at nineteen ninety three. You're on with Mario Lopez. Mario,
Courtney Lopez. You're treating every day like a holiday. What
(00:25):
are we celebrating today, honey?
Speaker 3 (00:26):
It is National tooth Fairy Day.
Speaker 2 (00:29):
A tooth fairy hasn't paid us a visit in a while.
Because I believe our daughter Gsteth. They're all they're all in.
You're an adult, they've got braces and Nico's are all in.
Speaker 4 (00:40):
Real, No, they are not. Still has something, so I
think they'll be pulling them.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
They'll be pulling them.
Speaker 5 (00:46):
Okay, you do that with Geo wants with like a
door or something in a string.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
No, like I literally pulled them. She's talking about the
Dennis is gonna.
Speaker 4 (00:53):
Have because they're just taking too long.
Speaker 5 (00:55):
To really so that. Yeah, will the other ones come in?
Speaker 2 (00:58):
Yes, the other ones will come in, but they won't
come in quick at this time. Santino is going to
have some coming out.
Speaker 3 (01:04):
Yeah, we're about to start that, so I'll have to
be doing slick mode. I have so many teeth at
home just lying around.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
Great, that's crazy. Happy Halloween, ya, Maril Courtney Lopez. Let's
take a look at what's on TV today.
Speaker 3 (01:18):
Amazon premier is Classified. Ella is a rebellious teenager whose
life in Oakland is uprooted when she's forced to move
in with her father in South Africa.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
Oh that's a culture shock.
Speaker 3 (01:28):
Netflix has season three of That ninety show. Leah is
ready to take the relationship to the next level, but
Jay isn't picking up on the signs.
Speaker 2 (01:37):
Come on, Jay, you gotta pick up them signs.
Speaker 3 (01:39):
Hulu has season two of Reasonable Doubt. Jax receives terrible
news from a close friend, forcing her to return to work.
Speaker 4 (01:46):
Sooner than expected.
Speaker 3 (01:47):
That's awful and causing her to feel pressure from all sides.
Speaker 2 (01:51):
Ooh sounds pretty reasonable to me, yo, Marl Courtney Lopez.
Time to learn a life hack. What is the topic
today at Courty's Corner?
Speaker 4 (02:00):
Many cinnamon rolls. I love a cinnamon rolls.
Speaker 2 (02:03):
Especially a mini one because it's not too much and
it's just hitting right and you can eat like six
of them.
Speaker 4 (02:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:09):
Well I learned this from social media. So you take
slices of white bread and you cut the crust off
in one continuous piece. Now roll the crust up into
a circle and place them into a pan of melted butter.
Once they are golden, you flip them over and then
you cover in cinnamon sugar, and if you want to
go next level, add powdered sugar to the leftover melted
(02:30):
butter to create a glaze that you can drizzle on
the top.
Speaker 2 (02:34):
Well, you could do that to a piece of cardboard
and it'll taste good.
Speaker 5 (02:37):
We'll try it.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
Yes, next tack more Mario Lopez coming up.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
Mario Courtney Lopez here. I've already seen products at the
grocery store, but it's now official. I can't believe it.
Still August pumpkin spices. Yes, Starbucks started selling PSLs today,
two days earlier than last year. Wow, it's going to
be July and it's going to start advertising.
Speaker 5 (02:58):
Do people really call them PSL?
Speaker 2 (03:00):
I don't even know what I just said. What is
a PSL?
Speaker 5 (03:02):
A pump pumpkins.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
Oh my gosh, you guys are lame.
Speaker 5 (03:05):
You said it.
Speaker 3 (03:07):
Yes, I know, I know what you're reading.
Speaker 4 (03:09):
Oh my god. Well, it's hard to believe.
Speaker 3 (03:10):
It's been twenty one years since the drink was introduced
to the world. About ten percent of Starbucks annual sales
come from the seasonal classic. You know, I love this
season and I get excited when the pumpkin drinks come out.
But I don't order the pumpkin drinks. They're a little
bit too sweet for me. But I love the fact
that they have arrived.
Speaker 2 (03:26):
Pumpkin bread, pumpkin pie.
Speaker 4 (03:28):
That I'm down with.
Speaker 5 (03:31):
Mario Lopez.
