My weekend was amazing. My husband and I enjoyed the

this event on Saturday. It was like a diary. Actually
this is merchant that I'm wearing from the event. It
was like the intimate reflection on the life of Lauren

(00:45):
Hill okay, and we covered everything.

Speaker 6 (00:49):
It was in Brooklyn, New York, and it was at
one of.

Speaker 5 (00:51):
These nice studios, and it was like segments we have
like we had trivia on her. And when I say
a deep reflection, I mean like they went it went
through hurt and securities and how things was affecting her
behind the music, from one relationship to the other and
then when she had her son, and then how you
know her with the Fuji's her time solo. And it
was just amazing and it was an intimate event. It

(01:12):
was like like twenty five to thirty people. Oh, my
daughter's godmother. A godfather Menelik. He's a Ethiopian. He's cool
as hell.

Speaker 7 (01:20):

Speaker 5 (03:32):
Yo, you're purposely telling us the time. Absolutely justify why
it's ridiculous.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
It doesn't make any sense, and it's true, damn all.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
And it's like thirty minute breaks, forty five minute breaks
in between, an hour breaks in between, so it's not
enough to get a nap.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
You just got to sit in it. It's just just
sitting it. It's so irritated you.

Speaker 5 (03:49):
I came in here with all the energy, you know,

Speaker 5 (03:54):
The glue really he come here, like, sit down, what
is wrong with you? I'm like, damn, dad, what's up?

Speaker 2 (03:58):
I didn't seen it on dancing all weekend. I haven't
seen it all this weekend. Had a good time. They
both won the first first place. I was.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
I was very happy, first in their division, first in
the region, so I was super duper happy. So I
think we got one more and then it's a rat. Okay,
the dann season is over. Good and then we get
nice envy back now that we got soccer season. But
we'll talk about that one later. All right, Well, let's
get the show cracking. We got front page news. Morgan's back,
kick it with her when we come back, and don't
go anywhere. It's the breakfast Club.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
Goo, morning morning, everybody.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
It's DJ n V, Jess Hilarius, Charlamagne the guy. We
are the breakfast Club. Let's get in some front page news.
Usually they have the sports in front of me, not
this morning. So I know that the Timberwles beat the
Lakers last night.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
One sixteen, one thirteen.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
Timberwlves lead the series three one the Magic.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
It's a rap for the Lakers.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
Just need y'all to know that, Okay, But y'all knew,
But y'all knew Lebron James and Luca Donk wasn't going.
You know, they can't win things by themselves. It's just
them too. Other than that, that's not a deep team
at all.

Speaker 3 (04:55):
Yeah, the Pistons lost to the Knicks last night, ninety
four ninety three. The Knicks, of course lead the Serveres
three one and Consultics lead the Saillaries three one. They
beat the Magic one oh seven ninety eight. All right,
what we got Morgan, welcome back.

Speaker 6 (05:08):
Thank you.

Speaker 8 (05:09):
Well, first, let me just say thanks to Bree and
me me for holding it down and let's get into it.

Speaker 6 (05:14):
Yeah, first up on the front page.

Speaker 8 (05:16):
Congress is back in session today, y'all on Capitol Hill
in Washington, d C.

Speaker 6 (05:20):
After a two week recess.

Speaker 8 (05:22):
So yesterday on Sunday, Congressman Hakeen Jeffries of New York
he is a Democratic Democrat, and Democrat Senator Cory Booker
of New Jersey, they spent some time on the steps
of the US Capitol doing a live stream. They called
it a sit down, protest and discussion on what House
Minority Leader Jeffries claims is the dangerous situation we confront
in America.

Speaker 4 (05:43):
Now.

Speaker 8 (05:43):
They spoke about the impact of the forthcoming GOP spending bill.
Let's take a listen to House Minority Leader Hakeen Jeffries' comments.

Speaker 9 (05:51):
This is a time to choose, and we either going
to choose the side of the American people or we're
gonna choose this cool budget that Republicans are trying to
jam down the throats of the American people that would
effectively take away healthcare potentially for tens of millions of Americans,
children and seniors and families and people with disabilities and

(06:14):
veterans and others, take away food from the mouths of children,
undermine the ability of people to survive who've worked hard
their entire lives, air in service of a massive tax
cut for their billionaire donors.

Speaker 8 (06:33):
So Senator Booker, he talked about the GOP spending bill
as well. In fact, in a post on x he said,
Congressional Republicans are preparing to gut Medicaid and essential services
to give the ultra wealthy a tax cut. He was
also on the steps yesterday of the US Capital. Let's
take a listen to his comments.

Speaker 10 (06:51):
We believe presents one of the greatest moral threats to
our country that we've seen in terms of what it
will do to providing food for the hungry, care for
the elderly, services for the disabled, healthcare, health care for
the sick, and more.

Speaker 8 (07:11):
Now, so happy related birthday to Corey Booker. He spent
his birthday doing that. So, speaking of marking occasions, President
Trump prepares to mark one hundred days back back in
office this week, which is set to come tomorrow on Tuesday,
April twenty ninth. Now, this all comes as recent national
polls indicate the president is not having the sweeping support
that he may think he has. NBC News Stay Tuned

(07:32):
poll found fifty five percent of Americans disapprove of how
Trump is handling the presidency, while forty five percent approve.
On immigration, one of his strongest issues during the twenty
twenty four election, the poll found that just over have
disapprove of his policies, while only forty nine percent approved. Meanwhile,
the economy proved to be his weakest issue. Only thirty
nine percent are satisfied with his economic agenda, while sixty

(07:54):
one percent are voicing their opposition. In Overall, sixty percent
of those surveyed believe they believe the US is on
the wrong track, while forty percent say it's on the
right one. And when it comes to tariffs, a national
poll shows that nearly two thirds of American disapprove of
President Trump's tariffs. A new ABC News Washington Post IPSIS
poll shows that seven to ten think the tariffs will

(08:14):
increase US inflation. Nearly half of Republican's pole think the
tariffs will have a negative impact on inflation. But there
are also some Republicans who believe that it could create
manufacturing jobs and bring those back to the US. So
that includes ninety percent of Republicans and sixty percent of independence.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
It's funny when people talk about those manufacturing jobs, because
I mean, number one, it takes quite a few years,
several years to even build a factory. But then when
you think about what the country is going to look
like in five to ten years, most of those manufacturing
jobs are going to be AI anyway.

Speaker 8 (08:47):
Absolutely, you're not wrong there, You're not wrong there at all.
But that pretty much wraps up the six A M.

Speaker 1 (08:54):
I want to say one other thing too, Morgan. When
you look at the low approval ratings that Trump, and
you look at the low approval ratings of Democrats. It
just lets you know, a lot of Americans are just
fed up with it all. Like period, right country, The
country needs something different, period overhaul completely.

Speaker 6 (09:08):
You know what, You're not wrong in saying that.

Speaker 8 (09:10):
You're not wrong in saying and I think I think
you're definitely on the right track when you're saying that. Yeah,
everybody seems to be fed up, you know, and.

Speaker 2 (09:17):
Just fed up with it all.

Speaker 6 (09:19):
Yeah, and it's.

Speaker 8 (09:20):
It's really it really starts with the pockets, you know,
That's where it really boils down to.

Speaker 2 (09:23):
You know.

Speaker 8 (09:24):
So yeah, you know, I'm gonna keep y'all posted on
what's going on. At seven am, we're gonna talk about
Shador though, you know, we gotta get into what happened
with Shador Sanders. He finally got selected by Cleveland. But
we'll get into the drama a little bit.

Speaker 3 (09:38):
All right, And everybody else, get it off your chest.
Eight hundred five eight five one oh five one. If
you need to vent, phone lines wide open again. Eight
hundred five eight five one oh five one is the
Breakfast Club.

Speaker 11 (09:48):
Good morning the Breakfast Club. This is your time to
get it off your chest. Five eight five five one.
We want to hear from you on the club.

Speaker 4 (10:02):
Hello, who's this in the Morning's James come from North Carolina?

Speaker 2 (10:06):
James and North Carolina would get it off your chest.

Speaker 1 (10:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (10:09):
Man, I was just thinking over the weekend about this
whole shinny Shop incident, and I was thinking about the
double standard in it. Not the part about the assault
or whatever, but I mean as far as him being
an age that he is and how young the lady is.
I just if you flip the roles, man, I guarantee,

(10:30):
it wouldn't be such a big deal. I mean, look
at that movie, how still it got a back one
of it. We're celebrating that mess. Man, This Onean was
forty years old, ain't a twenty year old guy? And
then and then on top of that, you got like
Share was dating some dude that was like forty years
her junior. I ain't hear too much about that, you

(10:52):
know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (10:52):
When you have to do all those mental gymnastics and hypotheticals,
you know, to prove why somebody should be doing what
they're doing, they probably shouldn't doing it.

Speaker 3 (11:00):
Like I said, it's not against the law, but I
think it's totally wrong. I don't think it's ethically right,
morally right. I mean you could have said juice, you know,
with Q he was dating his teacher.

Speaker 2 (11:08):
But that's a movie. Movies though, but those are movies.
But it's even with Belichick.

Speaker 3 (11:15):
Bulichick is seventy something years old and he met that
girl at twenty one.

Speaker 2 (11:18):
I don't think it's right, you know what I mean.
But he's not right?

Speaker 4 (11:21):
Okay? What about what about that old old story about
that teacher that was messing with her student and ended
up getting pregnant by him and all that. Y'all remember
that story. That woman got multiple chances to get right,
I think before they send her to jail.

Speaker 1 (11:37):
This is I'm not even having this conversation. It's so
much nuance with this conversation. I think that y'all are
not factoring in so many different things that are part
of this situation and washing.

Speaker 4 (11:47):
Wow. No, I mean, don't get me wrong, show name.
I don't get me wrong, man. I agree with you
and envy wing with the whole anything. I got a
daughter that's twenty years old. Man, I couldn't date a
person that much younger than me. But I'm just saying,
you know what I'm saying. It's the double standard.

Speaker 2 (12:03):
There It's not even just the age thing though.

Speaker 1 (12:06):
It's the audio phone calling him saying he was gonna
choke the girl out. Whether or not that was role
playing or not, I don't know, you know, it's the
text messages. Like, it's a lot of things that factor
into this situation, not just it's not just as simple
as he's fifty six, she was nineteen.

Speaker 6 (12:18):
But I totally get what you're saying to you, sir.

Speaker 5 (12:20):
Like on the other side, because even when the gays
do it, I'd be like, what, Like, because when the
old studs be dating the young girls, I'd be like, uh,
what you want to hear? You know, because my sister
is twenty one, and what if a sixty year old
stud came up to her?

Speaker 6 (12:31):
I would kill her, you.

Speaker 2 (12:32):
Know what I mean? And you're talking about a fifty
six year old man who.

Speaker 1 (12:36):
Had so much to lose, Like, just because you can
do something doesn't mean you should, because you have to
know who you are, right, You got to know what
you got you standing to lose in this situation.

Speaker 2 (12:47):
He just put himself in a bad situation to be
fifty four, fifty six years old. Get it off your chest.

Speaker 3 (12:52):
Eight hundred five eight five one oh five one. If
you need to vent hit us up now. It's the
Breakfast Club.

Speaker 5 (12:58):
The Breakfast Club, right right, Ray Joe, Charlotte, Man, Jasey,
what up.

Speaker 6 (13:06):
Are we lying?

Speaker 2 (13:07):
This is your time to get it off your chest.

Speaker 12 (13:08):
I got an indoor pool.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
We want to hear from you on the Breakfast Club.

Speaker 4 (13:13):
Get on the phone right now. He'll tell you what
it is.

Speaker 2 (13:15):
We lie. Hello, who's this?

Speaker 4 (13:18):
Ah Man binary A some blessings guy? You guys doing
it for it? Hey? Good morning?

Speaker 13 (13:27):
Just hilario authors charloonade a guy.

Speaker 4 (13:33):
P It sounds like you didn't even want to say
nothing while ago.

Speaker 2 (13:37):
Brother, you need to stop being someone secure.

