Speaker 5 (04:06):
This is from at wit zitdy. You know, just observing
the world, there's no bond stronger than two people who
are annoyed by the same things.
Speaker 3 (04:13):
Oh hello, social media. That's how people congregate. They don't
care about hearing another opinion. They just want to link
up with people who share theirs.
Speaker 5 (04:22):
Every now and then, too, like you'll make eye contact
with someone in traffic who also saw someone do something stupid,
and there's like a moment of like solidarity, right, and
then they do something dumb and you get more.
Speaker 1 (04:33):
Mario Lopez coming up.
Speaker 3 (04:36):
You're a mariol Courtney Lopez, and we've hit a milestone
over at cost of Lopez. I'm sort of embarrassed to
reveal this, and I haven't completely succumbed to it, but
we started using subtitles on our TV shows, not foreign shows,
American shows, just because I don't know if it's harder
to hear and they're mumblers and it made it's just
(04:58):
making life easier.
Speaker 2 (04:59):
We started walking in the show. Shout out to my
got Peter Burg. He's awesome.
Speaker 3 (05:02):
One of my favorite shows I've seen in years called
American Promeval. You guys have to get on that.
Speaker 5 (05:07):
It's on my list.
Speaker 2 (05:07):
It's really good that it is awesome. Anyway, there's much
of Mumblers on it.
Speaker 4 (05:13):
So West Mumblers accents.
Speaker 2 (05:15):
Yeah, there is some accents. But at first I'm like,
should we do it?
Speaker 3 (05:18):
And then we did it and it has been a
little bit more enjoyable and we're about five six episodes in.
Speaker 4 (05:22):
Here's the thing, though, if I can, you know, in
the future, ask if we can do subtitles but have
an option to put without direction, like I don't need
to hear wind chimes, Like I just need to hear
what the.
Speaker 5 (05:37):
Leaders go to hear the dialogue or to read the dialogue.
Speaker 4 (05:40):
Yeah, I don't need to hear all that because I
understand some people need to hear that you can't hear.
Speaker 5 (05:44):
Like my grandparents were completely deaf, so captions were the
way that they understood what we need. Those horse is
making noise. I don't know what that sounds like, but sure.
Speaker 6 (05:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (05:53):
But to have an option to not have to do everything.
Speaker 2 (05:56):
Yeah, but I think subtitles it hasn't been a bad deal.
Speaker 5 (05:58):
You know what I've I've been used subtitle some but
you know why, it's because the sound mixing it seems
like is off, so like the music will be super loud,
so you lower the volume, but then the dialogue is
really quiet, right, So then it's like I don't want
to keep changing it, so I'll just read.
Speaker 3 (06:13):
The right And then sometimes you need them too if
you're watching. It doesn't even have to be really that foreign.
It could be British shows and their accents are so
thick in English, but it's like, what are they saying?
Speaker 1 (06:24):
Mario Lopez?
Speaker 2 (06:26):
Music rolls on.
Speaker 3 (06:27):
As my wife gets ready to share a random thought
with us here on Mario Courtney Lopez, which you got Squardo.
Speaker 4 (06:32):
You know, arguing with the dog is completely insane, but
guess what I'd be doing it?
Speaker 5 (06:37):
We all do.
Speaker 4 (06:39):
They don't talk back, but they do with their eyes.
Speaker 5 (06:42):
Yeah, they judge, especially like my dog Georgia, because female
dogs do judge more. There was some study about that.
You can see. You could see it in her eyes.
Speaker 3 (06:51):
My mom's dog looks very bougie and no like the
queen Judger. Yes, she's like that one meme with the
guys overlooking the bal Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 5 (07:01):
She's like she's the queen of her sigh, like.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
Exactly she's She's just fat and judgmental.
Speaker 5 (07:06):
That's how Georgia is.
Speaker 3 (07:21):
On tomorrow, Courtney Lopez, few more songs and we're gonna

Speaker 6 (07:44):
Thank you, and I seeing me too. I feel like
I've seen you for like one hundred years and you
don't ever age. I don't know what you do for
like on your like your program.
Speaker 2 (07:52):
You're sweet. I try to drink a lot of tequila.