Speaker 2 (03:32):
Here we got your first look at the new Ryan
Murphy drama Monsters, The Lyle and Eric Menendez Story. Can't
wait for this. The drama tells the story of the

Speaker 3 (03:59):
This is from at Rick Loves the Eighties, and he said,
happy anniversary. Saved by the Bell premiere thirty five years ago,
this week on NBC with Casey Kasem as a guest star.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
Thirty five years ago. I can't believe it. And I
vividly remember when Casey Caseum was there. He was so
nice and I grew the premiere. It was not the premiere,
but he was, I believe, on the first season. And
I grew up listening to America's Top forty and he
is a legend of course on radio, and I remember
we were talking about the countdown and he said, hey,
(04:31):
your friend from Kids Incorporated, Martika hit number one with
Toy Soldier. I said, oh wow, that's great, thank you.
And then a few days go by and he sent
me a letter and he says, Mario, I was wrong
Martika's song while he went to number two. I just
wanted you to know. And I said, oh, that's cool.
I think I saved that letter too, But how nice
that he took the time he didn't want to be
(04:51):
and he told me about the kid. Right, I'm fifteen,
and it was so cool.
Speaker 4 (04:55):
Here you are sitting in his chair.
Speaker 5 (04:57):
How I run now you have your own countdown.
Speaker 2 (04:59):
That's right, that's right. He's awesome.
Speaker 6 (05:01):
Hit us up on Twitter, On with Mario and hang
on more Mario Lopez on the West.
Speaker 2 (05:07):
You're Mario Courtney Lopez. It's got today's birthday shout outs.
We're gonna try to guess the ages quickly.
Speaker 5 (05:11):
Doah leipa, don't start now, dance tonight.
Speaker 3 (05:15):
She is leaping into her thirty first year.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
No, Dua is barely gonna do thirty one.
Speaker 4 (05:22):
I just said that, is that what you said?
Speaker 2 (05:24):
Thirty first?
Speaker 5 (05:24):
Yeah, and then said the one.
Speaker 7 (05:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (05:27):
I was kidding. She's thirty two, twenty nine. Oh, she
looks great.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
I shouldn't have guessed. Should have guessed?
Speaker 1 (05:34):
Uh?
Speaker 8 (05:34):
From SNL Wonder Woman Too, Bridesmaids Christen Wig also on
Apple TV plus Palm Royal, which I just started watching
and it's hilarious.
Speaker 5 (05:43):
Really, it's very weird. It's like a dramed it's very strange,
but it's good.
Speaker 2 (05:46):
I like Kristin. Remember she gave me a shout out
and the outtakes of Bridesmaid's Right, I'm gonna say Kristin
is thirty eight forty nine fifty one. Well she looks fantastic.
Speaker 4 (05:57):
You're just a suck up.
Speaker 8 (05:58):
That was the payback for the shout out and ty
morell from on her family. Which one's that the dad
Dumphy Phil dumpdofy. I just started watching the show.
Speaker 5 (06:07):
Finally he's good.
Speaker 4 (06:08):
He is fifty three, No.
Speaker 2 (06:10):
He's fifty seven.
Speaker 5 (06:11):
Fifty seven is correcked?
Speaker 9 (06:11):
Hey?
Speaker 1 (06:13):
Or Mario Lopez?
Speaker 5 (06:15):
Wait up?
Speaker 2 (06:15):
Mario Lopez here with a quick reminder about the iHeart
Radio Music Festival. It kicks off in just a little
more than four weeks. I can't say anything just yet,
but here in A big announcement is coming up tomorrow morning.
It's going down September twentieth and twenty first in Vegas.
Just go to olmar dot com to see the full
lineup and get your tickets. What up, It's Mario Lopez
(06:46):
my guest today's fitness guru Jillian Michaels. She is tackling
tough subjects on our podcast Keeping Real. We're gonna find
out what she's talking about after a few more songs.
Speaker 5 (06:55):
It's up.
Speaker 2 (06:55):
You're all Mario Lopez driving on Zoom fitness expert and
best selling author Jilly and Michaels. How are you, Jillian,
I'm great.
Speaker 10 (07:02):
How are you?
Speaker 2 (07:03):
I'm well, it's so nice to see you. You've gone
viral lately for your exodus from California. I'm jealous. How
are you enjoying post California life?
Speaker 10 (07:15):
Honestly, I love it. I love Miami. I still get
the ocean.
Speaker 9 (07:21):
The weather's great, and people just seem to coexist a
bit better there.
