that for me to even.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
Consider how often are you using your pinky other than
when you have tea?

Speaker 5 (00:50):
A lot more than you realize, especially when you're doing
jiu jitsu and you're making a fist as sparse. So
the things that I love to do, I would be hampered,
but I can learn to acclimate.

Speaker 3 (01:01):

Fifty thousand a month, Oh, fifteen thousand a month, No,
one hundred and fifty.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
No two shorts. He was older than me, so he's
got to be about five years too short.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
Gotta be like fifty eight fifty nine?

Speaker 3 (02:56):
Is he fifty nine?

Speaker 2 (02:57):

Speaker 1 (02:58):

Speaker 2 (02:59):
Close son. Finally, car collector and uh. Former late night
hosts Jay Leno.

Speaker 5 (03:05):
Jay Leno who said the sweetest thing recently about his wife,
who is struggling with her health, and he says, I
don't care about anything else or money as long as
I'm here with my wife every day and during this
time she easy. It's a really nice, like beautiful, poignant
moment with Jay Jay, who's got the best wig ever?

(03:26):
And my man isn't his seventies. I'm gonna say, seventy five.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
Seventy five is correct?

Speaker 1 (03:39):
Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 5 (03:41):
You're all Mario Courtney Lopez. Two more songs and then
we're gonna fire off the zooms so we can meet
Tame Tup Tip Tong. From season three to the White Lotus.

Speaker 4 (03:48):
He played one of the only characters you could really
root for. Actually, him and his co star are my
favorite guy. Talk back with Tame Teptaim Tong after top
a hour, Tip Tick.

Speaker 5 (04:00):
Teams SOPs joining me right now. From the third season
of White Lotus actor Tame tacked Tim Tong, how are you, man.

Speaker 6 (04:10):
I'm good. Thank you, Thank you for having me.

Speaker 5 (04:12):
Thank you for taking the time. First of all, you
crushed it as a guide talk in White Lotus, and
I thought, thank you very much. That storyline, in particular
you and the young lady you had a crush on,
that was that was so in romantic and and fun.
I gotta imagine you had a blast working on that set.

Speaker 7 (04:32):
Oh yeah, it's it's just been huh man. I don't
even know what to start. It's just been amazing. Ever
since I got casted for Guy Talking, everything just changed,
you know, like this my whole life, my whole world
just changed for the better, I guess.

Speaker 6 (04:47):
And it's just you.

Speaker 7 (04:50):
Know, the whole experience, you know, being in four seasons
with all these other amazing actors I've watched, you know,
from a from from a young age, and to get
to be in a hotel with him for like seven
months and work with them, it was it was amazing.

Speaker 6 (05:04):
I actually had no I had no bad moments.

Speaker 7 (05:07):
I already enjoyed every moment of it, and I'm still
enjoying it right now.

Speaker 3 (05:11):
I bet.

Speaker 5 (05:11):
All right, hang on, last more to talk about with
Tam Tap Tip Tong, but first one of music. Getting
back to Tam Teptip Tong from the White Lotus here
on Mario Lopez and Tam, I love your character Art.
He really had a great way to wrap up the series,
uh at in the last episode, and he came through

(05:33):
in this sort of heroic fashion and ended up being
a driver, and it looks like you got the girl
and you were going soft on me, but you manned
up when you needed to.

Speaker 6 (05:43):
Yeah, did you know the.

Speaker 5 (05:46):
Way the show is going to end from the beginning
or did they the writers? Did Mike reveal it like
as it went on?

Speaker 6 (05:53):
No.

Speaker 7 (05:53):
So when I first received the script, I read through
it the whole thing, and you know, it was just
amazing to see that ending for my character, because you know,
in the beginning, you know, as I was reading the script,
I was always trying to sort of picture sort of
just like the scene, you know, and sort of how

(06:15):
I am throughout the whole thing. And you know, it
wasn't until the very end that it got me so
excited because it meant that my character has like a
kind of a full arc, you know, like starting from
being that this kind of smiley guy all the time
who's just got a massive crush on on on Mook
and you know, slowly as you know, as he when

(06:36):
he loses the gun, when he's trying to find it,
when he gets it back.

Speaker 6 (06:40):
I just really.

Speaker 7 (06:41):
Enjoyed sort of going through all those layers with that character,
and then to finish it off at the end with
that bang it was just it was so satisfying for me, and.

Speaker 5 (06:51):
It was really about the only one you could get
behind and root is everybody else fats going on?

Speaker 2 (06:57):
You know, there really was.

Speaker 5 (06:58):
There was an alter your motives, You had a crush,
you wanted to do the right thing, and so it
was great. I'm so glad they ended it like that,
not in a negative negative Tam, hang on for me,
quick break. We're gonna come back with White Lotuses Team
Tap Tip Tongue.

Speaker 1 (07:12):
More fun on the way on with Mario Lopez.

