Speaker 4 (00:31):
World, Courtney Lopez, Here was a quick buzz for your
Cool Runnings is apparently making a comeback on with Mario.
Hollywood Buzz Disney's dusting off one of the nineties most
We Love underdog stories and planned to give it a
fresh twist with Cool Runnings.

Speaker 5 (00:44):
Too, all female Bob sled team making the spotlight this
time around. The original came out way back in nineteen
ninety three.

Speaker 2 (00:51):

Speaker 5 (00:52):
This nineteen ninety three.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
We Gotta Play the Lottery and was inspired.

Speaker 5 (00:55):
By Jamaica's real life Olympic Bob Sled Team's debut, the
movie became a hit. The movie became a bit of
a cult classic over the years, and now the next
chapter is reportedly in the works.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
Well, it's got to be fictional because I haven't seen
another Bob Sled Team for Jamaica, So we'll have to
see what happens. Yeah, when did this female Bob said
team do this?

Speaker 2 (01:14):
Exactly?

Speaker 1 (01:15):
More Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
So this September, it's all going down in Sin City.

two nights, one stage.

stopping by Courtney's Corner for a new live hack.

Speaker 5 (02:03):
In the meantime, would love to play a song for you,
So tweet your requests Our way at on with Mario.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
Y'all, Mark Corney Lopez. Time to get some fresh life
hacks in Cordos Corner. What are we talking about.

Speaker 5 (02:14):
Today, honey, Well, back to school organization, specifically for the parents.
I believe it's really important. Things get hacktic when the
kids go back to school. So these are little things
we can do to try and hopefully, you know, make
our life a little easier. Use a wall calendar or
we have ours on the fridge. It's an easy way
for all members of the household to see what's going on.
Upcoming events. Sports practice is important. Due dates, No, not

(02:38):
baby do dates, but just due dates, upcoming school breaks.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
Et cetera. Yeah, I know that is a very good tip.
Make a short chart.

Speaker 5 (02:45):
It's just because the kids are back in school, they
still got to pull their weight around the house. This
lets them know that they need to get things done.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
We should put it right next to the wall calendar exactly.

Speaker 5 (02:55):
Pre plan the week's dinners This is always hard for
me because our kids are always on the run one
lest thing to think about. But if you have a
constant schedule at home, then you can try that. This
can be difficult, but get up thirty minutes before your
kids do. It gives you time to do a few
things for yourself and you'll feel less rushed. I get
up about thirty seconds before my kids do, and yeah,

(03:18):
I wish I could get up earlier. Set out school
clothes the night before. One last thing you do in
the morning. I do this for anything the kids have
to do the next day. Our kids were uniforms, so
I don't have to worry about it, But if they're
wearing their own clothes, I do everything the night before.
It's just easier. I iron all that kind of stuff.
Try to pack as much of the kids lunches as
you can the night before. Something I also do. You'll

(03:38):
probably want to wait until the morning to make the
sandwiches so they don't get soggy. I do the fruit
the night before, put it in the little bags or
the little vento boxes, and put it back in the fridge.
So all I have to do in the morning is
literally fill their water, which sometimes I do that before
and put that in the fridge, or just keep the
same water for the week.

Speaker 3 (03:57):
They don't know.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
Mario Lopez here with a quick reminder that you can
listen to this show in podcast form. We take out
the music to give you a quick daily dose.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
Of fun and we're funny.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
You just search on with Mario on your iHeartRadio app
or wherever you get podcasts. Ald Mario lopez celeb birthday
is just a few songs away quickly though any obscure
holidays to recognize it. Says World Coconut Day.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
I love me a coconut.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
They're difficult to get into. They're difficult to get into,
but we'll also kill people. Well that was I was
gonna say. If that's a fun fact, that's not so
a fun fact that we'll share in a second. But
coconuts themselves difficult to get into. But I love just
eating fresh coconuts cut. I love the coconut juice when
you cut them, by the way you put some you're
enough for coconuts.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
I'm enough for coconuts, lemon.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
Salt, that heen, You're good to go. The juice is great.
It's all healthy for you? Is it juice or milk?
I believe it's juice. I believe it's juice. Is it
not so? I guess you could call it milk. The
not so fun fact is following coconuts, believe it or not,
cause all one hundred and fifty human debts every year,
on average.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
Thirty times more than sharks.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
We should be hooking up are more dangerous than sharks.
They are thirty times more dangerous. Says that's a fun fact.
Time for some September second birthdays? What Amaro Lopez here
as always for? He is gonna shout him out, and
I'm gonna try to guess the ages.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
What do we got?

