Speaker 2 (02:40):
My Umbrella, the Umbrella Ella Ella, Mario Lopez coming up,
You're Mario Lopez. More music added your Way right after
quick look at some of the new stuff hitting TV
and streaming.

Speaker 5 (02:53):
Netflix has the series premiere of The Many Deaths of
Norad Mussel. This true crime documentary series delves into Nora's
unsolved murder, the media storm it ignited in Argentina, and
its lasting effect on her family.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
Ooh, many desks. Great title.

Speaker 5 (03:08):
Netflix also has the premiere of the Waterfront inspired by
true events, this new series dives into the flawed Buckley
family as their attempts to regain control of their crumbling
North Carolina fishing empire drive them to increasingly dangerous means
to keep themselves. A photo. This is from the dude
who made Dawson's Creak and Scream.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
Yeah, I interviewed the star of this show, and basically
they have to resort to shady dealings that reminded me
of Ozark. Okay, that's kind of what it sounded like.
It sounded like Ozark. They don't owe a cartel leader
any money necessarily, but business is bad, so they're doing

(03:46):
they gotta do to stay aflow. Al mari A Lopez
few more songs. We're going to share another helpful life
at Quardo is out, so Frazier is going to step
in and share a hack on her behalf. Courney's Corner
are coming up next. You're all, Mario Lopez. Courtney's out today,
but we're still going to hook up with some fresh
life hacks in Courtney's Corner. She just texted this one

(04:06):
over for you guys. What you got for us?

Speaker 5 (04:08):
We are reducing the amount of dishes at meal time
This went viral on TikTok, and it looks like a
pretty good idea. Buy some of those reusable food baskets.
A lot of restaurants use red ones. You can buy
a pack of parchment paper sheets as well. Every time
you make a meal, throw a fresh sheet of parchment
paper onto the basket and serve up the kids meals
and those at the end you just toss the parchment

(04:30):
away and boom. No dishes way cheaper than paper plates.
And the kids actually think it's cool because they think
they're eating out at some restaurant or something.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
That's pretty clever.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
I like that.

Speaker 1 (04:37):
Okay, Mario Lopez coming.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
Up, keep you the music in fun coming your way.
You're all Mario Lopez quickly reminding you that al Right
Heart Radio Music Festival is back in Vegas the September
nineteenth and twentieth, two nights, one stage, credible lineup again,

(05:01):
need to know about all Right Her Radio Music Festival
right now at almar dot com. Slash festival, Al Mario
Lopez keeping the music in fun coming your way, so
we get rid of the chat with Chicago fires. Germot mulroney.
He's got a wild new movie out called Killing Mary
Sue and he's in a band, so we're gonna have
to ask about that, talking all about it when German
Zom's in next. Sobyl Mario Lopez joining me right now

(05:23):
on Zoo Mactor Dermer mulroney, what's going on, German Maria.

Speaker 3 (05:27):
I'm doing great. Thank you so much. So nice to
see it.

Speaker 6 (05:30):
You know, we see each other about every six years,
whether we needed or not.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
That's right. I always look forward to it, either having
you on my show on Access or hear my friend congrats.
You got a new movie out called Killing Mary Sue.
Looks like a wild one. You you play a corrupt senator,
right who needs a step daughter murdered?

Speaker 6 (05:48):
Yeah, because she's sort of scandal ridden and she's getting
in the way of my re election campaign.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
Can't have that.

Speaker 6 (05:54):
Yeah, and also I figured the sympathy boat, so just
kill the step daughter. And you got to see this movie.
It's a mayhem. It comes on really strong and it
never stops. So a great comedy A cast pulls off
this excellent young filmmaker James K. Sunshine put this whole

(06:18):
picture together, a really unique, really unique movie.

Speaker 3 (06:21):
It's thrilled to be a part of.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
I love the premise. Definitely gonna check it out. Congrats
on that.

Speaker 6 (06:26):
I'm excited about. I just thought this weekend, it's just
everybody will wait for it. It's kind of a swing
for the Fences kind of movie. Is that for everybody?
Maybe not, but I bet it's for everybody under thirty eight?

Speaker 2 (06:37):
There you go, there you go. I'm not earner thirty eight,
but I'd like to check it out.

Speaker 3 (06:41):
So that's why I'm giving you a pass in case
you don't like being thirty nine.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
Yeah, right, that's it, thirty nine. That's that's the pivotal
point right there. All right, Germott, hang on quick break.
Then we're gonna have more with German and Moore Rooney.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
More fun on the way on with Mario a little.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
Pet getting back to German. Mulrooney was on Zoom with
us this hour. New movie is killing Mary Sue Mario
Lopez here and also love me some Westerns and I
know you starting a few of them, and you got
a new one coming out later this year called Long Shadows.
What's this one about?

