Speaker 1 (00:00):
Real fun with Mario Lopez.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
All right, your weekend pregame starts now. Mario Lopez. Here,
we got a lot going on today. My guest is
Vanessa Hudgens, the newest champion on the mass singer. My
wife and I are going to be facing off in
another fake debate, and we're going to take a look
at everything new hit in theaters and streaming. So let's
turn the music up. You're on with Mario Lopez. You're
a Mario Lopez. Let's take a look at what's on
(00:23):
TV today. What do we got?
Speaker 3 (00:24):
Netflix has Jurassic World chaos theory and animated series where
a young paleontologist discovers a global conspiracy that brings danger
to dinosaurs and humans.
Speaker 2 (00:34):
Ooh, and they went animated with it. Interesting, Max says.
Speaker 3 (00:38):
Diary of an Old Home homeowners share the original features
that make their old homes unique.
Speaker 2 (00:43):
Okay, that's kind of cool.
Speaker 3 (00:45):
I like History, and CBS has season two of Lingo.
Rupe Paul is back to host this word guessing game show.
Speaker 2 (00:51):
Rue Paul has been killing it with her drag queen show,
and I forgot that she hosts a game show as well.
Speaker 1 (00:59):
Okay, go ahead.
Speaker 2 (00:59):
Rep Maria Lopez. Here was some quick buzz. I'm kind
of feeling for our buddy, Teresa Judice. Raising a teenage
daughter is no easy task. Her eighteen year old was
recently an aret that smashed up her brand new Mercedes convertible.
No one was hurt. Fortunately, police say it was actually
the other driver's fault. But plenty of stress. Nonetheless, Yes,
(01:21):
that is very stressful. Glad to hear. She's all right.
Let's get back to Musico Mario Courtney Lopez. Time for
another fate debate where the topics are made up on
the spot, but the passion is real. Who's pro who
is con?
Speaker 4 (01:33):
Today?
Speaker 3 (01:34):
I'll let you pick what do you want to be?
I think Courtney picked last time.
Speaker 2 (01:37):
So I will be pro because I am a positive indict.
You will be pro oday.
Speaker 5 (01:41):
I feel negative.
Speaker 3 (01:42):
Courtney will be conn. About fifteen seconds to make your case.
Ten second rebuttal Your topic today is memories memorise all alone.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
Is that a song? Yeah, but it's not all alone.
It's in the corner of my mind, in the corner
of my mind, Barbara Streisand right, barbar Streisand.
Speaker 5 (02:00):
Clearly you have no memory of this song.
Speaker 2 (02:02):
I don't is it her? Yeah, well from Katz's cat
is it Barbi Streisan or my crazy?
Speaker 5 (02:06):
I think she did record it.
Speaker 2 (02:07):
She did record it. Are we talking about the song?
Are we talking about actual memories? It's up to your determination.
Speaker 3 (02:12):
You can argue whatever you want, debate whatever you want,
memories and go.
Speaker 2 (02:16):
If one didn't have memories, one doesn't have a reason
to live. You can take a lot from person, but
you can't take their memories. And often times when I'm
down and out, I think back on the fond memories
of my life and it gets me through the day.
Speaker 3 (02:32):
Thank you, missus Lopez. You're against memories, memories all alone
in the corner.
Speaker 5 (02:39):
First of all, I've never known you to be down
and out, and I know if you're going to think
of memories, you're not going to want to think of
year two thousand and four. Because that's why I think
we should forget memories and forget our past.
Speaker 3 (02:51):
Mister Lopez, your pro memories.
Speaker 5 (02:54):
And also two thousand and Sixez, what.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
Happened in two thousand and six or five? So basically
made my two thousands. Yet didn't I meet you in
the mid two thousands.
Speaker 5 (03:02):
Oh, I'm still a part of your life, So I'm
not a memory yet.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
There is certain memories that one would like to put
behind you. I've done a pretty good job of putting
those behind me. But those fond ones are the ones
that get you through those tough times. And often you
seen Streisan song.
Speaker 3 (03:20):
Memories which we just realized a few minutes ago.
Speaker 5 (03:25):
And you do sound like a dying cat. So that's
why we are not.
Speaker 2 (03:28):
The movie cat. So we are not.
