Speaker 1 (00:00):
On with Mario Lopez.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
Here we go, Mario Lopez, back bround the mind and
fired up to be hanging with you for the next
few hours. A lot of radio fun to get to
actor and AGT host Terry Crew's going to join us later,
plus latest buzz, and just a few songs away from
Courtney asking a random question.
Speaker 3 (00:17):
So turn it up.
Speaker 4 (00:18):
You're on with Mario and Courtney Lopez. Y'are Mario Courtney Lopez.
Time to put on our thinking caps. Let's get the
Courtney's random question.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
What you got, honey?
Speaker 3 (00:26):
If Elvis had lived into old age, which part would
he have sung on We Are the World?
Speaker 4 (00:32):
It's a very good question, Please demonstrate it.
Speaker 2 (00:34):
And the answer is any part he wanted to because
he's Elvis. But I imagine you either had to start
or end with him. I imagine you probably had to
start with Elvis.
Speaker 1 (00:46):
More fun on the way on with Mario Lopez.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
Y'all, Mario Courtney Lopez. Have you heard of the term
smell max? And yet this is a trend among teenage boys.
Act's body sprays out expensive designer cologne? Is in What
if your son wants a two hundred dollar bottle of
Valantino or Tom Ford.
Speaker 4 (01:03):
Then get a job exactly. Yeah, he smell Maxin.
Speaker 2 (01:07):
Teenage boys are spending twenty six percent more on cologns
than they did a year ago.
Speaker 4 (01:12):
I was ahead of this curve.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
I will smell max In with my dracar in my
Fahrenheit back in the day.
Speaker 5 (01:18):
What's up?
Speaker 4 (01:21):
No comment over there.
Speaker 3 (01:22):
I'm just more embarrassed for you. I don't know. I like,
this is just so ridiculous for kids. You have your
own Mario Lopez Colonne and it smells amazing.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
Hey, they smell Maxine off the rock in the Mario's.
Speaker 3 (01:36):
It's affordable. Like, That's why I don't understand. Until you're
older and making your own money. Teenage boys, you need
to just do you need to?
Speaker 5 (01:45):
Just?
Speaker 3 (01:46):
I am wearing one of my favorites right now and
it is so inexpensive. It's ridiculous, but it's my favorite
since college.
Speaker 1 (01:53):
Well, Mario Lopez will be right.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
Back, wil Courtney Lopez here. My wife has something she
wants to share.
Speaker 3 (01:59):
What honey, if you were a child when the song
Red red Wine was released, you'd be fortyish right now.
Speaker 4 (02:08):
Wow, that's funny.
Speaker 2 (02:09):
I know exactly where I was at when that song
was released, because my cousin Ralphie used to love it,
and then my uncle had one of those sound systems
really loud in his car, and I used to think
that song was just so red rid and it sounded
so good in the system because it was kind of reggaeish.
Speaker 5 (02:24):
You know.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
Now it's so quaranty when I hear it. It's sent
to Corney's on When I was a kid, I thought
it was so cool. What a Mario Lopez here on
YouTube's billion view Club as a new entry from the eighties.
The song I the Tiger from Survivor in the movie
Rocky three. Yes, title came from a line in the
movie where Paula Creed tells Rocky that he used to
have I the Tiger. Survivor became sort of the house
(02:49):
band for the Rocky franchise and they killed it in
every movie.
Speaker 4 (02:52):
I'm happy for him. Mar Let's get back to the music.
Jo all Mario Courtney Lopez.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
And this has been causing some conversation on my timeline.
If you're on an airplane, should the middle seat get
both armrests? I say, yes, honey, poor things got to
be in the middle seat. They deserve both arm rest
because the person in the window has that arm rest,
the person in the aisle has that armrests, and you're.
Speaker 5 (03:15):
In the middle.
Speaker 4 (03:15):
I think they deserve both.
Speaker 3 (03:16):
What do you think the middle seat is the worst?
Hands down? I feel like that is more of a
first come, first serve thing.
Speaker 1 (03:26):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (03:27):
Like, if if I'm in cold, I'm not cold. If
I'm in the middle seat and the person on the
aisle has their elbow there, their their arm there, then
I respect that. The minute they take it off, I
could take it.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
Like.
Speaker 3 (03:41):
That's how I feel.
