mat during comic little roll. How are you?

Speaker 3 (00:07):
How you doing? Man?

Speaker 1 (00:08):
What up? Mario?

Speaker 2 (00:09):
I'm hanging in there, brother, I'm hanging in there. Congrats.
You're in a new Christmas movie called Unexpected Christmas, a comedy.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
What's the premise.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
Yeah, it's a it's a it's a dramaty we should
call it.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
Really Uh, it's really funny.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
Uh. It's a great family feel comedy where you you
could watch with your whole family. It's a unique twist
to it, you know what I mean? Right, because most
of the time when people hear about Christmas movies and
we feel like we've seen all all the plots, this
one is very unique and it's gonna be a conversation piece.
But it has been even in my own family. Oh,
you know, it's it's kind of a it's gonna split

the house up a little bit, Okay, but it's all
good because you know, for me, I especially the character
I play, I don't think he's wrong for what everybody
else sayd he wrong for? But hey, you got to
see the movie to understand what I'm talking about. So
it's a unique twist, but it's really funny. It's a
lot of hard in it, and it's such a great cast.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
That's awesome to hear.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
Man.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
Is this your first Holting film?

Speaker 3 (01:07):
No, I did a movie called Dashing through the Snow
a couple of years ago while I played Santa Claus
for Disney Plus. So that was that was that was big,
you know, And so this is my second one, but
this is one of the first one I've done with.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
A family setting, so nice. I got like three more.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
In my head type of Christmas movies I can do.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
Okay, okay, And you also got a scary one coming
out that you directed and started right called Haunted Heist.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
What's that about that? Heist?

Speaker 3 (01:34):
Man is a great It's a silly, creepy movie. It's
my directory of your debut. And I also starting it
with my friend Tiffy Hattish, my boy King Batch, and
my homeboy Carlos Miller and a gang of comedians. It
just felt good to like really finally just like put
my voice on display or my eye on display too.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
And I had so much fun making this movie.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
But it's about a group of friends who who basically
was looking to help out a frame, but it's a
whole another movie with another.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Crazy twist to it.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
You like that man where they think they're just hanging
out and it turned out to be a whole other situation.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
And uh, some ghoststar involved.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
It gets kind of creepy, funny and weird, but it's
hysterical and I'm so proud of what we did with
the movie.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
And You've got yet another one coming out next here
with Ryan Reynolds and Jason Momoa called Animal Friends. That's
a road trip comedy, right, what's your rolling that one?

Speaker 1 (02:27):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (02:27):
Yeah, but I played this crazy bird like this is
this one from the girl Folk for real?

Speaker 1 (02:33):
For real?

Speaker 3 (02:33):
So like this, ain't you know even though it's live
action like kind of animation, I can't. It's not necessarily
an you know, the animation that's like not animation kinda.
So it's but it's when I tell you, look, I
guess I'm bragging about everything being funny. This movie is
one of them, good raunchy. It's so insane but so hysterical.

(02:56):
Me and I laughed so much doing this. I laughed
so much doing it. It is absurdly funny. So I
can't wait for people to see this. This is I think,
you know, Ryan sometimes probably put on his bucket list,
give me the dirtiest comedy I could do, and you'd
be surprised that this is the one you thought dead
Pool was crazy.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
It's nothing like Animal Friends is hysterically insane. Okay, man,
you got me right there.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
That's h And last question. You just released the new
stand up special over on two week called rail Talk,
which everyone can watch for free of course. What kind
of topics you you hitting up?

Speaker 3 (03:31):
I mean, this is to me, this is my best special.
I also co directed it too and produced it alone
my partners. So I did this on my own and
shot it at my comedy festival, which was even crazier.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
Man, this is like what makes this special unique.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
It's hysterical, but it's like it's catching me, like in
the happiest I've ever been. And so this is the
happiest I've ever been in my life, assuming of comedies issue,
and so a lot of this stuff is really reminiscence
on you know, stuff with my mom and my family
and you know where I'm in life now.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
I mean even my look, I just will vest on there.

Speaker 3 (04:09):
You know you know, I've been on my journey, so
just to have a little chest out in my arms,
you know, I wanted to show off a little bit.
So this is this is my coming out party. This
is this is I call it my Sexy Special.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
