Speaker 2 (00:37):
So Beyonce's Cowboy quarter Or tour has come to an end,
and Beyonce did it right. Her final show went down
in Vegas at Allegiance Stadium with surprise appearances that included
a Destiny's Child re union. Has been years since they
all rocked together, and they look better than ever by
the way performances with her husband, Jay Z and Shaboozie,
and it was a particularly emotional send for me. Seeing

(01:01):
the group back together was cool. She brought back Kelly
Rowland and Michelle Williams to Do Energy in a mashup
of Lose My Breath. As far as her emotional finale,
she expressed her love for Vegas and shared that she'd
envisioned ending the tour in this city, calling it a
dream come true. She also mentioned that she actually started
working on the Cowboy Carter tour before the Renaissance tour.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
Wow, that's Something's a planner.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
Yes she is.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
More Mario Lopez coming up, y'are Mario Lopez?

Speaker 2 (01:29):
More music edded your way right after Fraser breaks down
a few of the things hitting TV and streaming.

Speaker 4 (01:33):
Discovery has the season two premiere of Mud Madness, a
series that follows the world of extreme big tire UTV
mud racing. The show delves into the intense rivalries, custom
vehicle builds, challenging courses, and vibrant social scene of this
off road subculture.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
I did not know there was a mud subculture.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
This is fascinting. I didn't either, but I'm really curious
to check this out now, I think, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Well, a couple of seasons in someone's watching.

Speaker 4 (01:57):
Discovery also has the series premiere of The Proof Is
Out There Unexplained Edition. It's a special series where journalist
Tony Harris explores unexplained phenomena captured on camera, including UFOs
or UAPs, cryptids, whatever that is, and Erie encounters well, if.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
The proof is out there, why is it unexplained? Uh,
we have to watch.

Speaker 3 (02:16):
Maybe the proof's out there, we haven't found it yet, Okay.

Speaker 4 (02:18):
And Netflix has the premiere of WWE Unreal, a Netflix
docku series offering an unprecedented behind the scenes to look
at ww's creative process, going beyond the ring, to explore
the writer's room, writer's room. What, Yes, it's made up
and written and scripted and just kidding and lives of superstars.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
WWE Pro Wrestling in general is essentially a soap opera
for men.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
It is, and it's amazing. Yes, music rolls on.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
You're All Mario Lopez Corney's out, but her corner still exists,
a few more songs. We're going to come back for
a fresh life hack. Fraser's going to fill in for Quardo,
back to see what he's got for us. In ten,
You're All, Mario Lopez Quarto is out. Oh so Frasure
is filling in for her and Courtney's corner with some
fresh life hags. What you got Fraser.

Speaker 4 (03:04):
We're going to talk about how to barbecue but keep
it healthy in the summer. WHOA, Okay, so we all
love barbecue. It's not always the healthiest choice. Nutritionness have
weighed in. Here's what they say. Burgers and deviled eggs
are the healthiest choices because they contain high protein and
lower levels of sugar and net carbs.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
Wow, okay, I love me a deviled egg the obviously,
everyone loves burgers. Okay.

Speaker 4 (03:25):
The unhealthiest cookout dishes are desserts, obviously with more sugar
and saturated fat. But some vegetables, some good, some not
so good. It depends on what you're doing. Potato salad
has MAO in it, so that's high fat. Yeah, but
it's so good it is, but still high fat. Baked
beans can go either way. If you load them up
with bacon and stuff, then that's not so good. But

(03:45):
if you eat them just kind of as is, it's
not as bad.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
Huh.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
And if you sauces are worse than rubs.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
Yes, moderation people, Mario Lopez will be right back.

Speaker 3 (06:29):
Which should have the best ever, Well.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
I had enough Buffalo wings there in my three and
a half week stay to last me a lifetime. I
vowed not to eat another one until like Super Bowl
because I was just buffalo winged chicken winged out.

Speaker 3 (06:45):
Do you think ERIC craving them yet?

Speaker 2 (06:47):
I gotta be honest, I kind of craving them, kind
of craving them.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
But those were so good, Yeah, so good.