Speaker 4 (13:40):
I'm not a secure.

Speaker 2 (13:41):
Brother, all I believe.

Speaker 4 (13:44):
But un last week he brought up my name.

Speaker 14 (13:49):
Yep.

Speaker 4 (13:50):
I was just I was just driving in my truck
doing my tanitation job, and every my name is being
brought up.

Speaker 3 (13:55):
With tra Yeah, Travis's studio caught on fire and he
was asking for people to donate, and I was like,
it would be a big deal if if sewn Stone said,
you know what, I'm gonna put my differences to side
and and donate to his his engineer.

Speaker 4 (14:07):
But you know, I talked crazy to just I don't
have a problem with you. I did donate that you don't.

Speaker 2 (14:13):
That didn't dude.

Speaker 4 (14:17):
Yeah, And so if drive don't believe you could go
to the guy pitch you know what I mean, and
uh the goal for me and you would see sewn
Stone name right there that I donated ten dollars.

Speaker 13 (14:29):
You know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (14:30):
That's that's dope.

Speaker 3 (14:30):
I think I think you'll should use this to put
your issues aside and just continue on envy.

Speaker 4 (14:37):
I don't have a problem with my job. He's the
one that ever a problem with me. He's doing that
don't like me for no reason.

Speaker 2 (14:42):
He know what I mean, he's doing he don't like me.

Speaker 14 (14:48):
He's like.

Speaker 2 (14:50):
You should turn.

Speaker 4 (14:51):
Into a right.

Speaker 15 (14:53):

play with no woman when they comes to smells.

Speaker 2 (19:20):
Ye'all hey yo.

Speaker 5 (19:22):
But but the massage is like it's very necessary. Like
I think she used to work in physical therapy because
like she like she made me feel like I was taller,
like she stretched you out when she do your like
she got the hot stone treatment. She's just like eucalyptus
put something like that. You can smell the sense like everything.
And she traveled from Tampa to come to Orlando because
she couldn't catch me when I was in Tampa. So

(19:43):
she's definitely mobile.

Speaker 3 (19:45):
All right, get it off your chest eight undrink five
eight five one oh five.

Speaker 2 (19:48):
When we got the latest lauryn.

Speaker 18 (19:49):
Coming up, we do uh TD Jakes is stepping back
as SINGI your pastor from his church after his medical
scare a couple months ago, so we won't get into
all that.

Speaker 6 (19:58):
You love your bishop, Yes, here for the festival. Yes,
I don't even know.

Speaker 2 (20:03):
I want to call it this Saraji.

Speaker 5 (20:05):
Remember Saraji used to come out slammable, Bob Young Her
and Sasha Smith.

Speaker 6 (20:09):
But yeah, I love that. This is inspired by the festival.

Speaker 3 (20:12):
Okay, all right, we'll get to that next. It's the
Breakfast Club. Good morning, the Breakfast.

Speaker 2 (20:16):
Club, Morning everybody.

Speaker 3 (20:20):
It's d J N V Jesse, Hilarry Charlamage, the guy
we are the Breakfast Club.

Speaker 2 (20:24):
Let's get to the Latest with Laura long Be coming
the street fast. She gets them from somebody that knows
somebody detail.

Speaker 6 (20:32):
I'm a homegirl that knows a little bit about everything.

Speaker 2 (20:35):
She'd be having the Latest on the Law, the Latest
with Lauren La Rosa.

Speaker 1 (20:40):
Sometimes you have sometimes you have details, sometimes you have
a little bit of everything.

Speaker 2 (20:44):
It's the ladies on the Breakfast Club talking to me.

Speaker 6 (20:49):
I'm sorry, damn you that was going on. No, I
was up in the wrong way.

Speaker 3 (20:54):
Okay, great weekend in Atlanta.

Speaker 2 (20:59):
Let's go here. Somebody to be around. She was surrounded
by studs, and the studs was onlin.

Speaker 6 (21:05):
Motivational advice. He took pictures with the sign. He was like,
so you had on that little pants see with the crap.

Speaker 2 (21:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 14 (21:12):
Hey.

Speaker 1 (21:13):
One of the studs walked up to her and said,
lo you ate that and I was like, oh, I
don't know what they were talking.

Speaker 6 (21:20):
Well, wow, that's a crazy segue.

Speaker 18 (21:23):
TD Jakes is stepping down as senior pastor at the
Potter's House Church in Dallas.

Speaker 13 (21:28):
Uh.

Speaker 18 (21:28):
He announced it this past Sunday at during his one
of his services.

Speaker 6 (21:31):
Let's take a listen.

Speaker 14 (21:33):
I have seen too many men build something and stayed
so long that they killed what they build. What you
gotta understand is it's not so important that you just

(21:54):
know when to grab a hole. It's doing when they
let go. What you didn't know from November forward, they've
been running the church anyway. They're not meant to replace

(22:14):
me because nobody can.

Speaker 2 (22:18):
What the hell it going on.

Speaker 14 (22:19):
But if they step into this position, they may extend me.

Speaker 2 (22:24):
Y'all just played three clips back to back with no context.

Speaker 18 (22:26):
Yeah, So the second one was TD Jakes after he
announced that his daughter, Sarah Jake Roberts and pastor Torrey
Roberts will be taking over the church. He just had
the church like welcome them. He explained that. You know
what we heard him say, and go ahead, Charlem mee,
I know you have something.

Speaker 2 (22:43):
I was just gonna say. I love Bishop TD Jakes.

Speaker 1 (22:45):
That man has helped me get through so much, just
listening to his sermons over the years, reading his books,
and being able to develop a personal relationship with him.
I love that man, and I want to thank Bishop
td Jakes for all his service dropping the clues bombs
for Bishop.

Speaker 18 (22:57):
Tdj Yeah, and he talked how the scare that he
had in November as well. And for those of you
guys who don't remember, back in November, he was preaching
and while he was preaching, he went down on stage.
At the time, they just said it was a medical emergency.
We didn't really know what happened, but then TJ's came
out and said that it was actually a massive heart attack.
He had no idea because there was no he didn't
have the typical symptoms of going into a heart attack.

(23:17):
He just felt like he was going to sleep, and
a doctor I told him that five minutes later he
would have been dead on a rival to the hospital.
So it was a serious heart attack, so you know. Yeah,
And he also said that he's taking some time to
go out and do some more things in the community.

Speaker 6 (23:31):
So okay, But I.

Speaker 1 (23:33):
Also want to say, when I tell you, Bishop td
Jakes is passing the torch the more than capable individuals,
past the Torre and Pastor Sarah Jakes Roberts. They both
was at the Black Effect Podcast Festival this past weekend
and I told Torre, I said, brother, you and Pastor
Sarah are on divine assignment because the impact that they
have on.

Speaker 2 (23:51):
People, especially young people, is incredible.

Speaker 1 (23:54):
Every young person around me at the festival.

Speaker 2 (23:57):
Wanted to meet them.

Speaker 1 (23:58):
One of my young men, Te's Marcus, got another young mentee,
Nhla McPherson.

Speaker 2 (24:02):
When I tell you, these people love Pastor Sarah and
Pastor Torrey. So Sarah and Torrey.

Speaker 1 (24:07):
Have the ability to bring a whole new flock of
people to the church. So salute the Bishop Jakes in
Pastor Sarah and Pastor Torrey. I call them the first
family of Faith. I love those individuals.

Speaker 6 (24:17):
Yeahs, and I got to meet them. Two things.

Speaker 18 (24:19):
To Charlemagne, I was like, no, it's too muchcause everybody
was like fit, like going crazy over them, and I
was like, I don't want to meet them as too much.

Speaker 6 (24:25):
But I used to go to their.

Speaker 18 (24:26):
Church in La years ago, and a lot of people
if you if you've been in La and lived it
for a while one church was like the church that
like you go, it helps you get through your experience
because it's tough and you're moving and transitioning. So I
got to tell them that, and as I was talking,
I felt myself getting a little motion.

Speaker 2 (24:40):
I'm like, why am I?

Speaker 18 (24:41):
But they really do symbolize like a time and like
your life in LA when you're trying to figure things
out and you go to their church trying to you know,
and they.

Speaker 2 (24:48):
Give you that.

Speaker 1 (24:49):
People were in tears meeting Pastor Sarah this weekend at
the Black Effect podcast Bestfall. And I know Sarah don't
need me too because she's divinely protected, but I'll flip
tables for Sarah.

Speaker 2 (24:58):
Jake Roberts, you hit me amazing.

Speaker 6 (25:01):
Yeah. Well we wrap it up there, so I come
back to the next next one. Yeah all right, you
look real quick though, yo.

Speaker 5 (25:06):
So I went to get my nails done in Jersey City,
you know, just give them something, right, And what I
noticed was talking to the Asian woman who was doing
my nails, yo, like the tariffs directly, just to see
it in real time, how it affects everybody is crazy,
because she was saying, like her and her inventory like
she's running out of stuff, and because there are tariffs

(25:28):
on China showing the whin is coming, she don't know when, Yeah,
and like to buy. She can buy the same stuff
in America, but it's so much money. It's expensive here,
and so she's like, I'm damned if I, you know, try,
I'm damn shopping for my products in America.

Speaker 6 (25:44):
So I may not have my shop too much longer.

Speaker 5 (25:46):
This this is my bread and butter. I've been doing
this for forty five years. How forty five years older
lady and named me me in Jersey City. So like,
just to see how it affects people in real time,
I mean, I know it's real, but yeah, to hear
her testimony, just tell me that while she's doing my nails,
and I'm like, damn, you know, I didn't even think
about nails.

Speaker 1 (26:04):
Yeah, that's interesting because she could like triple her prices, right,
But then what about all the other nail salons around her?
Are they they going to do that? They probably gonna
have to. Yeah, I'm sure they're all dealing with the
same thing. So now now your nail regular nail job
gonna cost probably three times as much as they used to.

Speaker 5 (26:21):
Yes, and nail text costs more than the shops, you
know what I mean, but the ones that are and
they're more convenient because they can come to you and stuff.
But she's like, she don't want to increase her prices
because she's been there for forty five years and she
got like clients that have been coming to her, you
know who then had kids, generations and generations like she got.

Speaker 3 (26:39):
So she don't want to they have to do like
a tariff twenty.

Speaker 6 (26:42):
Five dollars pedicure twenty five dollars minutes. Yeah, and she
is so heartbroken over that.

Speaker 2 (26:48):
Yo, it's horrible.

Speaker 3 (26:50):
I wanted to share that, all right, Well that was
the lady is with Lauren. When we come back, we
got front page news and don't go anywhere. It's the
Breakfast Club.

Speaker 2 (26:55):
Come on, you're checking out the Breakfast Club morning.

Speaker 3 (26:59):
Everybody is j Envy, Jess Hilarius, Charlamagne to god, we
are the Breakfast Club. Let's get back in some front
page news now so quick. Sports New York Knicks beat
the Pistons ninety four to ninety three. They leave the
series three one. I know the Troy's mad about that one,
but they were physical the whole game. So how are you
gonna not caught make a call at the last play
when they were physical the whole game? So great, misscall.

(27:20):
Minnesota Timberwolves beat the LA Lakers one, sixteen one to thirteen.
Minnesota Leeds three one. Celtics beat the Lando Magic Forts
to leads the series three one, and.

Speaker 2 (27:27):
The Paces beat the Bucks they lead the series three
one as well.

Speaker 8 (27:31):
What's up, Morgan, Yeah, let's get Let's continue conversation, conversing.
Excuse me, hello Monday about sports? Okay, the wait is
over for shador Sanders. I know we was all watching
to see when he would go be drafted, right, So,
as you mentioned on Friday, he did end up in Cleveland,
but it was not in the second round.

Speaker 6 (27:49):
Instead, it was the fifth round.

Speaker 2 (27:50):
Y'all.

Speaker 8 (27:51):
Shadori is the son of Hall of Famer and Colorado
head coach Dion Primetime Sanders, the former Colorado quarterback, was
drafted fifth round by by the Cleveland Browns. Sanders, who
many thought would go in the first round. Of course, again,
as I mentioned, you guys thought the second round, but
he slid all the way down to the one hundred.

