docu series that follows a group of young Hawaiian locals
as they navigate adulthood, love, a heartbreak, and friendship, all
while celebrating their culture and defying their parents' expectations on
the island of o Wahu.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
You're going to navigate those difficult things. What better place
than Hawaii to do it?

Speaker 4 (00:59):
Right exactly. Netflix begins streaming Victoria Beckham, a new three
part docuseriies offering a front row seat to the life
of the fashion icon and former Spice Scale from her
early days to her success building her fashion and beauty empires.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
Okay, hopefully she'll get to show her fun personality.

Speaker 5 (01:17):
Hopefully David pops so correct some of the things that
she tells, Like in the David Beckham one, when she
was like, we were very poor growing up, Yes, she.

Speaker 4 (01:25):
Was the comedic relief.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
Yes, and that one, well, she was kind of the
comedic relief. He would just bust her chops in stuff.
She's lot when she allows herself, she just doesn't like
to smile because she doesn't like her smile.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
She says, me too, you have a pretty smile.

Speaker 6 (01:38):
No.

Speaker 4 (01:39):
Abc is kicking off season twenty two of Grey's Anatomy,
as well as new seasons of both nine one one
and nine one one Nashville.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
A Lot of Emergencies happening nine one nine one one Nashville.
Good Luck Kids, While Courtney Lopez here with a quick
look at the buzz. Def Leppard honored with a star
on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Bon Jovi even there
to honor the band.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
Their star is.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
Located in front of the iconic Capitol Records building. That's
where a lot of the musicians get honored. Yeah, that's
obviously an historical landmark. I Love Me Some Death Leopard photograph,
one of the earlier songs, was probably one of my
favorites singing when I was a kid. He seems really high,

(02:21):
Joe Elliott.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Don't it's very very high. That's very high. Congratulations deaf Leopard.

Speaker 4 (02:27):
All R.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
Let's get back to music. You're all Maril Courtney Lopez.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
Every week, my wife likes to share little hacks to
make your life easier in Cordo's Corner, and it is
time for today's hack.

Speaker 3 (02:38):
What you got for us, honey?

Speaker 4 (02:39):
Oh this is great. This is a quick way to
find a photo you're looking for on your iPhone.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
Oh my gosh, I need to pay attention.

Speaker 4 (02:45):
Yes you do. You don't pay attention to my other hacks?

Speaker 3 (02:49):
Pertains to me.

Speaker 4 (02:50):
Okay, Well, we know we all have thousands and thousands
of photos on our phone, and sometimes you want to
find one real quick without having to scroll back for
days and day because you're always asking me, honey, send
me this picture correctly. So just go to your photos
on your phone, okay, click the maps icon and then
you can zoom into certain areas to find the photo

(03:11):
you want. So if you know the photo was taken
at a certain place like Dodger Stadium for example, this
will narrow down the photos for you, then you can
maybe only have to scroll through one hundred photos instead
of five thousand.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
Wow, that is solid. Okay, I am taking this to
the bank.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
Come out for Mario Lopez coming up?

Speaker 3 (03:32):

Speaker 3 (04:15):
Is we're celebrating hunting.

Speaker 4 (04:16):
Yes, it is a National Sneaker Day.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
I've always loved sneakers, but more so as I've gotten older.
Now I incorporate the dress sneaker into suits, even.

Speaker 4 (04:26):
A TUCCEEDO believe you more like ath leisure.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
Well, no, you're not really doing anything athletic in it.
Fancy fancy leisure.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
It's yes, it's a leisure because you don't want the
hard souls.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
The dress sneaker is.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
The way to go, especially as you get older. They're
really comfortable. I rocked him at the King Sinata was
able to dance all night.

Speaker 4 (04:44):
Yes, and also too, you've recently, fun fact, have gone
away from high tops. Now you only want low tops.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
I'll tell you why.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
I'll tell you why I have only because high tops
when you're I've been in such a hurry and my
schedule is so crazy. It's a paint of the butt
with the ankles and it's a pain in the butt.
I need to just I need to just kind of
slip them on lowtops you kind of get slip them on,
leave them tied, and slip them on the hye tops.

