Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is on with Mario Lopez.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
Halfway through the week. What up, Mario Lopez.
Speaker 3 (00:06):
You're back in studio, fired up because they get to
hang with you over the next few hours. A lot
of music to play and a lots to get into.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
We're going to dig into the Hollywood.
Speaker 3 (00:12):
Buzz, break downwards, trending plus, going to take up a
new case and serve up some fresh justice in Quarto's court.
Going to honor someone with a good deed, Lopezzy, and
more so, turn it up. You're on with Mario Lopez.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
A Mario Lopez. Time to honor a good deed with
our good deed, Lopezzy. Who gets it? This week?
Speaker 4 (00:30):
Eleven year old Cameron Balfour.
Speaker 5 (00:32):
She was at a summer camp less than twenty miles
from Camp Mystic when the devastating floods tore through Central Texas.
She realized how lucky that she was to have been spared,
and an idea came to her during her car ride
back to her home from camp. She was concerned that
pets might be overlooked, so she started baking and selling cookies,
with proceeds going to local pet rescues and animal shelters.
(00:53):
She and her friends posted about it on social media
and the word spread. Orders started pouring in and so
far she's baked forty batches of cookies and raise more
than forty three hundred dollars to help animals.
Speaker 2 (01:04):
What an awesome little girl.
Speaker 3 (01:05):
She's gonna do big things later on. And see, when
you lose faith in kids, you hear stories like that
and you feel better.
Speaker 2 (01:11):
More Mario Lopez on the Way You're All Mario Lopez
more music Edage Away right after Fraser breaks down. A
few of the new things hitting TV and streaming.
Speaker 5 (01:20):
MTV has the season forty one premiere of The Challenge
whoa forty one seasons, which is insane.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
They've got to do multiple seasons.
Speaker 4 (01:27):
It's multiple a year.
Speaker 5 (01:28):
Yeah, yeah, definitely multiple a year because I think MTV
has only been around for like forty four years, right,
and these reality stars didn't exist in the eighties. HGTV
has a series premiere of Chasing the West, new series
where Jonathan and Drew Scott will help families who wish
to escape the hectic city life discover the incredible attributes
of living on a ranch.
Speaker 3 (01:47):
Wow, the Scott brothers really have taken over that network.
Speaker 5 (01:50):
How do they have enough time to tape all of
these shows, because there's like fifteen or twenty of them.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
There really is, and really nice guys too.
Speaker 3 (01:57):
I recently did something with them that'll be able to
talk about soon, but it turned out great.
Speaker 5 (02:04):
And Hulu began streaming the new docu series Mister and
Missus Murder, a four part series exploring the mysterious death
of Mike Williams, who disappeared while duck hunting in two thousand.
He was initially presumed to have been killed by alligators,
but suspicions arose when his widow married his best friend
after his disappearance.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
Ooh, okay, and what a title. Mister and Missus Murder
gave me the music and fun coming your way.
Speaker 3 (02:28):
Mario Lopez here also reminding you to get your tickets
for our iHeartRadio Music Festival, presented by Capitol One. It's

Speaker 2 (02:56):
All Mario Lopez Corno out this week, But.
Speaker 3 (02:58):
That doesn't mean we can't.
Speaker 2 (02:59):
Still, I'll serve up some justice.
Speaker 5 (03:01):
All rise and welcome Judge Mario Torta Lopez side for
Mario's court.
Speaker 2 (03:07):
Why am I at Tortha?
Speaker 5 (03:08):
That was your middle name? We determined since you didn't
have one before. I can't remember why we decided that,
but it was I know, obviously.
Speaker 3 (03:15):
A Mexican sandwich, but it's also slang for a heavy
set woman, which is not very nice.
Speaker 5 (03:20):
All right, when you we'll take it over to judge.
Guest Judge Mario Lopez no longer Torto. Today's case comes
from Dorothy Robinson. My husband and I just finished a
three month health workout program that we stuck too strictly,
especially when it came to the diet part. Last week,
we decided to have a major cheat meal to celebrate
our progress. Order some food from one of our favorite spots.