Speaker 6 (28:09):
And sixty sixth pick overall.

Speaker 8 (28:11):
So Let's take a listen to what he had to
say following his selection.

Speaker 6 (28:15):
After that was made, let's hear from Shador Sanders the.

Speaker 15 (28:18):
Things happen sometimes it's adversity, and we gotta change it.

Speaker 4 (28:22):
Though we got to be different either here or that.

Speaker 15 (28:24):
You did, he looking controller, You can control that, so
you just gotta remained pros to stay happy at all times.
And three, Oh God, I got you. I knew the
whole time. Guy having question the song wasn't really panicking
because because I understood, it's about perfect time here.

Speaker 1 (28:41):
Man box thought saying, absolutely everything happens the way God
wants it to happen. And that's what I love the
most about the way she door handled that situation all weekend.

Speaker 2 (28:51):
He laughed.

Speaker 1 (28:52):
We never saw him get frustrated. He didn't have no
sense of entitlement, He didn't blame nobody. He just simply
kept giving God the glory. And I love that. That
showed me everything I needed to know about his character
and his attitude. The fact that he was just like, yo,
whatever God got playing is going to happen like he
never let his faith waiver. And I love that about
Shador Sanders. Man salute to him.

Speaker 8 (29:13):
But there was a lot of, you know, speculation as
to why it happened the way it happened. But to
your point, you know, and to his point, God's timing,
you know, nobody, nobody can't control that period.

Speaker 1 (29:24):
And I will say that if Chador goes to the
NFL and he sucks, all that collusion talk is out
the window.

Speaker 2 (29:30):
If he goes to the NFL and he's not good,
and he proved all.

Speaker 1 (29:32):
Those teams who passed on him correct, So let's pray
he proves them wrong.

Speaker 2 (29:36):
That's right, all right?

Speaker 8 (29:37):
So yeah, Meanwhile, the son of Atlanta Falcons head coach
is admitting to the childish prank Jack Ulbridge. He apologized
for prank calling Shador Sanders during Day two of the Draft.
Now defensive defensive coordinator Ben Olbert to his son, impersonated
New Orleans Saints general manager Mickey Loomis and told the
Colorado quarterback that he was going to take him with
the next pick, and then Sanders ended up falling to

(30:01):
the Browns in round five.

Speaker 2 (30:03):
Oh, I didn't hear that one.

Speaker 1 (30:04):
The one I heard was the one where he told him, what,
You're gonna have to wait a little bit longer. I
ain't hear the one that he said, I'm gonna pick
you next.

Speaker 2 (30:09):
There was only one call, so you maybe sitting on
both calls. I heard he said, he is. I only
heard the.

Speaker 1 (30:13):
One point where he said, you're gonna have to wait
a little bit longer, by the way, giving them donkey
of the day to day.

Speaker 3 (30:18):
But that was hilarious. Come on now, I think that
was somebody else too. That's that's not funny. You should
get his asship though. That was fun that was hilarious.
Cut it out.

Speaker 2 (30:27):
That ain't funny when you're sitting there waiting to get
your name. That's why it's funny.

Speaker 8 (30:32):
The question is what type of punishment can you know
that that child or even the person that.

Speaker 6 (30:40):
The coordinator, like, what kind of punishment? How a y'all
gonna handle it?

Speaker 1 (30:43):
And that's why I'm giving them donkey of today because
you know, in that moment, he didn't care about what
his daddy's profession was, like, you gotta care about you.
You you gotta care about what your daddy does because
you bring it negative attention and like to him.

Speaker 2 (30:56):
No, that's true.

Speaker 8 (30:57):
Also switching gears, a Louisiana judge says a two year
old US citizen has been deported with no due process.
On Friday, a toddler was sent to Honduras with her
mother who had been deported. Now it is important to
note that the mother does not have legal status in
the United States. So Judge Terry Daughtry, who was appointed
by President Trump, ordered a hearing to be held next

(31:18):
month on the issue. Now, he says the hearing is
in the interest of dispelling our strong suspicion that the
government just deported a US citizen with no meaningful process.
So it's also being reported that three children, and as
I mentioned, the two year old have allegedly been deported
to Honduras illegally. The two year old, as I mentioned before,
and then there's a four year old and a seven
year old with another mother. Now that mother also did

(31:40):
not have legal status, and the four year old is
actually being treated for cancer. So that's absolutely horrible that
that would happen in the midst of treatment. Now on
CNN State of the Union, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer
slam's President Trump following those allegations, saying the administration is
violating the rule of law and Americans are not happy
about it.

Speaker 6 (31:59):
Let's take a list. To Senator Schumer, this is not
the only instance.

Speaker 19 (32:02):
There are reportedly other instances where US citizen children were
deported without any due process. Due process is a hallmark
of what our country is all about, rule of law
and ice, and Trump seemed to break it in every
single way. Right now, President Trump is violating rule of
law in every way, and we're fighting him every single day.

Speaker 8 (32:24):
So yeah, he was also Schumer was also asked about
the possibility of impeaching Trump, but he said it's too
soon to decide, also noting that, you know, the Dems
do not control the Senate or the House, so that
would not be Yeah, this.

Speaker 2 (32:39):
Would be a third time getting in peached. What's that
gonna do.

Speaker 1 (32:41):
But you know what, Morgan, I did not know. I
did not know until you said it about the two
year old. I mean, I knew about the two year
old getting deported, but all the news reports just kept
saying that a two year old got deported. I didn't
know that the mother had got deported because she wasn't
a citizen.

Speaker 2 (32:54):
Why, Yeah, I didn't know that.

Speaker 6 (32:56):
That's gonna be a you know, a big thing.

Speaker 8 (32:58):
This is probably gonna be one of those what do
you call the first case, the precedent case, and what's
going to probably be a long standing situation for a
lot of migrants. So it's something to watch and if
I can, I know, we probably running out of time,
but random story. I thought that was very very interesting.
A new new data from lending Tree shows a growing
number of Americans are using credit now to buy groceries.

(33:21):
A survey of two thousand consumers ages eighteen to seventy
nine found that fifty percent reported using credit to help
lower excuse me, cover the cost of food.

Speaker 6 (33:30):
About twenty five percent.

Speaker 8 (33:31):
Of those surveys that they used to they used buy now,
pay later loans for groceries.

Speaker 6 (33:37):
Now, yeah, groceries.

Speaker 8 (33:39):
I mean we know about you know, big electronics things
like that, or you know other things, make furniture whatever.

Speaker 6 (33:44):
You know, I ain't got a couch, just you.

Speaker 2 (33:46):
Know, paying all I've been doing.

Speaker 5 (33:48):
I've been using credit for groceries though, you know, just
instead of using liquid cash, you know, for my business
or whatever. So I mean that's been using cash, but
that's understanding later. That's that's crazy to have to do
that to eat, you.

Speaker 8 (33:59):
Know, financing absolutely, yeah, I think using credit on groceries,
is you know, find if you find that to be
feasible for you in terms of you know, like any
of the cakesbacks you can get for your credit cards
or stuff like that rewards. You know, I might swipe
you know, the travel card for you know, you want
to get the rewards back and stuff like that. But
you know, like you're saying, buy now, hey later, is
definitely a side of the times.

Speaker 6 (34:21):
It's not crazy, yeah, but that's your front page news, y'all.

Speaker 8 (34:24):
Y'all following me on social at Morgan Media and formal
news coverage. Make sure you are following ad Black Information Network,
download the free iHeartRadio app and visit us at binnews
dot com.

Speaker 3 (34:34):
Thank y'all, I thank you Morgan. Now, when we come back,
let's open up the phone lines. Eight hundred five eight
five one oh five one just just broke down her
experience at a nail shop this weekend where the owners
said that, you know, she might have.

Speaker 2 (34:46):
To close because she can't get products. She has to
raise the prices. Things are too expensive.

Speaker 3 (34:50):
So the question is, how are tariffs affecting you eight
hundred five eight five one oh five five to one
on your business owner or your regular consumer, How is
it affecting you?

Speaker 2 (35:00):
Call us up right now. It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning,
the Breakfast Club.

Speaker 11 (35:11):
It's topic time called eight hundred five five one oh
five one to join into the discussion with the Breakfast Club.

Speaker 3 (35:18):
Morning everybody in stej envy just hilarious charlamage to god.

Speaker 2 (35:23):
We are the Breakfast Club.

Speaker 3 (35:24):
If you're just joining us, we open up the phone
lines eight hundred five eight five one oh five one.
We're asking how have the tariffs affected you? Now, this
conversation comes from Uh. Jess was getting her nails done
over the weekend and telling people what happened.

Speaker 5 (35:36):
Just yeah, So I was getting my nails done in
Jersey City, you know, a nice little design I mean
nail salon. And the lady who was doing my nails,
she is the owner and she's been doing nails for
over forty years. And she was saying that the tariffs
are affecting her faster than she thought they would because
she's running out of inventory and she orders her stuff

(35:57):
but she don't know when it's coming.

Speaker 6 (35:58):
It's high as hell.

Speaker 5 (35:59):
And you know, even when they do pay, it's not
even only the price gouging, like the price increased it's
it takes a long time to get here. So she
was saying, like she don't know how long she's gonna
be open, how much longer she'll be open because she
doesn't want to increase our prices, and you know that's
gonna make her lose clientele. She she had twenty year,

(36:20):
thirty year clients and she just she don't want to.
She's gonna have to, but she said she don't want to.
She was so devastated, and it was nobody in there.
It was nobody. It was a nice big shot, but
I had to get my nails short with the ovalay
because she didn't have like any tips, y'all know, like
my nails long. She didn't have any tips, she didn't
have a lot of colors. She had ran out of stuff,

(36:42):
so she did what she could on my nails.

Speaker 6 (36:44):
I still like supported her.

Speaker 3 (36:46):
Well, it's saying that some of the major things that
are be going to growing up that would affect everybody
is first and foremost clothing. They said the largest American
retailer source of powerl from China in Asian country, so
footwear and clothing and gonna shoot up. They also said toys,
so they said almost eighty percent of the toys sold
in the US are imported from China, so that's gonna

(37:07):
be going up as well. They said, seafood is gonna
be going up because of the tariff. Excuse me, Yes,
Seafood and Sheen.

Speaker 1 (37:14):
Sheen hiked their prices, their US prices as much as
three hundred and seventy seven percent ahead of tariff increases.
And that's the sad part about a lot of this stuff, man,
Like how many of these corporations are gonna hike their
prices just because they're greedy and they can blame the.

Speaker 3 (37:29):
Hike the price hike on tariffs. And Charlemagne is something
that probably affects you.

Speaker 1 (37:33):
Nuts he nuts, nuts go, I love, I love honey
roasted cashews.

Speaker 2 (37:39):
Yeah, they said a lot with the tariffs.

Speaker 3 (37:41):
They're saying a forty six percent tariff on Vietnam will
definitely hurt people that are heavy heavily into nuts.

Speaker 2 (37:49):
So I know that's come from Vietnamese.

Speaker 3 (37:51):
I mean you come from Vietnam, Yeah, they said, comes
from nuts and also Brazil, Brazil and Vietnam where we
get a lot of our nuts from.

Speaker 2 (37:58):
You know, a gate comes from comes from queens. That's
why it's called queens. That's why.

Speaker 1 (38:03):
That's why the envy is a queen from queens. And
next next, next hour is our next topic. Was there
a time you thought you were gay?

Speaker 2 (38:10):
We're going to talk about that.

Speaker 1 (38:12):
What are you talking about? So NV, get ready to
tell your story. But if you don't, I will.

Speaker 2 (38:17):
There's no there's no tariffs on gay, sir.

Speaker 3 (38:18):
But coffee and rice and wine and spirits, they're saying,
are going to be affected as well.

Speaker 6 (38:24):
Damn, what do we have in America?

Speaker 2 (38:26):
Like damn it?