Speaker 3 (05:07):
You can't do that move.

Speaker 5 (05:08):
I feel like you're you're a few years away from
Velcrow instead of super Well, speaking of.

Speaker 4 (05:13):
That, speaking of Velcrow, I was gonna say, those are
the easiest one I have to dress, Sonny. But the
worst is putting high tops on toddlers.

Speaker 3 (05:23):
Oh I'm sure, yeah, they're probably kicking and stuff.

Speaker 4 (05:25):
So but again it's full so it's almost back to.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
The Velcure, right.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
I'm over the high tops show.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
I'm more into the low taps. Wow. That's wow.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
You're a Maril Courtney Lopez quickly squeezing in some October
ninth birthdays as.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
Always, very just gonn shout them out. We're gonna ty
to get the ages Bella Hadid Supermodel. Bella is thirty three,
thirty one, twenty nine.

Speaker 5 (05:50):
Okay, not even third level yet. Germo del Toro The
Shape of Water sixty one sixty one's correct. I think
you also read it Pinocchio or reimagined it. I have
watched that yet, but it looked terrifying. Uh, Michael Scott Bacula.

Speaker 4 (06:04):
Is he Dracula's brother?

Speaker 3 (06:05):
No, he's Scott Bacula. Ummmm, he goes by Michael Scott Vacula.
Now he changed it or something. Yeah, well he.

Speaker 4 (06:13):
Is counting his way into we're leaping quantum leaping fifty.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
Multiple bad jokes there. Fifty is incorrect. No, he is
sixty four, he's seventy one.

Speaker 4 (06:25):
He looks amazing and from Empire.

Speaker 3 (06:29):
That's why I don't show a few times Sharon Osborne.
I'm gonna say Sharon is sixty seven.

Speaker 4 (06:35):
Sharon is seventy five.

Speaker 3 (06:36):
Seventy three?

Speaker 2 (06:37):
Wow, Moore, Mario Lopez on the way, Olimorrow, Courtney Lopez.
If you're looking for some date night inspiration, there's a
new dating trend going viral called choremancing. That's when you
combine everyday tasks together with date night. You could walk
the dog, do your weekly shopping, cook a meal, even
fold laundry. A new dating report from Plenty of Fish
says forty percent of dates now include a little bit

(06:59):
of every day life. So apparently a lot of people
are okay with it.

Speaker 3 (07:03):
I love this. I was sort of chore mancing back
in the day.

Speaker 5 (07:09):
I was ahead of the curved kid beducted taking girls
on Aaron runs.

Speaker 3 (07:15):
No, well, you.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
Do like you grab a little coffee and then you
continue it with the chormance.

Speaker 3 (07:19):
Have a meeting, you know what I mean. You go
out and you take care of stuff around that. You
could do the closet. We could do the closet. That's right.
That's right, honey, We're going on the charms to the closet.

Speaker 4 (07:30):
I'm not one of your exes. Bring into it. Bring
up my old relationship. I never on the radio.

Speaker 3 (07:41):
This is a general statement.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
More Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
Olborrow Courtney Lopez keeping all this great music coming your ways.
We get ready to fire up zoom so we can
chat with actress Scott Patterson, going to get the scoop

my friend. This week twenty fifth anniversary of your iconic show,
The Gilmore Girls.

Speaker 3 (08:29):
You guys, that little mini.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
Reunion on Hollywood Boulevard to celebrate your co star Lauren
Graham getting a star on the Walk of Fame.

Speaker 3 (08:35):
Right, Oh, it's just fantastic.

Speaker 6 (08:37):
I can't believe I'm twenty five years older. It just
goes but it's like third decade in but you know,
I'm hoping for twenty five more. It was great to
see Lauren. She much deserved well overdue tons of fans.

Speaker 3 (08:48):
What a day, What a day?

Speaker 5 (08:49):
You know.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
I just read an article where Japan, country much smaller
than ours, has over one hundred and fifty thousand citizens
living past the age of one hundred.