Speaker 10 (07:29):
And that might be an understatement.
Speaker 9 (07:32):
It just it's like you got the guy with the
Maga hat living next door, and then you've got the
person with the Biden hairris bumper sticker on the other side,
and they still wave hello in the morning. And I
just need things to feel a bit more normal right now,
and Florida does for me.
Speaker 2 (07:51):
Well, that's the way it should be. We should be
able to have a healthy dialogue and respect each other's differences.
You're exactly right, and I want to talk about your podcast.
Let's take a quick break. I'm gonna come back with
Jillian Michaels in.
Speaker 1 (08:00):
Just a moment, Mario Lopez, We'll be right back.
Speaker 2 (08:04):
Mario Lopez here, I got Jillian Michaels on zoom with me,
and I know on your podcast called Keep It Real.
You're tackling a lot of subjects, some controversial. What have
you been talking about recently?
Speaker 9 (08:15):
Well, the goal here is to have fearless explorations into
subjects health, mostly right because.
Speaker 10 (08:23):
That is my wheelhouse. We kind of get into parenting
stuff because I'm a mom, and.
Speaker 9 (08:29):
You know, some of the lgbt Q stuff going on
because I fall under the acronym. But fearless thoughtful conversations
with mds, PhDs, investigative journalists, thought leaders to explore everything
from what's going on with big food and big pharma lobbyists,
(08:49):
what's going on with vaccines? Like why has a vaccine
schedule gone from twelve shots when you and I were
kids to seventy two? Is there some calls for concern
or is there a safer way to administer these shots?
Doesn't mean I'm antivacs, but moms want to ask these
questions without being labeled an anti vaxxer.
Speaker 10 (09:11):
And a lunatic. It's like, it's insanity.
Speaker 9 (09:14):
These difficult conversations need to be had and people need
to be given the most honest information you could provide
so they can make the choices for themselves.
Speaker 10 (09:23):
But right now, they're not even able to access that.
Speaker 9 (09:25):
I can't tell you how many doctors I've actually tried
to interview and they're like, well, if you talk to me,
your YouTube platform will get shut down and pre COVID.
These were individuals that were arguably some of the most
well respected caoreologists, gas renterrologists.
Speaker 10 (09:42):
And that, to me is just unacceptable.
Speaker 9 (09:44):
It makes me want to hear what they have to
say more than ever so I can make my own choices.
Speaker 10 (09:48):
It's that kind of stuff we're looking.
Speaker 2 (09:50):
Into, absolutely so important and incredibly valid conversations that need
to be had. So good for you, I applaud you
for that. And you can listen to Keeping Real on
iHeartRadio or wherever you get your pods. All right, hold on, Jillian,
you got to play some more music. Mario Lopez here.
My guest today is Jillian Michaels. And aside from your podcast,
I've been hearing some great stuff about your workout app,
(10:11):
the fitness app. Tell me about that.
Speaker 11 (10:13):
Yes, well, this really just allows me to be somebody's
personal trainer. So whether it's in the gym, you tell
me what your fitness goal is, what your fitness level is,
the workout you want to do the time you have,
and then I literally will be there with you, telling
you a machine to go to, how many reps, how
much weight to lift, so you don't have to spend
hundreds of dollars which most people don't have on a
(10:36):
personal train, the cost of an app, which is the
cost of one training session for an entire year.
Speaker 9 (10:42):
It's got customized meal plans, meditations, sleep support, community, all
the things. It's kind of a one stop shop for
anybody who's just looking to be healthier and have their
food and their fitness personalized.
Speaker 1 (10:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (10:55):
Community so important too, to be held accountable. And you
can download Jillian Michaels the fitness app on it or
Google Play. All right, let's get back to music. You're
all mar Lopez rapid things up with today's guess Jillian Michaels,
And what are your thoughts on the whole ozimbic Well
Gaby or whatever it's called the trend?
Speaker 9 (11:12):
You know, Okay, I have had so many debates about this,
and I'm going to end up in one place. This
would be the only time I could ever possibly understand
why it would be prescribed, Because everything in medicine is
going to be a cost benefit analysis, and you need
to have.
Speaker 12 (11:33):
A relationship with your doctor that's looking at your medical history,
your goals for wellness, your financial capability to afford such things,
all these different components, and make a decision that's informed
with a medical professional that knows you very well.