Speaker 5 (38:27):
Just this also lets you know how heavily we depend
on other countries as well. God damn we don't. We
can't get our own nuts. We ain't got no American.

Speaker 1 (38:35):
Nuts because that's because and it's just my personal opinion,
America focuses too much on celebrity.

Speaker 2 (38:44):
I really do.

Speaker 1 (38:44):
I feel like America's obsession with celebrity is what led to,
you know, a celebrity being in the White House. And
that's the type of things that people focus on, like
what actual skills do we teach people.

Speaker 2 (38:54):
In this country?

Speaker 3 (38:55):
Now, you're right, and we have to get back to
the trades. Like you said, we have to make sure
that we we it's not just I know, I love college.
I graduated from Hampton University. Salute to all my four
year schools. But also, like you said, we got to
get back to Weldon, HVAC Electrical Automotive. We have to
get back to those trade schools. We have to salut
the Lincoln Tech by the way, but we got to
get back to those trade schools.

Okay, so a lot of the budgeting and stuff is
allocated for different stuff over materialer not good because they're
buying speak from a material for students, so it's not
been good for us.

Speaker 3 (40:03):
Yeah, a lot of people are actually pushing things aside,
like if they were going to do something for their
house or do something extra, they're just waiting.

Speaker 4 (40:09):
Now.

Speaker 3 (40:09):
They're holding onto the money because they don't know when
that money is going to be needed, when it's not,
when it's not gonna be coming in no more. So
if people want to do things, they just got to
hold off a little bit, which is I'm sure affecting
you guys a lot.

Speaker 13 (40:19):
Absolutely.

Speaker 20 (40:20):
I used to teach at the school that you're familiar with,

Speaker 14 (41:02):
Kate?

Speaker 2 (41:03):
Looking more? How is the terriff affected you?

Speaker 16 (41:05):
They whopping my ass already because I tried to order
a specialty made wigs from Unite because United has a
Brooklyn like location. But if it's pre made, of course
it's like regulars. But I tried to order like a
specialty mad one that was like chocolate brown, and it
was like real long, like thirty inches, and they tried
to ask fifty five dollars on top of regular taxes

(41:26):
on top of that.

Speaker 2 (41:27):
You know what's crazy?

Speaker 1 (41:28):
Lauren is in here with a short wig, this one
and two for the exact same reason.

Speaker 3 (41:31):
So just not just to get Lauren had to get
short wigs.

Speaker 2 (41:37):
That's crazy.

Speaker 3 (41:38):
What they what they tell you that Jess was in
the back actually cutting Lauren's wig because it's so expensive.

Speaker 2 (41:42):
We got to get just got to do a couple
of jobs. Now I hate this school.

Speaker 12 (41:46):
So.

Speaker 2 (41:48):
You know what what you mean?

Speaker 16 (41:52):
The way the way I'm about to just order these
regular ass wigs out of Brooklyn, I'm gonna.

Speaker 2 (41:56):
Ask, damn what was a regular? As we got to
Brooklyn look like.

Speaker 5 (42:02):
The brig the wig that said next to you every morning, damn.

Speaker 16 (42:07):
You ain't.

Speaker 2 (42:09):
I ain't gonna let y'all talk about long wing like that. Now,
enough about.

Speaker 16 (42:16):
We were talking about the one he had on like the.

Speaker 1 (42:19):
Other week that was from that was from Lauren, people
from the store in Brooklyn, see each you know what.
I love having these conversations, Thank you, I Sleuthor Keler.
I love having these conversations because we live in an
era where nobody wants to show their struggle, like social
media has everybody wanting to look rich. So you never
gonna really know how real it is out here in

(42:40):
the streets unless preak tell you well.

Speaker 3 (42:43):
Eight hundred and five eight five one oh five one.
We're asking how are the terriffs affecting you? Let's discuss it's.

Speaker 2 (42:49):
The breakfast club. Good morning.

Speaker 1 (42:57):
If y'all talking about it, you know we talking about it.

Speaker 2 (43:00):
It's topic times called eight hundred five eight five one
five one. To join into the discussion with the breakfast.

Speaker 3 (43:06):
Club morning, everybody is j Envy, Jess hilarious, Charlamagne the guy.

Speaker 2 (43:11):
We are the breakfast club. If you're just.

Speaker 3 (43:13):
Joining us, we're talking about how all the terrorists affecting you.

Speaker 2 (43:16):
Now, this conversation comes from jest.

Speaker 3 (43:18):
She was out and about getting her nails done, and
you spoke to one of the nail shop owners, and
what did she tell you?

Speaker 5 (43:23):
She was saying that her inventory is so low because
she doesn't know when she's going her stuff is going
to be delivered. Not only is it high, like it's
increased in price, but it takes long to get her inventory.
She'd been waiting for like, I think, like a month
for her stuff. So she ran out of nail polishes,

(43:43):
nail files, and like things for pedicures. She can only
do like she really couldn't even give me a damn pedicure.

Speaker 6 (43:50):
Well, she couldn't complete the service.

Speaker 5 (43:51):
I wanted my nails done and my toes done, but
she didn't have certain things, and she just didn't want
to be a disservice.

Speaker 6 (43:57):
She didn't want to do a disservice.

Speaker 5 (43:58):
So she was like, I'm sorry, saying if you don't
want to get you nails, and I said, I will
just to support you. But she didn't have tips for
her nail She ran out of a crylic And it's
just really really sad because she was damn near in
tears and there.

Speaker 1 (44:08):
Let me ask you, she's not even gonna be able
to afford to give you a hookup for shotting her
out this morning.

Speaker 5 (44:14):
It's okay, it is totally okay. I gave her a
big tip. I just you know, basically like a nice donation,
but I don't even know if that will help her
because they ain't gonna make our stuff come.

Speaker 2 (44:24):
I was gonna ask you, you know, speaking to other comedians.

Speaker 3 (44:26):
I know your shows are sold out, but the other
comedians having a hard time selling out shows because people
don't want to go out anymore. So there's a lot
of DJs being saying that their clubs are not packed,
that it's hard for them to get you know, jobs
because people are not going out. They're not spending that
extra money at the club buying drinks and things like that.

Speaker 6 (44:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (44:41):
No, it definitely affects the tour season for sure, and
then not for enoughing. Everybody is on tour now. I've
never seen so many people on tour at once. You know,
you got from artists to comedians to everything. And then
it's a lot of festivals and DJs, I mean, you know,
like car shows, it's a whole lot of like a
host of events going on and people got a fitigure out. Okay,
this ticket is thirty five, you know all right, if

(45:03):
I can do this and I won't be able to
go to this show, and you know so it is
definitely a lot. Even in my own experience with me
selling out shows, it takes longer to sell them out.
I sell them out, but it just takes so much longer.
I remember I used to sell out shows making one
video about where I'm going to be and that that
just do numbers and then sold out before I get there.

(45:23):
But now it sells out right before, or it's still
be a couple of tickets away from being sold out.

Speaker 2 (45:29):
Can I say, can your brother say something real? Cause
I just want to say something.

Speaker 1 (45:32):
I just want to say something to all the DJs
and all the comedians who, uh, you know, nobody's coming
to their shows.

Speaker 2 (45:37):
Wasn't nobody coming to your shows before these damn tires?
Cut it out? Okay, cut it off.

Speaker 5 (45:42):
You're coming at the comedian.

Speaker 1 (45:47):
No, I'm just saying some of y'all wasn't getting no
solo out shows before these tis.

Speaker 4 (45:51):
Now.

Speaker 2 (45:51):
I know it's a good excuse.

Speaker 5 (45:52):
To you, but you don't like you like I ain't.

Speaker 13 (45:58):
Y'all.

Speaker 2 (46:01):
Yeah, period, Hello, lose this y'all so faust.

Speaker 4 (46:05):
Hey man, this is booming from from the eight.

Speaker 2 (46:07):
Four three happening.

Speaker 17 (46:10):
I'm doing great this morning, doing great on five twenty six,
headed to the port, trying to take these boxes.

Speaker 4 (46:15):
Turned then for the day. Are your long shong heriffs
don't destroy us?

Speaker 17 (46:18):
No, how the long straw and I poke containers.

Speaker 1 (46:20):
Man, Okay, it's sigh to Tarif effecting you man, it's
it's killing us down here, man.

Speaker 17 (46:26):
We was doing easily thirty boxes a week.

Speaker 4 (46:29):
Down it's down to maybe four boxes, and.

Speaker 17 (46:31):
Right now the board is showing empty.

Speaker 2 (46:33):
No more work and get them going home? Wow, damn jesus, yep.

Speaker 17 (46:40):
Right here man, like it used to be, because like
like two months ago, we was getting like two thousand
boxes a day.

Speaker 2 (46:48):
I need y'all to know.

Speaker 1 (46:49):
Elections have consequences. Okay, were just approaching the first hundred
days and look how people are talking so.

Speaker 5 (46:55):
That So that also affects employees at the ports. Yeah, absolutely, yeah,
because I ain't not coming in.

Speaker 1 (47:00):
They ain't got no new job, man, and these companies
are gonna have to start laying people off.

Speaker 2 (47:04):
Wow. Hello, who's this. Hey, this is asking me good morning.
How have the TIFFs affected your mama?

Speaker 21 (47:12):
So I worked in healthcare, I worked with children. I'm
a provider, and it's affecting medical devices and getting these
kid children because now the prices are just going to
go up, and then that's going to be put on
the families.

Speaker 4 (47:28):
Things like when.

Speaker 21 (47:29):
Children are born they have abnormal hearts, devices to where
the device is the heart, or things with their brain
to help stop them.

Speaker 4 (47:38):
Wow, it's going to help you know, fact them.

Speaker 1 (47:42):
Wow.

Speaker 21 (47:48):
Yeah, even some of my patients too. I live in Texas,
so some parents even drop their kids off and leave
because they're worried something they happen. But they still want
their so does be taken care of.

Speaker 1 (48:01):
We should not live in a country where people have
to uh you know, where people can't afford to live.
I know, we listen to what I'm saying. We say
afford to live. I'm talking about those people she's talking
about literally life and death right because of their health situation.

Speaker 2 (48:16):
They can't afford to live.

Speaker 3 (48:18):
But you know, you know it's crazy because it affects
it all the way around. Like I know somebody who
you know, I was, you know, I always talk about
when I get my physical and all my friends are
telling him, like, yo, you need to get your physically,
you need to get your physical. He was like, yo,
I can't. And I'm like why. He was like, because
the cost of everything is so far up. He was like,
I can't even afford to pay my copay when I go.
He was like, I got to you know. He was like,
so I gotta wait a little bit. And I'm like, damn.

(48:39):
I'm like, well, you know how much is the copay?
Because he can't afford it. He has to do all
these odd jobs to make sure he can put food
on the table.

Speaker 2 (48:45):
And he said everything is shot up in price, that's right.

Speaker 1 (48:48):
And you know, Envy also started a little side business
where he's giving people prostate exams, you.

Speaker 2 (48:53):
Know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (48:54):
And a lot of his own boys pro state exams
Andv's doing it and you're not certified.

Speaker 2 (48:58):
I was not even certified. Only get it to Shella.

Speaker 1 (49:00):
Man, you ain't never gave me one but a lot.
That's what he's been telling all those friends that can
afford physicals. Let me give you a little quick prof
stay check.

Speaker 2 (49:08):
So because I know what it did, Yeah, what's the
more of the story.

Speaker 1 (49:14):
The more of the story is man pray, that's all.

Speaker 6 (49:19):
But all jokes, not like what you said.

Speaker 5 (49:21):
I know you weren't joking about praying, but what you said,
every election has its consequences.

Speaker 2 (49:26):
That's literally the moral of the story. That's right, Crazy,
that's right.

Speaker 1 (49:30):
All of this is directly due to the actions of
President Donald Trump.

Speaker 2 (49:35):
And this ain't even no partisan thing I'm talking about.

Speaker 1 (49:38):
If you are an American, you will be affected by
the things that he's done. So you know, you got
to give him the credit because when things go wrong,
he gets the credit. When things go right, you're gonna
get the credit. So right now, things are going very wrong.

