Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is on with Mario Lopez.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
Here we go, Mario Lopez back behind the my fired
up to get to hang with you for the next
few hours. Great guests joining us later too. The iconic
Corey Fellman returns to talk Dancing with the Stars, elimination,
new music, and more. Plus we're going to dig into
our mentions to see what's on your mind, share a
healthful life, actor to catch up on the buzz, and
play all your favorite music. So turn it up. You're
on with Mario Lopez. All Mario Lopez digging into the
(00:27):
buzz Because Katy Perry has confirmed she has a new man.
Speaker 1 (00:31):
On with Marion Hollywood Buzz.
Speaker 2 (00:34):
So, I remember when people used to break up and
they'd sort of mourn the death of their relationship and
it would take a minute before you move on. Not
Katy Perry. She seemingly confirmed a relationship with the former
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. They attended a very public
event together in Paris the other day. Prior to the
Paris outing, there were photos of them sharing intimate moments,
(00:55):
including kissing. They were in a yacht here in California.
Many believe that's pretty much an official confirmation of the romance.
Katie also subtly hinted at her new relationship during a
London concert earlier in October, telling fans she typically falls
for englishmen, but how to Tony Moore. Rumors started back
in July after the two were spotted together taking a
(01:17):
stroll in a park in Montreal.
Speaker 3 (01:19):
It seems like she was single five minutes, right, I
mean like the marriage to Orlando ended and then she
was spotted in that park. Hey, you know what's listening
very quickly.
Speaker 2 (01:28):
She's not one to wallow. Let's say good for you, Katie,
you live your life.
Speaker 1 (01:33):
Canda Moor, Mario Lopez coming up?
Speaker 2 (01:36):
What al Mario Lopez here? Keeping the music and fun
coming your way? As Fraser breaks down a few of
the new things on TV and streaming.
Speaker 3 (01:42):
Nightmares of Nature Season two of that on Netflix. It
is a new documentary series that presents the natural world
as a horror story, using a suspenseful and frightening tone
to depict the struggles of animal protagonists.
Speaker 4 (01:54):
And it's also narrated by my Hawk.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
Wow, this sounds like a account I follow on Instagram. Man,
nature is brutal. It is, It's incredibly brutal.
Speaker 3 (02:07):
Sometimes I have to make myself just not think about
it because it is really really brutal.
Speaker 4 (02:13):
It really is physical.
Speaker 3 (02:15):
Season three of That on Netflix, Sheila and Greta turned
their Body by Shila Aerobics business into a national franchise
called Strength by Numbers, while grappling with new rivals, including
a new menace that supplants Sheila's inner voice.
Speaker 2 (02:27):
Oh, I hope they use Olivia Newton Johnes song Physical
in that.
Speaker 4 (02:30):
I think they do. I think it's the theme.
Speaker 3 (02:31):
And Don't Date Brandon premiere of That on Paramount Plus.
It is a true crime docuseries that follows two ex wives,
Amber and Athena, who started a podcast to expose their
ex husband Brandon, a man who initially seemed like the
perfect boyfriend but was a manipulative liar with a criminal past.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
You know, the title is great, Don't Date Brandon. Ironically,
I think this is going to bring more attention to
Brandon and he's probably going to get more women after this.
Speaker 3 (02:57):
It's like when dudes go to prison and then they
like have all these women writing to them and they
get married and stuff.
Speaker 2 (03:02):
Brandon's going to be a celeb now, and there's women
out there that are going to be like I can
change them.
Speaker 4 (03:07):
Yeah, you're making Brandon more famous.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
Good luck with that. You're a Mario Lopez Cordo out today,
So Fraser stepping in with a fresh life hacker too,
and Quarto's Corners just a few songs away from that.
In the meantime, if you got a song you want
to hear, just hit me up on Facebook or Rex
at all with Miles, you're all Mario Lopez. Halloween, of
course is Friday. Quardo is out, but I believe she
has some trigger treating life acts for us, right, Frasin.