Speaker 3 (05:22):
Zed DJ musician? We had him on last year? That's right.
Whenever I hear that name, though, it reminds me of
that line in pulp fiction that Bruce Willis said Zed's dead, baby,
Zed's dead, not Zeed the artist. It makes me think
of anytime someone from the UK or Australia says the
letter Z, they say Z do they instead of Z?

(05:43):
For some reason? Okay, Zed the DJ is forty two
thirty six. Ooh, okay, It's hard to tell with those guys.
Uh Kat Williams comic, very funny, so funny. I love
that dude. Kat's got to be forty five. He is
fifty two? Oh wow? Samahayak, Samahayak, who's looking finer than ever?

(06:03):
This is a tough one. She uh fifty five, fifty
nine Wow, almost sixty's incredible six level next year for
her unbelievable and uh finally from the Matrix. John Wick
A bunch of movies. Keanu Reeves, Keanu Reeves one of
the nicest guys ever, incredibly nice. Yeah, I'm gonna say

(06:27):
sixty two, sixty one.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
Oh dang, I was close more. Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
Oh with Mario Courtney Lopez.

Speaker 3 (06:35):
Time to make it weird with a random thought, which
you got, Quardo.

Speaker 5 (06:39):
You know, you never look drunker than when you've just
knocked over a glass and you're trying to explain it's
not due to your alcohol consumption.

Speaker 3 (06:46):
I swear I didn't drink that much, so this was
not because of the booze. Ironically, I've been knocking over
my glove. I've been knocking over Mike, I knocked something
over over your lap, I've been knocking over my cup
of water. On Access Daily pretty frequently. Really only because
I'm speaking a lot with my hands. Now when my

(07:06):
hand arms in a sleep for a while, I think
I'm speaking extra with my hands. Yeah, an accidentally, you're
knocketing it over.

Speaker 5 (07:11):
You never did that one.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
I was gone, so I'm not drunk.

Speaker 5 (07:14):
Well is it before or after? You do have the
drinking second?

Speaker 3 (07:17):
That's true.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
A Mario Courtney Lopez music rolls on.

Speaker 3 (07:22):
But you know, we all remember that one teacher who
of course made a difference. Well, now's your chance to
say thank you in a big way. With iheartradios think
a teacher powered by.

Speaker 5 (07:30):
Donors choose nominate an outstanding public school teacher who's gone
above and beyond for their students to win five thousand
dollars to stock their classroom with whatever they need. So
help us say thank you to the educator shaping our future.

Com slash.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
Teachers music rolls on Mario Courtney Lopez.

Speaker 3 (07:51):
Here was something I saw and thought was kind of interesting.
If you were born in the eighties, you might notice
that a lot of common baby names came from our parents'
favorite TV shows. In movies, Heather was Big, inspired by
Heather Locklear on Dynasty. Matthew became popular after Matthew Broderick's
in Ferris Bueller Dirty Dancing, Dave Us, Jennifers, and Jennifer Gray,
who was in it. Courtney like my wife because your mom.

Speaker 5 (08:15):
I was on a soap opera.

Speaker 3 (08:16):
Saw soap opera and Courtney instead of a nice Italian
name going don't get me started well anyway, courtneying yeah
exactly spited a lot of them losing popularity over time
to starting to make a comeback. Some of the names
that are surging right now include Letty, Billy, Angie, all
that Courtney kind of sound Rocky, and Heath and Benny

(08:39):
for the boys. I haven't seen too many heaths and Benny's,
but okay, Heath like the candy Boar, Yeah, I guess.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 3 (08:47):
A Mario Lopez music rolls on right after a quick
reminder that the twenty twenty five Global Citizen Festival is
returning to Central Park September twenty seventh with an incredible lineup.
Weekend Shakida all of Us said, I heard radio how
to support Global Citizen is the exclusive US audio partner,
and you don't want to miss the show. Tickets are free,
just have to take action to earn them, so download

(09:07):

(09:28):
music coming your ways and get ready to dig into
our mentions to see what's on your mind. Questions, comments,
random thoughts, song requests, whatever you got.

Speaker 5 (09:35):
Add on with Mario on Facebook and x at on
with Mario Lopez on Instagram. We're back to see what
I have found for us. Next Quordo coming up.

Speaker 3 (09:46):
Time to dig in our mentions to see what's on
your mind. You're all, Mario Courtney Lopez love hearing from you.
Who's this from, honey?

