Now, you are on with Mario and Courtney Lopezo.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
Mario Lopez, Let's take a look at what's on TV today.
Speaker 5 (00:28):
History Channel has The Proof Is out There Alien Edition.
Journalist Tony Harris presents evidence of UFO sightings from around
the globe.
Speaker 2 (00:35):
The Proof is out There, Alien Edition. Wow, we're getting wops, No,
not wops. What do they call UAPs? UAPs? Wops? Is
Will Cardi b Yes, yes, all right?
Speaker 5 (00:47):
Amazon? And Season two of Jenny's Kitchen. This time the
chef is in Iceland to find inspiration for his street food.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
Ooh, so he goes around and eats. I love the
street food, but ice. So then I gotta imagine it's
like a lot of shark, a lot of fish, a
lot of blubber.
Speaker 5 (01:03):
Yeah, right. In Netflix debuts owning Manhattan, a real estate
mogul behind one of the biggest firms in New York,
tackles the most expensive listing.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
Oh, I can't even imagine. And by the way, very
expensive and still a shoe box. Yeah, Mario Lopez. Here,
there's something to celebrate every single day of the year,
and this one I'm excited about. It is National Food
Truck Day. I honestly feel I'm like the king of
the food trucks. I love me a food truck. It's quick,
it's easy. I like to go out and support them.
Speaker 5 (01:31):
What was the one that you were at when that
plane crashed near you? All right?
Speaker 2 (01:34):
I was at Marisco's El bigot One, which means the
Big Mustache. Why they have that name, I have no idea,
but it is incredible, and which is right next to
Bidia Gonzalez. Those are probably two of my favorite food trucks.
And yeah, there was a plane going down there. Since then,
they've moved across the street from Richie Allen's Park. The
(01:55):
benefit of it being a truck, yes, exactly, exactly. Maybe
they didn't want a plane going down on them, but yeah,
those guys are awesome. Mario Courtney Lopez, Kenya Moore Quentin
The Real Housewives.
Speaker 1 (02:07):
On with Mario Lopez Hollywood butt Wow.
Speaker 2 (02:10):
So we told you before that Kenya was suspended by
Bravo overclaims of revenge born that targeted newcomer Britney eighty.
But Kenya says her conscience is clean and the reports
are false. She says Brittany actually threatened her before all
those drama went down. Despite all that, she's not interested
in returning for season sixteen, but she's leaving the door
(02:31):
open for future seasons. This is going to what you
said the other day. It's gotten so mean and nasty
that it's just not fun anymore.
Speaker 3 (02:39):
They're not having reunions to reunite people to talk about
the season. There's just I really don't know what could
be left other than murder.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
Well, don't count that out either count that.
Speaker 1 (02:53):
Or Mario Lopez coming up.