Speaker 3 (03:30):
Yes, these are little things you can do to make
trigger treating fun and safe, especially for the little kids.
Young kids like your son Santino and get overly excited
when they're running out house to house. So you probably
want to do something like get some glowstick bracelets. That
way you can keep an eye on them, maybe a
leash like you've talked about in the pass. I like
that you can put some reflective tape on the back
(03:51):
of their costume as well to help her with visibility.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
Yeah, because like in our neighborhood, we don't have street lights, so.
Speaker 3 (03:56):
That yeah, it's very dark, keep a flashlight on you
handy for a check, candy bags, darker streets like yours,
and finding dropped items. Bring a wagon, especially if you
have little ones. You can make them pull you once
you get tired, since you're old.
Speaker 2 (04:10):
Yes, that's that's a solid move right there.
Speaker 3 (04:12):
I'll bring a few healthier snacks with you, so if
the kids get hungry, they.
Speaker 4 (04:14):
Don't just see tons of candy.
Speaker 3 (04:15):
Some carrots and before bed that you'd be the lamest
parent in the world, Like, no, eat.
Speaker 4 (04:21):
This carrot instead of that butterfinger.
Speaker 3 (04:23):
And if you live somewhere colder, layers under the costume
to keep warm, long John's or a sweatshirt.
Speaker 2 (04:28):
We don't have to worry about that out here in
La but I do wonder about the East Coast kids.
They've got to be pretty particular with their outfits.
Speaker 3 (04:35):
You don't think it's cold out there, you don't go
skimpy with the outfit.
Speaker 2 (04:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (04:39):
More Mario Lopez coming up.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
You're a Mario Lopez And if you missed it, iHeartRadio.
Fiesta Latina was a night of celebration with the biggest
Latin artists in the world. Over the weekend. Performances from
Hebert and more from the iHeart Radio app to the
iHeart Radio stage. You can see the photos and moments
from the show ONMRI dot com.
Speaker 4 (04:59):
Slash yes to.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
All right, a few more songs than gonna fire up
zoom so we can chat with the legend, mister Corey Felman.
You're all with Mario Lopez. Corey just dropped new music
and he signed a new artist named Adrian Sky, who's
going to be joining us to talk new music next.
It's everyone with Mario Lopez. Joined me right now from
the latest season of Dancing with the Stars, actor musician,
my guy, Corey Feldman and his artist Adrian Sky. How
(05:24):
you guys doing, Hey, why are you buddy? Good to
see you good to see. First of all, before we
get into the music, Corey, I think you got rob
Man on dancing eliminated way too early. You've been dancing
your whole life. You know how to move. What are
your thoughts?
Speaker 5 (05:40):
Uh? You know, I echo your thoughts to my friend.
I think there was definitely something weird going on there.
I want to get too into the weeds of the
politics of the show because obviously it's way beyond me.
But you know, you see all this stuff in the press,
right you see all this stuff. People are so upsett,
there's backstage turmoil, there's all this stuff. I gotta tell you,
(06:01):
I didn't see any of that. I mean none, zero.
Speaker 4 (06:04):
The old zero.
Speaker 2 (06:06):
Everybody's focused on what they got in too.
Speaker 6 (06:08):
Everybody there was happy to be there.
Speaker 5 (06:10):
Everybody there was, including me, was excited to be there,
was having a great time.
Speaker 6 (06:15):
And you know, and contrary.
Speaker 5 (06:17):
To the reports, I was there every single day working
my butt off.
Speaker 6 (06:20):
I was there seven.
Speaker 5 (06:21):
Days a week, man, So you know there is I
told you, wow, big old Words might be making an appearance.
Speaker 2 (06:28):
That is the Austin Powers cat. Wow. Very cool.
Speaker 6 (06:31):
One million dollars on Halloween.
Speaker 2 (06:37):
Yes, all right, Corey and Adrian, hey ty quick break.
Then we're going to come back and talk some new music.
