Speaker 2 (05:52):
Happy Flashback Friday, Mario and Cordo Lopez here, Now that
we're in year thirteen of the radio, shall wait a minute,
Wait a minute, wait a minute. Are we year thirteen?

Speaker 4 (06:01):
We're in two year thirteen.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
Hey, you know what, that's pretty good.

Speaker 4 (06:04):
We launched Just Me and You January twenty twelve. Wow,
we added Nichols and Quardo.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
And well, I'm as long as Dominic. I started full
full time if you will, when Dominic was born. Really, yeah,
we started at Universal.

Speaker 5 (06:20):
Because I do have footage of her pregnant dancing around
our old studio in that restaurant at the Grove.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
In that crazy time play. Hey, that's pretty successful. Run there, kids.
Congrats to you all. Yes, thank you. So we thought
we'd start doing something fun for Flashback Friday, dig into
the on with Mario Vault and play back something from
the early days of the show. So, Fraser, what have
you chosen this week?

Speaker 4 (06:42):
Well, we used to do something really fun.

Speaker 5 (06:43):
This was an idea that Nichols and I came up
with randomly one night, and.

Speaker 4 (06:48):
Then it really worked out.

Speaker 5 (06:50):
We had your children do unseen movie reviews, so they
would basically have new movies coming out on a Friday,
and then we would get Gias thoughts. Sometimes Nico would
chime in and I think we might start having Sonny
do it. But this one was Gia reviewing The Conjuring Two.

Speaker 6 (07:06):
The Conjuring Two is scary. It is about the Hearted
House from the seventies. The movie is scarier than Disco.
It is based on a true story. The scariest part
is that it takes place before the Internet.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
It is from the.

Speaker 6 (07:22):
Director of other scary movies like Saw Fast and the
Furious seven. I got scared when the ghosts stumped out
of the wall. They're not as scared as my daddy.
I don't know if it's scarier than conjuring one because
I was a baby when I saw that one. I say,
go see it this weekend. I get a four out

(07:43):
of five ghosts.

Speaker 3 (07:44):
Oh so precious you forget right, No.

Speaker 4 (07:50):
But that feels like a million years ago.

Speaker 2 (07:52):
Now she's sitting with bro really a party.

Speaker 4 (07:55):
Just so you know.

Speaker 3 (07:56):
Today she's still at her friend's house. And today the
text was knocking more it was here's today's schedule, and
then she proceeded to tell me what she's doing today.
There was no can I mother, may I wow?

Speaker 4 (08:09):
Wow?

Speaker 2 (08:09):
Little g has come a long way.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
More Mario Lopez on the way, Al.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
Mario Lopez, keeping the music in fun, coming your ways.
We fire up zoom so we can chat with actress,
singer and podcaster Jana Kramer. Busier than ever, a new
Lifetime movie premiere in this weekend, still doing her Wine
Down podcast and a Mama three, so lots of talk about.
When Jana joins us after the top of the hour,

(08:42):
sober a Mario Lopez joining me right now. Actress and
country singer, My girl, Jana Kramer, what's going on, Janna,
nice to see you. You look great as always. I
was just talking about, uh, your cute little boy, where
all your kids are cute, but the little guy is
just the I love little chunky babies.

Speaker 4 (09:00):
How old is he? Now?

Speaker 2 (09:00):
What's he coming in at?

Speaker 7 (09:01):
So he is eighteen months old? Yeah, he's going to
be two in November. And it's just it's going by.
I know they always say like he goes by so fast,
but I mean this is like flying by, and he is.
He is so much just boy energy, climbing on everything.
I mean, he's our little menace.

Speaker 4 (09:18):
I love it. I love it.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
I got a menace myself. That's awesome. All right, Jana
hank tight gonna play a few more songs and we
have more, but Janna Creamer. Al Mario Lopez got Jane
Kramer on Zoom with us, and let's talk about your
new movie on Lifetime, which premiere is this Saturday. Kidnapped
by a killer, the Heather Robinson's story. It looks it
looks intense, obviously and based on true events. When did

(09:40):
it take place?

Speaker 7 (09:42):
Oh, my goodness, back in like the eighties. Okay, yeah,
so a long time ago. I mean not too long ago,
but yeah, so a while back. But it was it
was crazy. It was one of those where I was
reading the scripts and I'm like, this cannot be real, Like,
there's no way this is the this is a true story,
and I had no lifetime loves to do the rip

(10:02):
from the headline stories. But I mean, still version cliffe
note version is he Steve Guttenberg's character is just a
complete con man and murder and he murders a woman
and that baby he gives to his brother, says he's
got this like adoption agency gives and gives the baby

(10:24):
to the brother like I found this baby. I work
in this adoption agency and yeah, isn't that. And so
then this girl grows up being like who is you
know it kind of starts piecing things together and finds
out that her uncle is actually the one who killed
her mom.

