Speaker 3 (00:20):
I'll turn it up.
Speaker 2 (00:20):
You're on with Mario Lopez.
Speaker 3 (00:24):
You're a Mario Lopez.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
More music headed your way shortly, but first, Fraser is
gonna break down a few of the new.
Speaker 4 (00:28):
Things on TV and streaming Apple TV as a series
premiere of Mister Scorsese, a documentary series directed by Rebecca
Miller that provides an intimate look at the life and
career of the famous filmmaker.
Speaker 3 (00:39):
Ooh, I'm watching this.
Speaker 2 (00:40):
I cannot wait. Love me some Martin Scorsese, and that's
gonna be a muss watch. He has gone through a lot,
like battled with drugs, hated boxing and gangster films, and
he made Raging Bull Good Fellows.
Speaker 3 (00:53):
Which is ironic.
Speaker 4 (00:54):
The guest don't paramount Plus series premiere of that It
follows working class cleaner Rhea and her wealthy employer, whose intense,
obsessive relationship develops into a dangerous game of cat and
mouse after a shocking event. Oh, I like the premise,
and CBS has the series premiere of two new shows,
Sheriff Country and Boston Blue, as well as kicking off
a new season of Fire Country.
Speaker 2 (01:15):
I got a lot of country going on CBS loves
a franchise ncis Dude Country.
Speaker 4 (01:21):
Then again over on NBC Chicago, they got all the
Chicago emergency services.
Speaker 2 (01:25):
That is true.
Speaker 3 (01:27):
You're on Mario Lopez.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
Let you know that iHeartRadio has your chance to see
Kelsey Ballerini in Australia. You and a friend will fly

Mario on the iHeartRadio app Tap the contest tab and
enter to win. Good luck a Mario Lopez. You know
they used to say that forty was over the hill.
I can't believe I used to see cards like that
all the time. Well, I'm not saying it anymore. New
research says that it turns out we might actually reach
our mental and emotional peak around the age of sixty.
Speaker 3 (02:13):
I still got some time.
Speaker 2 (02:15):
Researchers found that while physical strength declines after the mid twenties,
and I don't know if I necessarily agree with that,
By the way, I think maybe you're not as twitchy.
Speaker 3 (02:24):
Yeah, but you get what's called that old.
Speaker 2 (02:26):
Man strength as you get older. And that's serious anyway. Intelligence, personality,
emotional intelligence, and decision making continue improving, reaching a peak
around sixty. Huh okay, but I don't want to start
declining after a sixty. I think you can be sharp?
Speaker 3 (02:42):
Is the new over the hill?
Speaker 2 (02:44):
Fair enough?
Speaker 1 (02:45):
More Mario Lopez coming up?
Speaker 2 (02:48):
What a Mario Lopez here? Might want to set a
reminder to check out SNL this weekend. Sabrina Carpenter is
set to do double duty. Promos just dropped showing her
channeling her inner Carrie Bradshaw. She walks into the SNL offices,
narrating the action in her head, and then finally sits
down at the laptop to type her end of day thoughts.
Second time performing on the show for Sabrina, but first
(03:08):
time hosting. So check it out NBC tomorrow night. All
right out Oli Mario on Facebook and XS out al
Mario Lopez on IG Mario Lopez Here, love hearing from you, questions, comments,
random thoughts, whatever you got. Back to see what Fraser
found or mentioned next.
Speaker 3 (03:23):
But first more music.
Speaker 2 (03:26):
ERYLD Mario Lopez and you know we love hearing from
you guys on social media with your questions, comments, hot takes,
whatever you got. Find us on Instagram at on with
Mario Lopez or over on x at on with Mario
and I believe we have some people weighing in on
yesterday's list of varieties top one hundred horror films of
all time.
Speaker 4 (03:43):
Correct, Fraser, Yes, a lot of people not happy with
that list, as we weren't either, really because they threw
in some thrillers and stuff from at spring monorail. I'm
questioning this variety list. They have human centipede on it,
and that's one of the worst movies I've ever seen.
Speaker 2 (03:58):
I've never heard of Human Centipede. It sounds awesome.
Speaker 4 (04:00):
Well, it didn't make the top twenty, so we didn't
talk about it yesterday at Prince Nebula. I think the
variety list is pretty solid overall. The order makes no
sense though, in my opinion, Well.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
They did have good movies. They had a lot of solid,
really good movies. It's just do they fall under the
category of horror? Well, yeah, and the bait we had.
Speaker 3 (04:16):
And I think you also mentioned like Halloween was like
seventeen or something. It was like that should have been
higher up.
Speaker 4 (04:20):
Probably exactly from at Nate Garro, the Nightmare on Elm
Street being at seventy four and not in the top
ten is a crime.
Speaker 2 (04:28):
I agree, Nate Garro, that's ridiculous. Really, it's a classic
Freddy Krueger. Come on.
Speaker 4 (04:32):
From at jelly Rolls twenty one, Do you guys remember
the horror comedy creep Show. That's classic eighty cinema but
not on the list, though yes, I.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
Do remember creep Show. Wow, that's a good one. Jelly
Rolls twenty one.
Speaker 4 (04:43):
And took me back from at producer Nichols Lopez, did
you know Fraser is in a horror film. It's called
The Greenskeeper and he stars alongside John Rocker and Ron Lester.
It's available on Amazon to stream for two ninety nine,
which is way too much money to spend for.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
That was that shot in Atlanta.
Speaker 4 (04:58):
It was then the early two thousand John rock after
John Rocker was out of baseball.
Speaker 1 (05:03):

