At On with Mario on Facebook and x at On
with Mario Lopez on Instagram. Love hearing from you, so
please hit us up, questions, comments, whatever you got a
few more songs. Are going to dig into our mentions
to see what's on your mind. That's coming up next.
All right, time to dig into our mentions to see
what's on your mind. At On with Mario on Facebook
and x at On with Mario Lopez on IG. What'd

(09:58):
you find honey?

Speaker 4 (09:59):
This is from Kara Sykes and she said psychs. She said,
thank you for the low pezzant pic.

Speaker 3 (10:05):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (10:06):
So we were talking about this a while ago. In
case you're wondering, how many years ago was that when
you took the original it.

Speaker 5 (10:12):
Was like twenty twelve or thirteen.

Speaker 3 (10:14):
No, it was twenty twelve. It was a year we
got married.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
Yeow, okay, so how many years is that?

Speaker 3 (10:19):
How many years have we been married?

Speaker 2 (10:20):
I don't know. I'm my good at math. What is
thirteen thirteen? Okay? So thirteen years ago? It's simple, man.
I'm at the house and decorating a Christmas tree where
my wife is actually and she couldn't reach to put
the star on top of the tree, so she asked
me to do it. And I'm chilling at my house.
I'm in a T shirt and underwear, so I go
to put it up on the step stool, kind of
high on my tippy toes. My daughter, who's like two

(10:42):
at the time, comes up and grabs my ankles to
support me, and my wife decides to take a pick. Well,
that went viral and then People magazine posted and a
bunch of people started commenting on it, and cut to
thirteen years later, I recreated the pick for a feature
that People Magazine did on the Lopez fan band, and
people are now asking if I got a BBL Brazilian

(11:03):
butt lift, which I did not, allegedly allegedly but I
did not, which is nice. And we recreated the pick
with my six year old Sonny and it's pretty funny
because it's the same underwear and teacher. It looks like
the same tree. Yeah, it's wild.

Speaker 6 (11:18):
Happy holidays from the entire on with Mario fam more
fest and fun coming up.

Speaker 2 (11:23):
You're all, Mario Courtney Lopez. Time to make it weird.
Courtney's random thought? What you got, honey?

Speaker 4 (11:28):
You know, Selene was really spitting when she said there were.

Speaker 2 (11:32):
Nights when the Wind was sold.

Speaker 3 (11:36):
Because like they are.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
Wow, that was one of your best random thoughts ever.
And what a delivery. Very good, very good Selene impression.
And you know what, being in New York this past week,
she was right because it's code out East. Listen. If
you're doing some holiday shopping for the Journey fan in
your life, you might want to listen up, Mario Courtney Lopez.
Here is Steve Perry legend himself saying goodbye to items

(11:59):
from his per archives for a good cause. His new
holiday auction includes instruments, handwritten lyrics for separate ways, and
only the Young Awards in more. How cool? Is that?

Speaker 3 (12:09):
Very cool?

Speaker 4 (12:10):
This auction will raise money for Gilead House, which helps
unhoused single mothers and their children. But Steve Perry auction
is open from now until December sixteenth. You can just
google Steve Perry archives to find it.

Speaker 2 (12:22):
That's awesome. So is it or is it not? A
holiday movie? You're al Mario Courtney Lopez. Everyone always brings
a die Hard, but there are a few others that
people claim or holiday flakes because they feature holiday scenes.
But let's see if we agree.

Speaker 4 (12:36):
So Goodfellas has a scene with gangs stills that to
the tune of Frosty the Snowman.

Speaker 2 (12:41):
Yeah, and there's a lot of Christmas decorations and a
big chunk of the movie does take his place during Christmas.

Speaker 5 (12:48):
But it is not a holiday movie, however, just like
Diehard is not. We also found out Frosty is the
most dangerous Christmas song. Remember it's true, we see it
kind of.

Speaker 4 (12:55):
Fits Meer also has a scene where Tina fe and
friends dance did.

Speaker 3 (12:59):
You Go Bell Rock?

Speaker 2 (13:01):
That was a fun scene. I don't know if it
qualities Christmas.

Speaker 4 (13:03):
Not a Christmas movie though in the original Rocky there's
a Christmas Eve scene with a wreath and a baseball bat.

Speaker 3 (13:09):
I think that's kind of pushing it.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
Rocky would even be closer to a Thanksgiving movie if
you want to go that technical route, because Adrian cooks
a turkey, her brother throws it out. He takes her
on a date in the ice skating ring during Thanksgiving.
Very romantic. So it is definitely not a holiday feel
to it because it covers Thanksgiving and Christmas. Sure, And
if you want to get technical, Rocky four when he
fought Ivandrogo, he fought him on Christmas Day in Russia,

(13:34):
So that's more of the Christmas movie. And Rocky is
the Thanksgiving exactly, okay.

