Cheddar Bay Biscuits are becoming an endangered species red lobster
file for bankruptcy. They've already closed ninety three of their
five hundred and fifty locations and are looking to shut
down one hundred more. Chain had a disastrous endless shrimp
promotion last year that caused the restaurant to lose money.
Speaker 4 (21:50):
Well, no, King, you can't say.
Speaker 2 (21:51):
That, because you'll have fools in there. Just fill in
a Duffel bag to take home.
Speaker 5 (21:58):
Edless is the same as unlimited correct correct well. By
the way, Red Lobster was founded back in nineteen sixty eight. However,
it has lost thirty percent of their business since the pandemic.
The biscuits are really good.
Speaker 4 (22:11):
And there was a Red Lobster. I grew up with
one around the block.
Speaker 2 (22:15):
A lot of the restaurants that I grew up with
are no longer, or I shouldn't say no longer, but
they've diminished in there in their popularity. Red Lobster, Long
John Silver. Do you remember Long John Silver?
Speaker 4 (22:26):
Yet?
Speaker 3 (22:26):
I used to get down when I ate chicken and
their coalslaw. I'd put that cole slaw on the chicken.
And then their French fries were amazing, and then you.
Speaker 4 (22:37):
Could just get fried batter on the side, the crispies
Krispies on the slashes like extra fried batter. Yes, Long
John Silver.
Speaker 1 (22:44):
