to Redemption, Mama June Shannon, Welcome back, honey. How you been.
I've been good. Um, been a little bit busy here lately. Um,
you know, just life is just life, COVID virus living,

covid virus, um, releasing some of my new marches. You
can see, UM so so so over this ship. Yeah
and so like we got the mask going on and
said of the same thing, so you know, um, and
then just filming the show. Um being fourteen you know,
getting clean off of jougs. Were fourteen months clean now

and it's trying to film the show and work things
out with the girls and just life. You know where
you look fantastic. You know. I always love to see you.
We go way back now we can say. And you know,
I was talking to my hair and makeup artists because
I gotta I got something in the worst. But you're
going to be in it, that's the thing. Am I
gonna be alright? Yeah, I can't tell you. I can't

tell you my love interest. I can't tell I can't
give one. You can't all right, let me know then, okay, Um,
but anyway, now we're talking in my makeup artist the
picture that you I took with you in Courtney nine
years ago at ALC. Shoot, it's just weird, Like I
was like, wow, it's been October, will be ten years

that we've started this amazing adventure. And I know about
nine and a half years ago, may you in Courtney
at a CHILC. Shoot. Well, y'all got married on TLC.
That's right. I can't forge that's almost ten years. Man,
that really went by like that. Unbelievable. Yeah, right, you
guys are gonna have to get together to celebrate, right,
we're gonna have the party. Well, she's got me in
mind for like a roll or something. Um, that's great

to hear. I'm looking forward to hearing that. And and
I'm also happy to hear you're doing well in your sobriety.
Congratulations on that soon to be fourteen months. Is it
getting easier? Is it a bit of a challenge? Because
I heard you say, correct me if I'm wrong, you
spend something like six hundred thousand on coke in six months.
Damn girl, you like to party. It's crazy like our

habit literally was anywhere from three thousand dollars a day. Yeah,
blowing it up. Wait, when you say hour, it was
you and who do I now? I said, when you
said hour, it was you and who Me and Gina
my boyfriend. Um but you know, you know, trust me.

I love the fact that I didn't think I needed
to rehab to begin with, to be honest with you, Um,
but I went, We're doing for twenty five days. We're
in South Florida. I'm probably about an hour and a
half for a lot of up two hours from Miami.
Um and I'm still there. Um, but I'm glad I
did it. I'm able to help other people now, you know,

my Instagram and my social media and help fans. I
help fans from all the way from the United States,
all the way to Scotland, UK. So giving back is amazing.
I never did they that, you know, I needed help
at the beginning. I thought I had it under control,
like I think a lot of people do. Um. And
in this industry, you know, getting high, you know, outside
(03:20):
of weed is kind of um uh, not overlooked until
you get until you get busted, you know. And I
think that's the kind of a crazy thing that but
it is what it is, UM open about It is
that essentially what the new shows about Mama June road
to Redemption what exactly tell me, tell me exactly what
it entails. Um. The road to redemption is, you know,

life after rehab, to show people that you know, we
are in a pandemic. Um. You know, I had a
few ty people that went to rehab the same month
I did. There's only four of us that are stay
clean without any relaxes. That includes myself, my boyfriend, and
to other people that we know. So it's gonna show
you know, my life doing recovery in a COVID virus

when so many people relapse. UM, you know, showing that
service board me trying to mend my relationships with family
and my kids and you know, moving on with life
and trying to still fight this crazy ass court case
that we've had, the drug charges that we got in
Alabama two years now, trying to find that and showing

the struggles of several different lawyers and people taking advantage
of us lawyer wise. Um, and now we've got a
good one. UM, just you know, just life, you know. UM,
you know we've always kept it real and you know,
I think that's what people have been relatable. That's probably
been on TV for almost ten years now. Yeah, no,
that's amazing. Yeah, what what a run? There was no uh,

there was no fifteen minutes for you. You You've stretched
it out forever, made a career out of it there
and you're still with your boyfriend Gino. Yes, we've been
again over five years. Um, he's also clean for fourteen months.
And you know, we, like I said, we give back
to rehabs and we give that We speak a lot,
and unfortunately in as COVID virus, you know, being that

sober support for so many fans out there that don't
hasn't told anybody they have their struggling with addiction. And
we've helped so many people get into rehabs. And you know,
so I've used that platform. So now my new addiction,
because I've got an addictive personality, is work and rehab
work and also working with rehab people. Yeah. No, I'm
(05:29):
with you too. I've got a very bigger personality and exactly,
you gotta channel that energy in the right way. Um,
how about the kids, How's how's your relationship with all
your kids right now? Um, he's the day by day thing,
you know, trying to mend it. You know, you're gonna
have to watch this season because like we still are
in productions. So we're still writing um our real life story.
Um So we're still in active production because you know,

COVID virus is real and it shuts down a lot
of productions. UM So we just actually just vamped back
up a cold months ago. So when you see um
this show UM on on Friday, you're only a few
months back on our live Oh wow. And and how
old does a Lana now? She gotta be in high
(06:11):
school right fifteen and in the chanth grade. Like it's
been crazy, she was five. Like I swear to a
lot this picture that pulled up the other day, Like
while I'm doing this new project that I'm doing that
we released in like May, I pulled up that picture
of you and Courtney and me and a Lana, and
I was like, wow, that she was so tiny. We

need that as a throwback pick. I need that as
a throwback pick. You have to send me that right there.
Courtney is gonna appreciate definitely. I'll definitely either give it
to Maristol or I'll I don't know, who like checks
your Instagram. But I can send it that way too, Yeah,
send it to me. I'd love to I'm serious, that'd
be a good three All check his instagram. Okay, Well,
I don't know, you know what I'm saying. I'm my
own and I'm all email Verson, I'm all I like it.

You handle your business. You can do pen on yourself
right there. And And how how's Pumpkin doing? She's looking
like she's been making some healthy changes right, Um, she's um.
You know what I've seen on the social media thing.
I mean, she's been good a lot, is you know,
because of my addiction. I wasn't, you know, in the
right state to deal with her, but she is still
living with Pumpkin. Um. You know, I've got to get

I've got to make sure that I'm good for me
because my you know that maybe something me selfish, but
addiction is selfish but also recovery. So I've got to
make sure myself is good before I can be good
for anybody else. Good for you, That's that's the way
to go. Well, it sounds like you're you're you're doing
great and and and things are going great. So I'm
