Speaker 1 (00:00):
On with Mario Lopez's bro Mario Lopez joining me right now,
comic actor in podcast holds my man, Howie man Dell, Howie,
how are you?

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Man? I think I'm okay. I'm not an expert, but
I feel fine. I feel fine.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
You look fine? And very important question, do you have
Mario overload? Because I have now spoken to you in
New York, in Florida, and currently in California. We spend
far too much time together.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
Yes, it's I mean, well, you're in every state? Is
it all you? Or is this AI? We will never know.
We have some clones. We have some clones.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Season twenty of America's Got Talents premiered Man your back,
of course, as a judge, what do you think of
the town so.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
Far blown away? I don't know if you watched the
first episode, But my golden buzzer, I think my golden
buzzer could possibly take the whole year. But I got
more golden but well, you know, each of us gets
two golden buzzers. The next one was unbelievable, something you
would never think that I would press for. And I

(01:10):
think the talent is above and beyond where it has
ever been. And I think people are pushed by everything
they have seen and been inspired by in previous seasons,
but even more the fact that this is a twentieth anniversary.
It's a little more celebratory, a little bigger, and a
little better than it has ever been.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
You were quick with a buzzer right out the gay.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
Jordan Blue a singer too.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
We've also got Melby back as judge for the first
time in seven season. Nice having her back. Do you
just kind of pick up where you' all left off?

Speaker 2 (01:42):
Great, It's like the annoying little sister sitting next to me.
She likes to annoy, she likes to she knows how
to get me, and she's like she's like, she's this
mischievous little she's like a five year old, but she's
I think it gets exciting. I love her, and you know,

(02:02):
I've kept in touch with her even when she you know,
in the time that she was gone. It's great to
have her back and we are like one big, happy
family all together. And Jordan Blue Blue the roof off
the place. I think that kid's a star. You know,
he's also really funny. If you go follow him on TikTok,
he does prank calls. Oh those are old school. Yeah,

(02:26):
so he does so it's really funny. And he sings.
He sings on the streets of New Orleans and nice
like a group that he sings with. Guy, it's just
amazing what he can do. He's like this young kid
with an old soul. Oh. I like that.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
You mentioned prank calls, and I'm thinking that not his own.
That's not only old school, but I'm surprised that actually
can be executed now because no one answers the phone anymore.
They all just text unless you're calling some sort of
business place of business. But personal prank calls, like people
just kind of people claim me and then we'll say
what's up on text? I'm like, that's so rude.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
Well there's also caller a D.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
And then there's also calor a D.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
Yeah, but he also got I don't know what you
could block your ID, but he called Walmart complaining that
he had bought a five pack of underpants and one
of them had a skid market. But what's really funny
about that? I mean, I don't know that that sounds
so funny. The woman reacts to that, and just listening

(03:25):
to the woman, he's just sitting there quietly listening to
the woman react and it is hysterical.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
That's funny and I love this. He also got a
podcast with your daughter. Howie Mendel does stuff a lot
of fun. We've talked about this before. What kind of
guests have you all had recently?

Speaker 2 (03:43):
You know, we have a lot of guests, everybody from
Bill Burr friends, old friends. He's an old friend now
because he doesn't want to be my friend anymore because
I put him together with Billy. I love that episode.
So what's coming on this week? Ronnie Radkey? Oh wow,
you know who that is? Isn't that wait?

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Not the singer?

Speaker 2 (04:00):
Is he a singer? Yeah? Okay, and he was just
well he didn't do it, but that Tommy Lee's X
was catfished right claiming to be him. Yes, yeah, he's
a really good, talented heavy metal rapper country just did

(04:23):
a duet with Jelly Rolls. So he's coming on on Tuesday. Nice.
Everybody from psychics to uh Terry Crews is on this
week right now if you if you download it right now,
and nice everybody from friends, comedians, just people that my
daughter and I would like to talk to.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
Very cool. You on Mario, Thank you I hope that
wasn't a courtesy uh sympathy invite, but I'll take you
up regardless.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
This was cool.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
I don't know if it's true now, but there were
rumors out that Grimlins three might happen. If it does,
would you be back as the voice of Gizmo.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
I'd love to dude. That's good. That's so good. We
do it, do it again? Do again? I was talking, dude.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
Again, please, that is like the greatest thing.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
That is great. That's pretty up that and I also
watch Bobby's World growing up, So if you want to
throw that in the same voice, starbal dude, it's amazing.
How does that hurt? It feels like it hurts. Oh,
you know what the truth of the matter is. I
talk about it on stage. You know. The way I
do it is I I originally got it from choking.

(05:35):
I don't do it. Don't try this at home. But
it's kind of like when you take a balloon and
you take that you blo up the balloon and you
take the nipple of the balloon and you stretch it. Yeah.
I'm not doing a falsetto. I'm not going I'm not
talking like in a high voice. So if I lose
my voice totally and just squeeze the muscles in my
throat and push air through, that's what it is. And

(05:55):
then if you loosen it, it sounds like helium, which
was animal in them up at babies. Yeah, that's right.
And then it was also I was also bunce of honeydew.

Speaker 1 (06:12):
That's awesome, Damn Ali, that's cool, man.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
And is this true?

Speaker 1 (06:17):
I read one set when you proposed to your wife,
you just threw a loose diamond on the table.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
Yeah, I bought Uh, I got the deal on a stone.
I'm not a romantic. I really I have a problem
being romance. It makes me giggle because it's I guess,
because it's not authentically me. So, but I wanted to
marry her. She's the love of my life. I'm still
married to her with forty five years years. It doesn't

(06:42):
sound good. But I just put the stone and I go,
I bought this. If you want to make a ring,
let me know. I got to go to the men's room,
and I went to the men's room, and I came
back and she said she was gonna make a ring.
And here we are, forty five years later, and she
stayed with me. I'm a lucky guy.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
Very very that's awesome.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
Man. Hey, I thought I knew everything.

Speaker 1 (06:59):
I learned some stuff today.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
That's very cool.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
