I got readers, right.
Speaker 4 (00:34):
So that was my That was my biggest question was
how many pair do you have and where exactly are they?
Speaker 5 (00:39):
And then how often does your wife move them?
Speaker 3 (00:42):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (00:42):
Well, I have them and my wife doesn't move them
because I also have them in her purse or I
should say purses.
Speaker 3 (00:49):
Because when we go to.
Speaker 2 (00:50):
Dinner, the worst is the menu. It's dark already, and
I'm like, honey, and then you'll get to that point.
We'll get to that point.

Speaker 4 (01:18):
I play an Army Special Forces, a guy who's got
a team comprised of Luke Hemsworth and Liam sorry, Luke
Hemsworth and Ricky Whittle and attached to my team, I
have a Air Force Joint Terminal Attack Controller JTACH played
by Liam Hemsworth who is talking to our eyes in
(01:38):
the sky drone pilot played by Russell Crowe.
Speaker 1 (01:41):
So we have the cool gus, great casts.
Speaker 4 (01:44):
You got the five of us all working together for
a reconnaissance hostage recovery somewhere somewhere bad in the world.
And yeah we're just, you know, just kicking some ass
and high action movie.
Speaker 3 (01:58):
That's my kind of flick.
Speaker 2 (01:59):
Where'd you film it?
Speaker 4 (02:00):
Shut it in Australia, of all places, A man was wonderful.
I mean, you know the hems Weorth boys there from Australia.
Russ crows from Australia, right, So you know the film,
it only kind of made sense to go down there,
you know, and get a couple of Australians to play
a couple of Americans and.
Speaker 5 (02:16):
There we go make a movie.
Speaker 3 (02:17):
Oh the irony. How how's your shooting? What did you
get to shoot?
Speaker 5 (02:22):
Pretty good? This one?
Speaker 4 (02:23):
I think I was just had an ark h K
and then a side Army side Army was carrying was
was a block nineteen.
Speaker 1 (02:32):
But my capabilities are pretty good.
Speaker 5 (02:35):
There you go.
Speaker 4 (02:36):
I spent a bunch of time with a lot of
guys and gals in uniform, and I have a lot
of friends Army Special Forces and blown down blood up
doors with them and jumped out of planes with them
and done a lot of like heavy weaponry and and
stuff like that.
Speaker 1 (02:49):
So you know, but also for the movie, you know,
it's it's fake, so I don't have to like the yeah,
yeah pull the trigger.
Speaker 3 (02:56):
Yeah, but you look like you know what your father served, right?
Speaker 5 (03:00):
Yeah? My dad's a Vietnam VET. He was in Vietnam.
Speaker 4 (03:02):
Yeah, the two tours over there, came home, got out
of the service, met my mom and just started a family.
Speaker 1 (03:08):
That was his road.
Speaker 3 (03:10):
Yeah, good for him. Good for him?
Speaker 1 (03:12):
Is this true?
Speaker 2 (03:13):
Also in the works a biopic about the author of
Lord of the Rings.
Speaker 5 (03:18):
Oh wow, dude, that seemed deep diving.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
Yeah, so we do so a while, it's not it's not.
Speaker 4 (03:24):
Active development, but a while my partner Russ and I
we were developing something about J. R. R.
Speaker 1 (03:30):
Tolkien. Yeah, and you know, his time in the in
the in the service, in.
Speaker 5 (03:33):
The war, and what he was doing and up.
Speaker 4 (03:36):
Against that were it was inspiring his uh storytelling from
Lord of the Rings.
Speaker 5 (03:40):
Yeah, wow, I haven't heard that one in a while.
Speaker 3 (03:42):
Oh wow, that's uh.
Speaker 2 (03:43):
And he was like a very spiritual man, right, like
a devout Christian And yeah, that's been fascinating.
Speaker 3 (03:49):
Huh.
Speaker 5 (03:50):
Okay, wor World War One?
Speaker 3 (03:52):
So wow, Michel.
Speaker 2 (03:54):
We're coming up on the thirtieth anniversary of your first
IMDb credit, an episode of Fresh Prince of Bell.
