(00:28):
to put a spotlight on my wife and get Courtney's
random question. What you got, honey?
Speaker 3 (00:33):
Okay, if we had to go on a double date
with a celebrity you've never met yet, which is hard
because you've met.
Speaker 4 (00:40):
A sorry limiting the choices, who would you choose?
Speaker 2 (00:42):
Well, honestly, it's pretty hard to think of a celebrity
I haven't met, and that's only because of my job
both here and with Access Daily and Access Hollywood. I'll
just answer it like this. Let's just assume I've met
pretty much everybody, because I name someone I said, it's
(01:03):
pretty cool unless it's like very new and up, and yeah,
it's it's pretty hard. All your big established stars, Tom Cruise,
George Clooney, you've.
Speaker 3 (01:10):
If you didn't interview them, you've at least met them.
Speaker 2 (01:12):
In passed absolutely, No, absolutely, Ironically, he's been in the
news a lot, justin Timberlake. But I thought him his
wife Jessica b would be a fun couple to hang with.
What about you, honey, I.
Speaker 3 (01:24):
Love like Vince Vaughn. We sat next to them, yea, we.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
Sat next to him.
Speaker 3 (01:28):
A fight.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
I could kick it with him. I just be forgetting
to call him.
Speaker 3 (01:31):
And he used to be our neighbor before we moved
into this house, and then he moved away, so that sucks. Yes,
but but yeah, I mean, anybody who's funny?
Speaker 1 (01:42):
More Mario Lopez coming up?
Speaker 2 (01:45):
Oh, Mario Courtney Lopez. Interesting reddit post caught my attention.
Someone on it asked, what's a sound you hear that
instantly makes you angry for no logical reason. Well, answers
rolled in or here are a few of the most
popular responses.
Speaker 3 (02:00):
That loud throbbing sound when you only have one window
open in the.
Speaker 2 (02:04):
Car, Why does that happen? I want to know why
that happens.
Speaker 3 (02:08):
I know your son taught me which one dominic? What
did you say you have to open another window to
even out the pressure. Yes, and that works.
Speaker 4 (02:18):
It is a pressure issue.
Speaker 3 (02:19):
I did not know that.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
Oh, look at him. Okay, that school's paying off. That
is a very annoying sound.
Speaker 3 (02:26):
But it's very annoying because it hurts.
Speaker 4 (02:28):
Actually, right, the chirp of.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
A dying battery and a smoke detective, not just that
it always decides to die it like three in the morning.
Speaker 4 (02:37):
It's always in the middle of the night and you
can't find it.
Speaker 5 (02:39):
You can't find it, you can't get the battery to change,
or sometimes I'll rip it out of the wall.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
Those are the top two. They did a good job
wherever they pulled it.
Speaker 3 (02:47):
Styrofoam, rubbing on styrofoam.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
I can't really read that one.
Speaker 1 (02:51):
That's bad.
Speaker 3 (02:52):
It's just a sound that's like nails on a chalkboard.
Speaker 2 (02:55):
First two. Or are they knocked it out of the park.
Speaker 3 (02:57):
This is another one. People having loud conversations on speakerphone.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
Well, sometimes if you like novesdrop, it's kind of fun.
Speaker 3 (03:04):
No, it's never fun. And can I add one to this?
My husband wants to show me videos in public and
it's on full volume. Some people are eating around us
and I say, please turn it down, lot hear it
because I'm embarrassed, But he doesn't care, Like doesn't that's
an old person thing.
Speaker 4 (03:21):
That's hilarious.
Speaker 3 (03:21):
She also lips smacking and chewing with your mouth open. Yeah,
that's just gross.
Speaker 1 (03:25):
More Mario Lopez on.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
The Way Mario and Cordo Lopez heres It rolls on
right after a quick digital pit stop at on Mari
dot com for a quick look at what's trending.
Speaker 3 (03:34):
If you can find out how Kim Kardashian really feels
about Mom Chris Jenner's a new look.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
I mean, what's to feel about it? It was tremendous.
Speaker 3 (03:43):
Adam Devine is showing off his gruesome scar that from
that scary cement truck accident that almost killed him back
in the day.
Speaker 2 (03:51):
That's wild, I remember that.
Speaker 3 (03:52):
And Miley Cyrus reveals how she feels about her dad
Billy Ray's new relationship.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
Never in a million years would I picture Billy Ray
Cyrus and Elizabeth Hurley like.