Speaker 3 (09:00):
That is impressive for that country. So I'm motivated now
after banking and they're obsessed with Gilmore Girls. Yes, that's
why they're living longer.

Speaker 6 (09:08):
It's got this medicinal therapeutic effect on everybody in the world.

Speaker 3 (09:11):
That's that's the reason.

Speaker 2 (09:12):
Yeah, way to bring it back, Scott, I've heard those
rumors that Gilmore Girls Christmas movie is being talked about.

Speaker 6 (09:18):
You know, that is really gaining some momentum, isn't it.
You know, Hollywood Reporter article mentioned it. Amy sort of
talked about a Christmas sort of thing and special that
Lauren repeated it, so yeah, I think and listen, I'm
not going to shut up about it until it happens,
you know me.

Speaker 3 (09:35):
So all right, Scott, ain't take quick break.

Speaker 2 (09:37):
We're going to come back with some more Scott Patterson.

Speaker 1 (09:39):
More fun on the way on with Mario Lopez.

Speaker 2 (09:42):
Getting back to Scott Patterson's on Zoom. Mario Lopez here
and Scott. You recently relaunched your Gilmore Girls.

Speaker 3 (09:48):
Podcast this time. I like the title. It's called I'm
All in Again, right, yeah, again get.

Speaker 6 (09:54):
Into unusual that we get a second go around, but
the fans are so dedicated and they just you know,
we're giving it a little different bent this time. It's
I'm not so opinionated, I'm not talking as much, so
I think that's a good thing.

Speaker 3 (10:04):
So so we're.

Speaker 6 (10:06):
Changing up a little bit, you know, examining the music
and other aspects of the show. So it's fun.

Speaker 2 (10:11):
Good for you, all right, Well, hanging tight more with
Scott coming up first, more music, Catching up with Gilmore's Girl.
Scott Patterson, you're al mar Lopez just relaunched his Rewatch
podcast and you're also in the show. Sullivan's crossing over
on the CW's He's In four. That series was recently announced.
What's the show about For people who may have not
seen it.

Speaker 6 (10:29):
Yet, it's it's about a guy who has a daughter.
He's a strange from her. She's in Boston, her career
falls apart, she comes back to reunite. I run a
campground out in the wilderness and we've been a strange.
So it's really that struggle between father and daughter coming
back to each other. It's, you know, it's a very

(10:52):
heartfelt show. You know, my character has some issues with alcohol. Yeah,
it's kind of gritty and real that that aspect of it.
But and it's just you know, it's a beautiful shot
and it's in a beautiful part of the world, and
Nova Scotia, Halifax, Nova Scotia, and it's you know, got
some wonderful golf courses out there.

Speaker 3 (11:10):
I'm already out there.

Speaker 2 (11:11):
I've been out there for It's very pretty all right,
one more thing, I want to ask a little more music,
and we're going to come back to wrapping out, wrapping
up with actress Scott Patterson. You're all with Mario Lopez
and last thing, this is cool A lot of people
may not know this, but you were. You were a
really good Triple A pitcher back in the day. It's
a fun, little fun fact.

Speaker 3 (11:28):
Man.

Speaker 6 (11:28):
I I don't know how good I was in Triple A.
I had my struggles in Triple A. The Triple A was.
I had some good seasons in Triple A, but I
also had some bad seasons. That's that's very competitive level
and very high level.

Speaker 3 (11:42):
What were your pitches?

Speaker 6 (11:42):
Yeah, fastball primarily, and developed a nice changeup, had a
nice little slider at the end of my career, but
it was a little too late to save me, you know,
and I just, you.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
Know, I just kind of burnt out walked away. He's
got okay, You're like, you're like in the bullpen reliever.
I got it.

Speaker 6 (11:56):
I was like twenty six, you know, I don't want
to give my whole life to this.

Speaker 3 (12:00):
Yeah. Yeah, it's not working out. Let's let's do something else.

Speaker 2 (12:02):
Meanwhile, everyone go check out Scott's podcast, I'm All In Again,
which is streaming right now on iHeartRadio.

