(01:50):
live pack. What is the topic today at Courtney's Corner?

Speaker 3 (01:53):
Snack packs Snack packs snack packs will normal ziploc bag
is usually too big to fill for snacks for the
kid's launch box, says, although they do come in snack
sizes different sizes now, But if you don't have those
small and tire's a trick to save space and resources.
So you heat a knife, you know, on the stove
for a few seconds, cut the entire Ziploc bag down
the middle. The hot knife will seal the plastic, leaving

(02:16):
you with two smaller bags and those are the perfect
size for the kids snacks if you don't already have
the smaller bags.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
I saw this video of someone doing this hack of
yours on ig and it looked like it worked perfectly.
I'm like, oh, that's pretty clever. It was very satisfying
to watch. It was very satisfying to watch. I want
to go try it when we got home today.

Speaker 3 (02:38):
It's nothing like watching melting plastics.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
More. Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
Mario Lopez here, we got something cool coming your way
tomorrow for new Music Friday. It's a new single from
Bruno Mars. This time he's teamed up with Rose from
Black Pink. Song is called apt We're going to be
playing it throughout the day. Make sure you're one of
the first to hear itez here we find something to
celebrate every day. What is today's holiday, honey? In October seventeen, Oh.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
God, it's every day for me. It's National Pasta Day.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
They oh think about pasta.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
It's amazing. What do you mean.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
I'm gonna tell you.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
If you're starting to say something negative and I don't
like it.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
Well I'm about to I'm about to tell you it's
absolutely amazing. But it's one of those things you should
maybe not try to have every day because there'll be
a lot more of you to love because it does
put on the lbs if you don't watch the intake.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
What about moderation, moderation, That's what.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
I'm saying today, go crazy. It's National Pastaday. I'm just
saying moderation. Cafe Monorado or whatever it is. Yes, we
went to that place in Vegas and I think Lopez
literally ordered everything off the menu and it was amazing
and it was unreal. Yep, you're a Mark Courney Lopez.
Top of your comments, would you find honey?

Speaker 3 (03:52):
This is from at Karma Like Water And they said
street Duck is no joke. But what's up with the carnita?

Speaker 4 (03:58):
Is?

Speaker 2 (03:58):
Is it crispy or ooh? Karma Like Water is referring
to a video I posted regarding a food review that
I've done. I've been doing these food reviews trying to
support these businesses here in La and I went to
this place called CaCO Mexico tessen. Oh my gosh, these
last few places have just been fire. This was on real.

(04:20):
I had duck garnitas tacos for ew nothing, It's more
like eow. It's so good.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
Duck is an underrated bird. It is incredibly tasty. It
should be celebrated much like the chicken should be every day.
But I think there a little price here because it's
dark meat. It's really juicy. It's more expensive. Oh my gosh,
but it is so good. And this place just went
next level. And the reason it was garnitas. Garnitas is
usually pork because it was shredded and it was in
this juice. But man, it just I could have had

(04:50):
like eight of them just right there and dark eight
well eight tacos maybe one that would be maybe one duck.
I'm a selling putting on the size of the duck,
but do not underestimate a duck. And ever had it, well,
was it chewy or crispy? It was definitely soft. Okay,
it was definitely soft.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
It's chewie.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
It was a party in your mouth.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
More.

Speaker 5 (08:03):
What's up man? How are you feeling?

Speaker 2 (08:04):
I'm feeling well. It's nice to see you. I was
trying to think of the year when I saw you.
My gosh and you had come on. Did we work
together or were you working on an Nexu's show of Mine?
I can't remember. Did you do Eve? What show do we?

Speaker 4 (08:19):
Yeah? Yeah, boyfriend like three years and we also played
boyfriend girlfriend in Barbershop?

Speaker 5 (08:26):
But yeah, you were you were the Ali Landry.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
That's right, good memory right there.

Speaker 5 (08:30):
Time?

Speaker 2 (08:30):
What year was that?

Speaker 5 (08:32):
That was? Wow? You know what?

Speaker 4 (08:34):
My oldest son was born right after the first.

Speaker 5 (08:37):
Season of that show.

Speaker 2 (08:38):
And that was your son.

Speaker 4 (08:39):
That was like twenty one years ago. Twenty Hey, yeh,
we've been in the game of a minute, dude, be
in the game.