Speaker 2 (06:53):
But I went so hard that it's kind of like
when they stick the kid in the closet who wants
to smoke and he smokes it.

Speaker 3 (06:59):
Yeah, it's too much. You oversaturated, yourself saturated.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
But I might have to bust out of it because
it's National Chickening Day, all right, celeb Birthday is coming
up first, No more music time for today's let birthdays?
What Amaro Lopez here? As always raisers? Gonn shout him out.
I'm gona try to guess the ages.

Speaker 4 (07:14):
Josh Radnor from How I Met Your Mother? We had
him on I think last year for some movie that
he had out.

Speaker 3 (07:19):
Forty five fifty one. Oh, okay, Stephen Dorf from.

Speaker 4 (07:23):
Public Enemies, but for some reason I think of him
as a vampire.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
Yes, yes, he was in True Detective recently.

Speaker 3 (07:31):
Fifty fifty two. Okay, Yanye Morris from Boys to Men.

PBS about the Civil War and stuff.

Speaker 2 (07:44):
Ken Burns man, he can stretch out a documentary. I
eighteen Ken Burns is seventy two seventy.

Speaker 3 (07:49):
Two is correct?

Speaker 2 (07:50):

More Mario Lopez on the way.

Speaker 3 (08:04):
Music rolls on.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
Mario Lopez here, and since Cordo is auto, I think
we're gonna see what Randall thought. Frasier is bouncing around
in his head. What do you got?

Speaker 5 (08:11):
You know?

Speaker 4 (08:11):
People always say I would never, but then you see
them never ring like they never never before.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
Ooh, that's like an inception type of statement there. What's
going on? I would never, but then you see them
nevering like they would never.

Speaker 4 (08:23):
You see them doing the thing they said they would
never do in a more amped up way than they
probably would have done.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
People have aspirations, but disciplines a whole other thing.

Speaker 6 (08:33):
Yep, Mario Lopez here in today's guest should be zooming

Speaker 2 (09:07):
We got Tyson Ritter and Chris Gaylor. Welcome to the show, gentlemen.

Speaker 3 (09:10):
How are you, great man? How are you doing, Thanks
for having us.

Speaker 2 (09:13):
Thank you for taking the time. Congrats on the new single,
A cover of flag Pole set Up from Harvey Danger.
What inspired you to record this?

Speaker 5 (09:22):
We were kind of rolling through the southern United States
on a tour that was really easy, and so every
night we kind of just got on this fun little
like flashback playlist have it where we would just all
jam out sort of the songs that shaped us in
the nineties, and Flagpole Setter came on and maybe maybe
in a couple of drinks in and I was like,

(09:43):
we should cover this song, and everybody's like yeah, And
then I was like, no, no, we should record this and
everybody was like yeah. And it was that simple, and
given that we haven't done it in so long, it
was kind of a great little excuse just to get
back in the studio, which we haven't done in you know,
a decade, So it was it was a really fun time.

Speaker 2 (10:01):
I like hering artists kind of put their spin another
artists of songs.

Speaker 3 (10:05):
You can listen to Flagpole Sita on iHeartRadio.

Speaker 2 (10:08):
Or wherever you get your music. We got to take
a little break. We're gonna have more of the all

More fun on the way on with Mario Lopez.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
Mario Lopez here hanging out with the guys in American Rejacts,
who just released a new cover of Flagpole Sita. So
is this just the one off single or is there
more music in the works?

Speaker 5 (10:25):
You know, I think for us it was a beta,
just to see if we could tolerate each other in
the studio again, put our toes in the water, yeah
and tolerate yeah. No, no, there was no blood spilled,
so uh yeah, it could could lead to bigger and
better things for us.

Speaker 3 (10:40):
I think.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
Good to hear it. We can listen to Flagpole Sita
on iHeart Radio. Let's play more music right now, all
Mario Lopez. More with our guests and just a bit.

into my DMS over on ig add On with Mario Lopez.
You're on, Mario Lopez. My guess today are Tyson and

(11:01):
Chris from the All American Rejects And this is the
twenty fifth anniversary of the band's formation. What do you
all remember about your very first gig together.