Speaker 3 (12:08):
Thanks for checking in, man, all right, Mario big well,
thank you here you too.

Speaker 1 (12:12):
You're the full interview now at on with Mario dot Com.
More Mario Lopez on the.

Speaker 2 (12:16):
Way You're a Mario, Courtney Lopez or mine you to
get your tickets Rightheart Radio Yesta Latina twenty twenty five.
It's going down Saturday, October twenty fifth at the Cassea
Center in Miami, with performances by.

Speaker 4 (12:29):
Corazon Latino Award recipient and performer Gilberto Santo Rosa, Murat Yeah,
Well Yes, Capo China, Yinacho, Elvis Crispo, and hosted by
Enrique Santo.

Speaker 2 (12:43):
Missus Lopez on Mario dot Com, Slash Yes the Latina
for all the info, to get your tickets, all a
little more music. They're going to get to a random
question Mario and Courtney Lopez here in the meantime, Cordo
is going to try to make us think with a
random thought.

Speaker 3 (12:57):
What you got, honey?

Speaker 4 (12:58):
My random thought is a few days back, we did
a random question where it was would you rather cough
bubbles or burb confetti?

Speaker 3 (13:10):
Yes? And you chose burb confetti. Burb confetti because he
said he coughs more than he burbs.

Speaker 4 (13:16):
True, but he also burbs a lot. And later that night,
Later that night, I thought it was funny because this
is just a random thing that happened, not really a
random thought. He gets up in the middle of the
night to go pee, and as he's shuffling his feet
that he doesn't pick up when he walks to the bathroom,
which makes a lot of noise, he burbs, and why

(13:37):
and why? At two am? Did I picture confetti?

Speaker 3 (13:41):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (13:41):
It was the day we did that question.

Speaker 3 (13:43):
Did you wake up the next day find confetti on
the floor?

Speaker 1 (13:45):
No?

Speaker 4 (13:45):
But I pictured it because he said he would burb
confetti and that made me think of that at two am.

Speaker 3 (13:51):
More importantly, did you laugh?

Speaker 4 (13:52):
I don't remember if I laughed.

Speaker 3 (13:54):
I bet you laughed in your sleep.

Speaker 4 (13:55):
I probably did.

Speaker 2 (13:57):
You're just like full on fabricating stuff. It's wild Almar
Courtney Lopez keeping the music in fun coming your way
as Quardo tries to make us think with a random question,
what you.

Speaker 3 (14:09):
Got, honey?

Speaker 6 (14:10):
All right?

Speaker 4 (14:10):
Would you rather be able to read minds but with
a thirty second delay or be able to see ten
minutes into the future but only on a Tuesday.

Speaker 2 (14:19):
Oh, that's a fascinating question. I'm pausing to really think
about this. I think the benefit would be read minds
with a thirty second delay, because You can apply it
to so many different things. Gambling, for example.

Speaker 3 (14:36):
Well you do that on Tuesdays. If you could see
ten minutes in the future, you're just limited.

Speaker 2 (14:40):
Well ten minutes though, yeah, but thirty seconds. If you're
a baseball player, you know what pitch is coming. That's different.
And again I'm not playing baseball right now.

Speaker 3 (14:49):
That was not a solid example.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
I would just think knowing what's coming out of someone's
mouth thirty seconds before would help you in conversations.

Speaker 3 (14:58):
You could beat them to the punch.

Speaker 2 (14:59):
Yeah, and this is a significant amount of time, But
thirty seconds all the time, that would be uh, I
think more beneficial.

Speaker 1 (15:05):
Mario Lopez returns.

Speaker 2 (15:07):
After this scary movie season in full swing. What a
Mario Courtney Lopez here. Free Forum already has their thirty
one Nights of Halloween running, which includes classics like The
Adams Family.

Speaker 3 (15:17):
To Disney favorites like Hocus Focus and Halloween Town on Peacock.

Speaker 4 (15:21):
You can stream The Mummy. Get Out is available on Hulu,
HBO Max has Silence of the Lambs and Blair Witch
Project is currently on Prime Video, and to Be has
fever Lake.

