Honey?

That's me all the time, that's me every day.
Speaker 4 (01:44):
M all right back with Courtney's cornernet.
Speaker 3 (01:48):
Megan a quick stop in Courtney's Corner for another helpful
live fact.
Speaker 4 (01:52):
What you got, honey, Well, nothing is worse than forgetting
someone's name right after meeting them. So here's what you
do if you forget. This happens to me all the time.
It happens to me after I meet someone two times,
three times, four times. It's not personal.
Speaker 2 (02:04):
I've known people my whole life. I don't know their name.
Speaker 4 (02:07):
I should just call them, but ornut well ask them
how to spell their name. And if it's something like Dan,
then you can make a joke out of it by saying, oh,
so it's only one end then, because honestly, names are
so weird nowadays. There's letters added, there's just you never
know how names could be spelled. Dan could be dah wn.
Speaker 3 (02:31):
I'm going to piggyback hack that because they're going to
know you didn't forget it, no matter how charming you are.
What you do is you grab a friend and you
approach the guy and say, hey, what's up one man,
you met my boy titty right here, and then Totty
knows to say, Hi, what's your name? Oh Dan, Nice
to meet you Dan, and he's supposed to repeat it twice,
and then you hit him back with hey Dan, good
to see you.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
I'll hit you later. You basically say it four hundred times.
Speaker 3 (02:53):
Right, and then you never say nice to meet you,
because you may have met him A ready, you say nice.
Speaker 1 (02:58):
Nice to see you, Pourmorial Lopez.
Speaker 3 (03:01):
What Elmorrow Courtney Lopez. Here's something to celebrate every day?
Speaker 2 (03:04):
What's today's holiday, Honnie?
Speaker 4 (03:06):
It is National Frozen Yogurt Day?
Speaker 3 (03:08):
Yes, I like mes, Yes, I like me some frozen yogurt.
But am I really being that much healthier choosing yogurt
over ice cream?
Speaker 2 (03:18):
Not when you cover in candy like I do, But
assuming you don't, is it that much healthier?
Speaker 1 (03:22):
Really?
Speaker 2 (03:23):
In other words, should I just go for ice creams?
Speaker 1 (03:25):
Look?
Speaker 4 (03:25):
I think when you're gonna do stuff like that and
moderations and moderation, it's okay. If you like the taste
of yogurt better, then that's that's your choice.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
Dislike it as well that much more.
Speaker 4 (03:35):
But if you're doing a healthier thing and you like
ice cream, go for the ice cream. People, yolo.

so lots to talk about with Stephen Baldwin.
Speaker 2 (04:27):
Next, it's up her with Mario Lopez joining me right now.
Actor mister Stephen Baldwin, How you doing, Stephen?
Speaker 5 (04:33):
I'm doing terrific hanging out here with you.
Speaker 2 (04:36):
Nice.
Speaker 3 (04:36):
Thank you for taking the time, and congrats. You've got
a new podcast you started this year called One Bad Movie,
and you're essentially taking a look at some of the
bad movies in Hollywood history.
Speaker 5 (04:47):
Right.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
What a fun premise.
Speaker 5 (04:50):
It's also like going to folks like you, Mario, and saying,
what's your favorite one bad movie experience. Now, let's say
there's something you did number of years ago and you
got food poisoning, but nobody knows that story. We get
these behind the scenes stories that are very unique and unusual,
and then it kind of just goes into like a cool,
fun regular interview, but just from a different angle.
Speaker 3 (05:12):
That is a very clever angle, and oh my gosh,
I've got a lot of material for you.
Speaker 5 (05:18):
That's the point. That's the point, exactly, all.
Speaker 3 (05:20):
Right, Stephen Hank Tight. We're gonna take a quick break
and come back with some more Stephen Baldwin.
Speaker 1 (05:24):
More fun on the way on with Mario Lopez.
Speaker 3 (05:27):
All Mario Lopez getting back to Stephen Baldwin, who was
on Zoom and talking about his podcast One Bad Movie.
So Steven, tell me, man, what's your mount rushmore of
bad movie experiences?
Speaker 5 (05:38):
Well, when we started One Bad Movie, Mario, the story
goes like this, I was in my car listening to
a famous actor talk about a movie that had coming out.
And you and I both know we've done those pr tours,
said the scene thing over and over again. I'm in
my car and I go, gee, wouldn't it be nice
to hear this guy talk about his one bad movie?