Speaker 2 (05:34):
Hey, it feels like yesterday we celebrated National Pastaday. I
love who doesn't love pasta?
Speaker 1 (05:39):
Like?
Speaker 2 (05:39):
Let's be seriously, let's be real. Shout out to the
PARPA del the big flat noodle.
Speaker 4 (05:45):
Shout out, Orzo, it looks like Rice, but it's good,
Orzo Israel, It's amazing, or is really good.
Speaker 2 (05:50):
It doesn't look exactly like Rice and the old school
shells because it really carries the sauce. Well, all right,
time to celebrate some October seventeenth birthdays here old Mario Lopez,
as we always do. Fraser's gonna tell us who's turning
a year older, and I'm gonna try to guess the ages.
Speaker 5 (06:06):
Eminem slim Shady is fifty four fifty three close one
of his enemies from back in the day, Chris Kirkpatrick
from in Sync.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
He could get its kicked out. Yeah, remember correctly. I
don't think he's too far behind, but I'm gonna say

some ner on he has, like a nerve disease or
something that he revealed like a year ago.

go bad as a matter of fact, and I'm not
making this up. You can google it. Cheese In Italy,
it's considered a delicacy when it gets so bad that
it gets maggots.

the black phone, and she's disturbing visions of three boys
being stalked at a winter camp. And then all kinds
of crazy stuff happens.
Speaker 2 (08:55):
Yes, I just had the young lady her name, first
name escapes me something McGrath. Violet McGraw's sister, Violet MacGrath
is the one that plays Megan.
Speaker 3 (09:05):
Oh and her sister Oh. So it's in their family.
It's in their family. They're both like, horror queen, Is
that what you want your family to be known for? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (09:11):
Nice little girls too, good.
Speaker 4 (09:13):
Fortune, Seth Rogen Aziz and Sorry Sandra O. Keanu Reeves
a well meaning but inept angel named Gabriel medals in
the lives of struggling of a struggling gig worker and
a wealthy venture capitalist.
Speaker 2 (09:25):
Yes, Aziz and Tzari I believe wrote may have directed this,
and it's got sort of a body switch element to it.
Speaker 3 (09:32):
Keanu is playing the angel correct. Keanu is the age
that makes sense And if I had legs, I'd kick you.
Speaker 2 (09:36):
I like that title.
Speaker 4 (09:37):
Rosebyrn Conor O'Brien asap Rocky. With her life crashing down
around her, Linda tries to navigate her daughter's mysterious illness,