Speaker 3 (15:33):
That's true, that's true, all right, you let's get back to.

Speaker 2 (15:39):
So close to the end of the nine for us,
Mario Lopez, you gotta squeeze in one last thing. We'd
love to squeeze in a request or two before we
get out of here.

Speaker 4 (15:46):
Got something you want to hear? Slide into our dms
over on Instagram at On with Mario Lopez and please
click follow to join the family.

Speaker 3 (15:55):
Sob'll Mario Courtney Lopez. Time for one last thing.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
And I was a little reluctant to share this, but
you know it's it's uh, it's a fact of life.
And and I think it brings good awareness because people
may be reluctant themselves to get the procedure done. And
what I'm talking about is a kolonoscopy. I had my
first this past week.

Speaker 3 (16:16):
Hey, thank you very much about that age. Clap for that. Yeah,
we should clap. You're sure we do a clap for that.

Speaker 2 (16:22):
And here's the thing. I don't know why I was reluctant.
I just I don't know. I guess it's admitting you're
you get to a certain age. By the way, that
age is now forty five, they're going backwards.

Speaker 3 (16:32):
Way you would, so you're seven years late. Correct.

Speaker 2 (16:34):
They just started with the forty five, like the past
year ago about a past year they started.

Speaker 3 (16:39):
It was fifty Originally it was That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (16:41):
They just started with forty five because they're detecting a
lot more men, specifically at younger ages, that are developing
co and cancer. And by getting a lenoscopy, they see
if there's any polyps or anything else in there.

Speaker 3 (16:54):
That's preventative and highly preventive.

Speaker 2 (16:57):
And you can say and you can save lives because
unfortunate if you get too late, it's just that too late,
and there's nothing you can do. And I got to
say the procedure itself, because they put you under, you
don't feel a thing and you wake up just groggy,
but not in any sort of paint whatsoever.

Speaker 3 (17:14):
However, the most grueling part is the day before the prep.

Speaker 2 (17:17):
The prep is ridiculous because I've never had problems going
to the restaurom myself.

Speaker 3 (17:22):
I'm not trying to be sort of grosser anything. You're
one of the best at it. I'd like to think,
so thank you, but this is next level. They give
you some stuff to take and they make it. Used
to be all chalky. Now they mix it with gatorade.
You go you just you.

Speaker 2 (17:35):
You better not sneeze, you better not cough, and don't
leave your house.

Speaker 3 (17:39):
Don't leave your house. You better be a restroom so
close by.

Speaker 2 (17:41):
In the sleep worst night of sleep I've had in years.
I had to get up like ten times. Yeah, to
go to the restaurant.

Speaker 3 (17:46):
It was awful.

Speaker 2 (17:47):
But afterwards and you're groggy going you sleep well. So
it went well, I'm happy to say. But yes, it
is important that men and women for that matter.

Speaker 3 (17:55):
Get checked up.

Speaker 4 (17:56):
Well, what I will say is they said that the
prep is the most important thing because you go do
all of that, and then sometimes you get there and
you cut corners on the prep and then they can't
do what they need to do, and that might also
cut time. You're years down of coming back where it
could be ten.

Speaker 3 (18:11):
It's five correct, correct. And the prep by the way,
consists of fasting for twenty four hours, which is not
a problem.

Speaker 2 (18:17):
But you have to take this fluid that that really
cleans you out.

Speaker 3 (18:22):
Yeah, now that therein lies the problem. Yeah, they have
to be able to actually see.

Speaker 4 (18:25):
Also to piggyback. Since it's October and this should be
every month. But breast cancer awareness women get your mammograms,
because that's also you could prevent a lot of problems
by doing that.

Speaker 1 (18:36):
More Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 3 (18:40):
That's it quick. Thanks again to Scott Patterson.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
Zooming in earlier olmar dot com for my full chat
with him, including some stuff you didn't get to hear
on the air.

Speaker 4 (18:48):
More fun tomorrow, of course, we're Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Bulls must Saint John will be here. Until then it
is Mario and Courtney Lopez saying I don't talk about
my exes.
