Max as Taylor Swift versus Scooter Braun Bad Blood. It's
a talk about the three hundred million dollar dispute between
Taylor and the music executive who acquired her music.
Speaker 2 (00:43):
Well, that turned out to backfire on him. He has
now recently retired from music. I think a big reason
of that was the way this was handled.
Speaker 4 (00:50):
Really do you think he lost I think.
Speaker 2 (00:52):
He lost a lot of money and even more than that,
the respect from other artists because of the move from
that he did with Taylor and all that.
Speaker 3 (01:01):
So that just hurt his business.
Speaker 5 (01:03):
Wow.
Speaker 4 (01:03):
Wow, Hulu has season three of shore Z. A national
senior hockey tournament begins and the Bulldogs are hurt.

Hurry You're on Mario Courtney Lopez.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
And I was a big fan of professional wrestling back
in the day, so I was excited to finally watch
The Iron Claw with zat Ephron and Jeremy Allen White.
It's a true story about the von Eig brothers, who
really became iconic in the wrestling world. They were a
wrestling family dynasty. But my gosh, if you didn't know
(02:12):
this was a true story and you just saw it
as a film, you wouldn't believe that much tragedy could
happen to one family.
Speaker 3 (02:18):
In short, And it's not like.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
I'm giving spoilers because this has been out there for
decades now. They had five boys, four of which died
and the parents had to bury. Can you imagine. One
died as a young child due to a medical condition.
The other one died because his intestine burst while he
was in Japan and he was in the bathroom and
you couldn't get help in time. The other one had
(02:41):
a simple shoulder surgery, but somehow there was a mistake
with the anesthesia put him into a coma. He got depressed,
took his own life. The other one had a motorcycle
accident where he lost a leg, couldn't deal with the
depression or the pain, took.
Speaker 3 (02:55):
His own life.
Speaker 2 (02:55):
My gosh, So it's and then the one ended up
being married to his sweetheart for forty years and they
have four kids, and now his parents and everyone lives
together on their ranch.
Speaker 3 (03:08):
But man, it was just so tragic.
Speaker 2 (03:10):
And I went home and I told you, honey, you know,
I'm glad we maybe stopped at three kids, because more
kids you have, the more drama that could possibly happen.
Speaker 4 (03:18):
Well, the more chances and the more chances.
Speaker 3 (03:20):
But man, and this was a loving family, so it
wasn't like this. And the fan and the brothers were
real close. It was just like they were cursed exactly.
Speaker 4 (03:27):
I was gonna say, It's just they had a bad
stream of luck.
Speaker 3 (03:32):
Yes, incredibly bad.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
And the guys did a good job in the movie too,
so congrats to them. More Mario Lopez Coming up, Mario
and Courtney Lopez here with more details from Travis Scott's
recent arrest. Police say the disturbance happened at one of
the yachts in Miami Beach Marina. Scott was standing by
the dock yelling at the people.
Speaker 3 (03:52):
In the boat. Cop says his breath smelled like booze.
Speaker 2 (03:55):
He's been charged with trespassing and disorderly intoxication. Less than
I'm month ago, he got in a fight with Cher's boyfriend.
Oh I don't I don't remember that one over Cher.
Who knows, but yo, Travis, we got to watch the
intake there, Pal, Yeah, well, why were you young?
Speaker 4 (04:12):
Of these people on the boat? I want to know
did they do something?
Speaker 3 (04:15):
We're going to have to follow up on this story
right now. Let's get back to the music.
Speaker 2 (04:19):
Mario Courtney Lopez here with the quick Congrats to Jenna Duan.
She's just given birth to her third child, a second
with fiance Steve Kazi. It's a girl, Rihannon Lee Catherine
Kazi O late. That's a lot of names right there.

ten year old daughter already, her name is Everlely, with
Channing Tatum and a four year old son callum.
Speaker 3 (04:41):
Okay, it's a full house.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
Congrats. All right, let's get back to the music from
US see Movies with Mario Courtney Lopez. Let's take a
look at what's new in theaters and streaming this weekend.
