and The Tonight Show, My man, Jimmy Fell and welcome
to the show. How are you? Yes, that's what I'm talking.

I love games. When I saw you in New York
last we had a brief little um uh sort of
trial to play, and I was excited. I was like, Okay,

of version, I'm down to play. And it's already become
a summer success for for the younger, younger people out
there who may not remember the original. Uh, please remind
everyone how it works. It should always the fact that

it wasn't on It's not on the airs hilarious. It
was like twenty years so Alan Luddon hosted. Betty White
was a guest. Basically, it's a simple, simple game. You
give a one word clue to get some one word password.
A one word answer, and that's all it is. And
you play the game, and we have a couple of
celebrity guests to come on and we try to win contestants.
So it's very fast, very easy to play. The rules

are simple. It's after America's got talent. I can try
it with you if you've gotten to see if you've

category like any sort of it's just random whatever, random words.

I get fired up. There's no better feeling than when
you're helping someone win cash. That's the best. It feels
so good. It feels so good, and I get stressed out,
I get amped up, and I'm like, I want to
do well for these people. And it's honestly, it's the
most fun. And it's uh, you know, I think we're

good partners with a g T. Because families are watching
and they're playing it at home. What they're doing is
once the pastor because on they pause it and then
they played the game in their living room. It's the best.
That's the best. So tonight show features Martin short um
which celebrity has surprised you with their Marty shorts. Really
funny So Chelsea Handler was really great, came on the

show and she goes in the middle of the game,
she was Jimmy, I hate games really all right, well,
I mean you're playing the games. I hate games. And
then after she got her first pastors, she looked at
the gambages, I love games. She completely changed the thing. Yeah,
from the game, I'm telling you why it's games. So
just throwing it out there for a season two. Just

love it. Meanwhile, over on the Tonight Show, you got
Demi Levado co hosting Tonight. Um what you all got
in store for us? Dude. We've been having the craziest summer.
It's been wild. We had Madonna on last week, we
had Megan the Stallion, uh, and now Demi Levada, Um,

Demi Levada for three days take over performing new song.
It's it's rocking this new album it's called Holy f
You can't say what it's really called Holy Shrines with
Luck and uh that's the name of her album. I'm
sorry and uh so uh shet uh. Demi is doing

it's almost like it's very heavy. It's like heavy metal
kind of it's rock. Wow. Okay, this is a departure
for Demi usually you know, Uh, they've got the pipes,
you get seeing anything in the world. Honestly, Demi doesn't
even need a microphone. Yeah, we just we just put
Debbie in the room and she just melts the sides

of the room. Uh so two songs from the new
album and then games and then games and then uh interview.
She's gonna interview someone with us, So we'll see how
that turns out. I don't know if it's gonna be
good bad right now. Uh, Debbie is very nervous. Uh.

They're like, well, I don't really like hosting things. I
don't know. You've got Chelsea doesn't like doing games, but
do it host at least honest, at least you're honest
with me. And you're like, yeah, I don't like that
before perhaps what exactly, Let's see what happens. I'm like,
I don't know, it could be a disaster. That's a

whole fun of doing, uh, like a live show. You know,
we'll see what happens. But sounds we've been friends for
a long time. I mean I've done that means it's
a late night days and I'm um, I'm trying to
think of something to to to get to them to
for this tour, because maybe it's like a guitar or something,

or I think something fun and rocking. But this is
like a real like this is the new Demi Lovado.
Get ready for it. I'm looking forward to checking that out. Man. Um,
let me ask you a question, Jemmy, we're seeing a
lot of legacy TV move into streaming and soap operas
and what have you even like Dancing with the Stars.
Do you think a late night show could work on streaming. No,

(06:31):
I don't think so. I don't know. I feel like
a late night show is very topical. Like that's what
I thought too. Yeah, I almost saying sports. You know,
it's like who watched the game exactly the next day?
You know. It's like I think it's gonna be very topic,
But I don't. Maybe I'm wrong. I could be proven wrong,
but I wouldn't watch really a show unless it's maybe

(06:52):
the next day, you know. But but I think after
that it gets old. You want to be like I
always I always hated when I'm on occasion and some
big news story hits and I'm not the first person
to have the joke. Yeah, and I'm like, oh gosh,
I wish it was on because right now I could
totally I know what the joke could be, you know. So,
I think I think there's something topical about talk show,

(07:15):
sports and interview show. I think you have to be
on the moment, have you finger on the pulse or
else there's no those shows. I think we will be
the last shows on network television. I agree that Today's show,
tonight show, hopefully I do. I think those are they
don't live anywhere else, And I think yeah, and I
think it's just a reason to watch TV. And yeah, um,

(07:36):
real quick with the Emmy's so many great shows out there.
Which ones have you kept up? Within? Are rooting for?
This Emmy is gonna be great. There's so many good shows.
Only Murders in the building. Almost caught up with that
one and if you saw this season, but it's great.
I'm a little homework with all these shows. I'm barely
catching up on Better Call. Saw the last few episodes there,

(07:57):
which is great. By the way, did you see the
last one? I haven't? Me neither, I haven't. I have
about three episodes away from it, but it's really good.
He's conflicted because he has to buy them. Well, no,
I was upset at a MC because they're shady about that.
The first six episodes, I did purchase them, by the way,
I went on a rand on the radio show you
Gotta Buy Them, And then the other six they're offering

shady at the same time. You're ready watched this from
freem Oh you want to see the last one? You
got a pony up exactly pay per view, so smart,
you know what I'm I watched last night because I
just heard how great it was, and really as great
as the Tony Hawk documentary Love Me Some Tony Hawk
is a good I love documentaries in general. I don't
know anything about him. I just know he's the greatest

of all time. But I don't know any of his
story at all. Fascinating, really really interesting and not easy.
Had a tough, tough, tough life, and you go, oh interesting,
you just think he's got it. You know he had
a made But it wasn't that way at all. It
was like, it's inspirational. It's great that I love documentaries.

by the way, they're so cute. I can show you
a picture of them, but this is just them on
my phone. They're doing hold now. They are twenty nine
and thirty six. Great sound sufficient? No, no, no, they're
nine years old, seven seven and nine. That's great, man.
And they're just cute and they're awesome and I love.

They're gready to go back to school. It's happening, my no,
mine are going back on Monday. When we were growing up,
we win. I remember it was like we at least
got two weeks of football. I remember to right, it
was like middle of September. Now they're going back like
sooner and sooner. Right, It's almost like they're not gonna
have any time away from not being in school. It's
like there's like, all right, I guess I'm gonna miss him.
I just you know, the pandemic was so weird because

(09:45):
we really just got used to living with him and like, oh,
let's just do this forever. It's like, no, they have
to go to school and do something. I learned something
like Yeah. Now I'm like, oh, I missed them, and
so I it's gonna be it's gonna be interesting and like,
but you know, when we dropped Winnie off at kindergarten. Uh,
you know, I go all right, she's gonna price out crying,
don't make a big deal about it and make you know,

(10:07):
I go, all right, Winnie, take care. And then I,
of course immediately I started it here like you know,
I'm always here for you, daddy, And she just took
off and just ran away and started playing with She's
like careless completely. I'm like, oh my god, it's funny.
Well yeah, it's it's it's why but it's happening. Man.
Here we are, and we have a couple more weeks

And you know, your girls are lucky. They got a
super cool dad, so I always say, I always say,