Speaker 2 (49:51):
That's right.

Speaker 3 (49:52):
All right, Well, when we come back, we have the
leadist with Lauren and Lauren what we're talking about.

Speaker 18 (49:58):
Yes, we do so. I know we talked about your
door saying earlier this morning. But did y'all see the
video going viral of him in Shinca from the draft
day they're seeing it may be a little thing, that's
my grad.

Speaker 6 (50:08):
We're gonna talk about it, all right, We'll.

Speaker 2 (50:09):
Get to that next. It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning morning.

Speaker 3 (50:11):
Everybody is DJ Envy Jess hilarious Charlamagne, the gud we
are the Breakfast Club again. I just want to salute
to all the dance studio, especially all the black dance studios.
A lot of times when I'm in this, you know,
the dance competitions, we don't see too many black dance studios.
So when I see them, I just like to recognize
them as one in Brooklyn, one in Union, New Jersey.
I don't know the names. I wrote the names down,

(50:32):
but I forgot it at home. But I just wanted
to salute them.

Speaker 2 (50:34):
They know who they are.

Speaker 3 (50:35):
I'm sure they're listening, but they do a terrific, amazing
job doing what they do and bringing the actual culture
on that stage because a lot of times when you
see girls dancing on that stage, it's what they think
the culture is.

Speaker 2 (50:48):
But when you have those black dance studios, they are
endozed in the culture where where it was one was
called Island Gals. Island Goals out in Union, New Jersey.

Speaker 3 (50:56):
They killed it, like had maybe about twenty thirty girls
aging six to I would say fifteen, and New girls
are killing it all types of dances and they're doing ballet,
they're doing tap, and they're doing hip hop.

Speaker 2 (51:08):
So I just want to say.

Speaker 3 (51:09):
Salute to all the the dance studios out there. Y'all
put a lot of effort in time, and I appreciate it.
That's life, lifestyle.

Speaker 1 (51:17):
It is just you said, you heard, you said you
heard Coco Jones album why not More?

Speaker 2 (51:21):
This weekend?

Speaker 7 (51:22):
Right?

Speaker 1 (51:22):
Absolutely, yes I did, because I saw you said that
in the group chat. You were saying it was dope.

Speaker 2 (51:26):
It really was that.

Speaker 5 (51:27):
And Key Blocks album, well, Key Blocks whol album did
not drop yet, but he got three songs that he
put out and it is a lit I like all
of them. It's No Sweat, three Am in Tokyo and
The Grinch. He dropped those tracks. Those crazy But yeah,
why not More? I listened to Coco Jones whole project, man,
and she's offering like what.

Speaker 2 (51:47):
She's given on the album Dope.

Speaker 5 (51:49):
I didn't heard it from her before, so yeah, and
not saying that, you know, not discredited her earlier music,
but this is a different Coco and is more mature
and sal tree and it's it's something that.

Speaker 2 (51:59):
You can do your come to all the girls.

Speaker 5 (52:00):
This is like she got some some some anthems for
a drama, the.

Speaker 1 (52:04):
Flues bombs for Coco Jones because you know, uh, you know,
over the weekend, I saw people you know, talking about
how and I was saying, how def Jam didn't send
the album.

Speaker 2 (52:13):
Just make sure you go scream her album, you know
what I mean?

Speaker 1 (52:16):
Like if the people that were upset about that, upset
about devth Jam, that's in the that's the album.

Speaker 2 (52:20):
Make sure you go support for project.

Speaker 6 (52:22):
Absolutely yes, going up for her over the weekend on
X but you're not.

Speaker 2 (52:26):
You're not going up if you don't go support that,
you know what I mean?

Speaker 6 (52:29):
Like it was the reviews of people who would listen
to her.

Speaker 2 (52:35):
You got to good her album?

Speaker 1 (52:36):
Good Coco deserves that. Your Davin Charlam, No, I haven't
got a chance to listen to it yet.

Speaker 2 (52:43):
That was out you crazy? You saw you saw the
weekend I had. I was in on Land.

Speaker 1 (52:49):
I'm in Atlanta for the Black Effect podcast festival.

Speaker 2 (52:52):
Had a lot going on this weekend.

Speaker 1 (52:54):
Only you want to know the one song I listened
to over and over this weekender bell God is Good.

Speaker 2 (53:00):
I listened to Regina.

Speaker 1 (53:00):
Milt God is Good for two hours on Saturday morning
as I was just sitting in my hotel getting ready
for the Blackfriend podcast.

Speaker 3 (53:07):
Most people don't and most people don't know. We usually well,
I usually listened to the projects on my way to work.
Got you yeah, because you got a drive where you know,
there's there's nobody bothering us. So that's why we asked
for the albums early, so we could listen to it
on the way to work and dive into it.

Speaker 14 (53:19):
Now.

Speaker 5 (53:20):
I was the host, did Weezy do Good and Wheezy?
I know she ate it up up there. I'm dropping
the bombs for Decisions, Decisions. They did a fantastic job
at the Black Effect Podcast Festival this past Saturday.

Speaker 1 (53:32):
I mean, my guy Louis v he was providing the soundtrack.
You know, it was a great, great, great event.

Speaker 18 (53:37):
I met somebody at the podcast festival who actually went
to the Lean on Me school, y'all and yes, and
he carried me.

Speaker 2 (53:43):
Yes.

Speaker 5 (53:43):
He came to me, he said, he said, when we
do all that in here, if we're gonna do that,
Joe Clarks up, we got to stand on one leg
when we sing the song, because that's when Joe yes,
and he wanted me to yes.

Speaker 2 (53:54):
He literally went in jersey right by you.

Speaker 5 (53:56):
He rased off a real scory.

Speaker 2 (54:00):
Not you don't know your own reference. I did not
even know.

Speaker 6 (54:03):
I just it's just my favorite movie, Freeman movie.

Speaker 2 (54:05):
Of all time. I did as a real person.

Speaker 6 (54:07):
Yes, all that he said, if y'all gonna do it,
do it just right.

Speaker 18 (54:10):
He used to make us stand on one leg and
sing that song so that we understood whatever we were
getting in trouble.

Speaker 2 (54:15):
For damn.

Speaker 5 (54:15):
That makes the movie even more impactful for me. Now,
I did not know that.

Speaker 2 (54:18):
That's what yuh.

Speaker 22 (54:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (54:19):
I think it's based off of school in Patterson Patterson,
New Jersey, and it's New Jersey everything.

Speaker 2 (54:23):
Know that. All right, Let's get to the latest with
Laura writing.

Speaker 6 (54:26):
Lauren be coming a straight fast.

Speaker 2 (54:29):
She gets themrom somebody that knows, somebody to detail.

Speaker 6 (54:32):
I'm a homegirl that knows a little bit about everything.

Speaker 2 (54:35):
She'd be having the latest on the latest with Lauren
la Rosa.

Speaker 1 (54:40):
Sometimes you have fact, sometimes you have details, Sometimes you
have a little bit of everything.

Speaker 4 (54:44):
It's the latest on the breakfast clubs.

Speaker 2 (54:48):
Okay, y'all.

Speaker 18 (54:49):
So over the weekend when your door was celebrating his
draft weekend, even before he was drafted. So this was
after the first round and he did not get drafted.
He had already had celebrations set up, right, so they celebrating,
and there's video that surfaced after this of Shincia, who
is a Jamaican artist, at the celebration. She's sitting on

(55:09):
the couch next to the door. They're talking. There's no
like physical interaction, like no PDA or anything like that,
but they aren't.

Speaker 6 (55:16):
You're looking like why is she there?

Speaker 18 (55:18):
Like it was a random and that's a private celebration
as we know, right, So people started having a conversation
about whether they were dating or not, and people, you know,
felt like for him not to get drafted that first
night in front of and see it, because how gorgeous
she is, how fine she is. It's like they're like, yo,
it's gonna make him go even harder, right, just making
jokes or whatever. So that was like a big thing.
Then they started having a conversation about her age and
his age because she's twenty eight and he's twenty three.

(55:40):
So then they started debating about it, she's too old
to be with him and blah blah blah. So I
reached out to a source Closestencia, because I wanted to
know number one or to even dating before we can
get into this conversation of age or whatever.

Speaker 6 (55:51):
I'm told that they are not dating.

Speaker 18 (55:53):
What I'm told is that he had a bunch of
different girls come in for the celebration weekend, you know,
just to kind of not I wouldn't even say promo,
but just to be a part of like the vibes
and stuff of the weekend. She didn't see his role. Actually,
she was a lead girl that first night. If he
would have been drafted, she was supposed to hand him
that hat off of the shelves of hats that he
had for the school that selected I mean the team

(56:13):
that selected him.

Speaker 6 (56:14):
He didn't get drafted.

Speaker 18 (56:15):
She ended up staying for the weekend because she had
already planned to be there for the weekend because it
was supposed to be a whole celebration for the remainder
of the weekend. They met that day, that draft day,
first day, was the first time the day had ever met. Now,
whether sparks and flew or not, once she, you know
what I mean, metim in person. I have no idea,
but that I know of At that time, they were
not dating. That was the first time even meeting each other.
She was just sitting on the couch in the celebration,

(56:38):
so Boom Thursday.

Speaker 2 (56:39):
Just I'm sorry, yeah.

Speaker 6 (56:40):
Whatever, because you always building me up to break me down.

Speaker 2 (56:43):
That would have been nice.

Speaker 14 (56:44):
Love.

Speaker 5 (56:44):
I love Jencia, I do so is a lucky guy.
Whoever gets that chance. Lucky guy.

Speaker 18 (56:51):
Well, speaking of other lucky guys, the Rock and Roll
Hall of Fame Class of twenty twenty five, Yeah, that
dropped the information of all the you know who's going
to be in the twenty five class?

Speaker 6 (57:03):
And Outcast is.

Speaker 2 (57:06):
Long overdue, well deserved.

Speaker 1 (57:09):
This is the immortal Outcast dropping the clues bombs for
Andred and three thousand and Big Boy, come on, man,
the greatest hip hop group of all time.

Speaker 2 (57:17):
You know, it's.

Speaker 1 (57:17):
Debatable to me between Outcasts and Wu Tang, but most
people definitely have an Outcast, you know, the number one
on their list, very well deserving, like they should be
in every There's not a musical Hall of Fame that
outcasts shouldn't be in. That's right, yes, and Outcast not
the only ones.

Speaker 6 (57:35):
No, there's a full list. So you also have Sound
Garden that's a fool.

Speaker 1 (57:47):
Sound Guard and the White Strike we don't care about that.

Speaker 5 (57:53):
Season and I love them the great time down.

Speaker 2 (57:59):
I'm sorry, it's Salt Pepper.

Speaker 1 (58:00):
Salt and Peppers by far the greatest.

Speaker 5 (58:04):
Absolutely we knew he was talking about the group, right, Yes,
I called them the season and oh okay, I thought
you really thought that.

Speaker 1 (58:13):
No, No, don't even talk about seasons. When you went
to all the unseasoned stuff before you jumped the Salt
and Pep. You went from outcast all the unseasons, sound
and guard. Your story should have been outcast Salt and Pepper.
Then we could have got everything else.

Speaker 2 (58:30):
You could at least did Chubby Checker che check? Yes,
how you do sound?

Speaker 6 (58:35):
God, continue the list.

Speaker 2 (58:38):
Go ahead, That's all I care about. Pepper, Chubby Checker.

Speaker 18 (58:43):
Well, congratulations to them and for those of guys, for
those of you guys who do not know. In order

least twenty five years out from the release of their

(59:05):
styles have prepared cultural change, and Music Excellence, which is
an award designated for like writers, producers, and different musicians.

Speaker 1 (59:13):
What's the over under on Andre three thousands showing up
like that should be? What draft picks and what's all
the mother drafts proodcasts? What's the over under on Andre
three thousand even going to show up for you can't
I don't know. We don't know that thousand he moved
to the beat of his own flu we do not
deal with.