Stame balmed.
Speaker 1 (07:55):
You know.
Speaker 2 (07:57):
Well. Season seven of the Housewives of Miami is about Tramire.
Do we have.
Speaker 3 (08:02):
Any cast changes? Is there major differences going on this season?
Speaker 6 (08:08):
Yeah, we actually have a new cast member. Her name
is Stephanie Shojai.
Speaker 2 (08:12):
She is so much fun.
Speaker 6 (08:14):
I feel like the viewers are really going to love her.
She brings a lot to the show.
Speaker 2 (08:18):
Okay, and is it true You're gonna address your your
breakup with Marcus in the new season.
Speaker 6 (08:24):
I mean, I don't know if I necessarily addressed it.
I just feel like it's you know, it was tough
going through that publicly, and you know, I felt like
this season, of all seasons, I really needed my friends.
Speaker 2 (08:36):
Normally I'm like tough and strong.
Speaker 6 (08:38):
In this season, I was really emotional about the whole
breakup and just dealing with it publicly, and so I
really needed the girls to support.
Speaker 2 (08:46):
Me and be there for me. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (08:48):
No, those are always tell especially publicly. All Right, Larsa,
hang tight, quick break. We're gonna have more with Larsa,
Pivot more.
Speaker 1 (08:54):
Mario Lopez coming up Palm.
Speaker 3 (08:55):
Mario Lopez catching up with Larsa Pippan from the Real
Housewives of Miami and Larsa. We were just talking about
your split. It seems like you never have a shortage
of suitors there.
Speaker 2 (09:03):
So you got a new boyfriend already. Oh yes, I do.
Speaker 6 (09:08):
For a year, though I didn't go out for a
whole year.
Speaker 2 (09:11):
Oh yeah, that's pretty good. That's pretty good.
Speaker 6 (09:13):
Sixty five days of like mourning.
Speaker 2 (09:16):
Yeah, yeah, and his name is Jeff Right. How you guys,
how'd you guys meet? We met?
Speaker 6 (09:23):
We met at a party, so we both go to
the same gym, but we did ever see each other
at the gym the gym. DBC had his tenure anniversary
and so we met the party.
Speaker 3 (09:33):
Okay, nice and they can work out together now, all right, Okay,
hey tight, a little more music and we're going to
come back with Larsa getting back to Real Housewives in
Miami star Larsa Pippin.
Speaker 2 (09:43):
Who's on Zoom this hour? Mario Lopez here?
Speaker 3 (09:45):
And I know you recently got into the spirits game
as well with the launch of is it o Luco?
Speaker 1 (09:51):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (09:52):
Oh yeah, Alukah? Yeah? Nice? How'd you get involved with that?
Speaker 6 (09:57):
Ten years maybe twelve years ago, my dad wanted me
to do a tequila with him. My Dad's like, I
think we should do a tequila. One of his business
partners had a nagave farm in Mexico, and I was like,
I don't have time. I'm so busy, my kids are young.
And then fast forward years go by and I was like,
wait and I really want to do it again. So
we decided to launch aluho. It is the most ultra
(10:20):
premium and yeho, it tastes so good. The bottle is
so sexy. I'm really proud of it. It's going to
be super great.
Speaker 2 (10:27):
Congrats. I'd love to check it out.
Speaker 3 (10:28):
All right, Well, HANKSI going to play a few more
songs and we're going to come.
Speaker 2 (10:32):
Back with more.
Speaker 3 (10:32):
Larsa got Larsa Pippen from their Housewives of Miami on
Zoom with me. You're all, Mario Lopez and Larsa.
Speaker 2 (10:39):
You also launched a.
Speaker 3 (10:40):
New dating app, date dot com. How would you describe
this app as opposed to other dating apps?
Speaker 6 (10:47):
This is like the smartest dating app. It's powered by AI.
It's an easy, safe way to date. When I was single,
my friends and I were trying to find dating apps.
I'm like, let's just get out some dating app just
to have fun.
Speaker 2 (10:59):
And we were.
