Speaker 4 (02:49):
Hulu has a series premiere of Paradise, starring Sterling K.
Brown and James Marsden. A serene community inhabited by some
of the world's most prominent individuals, but the tranquility explodes
when a shocking murder takes place and a high stakes
investigation unfold.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
That's such an unnecessary description. Oh my gosh, it actually
looks really good. I'll break it down. It's from the
creator of This is Us and he's obviously a big
fan of Sterling K. Brown, who plays the head of
the Secret Service, and he was last with the President
when he died, so he gets accused of murder and
they're trying to figure out what exactly happened. Much better premise, right,

(03:30):
I mean actscribe. That what makes me a little more
excited to.

Speaker 4 (03:33):
The description that I read that trying thatscription.

Speaker 7 (03:37):
My description was right to the point.

Speaker 5 (03:38):
It was the one Courtney gave.

Speaker 8 (03:40):
Is like when we asked Liam Neeson to give the
premise of his movie and then he.

Speaker 5 (03:44):
Just read the whole life. Thank you to us.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
Come on. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (03:47):
The History Channel has the series premiere of Hunting History
with Stephen Ranella. Joined by world renowned outdoorsman and author
Stephen Ranella as he dives into history's greatest and most
perplexing wilderness mysteries.

Speaker 5 (04:00):
I'm down for this.

Speaker 7 (04:01):
How does one become a world renowned outdoorsman?

Speaker 5 (04:04):
I think it's self proclaimed.

Speaker 7 (04:05):
I think it is Mario.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
Courtney Lopez here taking a quick second, recognized today's obscure holiday.

Speaker 7 (04:12):
What are we celebrating today? Honey?

Speaker 4 (04:13):
It is International Lego Day.

Speaker 7 (04:16):
Sun Dominic absolutely loves Zach.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
Loves legos, and these legos are next level these days.

Speaker 7 (04:22):
They're intro.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
He's got all these Star Wars legos of the Death Doll, Moral, Millennium,
Falcon and there's thousands of pieces.

Speaker 5 (04:28):
He put them together, Yeah, he does.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
He puts them together. God forbid he loses one that
we see it in the dog's mouth. It's a whole thing.

Speaker 7 (04:36):
I have another helpful life. Haag mariyo. Courtney Lopez here,
all right, honey, what you got for us today? In
Courtney's corner.

Speaker 4 (04:42):
The CIA trick to reduce any pain you have with
the power of your mind. Oh okay, this is actually
a good one. So look with your eyes closed, which
sounds weird. You can't really look while your eyes are closed,
but close.

Speaker 5 (04:56):
Your eyes in your mind's eye.

Speaker 4 (04:57):
Yeah, close your eyes and in your mind look at
the part of your body that hurts. Okay, and as
you look, repeat in your mind the number five, five, five,
one five. Do these two things. The pain signals will
slowly reduce, and they are no longer importante.

Speaker 7 (05:17):
I wonder why that number? Can I do?

Speaker 1 (05:19):
Eight?

Speaker 7 (05:19):
Six, seven, five, three oh nine?

Speaker 1 (05:21):
Better?

Speaker 5 (05:21):
No, too many numbers. I'll remember that numb number. I think.

Speaker 4 (05:24):
Fine, let's do it together.

Speaker 7 (05:26):
Closure you none, You guys got that that was Jenny's number.

Speaker 5 (05:29):
We know I know what it was.

Speaker 8 (05:30):
Yeah right, you don't know this actually does work. I
did try it, like and it did kind of work
for a minute.

Speaker 7 (05:35):
Hmmm, I knew.

Speaker 4 (05:36):
Exactly what number you were talking about.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
More Mario Lopez coming up?

Speaker 7 (05:42):
Yah, marl Courtney Lopez. Don't forget that.

Speaker 3 (05:44):

coming your ways.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
We get ready to fire up Zoom and chat with
Heidi and Spencer Pratt. Sadly they lost their home in
the Elle wildfire, so we're going to get an update
on that.

Speaker 4 (06:19):
We're going to talk music with Heidi. She's back on
the charts.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
More next, Mario Lopez joining me right now on Zoom.
Reality TV star Heidi Montag.

Speaker 7 (06:29):
How are you, Heidi?