Speaker 5 (03:31):
We don't need to hear memories or think of them
or remember them.
Speaker 2 (03:35):
Let's know you think what at at Martin?
Speaker 6 (03:38):
Tell Mario what you think on Twitter at Spawn with
Mario More Mario Lopez.
Speaker 2 (03:43):
On the way, what a Mario Lopez Here. Let's take
a look at some podcasts that are getting a lot
of buzz on the iHeartRadio.
Speaker 3 (03:48):
App The final episode of Bethany Frankels Just Be Divorced.
Find out why she canceled herself.
Speaker 2 (03:54):
Huh.
Speaker 3 (03:55):
Paper Ghosts, the Ozark's true crime pod about a serial
killer who terrorized the Ozarks in nineteen eighty nine. Wow,
not to be confused with The Jason Batem Show exactly.
And The bright Side, a daily dose of inspiration from
different celebrity guests.
Speaker 2 (04:08):
Interesting. Okay, you can listen to this show by the
way as a podcast. We're very interesting. Just search on
with Mario. What out Mario Lopez Here. We're gonna play
a few more songs and then today's guest should be
zooming in. It's Vanessa Hudgens. She just won the Mass Singer.
But the big news is that she has a baby
on the way. We're gonna find out all about it
coming up next. So Bro Mario Lopez joining me now
(04:31):
on zoom. The winner of season eleven of the Mass Singer,
The Goldfish, My girl, Vanessa Hudgeons. How are you, Vanessa?
Speaker 4 (04:40):
I'm great, I'm a winner.
Speaker 2 (04:41):
You are way and I want to get to all that.
But first off, I've been so happy for you. Congratulations
on your pregnancy. I gave you so much love on
my show Access Hollywood and I was like, Oh, she's
gonna be the best mom. That's awesome. Now did you
choose to find out if it's the jender head, if
it's a boy or girl?
Speaker 1 (04:59):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (04:59):
Yeah. I'm not like a person who would like wait
fresh things. In general. I'm a very like not anxious,
but I'm definitely a controller, so I like knowing things.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
Yeah, you know, I waited for all my kids to
find that wild surprise cops.
Speaker 4 (05:16):
To you, I mean to each their own.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
But yeah, convincing, But oh it's fun. It's fun. Do
you have like the names picked out?
Speaker 4 (05:25):
Yet?
Speaker 2 (05:25):
You don't need to tell me. I'm just saying, is
everything all? I gotta assume? No, you don't really? Do
you have contenders?
Speaker 1 (05:35):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (05:35):
I have contenders and stuff, but like, I don't know.
I just feel like it's so funny that people choose
to pick a child's name before they meet them. I'm like,
how do you know that? Like that's their name just
because you like it? Like what about their essence?
Speaker 2 (05:52):
We are so opposite because not only did I find
out or did not find out the gender of all
my kids, I also had all their names picked out
before they were even more. I have boys, this if
I have girls? Well, I knew I wanted Catholic Italian
sounding names because my wife's Italian and the Lopez covers
the Latin part, so I figured to have that. But
but that's okay. How far along are you? By the way,
(06:16):
I'm far? Are you far? Like any day?
Speaker 4 (06:21):
No?
Speaker 2 (06:21):
I'm not that okay? Good when you look awesome. I'm
so happy.
Speaker 4 (06:26):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
That's great. Well, I want to talk about the Mass Singer,
but we got to take a little break hold on.
We're gonna have more of Vanessa Hudgens coming up.
Speaker 1 (06:32):
More fun on the way on with Mario Lopez.
Speaker 2 (06:35):
Mario Lopez here hanging out with Vanessa Hudgens, and let's
talk about Mass Singer. Were you a fan of the
show prior?
Speaker 4 (06:41):
It was? Yeah, Like, it's definitely like something that has
been just like a wild concept to me that I
never really expected to do. And when the opportunity came up,
it just kind of came up the right moment, the
right time, and I said sure, why not and the
ended up being a really fulfilling thing for me.
Speaker 2 (07:03):
That's awesome. Yeah, well obviously worked out really well too.
I feel like I would have guessed you because I
know your voice really well. I feel like I would
have Yeah.