but I want to see how she's recovering from her
nasty bike accident. We're gonna get into all that coming next.
It's up all Mario Lopez joining me now on Zoom
from the new movie Reunion, actress Nina Dobra. Welcome to
(03:38):
the show, Nina. Nice to see you.
Speaker 6 (03:40):
Good to see you too. Thanks for having me.
Speaker 2 (03:42):
Oh it's always great to have you. First off, how
is recovery from the accident going.
Speaker 6 (03:47):
It's going good considering all things considered.
Speaker 7 (03:50):
I still have my crutches, Oh yeah, always within a
foot or two away from me. But yeah, I'm I
got the big brains taken off last week, so I
have a smaller brace now and hopefully this week I'll
be down to one crutch and then ideally next week
no crutches.
Speaker 6 (04:11):
So fingers and toes lunch.
Speaker 2 (04:13):
Oh good, So a couple of weeks away and doing
Pete and everything.
Speaker 6 (04:16):
PT is my full time job.
Speaker 7 (04:18):
I do three hours a day at the PEG and
then three hours at home, so total hours a day.
Speaker 2 (04:23):
It is a job. Yeah, but it helps. Okay, good.
Now will you jump back on a bike again or
you'll be taking it easy now.
Speaker 6 (04:31):
I'm definitely not getting on a dirt bike ever again.
Speaker 1 (04:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (04:34):
Now that was a one and done situation for me.
But I think a regular bicycle, well, yeah, for sure.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
I'm with you on I have the fear.
Speaker 7 (04:44):
I'm definitely really nervous now, like with any little even
if it's like an easy life thing to do, it's
it's everything scares me currently.
Speaker 5 (04:51):
Yeah, I don't.
Speaker 2 (04:52):
I don't mess with bikes at all. I never have
just for that reason. So good for you. I'm glad
to see you're on the end. Well, hold tight, you
gotta take a break. But I want to talk more
about this new movie Were You. We're gonna have more
with Nina doe Brev coming.
Speaker 1 (05:01):
Out, coming out more, Mario Lopez coming up.
Speaker 2 (05:05):
Mario Lopez here, My guest. Today's actor is Nina doe Brev.
And let's talk about this new movie Reunion. What's it about?
Speaker 1 (05:11):
So?
Speaker 6 (05:11):
Reunion is a who Done it? Murder mystery comedy.
Speaker 7 (05:15):
It is a really fun film with an incredible ensemble cast.
Speaker 6 (05:20):
Everyone in this movie is amazing.
Speaker 7 (05:21):
It's so much fun shooting it. It's about a group
of people who get back together for their high school reunion.
They get snowed in, so some of them have to
stay overnight and when they wake up, someone's been murdered
and they have to figure out who the murder is.
Speaker 2 (05:38):
Ooh, fun premise. I mean, not the actual account what's
going on? But what's your character in this?
Speaker 7 (05:46):
My character is a politician or she is an aspiring
politician who has a lot of skeletons in her closet
and she's just trying to not get discovered for a
bunch of other things, and she has a lot of
secrets and she's kind of I said it earlier today,
but she's a bit of a bee.
Speaker 6 (06:04):
Okay, I swear on this on this or not.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
But yeah, that must be fun to play and pretty
cool cast little rel Chase Crawford, a lot of laughs
on set, good times.
Speaker 7 (06:15):
Yeah, Billy magnuson Jillian Bell Michael Hitchcock, Jamie Chung.
Speaker 6 (06:20):
It's an incredible cast. A lot of laughing.
Speaker 1 (06:22):
We did.
Speaker 7 (06:23):
We didn't go back to our trailers ever, not once,
I don't think really.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
Oh that's fine. And your man made a little cameo, right,
Sean was in it?
Speaker 7 (06:30):
Yeah, yeah, Sean was visiting on set one day and
then we jokingly were like, well, let's put them on
the movie.
Speaker 6 (06:34):
And then they're like, oh, actually we.
Speaker 7 (06:36):
Have this this part. It's like a tiny little cameo
Edward forty hands. So yeah, that's Sean has a quick
little flash, which is really fun.
Speaker 2 (06:47):
That's cool. I saw in New York recently. Yeah, it
was very cool. Well, Reunion is available now on demand.
Hold on, Nan, I gotta play some more music. Mario
Lopez hanging out with Nina dope brev and is it
true you're big true crime fan?
Speaker 6 (07:00):
Oh my god, yes, insane? Yeah, I watch all the
Murder documentary.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
Yeah, same, which one have seen lately that you like?
Speaker 6 (07:07):
I mean, I just finished season two of Jinks.
Speaker 2 (07:11):
Oh is it worth watching? I just I feel like
I didn't. I didn't get into it yet because I'm like,
what else are they gonna discover or talk about? There's more. Wow,
it's worth it.
Speaker 6 (07:21):
I mean season one.
Speaker 7 (07:24):
Season one is obviously like the probably the best murder mystery,
not murder mystery, but like true crime documentary that I've
ever seen. And season two it's obviously the punches aren't
as packed, but it's still Yeah. I mean, yes, I
watched Saarahcase recently, and I'm a little late for that one.
Speaker 6 (07:46):
People keep telling me to watch The Perfect Wife or
something like.
Speaker 2 (07:48):
That Perfect Wife. Did I see that one? I don't
know if I know that one.
Speaker 6 (07:51):
It just came out, so I haven't.
Speaker 2 (07:53):
Okay, I haven't. I haven't seen that one. What have
I seen as of late? I've seen pretty much. I've
seen pretty much. God, of course, I can't think of
one right now. But I'm with you. Unless someone's getting killed,
I can't go to bed in peace when I see
it there. All right, hold on, I want to play
some more music right now, you're all Maria Lopez. My
guess is Nina doe Brev whose new movie is Reunion,
(08:13):
and during the pandemic you acquired the rights to the
bestseller Woman ninety nine. What is the status of that
right now?
Speaker 6 (08:19):
So we're still in development at the moment.
Speaker 7 (08:23):
We just hired a writer who is writing the treatment
and we'll be writing the script very shortly, so we're
still a beat away from that, but very much, very
much excited about it. And yeah, it's going to be that.
One's a passion project for me for sure. It's been
so many years in the making.
Speaker 2 (08:41):
Oh well, good luck, Thanks all right, I got one
more thing I want to ask, but we've got to
take a break. I'm gonna come back and wrap it
up with Nina doe Brev in just a moment.
Speaker 8 (08:48):
You're the full interview now on with Mario doug more
Mario Lopez on the way.
Speaker 2 (08:53):
Mario Lopez here or wrapping things up with actress Nina
doe Brev And are you planning to go to Parasital