Speaker 5 (07:15):
Mario Lopez got Tam Taptip Tongue from the White Lotus
on Zoom. And you're also starting this upcoming Hulu series
Alien Earth.

Speaker 3 (07:22):
And it's actually a prequel to Yes, it's right.

Speaker 7 (07:25):
It is, so I think it takes place before even
the original Alien happens, but it's you know, it's the
first one out of the whole franchise that takes place
on Earth, so you know, it's there's a lot of
excitement there, but you know what happens when an alien
gets released on Earth?

Speaker 6 (07:44):
You know? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (07:45):
Yeah, And you're also working on a movie with Jason
Statham called Mutiny.

Speaker 7 (07:50):
Yeah, so that one was actually a very small role.
But they decided to write me a small role into
that movie because they saw that I would British and
they said, you know, this would be a great.

Speaker 6 (08:03):
Chance to just.

Speaker 7 (08:05):
Get him to have a foot in the door in
the British industry because you know, I was born and
raised in England and you know my parents still live
there and my little brother. So my manager said, you know,
this would be great if even if it's a small role,
because you know, at least you go get to go
and film in England. And then after that we actually
did just rounds of going to meet different agencies. So

(08:27):
I ended up getting getting signed to the Independent Talent
over over in London.

Speaker 6 (08:33):
So it was a very productive trip.

Speaker 5 (08:36):
All right, hang on a few more songs and we're
going to come back with the actor tape. Catch it
up with actor Tam Tap Tip Tong for the White
Lotus this hour. You're on Mario Lopez. So Tame, you're
born and raised in England? Are you by ethnicity?

Speaker 6 (08:50):
Tie? Though yes, both my parents are tie.

Speaker 7 (08:54):
They just they just went to work in England or
you know, back when they were younger, and then just
stayed there.

Speaker 5 (08:59):
Got it because I was going to say you spoken
fluently very well.

Speaker 6 (09:04):
Yeah. You know, it's funny because I think discussion. So yeah,
I have a discussion.

Speaker 7 (09:12):
With my with my manager, and he was saying that,
you know, I'm really trying to you know, the reason
I'm getting you to do so many general meetings with
all these people in LA right now is because I
have a feeling that people must believe that you talk
like how guy talk talks English.

Speaker 3 (09:30):
Right, you know that's a testament you're acting, but you're.

Speaker 6 (09:33):
Right, Yeah, thank you.

Speaker 7 (09:35):
Yeah, I mean I really worked on that because at
first I was kind of cringing at myself, sort of
sort of speaking like a more broken English or tie.

Speaker 6 (09:44):
People call it tinglish.

Speaker 7 (09:46):
So so it took it took a few practices in
front of the mirror to get to to not my
you know, not be cringing at myself. So I'm glad.
I'm glad it was that convincing to people. But yeah,
it's nice to let people know that this is how
I speak.

Speaker 3 (10:04):
No exactly exactly. Good pipes, all right, man, hang on
a little more music come back.

Speaker 5 (10:07):
With Tim wrapping up with Team Tone from the White Lotus.
Mario Lopez here and I saw you work at cella
man supporting your coaster, Lisa.

Speaker 3 (10:16):
But yo, you got pipes yourself? Man, I heard you
singing a little no diggity? Yeah, is that is that?

Speaker 6 (10:22):
I mean?

Speaker 3 (10:23):
Were you just messing around it? Singing something you pursued,
something you always wanted to do.

Speaker 7 (10:28):
Singing music to me is something that's very dear to me.
It started off with just me singing to myself in
the shower and it's at home. I never actually thought
I turned into a career. And so I came to
Thailand and entered this competition and that was that was
in twenty thirteen where I entered this. It was like

(10:52):
a half Big Brother half x Factor competition in Thailand.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
That's a wild promise.

Speaker 6 (10:57):
Yeah, it was crazy.

Speaker 7 (11:00):
I go back to Thailand within the year I was
in this, in this competition and it you know, I
came second in the end, and I got like a
five to five year like contract with this record label.

Speaker 6 (11:14):
But I'm really.

Speaker 7 (11:15):
Into R and B and blues, you know, in hip hop,
and to sing R and B in Thailand at the
time at least, it just wasn't a thing like it
just there just wasn't a market for it. So they
try to make me do rock and like like T pop,
you know, a type hop, but I just wasn't feeling it.

Speaker 6 (11:33):
So you know, that's.

Speaker 7 (11:34):
Where I shifted heavily to acting, and I'm glad I
did because you know, it led to this. But music
has always been a big part of me. So even
when I was in the military here and during basic training,
there was no music. The only music you ever hear
was the national anthem in the morning, and that's why
it made me realize.

Speaker 6 (11:54):
I can't, I can't. I can't live without music.

Speaker 7 (11:56):
So I would be singing to myself, humming to myself
as I'm doing all this trade running and yeah, that's
why we really realized I need to I need to
also do music as well.

Speaker 6 (12:06):
So I'm really glad that that No Diggity.

