Speaker 1 (00:00):
I have one with Mario Lopez.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
All right, Mike's alive. Mario Lopez here back in the
mix to shake off the Mondays. A lot of fun
in store for you today. Actress Yvette Nicole Brown from
Community will be zooming in a little later. She just
performed on the Mass Singer as the Showbird. Also gonna
get to your comments, so hit up my mentions now.
But up next your first look at soul Trained night
on Dancing with the Stars.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
You're all with Mario Lopez. It's so trained Night on
Dancing with the Stars.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
Each couple will have a dance to a song that
was performed on the Iconic Music Show. What an awesome theme.
Rosie Perez is going to be a guest judge. She
used to be a dancer on solo truly yeah back
in the day. She's put it down no elimination tonight.
That's good news for Eric Roberts and reginaldvel Johnson. They're
definitely on the hot seat instead. Derek Hoff will lead

(00:51):
a masterclass centered on the song get Down on.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
It from Cool in the Gang. Oh, I love that song.
What is he doing teaching class?

Speaker 2 (00:59):
I guess he's teaching a class to all the contestants,
and it's more of a recital. We're also going to
be getting an additional episode tomorrow for hair Metal Nights. Yes,
these themes are kind of fun. I like these things
all right.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
More Mario Lopez coming up, you're a Mario Lopez.

Speaker 4 (01:17):
Let's take a look at what's on TV today. ABC
has season seventeen of What Would You Do? A hidden
camera show tonight, and underage teen is pressured to buy
an illegal vape.

Speaker 3 (01:26):
Oh what a funny, funny premise. Uh season seventeen. How
was I not familiar with this?

Speaker 4 (01:33):
Watching this, I'm a little shocked by that as well.
History premiere is Ancient Aliens Origins. Georgio revisits some of
the show's classic mysteries to see how things have changed
in the last fifteen years. Good luck with that, Georgio
and CWO. Season four of Superman and Lois Superman becomes
locked in a brutal battle with Luther's monster.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
Luther as a monster.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
Okay, Mario Lopez here and there's something to celebrate every
single day, and I'm partial to this one. Today is
bathtub Day. I've mentioned quite a few times that I
love me at bathtub. Well, I love me at bath,
hence the bathtub, and it'll be weird if you love
the bathtub, but not a bath, but not a bat
just like that just to kind of hang out, throw

(02:15):
stuff in it, but a bath. I know women I
think have them of one take baths and I guys,
I'm telling you, soak in there. I do it because
I'm always hurting somewhere, and throw some some salt and
it's very relaxing. But you do sleep really really well.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
So happy National Bathroab.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
So if you're Allmorrow Courtney Lopez and it's pretty much
been a month of celebrating our kids' birthdays. They fall
in the same week, and we had a special request
from our son Dominic to go to six Flags Magic Mountain,
which is always a great time in the weather. Happened
to be really nice having to catch the football games

(02:55):
during lunch there. They had a nice little sports bar,
which was cool. And you forget how wild.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
Some of these roller coasters are.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
I mean, if you're down for some cool, intense coasters,
that's the spot. And I was begging my son, I said,
this is why I let you bring your little friends
so they can go with you. I'm only going to
do maybe one or two, and I ended up doing
one or two. And I'm at the age that's all.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
I did one? No I did? I did?

Speaker 5 (03:20):
I identified you doing another one? Okay, well, which one
did you not identify doing? But actually did I did?

Speaker 3 (03:26):
I believe it's going to make a big difference in
this whole thing. I actually did too. I'm sorry. I
did Tatsue. And then I did the coolest water ride,
the river rafting one with my other son Coaster. No,
but it's for that river. That one I actually really
enjoyed and you get drenched. It was so much fun.
My little guy Santino was getting everybody fired up.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
He did it twice in a row, and his shoes
were soggy and it was the boys had an absolute
blast and they were wore out.

Speaker 3 (03:52):
You even got in on the action. Did you ride?

Speaker 6 (03:54):
I did well. I took Sonny two bugs bunny Land.

Speaker 4 (03:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (03:58):
So I did all of those.

Speaker 7 (04:01):
And then with Dominic I promised him one because I
get very motion sickness sick.

Speaker 6 (04:06):
I did the X two.