Speaker 6 (06:31):
You know I am hanging in there. How are you?

Speaker 1 (06:35):
You?

Speaker 6 (06:35):
Guys are back home.

Speaker 3 (06:36):
We are back home, Thank you very much. Everyone is safe.
And Spencer not with us at the moment because.

Speaker 9 (06:45):
Because he has a business call. He said the biggest
meeting of his life.

Speaker 6 (06:49):
So okay, that translates.

Speaker 3 (06:52):
Well, good luck with that, and listen, I'm so sorry
when I heard you lost your home in the Palistates
fire man. Praying for you guys right there, you seem
to be holding up well. I love all the support
that people have been giving you through your song and
your music. That that was really cool to see. We've
been reporting about that.

Speaker 6 (07:13):
Yeah, that was such a blessing.

Speaker 9 (07:14):
I mean, it's so funny how God can use the
hardest thing in your life to be such a good thing.
But just to have everybody really rally behind us and
our family, you know, it just it gets so emotional,
but it just means so much because losing everything is
really hard.

Speaker 1 (07:30):
You know, your.

Speaker 10 (07:31):
Kids, stuff and things, and you know, home is not
just a place that you live, it's a place that
you love, and it's your sanctuary and it's your memories
and it's your heart.

Speaker 6 (07:42):
So that was really challenging.

Speaker 9 (07:44):
But to have everybody support us and to help build
us back up and to be able to, you know,
hopefully rebuild our house again will be amazing. So we're
just really thankful for the love and the support and
the prayers because that's what's making the biggest difference is awesome.

Speaker 3 (08:01):
Superficial was the name of the debut album dropped fifteen
years ago, climbed all the way to number one.

Speaker 7 (08:06):
Just beautiful to see, all.

Speaker 3 (08:07):
Right, Heidi Hank tied for me to go to take
a quick break, and they're gonna come back with Heidi Pratt.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
More with Mario Lopez after this.

Speaker 3 (08:13):
Mario Lopez here quickly getting back to Heidi Pratt, who's
on zoom been talking about the Elle wildfires in the
loss of your home. How quickly, by the way did
the fire get to.

Speaker 9 (08:22):
You this it's I heard about it at ten thirty
when my nanny came in and she was like, there's
a fire down the street, and I just I thought
it was two ridges over we saw. I didn't think that.
I thought they'd be able to stop it. And then
it consumed our house at about four, you know. So
I had my son home and he was sick. He
had one hundred and four fever. I'd been up with

(08:44):
him for several nights in a row, trying to cool
his body down in the bath, and I was just
in such mom mode about him. And Spencer hiked up
the trail and was watching the airplanes. He's like, I
think it's fine. So around, like, you know, one o'clock,
he was like, take whatever you want to keep, And
at that point, you know, you only have a short

(09:06):
amount of time to run around your house and get
everything I had close packed for the kids just in
case it was like an overnight, like a few things
for them.

Speaker 6 (09:13):
I grabbed their bears.

Speaker 9 (09:15):
But by the time I thought, wow, I'm never going
to get back here again. Possibly to leaving was like
twenty minutes.

Speaker 3 (09:22):
Man. It's unbelievable how quickly it all happened, Like it
just went down so so quick. All right, Heidi, hang
time for me. We're gonna have more with Heidi Pratt
coming up, but first more music chatting with Heidi prat
this hour. Mario Lopez here, and you also got some
new songs going back to music for a second coming
out as well.

Speaker 9 (09:41):
Right, I do, yeah, tonight there's some music coming out.
I don't know if I'm supposed to say that or not,
but I think so.

Speaker 6 (09:47):
I think that's the yeah, but I do.

Speaker 3 (09:49):
And is it true that a particular pop star reached
out to you for a collab?

Speaker 9 (09:54):
Yes, I actually have two pop stars that reached out.
One is a global superstar too, and so I'm waiting
for that. And that person was really excited to do
charity with it, and we would have the proceeds go
to charity and you know, La Fire Relief and then
same with the other song. We're going to have it
be for charity and La Fire Relief because we're really

(10:14):
just trying to give back as much as we can,
Like we need to rebuild our house and obviously have
finances to do that, which we're far from, but also
I want to help the community to rebuild. And yeah,
I'm waiting for these superstars. One submitted the song and
the other one I'm waiting. So I was told that
that person was sick and I'm like, okay, well sooner
than later.