Speaker 2 (59:37):
Because he plays. I wouldn't even be as you said, Cindy,
why you went to I didn't we didn't know.

Speaker 6 (59:42):
I did say, Cidy.

Speaker 2 (59:43):
Lapper, you didn't us sound Garden, and.

Speaker 18 (59:45):
Then I said, Cidey Lapper, you were just so upset
that I said sound Garden that you know what I
mean that you.

Speaker 2 (59:48):
Said that before.

Speaker 1 (59:50):
Yes, I really want to know if Andre three thousand
gonna show up up, y'all said, y'all say that like
that's just a given.

Speaker 2 (59:57):
Andre do not be beat. He's induschrition and he's gonna
show up. I don't know. Saltn.

Speaker 18 (01:00:02):
Pepper will actually be receiving the Musical Influence Award during
the induction ceremony.

Speaker 2 (01:00:07):
Very well deserved.

Speaker 1 (01:00:09):
You're talking about two people who are first ballot Hall
of Fame Music anything, and if they're not they should be.

Speaker 6 (01:00:15):
That's right, yes, and that a war ceremony will go down.

Speaker 7 (01:00:18):
No.

Speaker 6 (01:00:18):
Remember eighth at the Peacock Theater in Los.

Speaker 5 (01:00:21):
Angeles, speaking of Unseasoned Happy Birthday to Jessica.

Speaker 1 (01:00:26):
Album Got Season and Girl Hurts Go Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:00:37):
Forgot Drop.

Speaker 6 (01:00:42):
Yeah, it was a complexion that got you.

Speaker 2 (01:00:47):
Jessica is good people. She she actually one of yours.
She's Mexican, she's not, She's not one of mine. Don't
you people of mine? Don't your husband Mexican? But you
talking about I did not know so. Albut Albert is Hispanic.

Speaker 1 (01:01:03):
Yes, yes, just album man, shout out to you, all right,
just good good people, just gob good people.

Speaker 2 (01:01:14):
Charla Manehore giving your donkey two man before after the hour.

Speaker 1 (01:01:19):
We need Jackson Ulbridge to come to the front of
the congregation.

Speaker 2 (01:01:22):
We would like to have a word with him place
albut in town Spanish? Do you let you know? No,
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (01:01:28):
I didn't know that either, you know, I didn't know
she was. I didn't know what what you're thinking you
think of Riviera Martinez, Lopez Armando like that I'm black?

Speaker 6 (01:01:37):
What you think of Jackson.

Speaker 2 (01:01:39):
Johnson Johnson Washington. I don't know what the hell of
m kelvy is you Irish? Irish donkey today? Who're giving
that donkey too? Man? I already told you we're doing next.
You're checking out the breakfast club donkey. Damn he Hogg.

(01:02:02):
It's the donkey a day, I mean, trying to be
donky today. No more.

Speaker 1 (01:02:06):
They should be embarrassed by what they already did. I'm
not making these people do these days.

Speaker 6 (01:02:10):
Called donkey of the day, and it really caught me
off guard.

Speaker 2 (01:02:14):
Damn Charlamagne. Who got the donkey out the day today?

Speaker 1 (01:02:19):
Well, jeffs hilarious donkey today for Monday, April twenty eighth
coast to Jack's Allbridge.

Speaker 2 (01:02:24):
Who is Jack's Aubridge.

Speaker 1 (01:02:25):
Well, he's the son of Atlanta Falcons defensive coordinator Jeff Albridge. Now,
over the weekend he did something that was absolutely hilarious. Okay, stupid,
which is why he's getting donkey of today, but hilarious nonetheless.
See we all watched Shador Sandra's slide in the twenty
twenty five NFL Draft. He was eventually drafted by the
Cleveland Browns in the fifth round. Dropping the clues bounx
for Shad Door Sanda's sidebar I love the way Shador

(01:02:50):
handled the whole situation. All he kept doing the whole
time he wasn't getting drafted was give all glory to God.
He kept saying, this is God's plan, and he accepted
whatever was happening hapening in his life at that moment.
I love that dropping the clues bounce, you do it
once again. But Jacks took it upoint himself to pretend
to be an NFL general manager and prank call she does, saying,

(01:03:12):
just doing this whole thing.

Speaker 2 (01:03:13):
Let's listen.

Speaker 4 (01:03:17):
Hello, this is Mickey, the geni of the new What
I'm saying, how you there?

Speaker 16 (01:03:24):
Well?

Speaker 14 (01:03:24):
How are you?

Speaker 4 (01:03:24):
Man?

Speaker 2 (01:03:25):
Been waiting?

Speaker 4 (01:03:26):
Yeah, we have. It's been a long wait.

Speaker 14 (01:03:29):
Man.

Speaker 4 (01:03:29):
Uh, we're gonna take it with the next week right here. Man,
you're gonna have to wait a little bit longer. Man,
sorry about that?

Speaker 2 (01:03:46):
Are you me? And he was said longer?

Speaker 1 (01:03:53):
First of all, hilarius. Okay, very very well played. You
gotta give it to him. What a way to meet
the moment.

Speaker 2 (01:03:58):
With a joke. If I had access to Chador's.

Speaker 1 (01:04:01):
Personal number or whatever number he was using on draft day,
my mind might have went to doing something like that too.

Speaker 2 (01:04:06):
At that age, Jack Olbrich is twenty one.

Speaker 1 (01:04:08):
But the reason I'm giving Jacks the credit he deserves
for being stupid is because of who his father is.
His father is Jeff Olbrich, defensive coordinator for the Atlanta Falcons.
Right now as I speak, the NFL is reviewing Jeff's
role in the Shador Sayanda's prank called. The Falcons said
they won't be taking in the action against Jeff, but
the NFL said they have been in contact.

Speaker 2 (01:04:30):
With the Falcons and they are reviewing the matter. And
this is the issue.

Speaker 1 (01:04:34):
See, Jackson, you didn't take into consideration how this could
impact your daddy because of who he is, and that
is something we all need to remember when we do things.

Speaker 2 (01:04:43):
Who around me? Will this impact? Who around me? Was
this effect?

Speaker 1 (01:04:47):
Okay, Jacks, if you was just some twenty one year
old kid who prank called Shador, I'd be like whatever.
But your daddy is in the NFL. Okay, he's defensive
coordinator for the Falcons. Now we know where you got
the number from. Okay, I'm not saying daddy gave it
to you, but you clearly have been privy to some
inside information and that's exactly what happened. Jack's unintentionally came
across the draft contact phone number, which he found in

(01:05:09):
an open eyepad while visiting his parents home. Now you now,
you done made things hot for your daddy for no
damn reason. You know how the internet works, Okay, or
maybe you don't, So let me explain Jack's You're white, okay, Caucasian.
They're the narrative, And the narrative is people already think
that white people owners, executives, coaches in the NFL are
colluding against s your door to humble him and his father,

(01:05:32):
Dion Sanders, because they don't like confident, secure black men.

Speaker 2 (01:05:36):
That's the narrative.

Speaker 1 (01:05:37):
So when the son of a defensive coordinator in the
NFL pranks Shador like that, and you hear Shador say
nobody has this number, it puts fire on the flames
of all the conspiracy theorists because you like, oh, they
really playing with Shador. The son of an NFL defensive
coordinator prank called Shador. Everybody with a tenfoil pool, shisty

(01:05:59):
mass who thought this this was a conspiracy, You can't
tell them nothing after this. You confirmed their suspicions, Jacks,
and you made it hot for your daddy for no
damn reason. Now, Jacks did apologize on Instagram. Let's go
to NBC eleven A Live news for the report.

Speaker 2 (01:06:13):
Police.

Speaker 22 (01:06:14):
I'm sure you saw the shocking video over the weekend
of Shader Sanders being print called.

Speaker 2 (01:06:18):
The callers posing as the Saints.

Speaker 22 (01:06:19):
General manager, leading Shure to believe that he was being
drafted by the Saints. Well, it turns out one of
the kids involved is the son of Falcons defensive coordinator
Jeff Olbrich. The Falcons confirming today that Jacks Olbrick came
across the contact information.

Speaker 2 (01:06:32):
On his father's unlocked iPad.

Speaker 22 (01:06:35):
Jeff Olbrick did not know about any of this until
the print call came to light. The Falcons have apologized
to Chadur and his family. The Falcons would want to
say we have also been in contact with the NFL
will continue to cooperate fully with any inquiries we may
receive from the NFL League office. We are thoroughly reviewing
all protocols and updating if necessary to help prevent an

(01:06:57):
incident like this from happening again. Jack's actually released an
apology on Instagram this afternoon. He says he called Tudor
on Sunday to apologize. Jackson also says what he did
was completely inexcusable, embarrassing, and shameful. He says he's sorry
he took away from Sdura's moment and that it was
selfish and childish.

Speaker 1 (01:07:17):
Yes, make sure you apologize to your daddy too for
embarrassing his last name. And let the record show they
did prank call a couple of other players, but nobody
cared about them because you know, it was the main
attraction for the whole draft. All Right, the NFL needs
to send the Sanders family an edible arrangement or something,
because I can't remember the last time folks talked about
the NFL draft this much, especially after.

Speaker 2 (01:07:36):
The first round. But the moral of the story is this,
you have to.

Speaker 1 (01:07:40):
Understand how your actions affect others. We always think about
how someone is impacted personally, but when you do things,
think about how it will impact others, especially those you
claim to love. Please give Jack's aubridge the biggest he huff.

Speaker 2 (01:07:59):
Matter of fact, let us let Chelsea handle give Jack's
aubridge the biggest he haf heee haw hee haw.

Speaker 6 (01:08:04):
That is way too much.

Speaker 2 (01:08:05):
Dan Maynes m h All Right, Well, thank you for
that Donkey to day. Yes.

Speaker 3 (01:08:10):
Indeed, now when we come back, we have the CEO,
founder and host of the Young Turks, Zenk Huger. You'll
be joining us when we come back, So don't go
anywhere as to Breakfast Club.

Speaker 11 (01:08:20):
Good Morning, the Breakfast clubod Morning.

Speaker 3 (01:08:25):
Everybody's DJ ENVJS hilarious, Charlamagne the guy we are the
Breakfast Club Lola Rosis here as well. We got a
special guest in the building, the CEO and founder and
host of Young Turks, jenk Huger.

Speaker 1 (01:08:38):
How you feeling, I'm good, I'm good, brother, How you doing?
Bless black and hoghy? Favorite man? You got this initiative
that you're launching that you're trying to recruit democrats who
lean into left wing populism.

Speaker 2 (01:08:48):
You got that, right? What does that look like?

Speaker 7 (01:08:50):
So that looks like some of what Trump promised. Hey,
I'm gonna delivered for the average guy and I hate
the establishment, et cetera. But of course he was full
of crap and he didn't mean it, and so so
we said on the young tourists, brothers, all he's going
to do is do tax us for the rich, right,
So that's what he did, and that's what he wants
five naturally and dollars and tax cuts for corporations, et cetera.
So what we're saying is, how about we actually deliver

(01:09:11):
for the average guy. Higher wages, lower drug prices, paid
family leave so you can get a little bit of
time off when you have a kid, money out of
politics and the wars, and.

Speaker 2 (01:09:21):
Lower housing prices.

Speaker 7 (01:09:22):
But in order to do that, you've got to take
on big drug companies, to take on private equity that's
buying our residential homes and driving up the prices. And
so the reason that the Democrats haven't done in the
past is because they're too wedded to the donor class.
And so we're saying, let's bring the Democratic Party back
to what it was. So what it was was serving
the average guy, sold security, Medicare, Medicaid, all these, by

(01:09:43):
the way, super popular programs. So let's go back to
passing bills, delivering for people, and let's get the Democratic
Party back in kick Trump's ass.

Speaker 18 (01:09:52):
You know, I was gonna say, what ald you talk
about his economic populism? Oh yeah, but how realistic is that?
Because people always say this stuff and then even when
they get in a position it's there's so much you
got to fight through so many different tiers of like
the House, and you know the people that don't agree.

Speaker 6 (01:10:06):
So how realistic is it? And what does that time
that look like?

