the big winner was Billie Eilish. She uh swept the
big four categories Record of the Year, Album of the Year,

like I joke a round a lot, and I never
take anything seriously at these kind of things, but I
genuinely want to say, um, I'm so grateful, and I

(02:07):
only want to say that I'm grateful and that I'm
so honored to be here amongst all of you. Alicia
Keys of course back his host and kicked off the
show with a somber tone as she brought out Boys
to Man to pay tribute to Kobe Bryant, who tragically
died yesterday in a helicopter crash. So yeah, beautiful moment

(02:36):
there with Alicia and Boyce Man paying tribute to Kobe.
But there were lots of other performances as well. Here

So my girl j Lo getting ready to play the
halftime show with the Big Game this Sunday and dropping
some teasers over on. I g took off the line

(03:46):
like a wide receiver. It's Mario Lopez. Just re graham
some of those. So hit me up at Alan Maria
Lopez on Instagram and let me know what songs you
want to hear from j LO this weekend. Music rolls on.
It's Mario Lopez. Doctor Drew stopping by next, were to
talk Mass Singer. He was the Eagle in season two.
Season three kicking off this Sunday. Anyway, He's gonna be

(04:07):
here next hour. In the meantime, more music and a
Mass Singer inspired random question from Courtney coming up next,
Courtney Lopez keeping the fun coming your way. Nothing more
fun than a random question, So let's get to it.
Courtney's random question. Alright, honey, what you got? Well, since
the new season of The Mask Singer is going to

(04:27):
premiere this weekend, if you went on the show, which
you haven't been, even though everyone thinks you have been,
I have been guessed a lot or people have guessed that.
But if you could choose and design your own costume,
what would you pick? That's a good question. I'm gonna
be a French bulldog. It just paying respects to our

(04:50):
boy Julio, a cool French bulldog with a bad caller.
Right and um, and my my ears are gonna be prominent,
and my head's gonna be the actual size of my
head because it's already good size. Would you be his
exact color or would you be a different color to
throw people off? I might have to mix it up
to throw people off. But yes, oh now I'm kind

(05:10):
of excited. Now I might have second thoughts about the show.
Tell us what you would choose at On with Mario
on Twitter, More On with Mario coming up from the
Geico Studios, where fifteen minutes could save you, or more
on car Insurance. You're al Maria Lopez. Every day is
a holiday if you like weird stuff. Fraser, what are
we celebrating today? You have two choices, National Chocolate Cake
Day or bubble Wrap Appreciation Day. I can appreciate both

(05:33):
of those. Bubble Wrap kids love it, and if you're
honest with yourself, you kind of like to pop all
those things too. Of course, what up? It's Maria Lopez.
We're all excited for season four. Stranger Things. The writers
have been dropping little teasers on social media. I'm gonna
tell you what I'm here and including the eighties and
nineties movies that inspired this new season. Next you're al

(05:54):
Mario Courtney Lopez getting fired up for Stranger Things season
four on with Mario Holly would Bus. So the writers
are Stranger Things have a Twitter account called at Stranger Writers.
Pretty on the notice, they've been teasing things about the
upcoming season, which, by the way, the last season I
thought was great. It was so good. They really took

(06:15):
it up a notch from the previous season. I just
liked that they were in a mall because it was
just like the mall that I would go to. And
I love that that actually was a mall I used
to go to when I was little, because they shot
that in Georgia, really, so you could place yourself in
that exact mall. What a trade. They put different stores
in there, but you knew, like, you know what, that's awesome.

(06:39):
First time. I'm jealous of you. Well, the show has
always packed itself with references to eighties classics, but it
kind of sounds like the show is going to start
looking ahead to the nineties. These are some of the
movies that the writers say influenced the next season Primal Fear.
Remember that with Richard Gere my cousin Vinny that the
two utes Night Mayor on Elm Street three one. But

(07:02):
It's coming for you too. But that's still kind of eighties.
It just led over into the nineties. The Bird Cage
with Robin Williams and Nathan Landeman in that movie back
in the day, die Hard was that nineties? I thought
it was eighties. That's Christmas movie too, was early nineties.
It was It's the best Christmas movie ever made. And
Home Alone. There you go as far as Christmas movies.