Speaker 2 (08:45):
Hey you look the same too, player. That's crazy man. Well, thanks, Claire,
I want to talk about Gray's anatomy, but we've got
to take a quick break. Gotta come back with Jason
George in just a moment.

Speaker 1 (08:55):
Maria Lopez will be right back.

Speaker 2 (08:57):
Mario Lopez here and I was actor Jason Joy Origin.
You've been staying busy. It's great to see you. I
know you're You're back on the main cast of Grays
after seven seasons on Station nineteen. Was it a surprise
return or was it something that's been in works.

Speaker 4 (09:13):
Look, we found out that nineteen was going to be
coming to an end, and we were you know, and
of course you're disappointed whatever it show ends, because you know,
you always want a job, but all just because we
thought there was plenty of story to still tell, a
lot creative than to do. But it was one of
those things where I was like, Okay, yes, I'm about
to get out there and start hitting the bricks again.

Speaker 5 (09:28):
See, you know, look for my next job.

Speaker 4 (09:29):
Yeah, And partner was looking forward to that because I've
been playing Ben for a minute and I love playing
Ben and I love this relationship between Ben and Bailey.
But I was kind of ready to get out there
and then they said, hey, you want to come back
over here to Grays And I was like.

Speaker 5 (09:43):
That's better.

Speaker 4 (09:45):
It was like, having a job is much better than
looking for a job, and you talked about it and
there was still good story to tell with Ben, plenty
of good story to tell in the Ben and Bailey relationship.

Speaker 5 (09:56):
So I was like it made sense. So suddenly I
was like, I went from.

Speaker 4 (10:02):
Having a job to not having a job to having
a job in a span of just a few days.

Speaker 5 (10:08):
And so I was, uh, you know, it was a
roller coaster for a second.

Speaker 2 (10:12):
Yeah, Oh that's that's beautiful to hear right there. Well,
Gray's Anatomy airs Thursdays on ABC. Hang on, Jason, gotta
play more music. Mario Lopez here. My guest today is
after Jason George from Grey's Anatomy And Jason, what do
you think it is about Grays in particular as opposed
to other shows or medical procedures and what have you
that allowed it to to I guess be embraced by

(10:34):
audiences after all these seasons. What is it like twenty
twenty one something like that?

Speaker 5 (10:38):
This is season twenty one, dude, that's wild.

Speaker 4 (10:40):
The base of the blessing in ways I can't even count.
But you know, you know what I thought about it,
And I think, look, if I tell you that I'm
I'm starting this new thing. I got to learn all
this information. So it feels like I'm drinking from a
fire hose all the time. I feel like I'm failing.
I haven't found my people yet. I'm trying to figure
out who's there to support me. I'm trying to find

(11:02):
love in the process. You know, am I talking about
somebody at medical school? Am I talking about a freshman
in high school? Am I talking about somebody starting a
new job? All that stuff is relatable. And that's that's
what the show is all about. Is that struggle and
you know, the triumphs when you make it, and the
you know, and in trying to find some people.

Speaker 5 (11:22):
To help you, you know, help you get over it
when you fail.

Speaker 2 (11:26):
Well, it's working. It's working. God blessed me.

Speaker 5 (11:28):
No twenty one seasons, man, hey.

Speaker 2 (11:30):
Man, Hopefully more in the future, all right, hank Ty

Speaker 4 (11:53):
We've been back a few times and the kids have
gone a couple three times, you know a buton Mines Musician,
we went on tour with them, Our family.

Speaker 5 (11:59):
Took our families on tour of them. But this time
we went back and just put.

Speaker 4 (12:03):
The holla out to a whole bunch of different people,
just say, hey, we're gonna be in these cities on
these dates.

Speaker 5 (12:08):
If you're gonna be anywhere, Natali come through.

Speaker 4 (12:11):
On the actual anniversary, our anniversary July tenth, we're doing
a dinner Lake Guarda, Italy, and we had something like
twenty three twenty five people rolled through and I had
a big dinner on the lake and it was it
was absolutely gorgeous.

Speaker 5 (12:26):
It was you know, everybody, it was just fun.

Speaker 4 (12:28):
You know, family from Station nineteen came through a bunch
of other friends from other shows, and uh, and then
folks that we've known for our entire lives.