Speaker 6 (11:00):
Looking at all these different dating apps, and there were
certain things that I was like, I could never call
someone and give them my phone number if I was
on a dating app. That would be scary, because what
if I like the way you look, but then I
talked to you and I never want to talk.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
To you again. Yeah, then you got Yeah, exactly, and
this guy has.
Speaker 6 (11:14):
My phone number and I can't keep changing my phone number.
And so day dot Com has this amazing feature where
you can call from the actual app. You can video
call from the actual apps. You never have to give
all your personal phone number.
Speaker 2 (11:28):
Okay, I like that move.
Speaker 6 (11:29):
And it has like this no catfishing thing. So there's
a camera that's built in the app, so you have
to take a photo with the app to upload for
your profile, rather than uploading a edited photo of yourself.
Speaker 2 (11:42):
Yeah, huh.
Speaker 3 (11:43):
I kind of liked that because I was already married
when the dating app phenomenon came on the scene, so
I kind of I didn't get an opportunity, but yeah,
that would have been a fascinating world to dive into
right there.
Speaker 6 (11:58):
If you're on the dating set, you five guys that
you think are cute, you can text five guys at
the same time.
Speaker 1 (12:04):
Yay.
Speaker 6 (12:06):
You can mass text them and just say, hey, how's
your weekend going?
Speaker 2 (12:08):
So she is smart weight they know with each other day.
I know you're hitting them all at the same time.
Oh no, no, no, no, oh good good.
Speaker 5 (12:14):
You can have your on the version of the Bachelor.
Speaker 2 (12:16):
Yeah, you have your version of the Bachelor or the Bachelorette.
Speaker 1 (12:19):
I like that.
Speaker 2 (12:20):
Okay, smart way of dating. Yeah, all right, Well, one
more thing I want to ask Larsa hank tight.
Speaker 3 (12:25):
Quick break and we're gonna come back and wrap it
up with Larsa pit We are the full.
Speaker 1 (12:28):
Interview now at on with Mario dot Com. More Mario
Lopez on the way.
Speaker 3 (12:33):
Wrap it Up through a House eze in Miami's Larsa Pippin.
It's Mario Lopez and Larsa.
Speaker 2 (12:38):
You're also a mom. How old are the kids now?
Speaker 6 (12:41):
Scotty Junior is twenty four, Preston is twenty two, Justin's nineteen,
and Sophia sixteen.
Speaker 2 (12:47):
Wow, almost all full on adults. It's crazy. It's really crazy.
That's crazy. That's crazy. That's cool. Well, good for you
and Miami treating you good.
Speaker 6 (12:57):
Yeah, I love it. I've got a new house. As
you can tell, it's like starting to range. It's spraining
all day, but yeah, I love it. It's beautiful.
Speaker 3 (13:05):
Yeah no, that looks very nice back there. Well, congratulations
on everything, and listen. I'll be sure to catch Larsa
on the new season of the Real House Size of
Miami pon Bravo Larsa, thanks for checking in.
Speaker 2 (13:16):
Nice, seeing you, nic seeing you too, All right, take
care of sweetie.
Speaker 1 (13:21):
All.
Speaker 3 (13:21):
Maria Lopez about to dig into the bus because Time
magazine is named the one hundred most influential people of
twenty twenty five.
Speaker 2 (13:27):
We're gonna come back and break it down after a
few more songs.
Speaker 3 (13:29):
Don't move, all, Maria Lopez digging into the bus because
Time's one hundred most influential people at twenty twenty five
just been named.
Speaker 1 (13:37):
On with Mario Hollywood buzz.
Speaker 2 (13:40):
So Time magazine does this every year.
Speaker 3 (13:42):
They named the one hundred most influential people of the year,
and they break it down into six categories. Artists, Icons, leaders, titans.
Speaker 2 (13:53):
How do you differentiate an icon on a titan?
Speaker 5 (13:55):
Well, they do it. No, they do it. You'll see
when I name some of these.
Speaker 3 (13:58):
Okay, pioneers and innovators. So, who are some of the
people who made the lists?
Speaker 2 (14:02):
Here, Frasier.
Speaker 5 (14:03):
Under artists, we have ed Sharon Scarlett, Johansson, Kristen Bell,
Adam Scott, and Josier who influenced your son?