Speaker 2 (10:42):
Wow that's wild.

Speaker 7 (10:44):
Yeah, and then this day they still don't know like
where her remains are and stuff, which is just it's
so it's like so sad and her story is I mean,
it's crazy, but I'm you know, obviously for her to
for Heather Robinson to tell her story and be so
brave and it's you know that that pieces the part
that I love like for women to like sure take
power back in it.

Speaker 4 (11:05):
Well.

Speaker 2 (11:05):
Kidnap by a Killer The Heather Robinson Story premieres on
Lifetime this weekend. Aldimorean dot Com for a preview. We're
gonna have more with Janet coming up after a quick break.

Speaker 1 (11:13):
More fun on the way on with Mario Lopez.

Speaker 2 (11:16):
Getting back to Jane Kramer, who was hanging out on
Zoom with us this hour. You're on with Mario Lopez.
New Lifetime movie is Kidnapped by a Killer And you
play one of the detectives, right, the.

Speaker 7 (11:25):
Detective who just has that gut feeling that like she
knows something is off with this man, and she, this
detective through the years, is just like, no, he will
do this again, Like you have to keep him in prison,
and like he's gonna and of course that he gets
out and he kills somebody else again, and so she's
just like fights her entire career to keep this man
out of you know, to keep him in prison because

(11:47):
he's gonna get going. But like he just trying to
catch him was was a moss game.

Speaker 2 (11:51):
I love those kind of stories. We'll congrats on that.

Speaker 4 (11:53):
Hang tight.

Speaker 2 (11:54):
We're gonna have more with Jana Kramer on the way
first and more music. Catch you know with Jana Kramer
this hour. Mario Lopez here and can you tell me
about this? I saw on your ig that you're teasing
a new project with Haley duff Is.

Speaker 7 (12:06):
Oh my goodness. We just i mean filmed the most
beautiful and she her brain is, I mean, she's so
talented actress and I've never worked with her on the
directing side, but her brain is so just like she's like,
I want this shot and she's like and she gets it,
Like she's just like, she's great and we had so

(12:27):
much fun. It's almost like the Notebook Meets Meets like
a horse, you know, It's like it's like it's a
horse movie, but it's a lot of like notebook threads
And yeah, yeah, does it have a title?

Speaker 3 (12:41):
It is?

Speaker 7 (12:41):
It's a working title at the moment.

Speaker 2 (12:43):
Okay, yeah, okay, Well congrats on that, all right, Jenna
Hague Tight a few more songs. We want to come
back and talk a little podcasting with Janna Cramer, al
Mario Lopez, actress and singer Janet Kramer on Zoom Busier
than ever, a new Lifetime movie this weekend. And you
also have a weekly podcast, Why Down with Janet Kramer,
and in the latest episode, revealed you got an offer

(13:05):
for a movie role with some Academy Award nominees. Right
did you end up taking it or what was it?
Can you discuss it?

Speaker 7 (13:10):
I didn't take it and no, and I can't say
who I don't because I kind of it's not that
I would never talk well, you know, but it wasn't
like a finished script. It was kind of chaotic. But
I'm doing another movie. I just got an offer for.
It's a beautiful film that we're filming in Nashville, which
is going to be great. So it's just I kind
of had to look at all the pieces and go,

(13:31):
you know, as a parent of three, I need things
a little bit more. I need more than like three
days notice. Yeah, for an unfinished And having said that,
this movie I found out. I landed in the Bahamas
with my husband. We were on a little getaway. I
landed I got the offer for this movie, and then
the next day we flew out of the Bahamas to
go film the movie. But it was a finished script.

(13:52):
So that's like a little different.

Speaker 2 (13:53):
You know, I wasn't finished fun all right, one more
thing I want to ask, so I hank tight back
to wrap it up with Jen after a quick break.

Speaker 1 (14:00):
The full interview now on with Mario dug More Mario
Lopez on the way.

Speaker 2 (14:05):
We're wrapping up with Janna Kramer, your own Mario Lopez
and Jenny. Earlier, you mentioned your husband and I know
you live in Nashville. Is he in this line of worker.