Speaker 6 (07:10):
Well, it's amazing, amazing classic western, like vintage period piece
American tale. William Shockley with his producers, cooked it up,
wrote it and directed. He's a well known actor and
did an incredible job blaming May's in the lead part.

Speaker 3 (07:27):
And I play old the gun slinger.

Speaker 6 (07:28):
Type with the twist and really incredible cast in a big,
utiful classic movies. So that's that's out there. That's out there. Sin,
I just I'll even drop it in since you brought
it up. I just shaved up half my beard so
it looked kind of cool when I came on your
show over the weekend. I've acted just the two nights

(07:48):
on my son's short film that's a Western called Three
Dead Boys. So look for that on the Western Film
Festival Shorts circuit sometime soon. Oh.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
I love that, Like I said, I really do. It's
probably my favor for genre. All right, More with Dermot
coming up the first, more music. Catching up with actor
German mulroney this hour. Mario Lopez here and quickly we
were just talking about you working with your son on
the short film that's awesome. You got to you get
to work with your son. I've got to work with
mine a couple of times.

Speaker 6 (08:14):
So that's my son, Clyde mulroney. So we'll tell you
about that when it comes out.

Speaker 2 (08:18):
And is he directing or acting along with you?

Speaker 3 (08:21):
He wrote it in the forms one of the roles,
just three guys desk beradus in the desert. Really cool.

Speaker 6 (08:25):
Exciting of course to work with family, tiny crew, all
in the same Airbnb type of shoot. That harkens back
to the early days. Yeah, his early days and mine
not so early days, overlapped. It's really really remarkable. Thanks
for letting me touch on that.

Speaker 2 (08:42):
Absolutely. When you're ready to go, come back and talk.
We'll talk to you and your son. That'll be awesome.
All right, Hey, Tig, gonna play a little more music
and come back with some more Germans. Joe Mario Lopez
actor German mulroney on Zoom with Us This sourman talking
about your movies. But you're also in Chicago Fire on NBC.
He's in thirteen. Wow, just wrapped up with some drama

(09:03):
for your character right there. What can fans expect in
the upcoming season?

Speaker 6 (09:07):
Well, I know nothing, about the story as always, which
is an incredible thing I think. Anyhow, it's kind of
new for me where you really just don't know the
week by week what's going to happen then to you
next you become so associated with your own character.

Speaker 3 (09:23):
Yeah, play the whole series length of.

Speaker 6 (09:26):
Time, so I don't know what happens. I can say
officially now that I am back for season fourteen, So
that's wonderful news. I think at about episode eighteen or nineteen,
they could have gone any way with a cheap pascal.
I could have been asked out of sent up the river,
whatever it was. So I made it through the season
with some terrible loss and had the honor of portraying

(09:49):
a family member, you know in Deep Greef sudden loss
and not just again. The difference for me is I
might have played that in a movie, but then it's
over here. It's the kind of loss that clays and
never goes away, and you see my character very complex
process of trying to trying to go through the early
days of loss and get back to work and kind

(10:10):
of fail and fall down and have that firehouse.

Speaker 3 (10:12):
Yeah, he pick them up.

Speaker 6 (10:13):
It's an amazing storyline. Season thirteen Season fourteen. We start
shooting about three weeks.

Speaker 2 (10:19):
Oh, that's awesome in Chicago.

Speaker 3 (10:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (10:21):
I generally go back and forth, but I love being
there and was there for all sorts of outdoor action scenes.
All Weather started in July one hundred. Can't say it
was one hundred. It was ninety eight that day in
Chicago's heat city heat and at the the depths of February,
of course, it was zero degrees outside at night. But

(10:43):
you catch that show, even a frame of that show sometime, Maria,
and you see that breath.

Speaker 3 (10:47):
Coming out of all I can see it cold in
the air, and there's fat flames back lived behind us
in water.

Speaker 6 (10:53):
It's incredible crew that puts that together every week.

Speaker 3 (10:57):
So we're lucky to get back and do it some
more soon.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
That's awesome.

Speaker 3 (11:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (11:00):
I did a project out there just outside of Chicago,
in Chicago and Long Grove, some towns, and we had
a lot of the crew that works from your show.
As a matter of fact, they were great. I just
came get over how cold it was still in April.
It was snowing in April. It's ridiculous. That's that we
do exactly one more thing I want to ask on
hank Ty Quick Break, We're gonna come back and rap
it up with Germany.

Speaker 1 (11:18):
We You're the full interview now on with Mario dot
Com more Mario Lopez on the Way, wrap it.

Speaker 2 (11:24):
Up with Jerman Olroney or on Mario Lopez and before
you go, I thought this was cool. You're in a
band with your brother called Jack Rabbit. What kind of
music do you guys play?