Speaker 7 (12:11):
Clip went viral because it just really gave me another
shot to do music here in the US.

Speaker 6 (12:17):
Yeah, where R.

Speaker 7 (12:18):
And B and blues it's actually you know, really l liked.
So I can't wait to do some music here. And yeah,
I've already met with a few music producers and we're
trying to work on something.

Speaker 6 (12:29):
Good for you. Man.

Speaker 5 (12:31):
I like your style, brother, I like your style. Congratulations,
I'm so happy. Thank you very much for your tame

Speaker 5 (14:00):
All right, you're all Mario Lopez inching closer and closer
to graduation season, Yes, which can sometimes make you nostalgic
for your own high school days. Ah, because a new
survey is bringing down some of the stuff we did
back of the day. Apparently sixty seven percent of us
lie to our parents, half of us got grounded, and

(14:20):
a third of us snuck out of the house at night.

Speaker 3 (14:24):
Well, I rarely lad.

Speaker 5 (14:25):
I gotta be honest because I was afraid of the conferences.
But a couple times when I got a little sprung
in my sophomore year within older woman, there was some
line and I did get caught. That did not end well. Obviously,
I got grounded a lot. Never try to sneak out
in the middle of the night, my sister did. If
I had fun one day, I couldn't have fund the
next day.

Speaker 6 (14:46):
At all.

Speaker 5 (14:47):
Mario Lopez on Instagram, at all, Mario on Facebook and
X We love hearing from you, Mario Courtney Lopez here
all right, honey, would you find the day.

Speaker 4 (14:54):
Well, this is from Odd Cheap and they said, finally said,
miho to a ca for the first time of my
life and a modelospond in my.

Speaker 3 (15:03):
Hand, Odd cheap, very funny.

Speaker 2 (15:06):
Miho.

Speaker 5 (15:07):
Well, the exact translation is sun in Spanish, but it's
a term of endearment.

Speaker 4 (15:12):
Like I mean Juan.

Speaker 5 (15:14):
And you'll say it to usually family members and stuff
or kids that you're trying to be sweet to. But yes,
the modelo is a is a Mexican thing. Is it
the Mexican beer? And very popular in our community.

Speaker 1 (15:24):
More Mario Lopez coming up, Oh, Mario Lopez.

Speaker 5 (15:28):
And if you're like me, you probably always try to
find ways to optimize your time.

Speaker 3 (15:32):
So what does the perfect day look like?

Speaker 5 (15:34):
Well, researchers have reportedly use science to figure out what
a perfect day looks like. I guess it's subjective, but
here's what they say. An hour of eating and drinking. Okay, okay,
I'm down.

Speaker 2 (15:44):
So way is that all meals combined? I guess I.

Speaker 5 (15:47):
Can't handle that. I can't handle that. That needs to
be three times the amount. At least only six hours
are working ooh, okay, fifteen minutes of commuting, yes, two
hours of exercise okay, and then three and a half
hours socializing and hanging with friends. Okay, I stand corrected.
I do like this a lot. Science also suggests that
the perfect day would also include six hours with fami.

Speaker 2 (16:10):
When do you sleep?

Speaker 3 (16:11):
Ah, that's six, that's twelve and you.

Speaker 5 (16:13):
Got no, you got another twelve hours sleep? Now that's good.
So close to the end of the nine for us,
Mario Lopez. You gotta squeeze in one last thing. We'd
love to squeeze in a request or two before we
get out of here.

Speaker 4 (16:24):

Speaker 3 (16:33):
Oh Mark Courtney Lopez. Now for one last thing.

Speaker 5 (16:35):
Every think about how your partner's name is saved in
your phone. It might seem small, but relationship experts say
it can say a lot. Some folks go with the
sweet stuff, like pet names. That's what we do inside jokes,
our little nicknames. Yeah, we do all those others full
government name, all formally.

Speaker 3 (16:52):
That's not very romantic. There's no right or wrong.

Speaker 5 (16:54):
Obviously, sometimes it's about privacy, but they say It's like
a quite a little snapshot where your relationship sat be
afraid to be a little playful with their name.

Speaker 3 (17:01):
We have the same nickname in our phone. We do,
we do. We can't say it because we.

Speaker 4 (17:06):
Can't say it, but I do have to say. I
saw in my mom's phone that she had my name
as Courtney Masa Lopez, and I'm like, first government name.
How many Courtney's do you know?

Speaker 2 (17:19):
Apparently?

Speaker 4 (17:19):
Why do you need my maiden name and my last?

Speaker 1 (17:24):
More Mario Lopez on.

Speaker 5 (17:25):
The way, all right, that's it, big, thanks again to
tame Te Tong.

Speaker 3 (17:29):
When the White Lotus are joining us more fun.

Speaker 4 (17:31):
Tomorrow We're going to talk music with Edwin McCain. Until then,
Mario and Courtney Lopez saying good night with Mario Lopez