Speaker 9 (11:51):
So, in other words, if you're a person that already
has advanced type two diabetes, you've got let's say KD,
it was kidney disease, you've got heart disease, all these different.
Speaker 10 (12:04):
Things, right, you're in trouble.
Speaker 9 (12:08):
In that case, you might say, well, okay, the cost
benefit analysis.
Speaker 10 (12:11):
Of this drug. I'm already in pretty big trouble.
Speaker 9 (12:14):
My body is already pretty sick, and I've tried everything.
Maybe this will help, you'll twist my arm.
Speaker 10 (12:23):
I would tell you you don't need it. But so
many doctors.
Speaker 9 (12:26):
Are like, we've tried everything, Jill, and you know they're
already sick.
Speaker 10 (12:29):
Okay, maybe.
Speaker 9 (12:31):
But what you also need to understand is that millions
are taking this drug to quote, lose weight, and it
is FDA approved for that, by the way, because people
think it's awfully well, it's not.
Speaker 2 (12:43):
Well.
Speaker 10 (12:43):
Govy is just a higher.
Speaker 9 (12:45):
Dose ironically of semi glue tide for weight loss, whereas
ozembic is the diabetes medication.
Speaker 10 (12:52):
It is semi glue tide in a lower dose, which
is insane. I know, so the.
Speaker 9 (12:58):
People that are arguably healthy but just want to lose
some week at the higher dose of the drug, which
is bananas.
Speaker 10 (13:05):
Like, we have no idea.
Speaker 5 (13:08):
He's think you're.
Speaker 10 (13:08):
Watching the science experiment unfold.
Speaker 2 (13:11):
That's exactly That's exactly what it is, is a science experiment.
You're exactly right, and people want shortcuts and oh my god,
I feel like I could talk to you about this
all day. I think we're so aligned in a lot
of UH and a lot of our UH and a
lot of our thoughts right here. I love I love
the podcast Keeping It Real, and I love what you're
doing on their Jilliat listen. It is so great to
catch up with you. And if you come to LA,
(13:31):
please come to the studio. And I want everyone out
there to check out Jillian's podcast Keeping It Real wherever
you get pods. I'm so sorry I have to joke, Jillian,
but thank you so much for your time. I appreciate it.
Speaker 10 (13:42):
Thank you have a good one. I appreciate you.
Speaker 6 (13:44):
You're the full interview now at On with Mario dot
Com more Mario Lopez on the way.
Speaker 2 (13:49):

in between Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affley, but this was
kind of surprising. Word it is there was no prenup,
so everything from their two years together will be split
down the middle. In that time, Ben start an air
hypnotic and just wrapped up the accountant too. Jennifer had
shot on wedding the mother and what about movies, wah, wah, wah.
(14:14):
I think they're both gonna be fine.
Speaker 3 (14:15):

Nobody knew how old my mother was.
Speaker 8 (15:20):

memoir bits and pieces only from Audible.

the look of as if they were burglars, and his
forefinger of policeman's flashlight.
Speaker 5 (16:06):
Mario Brian Cranston incorrect, Please continue. That's it.
Speaker 2 (16:11):
That's the only clip.
Speaker 4 (16:14):
Sterling K.
Speaker 5 (16:14):
Brown incorrect. JK. Simmons.

Speaker 1 (16:23):
And do some more more fun on the way on
with Mario Lopez.

going to see if we can identify the celebrity who
is talking.
Speaker 5 (16:37):
Wonder one. At the moment, it's one to one. There
are two in this round. Here we go.
Speaker 13 (16:42):
That Veronica and I were given keys and told to
come early on a frozen Saturday in April to open
the school for the our town auditions was proof of
our dull reliability.
Speaker 5 (16:54):
Mario Devra messing incorrect.
Speaker 3 (16:57):
Please continue, This is tough playing.
Speaker 2 (17:00):
No, come on, you don't get a replace.
Speaker 5 (17:02):
Go ahead, guess Courty sore loser. It's Meryl Streep.
Speaker 8 (17:08):
I don't know why that is Meryl Streep narrating the
audiobook Tom Lake by Ann Patchett.
Speaker 5 (17:14):
And Patchet's had quite a few books on. Okay, there
is one more in this round. Hands on, buzzers.
Speaker 7 (17:20):
The first time I met Ivan, I was a homeless puppy.