Speaker 5 (09:52):
This is from at Nathan Daniels and he said August already.
September is next week. Happy Birthday, Lopez. Time to pick
out Halloween often and start your Christmas shopping.

Speaker 3 (10:01):
Happy New Year, everybody. You know what. It sounds crazy,
but Nathan Daniels is actually onto something. It seems like
from this point, even though we're only halfway to the year,
it starts to really fly by.

Speaker 5 (10:11):
No, this year has flown by so far, and now
it's just we're gonna blink and it's gonna be over.

Speaker 3 (10:17):
Well, here's the thing. We're predominantly through summer, and we've
had a relatively tame summer here in La The weather's
been pretty beautiful. So does that mean we're going to
have an what do they call it? An Indian summer?

Speaker 1 (10:27):
Later on?

Speaker 3 (10:28):
It's going to get hotter come fall. Well, we've dealt
with that the last few years, like October, even around
Thanksgiving it's like hot. Yeah, no, it's true.

Speaker 5 (10:36):
Did you see his shadow?

Speaker 1 (10:37):
Ooh more Mario Lopez coming up?

Speaker 2 (10:40):
Palmrio Lopez?

Speaker 3 (10:41):
So can you tell what is AI and what isn't?
Concerns about what to believe are growing, yet a new
study reveals that eighty five percent of people are still
confident in their ability to detect AI generated content. But
the reality is that the success rate of even some
of the most tech savvy folks is closer to only
forty percent, and that seems even high to me. One
thing almost all of us agree on, though, is the

(11:02):
need for AI generated content to require labeling. However, there's
one percent of the population who says it is not needed.
Those are people who just want to argue, Yeah, a
lot of people also secretly use it in the workplace.
We're going to get into that next, but first, more music.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
So are you secretly using AI at work?

Speaker 3 (11:19):
If you are, then you're definitely not the only one.

Speaker 1 (11:21):
What up?

Speaker 2 (11:21):
Mario Lopez here.

Speaker 3 (11:22):
A new survey says a surprising number of people are
using AI tools on the job, even if the boss
hasn't signed off. Some say it's helping way more than
it's urning, with folks saving time, cutting costs, and even
feeling better about the work they're doing. From drafting emails,
crunching numbers to brainstorming and summarizing ideas, AI is becoming
a lot of people's secret coworker. Absolutely, it is such

(11:44):
an essential tool, and even teens are using it to
start businesses, tech savvy teens, the smart ones. I'm telling you,
I get mad that my mom didn't have me later
in life, because I would have been crushing this YouTube game.
This influencer, uninfluenced you were like, you're like the og
influencer before, like social media, Like just I used to

(12:05):
have to drive two and a half to three hours
for a five minute audition. That part of it, that's
part of it, Like being able to send in a
self tape or something not just a self tape. Now
you can create your own content and business like these
little YouTube kids. You're making millions of dollars.

Speaker 2 (12:18):
That's killing me.

Speaker 3 (12:19):
However, with your work ethic, you would rush it exactly. However,
it is scary if you think about professions like doctors.
You don't want your doctor to get his degree with
AI when it comes surgery time, no or even law.
You want somebody to know what they're doing. I mean
engineering architecture. You they got to know what they're doing

(12:41):
with that kind of stuff. John AI to help there
the jobs that could potentially endangered falling down. You don't
want your body to deteriorate you. You need to get
a handle on it. You guys learned the right way.

Speaker 1 (12:54):
Mario Lopez will be right.

Speaker 2 (12:56):
Back, Mario Lopez.

Speaker 3 (12:57):
Here.

Speaker 2 (12:58):
Music rolls on after some quick food. Fast food dropping
some wild.

Speaker 3 (13:01):
New flavors on us, and honestly, some of them are
pretty interesting. There's a thin mint Frosty at Windy's that
sounds pretty good. Actually, I love Frosti's, but I don't
like mint inc. I like Minton chip, so I love
mintschip ice cream. There's also a loaded Nashville Hot Fries
Bowl at KC. That sounds good too, and like you'll

(13:22):
be having rubble in the jungle later in your stomach.
Taco Bells back with garlic, nacho fries, stack with steak. Okay,
if you're a fan of Popeyes, have got a pickle
glazed chicken sandwich with the signature Southern kick. A lot
of pickle theme action going on right here. All right,
I'm down to try all of these. All right, let's
get back to these.

Speaker 2 (13:41):
Almar Lopez.