Speaker 18 (01:10:07):
Because when you were saying it, I'm not gonna say
it in my time here, it's gonna be generation generations.

Speaker 7 (01:10:12):
Yeah, Lauren, I love that question. Okay, because you're right,
that's exactly the question everybody should ask. Okay, because Democrats
get in and then they never do it right, and
so I get super frustrated. First thing they took out
of the bill, the COVID relief bill under Biden, was
fifteen dollars minute wage. Now, if you do fifteen dollar
minute wage, you not only raise people's wages to the
tune of about ninety two billion dollars, right, that goes

(01:10:34):
from the richest people in the country, the people who
need it the most, who are working, right, but you
also raise the wages above that. And then whenever you
go to do that, they go, oh, no, you can't
do that because that will drive up inflation.

Speaker 2 (01:10:45):
No, inflation is already here.

Speaker 7 (01:10:46):
I need my wages to go up to keep up
with it, right, So why don't we ever pass any
of those things because of the donor class. So look,
you know, if you're a Democrat, I hate to break
it to you. Right, So if you're a Republican, I
got terrible news for you, okay, But if you're a Democrat,
I got bad news, which is that Biden and all
those guys they never meant it. They never That's why
they took fifteen dollar minum wage right out of the bill.
So why are we different a no corporate donors. No

(01:11:10):
candidate is allowed to take corporate pac money if they're
with rebellion pack. And so so far we got Rocanna,
the first guy who said no corporate pac money at all,
and he's awesome, and he's the one that worked with
Bernie to get fifteen dollar minum wage at Amazon. And
when they first started that, they're like, oh, you're not
gonna be able to pressure Amazon. You don't have any power.
What are you guys gonna do? You progressive? You know,

(01:11:31):
you're always rebel rousing. And guess what they got fifteen
dollar minum wage at Amazon. Right, So Roseman delivering throughout. Now,
we got Richard O. Jetta running in North Carolina.

Speaker 2 (01:11:39):
Nine.

Speaker 7 (01:11:39):
That brother almost beat somebody in West Virginia when he
was down fifty when that's a R plus fifty four.
So what but when we get in Lauren, if we
don't deliver likes here, I'll put the first one up
on the board. Paid family leave, so that's twelve weeks
off from moms after they have a baby.

Speaker 6 (01:11:55):
I've had to use that.

Speaker 18 (01:11:56):
Yeah, no, I have a baby, but my mom was sick,
so I had to use pay family leave.

Speaker 2 (01:11:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:12:00):
You know that eighty five percent of Americans don't have
paid family leave.

Speaker 2 (01:12:04):
Yeah, I mean that's crazy not to have.

Speaker 7 (01:12:06):
You got to go back to work the next day,
or you gotta burn all your vacation time, all your
sick time. It's so unfair. So that pulls at eighty
four percent. What that means is the Democrats and Republicans
are full of crap. If you can't pass something that
said eighty four percent, you're not trying, okay. So what
we're gonna do if we win is we're gonna try,
and we're gonna try like hell, and we're gonna kick
out whoever is in our path, whether they're Republicans or Democrats.

(01:12:28):
So if they want to come cry about it, no problem.
We're populous. We're ready to kick their ass. So it's
not like, oh yeah, like the old days, I'll go
will be so kind to our colleagues. Our colleagues are
so precious. Now your colleagues aren't that precious. They're the
ones who killed.

Speaker 2 (01:12:40):
All these bills.

Speaker 7 (01:12:41):
So I demand accountability for our candidates. I'll do the accountability.
If they throw any of these bills under the bus,
then we're gonna kick them out of the group. But
they're not going to because they're great guys and we
got another guy coming on May first too.

Speaker 1 (01:12:53):
I think everything that's just saying is great. I just
feel like it is four years too late. And what
I mean by that is we're talking as if we're
in normal times, as if the midterms are just gonna
come and we're just gonna go vote, and you know,
put the people in a twenty twenty eight is just
gonna come and we're just gonna go vote. They're already
telling us what they're planning to do. They want Trump

(01:13:14):
to run for a third term. I'm just don't think.
I don't think these normal ways of doing things are
gonna be able to combat what is currently in the
White House. And I don't think we understand that yet
because it's just talk.

Speaker 2 (01:13:27):
Yeah, when they.

Speaker 1 (01:13:27):
Actually do the things that they stay they're doing, definite,
everybody's gonna realize, like, oh wait, so we don't.

Speaker 2 (01:13:32):
Have fan fair elections no more.

Speaker 7 (01:13:34):
Yeah, so sear me a couple of layers, right, So
first off, we're the only ones as far as I
can see, that's actually got a plan, right, So like,
and I encourage everybody else, like, if you don't like
our plan, great, if you're a Democrat, come up with
a different plan, right, and then plant your flag like
we're doing, and say, hey, you know I'm for this
or I'm for that. We're saying we're for economic possiblis
and we're gonna win back Congress. So step one in

(01:13:56):
beating Trump and also taking over the Democratic parties.

Speaker 2 (01:13:59):
You gotta win these elects if they're free and fair
live right.

Speaker 7 (01:14:01):
So now, Charlotte, mean to the point you're making, So,
why were you and I opposed to Trump? We were
posting him because we were worried that he was gonna
do authoritarian crap like this. Why did you and I
worry about Joe Biden? Not because we hate Joe Biden,
but because we were worried he was gonna lose to Trump.
That's right, and unfortunately we were right about all of that. Right,
So okay, now what's the next step. So I've gone

(01:14:22):
on every kind of show. So I'm here on breakfast slow,
but I've gone on you know, Patrick m David and
Tim Poole and David pac Man and Brian Tyler Cone.
So every left, right, everything in between, right, breaking points,
et cetera. Right, So what I see from the right
in that is some of them are hardcore maga guys,
and if Trump says and the Constitution, they are lighted
on fire. But half of them are just bros, and

(01:14:43):
they're like, wait, why are we burning the constitution? I
thought we were in favor of the Constitution. So you're
beginning to see that. When I first said that, people
are like, oh, get out of here. There's no way.
Every Trump voters racist, fascist, et cetera. But wait, and
then all of a sudden, Trump burns up the stock market,
and Dave Portnoy, who supported Trump, is out there going.

Speaker 2 (01:15:01):
What the hell, I just lost twenty million dollars.

Speaker 7 (01:15:03):
Okay, I don't like this. I don't like this, and
I don't blame him. You know, I don't have the
twenty million to lose, but I know i'd be mad. Okay,
So that's financial. You go to Rogan, and Rogan's like, wait, wait, wait, wait,
what are we getting ready to do process for? Why
are we locking people up without even bringing them to
a court. What part of that is America? And it
is in America?

Speaker 4 (01:15:22):
Right?

Speaker 1 (01:15:22):
You got candas always talking about them taking away freedom
of speech.

Speaker 7 (01:15:27):
Yeah, yeah, So and look you're seeing on behalf of
Israel they're snatching up people off the streets, and so
that's I mean, it doesn't get any more. Cancel culture,
then I'm gonna arrest you with massive men, I'm gonna
deport you. I mean, that's canceling your life, right, And
so they cancel their diplomas, et cetera. So I see
all that, But my point to you, Charlemagne is that
you'd be surprised at how many other people see that.

(01:15:48):
So he came in at around fifty percent, which is
as high as he's ever been. Boom last poll out
he's down to forty opposes fifty nine percent. He's already
in a nineteen point hole and he's going out. So
if he goes to cancel elections, for example. I wouldn't
put anything past them, right, But at that point, it's
not just going to be us on the left, and
it's not just.

Speaker 2 (01:16:08):
Gonna be minorities.

Speaker 7 (01:16:10):
It's gonna be people like Rogan and others who go, no, no,
no no. We signed up for lower prices, we signed
up for closing the border, We signed up for some
of the things you or I might agree with or
disagree with, but we didn't sign.

Speaker 2 (01:16:21):
Up for this. But then what happened when he starts
locking up the media.

Speaker 7 (01:16:24):
Yeah, so look, here's your bell weather. Okay, he locks
me up. We're in a lot of trouble.

Speaker 2 (01:16:30):
Okay, but here I am on the front lines. I
oppose him one hundred percent.

Speaker 7 (01:16:34):
I'm doing a democratic movement to make sure he loses
in Congress. I'm Muslim, I'm a huge critic of Israel,
and I'm a naturalized citizen. Okay, So if anyone's on
the front line, I'm at the very very front of that.

Speaker 2 (01:16:46):
Line, and I'm saying, come get me. So I'm ok
don't say that. Don't give my reason.

Speaker 22 (01:16:53):
No.

Speaker 7 (01:16:53):
My point is, though, guys, if we all panic, we're
not gonna get anything done.

Speaker 2 (01:16:57):
I agree with that. Okay, so let's all stay come,
let's do a plan.

Speaker 7 (01:17:01):
I guess here I am with a plan to actually
take power away from him in twenty twenty six. If
you got a better plan, I'm all ears. But what
I can't have is no plan.

Speaker 2 (01:17:11):
How we got molways yank yoga, when we come back,
don't move. It's the breakfast club, Good Morning owning.

Speaker 3 (01:17:15):
Everybody is the DJ Envy Jess, Hilarry Charlamage, the god
we are the breakfast club. Lawn LaRosa is here as well.
It's still kicking away yank Yuga Lauren.

Speaker 18 (01:17:24):
So if all goes well and everybody that you want
and gets in yard, but to start moving and doing
all these things, there's going to be times whe y'all
gonna have disappoint people because everything can't happen the way
they need to. How do they handle that? Because I
think that's another thing that happens with Democrats. They make
it seem like they're never going to disappoint, and then
they do, and then they don't know how to come
back from it.

Speaker 6 (01:17:40):
You said that right now.

Speaker 18 (01:17:41):
Trump his message and everything was good, but he is
doing horrible when it comes to the terror terrors.

Speaker 6 (01:17:46):
He's blowing it. It's what you said.

Speaker 2 (01:17:47):
Yeah, he is.

Speaker 18 (01:17:48):
Sticking to his ground on like, this is what we
need to do. We might lose some people in the
midst of it, but it'll make for better according to him,
Later y'all might have to do that too. Then what
happens because people will say, you guys are blowing it
at that point.

Speaker 7 (01:17:58):
Yeah, So, first off, Trump isn't really steening to what
he said. He said global tariffs for everyone or at
ridiculous comical levels, and we're like, what the I don't
mind tariffs, Like you could protect certain industries with tariffs,
right and rebuild manufacturing, So it's not crazy.

Speaker 2 (01:18:14):
To do some tariffs, right.

Speaker 7 (01:18:15):
But when he announced, oh, I'm going to do like
these unbelievable, never heard of before tariffs all across the world,
we're all like.

Speaker 2 (01:18:22):
What are you doing? That's crazy?

Speaker 7 (01:18:24):
Right, So then he took that back, and then he
had one hundred and forty five percent tariffs on China
and we're like, you know what iPhones are going.

Speaker 2 (01:18:30):
To cost if you do that. Then he took that back.

Speaker 7 (01:18:33):
So now he's down to still stupid tariffs on China
because they're so gigantic that they're not productive. Right now,
you now flip it back on us, right, So what happens,
number one, if we do something wrong? Just like ro Kana,
He's like, hey, listen, we we do. We fight for
what's right. If it turns out we weren't right, then
you bring it back. So there's no shame in saying, hey,
we tried our best, we tried this, and you guys

(01:18:55):
said you didn't love it, So then we're going to next.
So why do we pick like those six bills right,
anti war money out of politics, et cetera. Because those
are super popular, they're all above two thirds. So if
our guys getting into Congress in twenty twenty six, what
we're gonna say is not just Republicans, but Democrats too,
why are you all preventing a bill that's aid eighty

(01:19:15):
four percent? Why are you all such radicals that you're
in the sixteen percent. So because mainstream media will say, oh,
paid family leave, that is a radical progressive idea. No,
nobody can pass out the filibuster the parliamentarian right. Yeah,
And I'm like, no, no, no, no, no, sixteen percent is radical.