Speaker 5 (17:24):
That is Corny, the little guy.
Speaker 2 (17:25):
Danny DeVito, Danny DeVito, Dang, that was good, puppy. We
gotta be a little guy.
Speaker 5 (17:34):
Picture. Usually she was singing him.
Speaker 2 (17:36):

There's more to imagine when you listen, just as at
audible dot com. Slash on with Mario y'all, Marrow, Courtney Lopez.
Time now for one last thing. The Case of Lacy
and Scott Peterson has got everyone talking again thanks to
(18:45):
two new docs that are out right now. Netflix has
American Murder Lacy Peterson, which features all the police interviews
and audio recordings, as well as interviews with both Lacey
and Scott's family, and Peacock has Face to Face with
Scott Peterson, which includes interviews with Scott from behind bars.
There was something you saw, honey, prior to watching the
(19:09):
Netflix stock It had you questioning his guilt, And at
one point, when I'm watching the first episode, I paused
it and said, you're making me question everything about you,
and your credibility is now down to zero. If you
think his dude is innocent in the slightest, you and
Frasier both you guys, I think everyone's innocent from making
(19:32):
them the worst, I cannot.
Speaker 5 (19:35):
I don't want you on a jury.
Speaker 2 (19:36):
You'll be letting criminals just roam the streets.
Speaker 5 (19:38):
No, on a jury. I'm vicious.
Speaker 8 (19:41):
On the couch or I I'm watching TV and more
chills go ahead, just real quick.
Speaker 5 (19:46):
I can't you won't stop. Was there was a special
that I think was on A and E.
Speaker 8 (19:51):
It was a series, It was on A and E
or something a few years back, and they they actually
revealed a bunch of new information and evidence that had
been suppressed. And at that point, I believe Court and
I both were like, Okay, it's possible he might be innocent.
Speaker 2 (20:03):
And did you say.
Speaker 8 (20:07):
Nancy Grace and I have had a feud for years,
so I'm not on her side. What I'm saying, though,
is as irrational as a person as she is. They
took her out there and she actually went, okay, well
wait a minute, so there was some stuff presented. Now
I started watching this new one, and I think we're
all on the same page.
Speaker 3 (20:23):
Now, that's why every time you watch something it comes
from one side, you're going to be persuaded. You know,
we're not the police officers, we're not the sheriff.
Speaker 4 (20:34):
We don't You know what you need to focus on.
You know what you need to focus I know what
I did.
Speaker 3 (20:38):
Lose a follower because of all your rude stories that
you're putting about me, thinking he's innocent. I've had I
had a woman attack me and I'm like hurt.
Speaker 2 (20:51):
All you need to focus on are the facts, and
the facts are he didn't tell anybody he bought his
little boat, which he bought. Just a few agree with
you that in this one he drove ninety minutes to
go fishing because it was too cold to play golf
on Christmas Eve. Dude made three homemade anchors for no reason.
He had an affair where he lied to his mistress.
Speaker 8 (21:12):
First of all, he may have heard Courdy's Corner where
we talked about making your own anchors.
Speaker 2 (21:14):
Yeah, yeah, well you might lied to his mistress that
his wife was no longer missed.
Speaker 4 (21:19):
She didn't know he was married.
Speaker 2 (21:20):
For him, it was a mistress.
Speaker 5 (21:21):
He's still a mistress. She's just she's unaware of it.
Speaker 2 (21:24):
She was unaware of it. Correct, he did.
Speaker 8 (21:25):
He was at a candlelight visual for Lacy and he
was calling her pretending he was in embarrassed.
Speaker 2 (21:31):
Yeah, and then the cops told him that a body
was found. Dude, order double double cheeseburger for a minute
and out. It's like, there's no way now he has
no sympathy, no sympathy. Tell me you're on my side.
Tell me you're convinced Toney got up. You're gonna lose
more followers if you keep thinking he's innocent.
Speaker 1 (21:49):
Tell Mario what do you think? On Twitter? At On
with Mario More Mario Lopez on the way.
Speaker 2 (21:54):
All right here, but we're back tomorrow with the first
look at everything new coming to theaters and streaming.
Speaker 3 (21:58):
Last will be talking with the hell hilarious Jim Gaffagan
about his new movie Greedy People. Until then, this is
Mario and Courtney Lopez saying good night
Speaker 1 (22:07):
With Mario Lopez.