Speaker 4 (04:08):
Oh that's the first one for you to choose. If
you get motion sickness.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
Into it, that's what the one.

Speaker 4 (04:13):
Here's an amazing roller coaster, but if you motion sickness,
not the right one.

Speaker 7 (04:17):
All I know is I opened my eyes one time
and I don't know if I was up down, left,
right side, and I just closed.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
Them and the initial drop on that one is the best.
It's it's it's fun.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
These these coasters there are next level and you get
a good little workout.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
I think we did like fifteen thousand steps and a
lot of hills, Yeah, a lot of hills.

Speaker 6 (04:35):
The one hills.

Speaker 7 (04:36):
I said, it's equivalent to doing the stair climber for
five hours.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
Yeah, yes it is. The boys went to bed nice
and war our. Yeah, so it was so much fun.
That's the go to move for a party with young teens.
So thank you, six Flags.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
More Fun on the Way on with Mario Lopez.

written a memoir in three children's books. But this is
new territory. Okay, Reese, you're Mario Courtney Lopez top of
your comments.

Speaker 3 (05:33):
What'd you find?

Speaker 1 (05:34):
Honey?

Speaker 6 (05:34):
This is from at John Felix forty nine, and he said,
I spend twenty six years of my life sleeping and
the other fifty two years just being tired.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
John Felix forty nine is probably referring to a post
I made where I read the average person spends twenty
six years of their life sleeping, to which I said, best,
twenty six years of my life. Isn't that crazy if
you think about it?

Speaker 6 (05:59):
But it doesn't feel feel anything.

Speaker 3 (06:02):
It never feels like it.

Speaker 2 (06:03):
But when they said I'll rest when I'm dead, the
irony is if you don't get enough sleep, you will die.

Speaker 3 (06:08):
You'll meet that demise much quicker.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
Mario Lopez will be right back.

p Henson, So I'll take all of that, thank you.

Speaker 2 (08:58):
Yeah, that's not a bad group to be included in
break down. The show bird costume.

Speaker 3 (09:01):
For us, was that your idea? The shows? What's up?

Speaker 8 (09:05):
It was not my idea, It was the producer's idea.
But I loved it. I love that she's got a
little bit of big bird in her. She's a little
bit of a tu can. And I love that she
had pink and green feathers, and we hit a couple
of pink feathers to match. My sorority colors are pink
and green, so we threw some pink in there and
green together and it was heavy.

Speaker 3 (09:22):
Mario.

Speaker 8 (09:23):
It was our harness and the bigos with the feathers.

Speaker 3 (09:26):
Yeah, it was big.

Speaker 8 (09:27):
Yeah, there was a lot to it.

Speaker 1 (09:28):
All right.

Speaker 2 (09:29):
Well, you can see highlights from the Mass Singer at
on Mario dot com. Hold on, got more with a
Vetta Cole Brown in just a.

Moment more Mario Lopez coming up?

Speaker 2 (09:37):

the Mass singer actress Yvette Nicole Brown. And were you
a fan of the shows that something you thought it'd
be fine? You get approached and a big fan of
the show.

Speaker 8 (09:48):
Never thought I would do it on that end. I
was honored to guest judge one year, one episode, but
I never thought I would be behind the mask. I
never wanted to do it, and they've been asking for years,
and I finally thought it's time. It's time to get
behind the mask.

Speaker 3 (10:00):
Nice. Nice?

Speaker 2 (10:01):
Any chances you might hit the recording studio now with
those skills?

Speaker 3 (10:04):
No?

Speaker 8 (10:05):
The Christmas EP for Friends, Okay, okay, you know here's

a lot of shows.

Speaker 3 (10:17):
I remember in Victorious, yes, yes, watched that, so I.

Speaker 8 (10:22):

started in music, So maybe I'll go back now.

twenty four, inside Out Too, as Coach Roberts.

Speaker 1 (10:45):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (10:45):
What a wonderful thing to be a part of.

Speaker 8 (10:47):
Yeah, listen, pinch me. I've already kind of checked off
everything I had on my entertainment bucket list. I did
Inside Out to this year, and then also I was
on Sesame Street with Cookie Monsters Baked Sales, So I've
like kind of knocked off a lot of the things
that I really wanted to do, and being in a
Pixar film was one of them.

