No no, no, no, no no no. What else?

Speaker 4 (01:16):
That was Cruel Summer by Taylor Swift.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
If you didn't know that is going to be hard
to beat, I'm assuming that's uh, that's the one to beat.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
There. Bamas Flower actually my name and Sick.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
You Don't Flowers by Miley Cyrus that might be the
only one that can maybe dethrone cruel Summer Taylor Swift Right,
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:41):
This song was played a lot too. Now.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
That was Killed Bill by Sizza, who was probably my
favorite artist of the year. I really like her album,
which my daughter turned me onto.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
She's a big Scissive.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
She's a big siss A fan, but the whole but
GA's got good taste because that album's really fire, as
the kids would say.

Speaker 4 (02:06):
And finally we have this one.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
Sucker please me trial damn Vampire.

Speaker 4 (02:17):
That was Vampire by Olivia Rodrigo.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
Yeah, it's uh, it's gonna be a tough one, but
I still say it comes down to Miley and Taylor.
We're gonna find out when the trophies are handed out
live on Fox on April first.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
Or Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
You're all Mario Courtney Lopez.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
Let's take a look at what's on TV today.

Speaker 4 (02:34):
Hulu has Crystal Ball Balenciaga to talk about the rise
of the design icon.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
Ooh, that could be interesting.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
Okay, They've also got Zorro. Miguel Bernardo plays the hero
assuming the title of Zoro to avenge his father's murder.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
And he probably talks like this.

Speaker 4 (02:50):
Yes, and Netflix premieres The Bequeathed, A woman finds herself
at the center of a string of murders when she
inherits her uncle's burial grounds.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
Arc What up, Maria Lopez? You're voting now open for

Speaker 3 (03:23):
Jomar and Courtney Lopez.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
That's been on our thing at cats Party's a random question?

Speaker 3 (03:27):
What you got honey?

Speaker 5 (03:28):
All right?

Speaker 4 (03:28):
This is inspired by the show Ted with the talking
teddy bag. I don't know why I said that like that,
but if you could have any inanimate object come to life,
what would you pick.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
When I was a little kid, I used to talk
to my Teddy bears all the time. I wouldn't I
would have loved Ted as a little kid, because that
was basically me. If I could have any object come
to life, hmm, that's a good one right now? Or
at any point in my life, at any point then
I would have had my little WWF.

Speaker 3 (03:57):
Wrestlers come to life.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
And now it had to have been talking to them
and wrestling with him. That would have been the best.

Speaker 4 (04:03):
Well they actually do talk.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
Now, wouldn't be surprised.

Speaker 4 (04:06):
Yeah, you press a button and they talk.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
I would have chosen out.

Speaker 6 (04:09):
Tell us what you would choose at on with Mario
on Twitter More Mario Lopez coming.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
Up, Mario Lopez, here was some quick buzz for you.
It took two decades to get a part two, but
sounds like part three is coming soon. I'm talking about
Top Gun, where it is Tom Cruise is back.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
Well, of course he has.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
To be, because then otherwise no one's going to see
it and it wouldn't be a top Gun. So was
Myles Teller and Glenn Powell aka Hangman. The most recent
film was the second biggest grossing movie of twenty twenty
two and the biggest of Tom Cruise's career, and that's
saying something because no one's quite had a career like
Tom Cruise. It probably also set a record for the

(04:48):
biggest amount of time between an original film in a sequel.
I got to say it's up there right, I can't
think of another.

Speaker 3 (04:56):
One was between Greece and Greece too.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
No, they were pretty quick. Okay, it was like five
six years. It was a Top Gun, which was nineteen
eighty six, and then it finally came out. What was it,
twenty twenty three?

Speaker 3 (05:06):
Yeah, tour twenty two. Whoa, what's the map on that?
That's a lot of years.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
That's a lot of years. Hey, Mario Lopez here, just
a few more songs and I'm gonna get to today's guest.
It's Holly Madison from Girls next Door back in the day,
and now she's hosting The Playboy Murders, which is back
for a new season. We're gonna see what mysteries she's
uncovered coming up. Hey, you're a Mario Lopez joining me
now on zoom from The Playboy Murders. Holly Madison, Welcome

(05:33):
to show. Holly, you been good.