Speaker 1 (06:42):
More fun on the way on with Mario Lopez.
Speaker 2 (06:45):
Getting back to Corey film and Adrian Sky who were
hanging out with us. Mario Lopez here and Corey. Now,
last time you were on, you mentioned your new EP,
Evolutions was coming out. It's out now. Your song retro
Rock Blown Up What inspired that one.
Speaker 6 (06:59):
Characters actually is on the media Base right now. It's
at number thirty two on the Media Base charts.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
Nice.
Speaker 6 (07:04):
So we've been rocking on that too.
Speaker 2 (07:06):
Nice man. You also launched a record label called sci
Fi Records.
Speaker 6 (07:11):
Okay, so sci Fi has actually been around since two thousand.
Speaker 1 (07:15):
And nine, got it.
Speaker 5 (07:16):
We've launched it with the premiere of my Truth Movement
album Technology Analogy. So sci Fi Records has been responsible
for the release of Angel to the Core and the
Love Left box set, and like all the stuff that
you've seen from me over the last two decades, the
difference is.
Speaker 6 (07:32):
This is the first time that we've actually launched a.
Speaker 5 (07:34):
Brand new artist on our label, and Adrian is the talented,
beautiful girl that we thought was really worth the shot.
If you're going to get behind one other artist besides yourself,
besides your own projects that you want to put out
there and promote, you want to make sure that it's like,
really really great and really worth it and something that
people are going to value.
Speaker 6 (07:53):
And I promise you this girl's got the goods.
Speaker 2 (07:58):
Amar Lopez talking new music Filman and Adrian Sky, who
are hanging out on Zoom and Congratulations. Adrian Adrian Sky
is the full name debut singles out Circus Queen. How
would you describe the sound? So we're calling it gospeol,
which is basically a blend of gospel and modern pop music.
Oh so yeah, gothspool got h did you catch that? Okay,
(08:22):
little godlt I like that. I like that, all right,
all right.
Speaker 5 (08:26):
You know it's kind of taking the darker side of
gospel the darker side of pop station.
Speaker 6 (08:30):
Sure, you know you've.
Speaker 5 (08:31):
Got to go through the darkness to get to the light.
And her, like myself, she's had a very tumultuous wife.
Speaker 6 (08:37):
She's been through a lot of experience at a young age,
and you.
Speaker 5 (08:42):
Know she's dealt with a lot of hate. I think
we all have. I'm sure you have. I know that
I have, but I deal with it every day. There's
people who are ubsessed and want nothing more than to
just sit there and talk bad about me, about you,
about her, about everybody.
Speaker 2 (08:55):
Those are awful in.
Speaker 6 (08:57):
When you're in the spotlight.
Speaker 5 (08:58):
That's just part of how it is. And so she
hasn't spent her life in the spotlight. Just a beautiful girl.
But even beautiful girls get bullied and get picked on
all the time.
Speaker 6 (09:08):
So you know, her voice is for the masses, for
the girls out there that feel alone.
Speaker 2 (09:14):
Talking music with Corey Filman and Adrian Sky or on
Mario Lopez an Adrian you got your debut EP coming
out just before Halloween or on October thirtieth? Correct, And
did you guys co write a lot of these together?
Speaker 6 (09:26):
We did. I wrote the lyrics and he wrote the music.
But yes, the AP is called The Gospel.
Speaker 2 (09:31):
Of Adrian Sky.
Speaker 6 (09:32):
It will be coming out on October thirtieth, and there's
about five songs. It's an EP, so it's about a
half an album and it takes you through a little
bit of a journey, you know. There's everything from like
electronic dance music.
Speaker 5 (09:45):
With the first single, Circuit Queen is very electronic dance.
Speaker 6 (09:48):
Definitely can hear it on the dance floor. We're gonna
do some remixes.