Speaker 4 (07:10):
I mean that's the thing. I also didn't really try
to hide it, like, yeah, you know, there's an integrity
that you have in performance, and I wasn't going to
try to like make myself sound different. You know, you
can't see me.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
That's enough, exactly. Well, you can see those performances over
at Onmorio dot com. Hold on, Vanessa, I got to
play some more music. What a Mario Lopez here? I
got the season eleven winner of the Mass Singer on
Zoom with me, Vanessa Hudgens. So were you pretty good
at keeping a secret where any of your friends or
family able to guess?
Speaker 1 (07:41):
I mean, like, I don't.
Speaker 4 (07:43):
Know if I wasn't supposed to tell my thing, I
can not.
Speaker 2 (07:50):
I can tell them all like, hey, exactly, exactly.
Speaker 4 (07:53):
Yeah, But like you know, it's always fun, Like they're
they're my biggest fans and supporters, so it was nice
to have them like sneak them in, bring them in,
and have them there a little bit along the way.
Speaker 2 (08:06):
Of course. Of course, all right, let's play more music.
You're on, Maria Lopez, my guest today's actress, Vanessa Hudgens,
and come in soon, Bad Boys, Ride or Die? How
was it working with Will and Martin again?
Speaker 4 (08:18):
It's great. It's always great. They're just such professionals, and
it's always fun to be a part of that series.
You know, like they have a very specific energy that
is so much fun, end uplifting to be around, and
it's just they're funny and we get to do a
lot of action and be badasses. So it's kind of
(08:39):
like a win win.
Speaker 2 (08:40):
Absolutely looking forward to seeing that Titt Theaters on June fifth.
Gotta take a little break though. We're gonna wrap it
up with Vanessa in just a moment.
Speaker 6 (08:46):
You're the full interview now at on with Mario dot com.
More Mario Lopez on the way.
Speaker 2 (08:52):
Mario Lopez Here, we're wrapping things up with Vanessa Hudgens.
And I saw an ig you went to see Fish
at the Sphere. I wouldn't have guessed we're into that band.
They have a very loyal following up, and you know,
I was like, Okay.
Speaker 4 (09:04):
My husband is a very big Fish fan, a baseball player,
but he's also a drummer and he loves the jam bands.
And it was a giant fan of Fish and we've
seen them once before. But I was like, at this sphere,
I feel like we have to be there. Yeah, And
it was by far one of the coolest concerts I've
(09:26):
ever been to.
Speaker 2 (09:27):
Yeah, and that's such an awesome venue too.
Speaker 4 (09:30):
Gosh, it was so insane. It's just like the most
transportive concert experience. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (09:36):
Hey, that's cool. He's a drummer. I played the drums
growing up too, and I saw you I think the
last time. I might have been at a Dodgers game, yes,
a while back. There are you? Are you baseballed out
or you a fan prior?
Speaker 4 (09:49):
I wasn't necessarily a fan prior. I my dad used
to bring me to baseball games. But now, like gott
very invested and I actually understand the game now, I think,
which changes things. Before I was just kind of like,
I have no clue what's going on?
Speaker 1 (10:05):
Right?
Speaker 4 (10:06):
Good?
Speaker 2 (10:06):
Now I got it right on. Well, It's always so
good to see you when I hope to get to
see you in person again soon. Congratulations on everything, and
listen you can see the Goldfish performances at on with
Mario dot Com. Vanessa, thanks for hanging out, Thank you,

of the lasagna loving cats. Chris Pratt has taken over
the animation world. My guy is Garfield. He was super Mario.
He was the lego guy. That's just off the top
of the Lego guy. Yeah, he was the lego guy
in the in the Lego movie. Ironically, Chris Pratt does
(11:21):
not like lasagna in real life. Oh what doesn't like lasagna? Yes, seriously.
Speaker 3 (11:26):
Furiosa a Mad Max saga It's in theaters, a prequel
to Fury Road, starring Anya Taylor Joy as a young Charlize.
They're on.

I love this franchise Mel Gibson back in the day
with Mad Max and Road Warrior. Oh that was my jam.
Speaker 3 (11:40):
Kyle has recently rewatched a lot of them. He was
telling me and they hold up. Did you know the
first one it wasn't released in the US.

No, I know, it was just Australia. Yeah, where they
kill his wife and kids.