Speaker 7 (05:35):
Thanks for having me. I like your little Blues Brothers statue.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
Oh thank you. Oh that's so funny that you say
Blues brothers. That's actually supposed to be me, But with
the hat it does kind of give a Blues brother
When did you get that hat? I don't know he's
out her shop, and I Murphy he's morphing exactly. Season
two of The Playboy Murders debuts on Monday. Ooh, what's
in store this season?

Speaker 7 (05:58):
Yeah, we have seven different applees. They're all really intriguing cases.
They're all so different. We cover famous cases like the
Dorothy Stratton case, where we talked to her roommate, who
I don't believe has ever spoken on a program about
it before, and talked to people who knew her. We
also cover a lot of cases I had never heard
of before, some of what are unsolved, and I love
sharing those stories because hopefully somebody knows something who can

(06:21):
come forward. But also they involved with some stories where
I met the people involved and I had found out
doing research for other things like my podcast, The Unfortunate
Tragedies had happened to those people as well, so I
really wanted to dive in and learn more about it.

Speaker 2 (06:34):
I bet it's fascinating. Well, you can watch The Playboy Murders.
Mondays on Investigation Discovery. All right, hold on, we're gonna
have more with Holly Madison coming.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
Out more, Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
Mario Lopez here with Holly Madison from the Playboy murders,
and has the show led to new info coming forward
in any of the unsolved cases.

Speaker 7 (06:54):
Not yet, but I think that's every true crime producer's
dream is to help people find answers.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
You mentioned your podcast Girls Next Level with bridget Mark Art.

Speaker 3 (07:06):
Is that how he listen?

Speaker 1 (07:07):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (07:07):
Okay, what have you been talking about on there?

Speaker 7 (07:10):
It's a rewatch podcast. We watch old episodes of Girls
next Door and talk about everything that happened behind the scenes,
everything you don't get to see. So it's definitely been
a journey for us. It's been a lot of fun,
some triggering moments, but some fun moments too.

Speaker 2 (07:23):
Yeah, it's always a trip to sort of look back
and absolutely full circle. Right there where you can find
Girls Next Level on iHeartRadio or wherever you get your pods.
Hold on, Holly, gotta play some more music, Mario Lopez Here,
I got Holly Madison on zoom with me and I
can't believe it's been almost twenty years since the debut
of Girls next Door. I totally remember when that started

(07:45):
to what was the best part of that era.

Speaker 7 (07:47):
I think the best part of that era was the
show just opened us up to opportunities that we weren't
able to do otherwise. We got to go on a
lot of really cool trips and things like that. So
Bridget and I are just recording an episode where we're
covering the episodes where we go Europe, and it was
like all of our first time when we were in
our early twenties, and just seeing all the cities and
all the sites for the first time was so exciting.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
Yeah, that is fun. Well, hold on, Holly, we got
some more music in the mix. J're on Mario Lopez
hanging out with Holly Madison from The Playboy Murders, and
you announced that you were recently diagnosed with autism. Was
this surpriser something that you may have suspected?

Speaker 7 (08:25):
It was something I suspected over the past few years.
My mom told me that she thought that was maybe
a thing growing up, and I just never got diagnosed.
So this last summer I spoke to a therapist and
we did the whole diagnostic process, which is quite involved.
I think we did it over the course of like
seven different appointments, and she also took appointments with my
mom and my ex husband. They want to talk to

(08:45):
people who know you and know how you react. To
things and know your behavior patterns and things like that.
So it's quite involved and it can be kind of
expensive to get a diagnosis, so it's not like the
most accessible thing to everyone. But I love finding out
and being able to speak about it freely now and
understand myself better and how I work the.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
Way I do. I did the same thing. It was
a full, complete diagnosis, and it took a lot of
blood and it was a whole thing. They officially said
that I have a like severe ADHD. I'm like, I
could have told you that. Yeah, yeah, that didn't That
wasn't a news flash. But then also that I'm incredibly
light sleeper, which I already.

Speaker 3 (09:23):
Knew, but there was.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
They were giving me some science to it to back
that up and had to shut down the break all
this stuff. So I was learning all this stuff. Actually,
I was getting confirmation on stuff that I already felt
that I already had.

Speaker 7 (09:35):
It feels good to know that, though. And are you
getting better sleep now? Are they able to attack that?

Speaker 2 (09:40):
Well, I'm starting. I'm gonna start taking these pills once
I get them then every day. All right, Well, hold on,
I got one more thing I want to ask you.
We've got to take a little break. We're gonna have
more with Holly Madison coming up.

