schools and government buildings. CN Hosbocks spent eighteen months fundraising
to purchase five AEDs to equip five local public sports
and recreational facilities. The local fire department supported the project
and will maintain the devices.

So we had the host of this show on my
show Access Daily, and we played a game of is
it Cake Halloween?

Speaker 6 (02:05):
Really?

Speaker 4 (02:05):
We need to guess about seven or eight cakes. It's hard.
I got maybe two kkes.

Speaker 6 (02:11):
What were the items?

Speaker 2 (02:13):
They were like a jack O'Lantern, a Witch, the all
Halloween themes, right, so stuff like that, and they look
so real and summer. But here's the thing, the things
when they're not real, it's like a saran It looks
like it could they kind They do a really good job.

Wow.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
And Hulu begins streaming their new limited series The Lost
Station Girls, a sixth episode French true crime drama on
two decade. I think they went no no, no about
sorry about a two decade long? That was Quardo hunt

a teenage girl between nineteen ninety five and two thousand

(03:16):

case and serve up some justice. All rise and welcome.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
Courtney Cordo Lopez.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
Yes, today's case comes from Emily Soothly great name. She says,
need some advice on how to handle a situation with
one of my best friends, who also happens to be
a coworker. She and I have known each other since
freshman year of high school, ended up going to the
same college. Both got off her jobs at the same company.
After a year, a better position at another company with
more pay opened up, and I applied. After telling my

(04:19):
friend coworker, she got all weird and gave me the
silent treatment for a week. I guess, trying to make
me feel guilty for potentially leaving.

Speaker 7 (04:25):
Well.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
Turns out she also applied during that time, and when
neither of us got the gig, she started acting like
nothing happened, and when I try to bring it up,
she just avoids a topic. Not sure where to go
from here because I can't let go ooh.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
I want to say this is friendly competition, but I
think you guys need to work at different places and
go your separate ways and still be friends. But I
feel like you need to put the kebash on certain
things and boundaries and you know, separate and just be friends,
but not be in constant competition.

Speaker 4 (04:57):
I think that's healthy advice.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
Moore, Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
You're a Mario Courtney Lopez more music edited your Way
right now after a quick digital pit stop at on

Nicole Kidman is debuting a new hair transformation and her
first post since filing for divorce from Keith Urban.

That's a move. Right you get divorced and women like
to cut their hair.

Speaker 3 (05:19):
Go up with cutting off all the negativity in your life,
you know, starting over, shave that head. Check out Taylor
Swift in awe of Selena Gomez in a sweet pre
wedding video, and Cardi b revealing the truth about why
her relationship with Offset is.

Speaker 2 (06:08):
Thank you for taking the time. Been a fan for
a while, so it's nice to speak with you. I
saw your set from the Iheartrated Music Festival the other week,
rocked it out. What's it like playing a festival like
that with the wide variety of artists from different genres.

Speaker 5 (06:23):
Oh no, it's fine, great. I'll play with anybody.

Speaker 4 (06:27):
I like that attitude. I like that very cool.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
Your new album, Roll with the Punches, is very much
like that attitude. That's been out for about a month
and now people are digging it and you've accomplished so
much in your career. What keeps you motivated as far
as writing new music?

Speaker 7 (06:42):
Ah, well, this most recent album is on my first
foy as an independent artist, and it's like I've got
white earrings, but I don't need e.

Speaker 1 (06:51):
Yes, and.

Speaker 5 (06:55):
So got quite excited about that.

Speaker 7 (06:56):
And at the time when it actually happened and I
was no longer signed, I remember walking upstairs and just thinking, well,
I guess I got to Roll with the Punches, and
that's actually quite a good title.

Speaker 5 (07:10):
For a song. And so thus was the beginning of
the album.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
Very cool title and a couple of great singles on it,
which I want to ask about more with Brian Adams
coming up after a quick break.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
More Fun on the Way on with Mario Lopez.

Speaker 4 (07:24):
Getting back to Brian Adams, who's on Zoom with us.

and two new singles Roll with the Punches you mentioned
also make up your mind any particular inspiration behind those.

Speaker 5 (07:35):
Well, like I said, Roll with the punch it speaks
for itself.

Speaker 7 (07:37):
You know, it's about getting up and facing adversity and
standing on your own and make up your mind. Kind
of a special song. I use it as in my show.
I use it to showcase my drummer Pat Stewart because
he's if you listen to If you listen to the song,
you'll see why.

Speaker 4 (07:57):
A Mario Lopez got Brian Adams on Zoom with us.
This hour. New album is Roll with the Punches, And
I know you're going to be on tour all fall along.

which is cool, it always has been.

Speaker 4 (08:12):
That's awesome. You You clearly keep in shape, right there.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
Any particular routine you like to get into to keep
the stamina night after night, Well.

Speaker 7 (08:22):
I mean, I think the thing that's best about uh
being one of the things you have to do as
a singer is you sort of have to always keep
working because it's like when an athlete trains to run
a marathon or something.

Speaker 5 (08:37):
You have to sort of build up to it.

Speaker 7 (08:39):
And I think the same with voices you've got to
keep them, keep them in certain.

Speaker 4 (08:44):
You got to keep it in shape to muscle.

Speaker 5 (08:46):
You've been in shape. Yeah, it's a muscle exactly.

Speaker 4 (08:50):
Catch it up with Brian Adams this hour. What a
Mario Lopez here and Brian. Over the summer.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
You became one of the few artists to play the
Amphitheater of Pompeii in Italy. Of course, the place was
built around seventy BC, which is wild. What was that
experience like?

Speaker 5 (09:04):
Yeah, it was interesting.

Speaker 7 (09:05):
I played it acoustically just for my guitar, and I
love playing in Italy.

Speaker 5 (09:11):
It's an amazing place to play.

Speaker 7 (09:12):
And to have played that particular Amphitheater, which was originally
one of the first places that I what the first
Western band played.

Speaker 5 (09:23):
I think it was Pink Floyd back in the seventies.

Speaker 4 (09:25):
Oh wow.

Speaker 5 (09:26):
And so just to be part of that legacy's pretty cool.
I loved it. It was amazing. The food was amazing.

Speaker 4 (09:34):
Ive you mentioned guitars.

Speaker 2 (09:36):
Is it true you actually own and play one of
Johnny Cash's guitars.

Speaker 5 (09:41):
I do. I do have one of Johnny's guitars.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
Yes, Oh that's cool. Had nineteen fifty six Martin d
eighteen that's awesome. Was it Is there a story behind
that or you just got an auction or something.

Speaker 7 (09:54):
A friend of mine owned it and he came on
hard times and I said, well, if you if you're
looking get rid of the guitar, I'd be happy to
take it up your hands. He said, I would appreciate it.
And so he says, I think give me to be
a good home. So yeah, I've been using it for
a bun of years.

Speaker 4 (10:11):
Oh, that's awesome, very cool. Are one more thing I
want to ask? So Hank tight quick break and we're
going to come back and.

by the songwriters today. There's there's there's just people that
can write stuff that I wouldn't be able to write
and saying, yeah, I don't look who am I thinking
of Lowly Young for example, and Billie Eilish.

Yes, I don't have time for any of this either.
And six seven six seven that's a tough one because
it really has no meaning. It's stupid, but kids love
to throw it around and usually get a good laugh around.

Speaker 4 (15:21):
Us sig seven.

Speaker 3 (15:22):