Speaker 3 (04:02):
Who has the better hair? I don't even know.
Speaker 2 (04:04):
That's a good one.
Speaker 3 (04:05):
On with Mario dot Com for all that and more.

It's everyone. Mario Lopez joining right now on zoom. Actress
in two time Grammy winning singer Tia Carrera. How you doing, Tia?
Speaker 1 (04:30):
Hey, good good.
Speaker 6 (04:31):
I'm like a mess here, like I got construction go.
Speaker 7 (04:34):
On, I've got like wood, you know, blocks over here.
I'm like a general contractor and an actress in the
biggest movie in the universe right now.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
I love that. Well, I know I saw you right
before the movie came out. Cut too. It's now the
biggest movie, the live action Leelo and Stitch film. I
was just telling my wife, I've heard nothing but great
things about it. People actually getting emotional. How is this
one different?
Speaker 6 (04:58):
Vin brought the kids, man, you gotta bring the kid No.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
I know, well, some of my kids have seen it.
The other ones haven't because we've been traveling. So we're
gonna we're gonna take them as a matter of fact
this weekend. But seasing you you're busy, I know, yeah,
I know you were also in the original, but you're
playing a different character in this one, correct, Yes.
Speaker 7 (05:13):
I played the older sister Nanni. I was the voice
in the cartoon, and now I'm playing missus kekoa sort
of the mentor to Nanni. So it's a great full
circle role as a woman, you know.
Speaker 2 (05:23):
That's awesome. And the original was back when it's been
a while, nineteen fifty seven.
Speaker 6 (05:28):
No, it was a two thousand and two. I think
it came up.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
Ooh, that's great.
Speaker 6 (05:34):
Yeah, it's crazy. Yeah, twenty three years later.
Speaker 2 (05:36):
Twenty three years later. That's a nice little break, all right, Tia,
Hang tight, quick break. Then we have more with Tia Carrera, more.
Speaker 1 (05:42):
Fun on the way on with Mario.
Speaker 2 (05:44):
Lopez getting back to Tia Gerrera from the new Lelo
Institu movie Mario Lopez here, and of course it takes
place in Hawaii, where you were born and raised. You
got the film there, I'm assuming.
Speaker 6 (05:55):
Yeah, I got to film in Hawaii.
Speaker 7 (05:57):
That's the best thing, is like getting to go back home,
you know, I have my exit strategy is to end
up back in Hawaii, you know, opening my own you know,
Peky bar and singing there on Aloha.
Speaker 6 (06:06):
Fridays. That's like the dream to me.
Speaker 2 (06:08):
Oh that sounds awesome. All right, Tia, hang tight little
more music. We're going to come back with Tia Carrera.
You're all. Mario Lopez got actress Tia Carera on Zoom
with me. We were just talking about Lelo and Stitch
taking place in Hawaii, where you're from, and I love
the story that you It's like an old school Hollywood story.
You basically got discovered in a grocery store in Waikiki, right, Yeah.
Speaker 6 (06:28):
I was shopping.
Speaker 7 (06:30):
I was like seventeen, and I guess I had just
come from a modeling shoot, so I had like full
makeup and hair and like a garland of flowers around
my head.
Speaker 6 (06:38):
And producer's mother and father came up to me and said, Donlia, gorgeous.
You should be in my son's movie.
Speaker 7 (06:43):
And that's how I got my first movie, got a
screen Actor's Guild card and everything.
Speaker 2 (06:47):
That's awesome.
Speaker 6 (06:48):
Yeah, pretty tricky.
Speaker 7 (06:49):
I mean I could have been just working in a hotel,
you know, yeah, thing or asking would you like fries?
Speaker 6 (06:55):
With that?
Speaker 2 (06:55):
Who knows? We got more with Tia coming up first,
more music. Catching up with actress Tia Carrera from the
new le low In Stitch movie, which has been a
huge hit at the box office. Mario Lopez here, and
now you have another movie coming out called The Last Resort,
a romantic comedy. Right, what's it about.
Speaker 7 (07:11):
Yes, So Daisy Ridley is the lead with Alden Aaron Rix.