Speaker 6 (09:00):

Speaker 2 (09:01):

Speaker 6 (09:02):
That was the first question I asked the surgeon after
a surgery. I was like, can you go in to
the Olympics?
Speaker 1 (09:07):

a second nap at the end of the summer.
Speaker 4 (11:36):
Then we have Daddy. Oh, it's in theaters.

Speaker 1 (12:05):

Speaker 2 (12:08):
Royal Courtney Lopez was some quick buzz for you. Season
three just dropped this week, but Fax and Hulu are
already renewing The Bear for season four. Shows almost guaranteed
to get a bunch of EMI noms next month for
season two, especially the Christmas episode which featured Bob Odenkirk
and Jamie Lee Curtis. She was great.

Those are literally two mortal enemies of two people on
this show, right listen, I'm cool.
Speaker 2 (12:30):
With both of them.
Speaker 3 (12:31):
I just saw Jamie Lee Curtis crossing the street the
other day last week when I was going to my
doctor's office.
Speaker 2 (12:35):
I didn't say anything, did you really? She was really
good on the show, though, I remember she was.
Speaker 4 (12:38):
Really really good.
Speaker 3 (12:39):
I actually just saw an interview with the Latina lady
who works in the kitchen.
Speaker 2 (12:44):
Yeah, and she.
Speaker 3 (12:46):
I always find this interesting. She auditioned during the pandemic
with a self tape.
Speaker 5 (12:52):
Oh wow, good for her.
Speaker 3 (12:53):
They had no idea.
Speaker 4 (12:54):
Yeah, so I found that interesting.
Speaker 2 (12:56):
Very nice. I don't know if we're gonna have to
deal with the anxiety of another season, but we'll see.
All right, let's get back to the music. Mario Lopez here,
and you know how much I love to play games.