And I went one bad Movie? Wow, that's weird. And
then talk to my team and they were like, this
(05:59):
could be really cool. That was a year ago, and
here we are. The Michael Mattson interview we just did
recently went completely viral. Saw mine Richard Denise Richards is
the current episode that's on iHeartRadio and YouTube. It's just fun.
This is not your usual Hollywood interview. It's it's just
totally different outside the box.
Speaker 3 (06:20):
Yeah, and you can look back and laugh at it
and have some fun within people let down their garden stuff.
Do you have a particular favorite bad movie?
Speaker 5 (06:28):
Well, I didn't finish the joke there forgive me, which
was in the research of my like over one hundred films,
you know whatever. Some of them were just sci fi
whatever is this that I didn't even really remember. I thought, Oh,
I have like seven kind of sketchy movies, you know,
I just did them for the money, whatever, you know,
some horrible I did one called Sharks in Venice, where
I play a shark expert that goes to Venice, Italy
(06:49):
because there's sharks and the canals of Venice, Italy. Exactly.
You're invited, mister Lopez. We'd love to have you on
one bad movie, sir.
Speaker 2 (07:00):
I appreciate it. I appreciate it. We'll take you up
on that, sir.
Speaker 5 (07:02):
So thank you, thank you, sir.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
All Right, Hank tych More.
Speaker 3 (07:05):
Stephen Ball went't coming up. But first and more music,
catching up with Stephen Ball when this hour? Mario Lopez
here and this is cool man. You're in the new
season of Special Forces on Fox.
Speaker 2 (07:16):
How was the experience?
Speaker 5 (07:18):
Okay, so now I can't joke around now because like,
you're a physical fitness guy too. This was beyond I
won Fear Factor when Joe Rogan was the host almost
thirty years ago. I'm a Fear Factor champion, Mario. Wow,
So you know, so here comes Special Forces. I'm thinking, listen,
(07:39):
if I break my leg or whatever, you know, that's it.
I'm done anyway. So let me just get in here
and see how bad is I'm a skydiver. I've done
some kind of crazy stuff. I love Skydiving's my favorite,
but it's dangerous if you don't know what you're doing. Yeah,
So I wanted to just test myself, show up and
do a show that kind of honors and respects our military.
A huge supporter of our military.
Speaker 1 (08:00):
Uh.
Speaker 5 (08:00):
And I can't tell you what happened, but it was
beyond brutal, way harder. Now I'm going I'm gonna go
there now, Mario. I was ten years older than anybody
else on the show. Good for you, Yeah, Carrie, Hart
was like, you know, you know, we we had Cam
Newton please.
Speaker 2 (08:19):
Oh yeah, yeah, he's a monster.
Speaker 5 (08:20):
I losing thumb wrestling to Cam Newton. Okay, yeah, so
but the show was wild, it was powerful. It forget
challenging psychologically and physically. It was beyond that. It was
It was just dang scary. I wouldn't say it was
life changing. Just you'll see what happens.
Speaker 2 (08:37):
Okay, that's a good teaser right there. All right, hay Ty,
a few more songs and we're gonna have more with
Stephen Baldwan Mario Lopez here.
Speaker 3 (08:43):
Getting back to Stephen Baldwin who was on Zoom and Stephen,
I had many conversations with your brother Billy because he wrestled,
and yeah, and I'm.
Speaker 2 (08:52):
A wrestler myself grew it up.
Speaker 5 (08:54):
My grew up doing it.
Speaker 2 (08:55):
My boys are now doing it. Did you wrestle any
of you other brothers wrestling? I was always curious.
Speaker 5 (08:59):
Daniel and my self also wrestled.
Speaker 2 (09:01):
Oh nice.
Speaker 5 (09:02):
Billy and Daniel were kind of the guys that did
better than me, you know, at the high school and
collegiate level. And you know, I didn't go to a
college for sports, and I went to an acting college. Yeah,
but those guys went to college for sports. But particularly
Billy was quite successful at scholastic wrestling and in college,
(09:23):
so much so that he does a lot of commentary
for it to this day.
Speaker 2 (09:26):
I love it.
Speaker 5 (09:26):
Yeah, but I love that you were a wrestler. Let's
go do a documentary on some wrestling.
Speaker 2 (09:31):
Bro sounds good. Sounds good. We'll have to talk about that,
all right. Oh that's good to hear man.
Speaker 3 (09:35):
All right, one more thing I want to ask and
to take a break and come back with Stephen Bowen.