Speaker 3 (13:42):
iHeartRadio bringing an exclusive interview with Adam Levini and you
can check the video out now on iHeartRadio's YouTube channel
as Adam talks Maroon five's new album Love Is Like.

Speaker 2 (13:52):
They're excitement about.

Speaker 3 (13:52):
Returners to the iHeartRadio Music Festival and how he approaches
curating the ultimate tour setlist. Onmrio dot com for the
linkclusively from iHeartRadio and on with Mark.

Speaker 2 (14:04):
Jean mar Courney.

Speaker 3 (14:04):
Lopez TV is still dominating over movies when it comes
to quality and consumption. It's like that meme that mocks
how people will shut her at the idea of watching
a two hour movie but have no issue diving into
a ten hour binge session of a series. Anyway, ran
across this list from Rolling Stone, who's attempted to rank
the best TV episodes of all time. Oh interesting, okay.

Speaker 5 (14:25):
Here's their top five. Number five Seinfeld the contest. It
was in nineteen ninety two, and it gave us the
phrase master of your Domain.

Speaker 2 (14:34):
So very funny episode.

Speaker 3 (14:35):
But right off the bat, you gotta start putting a
comedy list and a drama list. Rolling Stone, you can't
combine the two. It's too difficult to.

Speaker 2 (14:45):
Jumble in that.

Speaker 3 (14:45):
There's also way too many shows in each genre, so
you should do it by genre. But of course Rolling
Stones sucks, so go ahead.

Speaker 5 (14:52):
Well, it's Rolling Away. Number four of The Sopranos College.
It was in season one. Tony tracks on a rat
while taking Meadow on a tour of colleges in Maine,
and Carmela spends attempting night with father Phil Sawid.

Speaker 3 (15:08):
Episode really sort of set the tone for the rest
of the series. And of course it's a.

Speaker 5 (15:14):
Drama The Leftovers. Number three International Assassin. That's from season two.
Justin Thurau swallows a lethal dose of poison and hallucinates
that he's a hired killer.

Speaker 3 (15:24):
I can't really comment on this because I haven't seen
the show, but oh, that's a hell of a hallucination.

Speaker 5 (15:28):
Yes, the Simpsons last exit to Springfield, coming in at
number two. This is from back nineteen ninety three when
Lisa needs new braces. Homer leads the nuclear plant employees
on a straight wow all right and coming in at
number one. Give me that drum roll. Breaking Bad Os

(15:49):
Medaeus Ozzi Mandias season five, Skyler and Flynn have finally
realized who Walt has becommon. Jesse learns that wa was
responsible for Jane's death.

Speaker 3 (16:03):
I have no problem with this Breaking Bad episode as
well as the Sopranos, but the red wedding from Game
of Thrones not being here that I'll never forget. We
were living at Kempton and our old house. I was
watching Late Night. I literally sat up from my couch.
I'm like, whoa, what just happened?

Speaker 2 (16:19):
No TV shows maybe.

Speaker 3 (16:20):
Ever do that?

Speaker 5 (16:21):
Really, that's the only one.

Speaker 3 (16:22):
You wanted to talk about it. Not even the Sinelli
of Elf. Nope, not even fever Lake. That's a movie.

Speaker 1 (16:28):
More Mario Lopez on the way, You're Mario Lopez. Time
for one last thing.

Speaker 3 (16:35):
There's a new comment in our Solar System that was
discovered a few weeks ago. Scientists say it's an interstellar object,
meaning it originates from outside of our solar system. One
scientist from Harvard says there's evidence to believe that it's
actually an alien spacecraft. Come on, I believe it.

Speaker 2 (16:50):
He says.

Speaker 3 (16:50):
The odds of a comet of this size existing is
extremely low, and the object appears to be aiming towards
the inner Solar System as well, almost as if it's
being steel. NASAs classify the object known as Atlas as
a comment, ooh, that's very very interesting. It sounds like
something from a movie. What are we supposed to do
with this information?

Speaker 2 (17:11):
Are we supposed to stress out?

Speaker 3 (17:12):
Is it gonna hit our solar system? I don't know.
I still got to pay rent in a couple of weeks. Yeah, exactly,
unless it's gonna cut People keep saying these times it
looks like the end of times, this and that, and
I'm just always answered with can I finish my backyard
before the end? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (17:26):
Honestly more.

Speaker 1 (17:27):
Mario Lopez coming up, Well, this Tuesday is done.

Speaker 3 (17:32):
So Mario Lopez here saying good night, thank you so
much for hanging out with us, we are back tomorrow
for more fun Til then music rolls on Loud