Speaker 3 (11:51):
It's like, I didn't realize that but yeah, Atlas on Netflix,
Jennifer Lopez is fighting for humanity in a future where
artificial intelligence is trying to eliminate all humans.
Speaker 2 (12:01):
That sounds a little too close for comfort right there.
Speaker 3 (12:04):
And The Beach Boys on Disney Plus a documentary about
the band that revolutionized pop music.
Speaker 2 (12:10):
I'm interested in seeing that. That would be really cool.
More Mario Lopez coming up, Mario Lopez here, and I
hope my family's listening right now, because this would be
the perfect father's day. If the iconic light up dance
Floor from Saturday Night Fever, one of my all time
favorite movies, is hitting the auction block. Price tag is
expected to be around two hundred thousand. Maybe they'll take
(12:33):
lay away. I didn't think that'd be that hefty there,
if you're looking for something a little cheaper. They're also
optioning off the arc of The Covenant from Indiana Jones.
That should only be about sixty thousand. That seems like
a like a deal. But the dance floor is a
couple hundred. Wow, what a Mario Lopez here. My girl,
Jojo Siwa recently celebrated her twenty first birthday. It sounds
(12:55):
like she went a little too hard if you thought
she was a little chaotic sober, you got to hear
this story. Head over to the iHeartRadio app and search
Jojo Siwa. Right now, let's play some more music here
A Mario Lopez got some celebs turning a year older.
I'm gonna try to guess the ages. Who do we got?
Speaker 3 (13:10):
John c Riley from Boogie Knights, Talladega Knights, any movie
The Ends and Knights.
Speaker 2 (13:16):
I'm gonna say my guy's sixty one? Fifty nine? Is
he fifty nine?
Speaker 5 (13:20):
Okay?
Speaker 4 (13:21):
Two years?
Speaker 2 (13:21):
Al right?
Speaker 3 (13:22):
Alfred Molina from Spider Man two, Fiddler on the Roof, He's.
Speaker 2 (13:25):
Awesome and a great actor. I think so underrated. He
was awesome in Boogie Knights, throwing that that's Cosmo. He's Chinese.
Speaker 3 (13:33):
Yeah, I know who you're talking about now.
Speaker 2 (13:34):
He was great in that movie.
Speaker 3 (13:36):
Alfred Molina's gotta be sixty seven seventy one?
Speaker 2 (13:40):
Wow? Okay?
Speaker 3 (13:41):
And Tommy Chong from Up in Smoke, Half Baked, that
seventy show legend briefly went to prison for selling bongs online.
Speaker 2 (13:50):
Amen, isn't it true? I think the light he's the
best bad impression. He's gotta be seventy seven eighty six.
Whoa he is eighty eighty six.
Speaker 1 (14:06):
Mario Lopez coming up.
Speaker 2 (14:08):

our obscure holiday is National Asparagus Day. Pass. I had
some asparagus yesterday, one of the few cooked vegetables that
I actually like. So I'm down with this. Mario Lopez here.

With Mario Lopez Hollywood Bus.
Speaker 2 (14:56):
So it's been more than seven months since Matthew Harry's death.
The autopsy said it was caused by the effects of ketamine,
but it's not that open and shut for police. They're
still trying to figure out who gave him the drug
and under what circumstances. And it's not just the LAPD
who is on the case. So is the DEA well
just a matter of Samantez I think at this point,
(15:19):
because bottom line it was still drugs at the end
of the day that unfortunately he's been battling for a
long long time. So sad for such a nice guy too.
Speaker 1 (15:31):
Or Mario Lopez coming up.
Speaker 2 (15:34):
Y'allmarl Courtney Lopez. Before we take off of the weekend,
we're gonna give the final word with our comment of
the week.

What do we got?
Speaker 3 (15:39):
So?
Speaker 5 (15:40):
They said, my husband saw a rabbit in our yard
eating grass this morning and said that would be like
sitting in the field of French fries. He's right, Can
you imagine a carrot? To Bunnies are like French fries
to me?
Speaker 2 (15:55):
First of all, he said grass. No one mentioned carrot.
I mean that's some I think about carrots. My carrots
if they're cold, only if they're cold. Karts too.
Speaker 1 (16:06):
I want to be the tweet of the week.
Speaker 6 (16:08):
The tweet us on with Mario and hang on because