So it's like she's from Star Wars, he's from Young
Hands Solo and they meet cute in the Philippines. So
I got to go to the homeland of my father
and it was they're looking she's looking for a property
to purchase for to add to her father's conglomerates, and
(07:33):
then she falls in love with the islands and falls
in love with the people and realizes that, you know,
happiness is not all you know, glitter and diamonds and
all that big life.
Speaker 6 (07:43):
You know, I love it's the island life.
Speaker 2 (07:45):
Oh good for you. Congrats on that. All right, One
more thing I want to ask, so hank Ty quick break.
We're gonna come back and wrap it up with your Carrera.
Speaker 1 (07:51):
You're the full interview now at On with Mario dot Com.
More Mario Lopez on the way.
Speaker 2 (07:57):
Wrapping up with actress Tia Carrera. You're on with Mario
Lope before you go. I know you're a two time
Grammy winner as they introduced you. Any chance you might
be getting back in the studio.
Speaker 7 (08:07):
I was thinking about it. I've been going and touring
all around. I'm gonna be going on a tour with
Daniel holl and uncle George Cahomochally Junior soon, like in October,
going to Australia to do like a one off show
down there in Melbourne.
Speaker 6 (08:22):
I forget the name of the theater. They're gonna like
kill me.
Speaker 7 (08:24):
But anyway, I don't be on my social media. But yeah,
so I'm just singing and I have an idea for
a record and some songs I've been writing.
Speaker 6 (08:31):
So that's another part of me. It's like, how many
things can you do in a lifetime?
Speaker 2 (08:34):
All of them? I guess that's what I say. There
are no rules, good luck. That's awesome. Yeah, And of
course one of the most iconic roles was Cassandra and
the Waynes World films. Right there, and I heard you
still own that red dress from the film, right, Yes,
I do.
Speaker 7 (08:48):
I got to put in like a box so that
like the elastic doesn't keep degrading in the air. It
should be hermetically sealed and you know something like that.
Speaker 2 (08:56):
That's awesome. I'd love love to hear it still fits.
That's good. Hey, that's even better.
Speaker 4 (09:03):
Well, congratulations on everything.
Speaker 2 (09:04):
I'll let you get back to your home repairs there
and everyone, please for sure to catch to you in

Speaker 3 (10:07):
How you doing girls, We're good, very good. Not Gia.
Speaker 2 (10:12):
Now, I just want to let our listeners know that
I allowed you to have your very first house party
the other day. It was a graduation house party. You
had like forty something kids there. It was very organized
and the kids were very polite, Yes, very respectful. I
really enjoyed that. But what was the feedback? What did
(10:32):
you think? How did you like it?
Speaker 1 (10:34):
Well?
Speaker 8 (10:34):
We okay, So we got the idea after because okay,
when you're in eighth grade and you aren't like private schools,
you have socials right to talk to kids from other
private schools. And we only got two socials this year,
so we were like, that's kind of lame, let's do
another one. So me and Olivia and.
Speaker 2 (10:49):
What happens at these socials You just talked to people.
Speaker 8 (10:51):
You just meet new people at socialized, Yes, you just socialized.
Literally they put you in a room and they play
music and then you're with a bunch of people.
Speaker 2 (10:56):
That's it, really and social.
Speaker 8 (10:58):
Yeah, so we we got the idea and we wanted
to have it the following weekend, but you and Wilm
were out of town. So it was very exciting leading
up to the date. Because we did it was we'd
wait three weeks for it and everything like getting ready
for it, setting it up, just planning it was super fun.
And then the actual party was fun, and then everything
else after was fun because everyone was texting me like,
(11:18):
oh my gosh, that was so fun and they're waiting for.
Speaker 2 (11:20):
The next one. So oh so you got good feedback.
Everybody liked it. We got very good feedback. Now, what
do you mean the next one?
Speaker 8 (11:25):
The next one that's in two weeks on the sixty
thir eighteenth.
Speaker 2 (11:28):
No no, no, no, no, no, no, this is not a thing.
This is not a thing that was a special occasion
because you graduated. You're gonna have a King Signetta coming up? Yes,
and then no, no, no, no, no, no no no, there's not
a next one.
Speaker 4 (11:38):
We get us summer summer celebration.
Speaker 2 (11:41):
You know what you can do, and I'll tell you
what you can do. Well, No, you're gonna have your kenignant.
I was gonna say, maybe you have one before everybody
goes back to school, but we're gonna do the King Signana,
So you're gonna have to wait till next year.