Speaker 4 (03:42):
I think. I think first person to the road gets
two armrests, everyone else gets one. Wow, you guys are cold.
You guys are cold. If I'm in the aisle or
if I'm in the window, like you said, I feel
bad for the person in the middle. Let them at least
have both armors.
Speaker 3 (03:55):
But the aisle person just has this what them the
leaning I don't.
Speaker 4 (03:59):
Have a wall like you have the window. No, I know, Well,
they chose to get that aisle.
Speaker 3 (04:02):
That's on them.
Speaker 4 (04:02):
Yeah, I chose to.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
Get And they also have free access to the bathroom exactly.
Free access to the bathroom is key. I always, I
always want an aisle seat. And then when I don't,
I always try to. Would you mind switch? You know,
I kind of got it, I said, okay, and then
I get my heads up. Okay, be prepared to get
up a lot. So we're making trips to the bathroom. Yeah,
they still don't move.
Speaker 3 (04:23):
Then how come when I take the window, you say,
oh you get the window?
Speaker 4 (04:26):
I don't. I just tease. I just tease. If he's traveling,
I don't mind climbing over you. If it's somebody knows,
it's different. But if it's a stranger, you don't want
to climb over him.
Speaker 5 (04:33):
Yeah, that was weird.
Speaker 1 (04:36):
Or Mario Lopez coming up, Mario Corney Lopez.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
Here, someone needs to give Daniel Radcliffe their HBO password.
My guy says he's never seen any of the great
TV dramas like The Sopranos, Breaking Bad or The Wire What.
He says he can't get through any heavy, hour long shows. Instead,
he watches cartoons in reality TV. What are you nine
years old?
Speaker 4 (04:59):
Wait?
Speaker 3 (04:59):
This is Harry Potter, right, Harry Potter. Aren't those movies
like ten hours long?
Speaker 4 (05:04):
That's the irony there, you know? Teach the road?
Speaker 2 (05:06):
All right, let's play some more music, Mario Courtney Lopez
here and let's put a spotlights on missus Lopez.
Speaker 4 (05:12):
Time for Courtney's random thought.
Speaker 5 (05:13):
What do you got, honey?
Speaker 3 (05:15):
If we can't see air, do you think fish can
see water that's deep? Do they know they're in water?
Speaker 2 (05:22):
It's their world, Like we don't know we're in this
particular atmosphere. Well, we know, but we don't know any
other atmosphere. But this fish don't know any other atmosphere
but water unless they get caught on a line.
Speaker 4 (05:34):
They're coming out and briefly here.
Speaker 3 (05:37):
To piggyback myself when we go underwater and we can't breathe,
that's how they feel when they come out of water.
Speaker 4 (05:46):
That's right, Yes, that's exactly how.
Speaker 3 (05:47):
They're dry drowning.
Speaker 4 (05:49):
It's not fun. Huh No.
Speaker 2 (05:51):
Not gonna stop fishing, though I love fishing, John, Mario Lopez,
and Lisa Vanderpum says she is not a fake.
Speaker 1 (06:00):
With Mario Hollywood Buzz.
Speaker 2 (06:02):
So this guy, Jax Taylor from the Valley has been
saying some pretty nasty stuff about vander pump rules. He
says after season six, the show became completely fake and scripted.
Jack says the Valley is much more real and organic. Well,
Lisa Vanderpump thinks that is ridiculous. She says, no one
could write a script like vander Pump rules.
Speaker 4 (06:24):
I think what happens is.
Speaker 2 (06:27):
After six seasons, these quote characters sort of know their role.
They're laying what they have to do to get more attention,
more sree times.
Speaker 4 (06:36):
So they start creating drama. They start leaning into certain positions,
and they get very savvy with it.
Speaker 2 (06:43):
So I don't know if it's necessarily fake, but it
might be a little choreographed.
Speaker 4 (06:48):
It may not be scripted, but it's prompted.
Speaker 5 (06:50):
Yes.
Speaker 1 (06:51):
More Mario Lopez coming up?
Speaker 2 (06:54):
What a Mario Courtney Lopez here and Daniel Craig is
back on the case. Netflix has announced the third Knives
Out movie. It's gonna be called Wake Up dead Man.
Speaker 3 (07:03):
They're calling it the most Dangerous case for Ben waugh Blanc.