Speaker 2 (11:03):
Yeah, and inside Out Too is now streaming on Disney Plus.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
By the way, all right, let's get back to music.

today's guess even Nicole Brown, and I also saw you're
in the new film k Pops, which I know just
premiered at Toronto Film Festival.

Speaker 3 (11:18):
What can you tell us about that one?

Speaker 8 (11:19):
Well, it's Anderson Pok's debut, his directorial debut. It's a
family show set in the world of K pop. And
you know Anderson is part Black, part Korean, and his
son the same soul Rashid. So this is a great
family movie. And I play Anderson's how could she possibly
be his mother or mother?

Speaker 3 (11:37):
That's cool looking forward to that.

Speaker 2 (11:39):
And you've also got this crime drama Family Business, New
Orleans coming.

Speaker 3 (11:43):
Out on b E T Fine. Yes.

Speaker 8 (11:46):
So Family Business is a great show created by Carl
Weber and produced by Tridestin Productions. It's in its fifth
season and now it's spun off its first show. And
this show is starring Lela Rashan and Brandon T. Jackson
Nice and I'm one of the little muppets pops up
on that show, and we're really excited. It's set in
New Orleans and it's a little sexier than the original
Family Business. And my fiance Anthony R. Davis has a role,

(12:08):
a recurring role on there as well. He's getting back
into acting, so it's like a family affair all the
way around.

Speaker 2 (12:12):
Oh, that's very cool. Congratulations on the upcoming nuptials. You
have a date set yet or we have.

Speaker 8 (12:17):
We're circling a date. It will be before twenty twenty
four is over. I can say that.

congrats on everything. I always great to see you in

You find that by searching for the mess around.

Speaker 2 (13:20):
Zoe recently married to one of the property brothers.

Speaker 4 (13:24):

Speaker 3 (13:33):
Incredible.

Speaker 4 (13:34):
You can check that out by searching for all with Mario.

Speaker 3 (13:37):
Mario Courtney Lopez. Let's put a spotlight on my wife
and get Courtney's random question. What do you got?

Speaker 6 (13:42):
All right?

Speaker 7 (13:43):
So a couple of animals had been going viral recently.
What would you rather own as a pet? A baby
hippo or a giant penguin?

Speaker 2 (13:52):
Neither both are vicious and fun. Fact well, not so
much fun for Africans. But hippos kill an average of
five hundred African people a year.

Speaker 4 (14:02):
Yeah, no, there are people don't realize because they think, oh,
they're these big, slow creatures.

Speaker 3 (14:07):
They're not slow at all, especially water and on land.
They're both fast.

Speaker 5 (14:11):
But think about that, over five hundred people think sharks
are so dangerous. We don't have five hundred attacks, much
less deaths.

Speaker 6 (14:18):
Oh, we don't hear of them.

Speaker 3 (14:19):
No, we don't. You can look it up, you can
actually google it.

Speaker 4 (14:22):
I mean, like you hear about shark attacks typically when
they happen over the summer, and there's what like a
handful ten or so, and.

Speaker 3 (14:29):
That's too many. I mean, yeah, but that's the world.
But think about over five hundred a year, and that's
on land and in water.

Speaker 6 (14:35):
Why don't we hear about those.

Speaker 2 (14:37):
Because they're in another country, another continent, and so they
don't get as much attention. I think when you have
that many, it becomes just part of the norm, isn't
that Well, So I'm going with the penguin, did you work.

Speaker 1 (14:48):
More Mario Lopez? On the way?

Speaker 3 (14:51):
You're a Mario Lopez time? Not for one last thing?
These need to come to America as soon as possible.

Speaker 2 (14:56):
Dorito's has unveiled a new flavor coffee right now, they're
only available in Australia and people have tried to say
it's a mix of coffee, cinnamon in salt. Now to me,
that sounds amazing. I love anything coffee flavored. I love coffee,
I love coffee ice cream, I love espresso Martini's, So
I think I'd be down with these director Sabrina Carpenter's Espresso,

(15:18):
and that's a good jam.

Speaker 1 (15:19):
Yes more, Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 2 (15:23):
All right, Our time together is over for today, but
I am back tomorrow with Gavin de Grau and a
new life. Haack in court in his corner until then,
Mario Lopez saying good night
