Speaker 1 (00:00):
We are fun with Morio little bit. Hi's everyone, Mario Lopez,
Jordy Moria now actress in comic Rebel Wilson.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
How you doing Rebel him Ario? I'm really good. How
are you?

Speaker 1 (00:11):
I'm well. It's always great to see you.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
Congrats.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
You got a new movie out this Friday called Bride Hard.
People are saying it's Bride'smaid meets die Hard, which is
an awesome log line. And you're like a full on
action star on this one.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
Uh, this one. I mean, it's just a fun movie.
If you won't go to the cinema and I have
popcorn and just like have a fun time. This is it.
It's not pretending to be anything else. And yeah, I
really like doing the action stuff. The director Simon West.
He's done really cool action movies like conn Air and
tomb Raider. Yeah. Wow, So I really liked like getting

(00:46):
to kick and punch and do all the action.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
It's fine. Nice.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
Yeah, it's really fun and it's cool.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
You team back up with your pitch perfect costar Anna
in this movie as well. That wouldn't been fun being
back on set together.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
I know Anna Camp who I've known now for fourteen years.
Like all the Bellas. You know, we've just been friends
for such a long time, and I just like, I
love partnering with her. She plays the bride in the
movie and I played her maid of honor, and so
that wasn't difficult to play best friends because we've been
friends for so so long now, god, it's so long

(01:20):
since the original Pitch Perfect movie. But yeah, it was
great to reunite with her.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
Yeah, that's always something you get to work with your
friends again. Now, I know you play a spy in
this movie, and I don't know if it's true, but
tell me, did you almost join Australian's version of the
CIA in real life?

Speaker 2 (01:34):
Yeah? That's I love. How bad story is now coming up,
They're probably gonna be like, what the hell why is
she talking about this now? But basically, I did do
very very well at school academically, and I got recruited.
I got off at a scholarship and I was gonna
have to sign a seven year contract if I accepted

(01:55):
the scholarship. So I decided not to go down that route.
But at the time, like I mean, wouldn't want to
be a spy, Like I think it's awesome, so fun
and so interesting and you're helping your country, and you know,
I would still be open to it. Sometimes hate their
conspiracy theories that some actors are actually spies.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
So well, being a spy is all about being an actor,
so it makes sense essentially.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
Right undercover. I mean, I think you will know what
I could go undercover now that people do recognize.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
It hard when you're famous, that is true. And you
also got a Christmas movie on the way with Keifer
Sutherland called Tinsel Talent. What can you tell me about
that one? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (02:35):
So that one I just shot earlier in the year
and it's set in England and it's my first Christmas
movie I ever did. So was scene where you're coming
out with snow and it's all christmasy. I oh, it
was so cute because being from Australia, we have hot Christmas.
That's right, That's right, one of the Christmas is so
it's like it was. It was really nice to do,

(02:57):
like a classic classic British Christmas movie. Yeah, it was cool.
So you said that'll be out for Christmas. Oh nice?

Speaker 1 (03:04):
Nice this year. Looking forward to checking that out. And
I know you recently said that Pitch Perfect four scripts
are in development. Would you be back of that installment
ends up happening.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
Oh, definitely, definitely. I mean, all of us girls, we
love the movie so much and we love working together.
It's kind of like not really a job. It's just
fun for us. And I'm so proud of all everyone's
everyone's gone on to have these amazing careers and half
of us is directing movies now and it's it's just

(03:34):
really awesome to see. But we all really want to
come back. So hopefully next year it will go into production.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
Yeah, I like those movies. I hope they hope that
comes to fruition. Well, congratulations on everything. Always nice to
see you and everyone. Please be sure to check out
Rebel in her new movie Brideheart, which is out this Friday.
Thanks for stopping by.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
Thanks Mario, thank you, take care of for you all.
See soon.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