Speaker 6 (11:33):
Well, we played music who eyes, of course, but had
really a great time in a couple bands over the
years and feel like we've come home to where we belong.
We're doing country and western, straight up old school hey,
original songs, but definitely within old timey twang brother harmony
over every note in every song. You can find the
four songs that we have finished out there on the

(11:56):
platforms Jackrabbit, Jackrabbit dot band dot l A on Instagram,
you'll find us if you look for me. Great old
time and the best part, of course, is spending time
with family. I have three other siblings, but wow, and
I just always it's so funny. I'm talking. I got
to pick we played all you know, we're really musical
life partners and this is the result of that three

(12:18):
other guys, great country band. We play a little a
couple of country festivals this summer out there Colorado and Wyoming.

Speaker 3 (12:25):
And then come back to Chicago fire to continue. So
good for you. We'll see what happens.

Speaker 6 (12:30):
We're just out to make sure people hear great music.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
That's awesome. That's the best. I love working with your son,
your brother does not get better than that. And listen, everyone,
please be sure to check out Jermy in the new
film Killing Mary Sue, which is out now, and be
on the lookout for all those other projects that he's
got cooking in his music as well. Dermott, thanks for
checking in.

Speaker 3 (12:48):
Man, oh man, Mario, you're the best. Thanks a lot.
You're gonna love Killing mary Sue. Yeah. I know you've
got so much to do, but give yourself.

Speaker 6 (12:55):
No.

Speaker 2 (12:55):
I'm like when I was reading, I was like, oh damn,
that sounds pretty crazy.

Speaker 3 (12:58):
Check it out.

Speaker 6 (12:59):
Great to see you again, you two, Maddy, take care,
appreciate it.

Speaker 3 (13:02):
There to see you.

Speaker 1 (13:17):
All.

Speaker 2 (13:17):
Mario Lopez. Still so much radio fun to get to
you gotta dig into the buzz to see what's trending.
In a bit, got some celeb birthdays to shout out
later as well, and just a few songs away from
Fraser asking a random question. So if you've got to song,
anyone here, drop it in our mentions over on Facebook
at On with Mario al Maria Lopez. My wife Courtney
out today, but that can't stop us from asking a
random question. So, Fraser, what do you got?

Speaker 5 (13:39):
Would you rather give up all music or give up
all movies and TV shows for the rest of your life.

Speaker 2 (13:46):
I'm assume there's some monetary incentive involved.

Speaker 5 (13:51):
No, you just have to give up one of one
of those two things. There's no money. You either can
never see a movie and TV show again or never
listen to music again. So and if you choose TV
and movies, all the music is removed.

Speaker 2 (14:06):
My occupation consists of music, TV shows, and movies.

Speaker 5 (14:12):
So I'm go get a new job.

Speaker 2 (14:13):
So that would be very, very tough. Ooh, I'm struggling
with this. I am struggling with this.

Speaker 5 (14:20):
I don't think I can give up music, to be
honest with you, Yeah, I'll tell you while you're thinking
about it. The more I thought about this, I think
I would give up TV shows and movies because music
like I feel like you can just sort of immerse
yourself in music anywhere, anytime, TV shows and movies, especially
if you remove all the music, they're not even gonna
be that good.

Speaker 2 (14:37):
You can have a party without good music. Well, here's
the thing. I can still read books, so it would
be all about reading books and music. I'd be good
with that.

Speaker 1 (14:46):
More Mario Lopez coming up?

Speaker 2 (14:49):
What a Mario Lopez?

Speaker 1 (14:50):
There?

Speaker 2 (14:50):

Onmura dot com, so Fraser can tell us what's trending.

Speaker 5 (14:55):
Kylie Jenner has revealed what her daughter Stormy really thinks
of her king Kylie Era.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
Oh, she's old to start voicing in a pick you know, Okay?

Speaker 5 (15:02):
I think she kind of roasted her mom, which was
kind of funny.

Speaker 4 (15:04):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (15:05):
White Lotus star Jason Isaacs has revealed how much the
cast really got paid per episode of the.

Speaker 2 (15:10):

Speaker 2 (15:52):

he was born a few months early on May seventh. Well,
congratulations to them. That's a nice, strong name, and I
like that they didn't make us wait for the name.

(17:43):
That's become a thing. As of late, they delay revealing
the name for months sometimes, so good for you, little archer.
MGK also back in the headlines because he's finally revealing
the name of the baby he recently had with Megan Fox.
Case in point, they waited a long time three months
as a man. Matter of fact, they welcome to baby girl,
and they announced her name is Saga Blade Fox Baker.

they're going to see nearly twenty two hours of daylight.