Speaker 2 (14:11):
That's right, yes, okay, that's a good list. They have
bad big years.
Speaker 5 (14:15):
Under icons, Demi Moore and Adrian Brody. Okay, Adrian Brody
has been on the scene for a while, but not
as long as Demi Moore or maybe I'm not familiar
with it because I feel you do have to have
many years under your belt to achieve icon statu. Yeah,
I don't feel like he's been around as long as
Demi Moore like that. I don't think they're close to
the same age. So yeah, it's a little that's a
(14:35):
strange one. But maybe he started when he was Younger're
just not that familiar, but okay, I mean maybe, yeah,
maybe maybe he was a kid actor or something. A
bunch of politicians President Trump, UK, Prime Minister Kurse, Starmer,
Mexican President Claudia Scheinbaum.
Speaker 3 (14:46):
Yeah, look at Mexico having the first female president and
Jewish president all at the same time.
Speaker 5 (14:51):
Do you know what number president she is? I do not,
do you sixty six?
Speaker 2 (14:55):
Is she really?
Speaker 1 (14:55):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (14:56):
She is, wow, sixty six And I learned that today
Trump is forty seven and forty five.
Speaker 1 (15:03):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (15:03):
So Mexico is a lot older. So yeah, it makes sense. Okay,
here was a lot older of a country, So yes.
Speaker 5 (15:09):
Some interesting choices under Titans Blake Lively, interesting Lauren michaels
that one kind of makes sense, yes, Serena Williams, Joe Rogan,
Mark Zuckerberg. Some interesting people.
Speaker 3 (15:20):
The Blake Lively is an interesting tries that was controversial tothers.
Speaker 5 (15:24):
I feel like they did that to get some headlines. Yes,
lots of interesting people under pioneers, including musician Miles Smith,
whose song Stargazing has been a smash hit on our countdown.
Speaker 2 (15:33):
All right, and.
Speaker 5 (15:34):
Finally in the innovator category too, stand out Snoop Dogg
and Nicky Glazier.
Speaker 3 (15:38):
Really, hey, you know what you made the list? Congratulations?
Speaker 2 (15:43):
All right?
Speaker 1 (15:44):
More Mario Lopez coming up.
Speaker 3 (15:47):
Music rolls on Mario Lopez here, and I know we
were just telling you about some of the things trending
over on the website, but that's also where you can
relive all my interviews with awesome people.
Speaker 2 (15:55):
Who stopped by.
Speaker 3 (15:56):
Most recently, we had Ralph Boncio, Scott Porter, Janet Crane,
a whole bunch more on mari dot com for my
full chat with everyone, including stuff you didn't get to
hear on the air. Mario Lopez here, getting close to
the end of our radio fund just one last thing
to get to plus probably enough time to.
Speaker 2 (16:12):
Play a request or two before I get out of
here at all. On Mario on X.
Speaker 3 (16:18):
You're on Mario Lopez and it's time for one last thing.
The AKC Fastest Dogs Competition was held over the weekend
in The winner was a greyhound no shocker there named Auto.
He completed the one hundred yard dash in five point
seven seconds. Oh my gosh, that is unbelievable. That converts
to about thirty six miles per hour. Second place went
(16:40):
to a whippet, which is basically a small greyhound.
Speaker 5 (16:42):
A medium size yeah named go As He.
Speaker 3 (16:45):
Ran his one hundred yard dash in five point eight seconds.
Speaker 5 (16:48):
Right behind him.
Speaker 3 (16:49):
Just to put it in perspective, Ussain Bolt, the fastest
human to ever run thee hundred yard dash, ran it
in nine point one seconds.
Speaker 2 (16:58):
That's truly unbelievable, Mario Lopez. Next, that's it big.
Speaker 3 (17:02):
Thanks to Larsa Pippen zooming in Onmarrio dot com for
my full chat with her.
Speaker 2 (17:06):
More fun tomorrow.
Speaker 4 (17:07):
Till then, Mario and Courtney Lopez saying good night.
Speaker 1 (17:09):
Drawn with Mario Lopez