Speaker 4 (13:37):
And Lady in a Tramp love this movie is about
a Cocker Spaniel who was a Christmas present.

Speaker 2 (13:43):
Those are underrated dog cars. Spaniels are very cute.

Speaker 3 (13:45):
They're very, very cute.

Speaker 4 (13:46):
Not a Christmas movie though, And even Edward Scissorhands has
a Christmas scene.

Speaker 3 (13:50):
Edward makes an angel ice sculpture.

Speaker 2 (13:52):
We're reaching, but I like the themes where I like
the themes if you were wearing a Santa hat. Maybe
maybe Happy.

Speaker 1 (13:57):
Holidays to you and yours. This is on with Mario Lope.
We'll be right back.

Speaker 2 (14:02):

the Quartos corner for some holiday hags. What are you

and how our amazing friends and Macy's can make it
super easy to find great gifts for everyone in your life,
especially right now because Macy's is having their Friends and
Family Sale with thirty percent off designer dresses and designer

(15:13):

add sparkle to your holiday. I was going through their
website and I just ordered some dog slippers for her niece.

Speaker 3 (15:23):
Got all your dad's favorite cologns nice.

Speaker 4 (15:25):
I even bought a dress for myself and something really
sparkly for my mom because Macy's has an assortment of
fine jewelry thirty to fifty percent off as part of
their Friends and Family Sale as well.

Speaker 2 (15:35):
I like that you got something for yourself.

Speaker 3 (15:36):

com slash Gift Guide.

Speaker 6 (16:03):
Happy Holidays to you and yours. This is on with
Mario Lopez.

Speaker 1 (16:07):
We'll be right.

Speaker 2 (16:08):
Back Mario Courtney Lopez. Here was some holiday buzz for you.
A lot of us are playing close attention to our
holiday shopping budget this year, except for one category. New
survey shows pet owners are happily loading up on treats
and toys for their furry sidekicks, and even more so
with younger adults.

Speaker 4 (16:24):
Some are even putting more under the tree for their
pets than for the people in their lives. The survey
says dog owners will spend between seventy five and one
hundred dollars on their pups this season. Well, it's funny
because today I just brought Fraser his annual.

Speaker 3 (16:39):
Dog gifts for his dogs.

Speaker 5 (16:41):
Yes, and they already have a few.

Speaker 4 (16:43):
The day that I bought all the dog gifts, I
literally had a basket filled to the brim for dogs
for that's how many dogs are.

Speaker 2 (16:50):
Wow, Wow, there's a lot of dogs. You're on, Mario Lopez.
One last thing to get too shortly, hang on for
that first though. I want to congratulate all five thousand
dollars winners and iheartradios. Thank a teacher powered by donors choose.
By the way, there's still time for you to nominate
a public school teacher making a difference, and maybe there'll
be one of our next winners of five thousand dollars
to make over their classroom. Help us say thank you

(17:13):
to the educator shaping our future. Nominate your favorite teacher
now at olmuri dot com slash teachers Yo, Maril Courney Lopez.
Time for one last thing. You may have seen the news.
Some people are upset about ads appearing on the screens
of Samsung smart fridges, which is kind of crazy. Four
thousand dollars for a fridge and now it's playing advertisements

(17:34):
in your kitchen without your permission. Pretty wild, right it is?

Speaker 4 (17:38):
Anyways, an ad for the new TV show plur Abyss
actually sent a woman named Carol into a psychotic episode.

Speaker 3 (17:44):
What Yeah, Apparently this poor lady had.

Speaker 4 (17:46):
Previously been diagnosed with schizophrenia, and then recently her smart
fridge started playing an ad several times over and over
a few days that said We're sorry, we upset you
Carol on it and this lady Carrol thought someone was
trying to communicate with her.

Speaker 3 (18:01):
Through her fridge.

Speaker 1 (18:02):
Oh my god.

Speaker 3 (18:03):
She ended up having to.

Speaker 4 (18:04):
Be checked into a hospital for forty eight hours. Her
family is livid.

Speaker 2 (18:08):
Well yeah, I mean that's sort of tough to account
for if you're the fridge people. Interesting to see how
that's going to play out. But good luck, Carol, Happy.

Speaker 1 (18:16):
Howadays to you and yours. This is on with Mario Lopez.
We'll be right back.

Speaker 2 (18:21):
That's it. Thanks again to you for hanging out with us.
As always, if you missed anything or just want to
