now on Zoom from Pretty Little Liars original sin actress
Bailey Madison. Welcome back, Bailey. How are you. I'm good.
It's good to see you virtually still one day in person,
hopefully that day is soon. And we were just talking
last time you were here. You had just adopted your dog, Muzby.

He's napping at the moment, and you were happy about that.
Is that because when he's awake he's a little rambunctious. Yeah,
he's just mad. When mom works, he doesn't. He doesn't
like it. So he and I also think he has
a lot to say in interviews and he doesn't know
why no one's talking to him. I do think he
gets jealous. I like that strong personality. Nice. Um, congrats
(00:42):
on p LLL. What's the response been so far from fans? Oh,
it's been overwhelming, to be honest. I I was a
huge fan of the original and obviously felt very protective over,
you know, taking that universe and propelling it into our
own world. Um, and we were really proud of what
we made to be filmed with the show for nine months,
you know, upstate New York, away from our family because

of COVID, and I think gave Dave everything that we
could to this show, and and then you put it
out in the world and it felt very vulnerable and
very fast all of it happening. And um, the reaction
has been a genuinely more beautiful than than I think
any of us could have hoped. So it means, yeah,
it means a tremendous amount nice. What part of upstate
New York we were in Woodstock? Oh cool? You know
(01:27):
I was there, Um, not too long ago. It's it's
pretty up there. It's beautiful. We experienced every season. We
were there for so long. We had ice storms and
fall and you know, winter and and so we experienced
Woodstock and it's fullest. You know, I don't I don't
have any questions about it anymore. I feel like I
really know it. Yeah. Is there a lot of production
(01:49):
that goes on there? Are you guys just happened to
be coming there. They've been doing a lot of production
upstate New York. Um, But we like we basically took
over Socrates, so we we stayed in Woodstock, and then
we had one studio and Socrates another one. A couple
of miles away. We had a school that that they
bought and like completely redin and claver Rack, which you know,
claver Rack has a lot going on there and that's cool.
(02:10):
We had like bats in the place. We were like,
what is going on? This is haunted. Um, but yeah,
we had We had a really good time and you know,
made us really have to, you know, come close with
one another. And I bet and um off camera when
you're just kicking it, what is there to doing wood stock,
That's a great question. We never really figured that out.
(02:31):
We were also filling in the middle of COVID, so
I think all of us were very aware that like
if one of us went down, then that would affect
the entire crew, you know, so we just we hunt
on tight to our bubble and our hours were crazy.
We loved every second. So on the weekends, you know,
it was a bit like let's call our families and
and refresh ourselves and checking on one another. And yeah,
(02:53):
so we were I'm a homebody anyway, so it worked
out for me. I just bought candles on the weekends,
got it, just laid low and red charge. I got it. Um,
I saw your TikTok and it didn't look easy. We're
in a pregnant suit every day. What what was the
hardest part about it for you? I love that you've
seen it. I almost didn't post it. I was like,
is this stupid? And I was like, no, I'm going
to post it. Um. You know. I I've always I
(03:15):
can't wait to be a mom one day. That's like,
that's my dream. But my dream role in life is
to be a mom. So I was really excited to
like try it on and see what I would look like.
I learned a lot of things, which is like, pregnancy
genes are not for me. I want to start a
maternity line. I've learned a lot. I feel really bad
for people that those are their options out there. Um.
But I don't think I experienced. I don't think I
(03:36):
was realizing that I was going to be wearing the
stomach full term. I genuinely wore it for nine months,
um and nineteen hours out of the day. Um. So
I actually I had like my ribs kind of got
dislocated on one of the side because the way that
like the compression was moving and my back obviously wasn't growing,
it was just carrying this weight. So uh yeah, back
(03:57):
pain and spasms and all of that. Well least the
takeaway you know somewhat what to expect, so it won't
be I don't think it'll be as bad. You know. Well, Matt, Matt,
props to to people who actually do it, because I
did get to take mine off at the end of
the night and you know, I didn't have anything kicking
me on the inside and all of that. But but
it was fun. Yeah, it was fun to get to experience.
(04:18):
And I'm like, hopefully season two, you know, I'm like,
just give us that so I can so I can
be not pregnant for a season. N mentioned you mentioned
season two, So have we got an official word yet?
No official word yet. You know, we're we're obviously ready
to go and eager and are so appreciative that it's
not just us waiting to hear, but but everyone who's watching.
(04:40):
You know, it's nice to go through that process and
have people be like, no, we wanted to, so we'll see.
I think there's a lot there's a lot more that
we're able to do and give in a second season,
and um, I think our cast and crew deserves it.
Would be a lot of fun, Yeah, for sure. Um
also on the works for you Play Dead with with
Jerry O'Connell. What what can you tell us about that?
(05:00):
When I love Jerry, I love him so much. Um,
I filmed this movie with him right before Piolo. I
found out I got Piolo on the first day of filming. Um,
it's very different. It takes place pretty much in one
night in a morgue. Jerry is terrifying, and um he's
the bad guy. Possibly. Oh, you can't talk about it. Well,
(05:22):
it's a game of cat and mouse. I can say
between he doesn't play your dad. I just assume he
played your dad, not my dad. No, he's the he's
the coroner in our town a corner. Yeah, it's not
a comedy either. No, it's not a comedy. It's it's
very dark. And he is so disturbing in the movie.
And yeah, I played it for my sister a couple
(05:43):
of weeks ago and she couldn't finish it. She was like,
I want to throw up. It's disturbing. So I know, Well,
it's very different. But we had we had we had
the time of our lives and making it. We did.
We had a great time. Where did you shoot that one? At?
We found it in l A. Oh, that's rare, so rare. Yeah,
we filmed in in this like really abandoned, gross, dirty

like warehouse's perfect for that gross and dirty buildings. Are
you kidding me? That's that's perfect. Yeah. So I got
to be home, which was really nice. I like slept
in my bed, which is never it just never happened,
so it was it was perfect. Well, congratulations on everything