Speaker 6 (09:50):
The full interview now on with Mario dot Com. More
Mario Lopez on the way.

Speaker 2 (09:55):
Mario Lopez here wrapping things up with Holly Madison from
The Playboy Murders. So how old are the kids now?

Speaker 4 (10:00):
What I am?

Speaker 7 (10:01):
My daughter Rainbow is ten and my son Forrest is seven.
They're little surfers.

Speaker 3 (10:07):
Fun.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
Yeah, it's fun. Good for you. Well listen watch The
Playboy Murders. Mondays on Investigation Discovery. Holly, thanks for hanging.

Speaker 3 (10:16):
Out, Hopeful, Lucy, and thank you so much for having me.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
What up, Mario Lopez. Here was some quick buzz for you.
We're going to biopic based on the life of Richard
Simmons and the actor makes sense, my boy, Polly, sure,
I can see it. Polly Shore was just on my
show Access Daily and we discussed this, and coincidentally, there's
a meme that I was about to post with Polly

(10:52):
Shore and Richard Simmons, and there is a uncanny resemblance.
At one point, Simmons was the biggest fitness personality in
the world and also like a late night staple. He
was funny, but he mysteriously disappeared from public life about
ten years ago. He did resurface and tell everyone he
is okay and.

Speaker 3 (11:09):
That his maid was not holding him hostile.

Speaker 2 (11:11):
Correct, there were all kinds of theories. But he's uh,
he's chilling out and laying low all right. Time for
must see movies with Mario Courtney Lopez. Let's take a
look at what's new in theaters and streaming this weekend.

Speaker 4 (11:23):
Iss it's in theaters. Tensions flare on the International Space
Station i s S as a worldwide conflict breaks out
on Earth.

Speaker 2 (11:32):
I saw the trailer to this. Audriana Debos is the story.
It's it's wild looking, it's it's very very high tech.
It's almost like a video.

Speaker 4 (11:42):
Game, which brings me to you in theaters.

Speaker 2 (11:45):
We're talking to.

Speaker 4 (11:46):
Me right, No, it's not about you. Lucy Hale and
that Wolf are disillusioned about love, so when they meet
at a wedding, they agree to write letters to each
other about their past to find out if this is
a real thing.

Speaker 7 (11:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (11:57):
I also saw the trailer to this, and the whole
movie takes place in twenty four hours, so they fall
in love in twenty four hours, and they kind of
break up and then reunite. A lot happens when you're young.
I guess world was.

Speaker 4 (12:08):
Fast The Kitchen Netflix, directed by Daniel Klujahelujah. A man
fights for his community in a dystopian future.

Speaker 2 (12:17):
Oh, Daniel Khluiah, the star of get Out. I think
it's his directorial debut, so all right, congrats.

Speaker 4 (12:24):
The Woman in the Wall Paramount plus Laurna wakes up
one day to find a corpse in her house with
no idea how it got there.

Speaker 2 (12:31):
That's a cool premise.

Speaker 3 (12:33):
That's it.

Speaker 4 (12:34):
Whoopsie And the end we start from in theaters when
London is submerged in floodwaters, a woman in her newborn
baby must find their way home.

Speaker 1 (12:44):
Come woor, Mario Lopez coming up?

Speaker 3 (12:47):
What ut Mario Courtney Lopez?

Speaker 7 (12:48):
Here?

Speaker 2 (12:48):
Today's lesson of music history takes us back to nineteen
seventy four and a song that's only for the couples
on the dance floor. I'm gonna reveal it next, y'all.
Mario Courtney Lopez And on this day in history, fifty
years ago in nineteen seventy four, this was the biggest
song in the country. Show win Yes a game play.

Speaker 3 (13:09):
When I'm want to save.

Speaker 2 (13:15):
When I used to go to k Town, Koreatown, this
was one of your songs. This was one of my
go to karaoke ceilings. Yes, did you sing Oh Wilson
Show and Tell?

Speaker 4 (13:24):
Did you sing it just the way you sang it
right now?

Speaker 2 (13:27):
No?

Speaker 3 (13:27):
No, no.

Speaker 2 (13:27):
I had a lot of achaling me And if this
is when I was feeling good and it was like
serenade time.

Speaker 4 (13:34):
Who were you serenading?

Speaker 2 (13:35):
Calm down, Yomaro? Courtney Lopez got a couple celestoring.

Speaker 1 (13:41):
A year older.