Speaker 5 (04:00):
There was thirty years ago.
Speaker 1 (04:01):
Holy dude, you wait, hold on, but here's the question.
Speaker 5 (04:06):
Were you filming right next door?
Speaker 1 (04:08):
Yes? I was.
Speaker 4 (04:09):
You knew that.
Speaker 3 (04:10):
Wow, I got a good memory. You got a good one,
because dude.
Speaker 5 (04:13):
Because I remember, man, when I was a kid.
Speaker 4 (04:15):
It's like, yes, like of course, you know, I was
stoked to be on Fresh Prince, but I was also
the same building where they film say but the bell.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
I was stoked. I was super stoked.
Speaker 3 (04:24):
Dude. That's amazing. That's I'm gonna bring this up later
on Access for sure.
Speaker 5 (04:29):
That is funny.
Speaker 2 (04:30):
That's funny, you know. And I've said this to you before.
I've always loved you as Rocky Balboa Junior. My one
of my favorite speeches of all time. Did you get
this man any time? With Bert Young back in the day.
Speaker 5 (04:41):
I did Man quite a bit.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
I was really sad to hear about his passing. You know.
Speaker 4 (04:44):
I think that kind of like quietly went a little
unnoticed in in my world.
Speaker 5 (04:49):
But you know what I saw was this, you.
Speaker 4 (04:52):
Know, guy who had come from some some tough surroundings,
but yeah, he had this this big, beautiful heart of
an artists, and you know, we just we'd enjoy ourselves.
We'd laugh about a lot of different things. Like I
think I was twenty seven, I was doing that and
I was talking. I remember being on set talking to
one of the PA's you know, I can't remember her name,
(05:14):
but she was just there on set all the time,
and she was a very very attractive woman. And then
I finished my conversation and I would turn around, bir it's.
Speaker 1 (05:22):
Like talking to my girlfriends.
Speaker 4 (05:27):
That's my that's my crew member talking about you know,
what's for lunch. She's something like that.
Speaker 5 (05:32):
He's like, I don't be talking to my.
Speaker 1 (05:34):
You know, he was just gotta busting my chops on set.
Speaker 5 (05:37):
But I mean, what a warm, warm human being.
Speaker 1 (05:40):
I love that. Great.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
Yeah, that is that is awesome And congratulations on the
recent nuptials.
Speaker 3 (05:46):
When did you tell that?
Speaker 2 (05:48):
Man, it's hard to do that these days, being in
the position you're in without anybody, uh, sort of finding
out about it.
Speaker 3 (05:54):
That how that was like a covert operation? How'd you
pull that on?
Speaker 5 (05:57):
It? Pretty much was, man. I mean, you know, we
we kept it quiet.
Speaker 1 (06:02):
Those that were there was you know, a really small.
Speaker 5 (06:05):
Group of of family and.
Speaker 4 (06:07):
Close close friends, and we just we just did it quietly,
and luckily nobody bothered us on the day and we
were able to kind of hang on to it for
ourselves for about six or seven weeks before we we
you know, had to put something out there saying hey,
this happened, and then you know, you get followed around
by the pop Rocks for like a week and then
they kind of leave you alone, because what are you
(06:29):
doing but going to dinner with your wife, right, you know,
going on a walk with.
Speaker 5 (06:32):
Your wife and your dog. And it's like, okay, these
guys are really not exciting, but yeah, no, we were.
We were able to.
Speaker 4 (06:38):
Have a really special day and a really really nice
time and it was wonderful and beautiful and you know,
just as a as a man happy to have arrived
at that point where you know, I met my match
and have.
Speaker 5 (06:50):
A really wonderful partner in my wife. Chair.
Speaker 2 (06:52):
That's awesome.
Speaker 1 (06:53):
That's and how old do you get, my little forty
seven this year?
Speaker 2 (06:58):
See perfect time into I got two, got married, a
little bit older, and I think you're once you're a
little older, more mature, you got your act together. It's
it's it's so much better. It's so much better.
Speaker 3 (07:08):