Speaker 4 (04:50):
The Bike Riders, it's in theaters. Austin Butler and Tom
Hardy are part of a fictional motorcycle club in the
nineteen sixties Midwest. You know, I saw the trailer for
this and I actually thought like that looks like a
pretty good movie. And then I saw them interview Austin
Butler on the Red Carpet and he still speaks like Elvis,
and I was immediately turned off he does.
Speaker 2 (05:13):
And I like Austin Butler, but my guy is I
thought he went through some sort of detox program.
Speaker 4 (05:18):
To get rid of those like It turned me away,
like it's a turn off.
Speaker 3 (05:21):
It's like, oh no, he's full on much. He's very
very elvius. And it's like, yes, you're exactly right.
Speaker 4 (05:30):
Not that you wanted my two cents, but I just.
Speaker 3 (05:32):
Know that's exactly right. I do like Tom Hardy a
lot too, my fellow jiu jitsu guy.
Speaker 4 (05:36):
The Exorcism in Theaters, Russell Crowe is an actor who
begins to unravel while shooting a horror film.
Speaker 2 (05:43):
Love Me Some Russell Crowe. He went down to Australia,
great actor. We went back to Australia, started eating a lot, says.
Speaker 6 (05:49):
I'll just do these and I feel like after three
hundred he gained three hundreds.
Speaker 3 (05:52):
Yes, my guys, he's you know what, he's living his
best life.
Speaker 4 (05:55):
Well, this is something you guys aren't practicing, kinds of kindness.
It's in theaters at a Stone, Jesse Plemmons, and Willem
Dafoe star in three loosely connected tales about a man
trying to take charge of his own life.
Speaker 2 (06:10):
It's a good cast and it's the same director that
directed her in the last movie where she won an oscar.
Speaker 3 (06:16):
It's sort of offbeat. It looks really dark, so yeah, interesting.
Speaker 4 (06:21):
And trigger warning. It's on Netflix. It's described as a
female first Blood starring Jessica Alba.
Speaker 3 (06:27):
Wait, hold on a second, because it's going on an
ice stag.
Speaker 2 (06:30):
Wait hold on, no, no, first, but no, I'm talking
about the description female first Blood. Come on, like stallone
In First Blood, he was an ex Vietnam vet and
he was out here like killing pigs with a knife
and staying warm with their palt She's not doing any
of that. She's just because I saw the trailer and
recently interviewed her. It's more like it's more like Geena
(06:51):
Davis and Last Kid, Kiss good Night, sort of like
a CIA kind.
Speaker 3 (06:55):
Of deal like that. That's a funny description. Like it's
still like it's Lord, don't get crazy.
Speaker 1 (07:02):
More Mario Lopez coming.
Speaker 3 (07:03):
Up, wile Courtney Lopez.
Speaker 2 (07:06):
You're finding a reason to celebrate every single day what
is today's holiday, honey.
Speaker 4 (07:10):
Welcome Back World Handshake Day.
Speaker 2 (07:13):
Some of these handshakes get really intricate. Our kids were
starting to do some pretty cool little handshakes.
Speaker 3 (07:20):
Do you know where the high five was invented?
Speaker 1 (07:22):
No?
Speaker 2 (07:22):
Right here in La Dodger Stadium. Dusty Baker really the
high five, which is really a handshake but kind of
goes into a handshake sometimes.
Speaker 6 (07:33):
Do you think he thought it would take off? He
was like, this is going to be the next big thing.
Speaker 2 (07:37):
It was actually one of his teammates after hitting home run,
came and they gave each other high fives, and then
the whole team started doing it. And then after the
whole team started doing it, everyone start today right here
in La Dodger Stadium.
Speaker 4 (07:50):
The Hei Woo a walking fun fact book.
Speaker 3 (07:53):
I'm a fun factory.

Speaker 3 (09:11):
Wow, that's good.
Speaker 1 (09:14):
More Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 4 (09:45):
Gonna be fun, that's for sure, So come and say hello.
Speaker 2 (09:48):
Yes, Mario Lopez here, just a few more songs until
today's gaz Zoom's in. It's actor Ryan Guzman from nine
to one one, season seven just wrapped.