The plot is still under wraps, but it will come
to theaters at some point in twenty twenty five, so
we'll see.
Speaker 5 (07:13):
We will see.
Speaker 2 (07:14):
All right, Let's get back to the music, all right,
A few more songs gonna fire up zooms and we
can travel with actor and host Terry Crews. Mario Lopez here,
Terry busier than ever hosting AGT, still acting, now teaming
(07:36):

Speaker 4 (07:38):
Gonna get to scoop on all that and more when
Terry joins us.
Speaker 2 (07:40):
Next, it's up Mario Lopez joining me right now, actor
and TV host, My man, Terry Cruz.
Speaker 4 (07:47):

Speaker 6 (08:03):
Yeah, man, we did the auditions. It's incredible.
Speaker 5 (08:05):

Speaker 6 (08:06):
Like I said, I always think I haven't seen it all,
and I'm like, oh, no, I ain't seen nothing, you know.
I'm like, man, for one, you say I heard that
song a million times, but you didn't hear it like that.
Speaker 3 (08:19):
You know.
Speaker 6 (08:19):
Yeah, I saw that dance, but you ain't seen this
ballet like this.
Speaker 5 (08:24):
Yeah. Yeah, it's incredible, man. What can I say? It's
twenty years.
Speaker 4 (08:28):
Bro, unbelievable.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
It's awesome and it's a great family show to you
can watch with the kids. And mel B is now
back as a judge after a little hiatus. Is this
the first time you work with her?
Speaker 5 (08:39):
No?
Speaker 6 (08:39):
I actually my first experience in the America's Got Talent world.
I hosted a spinoff called Champions and she was on it.
Speaker 5 (08:46):
Oh okay, so, and.
Speaker 6 (08:48):
Then I went to the main flagship. You know, god
it I was og man. Think about it. You know
when you look at Melbe, she's been in one of
the most famous groups, like the Beatles. You know, talking
about someone who knows talent inside and out.
Speaker 4 (09:02):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, No, Mal's cool.
Speaker 2 (09:04):
Terry Hayk tight quick break and we're going to come
back with some more Terry Crews.
Speaker 1 (09:07):
More fun on the Way on with Mario Lopez.
Speaker 2 (09:11):
A Mario Lopez got Terry Crews on Zoom with me.
New season of AGT coming up, and hey, you're also
and everybody still hates Chris your boys, Chris Rock's dad, Julius.
Speaker 4 (09:21):
That's got to be fun, man, that's the best kind
of gig right show how you.
Speaker 6 (09:24):
Want, man, Well, you know, to do the live action
and then to bring it back as an animated show.
Speaker 5 (09:31):
You know years later.
Speaker 6 (09:32):
It's a dream, brother, Keep the thing going. I know
the character inside it out. Me and Tashina Arnold. You
know we were sympatico. Man, she actually taught me how
to act back when I was doing that show and
now to do it again animated. We can go forever.
That's the plant. Let's get some of that family guy.
Speaker 5 (09:53):
Right kind of stuff.
Speaker 6 (09:54):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 5 (09:55):
I want that like twenty year longevity on this show.
Speaker 4 (09:58):
I know what you mean for sure?
Speaker 2 (09:59):
Man, And will Terry hang on a few more songs
and want to come right back catching up with Terry
Cruz this hour. Mario Lopez here and Terry. What's up
of the rumor that White Chicks Too is actually happening?
Speaker 6 (10:10):
First of all, Marlon said it, and I'm with it
as soon as they first that green light on that
whole thing.
Speaker 5 (10:18):
Man, I'm there, bro, I got the abs. I'm keeping
everything in shape. I'm ready to go. You know what
I mean?
Speaker 4 (10:24):
You always dialed there funny.
Speaker 6 (10:25):
With the technology they have now, you can actually do
it as if the movie takes place the next day,
you know what I mean.
Speaker 5 (10:32):
They can age them, they can put the stuff on
them as crazy. You don't need to go into twenty years.
Speaker 6 (10:37):
We can actually make it so you go the next
day after the.
Speaker 2 (10:40):
Party So it's funny that you said that a buddy
of mine was showing me today that he edited a
little short film on an app. But it's all he
put himself and other people. That it's all AI in
digital and it looks real.
