That's a that's a treat for him. And he gave
my kids both each their own um strawberry shakes. And
when they came home, they had crayons and destroyed the

walls in my house. I mean, we're a hip hop family,
so we're down with graffiti. But right they're tagging everywhere.
They want to kick it with Grandpa all the time.
That's funny. Are the kids into music at all? The
kids are into music. My daughter is coming up with
song writing her own songs and singing all the time.

My son loves instruments. His first word was guitar. So
we we know the kids are gonna be into music,
but hopefully they are. You know the first astrophysicist, uh

So what made you want to do the show? Were
you already a fan? And and uh was it what

you expected once you got involved? Yeah? I was already
a fan of the show. I really dug you know,
like when Wayne Brady was on the show and when um,
little Wayne was on the show. That's the one that
I was like, Okay, little Wayne, all right, I'm gonna
do this show one day. I don't know when I'm
gonna do it. No, it's cool. I like that they
get people that can actually sing, which makes it much
(09:26):
more enjoyable as as a viewer, because you get a
bunch of people that can't sing and it's like, oh
my gosh, then what what what are we doing over here? Um?
You were the mushroom? Did you have many options? Or
you saw the mushroom and you said that's me. Gave
me some choices. So when I first talked to the producers,
they showed me a broccoli costume and I felt like, well,
my name is Alo, I'm already a green plant. I
(09:47):
don't want to do something else that's green. It's true.
A shark in a suit with with with a hat
similar to the hats that I wear in the suits
that I wear. I was like, Na, that looks a
little bit too much like me on stage. So when
they showed me the mushroom, I thought, perfect, this is
is completely different from what anybody would expect. I'm gonna
rock this one. Well. Congrats again, man Runner up on

Mario Lopez and uh, the new album has been out
for a couple of months now, All love everything. What
kind of response you've been getting from people, Well, a
lot of people say that this is a song that
has helped them through this really traumatic time, this this
pandemic time, is something that we've never experienced, um and
in many, many decades. You know, there are some older
generations who remember something like this, but you know, as
(11:15):
an album about togetherness, about connection, about love and compassion,
I think those are the messages we need. And that's
what's on my album All Love Everything. And you know,
I'm about to to release, uh, a new version of
my song my Way with Steve Aoki like and and
made it, made it bounce in a way that I
never thought a bounce. It's gonna be dope. All Right,
(11:36):
I gotta wrap up with Ala Black. Who's been hanging
out with this hour. It's Mario Lopez and Uh, I know, Alo,
you've got two kids at home. How old do they know?
I have a seven year old girl and a four
year old boy. Okay, we're like on the same program
right there. I read you have a rule no sugar
and no TV. That's a tough one right there. Yeah,
that's a strict rule for me. My wife she doesn't
follow the rule for the kids as much as I do. Um,

she thinks I'm a bit too strict, But like I'll
tell you what. One day my dad had the kids,
he took them to um to in and Out. He
since I was a kid, he loves in and out.
That's a that's a treat for him. And he gave
my kids both each their own um strawberry shakes. And
when they came home, they had crayons and destroyed the
(12:20):
walls in my house. I mean, we're a hip hop family,
so we're down with graffiti. But right they're tagging everywhere.
They want to kick it with Grandpa all the time.
That's funny. Are the kids into music at all? The
kids are into music. My daughter is coming up with
song writing her own songs and singing all the time.
(12:41):
My son loves instruments. His first word was guitar. So
we we know the kids are gonna be into music,
but hopefully they are. You know the first astrophysicist, uh
doctor on Mars who plays and sings. Everyone listened to

reality show. Still have not seen that. Yeah, that okay,
that feels like a list last year though, that okay.

reason feels like ten years ago. It does feel like
so long ago, I think because we don't have an
Oscar's um coming up soon. Usually it's like I got delayed, right,
it got delayed. Yes, Mike Bloomberg ran for President's so funny, hilarious,
spent like two billion dollars and was out in a month. Terrible.