Speaker 5 (09:52):
But beyond that, there's like a song that's really deep
and rich. It's like almost a gospel song. There's one
called vamp Why Are Ballad, which is why we thought
that we wanted to get out in time for Halloween
because everybody can play it on Halloween dressed up.
Speaker 6 (10:06):
As a vampire. It's a lot of fun.
Speaker 5 (10:08):
Nice Queen obviously that lends itself to the whole theme
of Halloween as well, but One of the bed songs
I must say on the album is a little duet
from her and myself. Nice Im make an appearance as well,
both vocally as a writer and producer, but also I
played drums on almost every song on the album.
Speaker 2 (10:29):
Look at that you're like Phil Collins, I like it.
Speaker 4 (10:32):
I like it.
Speaker 2 (10:32):
Well, congratulations Agent and Corey hank Ty. One more thing
I want to ask, quick break, and we're gonna come
back and wrap it up.
Speaker 1 (10:38):
You're the full interview now on with Mario dot Com.
More Mario Lopez on the way.
Speaker 2 (10:44):
Rapping up a Corey Felman, an Adrian Sky, Mario Lopez
here and just one last thing man before I let
you go, because this is really cool. Next year is
the fortieth anniversary of Stand by me Icond of film,
and you're getting ready to do some screenings and conversations
with fans alongside Jerry O'Connell and Will Wheaton. Right, that's right.
Speaker 6 (11:01):
This is very exciting because it's never happened.
Speaker 5 (11:03):
Before, you know, in the forty years that we've all
spent since that movie came out. Unfortunately, we lost River
very early, very young, and obviously that was a very sad.
Speaker 6 (11:15):
And hard thing for all of us to deal with
it because we all made like a bond.
Speaker 5 (11:19):
We were like, you know, the four guys, we really
made that bond because we were really together during that
super critical time when you're going from childhood to teenage
yeers and you're starting to understand yourself as a man.
And so losing River was a big blow to all
of us. And it's the first time that we thought,
you know, maybe the world wants to hear from the
rest of us together and see the rest of us together.
Speaker 6 (11:41):
And do something like this.
Speaker 5 (11:42):
So Jerry contacted me about it and said, guys, it's
time let's do something together. Let's do some Q and
a's let's do some screenings. So we're going out there.
We're test marketing at a bit, but the first little
run is going to be in December, just the head
of the fortieth anniversary.
Speaker 6 (11:59):
We're doing three East Coast dates, three in a row.
I know they only originally.
Speaker 5 (12:03):
Advertised the first two, but they sold so well that
they added a third night nice which is I don't
remember the exact date, but it's in December. It's at
the beginning of December, I believe, but check your local listings.
I know it's in New Jersey and New York, So
if you live in New Jersey or New York, come
out and see this.
Speaker 6 (12:20):
And now I know they're booking more of these screenings.
Speaker 5 (12:22):
For January and February, as well as the fortieth anniversary
from this year screenings of the Goonies. So we've got
fortieth anniversary screenings for the Goonies and fortieth anniversary screenings
we stand by me, all happening throughout the next year.
Speaker 4 (12:37):
What's going on?
Speaker 6 (12:38):
What's going on?

Speaker 2 (17:43):
Almost time to head home, but not before we get
to one last thing. Halloween not just for the kiddos.
Adults want the nostalgia of Halloween too. In fact, more
than half of adults believe they deserve their own adult
Halloween night without childcare responsibilities. Recent study also says nearly
seven to ten parents love Halloween for the memories of nostalgia.
They also say they'd rather go through a really scary
(18:04):
haunted house than run into the Rex.
Speaker 4 (18:06):
Maybe you could run into your ex at a scary
haunted house.
Speaker 2 (18:08):
That'd be super duper scary. Halloween still has a way
to go to catch up to Christmas. Is our favorite holiday,
but it's growing fast. This year, Halloween of courses on Friday,
so there were a lot of Halloween parties going down
the weekend before, and that way you can kind of
focus on the kiddos for the trigger treating and then
if you still want to hit up a party part
second time. There you go go again.