Speaker 8 (11:52):
Kid, what are you talking about?
Speaker 3 (11:53):
No, it's summer, dad, No, we're you're funny.
Speaker 2 (11:56):
Okay, we'll discuss this back again.
Speaker 8 (11:58):
The next team. Everybody votes should be blue out or
kimo wait blue or yes?
Speaker 2 (12:05):
Okay? Oh, Olivia chimed in. Okay, well, good luck, we'll
discuss later.
Speaker 1 (12:10):
Mario Lopez will be right back.
Speaker 2 (12:12):
Oh Mario Courtney Lopez cribs National Spelling Bee. A new
study is revealing the most misspelled words in America. The
company Word Unscrambler use Google search data to determine the
most misspelled words. What are they?
Speaker 3 (12:24):
Honey Well? Nationally, the top five most common misspelled words
are definitely.
Speaker 2 (12:31):
Are you misspelling? Definitely?
Speaker 3 (12:32):
I don't misspell that one. I don't misspell separate.
Speaker 2 (12:36):
Separate, Okay. I can see some people maybe putting an
instead of an A in the middle, but alright, this one.
Speaker 3 (12:41):
Sometimes I do have a problem with necessary.
Speaker 2 (12:45):
I could see that one S two S.
Speaker 3 (12:46):
It's I get confused.
Speaker 4 (12:47):
I don't think I could spell that right now.
Speaker 2 (12:49):
Believe for E except after C. You got to do
that one right exactly. And through well, I see through
being misspelled when it's used in the proper, when it's
used incorrectly. In other words, I went through the window.
Th h R O U g h as opposed to
th h R E W right both are spelled correctly,
(13:11):
but the meanings are different or drive through correct thhru
very good. Oh, Mari Courney Lopez saw this and I
thought it was really interesting. If you wake up at
three am randomly, apparently you're normal. According to new medical research,
one third of us apparently wake up around three am
about three times a week. Psychology Today says that's a
(13:33):
common occurrence and it's age related. As we get older,
our natural sleep cycle transitions around three am, which is
when we switch between deep sleep and light sleep. You know,
I can't make it through the night without having to
use the rustlan at lease one time I have to.
I don't want to. I never want to look at
the clock.
Speaker 3 (13:51):
We don't look at that, don't I do?
Speaker 2 (13:53):
I don't because I start doing math in my head
and how many hours it messes me up. It messes
me up because sometimes I feel if it's if I'm
only like an hour away, which is still pretty good
amount of time, I'll do a countdown in my head,
it'll mess with me. But I bet you might be
closer to a round three am.
Speaker 3 (14:08):
You know what this I can attest to because for
some reason I am like a two fourteen am person.
I constantly wake up around the same time, So I
don't know if that has anything to do with.
Speaker 2 (14:21):
This or wild I don't know. Jeral Baro Lopez quickly
digging into the bus because Roseanne is calling out ABC on.
Speaker 1 (14:30):
With Mario Hollywood Buzz.
Speaker 2 (14:33):
So Roseanne Barr is accused ABC of spying Honor in
giving the funniest lines Honor sitcom Roseanne to co star
John Goodman just before firing her. She claims that the
network monitored her and censored her from the beginning. She
was then fired from the show's revival in twenty eighteen
because of an inappropriate tweet. She insisted that her critics
(14:53):
misinterpreted her tweet and described a tense atmosphere on the
set before or firing. Despite her absence, the show continued
as The Conner for several seasons before wrapping up earlier
this year. I was actually surprised that it managed to
go on for a few seasons.
Speaker 4 (15:08):
I actually thought it got canceled after like the third.
Speaker 2 (15:10):
Yeah, that's that's wow. Like credit to her cast mates,
Roseanne okay, making her feelings felt more.
Speaker 1 (15:17):
Mario Lopez coming up.
Speaker 2 (15:20):
You're all with Mario and Cordo Lopez time to make
it a little weird and sneak into my wife's brain
time for Quardo's random.
Speaker 3 (15:27):
Thought, and she got, honey, everything is weird about this,
including you. You know, the oven has a window, microwaves two,
you can see all the way through a blender. But
the dishwasher, oh no, you cannot see in there. So
why do they refuse to let us see what is
going on behind the dishwasher?
Speaker 2 (15:48):
I mean you'd be seeing it to be like a
look like a car wash, you know, to be like
a washer.
