key dangerous.

The time right?

Speaker 6 (08:50):
All right?

Speaker 2 (08:51):
All right?

Speaker 4 (08:51):
Do you know why cooi fish always travel in pacts
of four? Why if attacked, coy A, B and C
will scatter, leaving behind the decoy.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
The silence, the silence. No, you know, I like the commitment.

Speaker 3 (09:12):
I like the commitment, but again it's one of those
you just gotta said you gave it too much fair.

Speaker 4 (09:15):
Okay, so if attacked Coy A B and Cbell scatter
leaving behind.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
The decoy, less is more. Sometimes let the words do
the work.

Speaker 5 (09:24):
Well, we already knew the punks, we knew.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
The pleasure that decoy. That's good. You mix it up.
I like it. You're more Courtney Lopez. Time to get
our brains working with a little random question, which you got, quarto?

Speaker 4 (09:36):
What was the toy you always wanted for Christmas as
a kid but you never got?

Speaker 2 (09:40):
Well, I was always realistic.

Speaker 3 (09:41):
I didn't want to put stuff out there that I
knew was going to be too much for my mom
and dad and stuff. But I did really want at
one point this mongoose bike, and I ended up with
like a Huffy. But the mongoose were really, really pricey.
I remember that, and I like my heffee.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
It was cool.

Speaker 3 (09:59):
But the on Goose, the Redline and the Diamondback I
remember vividly, those were all really pricey for back in
the day. Yeah, and you know I got a I
got a old school Uffy and that was cool. I
still did my little jumps off the curve, but you know,
I didn't let my parents know that I was disappointed
or I wanted something else, yes, you know they.

Speaker 2 (10:14):
Know now.

Speaker 1 (10:17):
Or Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
You're on Mario Courtney Lopez. Another reminder that I heard

Mario Lopez here, getting close to the end of our
radio fund. Just one last thing to get to plus
probably enough time to play a request or two before
I get out of here. So if you got a
song you want to hear, hit me up at all
on Mario on X.

Speaker 2 (11:00):
Lopez. Almost time to pass. The mind been out before
we squeeze in one last thing. It's official.

Speaker 3 (11:04):
As we get older, we get pickier about what music
we like, but that's not all. We also tend to
stay passionate about a lot of the music that we
grew up with.

Speaker 2 (11:12):
Makes sense.

Speaker 3 (11:13):
Those are the results of a study of fifteen years
in more than a million songs. The study revealed that
we have fewer favorite songs as we get older and
tend to stick with one genre.

Speaker 2 (11:21):
They found that when we're young, you want to.

Speaker 3 (11:23):
Experience everything, and later in life we've usually found one
style of music that we identify.

Speaker 4 (11:27):
I will we know what you identify.

Speaker 2 (11:29):
All that's not true. Here's your thoughts, raw, No, here's
the thing.

Speaker 3 (11:33):
As you get older, you start being much more selective
about everything, not just music. I think as I've gotten older,
I've I've still maintained a pretty wide passion for music.

Speaker 2 (11:45):
And I'm gonna tell you why. Yes, when I'm entertaining, we're.

Speaker 3 (11:48):
Playing botching, we're outside, I do love me some yacht rock,
But when I'm training, I'm not listening to the yacht rock.
So every day at the gym, I either like some
house music medium, believe it or not. When we're doing
jiu jitsu, when I'm boxing, I like pop. You know.

Speaker 2 (12:01):
At night, I like our R and B. So it
depends on the coas n that's when you wear the
red clone. That's right, that's when the red coon.

Speaker 3 (12:10):
So you know what I mean I like the R
and B or in my car, I like something different,
but yeah, Southside, you know, so it depends.

Speaker 5 (12:16):
Yeah, I actually I agree with you and kind of
disagree with this in that I kind of feel like
I've been exploring more music as I've gotten older, Like
I go back to like the sixties and the seventies,
and I listened to every genre like by year and
like all the hit songs, and I don't know, I.

Speaker 3 (12:33):
Go back to as opposed to I think they mean
you're not experiencing a lot of the new stuff.

Speaker 2 (12:37):
Yeah, that's true. That's I mean, we do because we're here.

Speaker 1 (12:40):
But like more Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 2 (12:45):
All right, that's it, Thanks so much. Running out with
us as always. If you missed anything or just want
to relist some of our radio fun hit Uponmara dot com.
More Fun tomorrow.

Speaker 4 (12:53):
Until then, this is Mario and Courtney Lopez saying, you know,
we love our latinos.

Speaker 1 (12:58):

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