Speaker 5 (11:10):
It was in Tulsa where we were just starting to
pop on radio, and it was like this wild Beatles
experience for us because it was just, you know, we'd
played this venue so many times just as a two piece.

Speaker 2 (11:25):
And there would be like five people there.

Speaker 5 (11:27):
But after the radio got ahold of it in Tulsa,
it was it was like wall to wall and it was.

Speaker 3 (11:32):
His first show.

Speaker 2 (11:33):
Yeah, so the heat was.

Speaker 5 (11:34):
On, yeah, no, and I remember the screams being louder
than our band and it was Yeah, it was a
wild sort of baptism by fire that kind of didn't stop.

Speaker 2 (11:44):
For many, many moons. It was great, and fifteen years ago,
the song gives you Hell Top Billboards mainstream chart. I mean,
when you get a number one song, it's got to
have that dream come true sort of feeling. Huh. I'm
still I can't still can't believe that happened.

Speaker 5 (12:02):
Yeah, No, I remember just going because Lady Gaga blew
up so big after that, I was like.

Speaker 2 (12:07):
We beat Lady Gaga.

Speaker 5 (12:08):
This year she opened for us at a radio pest
that we were doing, like we played after her at
one point.

Speaker 2 (12:15):
I mean, I was just weird. Well, it was definitely
a moment in history. All right, hang on, guys, got
one more thing I want to ask. We've got to
take a break. I'm gonna wrap it up with the
All American Rejects in just a moment.

Speaker 1 (12:26):

Speaker 2 (12:42):

just you're the only one from there?

Speaker 5 (12:45):
Still Water was where the band formed and he's from
Edmund And uh yeah, we just four Oaki's kind of
riding a rocket around for a while.

Speaker 2 (12:54):

Here was some quick food buzz good news if you're
a Wicked fan. General Mills now has two Wicked cereals,
one for Glinda in a pink box that has pink
puffy fruity cereal and one for Alpha Ba in a
green box of course with green also fruity cereal puffs.
The limited edition boxes are flying off the shelves at Walmart,
so they are really leaning into the Wicked phenomenon.

Speaker 3 (13:36):
Grab why can.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
All right, Ada omar and on Facebook and next addall Mario
Lopez on IG Mario Lopez here, love hearing from your questions, comments,
random thoughts, whatever you got. Fraser's been digging through our mentions.
What'd you find?

Speaker 3 (13:50):
This is from that? Blame Kevin. I don't really understand
this year.

Speaker 4 (13:53):
Every two minutes it's Monday, and all the drama is overkill,
you know what, Kevin?

Speaker 2 (13:59):
I kind of feel what you're saying right there. We
started off the beginning of the year with the fires
and everything was just kind of wild. It calmed down,
then you've got all these celebrity deaths and all kinds.

Speaker 3 (14:09):
Of dream like floods in multiple places in the country
and all this stuff.

Speaker 2 (14:13):
It's been a heck of a year and we're actually
at the halfway point, I believe, so hopefully the back
nine will be better.

Speaker 1 (14:20):
More Mario Lopez coming up, All Mario Lopez.

Speaker 2 (14:24):
Almost time to head on home, but.

Speaker 3 (14:26):
Not before we get to one last thing.

Speaker 2 (14:27):
From Coastal Cowgirl and Grandma Core to Tomato Girl. Nearly
three quarters of American women have a summer vibe they're
chasing this year, at least, according to a survey about
how women are spending their summer they uncover this seventy
four percent of respondents have a summer persona Okay, Sasha
fears out there for example, Summer fair, Yeah, summer fierce.
One popular persona is called the plates princess because they're

Princess will also have several trendy workout outfits, of course
they do, She's a princess.

Speaker 3 (14:58):
Oh and Coastal Cowgirls.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
Like there's summary drinks and spend a lot of time
at the pool.

Speaker 3 (15:03):
Which one are you? If you had to pick one
of these, I'm.

Speaker 2 (15:06):