Speaker 4 (10:07):
Up, but he's also in this new kid's adventure called
The Present, and we'll get into that net.
Speaker 2 (10:13):
It's uby Al Mario Lopez joining me now on Zoom
from nine to one one in the new movie The Present,
actor Ryan Guzman.
Speaker 3 (10:20):
Welcome to the show man, I then.
Speaker 7 (10:22):
Oh, man, always a pleasure to see your face. Brother.
I've been great, man.
Speaker 5 (10:25):
I can't complain living in gratitude and just taking my
time with my kids as of late.
Speaker 3 (10:31):
Oh that's the best. I want to get to that
in a second. But meanwhile, congrats on the new movie
The Present. It looks like a fun kids type of adventure. Well,
what's it about.
Speaker 7 (10:40):
Yeah, so it's a nice family film.
Speaker 5 (10:43):
It's about two individuals played by Greg Knear and Isla Fisher,
who happened to be getting a divorce, and in the
midst of that divorce, their kids want to save the relationship,
so they are gifted a grandfather clock that happens to
turn back time.
Speaker 7 (10:57):
I'm going to use that clock to try and men
the relationship.
Speaker 3 (11:01):
Oh I like that concept right there. And how does
your character fit in?
Speaker 5 (11:04):
So I played Richard, I play a guy hot after
Isla Fisher's character and make that he can weesel his
way in.
Speaker 3 (11:13):
Oh okay, she seems like she'd be a lot of
fun to work with.
Speaker 7 (11:16):
She was fantastic.
Speaker 1 (11:17):
Man.
Speaker 5 (11:18):
I gotta say nothing but incredible things about her because
she gave me some incredible advice off off camera and
just gave me really inspirational stuff to feed off of.
Speaker 7 (11:29):
So she was amazing.
Speaker 2 (11:30):
Oh that's great. Well, congrats on that. The present is
available now on demand. Got to take a little break, man,
but we're gonna come back with Ryan Guzman just a
moment more.
Speaker 1 (11:38):
Mario Lopez coming up.
Speaker 2 (11:41):
Mario Lopez here got Ryan Guzman from nine to one
one on Zoom with me and season seven of nine
one one recently ended, and your character was having an
affair with someone who looked like his late wife.
Speaker 3 (11:53):
That's some serious soap opera vibes right there.
Speaker 2 (11:54):
But Helen Novella's Yeah, Telen Novella, for sure, man, but
also pretty emotional.
Speaker 3 (12:00):
What do you think is gonna be in store for
your character season eight?
Speaker 7 (12:04):
Probably a lot of drama.
Speaker 5 (12:05):
I mean, that's what we thrive, right So I'm guessing
that you know, his whole foundation, my character, Eddie, his
foundation has been ripped from him. His kids no longer there,
he doesn't have any relationship. He said goodbye to his
deceased wife now a billion times. So now it's probably
(12:25):
going to be him finding himself all over again in
a new landscape.
Speaker 7 (12:30):
And what I think might happen.
Speaker 5 (12:32):
And I'm no writer, but I would think that it's
kind of relatable to when in such chaos you try
and escape. So he's going to want to escape somewhere.
And whether that's a healthy escape or a non healthy
escape to be determined.
Speaker 2 (12:48):
Yeah, we'll be looking for that this fall. Hank tight
gott to play some more music right now. Mario Lopez
hanging out today's guest actor.
Speaker 3 (12:55):
Ryan Guzmant, and I didn't know this man.
Speaker 2 (12:58):
You're also an artist, brother, Like, well, what in what
sense of painting or sculpting or.
Speaker 7 (13:05):
All the above. I like mixed media.
Speaker 5 (13:08):
I dabble and damn near everything, but I think artist
is a generalized term.
Speaker 7 (13:13):
So for me, what artist is is just a storyteller.
Speaker 5 (13:17):
So I'm just trying to tell my stories, whether it's
you know, on the canvas or sculpting or you know,
as an actor, even martial arts. To be honest, I'm
telling a version of my story. Yeah, I'm allowing myself
to fight through something or letting something take over me.
