Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're on with Mario Lopez. Tub You're on Mario and
Courtney Lopez joining me now on Zoom from the Royal
Housewives of Beverly Hills. Erica Jane, Welcome back, Erica.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Have you been I'm good. How are you like to
see you?

Speaker 1 (00:12):
I'm well. Thanks for taking the time to hang with us.
Congrats on the new dock. Bet it all on Blonde
that is dropping on one on Wednesday. What can we expect?

Speaker 2 (00:23):
It is the roads in Las Vegas, my Las Vegas residency.
So you get to see a different part of my life,
separate and apart from real housewives in Beverly Hills.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
How how was it different from filming the Dock compared
to the housewives.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
So you actually are with me on the creative journey
and not in a group of women, which is a
completely different vibe. You're here in my home. You get
to see what goes down and rehearsal, what happens when
we move to the theater in Las Vegas, and everything
in between. And it's hard to now to show eighty
minutes and thirty days.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
No, it really is. And I know you've been at
this for a while. This is not something that you
just sort of too recently. You've been putting in the
work for a minute here, and yeah, these sort of
shows are are daunting. What's the biggest obstacle you faced
in Vegas while putting it together?

Speaker 2 (01:11):
For me, it was different Mario this time. I mean,
I grew up in musical theater, but you know, I
had done Broadway, where you are in an ensemble and
you can do shows where it's like thirty minutes or
forty minutes. But to do your own show in Las
Vegas at a very critical personal time so you have
two like stories running parallel, was very difficult because it
almost was hard to access the fun and the joy

(01:33):
of putting on a show when you have like heavy
things going on in your personal life.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
Where in Vegas by the.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Way House of Blues, Mendeale Bay.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
Oh fun, it's a fun venue. Okay, nice? What do
you like better?

Speaker 3 (01:45):
The Vegas stage or the Broadway stage?

Speaker 2 (01:48):
Oh? Two different things, you know. I mean, obviously there's
the absolute cinnacle of being on Broadway, which is like
you know, as the musical theater person is the best.
But being in Las Vegas and having those over the
top you know venues and access to all of that
great Vegas energy is certainly something completely different but equally
as important.

Speaker 3 (02:08):
Absolutely, let's talk about housewives. So Reunion one just aired.
Reunion Part two is coming up next week. I watched
it last night, and you got off pretty there was
nothing big happened for you yesterday. Is there anything you
can tease coming up? And then in part two or three.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
Well, I'm in a really good place this year, which
I haven't been in the last couple of years. You know,
I finally had a chance to come up for air
and I don't feel cornered or pressured, so I was
in a much more relaxed state. I think that you know,
Kyle has the toughest time to read as well. I
am able to sit back and give my opinion with
some sort of ease this year, which I appreciate.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
And you totally can tell that you're much more relaxed.
And let me tell you, this is my favorite reunion
outfit and Hairstoff aisle for you.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
Oh thank you. I feel really good about it as well.
It was a nice dress where because you know, you
have to think about this like you're seated on this
very small sofa for about eleven twelve hours and it
can get you know, you're used to being in a costume,
but you know it can get really.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
Uncomfortable at time eleven twelve hours. That sounds like an.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
Interrogation that you that it is. You know what it is.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
It is right. Noone's like this like it's breaking you
all down, like breaking your spirits. It's crazy.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
Well it's it's yeah, and it's not for it's not
it's not easy. I think that people do not understand
the time that goes into this, and you have to
pay total attention. You have to be really clocked in
for one of these things, otherwise you get like thrown
for a total loop.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
I bet they could catch you slip it and then
an editing all of a sudden, you know, they catch
you that vulnerable moment and then the boom, that's what airs.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
So you guys, I have been caught many a time
at a very vulnerable moment and it did not work
out well for me. But it's also part of the game,
so you have to sort of commit like this is
these are the rules, and sometimes you win and sometimes
you lose.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
Do you feel these reunions bring more closure, more drama?
Does it help find peace?

Speaker 2 (04:12):
I think all of the above. It depends on you,
your position and who you're talking to. Like, you know,
if you have massive fallout with somebody, perhaps you don't
you know, totally resolve it. But if it's something you
can get past, maybe you do. So at the reunion,
are you cool with everyone or I am? I don't
know if they're cool with me, but I'll find you know.

(04:35):
And that's the other thing too, is you know, you
can only speak from your own perspective. You know, I
know what I you know how I feel, but you
know how other people feel.

Speaker 3 (04:42):
That's on that Let me ask you something. How many
f's do you give?

Speaker 2 (04:47):
Less and less? I mean zero? Now it's like negative
a thousand.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
That's what her song?

Speaker 2 (04:52):
Yeah, oh my god, sorry.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
Well speaking of you were just on Name that Tune
last month?

Speaker 2 (05:02):
Tell me about that Name that tune was very hard
and I did. I shocked myself. You know, you fly over,
you do it and it's like this, It's very difficult
because all of a sudden, the songs that you think
you knew are it's like one or two notes on
the piano and Randy, but I did, okay, so I won.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
Oh no, I was shocked Oh, good for you.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
I went sixty two thousand dollars for Glad, which is great,
and you know, I had a nice time on the show.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
It's a little different under the lights, huh, because like
when you're at home watching and then you played under
the lights a little different.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
It's very different, and the audio is very different. I'm like,
wait a second, like I grew up in music, Hold
on a second, this doesn't sound anything. Yeah, like what
is going on? And you know, just a couple of
plinks on the piano.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
I'm like, no, no, no, one last question. I know you
have the residency in in Vegas. Any shows you're planning
in La by chance?

Speaker 2 (05:59):
I am totally open. We finished out strong on twenty
twenty three, and twenty twenty four is s to be
you know, filled with shows, So I'll keep you posted.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
Lopezz will be there, Yeah for sure.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
Yay.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
Well, thanks for taking the time to hang You can
watch Bet It All on Blonde Wednesday on Bravo Erica.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