Speaker 5 (10:54):
It looks so real.
Speaker 4 (10:55):
I'm like, Yo, you can.
Speaker 2 (10:56):
Make a whole movie now on your phone and people.
You don't have to cast anybody. The thing is wild.
Speaker 4 (11:02):
So we could keep working, but put us on you
know what I'm.
Speaker 6 (11:04):
Saying, Oh man, opportunities abound, brother, Yeah, I want to
take advantage of all of them.
Speaker 5 (11:09):
I'm putting myself in the computer and I got no problem.
Speaker 2 (11:12):
I got I got you there all right, Terry, he
ain't tight. A little more music coming back with Terry Crews.
Getting back to actor and host Terry Crews. Who's hanging
out on zoom? You're all Mario Lopez and this is cool.
You recently partnered with Starbucks to help launch a new
coffee blend called Sonsa.
Speaker 5 (11:28):
Yes, I'm Sarah Blend.
Speaker 4 (11:30):
I had a strawbus just about every day.
Speaker 2 (11:32):
I'm a I'm a cold brew VENTI guy, splash of
skim milk, one splendor.
Speaker 4 (11:38):
What's your go to drinking. Well, tell me about the blend.
I imagine this is a drink.
Speaker 5 (11:41):
I like it black, but I also like to make
it at home.
Speaker 6 (11:44):
And the Son Sarah blend is available in all the
grocery stores.
Speaker 5 (11:48):
Man, you can take it home. I have a routine
at my house. You know. I'm intermittent fast. I'll eat
till two, but between.
Speaker 6 (11:54):
Ten thirty and eleven thirty, I always make my own coffee, Okay,
And it's part of my routine and it's part of
the thing that really helps me. Listen, it got me
through so many things in that period. That hour period
in my day is when I write down all my goals,
I make my plans, I focus my life. And this
is the message I'm trying to send by partnering with
(12:17):
Starbucks on this, because it's really about these routines that
make you successful.
Speaker 5 (12:21):
You know what I mean exactly?
Speaker 6 (12:23):
All right, Listen, I go back to those lists that
I made when I was doing those coffee breaks, and
I hit every one of those goals. Brother, I'm trying
to tell you, it's really magic.
Speaker 4 (12:34):
I'm all about list and I'm gonna try this slave,
all right.
Speaker 2 (12:36):
Tell you, hey, ty, because I want to know about
the intermittent fasting.
Speaker 4 (12:40):
Man quick, great, We're gonna come back and wrap it up.
Speaker 1 (12:42):
You're the full interview now at on with Mario Dunco.
More Mario Lopez.
Speaker 2 (12:46):
On the way rapping up with Terry Cruz your own
Mario Lopez and Terry. I know you got to go man,
baral quick question. You said you do the internet in
fast and you go from when to win.
Speaker 6 (12:54):
I go from two to ten pm two to eat
it too, and then I don't.
Speaker 5 (12:59):
I stopped eating by ten pm. And when do you
work out in the morning early?
Speaker 4 (13:03):
How do you deal with the energy and stuff?
Speaker 5 (13:05):
Crazy? You know about My biggest meal is a night
so you know what I mean. I'm basically working out
on that. You know what I mean. Have you hooked
up and not been hungry? You know what I meant
the time?
Speaker 4 (13:16):
Yeah, because I'd be crushing it and that's the way
I am.
Speaker 5 (13:19):
But I'm not going I'd be eating all day.
Speaker 2 (13:21):
I got everybody fasting is so I've got so many
people that I know, and people in great shape like
yourself do it, and I'm just i gotta try it,
just because I'm not a little fat kid. Terry, I
like to eat all the time. But I'm always concerned,
like in the morning, like as far as my energy.
But if you're telling me your energy is fine, I guess yeah,
you have a big meal. You just kind of get
up and then this is.
Speaker 6 (13:39):
The thing is about passing For me, it's more so,
it's more. It's not about just the body. It's about
the discipline. Everything that is within your reach is not
meant to be in your hand. You know what I'm saying. Yes,
it's like telling your body no, you're going to do
it when I tell you, you do it. And it's
a ripple effect that affects everything in your life. You
(13:59):
learn how to turn things down, you learn how to
say no to stuff you know. You can't listen to
your body, man, it will always tell me the wrong thing.