So all of it is encompassing of who I am
and what I like to do.
Speaker 7 (13:37):
But just recently I felt a little bit more confident
with sharing my art.
Speaker 2 (13:44):
Nice good for you, No, I agree too. The martial
arts is definitely a creative outlet, both physically, therapeutically.
Speaker 3 (13:52):
Emotionally all of the above. Well, I want to talk
more about that before let's play some more music.
Speaker 2 (13:57):
Jan mari A Lopez, my guest today is actually Ryan
goose On, and you're looking in great, shay Man.
Speaker 3 (14:01):
You're still training a lot.
Speaker 7 (14:02):
When we're gonna get back to it, brother, Like.
Speaker 3 (14:04):
Let's do it.
Speaker 6 (14:05):
Let me know.
Speaker 1 (14:05):
Let me know.
Speaker 3 (14:06):
I was all jacked up for a minute. I had
a bad pinch nerve and I couldn't train for a
few months. But I'm kind of.
Speaker 2 (14:11):
Getting back in there, and that's good man, that's good
that you get back next.
Speaker 7 (14:15):
Pardon me, when are you sparring next?
Speaker 3 (14:17):
Shoot? I'll probably start to get in there, maybe like
a week or two.
Speaker 7 (14:20):
So uh, get a call, man, I got three weeks. Okay,
ready to do something.
Speaker 3 (14:25):
Okay, I'm around too. I'm round You rolled too?
Speaker 7 (14:27):
Right?
Speaker 3 (14:27):
Do jiu jitsu?
Speaker 7 (14:28):
Yeah? I haven't rolled in a while.
Speaker 5 (14:31):
I've been actually just doing boxing ever since we sparred.
I got more in tune with the boxing.
Speaker 7 (14:39):
The weakest.
Speaker 3 (14:39):
Where are you training at right now?
Speaker 5 (14:42):
It's just still like sity out tongue or just by
myself with a bunch of brother that fight. So it's
whenever I can get the rounds in with whoever.
Speaker 3 (14:49):
Perfect man, Hey, I'm around this next week. Let me know.
Let me all the schedule looks.
Speaker 7 (14:52):
If you're around, brother, Yes, new gloves.
Speaker 3 (14:55):
Okay, sounds good.
Speaker 2 (14:56):
Way, got one more thing I want to ask you,
but we gotta take a little break. I'm gonna wrap
it up, Ryan Guzman just a moment.
Speaker 1 (15:01):
You're the full interview now at on with Mario dot Com.
More Mario Lopez on the way.
Speaker 2 (15:07):
Mario Lopez there wrapping things up with actor Ryan Guzman
and how old.
Speaker 7 (15:11):
Are the kids again? Three and five? Yeah, that's my
life right there.
Speaker 3 (15:15):
It's fun. Huh, it's fun. Are they are they?
Speaker 1 (15:18):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (15:18):
Because we had talked for a little bit, are they
Are they getting into any sort of kind of activities?
Speaker 3 (15:22):
Just so interested in getting them in wrestling and stuff.
Speaker 5 (15:25):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, So I would love to get my
little girl because her balance is a little off and
I think wrestling could be very advantageous for her that
in gymnastics maybe. But my son, you know, he's a
ball of energy. You know, you have two sons, so
and I watch your kids, man, I want my kid
to like learn from that as well. So uh yeah,
(15:46):
just getting them in tune with their bodies and allowing
them to play at this stage, because I think one
to seven is that that good range to fall in
love with that state of play and develop that structure
slowly but surely. So yeah, we're seeing what Tao is
interested in or not, and showed a heavy interest in
soccer and whitesaie.
Speaker 2 (16:06):
Well, if you want to still have my guy, hook
up with him, man, I'm telling you he's great. I
think your kids will love it. It's great for their
confidence as well as all the other things you mentioned.
So yeah, let me know and let me know when
we'll get together. Meanwhile, congratulations on everything, and listen. The
Present is available now on digital and on demand.
Speaker 3 (16:24):
Ryan, thanks for hanging out.
Speaker 7 (16:25):
Hit me up, all right, brother, all right up soon, all.