Speaker 2 (13:41):
Today, let's try to get the ages.

Speaker 3 (13:43):
Jodie Sweeten from Full House, Fuller House.

Speaker 2 (13:46):
Forty three, I'm gonna say she's forty four, forty two, forty.

Speaker 4 (13:52):
Way I knew she was near me.

Speaker 1 (13:53):
I just didn't.

Speaker 5 (13:54):
Star of White Shaking You Thanks Star Chicks and in
Living Color Sean Wayns.

Speaker 2 (14:03):
I think my guys around the same age. I'm gonna say.

Speaker 5 (14:05):
Fifty fifty one, fifty three, Okay, we're married with children
and sons of anarchy.

Speaker 3 (14:10):
Katie Sagal Peggy Bundy, Yes, love.

Speaker 2 (14:13):
Peggy, love her.

Speaker 4 (14:14):
She's sixty four.

Speaker 3 (14:15):
Also the voice of one of the characters in Futurama.

Speaker 2 (14:19):
I'm gonna say she's sixty seven seventy oh.

Speaker 5 (14:23):
And one of my favorite people on the planets, Dolly.

Speaker 2 (14:25):
Parton almost talented too, Dolly, who's still killing it. I'm
gonna say she is seventy eight.

Speaker 4 (14:35):
I mean she might be ninety five. We just can't tell.
That was an ode to her nine two five. Thanks
when you explained that.

Speaker 2 (14:45):
Explain she is seventy nine seventy eight one year old.

Speaker 3 (14:51):
You said seventy seven. Oh no, you said to me eight.
So I got it.

Speaker 2 (14:54):
Oh I did get it.

Speaker 3 (14:55):
I thought I said, no, you got it.

Speaker 2 (14:56):
Oh I got it.

Speaker 3 (14:57):
There we go. I adn't paying attention.

Speaker 1 (14:58):
There we go yourself, Mario Lopez will be right back.

Speaker 2 (15:02):
What up, Mario Courney Lopez? You're treating every day like
a holiday when we Celebritain.

Speaker 4 (15:06):
Today it is National Popcorn Day.

Speaker 2 (15:08):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (15:09):
You know.

Speaker 2 (15:09):
I love me some popcorn. However, I do not like
it with butter too much, too aggressive. I prefer it
with M and m's.

Speaker 3 (15:15):
I like it with cheese.

Speaker 2 (15:17):
Nacho cheese is good too. Melted nacho cheese's really you.

Speaker 4 (15:20):
Know what else is good? Popcorn and twizzlers at the
same time.

Speaker 2 (15:23):
Eh No, see what I like those, but separately.

Speaker 4 (15:27):
You haven't even tried it yet.

Speaker 2 (15:29):
No, that's disgusting.

Speaker 4 (15:30):
I don't need to fine, don't enjoy it?

Speaker 2 (15:35):
What ut Mario Courtney Lopez Here, this was a shocking
announcement for Star Wars fans. The role of Princess Leah
was originally offered to Jodie Foster.

Speaker 3 (15:43):
I did not know. How did we now?

Speaker 2 (15:45):
How do we go all these decades with just finding
this piece of information out?

Speaker 1 (15:48):
Now? Oh?

Speaker 3 (15:49):
Joey Foster?

Speaker 2 (15:50):
Tody Foster's about that? That's about perfect case. The first
Star Wars was nineteen seventy seven. Okay, a taxi driver,
which is thirteen in nineteen seventy two, I believe.

Speaker 5 (15:59):
So yeah, your work through the math there we know
would have been around twenty twenty one.

Speaker 4 (16:04):
I love hearing stories like this. She says she turned
it down because she was under contract with Disney at
the time.

Speaker 2 (16:09):
Wow, and how ironic that Disney now owns Star Wars.
You are, Mario Courtney Lopez to have another fake debate
where the topics are made up on the spot, but
the passion is real.

Speaker 1 (16:19):
On with Mario Lopez presents the fake.

Speaker 2 (16:23):
Debate who's pro and who is continent?

Speaker 5 (16:26):
Courtney will be pro today, you will be con You
will have fifteen seconds to make your case, ten second rebuttal.
Your topic today for our fake debate is being barefoot
in public spaces.

Speaker 4 (16:37):
Ill ill, thanks for making me pro.

Speaker 3 (16:41):
You're welcome.