bread Bag.
Speaker 5 (13:44):
Correct, he wasn't officially in it, right, he was around
that time.
Speaker 4 (13:47):
He was like a prop.
Speaker 2 (13:48):
Yeah, he was a brad Pack adjacent thing called it.
Speaker 4 (13:52):
Yeah. He has to be sixty.
Speaker 2 (13:55):
Four, sixty three, fifty eight.
Speaker 5 (13:58):
Wow, he's younger than you guys thought he was in
his sixties too.
Speaker 2 (14:01):
Wow. Well yeah, because at the same time, why.
Speaker 5 (14:03):
The Internet proved us wrong? Kathy Bates from Misery American
Horror Story The Office.
Speaker 4 (14:08):
She's still kicking.
Speaker 5 (14:09):
She's right, great, great, Actually she's also about to be
the new Matlock.
Speaker 2 (14:13):
Is she really Wow? She's a really good actress. So okay,
Kathy Bates, I'm going to say, is sixty seven seventy four,
seventy six?
Speaker 4 (14:21):
Why I knew she was up there?
Speaker 7 (14:23):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (14:23):
Wow?
Speaker 5 (14:24):
And we talked about him the other day because Spaceballs
is getting a sequel.
Speaker 2 (14:27):
Finally, mel Brooks one hundred and fourteen.
Speaker 4 (14:31):
Ye he is ninety seven ninety eight.
Speaker 2 (14:37):
Oh wow, that's amazing.
Speaker 1 (14:41):
More Mario Lopez coming up.
Speaker 2 (14:43):
Wow, Courtney Lopez, here was some quick buzz for you.
It sounds like there's already drama on the set of
the New Wheel of Fortune. Apparently Anna White has not
been vibing with Ryan Seacrest. Sources are saying she may
retire once our contract runs out. New episodes with Ryan
debut this fall.
Speaker 3 (14:58):
Are we surprised that there negative press already? I mean,
it could be true, it could not be true.
Speaker 4 (15:04):
We'll see.
Speaker 2 (15:04):
I'd like to buy all pass I'd like it retirement
Mario Courtney Lopez with more Real Housewives drama. Shocker, New
York Colum Kelly ben Simone has called off her engagement.
She was planning to walk down the aisle this weekend,
but her fiance refused to sign a prenup, which was
a red flag for her who had been together for
(15:25):
the past two years. Huh.
Speaker 4 (15:29):
I mean, yes, that is a red flag.
Speaker 3 (15:33):
But you wait until the week before your wedding and
you've been together for two years.
Speaker 4 (15:38):
You didn't speak about that when you got engaged, Like,
I don't understand.
Speaker 2 (15:42):
The timing seems a little off, but we wish them
both the best, Yo, Mario Courtney Lopez. Time for another
fake debate where the topics are made up on the spot,
but the passion is very real. Who is pro and
who is can today?
Speaker 5 (15:54):
I think Courtney was pro last time. M Yeah, so Mario,
you will be pro. Courtney will be calmed. Okay, you
have fifteen seconds to make your case. Ten second robuttal
your topic today is dropping your plans to watch a
movie with your father.
Speaker 2 (16:09):
Dropping plans to watch a movie with your father shouldn't
even be up for debate. Your father's only here for
a limited amount of time. You want to be able
to take advantage of those moments because you're going to
regret it later on. If my dad wants to watch
a movie, I will watch it. That's one of the
few things I do do with my dad and my
father is we watch movies together and we bond.
Speaker 5 (16:31):
Missus Lopez, you're against dropping your plans to watch a
movie with your fi.
Speaker 2 (16:35):
Oh let's hear this. Oh you can say, oh.
Speaker 4 (16:40):
Do you want to do the con? You do the
con gs and studio.
Speaker 2 (16:44):
Wow, you do the con all right?
Speaker 5 (16:45):
So standing in for Missus Lopez is junior Missus Lopez
or miss Lopez gea.
Speaker 2 (16:52):
Wow, Let's hear why you want to drop plans?
Speaker 4 (16:54):
Why don't I wouldn't want to draw plans?
Speaker 6 (16:56):
Yeah, hang out with you?
Speaker 2 (16:58):
Yeah, let's hear right, you don't want to watch a
movie that's.
Speaker 5 (17:00):
Dropping plans to watch a movie with your father.
Speaker 9 (17:02):
Well, I feel like I get more out of hanging
out with my friends and hanging out with my dad
because I feel like I can it be more fun.
They're more young, just slightly, and I feel like we
could go do more. And also watching a movie you're
like not really doing anything with other person.
Speaker 5 (17:17):
Mister Lopez, your rebuttal?
Speaker 2 (17:19):
Wow, do you want to take a knife and just
stab me in my throat right now? Before this ice speak, I.
Speaker 5 (17:27):
Speak, Miss Lopez. It's not your turk.
Speaker 2 (17:30):
You know what, I'm going to keep that answer in mine.
Next time you ask me for something, I'm going to
keep that answer in mine, and I'm gonna remember this
moment when you either want to ride somewhere, you want
to buy you something, or you'd like a particular birthday party,
Miss Lopez.
Speaker 9 (17:47):
Oh, well, like I think you're so funding out with
but maybe on days I don't have anything to do.
Speaker 2 (17:56):
What you're absolutely bored? Then you're hanging out you are
her last resort exactly. I'm glad that I'm your last option,
final option.
Speaker 8 (18:05):
Thanks a lot, gee, more fun on the way on
with Mario Lopez.
Speaker 2 (18:10):
You're Mario Courtney Lopez, and before we take off, we're
gonna give you the final word with our comment of
the week. What do we got, honey?
Speaker 3 (18:16):
All right? This is from d loo is Yvett whatever
that means. They say, one day you're young and cool
and the next day Amazon is sending you a deal
they think you'll like, and it's for a spongeholder.
Speaker 2 (18:32):
This is why I don't order anything.
Speaker 3 (18:33):
I completely agree, one hundred percent. I am that person
now that likes to buy gadgets and.
Speaker 5 (18:41):
You get excited for like the dumb things.
Speaker 3 (18:43):
And I bought a wrapping paper cutter where the wrapping
paper goes into this thing and you're supposed to I
used it once, but I like this stuff makes me happy.
Speaker 5 (18:56):
Great, and Mario just pays for it.