(03:40):
I don't want to name the place for reasons that
you'll understand momentarily, but this place makes an appetizer that's
similar to outbacks blooming Onion long story short, my husband
volunteered to pick it up, took a really long time.
When he got home, the blooming onion was missing. He
said they must have forgotten to include it. I was upset,
so I called them and I complained. When they denied
forgetting it, I got really mad yelled at them. I
(04:00):
since have found out he actually ate it on the
way home.
Speaker 4 (04:02):
And lied because he felt guilty. I don't know whether
it the embarrassed matter or just laugh hysterically.
Speaker 3 (04:07):
Wow, Dorothy Robinson, Oh, I got it, so he did
admit it.
Speaker 2 (04:12):
Here's the thing.
Speaker 3 (04:13):
I wouldn't make too big of a deal about it,
but you did waste time. You waste a lot of
energy and negative energy towards the restaurant, which didn't do
anything wrong. Your husband's got to make it up to you.
I wouldn't drag it out, but I would give him
a little scolding. And he's got to make it up
to you somehow. And the next cheat meal, he doesn't
get to cheat, only you do.
Speaker 4 (04:33):
And I think you have to find a new favorite restaurant.
Speaker 2 (04:36):
Yeah, yeah, exactly.
Speaker 1 (04:39):
Or Mario Lopez coming up.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
You're a Mario Lopez if you're a fan of K pop,
specifically BTS.
Speaker 3 (04:46):
There's a new fan documentary screening in theaters today.
Speaker 2 (04:49):
Forever we Are Young is the name of it.
Speaker 3 (04:51):
The film explores the diverse and socially active nature of
the BTS Army, highlighting their dedication, creativity, positive impact they've
had on each other and the world. My daughter has
recently got into this. It's fascinating and that's a beautiful
thing about music. Just transcends language and everything. All Mario
dot com and check out a trailer and find out one.
(05:12):
All right, keep the music coming at you. You're on
Mario Lopez. Got a song you want here? Drop it

Speaker 3 (05:30):
Fraser has been filtering through our mention so we can
see what's on your mind.
Speaker 2 (05:33):
What'd you find?
Speaker 4 (05:34):
This is from att walkin Davis.
Speaker 5 (05:36):
Maybe I'm alone, but my favorite social media timeline is
on venmo Because why is my boss making his wife
paying back for her Starbucks coffee talk about where rumors
get started.
Speaker 3 (05:45):
Wait, you can see where everybody else is venmo.
Speaker 5 (05:48):
We Yeah, if you don't, if you don't make your
account private or whatever, then there's a timeline when you
open venmo and you can literally just see like Nichols
paid Fraser for food or whatever.
Speaker 4 (06:01):
Really, yeah, it's easy. It doesn't seem it's like, yeah,
it's weird.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
That is odd.
Speaker 3 (06:05):
And why would transactions be sort of public like that?
Speaker 5 (06:08):
I don't know, but some people have fun with I
guess the messages that they'll kind of write when they
send money or whatever, so then those become public and
I don't know, but it is interesting, like, wait, are
my public?
Speaker 4 (06:18):
I don't know. I have to look, Nichols.
Speaker 2 (06:19):
You gotta look.
Speaker 3 (06:21):
Do you see do you see the amount of money?
Speaker 4 (06:25):
No? No, you don't see the amount.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
So you don't see the amount of the amount.
Speaker 5 (06:28):
You just see like you just see like the reason
and the names, like somebody paid somebody for whatever, or
somebody requested something from somebody.
Speaker 3 (06:36):
Well you're going to see a lot of uh muay
Thai wrestling all my boys.
Speaker 4 (06:41):
I don't know that yours are public?
Speaker 1 (06:43):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (06:44):
Am I public? Nichols?
Speaker 4 (06:45):
But if you send money to someone who doesn't.
Speaker 2 (06:47):
Have THEIRS, I don't see anything from you.
Speaker 3 (06:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (06:49):
If you send money to someone who doesn't have their
set is public, then yours is also private for that transaction.
Speaker 4 (06:55):
Got it?
Speaker 2 (06:55):
Oh so you got to watch it? Oh wow, I
learned something today.
Speaker 1 (06:58):
