a slower pace you get away from Hollywood. It's just normalcy,

Speaker 1 (05:42):
More Mario Lopez on the way Almaro Courtney Lopez. You
know I love me some crazy headlines, and this one's
just insane. Lawrence van Wassenhove is suing her longtime employer,
a French telecom company, for discrimination after spending twenty years
on the payroll without being given any real work. Essentially,
she was paid to do nothing. Wait, so what Yeah,
(06:03):
so she's complaining. She moved to a secretary role in
ninety three due to medical issues, but when she could
no longer perform those duties, her repeated request for another position,
we're ignored. Instead, she was left on standby and eventually
put on long term sickly. She says, the result was
two decades of isolation, depression, and feeling invisible. So now
she's taking legal action, accusing her company of failing to
support her needs and sidelining her.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
Okay, I have so many questions about this because A,
if you're getting paid to do nothing, who would complain?
Speaker 5 (06:34):
Well, she is number one, and.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
Number two you had twenty years of being able to
look for a new job.
Speaker 3 (06:41):
Yeah, but you also had twenty years to take legal action. Then, yeah,
when it was happening.
Speaker 2 (06:45):
This seems weird, like a shake down, pay me for nothing.
I'm down, Well.
Speaker 4 (06:50):
Mario Lopez will be right back.
Speaker 5 (06:52):
A'maro Courtney Lopez. Music rolls on.
Speaker 1 (06:55):

You know what it sounds crazy with Nathan Daniels is
actually onto something. It seems like from this point, even
though we're only halfway to the year, it starts to
really fly by.
Speaker 2 (08:05):
No, this year has flown by so far, and now
it's just we're gonna blink and it's gonna be over.
Speaker 5 (08:11):
Well, here's the thing.
Speaker 1 (08:13):
We're predominantly through summer, and we've had a relatively tame
summer here in La The weather's been pretty beautiful. So
does that mean we're gonna have an what do they
call it, an Indian summer later on? It's gonna get
hotter come fall.

All these years later we'd be married, three kids, three dogs,
and still still going strong hair. But yeah, it was
on a bucket list of mind. I always want to
do be on Broadway.
Speaker 3 (09:44):
If they're going to say to marry Cordo.
Speaker 1 (09:49):
It was a bucket list of mine to to to
be able to scratch off doing Broadway, and I was