Speaker 3 (10:35):
Yeah, oh that's great, look forward to look forward to
that and when that happens, any chance you might be
performing these songs on stage.

Speaker 9 (10:42):
I've had a few inquiries. I mean one was for
a festival with sixty six thousand people and that was enticing.

Speaker 6 (10:52):
So we'll see if that is.

Speaker 9 (10:53):
You know, it's Hollywood, so you never really know what
happens until it actually happens.

Speaker 7 (10:58):
Yeah, exactly, All right, do you got to get back
for music?

Speaker 3 (11:00):
So hang ty a few songs and I'm gonna wrap
it up with Heidi Pratt.

Speaker 7 (11:05):
Wrapping up with Heidi Pratt, you're al Mario Lopez and.

Speaker 3 (11:07):
Heidi, before you go, what are your thoughts about TikTok
when it went away for about eight hours and then
came back. Because I know you're big on social media.
Do you think it'll just if it does go away,
will it kind of just focus more attentions on existing
platforms and or another one will pop up.

Speaker 9 (11:24):
That was actually devastating for us because it's such a
different group of people that's on TikTok, and I feel
like it's a really more supportive, kinder app in general,
and I also feel like it's way better for music.
So I love all the apps, and they all have
their pluses and minuses, but they're different communities and you
think like, oh, everyone's on all of them, but that's
not necessarily true. So for us, TikTok has been one

(11:46):
of the main platforms that really created the support behind
my music. And people don't realize that there's so many
small businesses and people that make money on TikTok and
TikTok shop and TikTok Live and it's really created a
lot of income for people. You know, I know teachers
that do part time live and can make money on that,
and then they're also teachers so it's created a lot

(12:09):
more income for a lot of people.

Speaker 6 (12:11):
So I would be really devastated for those people on it.

Speaker 7 (12:15):
No, that makes a lot of sense.

Speaker 3 (12:17):
Well, listen, I'm glad you're okay and your family's okay,
and things seem to be.

Speaker 7 (12:21):
Trending in the right direction.

Speaker 3 (12:23):
Be sure to stream Heidi's music right now if you haven't,
on your iHeartRadio app or wherever you stream music.

Speaker 7 (12:30):
Heidi, take care, God.

Speaker 3 (12:32):
Bless and say hi to Spencer for me, and thanks
for taking the time to check in.

Speaker 9 (12:36):
Thank you, Mario, God bless you and your family. Stay safe,
and thank you so much for the support and having us.

Speaker 7 (12:41):
You got it, see love to see it soon. Take care,
Thank You're The full.

a ew. Well, they also found out that the most
of us want to be an equal bread winner with
our partners. I'm good and work.

This is from at Emily Kme And she said, has
everyone Has anyone ever considered that millennials aren't aging because
those kool Aid jammers, lunchables and Flintstone vitamins have preserved us.

Speaker 3 (15:24):
First of all, that is a gen X thing, not
a millennial thing. That is a gen X thing. So
don't try to take our vibe because we were all
about kool Aid, lunchables in Flintstone.

Speaker 5 (15:34):
Maybe the Jammers are millennial. I don't really know what
that is, but kool Aid was definitely us.

Speaker 3 (15:38):
We also had crazy don't We were huge on kool Aid.
We were huge on Flintstone vitamins.

Speaker 5 (15:42):
That's what I'm saying. It was us. We're more gen
X than we are millennial. No, we're right on that
ag she won.

Speaker 8 (15:49):
We're eighty one. No, but we don't fall into the
millennial thing. There's like a weird category, like in between.

Speaker 7 (15:55):

eer call?

Speaker 4 (17:48):
Up one percent is seventy eight percent use of inappropriate language.

Time for one last thing. Animals are apparently just like us.
According to new study, dogs get grumpier as they age,
just like humans. Makes sense. Dog's behavior often changes as
they age. Senior dogs may become less playful and energetic,
instead preferring quieter activities, and it may make the dogs
seem grumpier or less tolerant, especially in situations that disrupt

(19:38):
the routine or involves younger, more active pets They say
to introduce your older dog to younger dogs to keep
them healthy and active. With them active, Yeah, apparently it's
just annoying them more.