Speaker 5 (12:38):
Came through, and you know, and the kids, you know,
so they got to the they know what.

Speaker 4 (12:43):
We love traveling. But it's different when you're seeing folks
you used to see him back in that leg, right,
it brings a whole different place to it. And so
it was it was a party. It was a it
was a rolling festival through Italy for a couple of weeks.

Speaker 2 (12:56):
That sounds awesome. That's impressive. They all went out there
to support. That's really cool. I ask about the kids.
But we got to take a quick break and wrap
it up with Jason George in just a moment.

Speaker 1 (13:04):
You're the full interview now at on with Mario dot com.
More Mario Lopez on the Way.

Speaker 2 (13:09):
Mario Lopez here wrapping things up with actor Jason George.
And how many kids you got? You got like three?

Speaker 5 (13:14):
Right? I got three kids.

Speaker 4 (13:15):
I got a twenty year old son, and I got
twins boy girl twins that are sixteen years old driving.
So I'm uh, it's like the it's like the gateway
drug to empty nest syndrome. Suddenly they're driving themselves around
and I got I've used to know everything that was
going on, and I know nothing.

Speaker 5 (13:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (13:34):
Oh man, I got three kids myself, and I'm behind
you though they're they're a lot younger. I got a
bit of a later, later start. But it does go
by fast, man, It does go by fast, right, but
not of course?

Speaker 5 (13:46):
How old are yours?

Speaker 2 (13:47):
Just turned? Fourteen? Eleven and five?

Speaker 5 (13:51):
Fourteen and eleven five? Oh wow?

Speaker 4 (13:53):
So you're right in and you're like starting to starting
to think about Dayton, starting to have crushes.

Speaker 2 (14:02):
Yeah, yeah, they just be thinking about it.

Speaker 4 (14:06):
Be ready, man, you know I've been ready to threaten
kids for a minute. Yeah, I'm like, look at what

Speaker 5 (14:11):
Yeah? Watch your hands, kid, watch your hands.

Hoory Lopez with a quick reminder that you can steal
catch up on this Here is iHeartRadio music. Festival, Epic
weekend performances from Dualipa, Gwen Stefani, Camilika, Bao, New Kids,
so many more. All the highlights now streaming on Hulu.
But at the end of the month, it all goes away,
So watch it now, Amar Courtney Lopez. But on your
thinking caps, it's time for Courtney's random question. What you

(14:53):
got honey?

Speaker 3 (14:53):
All right? So if an alien landed in your yard,
this is for you, knuckles, Where's knuckles? With absolutely no
knowledge of Earth, how would you explain who you are?

Speaker 2 (15:03):
I'm a celebrity. Get out of the way.

Speaker 1 (15:05):
I was.

Speaker 3 (15:07):
Just gonna say, will you tell them you have a star.

Speaker 2 (15:10):
On the walk with the star on the Walk of Fame,
I would immediately say, welcome, I am your leader. Just
declare it. Just declare it, and then have enough confidence
it's exactly right. The alien will believe me because I
will say with conviction. And then now I've got myself
a pet alien. Poor Mario Lopez, Mark Courtney Lopez. I'm

(15:33):
not for one last thing. Actress Jamie Lynn Siegler, old
school metal soprano, is trying a diet that I've never
heard of, a whole milk cleanse for eight days, she's
drinking nothing but milk, She says. The idea is that
it resets the bacteria in your gut, which apparently responds
well to darry. You know, she may be onto something,
because when a baby is first born, we're essentially giving

(15:57):
the baby nothing but milk.

Speaker 3 (15:58):
Maybe we're strengthening the stomach.

Speaker 2 (16:01):
And maybe resetting the bacteria that could possibly be developing.
So does that include cereal? Can you throw cereal in there?
Is it just pure? I don't think you can add that.

Speaker 5 (16:11):
No cereal?

Speaker 3 (16:13):
Do you know what? I'll raise her one and drink
it from a bottle.

Speaker 2 (16:17):
Oh hey, I.

Speaker 1 (16:18):
Like that more with Mario Lopez. After this, It's.

Speaker 2 (16:21):
Time for me to punch out. But I'm back tomorrow.
The first we had everything new coming to theaters and streaming,
plus actress Jackie Cruz from the new Lifetime movie Husband
Father Killer. Until then, Mario Lopez saying good night