(07:24):
Nice need more Hollywood buzz, Get up on with Mario
dot com for Mario's take on everything happening in Tinseltown
and hang on the crazy discontinuous in Moments from the
Geo Studios or fifteen Minutes Could Save You or more
on car Insurance. Right on with Mario doing our part
to make sure you're up to date on everything going
on Frasier. What's trending was we talked about earlier in

(07:45):
the show. Of course, the Grammys went down last night.
Lots of winners, lots of performances, and that amazing tributes
from Alicia, Keys and Boys, two men for Kobe Bryant,
who tragically died yesterday in a helicopter crash. Pretty much
the whole world mourning the loss of him and his
thirteen year old daughter Gianna. That crash, of course, now
being investigated, and we'll keep you posted as we hear more.

(08:06):
We're sending prayers out to everyone involved. We're gonna keep
you updated as more info comes, and as always, you
can head over to On with Maria dot com for
more info. What up, Maria Lopez, keeping the music going
for you and about to get Dr Drew Pinsky in
here a new season of The Mass Singer kicking off
on Sunday night after the Big Game. Drew was the
Eagle last season, and we're gonna get his thoughts about

(08:27):
his time on the show. Coming up next. Al Maria
Lopez joining me now in studio the Eagle from the
last season of The Mass Singer, Doctor Drew. Welcome back, buddy,
Great to see you, to see you two, Brandy and
Newport Beach. If you remember the last time you and
your lovely one, that's right, that's right. We were having
a baby moon prior to our third and we had

(08:47):
a fortunately a healthy baby voice. That all it all,
it all worked out. And I gotta tell you, I
was shocked to see you were in the mass singer.
I was like, whoa crazy? Right? Yeah? What made you
want to do it? A couple of things. One, I
I trained an opera for many years when I was
a kid. All the way through my residency, I was trained.
And yeah, I thankfully did not decide to go down

(09:09):
that career path, although I thought about it for about
two minutes. Uh And and as I'm getting older, my
voice going away, I only have some more more chances
to use this. And I saw that show last season,
and I know Kennon Jenny very well for literally decades,
and I thought this would be really funny. This I
could really screw with them. So I just grabbed my
age and I go, but you should put me on
that thing? And next day I was talking to the producers,

(09:30):
that's awesome. How difficult is it to performing that cost crazy? Crazy? Yeah?
I mean I I my costume. I can move around
and pretty good, but it's it's hot, it's heavy, it's
the giant hit on the meshes right up against your
mouth so you can't breathe. And you're trying to use
a microphone. It's pretty wild. Well, great job on the show,

(09:51):
The Mass Singer kicking off a new season this Sunday,
Amar dot Com to see what to expect more with
Dr Drew coming up, Don't move more with Mario coming
your way from the Guy Coo Studios for fifteen minutes.
You can save more uncor insurance. Talking The Mass Singer
with Dr Drew. Who was revealed as the Eagle last season.
It's Maria Lopez and uh, how much input did you

(10:12):
have in your costume? Do you basically get a choice?
A little bit collaborative. They're mostly kind of showing you
things and you choose. But I came there with the
Eagle in my mind because I've been singing national anthems
at like the Dodger games and the King's Game and
so you can find it all online and and I thought,
you know, I could sing some anthems and maybe some
Frank Sinatra, so stuff in my comfort zone. And uh,

(10:34):
and I met with the producers and before I said anything,
they said, you know, we're thinking about Eagle for you.
I was like, oh my god, perfect, let's do it.
So then I started training and then I put that
damn costume on and I was like, oh no, this
is a rock eagle. You're a Maria Lopez catching up
with Dr Drew. Been talking mass singer, but quickly want
to put you on the spot. Quick questions, quick answers.

(10:54):
First up, go to karaoke song. Now that you have
a strong playlist, go to one right now. No, like,
what would be your go to get fly with me?
I think movie you've seen the most Godfather Godfather let's
say yeah, big taste, all time favorite podcast guest, Mario Lopez.

(11:15):
Dr Drew Pinski is in the house. Mario Lopez here,
and before you go, I want to take this opportunity
to go through some recent headlines here, Dr Drew. So,
Aaron Carter just got this big face tattoo. Um, you
say he needs to seek treatment. So just the obvious signs,
like if someone does such an aggressive tat on their face. Yeah,
I mean, if I listen. I don't know Aaron Carter.

