Your second novel coming out on June twenty fourth, The
Four Engagement Rings of Sybil Rain. Oh okay, what's this
one about?
Speaker 2 (00:23):
Yeah, so this one is about Sybil, who she's had
it rough.
Speaker 3 (00:30):
She's actually one of the characters in my first book.
The setting of the first book was on her wedding weekend,
but you know, the wedding weekend did not go as planned.
Speaker 2 (00:43):
She ended up not getting married.
Speaker 3 (00:45):
So this book takes place a year after the whole
fiasco and she's just in need for a good vacation,
so she takes her ticket vouchers that were about to
expire from her honeymoon and goes on acation and it's
very forgetting Sarah Marshall vibes. She ends up running into
her access on the beach and chaos ensues. But it's

really about being confronted with your past and having to
learn how to love yourself to be able to really
be able to receive the love that's right in front
of you and that you deserve. So it's definitely super fun.
It's set in Hawaii. We've got so much chaos.

But I think what's.

Always important for me is anything that I put out
there has like some deeper meaning and connects to something
that I've learned along the way. And I think people
will really be rooting for Sybil as she come to
terms of what love is and how they're happily ever after.

And I heard one of your dreams for this book
is for it to become a movie and you've already
picked out a dreamcast.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
Yeah, you know, you have to just shoot for the stars.
I mean any time that.
Speaker 3 (02:02):
With the books that I've written, you know, I always
think about like how could they be expanded in some
way and take on another life. And when I went
on my first book tour, I know, I came and
chat with the B two Like people always ask like,
would you want this to become you know, a movie
or TV show? And I'm like, well, sure, i'd be amazing.
And I kept getting asked like who would I dreamcast?

And I wasn't fully ready for that. So this time
I was like, I don't think we're.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
Going to ask you. So I'm just gonna like who casting.
Speaker 3 (02:32):
So for Sybil Rain, I think Sidney Sweeney would be
amazing because there's she obviously just killed it with that
last rom com that she did, but she also can
play kind of like have that darkness ye, and I
feel like Sybil has a little bit of both.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
I think Jonathan Bailey would be the best for.
Speaker 3 (02:53):
Jamie the female I mean the male main character. And
then there's another ex Sebastian who I think would be
great played by Leo Woodall. So those are my dream
good casting.
Speaker 1 (03:06):
I like it. Put it out there, and I saw
that you've also joined the tenth season of Bachelor in
Paradise as a bartender, So what is what is your
job there? Aside from handing out drinks? I'm sure there's
more involved totally.
Speaker 3 (03:19):
I really would say that my role is Paradise relations.
If you've ever seen the White Lotus and seen the
concierge that just kind of shows up and helps with.
Speaker 2 (03:28):
Things, that's me. Okay, you to work, Okay, I trying.
Speaker 3 (03:32):
To take my fifteen every fifteen, but there's always just
nice something else that I'm helping with. So it was
really fun to be able to be on there and
bring you know, some female energy into the show, and
it's gonna it's going to be it's the same show
that everyone loves, but it's going to have some differences.
And to be a part of that that newness was

really fun to be had the opportunity nice.

And I know you're about to get married soon. Where
are you chinna not?
Speaker 3 (04:02):
Yeah, So we're doing a destination wedding here in like
a month and a half, so we're going to France.
Speaker 2 (04:07):
It's going to be so amazing. You know, I thought
I wasn't really thinking about the destination wedding.
Speaker 3 (04:15):
I thought it'd be Logistically it's been tough, but I
know once we get there it's going to be.
Speaker 2 (04:19):
It's so fun.
Speaker 3 (04:21):
But definitely, you know, had some extra little bumps in
the road when you're trying to like talk to somebody,
and the French have holidays every other day.
Speaker 1 (04:30):
So now that that'll be that'll be a good time.
I did a destination wedding as well. Is it you
that you met your fiance and a dating app but
he actually lived on your street?
Speaker 2 (04:39):
Yes, that is true.
Speaker 1 (04:40):
That wh you never saw him run around?
Speaker 3 (04:43):
No, I didn't, which I had only lived on that
street for.
Speaker 2 (04:48):
Like a month.
Speaker 3 (04:49):
I just moved like probably the week before, just a
few streets over. But in our dating profiles we had
a picture on the same street and he was it
was we both had lived there.

So it really crazy. Three houses down?
Speaker 1 (05:04):
Wow, three houses down? That's wild.
Speaker 2 (05:07):
Yeah yeah.

And are you from Alabama?

Is it? I'm from Alabama, Yes, well, part usc Lusa.

I'm from in college Town.

My son's going to be a shooting a movie in Birmingham.

I love Birmingham. My brother lives there.

Brook areas. There's so many fun little stores and shops
and good food. Downtown has really been booming, like oh nice,