And especially when your goal, when you when you have
goals and the whole thing. Sometimes, hey man, the right
decision sometimes doesn't feel good.
Speaker 4 (14:15):
And so when my body says eat a third twist,
I should be like, no, right.
Speaker 6 (14:21):
But wait, I do have those special times when it's like,
all right, here we go. I'm in the movie theater
at the same time exactly. You know, when you have
those moments where you enjoy it. To me, it's about
being mindful.
Speaker 4 (14:35):
I'm gonna try it. I'm gonna try try, I'm gonna
Try'm gonna try it. I'm gonna report back.
Speaker 5 (14:41):
You know, every everybody has their own flow, though.
Speaker 4 (14:44):
I'm gonna try their own. I'm gonna try. Is gonna
come in here day one. I'm about to pass out.
I'm about to pass out of them.
Speaker 5 (14:51):
I have that coffee, man.
Speaker 6 (14:52):
And again, you know that's another thing with teaming with
Starbucks and Sereblin on this thing is just because it's
part of my routine, you know what I mean. And
it's part of the system that I created. But these
things create successes.
Speaker 1 (15:06):
Man.
Speaker 4 (15:06):
Yeah, yeah, I'm not reached that all the time. You're
exactly right.
Speaker 5 (15:09):
I love it. I love it. Well.
Speaker 2 (15:11):
Congratulations on that, brother, and listen everyone be sure to
catch Terry's host in the twenty season of AGT Premiary
May twenty seventh, on NBC.
Speaker 4 (15:20):

Speaker 5 (15:25):

they said in ten years a new retirement age will
be one hundred and fifteen, So I still have plenty
of time to pay half my credit card bill.
Speaker 2 (16:02):
You know that sounds like a joke, but Lagent two
and three is referring to a headline I posted that
said doctors says in ten years time, humans will be
able to live and work till the age of one
hundred and twenty. I used say I wanted to live
to one hundred and twenty, But why they got to
throw work in there? Why you gotta live and work.
Speaker 3 (16:19):
On undred That's no, that's no fun.

Speaker 2 (17:14):
You're all Mario Courtney Lopez. Almost time to pass the mic,
but not before we get to one last thing. After
almost eighteen months on the run, a miniature dotson who
was lovingly called Australia's favorite fugitive, has been captured and
deemed healthy and well.
Speaker 4 (17:30):
The pup, named.
Speaker 2 (17:30):
Valerie, was on a camping trip with her humans on
Kangaroo Island in South Australia back in November of twenty
twenty three when she escaped from her pen and ran
off into the brush.
Speaker 3 (17:39):
Oh gosh.
Speaker 2 (17:40):
Though they spent the rest of their week on the
island searching desperately for a little Valerie, her humans eventually
had a return to the mainland without her, even though
they had little hope that the little pup could survive
in the wild. There were sightings of Valerie in March
to confirm that she was alive, but she proved almost
impossible to catch. She avoided people in cars, and she
hadn't fallen for any of the traps set by the
(18:01):
Wildlife Rescue until now, after it estimated one thousand volunteer hours,
little Valerie finally been captured.
Speaker 4 (18:08):
She was out there living her best life.
Speaker 5 (18:09):
Probably didn't want to go home.
Speaker 4 (18:10):
For a year and a half.
Speaker 1 (18:11):
Bro.
Speaker 2 (18:12):
What was she eating out there? Little rodents and stuff
and dots and we're not talking like a pig bull,
a little dotson, no.
Speaker 3 (18:19):
Short legs that if she had to run for her
life and.
Speaker 2 (18:22):
Also not take her Australia has got some serious critters
out there, so I'm surprised she didn't get eaten.
Speaker 4 (18:27):
During that day, she's out there dominating that island.
Speaker 3 (18:29):
Valerie. I hope that she's happy to I hope she
had fun, but I hope she's I hope she's happy
to be home.
Speaker 4 (18:35):
What a vacation.
Speaker 1 (18:37):
More Mario Lopez coming up.
Speaker 2 (18:40):
That's it big, Thanks again, Terry Chruser zooming in amrio
dot com from where of my chat with him? More
fun tomorrow till then Mario Lopez saying good night
Speaker 1 (18:50):
With Mario Lopez