Speaker 3 (16:28):
Right, take care.
Speaker 2 (16:29):
Mario Courtney Lopez here with your final reminder about this
week's sweepsticks.
Speaker 3 (16:33):
We're sending one winter and a guest to Las Vegas
to see Hoodi and the Blowfish Live.
Speaker 4 (16:37):
We're talking about round trip airfare, two nights at the
Fountain Blue concert tickets plus one hundred and fifty dollars
for food. The Fountain Blue is a great way to
enjoy Las Vegas. One hundred and fifty thousand square feet
of gaming space. How fun is that?
Speaker 3 (16:50):
Big?
Speaker 4 (16:50):
Thanks to them for providing the prizes. Get in on
this now and find the rules and entry form at
onimarrio dot com.
Speaker 2 (16:59):
You are Mario Courtney as time not for a fake
debate where the topics are made upon the spot, but
the passion is very real.
Speaker 3 (17:04):
Who's pro and who's con?
Speaker 7 (17:05):
Today?
Speaker 6 (17:06):
What do you want to be?
Speaker 7 (17:07):
Courtney?
Speaker 4 (17:08):
Con I think I was pro last time.
Speaker 6 (17:09):
You will be con. Mario will be pro. You'll have
fifteen seconds make your case, ten second rebuttal. Your topic
today is singing along to songs in public without actually
knowing the lyrics, just like this bit get.
Speaker 7 (17:25):
What but that me?
Speaker 5 (17:27):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (17:28):
Oh my gosh, singing along in public without knowing the
lyrics to the song, I am pro. Here's the thing
about music, It's all subjective. It's artistic. If you want
to change the lyrics up and it inspires you to
create your own lyrics, that was the intention of the artist.
That means it's a hit. Congrats, Corney.
Speaker 4 (17:49):
Nothing is more embarrassing than parents of a teenager who
think they know the lyrics to a song but don't.
And the last thing I want to do is embarrass
my daughter and I have her disown me.
Speaker 6 (18:03):
I don't believe the last thing you want to do
is a barrass her daughter, mister Lopez.
Speaker 2 (18:06):
The thing about lyrics is these songs, if it motivates you,
to make the lyrics your own.
Speaker 3 (18:14):
Yourself. Are now an artist.
Speaker 2 (18:16):
You are creating the music and that's what it's all about,
inspiring people.
Speaker 3 (18:21):
Thank you.
Speaker 4 (18:22):
You know the game, finish the lyrics. You need to
finish the lyrics and not make up your own. They
will not give you any props.
Speaker 3 (18:28):
Well, we're not paying that game one week.
Speaker 6 (18:31):
Well so you think one.
Speaker 7 (18:32):
I don't want Mario.
Speaker 1 (18:33):
More fun on the way on with Mario Lopez.
Speaker 3 (18:36):
You're a Mario Courtney Lopez.
Speaker 2 (18:38):
And before we take off of the weekend, we're gonna
give you the final word with our comment of the week.
Speaker 3 (18:42):
What do we got her?
Speaker 4 (18:43):
This is from at Zara Raheem and they said Apple's
finally adding a send later option for text, which is
a big win for people like me who exclusively think
of messages I need to send at three thirty am.
Speaker 3 (18:55):
That's great.
Speaker 2 (18:55):
It is great because I often get certain ideas or
or things that I want to get off my mind
before I forget, and sometimes I'll just text it but
won't hit scent and then I'll forget to hit sad
later on.
Speaker 3 (19:10):
So now if you can do a timer like calendar,
that's great.
Speaker 4 (19:12):
Oh, that is great.
Speaker 1 (19:14):
Want to be the tweet of the week. The tweet
us on with Mario and hang on, Mario Lopez. We'll
be right back.
Speaker 3 (19:21):
All right, We're out of here, full steam aheaded of
the weekend.
Speaker 2 (19:24):
We're back on Monday with DJ Cassidy and all the
latest Hollywood buzz.
Speaker 4 (19:27):
Until then, this is Mario and Courtney Lopez saying good night.
Speaker 1 (19:31):
Loud with Mario Lopez