(11:37):
I wish I'm only the best. He I said something
to TMZ and he reacted to it, and it's my
sincerest apologies that this disturbs him anyway. I'm just I'm
just using this opportunity to talk about things like this
so people can learn. But when somebody did something impulsive,
like when Britney Spirits shaved her head, that's I know
something is majorly wrong. And I had heard. I don't
have a direct proof of this, but I had heard

(11:59):
that he in the tattoo his entire face, and the
tattoo artists wouldn't do it, and so that was like,
something's up. And then he was on the doctors and
listed four or five different psychiatric major psychiatric conditions that
he said he was suffering from. All were mutually exclusive,
none made sense altogether, but it was a sign that
something's really up. Another celebrity who struggles are being played

(12:19):
out right now in public is Mama June. She just
sold her home for a big loss. Obviously it seems
like a big red flag. Huh yeah. And i'd heard
there were some substances involved. Again, no direct knowledge of her.
I have met her several times, and uh again. For
all these people, I just wished them, there's help. Go
get it. It's no problem, don't be ashamed, go get
it it. Just a meeting on every corner of Mama June.

(12:40):
Go go raise your hands and need help right. Uh. Meanwhile,
check out the new season of The Mass Singer starting
this Sunday on Fox. You can follow him on Instagram
at Dr Drew Pinsky. Thanks for stopping bio. Was great
to see, sir. Right this is on with Mariotz Studios.
Fifteen minutes. Could save more on card your dot com.

(13:01):
Okay at al Maria Lopez on Instagram for more of
my chat with Dr Drew. It's Mario Lopez. Posted some
pis and a few teasers for the new season of
The Mass Singer at On with Mario Lopez on I
g for that and more. Maria Lopez, gonna keep the
music going and I want to get to the story
I run across. It's so weird. I thought it was
a joke at first. A few more songs. I'm gonna

(13:22):
tell you about the new fashion innovation that could eliminate
the need for heat fill you in next all right,
Mario Lopez Here, my wife Courtney in studio as well.
And this fascinating story. A team at Stanford University, number
one rated university in the world by the way, for
like a fifth year, is developing a solution for you
to dip your clothing in that they say will eliminate

(13:43):
the need for indoor heating. It's called silver nano wire
and it basically insulates your clothing and reflects ninety percent
your body heat back on you. They claim it'll keep
you up to seventy warmer than the warmest woolf sweater. Well,
look at smart kids over his Stanford. This is great
if you live in Canada, Uh, you know, come winter

(14:04):
time or Siberia. No use for it here in California.
But that sounds fascinating and like a workout. At the
same time, Mario and Courtney Lopez will be right back
with more from the Geico Studios fifteen Minutes You Could
Save You fifteen seven more on car insurress dot com.
Reminder I Heart Radio Music Awards coming up in March,
which means you need to go vote for all of

(14:25):

those sour requests. Anything you want to hear at on
with Mario on Twitter. Mario Lopez, Fraser Nichols also in
here time for one last thing and Fraser, You've got

(14:47):
it right. Yes, the worst states to drive in have
been named for Oh I can, I can tell you
number one. Now, I don't know. I think I'm gonna
be off. Don't you feel the worst states to drive
in would be the dates with the worst traffic? Doesn't
that mean it makes sense? Yeah? In my opinion, yes, uh.
And I would say it's California because we live in California, California,

(15:08):
and in New York it's terrible. And also Houston's pretty
bad and Atlanta is really bad to Houston has freeways highways.
What's a difference freeway? Which went a freeway in a highway?
I don't know much A good question. Highways took that up.
No highways are elevated and freeways don't cost complete that up.
But anyway, in Houston, they have a freeway highway with
like nine lanes. It's the craziest thing I've ever seen.

(15:32):
Everything is bigger in Texas, including the freeways. So so
the top three worst states to drive in? Number three Washington,
Washington State. I don't like this all right, there's no
other trees there. Deer comes out. I mean my brother
actually had his car hit by a deer. A deer
hit him, so it happens. Number two Rhode Island. Come on,
there's two people that live in Rhode Island and number

(15:53):
one Hawaii. Okay, this must be talking about Honolulu because
it's bad there. But I need it's all relative, right
right this They picked the three smallest states literally or
two of the small states literally. Huh, and I respectfully disagree.
We in on Twitter right now, tweet us and on
with Mario and don't move. More fun coming up from
the Geico studios. Fifteen minutes could save you fifteen cent

(16:16):
or more encore instress at Geico dot com. Alright, that's it,

Lopez quickly saying thanks again to Dr Drew for being
