Yo O Mariol Courtney Lopez and we hit a milestone
over at Costa Lopez. I'm sort of embarrassed to reveal
this and I haven't completely succumbed to it, but we
started using subtitles on our TV shows, not foreign shows,
American shows, just because I don't know if it's harder
to hear and they're mumblers and it made it's just

making life easier. We started watching the show. Shout out
to my guy, Peter Burg is awesome. One of my
favorite shows I've seen in years, called American Promeval. You
guys have to get on that. It's on my list.

an option to put without direction, like I don't need
to hear wind chimes, Like I just need to hear
what the leaders.

Yeah, Like I don't need to hear all that, because
I understand some people need to hear that you can't hear.

My grandparents were completely deaf, so captions were the way
that they understood what we need.

Yeah, but I think subtitles it hasn't been a bad deal.

You know what I've I've been using subtitles some, but
you know it's because the sound mixing, it seems like,
is off. So like the music will be super loud,
so you lower the volume, but then the dialogue is
really quiet, right, so then it's like I don't want
to keep changing it, so I'll just read the.

Right And then sometimes you need them too if you're watching.
It doesn't even have to be really that foreign. It
could be British shows and their accents are so thick
speaking English, but it's like, what are they saying? Poor

it took about seven years.

Seven years, Mario, My longest and most toxic relationship has

with it. I was like, I absolutely am obsessed with
the idea of there being a sex comedy with someone
that looks like me, Mario, because growing up I never
saw myself in those movies, never really had sex said,
and I was like, this is so important and I
want to tell it. So, yeah, seven years and it's

Factually, she help the cultural consultant. So yes, the scenes
in the movie that seem like they take place in India,
you know, a shop for India, and she made sure
that all the language was correct, all the props were correct,
and it was mirrored off of her childhood classroom. So
I want to make sure it's true to her experience
as well.

you're on camera you can like do subtle things with
your face, expressions with your hand jes right, when you're
just doing voice acting, so much energy goes into conveying
every emotion that way. So yes, often when I step
out of a sound booth, I'm winded for the day.

I play someone who with friends Kat Denning's, and we're
two mothers and we have a quick friendship that kind
of goes through some drama very quickly. And I've had
the pleasure of working with Kat before on Dolphase and
with the show runner Michelle Nader. So felt like a
little family reunion was such a warm, lovely set. And
I did tell a joke when the cameras weren't rolling,
and Tim Allen did laugh. So I would like to
believe that we're best friends.

so that makes a lot of sense to It's a
coastal town, which is great.

started using subtitles on our TV shows, not foreign shows,
American shows, just because I don't know if it's harder
to hear and they're mumblers and it made it's just

making life easier. We started watching the show. Shout out
to my guy, Peter Burg is awesome. One of my
favorite shows I've seen in years, called American Promeval. You
guys have to get on that. It's on my list.

Right And then sometimes you need them too if you're watching.
It doesn't even have to be really that foreign. It
could be British shows and their accents are so thick

of goes through some drama very quickly. And I've had
the pleasure of working with Kat before on Dolphase and
with the show runner Michelle Nader. So felt like a
little family reunion was such a warm, lovely set. And
I did tell a joke when the cameras weren't rolling,
and Tim Allen did laugh. So I would like to
believe that we're best friends.

I say New Orleans is the number one city in
the South, especially for food, because you can't replicate food