or On with Mario Interviews podcast has my full conversations
when everyone stops by on Mario dot com for those
And speaking of podcasts, one of my favorite actors, Jason Bateman,
(10:15):
did an episode of Subway Takes and had a really
interesting take on dogs.
Speaker 3 (10:19):
So what's your take.
Speaker 6 (10:20):
Dogs should have to wear shoes? You was disgusted by
them just tracking around the sidewalk the roads, and they
come into your house, they get on your bed, they're
kissing your face after they've been kissing. I don't understand
why they get a pass on that. And then like
they sit on your pillow and then you're sleeping on
(10:41):
that pillow.
Speaker 2 (10:42):
And you know what Bateman is one hundred percent correct.
It makes total sense. And the irony is most people
that make you take off your shoes as you enter
their home have no problem let their dogs go outside,
come right in, jump in their bed, and be all
over meanwhile, dogs are stepping on their pee in their pooh.
Speaker 3 (10:58):
I agree with that. I agree with him. I don't
agree with.
Speaker 4 (11:01):
The shoe part instead of that, I literally I kid
you not. When I take my dogs out because we
live in La which is a gross city. Yes, I
take my dogs out of ringment, I wipe their feet off.
Speaker 2 (11:09):
Yeah, that's the thing we have to We need wet
wipes for that for the dogs.
Speaker 3 (11:14):
Oh, Mario Lopez dog feet. Oh, I like that. I
like that.
Speaker 1 (11:17):
Yes, Mario Lopez will be right back.

here on Mario Lopez going to honor the comment of
the week and just about thirty five minutes just help. Plus,
you gotta dig into the buzz and see what's trending
in a bit as well, and are you afraid of
the dark? The number of people who are might surprise you.
I'm I tell you about that next first, more music though,
almar A Lopez with Halloween just around the corner, definitely
the worst time of year for anyone who is afraid
(12:06):
of the dark, and it turns out it's about thirty
percent of people here in the United States. Three inten
adults say yes, they're legitimately afraid of the dark, and
men are more likely to be afraid than women. One
and four people admit to still sleeping with a night
light on. Now here's the deal. It's funny because when
I go to bed, I think I've said many times
I want it really cold, and I need it really dark,
(12:27):
like hotel room dark. Yes, however not pitch dark to
where I can't see anything anything. I have to have
a speck of light somewhere somewhere. When it is blackout
dark and you cannot see anything, it does trip me
out a little bit. I need, like the to how
big of a light like I'm talking like the like
like a pin light, like a pin light or just something.
Speaker 3 (12:48):
Does that make sense? Because it trips me out.
Speaker 2 (12:50):
I need a pin light because it's inevitable that I
will use the restaurant at some point in middle of the night.
Speaker 3 (12:54):
You don't on a trip.
Speaker 4 (12:55):
I gotta have a direction. You don't shuffle your feet anymore.
Speaker 2 (12:58):
I've never shoveled my feet. My wife started that. But
I need a little just a little not as bright
as a phone.
Speaker 3 (13:06):
Yeah, yeah, but you know when you just a little something.
Speaker 2 (13:08):
Yeah, just a little something like like an indicator light, like.
Speaker 3 (13:12):
A light on a on alarm. Oh okay, like something.
Speaker 2 (13:14):
I need something but dark, but a little something dimmed.
Does that make sense?
Speaker 3 (13:19):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (13:20):
More. Mario Lopez coming up, all.
Speaker 2 (13:23):

And Kim Kardashian details the unsettling final straw in her
marriage to Kanye West.

up to it. Amar dot Com for all.

the beginning, like January was nine months long? Yeah, but January,
yeah exactly.

January started off bad here the fires and the whole deal.
That was rough, But to think that we're kind of