Speaker 4 (15:52):
Well you assume, yeah, we don't know what happens in there.
Speaker 2 (15:54):
That's right. Music rolls on your old Mario and Cordoz.

Mario and Cordo Lopez and I thought this was interesting.
Billboard released the list of the best duets to sing
on karaoke night. All right, let's break down the top
tennessee if we agree, go all right.
Speaker 3 (16:47):
Number ten, you're the one that I want from.
Speaker 2 (16:49):
Greece, classic Little Danny and Sandy.
Speaker 1 (16:51):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (16:52):
Number nine took a little ball the whole New World
from Aladdin.
Speaker 2 (16:57):
You gotta really go over the top of it because
I'm not a fan of ballads during karaoke.
Speaker 4 (17:01):
You also better be really good if you're going to
try to do that, don't you?
Speaker 3 (17:04):
Dare?
Speaker 2 (17:04):
Clay your every Day or a Letter.
Speaker 3 (17:08):
Number eight Love Shack B fifty two's.
Speaker 2 (17:11):
Another kind of fun party, one kind of yell it.
Speaker 3 (17:13):
Yeah. Number seven Islands in the Stream Kenny and Dolly.
Speaker 2 (17:17):
Yes, I love this song, and that's a fun, great
karaoke song. We're going to do. We're gonna do that one.
Speaker 5 (17:23):
Honey, I'm not doing any You guys should be like
Kenny and Dolly for Halloween one here, I'm really hideous.
Speaker 2 (17:31):
Blood done a few, no shame.
Speaker 3 (17:34):
Number six, ain't no mountain high enough Marvin Gay and
Tammy Terrell.
Speaker 2 (17:39):
You got to really be able to sing if you're
gonna hit.
Speaker 3 (17:41):
That that one. Yeah, that's just like you might as
well scream Number five, Need you now, lady A.
Speaker 2 (17:47):
That's a good one. Kind of whispery m hmm.
Speaker 3 (17:49):
Number four one of my mom's favorites. Nothing but a
g things.
Speaker 4 (17:55):
I saw her do that one.
Speaker 2 (17:55):
She crushed like two three if you would never expect
that she would have the.
Speaker 4 (18:01):
Even know the song, and she just demolishes it is
her favorite part.
Speaker 2 (18:04):
Ready to make an entrance. Let her make an entrance,
because you know about you give it a microphone first.
You know Kelly Clarkson Abobble.
Speaker 5 (18:11):
You know Kelly Clarkson does those songs better than the
original artist? That song your mom does better than Snoop
and Drank.
Speaker 3 (18:17):
Number three, Don't go Break in My Heart Elton John
and Kiki d Don't go breaking Mahu.
Speaker 2 (18:22):
That's a that's another one that you better be able
to sing a little bit.
Speaker 4 (18:26):
Number two.
Speaker 3 (18:26):
Shallow Dogger come on number one, a song that you
actually had performed in front of you by two people
you were dating at the same time, back when you
lived onto Hanga. The boy is Mine is Mine.
Speaker 2 (18:44):
Yes, that's a good gen. You need to give it up.
Speaker 1 (18:49):
Had more Mario Lopez coming up.
Speaker 2 (18:56):
You're all Mario Lopez saw this and thought it was interesting.
You're no maybe calling the shots when it comes to
your friends. A new study out of Cornell says scent,
not just looks or vibes, is a big part of
why we instantly connect with people. That makes someone's natural
scent in their go to deodoran or Colonne. It could
actually predict chemistry better than appearances. So next time you
(19:17):
meet someone and you just click, it might be less
about what you see and more about what you smell.
I agree with this. That's why I make hygiene a
top priority and make sure I'm always smelling on point
in the cologne is good to go.
Speaker 4 (19:31):
I'm blown away by the red or blue. Red or blue.
Speaker 2 (19:35):
Depends NEI or day. I'm blown away by the surprising
amount of celebrities who vocalize not showering That trips me out. Yeah,
and there's a lot of them.
Speaker 4 (19:45):
It's puzzling.
Speaker 1 (19:47):
It is.
Speaker 2 (19:47):
Hit me up on X let me know what you think.
Ad On Mario Music rolls on as we get ready
to go to one last thing, Marion Courtney Lopez.
Speaker 4 (19:55):
Here is still a little time to get a song