Speaker 4 (16:42):
I feel like the bottom of our feet are just
is just like our immune system. We have to get
it dirty and we have to feel the earth, and
we have to feel being grounded to become better in life.

Speaker 3 (16:56):
Mister Lopez, are against being barefoot in public spaces? I
didn't realize I was.

Speaker 2 (17:00):
It's such a nasty individual. There's nothing more disgusting than
when you see someone step out of their car at
the liquor store, walk into the store barefoot, and then
proceed to go into the restroom to use it barefoot.
That is a level of nastiness that I'm not cool
with at all. I don't care how hot she is.

Speaker 3 (17:20):
Thank you, mister Lopez.

Speaker 4 (17:21):
Missus Lopez, listen, to become one with the earth is
to become one with the sun.

Speaker 3 (17:27):
Thank you, mister Lopez.

Speaker 2 (17:31):
Well, you need to become one with a shower. You're
gonna be kicking it barefoot like that, Not to mention
it's dangerous. There's glass nails and other stuff you can
step on and it maybe cause a staff infection.

Speaker 3 (17:43):
Yes, let's know you think one on Twitter.

Speaker 6 (17:46):
Tell Mario what you think on Twitter. Pets on with
Mario more Mario Lopez on the.

Speaker 2 (17:51):
Way, Mario Courtney Lopez here and he had a hit
with season one of House of Villains, so they're bringing
it back for season two and Joe McHale's back his
host Love fam.

Speaker 4 (17:58):
The show put's ten of the most notorious reality show
villains under one roof. The Season one winner was Tanisha
Thomas from Bad Girls Club.

Speaker 2 (18:07):
I feel like Bad Girls Club have an advantage, well
not just the advantage they have like alumni that win
these sort of things all the time, right whether they
whenever there's a congregation of reality show stars and they
pick them from different shows, whoever was on Bad Girls
Club seems to always win.

Speaker 3 (18:24):
They have the best farm system for those too.

Speaker 2 (18:26):
But regardless whether it's who's the worst or who's the
who's the nastiest the best bad clubs.

Speaker 4 (18:34):
I used to watch Bad Girls Club like in college.
I think that long ago.

Speaker 3 (18:38):
Oh wow, that's been on forever then, so five years
ago we're the same age. I insulted myself.

Speaker 4 (18:46):
Yeah, anyway, I need you to go to that club.

Speaker 2 (18:49):
And get your what a Marriol Courtney Lopez. Here, you
got your first look at season six cast of Love
is Blind. This time the Pods are heading to North Carolina,
North Carolina.

Speaker 4 (19:02):
I don't really like how you said we get our
first look at Love is Blind. It's not very.

Speaker 2 (19:07):
What it's not all.

Speaker 3 (19:09):
We're not being sensitive, not literally blind.

Speaker 2 (19:12):
That is a metaphor.

Speaker 1 (19:13):
I know.

Speaker 3 (19:13):
So if they can't say anything, why don't they have
to go? Why don't we have to know where they are?

Speaker 2 (19:17):
Good point?

Speaker 4 (19:18):
Listen. New episodes drop on Valentine's Day, Perfect Day, and
you can see the thirty Pod people at on with
Mario dot Com.

Speaker 2 (19:28):
Y Al Mario Corney Lopez. Before you take off of
the weekend, we're gonna give you the final word with
our comment of the week.

Speaker 7 (19:33):
What do we got?

Speaker 4 (19:34):
This is from Att Steph Stone and they said, last
week a friend canceled our plans because it suddenly got
really windy and I have never respected anything more.

Speaker 3 (19:43):
Well, where were they going?

Speaker 2 (19:44):
Like on a nature or?

Speaker 3 (19:47):
I mean you're got picked off? I can't make it, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (19:49):
Exactly, I mean you're going sailing. We're flying a kite.
That could be a good thing, but I'm trying.

Speaker 4 (19:53):
To think Asha didn't want to go.

Speaker 3 (19:55):
Yeah, you're looking for an excuse.

Speaker 2 (19:57):
I can respect it because probably didn't want to mess
up the wig, and when really windy, the wig is
just you can't control it.

Speaker 1 (20:02):
So okay, more Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 2 (20:07):
All Right, we're out of here, full steam ahead into
the weekend, but we're back on Monday with Long Island
Media Teresa Caputo.

Speaker 4 (20:13):
Until then, this is Mario and Courtney Lopez saying, have
a great weekend