Speaker 1 (09:38):
We're the full interview now at on with Mario dot Com.
More Mario Lopez on the way.
Speaker 3 (09:44):
Wrapping up with actor Steven Baldwin. You're all Mario Lopez
and Steven your grandpa.
Speaker 2 (09:48):
Now, how are you liking that.
Speaker 5 (09:50):
I'm a grandpa again? Mar Are you a grandpa?
Speaker 2 (09:53):
I am not.
Speaker 3 (09:53):
I had a late start, Steve and my kids are
only have to stop and think about this, fourteen eleven
in late.
Speaker 5 (10:00):
Start because you're so handsome. That's the reason you had
a late start. That's a difference. I'm with the same
gal thirty eight years.
Speaker 2 (10:07):
Wow, that's awesome.
Speaker 5 (10:08):
Good for you. Yeah, yeah, I'm blessed. But yeah, little
baby Jack Blues is here and we are just taking
our time as we watch mister and missus Bieber snuggle
this kid. I think everybody's really understanding they're just spending
quality time at home and just trying to relax for
the holidays with baby Jack Blues. It's beautiful to watch.
Speaker 2 (10:30):
That's awesome.
Speaker 3 (10:30):
Well, congratulations on that, and I really appreciate you taking
the time to speak with you today and listen. Be
sure to check out Stephen's podcast One Bad Movie on
iHeartRadio and in the new season of the Fox show
Special Forces, which is areon Wednesdays.
Speaker 2 (10:44):
At eight pm. Thanks for checking in, Steven, hope.
Speaker 5 (10:47):
To see you. Thanks for having me bro right out. Blessed.
Speaker 2 (10:49):
Take care of you too, God blessed. Mario Courtney Lopez.
Speaker 3 (10:53):
It was some big game buzz you were throwing a
Super Bowl watch party.
Speaker 2 (10:56):
Snacks are key, and word.
Speaker 3 (10:58):
Is that this year the Super Bowl treats will be
about the same as last year, with a few exceptions.
Food for a big Game party at ten will run
around one hundred and thirty nine dollars, only about ten
cents more than last year.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
Okay, well, I guess that's not so bad.
Speaker 4 (11:13):
Yeah, well, we're saving one hundred and thirty nine dollars
because we're not doing that at.
Speaker 2 (11:19):
Amar Lopez.
Speaker 3 (11:20):
And if you made a New Year's resolution to eat
better and they're looking for a way out, well this
might be the answer. Pair of breakfast icons are teaming
up to bring a sugar pack start to the year
with Crispy Cream creating donuts inspired by pop Tart's most
popular flavors.
Speaker 2 (11:35):
Oh my gosh, talk about a.
Speaker 3 (11:36):
Sugar overkill strawberry with a fruity filling, chocolate fudge with
brownie batter, brown sugar cinnamon with cream cheese frosting.
Speaker 2 (11:45):
That's a lot going on. You haven't tried a pop Tart, right?
Or did we have you do it?
Speaker 3 (11:49):
I did try one here, then they had me try
one on my show Access Daily.
Speaker 2 (11:54):
Underwhelmed.
Speaker 3 (11:55):
I gotta be honest, it's underwhelming. You can't go full breakfast.
It's more like a snack deal.
Speaker 5 (11:59):
But but I dig it, I dig it.

does Jennifer Lopez go to when she needs brutal honesty?
Speaker 1 (12:45):
Woman?
Speaker 3 (12:45):
Back to tell you in ten first more music all
Mario Lopez tiper. One last thing. Jennifer Lopez very busy
woman of course, always working on new music and movies,
and with that comes a lot of critiques and comments
which I know is not fun to hear. But are
two very important people in her life from whom she
actually enjoys hearing feedback.
Speaker 5 (13:03):
Is Ben Affleck one of them?
Speaker 2 (13:05):
No, it's her children.
Speaker 3 (13:07):
Jamo says she likes getting her sixteen year old twins
feedback because they're brutally honest with her. She says, they
are wrapped up in their own lives, but if you ask,
they're ready to be brutally honest with you. And she
says she actually seeks out their thoughts on projects, not
just for their personal takes, but also her generational perspective.
Very smart kids are honest with you, and they will
keep you hit Sometimes they'll too honest.
Speaker 5 (13:30):
Yeah, they kind of roast you. Yes.
Speaker 1 (13:32):
More with Mario Lopez after.
Speaker 3 (13:34):