Speaker 7 (14:14):
No, he is a professional soccer coach. He's played for
years in Scotland. He's Scottish and he's he's wonderful, but
he's a he's a coach. And he said he always
kind of wanted to dabble in acting. He took like
one Ivana Chubbick thing when he was out playing.

Speaker 2 (14:29):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I haven't heard that even a long time.
That's cool.

Speaker 7 (14:34):
Yeah, so maybe one day, you know, well he'll if
there's a role for a Scotsman because his American accent
is as bad as my Scottish accent.

Speaker 2 (14:41):
So Scottish accent is a cool one. What about what
about music? Is that still a focus here?

Speaker 7 (14:47):
So me and Jesse Decker may have just teased something.

Speaker 2 (14:51):
I saw you guys in your daisy dukes out there.

Speaker 7 (14:54):
Yeah, so maybe something's coming.

Speaker 2 (14:56):
So okay, all right, good for you, good for you.

Speaker 7 (14:59):
Nice just just doing the thing, all right.

Speaker 2 (15:03):
We'll have to come back and talk about that.

Speaker 7 (15:04):
Well.

Speaker 2 (15:05):
Meanwhile, everyone be sure to catch jan in the new
Lifetime movie Kidnapped by a Killer, which premiere Saturday night
at eight seventh Central. Chat.

Speaker 7 (15:13):

Speaker 2 (15:18):
Music rolls on as we get ready for a fake
debate Mario Courtney Lopez yours. So why you choose your side,
Team Mario or Team Quarto. Let's quickly squeeze in today's
obscure holiday. What are we celebrating today? Annie?

Speaker 3 (15:29):
It is National donut Day.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
Ooh, shout out to the old school glazed donut. I
love me just a good old fashioned glazed donut. Sometimes
chocolate glaze is good too, But anything else it's too
much for me personally. You like the sprinkle once, huh?

Speaker 3 (15:46):
I love anything. I would put sprinkles on my past stuff.

Speaker 2 (15:49):
I could, oh on, Mario Courtney Lopez. Time for a
weekly fake debate where the topics are made upon the spot.
But the passion is real, all right, Fraser, who's gonna
be pros and begun?

Speaker 4 (16:00):
I think Courtney was pro last week, so she'll be con.
You'll be pro.

Speaker 2 (16:04):
I'm gonna pro.

Speaker 5 (16:05):
You'll have fifteen seconds to make your case in second
rebuttal It depends on the topic, doesn't it.

Speaker 4 (16:10):
Your topic today is a Baker's dozen.

Speaker 2 (16:14):
I'm pro a Baker's doesn't.

Speaker 4 (16:15):
Yes, and she's against a Baker's dozen.

Speaker 2 (16:18):
So when one has a Baker's dozen? And coincidentally, today
is National Donut Day. So if I'm showing up with
twelve donuts, who's not going to be happy? I'm spreading love.
I'm spreading joy. You can keep one for yourself, maybe two,
and everyone else still gets to partake.

Speaker 4 (16:33):
Sorr, I'm trying to find my buzzer.

Speaker 3 (16:36):
Do you know what a Baker's doesn't is?

Speaker 4 (16:38):
Yeah? Twelve?

Speaker 3 (16:39):
No, a Baker's doesn't is thirteen?

Speaker 2 (16:43):
Is that what it is?

Speaker 4 (16:43):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (16:44):
I think.

Speaker 4 (16:46):
Your time.

Speaker 3 (16:47):
I think it's ridiculous. How did I not know that
a baker.

Speaker 1 (16:51):
You guys know that?

Speaker 3 (16:52):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (16:52):
Yeah, he cares it. For that reason, you can't count.

Speaker 3 (16:56):
See, I wouldn't trust a baker.

Speaker 2 (16:57):
I told you I can't count.

Speaker 4 (16:58):
He knows that, mister Lopez. Now that you know what
a Baker's does and is.

Speaker 2 (17:03):
Now I'm bigger fans. You get even an extra one
with the Baker's donuts, a bonus a bonus donut in
this case?

Speaker 4 (17:10):
Are you kidding me?

Speaker 2 (17:11):
I'm all about the Bakers And how did I not
know that was not thirteen one?

Speaker 3 (17:13):
The bonus donut is not like the bonus jonas. We
don't care. It's stupid.

Speaker 4 (17:20):
There you go, let us know how you think.

Speaker 5 (17:21):
One.

Speaker 2 (17:21):
How did I not know that?

Speaker 1 (17:23):
Mario Lopez will be right back.