Speaker 2 (01:19:33):
Eighty four percent is not radical. This whole country wants it's.

Speaker 7 (01:19:36):
Seventy four percent of Republicans want it, over ninety percent
of Democrats wanted, over eighty percent of independence want it. Now,
if we can't pass something, we're at an impass Why
because the corporate donors are gonna come in. They're gonna
buy the mansones and the cinemas. Even if they're out,
there's gonna be new mansions of cinemas, et cetera. What
are we gonna do. We're gonna start calling people out.
So that's what you've never seen in.

Speaker 2 (01:19:54):
Politics, right, especially in the Democratic fact. No Trump did it, Yeah,
that's right, help them do it.

Speaker 18 (01:19:58):
And that's kind of what I mean by not like
he's doing what he said he was gonna do because
he does what he wants. I just mean that like
when if he says he wants something and it doesn't
go his way, he calls people out, he does he
sends a flairs, scare, tact, lose in the midst of it.

Speaker 6 (01:20:11):
That's what I meant by that. Oh and the hats
don't do that at all.

Speaker 18 (01:20:14):
Like they play this like pr You can't scare, you
can't ruffle a feather. God is good, Everything is love.
That's how we handle issues.

Speaker 1 (01:20:22):
I had to get the VP to call out Cinema.
I tried to get her to call out Mansion. I
tried to get all the Democrats to do it. They
just would not do it for whatever reason. So I
know the reason.

Speaker 7 (01:20:30):
And Lauren, that's such again a great question, right, because
if we don't call people out, you can't get it done.
So it's like Trump is terrible on policy, but on strategy,
I get it right. So like the Democrats say, oh,
you can't just intimidate people into voting your right, What
do you mean I just saw Trump do it. I
just saw Trump do it like twelve times. I've seen
Trump do it now time and time again. What do

(01:20:52):
you mean you can't do it. No, it's not that
you can't do it's that you don't want to do it. Right,
And Lauren, they take that like God is good, all
that auted time dude as.

Speaker 2 (01:21:00):
A cover story.

Speaker 7 (01:21:01):
Oh we're so nice, We're so nice that we can't
call out our colleagues. That would be mean. But in reality,
they're both taking the same donor money. Right, Mainstream media
never calls them out and Democrats never called them out.
We're calling them out. We're calling them out. You hear
me saying it about cinema mansion. You hear me and
Charlotte talking about it. Hakeem Jeffries, Chuck Schumer talking about
billionaire buddies. He's like doing talking points like, oh, Republicans,

(01:21:24):
they're billionaire buddies. O. Hey, brother, come on, come on man,
how many billionaire bodies do you have? Exactly right, So
if you don't call them out, you're never going to
get anything done. That's the one thing Trump is right about.
So let's get our guy in. But that, unlike Trump,
isn't just for himself, but if for once, for once,
actually looks out for all of us.

Speaker 1 (01:21:45):
I love this idea. I love what you're doing. I
love what David Hodge is doing. I think it's fantastic.
You know, yeah, I just tell him how to.

Speaker 7 (01:21:52):
Support all Right, So, first of all, rebellionpac dot com.
Since we're not taking corporate money, we need a lot
of grassroots donors. Last time, for just Democrats, the Young
Turks audience raised two and a half million dollars. This time,
let's double it, right, Let's get these guys some real juice,
and we're gonna get them on all the shows and
all the podcasts, get their voice out there. They're not afraid,
they're not afraid. They love their message. They want to

(01:22:14):
tell their message. Okay, so rebellionpac dot com. But also volunteer, right,
and also if you can, if you want to, and
we've already I announced it yesterday, already a bunch of
people going through the candidate process. So that's how we
find folks. But we can't run everybody. You know, you
got to be judicious and you got to find the
best people. So I don't want to give people false hope.
You got to come correct and you've got to be great.

Speaker 2 (01:22:34):
Right.

Speaker 7 (01:22:35):
But if you're doing that and you're an honest person,
Rebellion pack dot com, we're gonna at least consider you.

Speaker 2 (01:22:40):
Where as the Democratic Party wouldn't.

Speaker 7 (01:22:42):
Then the other way is just keep up with young turks,
like we're on on YouTube six o'clock every night, six' eight,
O'clock me And, anna, right and so we're gonna.

Speaker 2 (01:22:50):
Give news about all the updates and, stuff and then we're.

Speaker 7 (01:22:53):
Gonna i'm sure have amazing people join our advisory board
to help us, win like Maybe Charlotte.

Speaker 2 (01:22:58):
Mane NO i would do. That yeah that makes.

Speaker 7 (01:23:01):
Sense, okay, yeah let's let's talk about. IT i would love, that,
right and we got some other folks that are interested
in joining the advisory board THAT i think would be.
Amazing let's get a wide variety right everywhere. Everyone charlotte
made from you to, LIKE i Want Harvard law Professor
Larry less, again he's a godfather of money in, politics
get money out of. Politics and so let's get, smart

(01:23:24):
passionate people to actually overcome the system that we have.
Here and so, look if you give, up they. Win
if you stay on your, couch they. Win but if
you get up and, try look, PROTESTS i love. It
it needs a step two and this is step.

Speaker 14 (01:23:38):
Two.

Speaker 7 (01:23:39):
Right step two is we actually go win and take Back.
Congress step three is we go take over The Democratic
party and win the country over and actually pass the.

Speaker 2 (01:23:47):
Bills. Right but step one's. Great get in the game.

Speaker 7 (01:23:49):
Somehow, right make some, noise volunteer for a rebellion, pack
go to, protests or you you heard somebody's got a better.
Idea do that, idea but get in the, game because
then minute you sit down and, lose, hope is the
minute they.

Speaker 2 (01:24:03):
Win tell them where to find you May So Young

Morning everybody is the J Envy jess, Hilarious charlamagne the.

Speaker 2 (01:24:36):
Guy we are the Breakfast. Club let's get to the
latest With. Lauren lauren becoming a straight. Thing she gets
them from somebody that knows somebody get the.

Speaker 6 (01:24:44):
Detail i'm a long guard that knows a little bit about.

Speaker 2 (01:24:47):
Everything she'd be having the latest on.

Speaker 7 (01:24:49):
You the.

Speaker 2 (01:24:52):
Latest With lauren La.

Speaker 1 (01:24:53):
Rosa sometimes you have, fact sometimes you have, details sometimes
you have a little bit of.

Speaker 2 (01:24:56):
Everything it's the latest on The Breakfast club.

Speaker 6 (01:24:59):
Talk so did he you Know chial's coming?

Speaker 18 (01:25:03):
Up so his lawyers are laying out what uh kind
of his his big defense will Be so did he
recently rejected a plea? Deal and when he rejected the plea,
deal they're arguing that he's a, swinger but he's not a.
Criminal now, okay so what was the plea?

Speaker 2 (01:25:21):
Deal did we know what the plea deal?

Speaker 5 (01:25:22):
WAS i want to get into, it just.

Speaker 18 (01:25:29):
Okay, so so did he rejected a plea deal that
the federal prosecutors offered? Him and now because of, this,
uh they're positioning him as a swinger AS i, mentioned,
Right so in court On, friday there was a hearing
that happened and it was about a different a bunch
of different. Topics so according To Rolling, stone they said
the prosecutor said that they did offer him a plea,

(01:25:50):
deal but he flatly denied.

Speaker 6 (01:25:52):
It he didn't want anything to do about, it do with.

Speaker 18 (01:25:54):
It there was no details of the plea deal that
came Out, envy but it is believed that did he
was offered, one and people do believe, that Like Roland
son is not like lying about, this like this is.

Speaker 6 (01:26:03):
True but the reason why people was like is know
what this is?

Speaker 18 (01:26:05):
True because everybody feels like if he's pushing for court,
right LIKE i was told he really wants.

Speaker 6 (01:26:10):
To go to court now he. Did he didn't want anything.

Speaker 18 (01:26:11):
Delay he's actually happy that that two month hold didn't.
Happen why wouldn't he just take a plea, deal get
it all over with and figure out how, to you,
know get home off of the.

Speaker 2 (01:26:20):
Plea he's not going on to a plea. Deal plea.
Deal he got plead guilty to.

Speaker 6 (01:26:23):
Something BUT i, mean but you can depending on. What
we don't know, yet BUT i.

Speaker 18 (01:26:28):
Will i'm trying to figure that, out depending on what
the pleae deal, was though it could have been something
that like young thug took a plete deal, TOO.

Speaker 1 (01:26:35):
I was able To and you said it opens them? Up,
civilly did he open bro? Them civil cases is? Open
talking about?

Speaker 2 (01:26:41):
It he already he already getting sued for hundreds of
millions of. Dollars let me.

Speaker 3 (01:26:44):
Open but if he pleads, guilty depending on what the deal,
is it's it's almost like if you plead guilty for,
criminals it's easy and way easy for civil.

Speaker 2 (01:26:52):
Form that's not that's not. TRUE. O. J simpson got
found not guilty and still lost in the civil.

Speaker 3 (01:26:57):
Kiss but with, saying if he pleads, guilty depending on
what the deal is and he says, yes, guilty not
guilty to different.

Speaker 1 (01:27:07):
Things that's not true because a lot of the if
you notice ci yes and if you know, what a
lot of did the civil cases are getting dismissed because
they're not. Strong so just because a criminal case could
be way strong than a civil case.

Speaker 6 (01:27:20):
Could so, no, well in this whatever that plea deal.

Speaker 18 (01:27:23):
Was in the conversations they were having a court On,
Friday diddy's team is arguing that he might have lived
a swinger, lifestyle but he's never done anything inappropriate or,
criminal and that was coming from the head of his legal,
Team Mark. Agnephilio now he said that in the world
that did he lived in as his, mogul this entertainment,
mogul being a swinger was. Common so, Basically diddy is being,

(01:27:44):
prosecuted according to his, team for something that is a common,
lifestyle and that's what they're going to lean into heavily
when he goes to, court which may provide some issues
only because you, know there's a conversation around like people
saying that they were druggs against their their, will you,
know force things that happened to. Them so depending on
who and we still don't, know depending on what their

(01:28:04):
evidence is and who they're, who they're going to have
taken a stand that can completely, flip especially because we
Know cassie's gonna be taking a stand right and if
this finger, lifestyle which she did engage in at some,
points but at some point it turned the other, way
she can testify something completely different like, no it goes beyond.
That so they're taking a gamble at even putting it
out there this this, Early but you gotta kind of
lay the, foundations.

Speaker 5 (01:28:24):
Y'ALL i may have answered, this you may have answered
this question, before but the fact that she settled with, him, Right,
LIKE i didn't know that that was. Possible you can
settle with, somebody you can get, paid and, like you
settle with them and then they can still turn around
and be a.

Speaker 18 (01:28:38):
Witness it's because she was subpoena by a federal, court
so like you can have a, settlement but if a
federal court is saying credit like, these it's, yeah she was,
subpoena so she kind of didn't really have a. Choice
but you know WHAT i, Mean LIKE i just.

Speaker 6 (01:28:54):
DID i didn't know that work like.

Speaker 3 (01:28:57):
That but, okay and then when you once you're. Subpoena
she has to tell a t and if she does,
it she could get in.

Speaker 18 (01:29:01):
Trouble yeah, yeah, yeah so, yeah they talked about a
bunch of different, stuff but that's going to be his,
Defense so we'll see how that works out for.

Speaker 4 (01:29:11):
Him.

Speaker 6 (01:29:12):
Now in other, News Ryan, Kugler So Ryan Cougler centers.

Speaker 18 (01:29:15):
Is still you know WHAT i, Mean zennon and the
numbers are still going.

Speaker 2 (01:29:19):
Crazy crazy amount of. Money so it's.

Speaker 18 (01:29:23):
Earns forty five million dollars in his second weekend with
the release with ticket sales. Only ticket sell was only
falling six percent from the first. Weekend it's forty eight
forty eight million dollar opening which happened that first, weekend
so it's still making. Numbers But Ryan coogler has been
doing interviews in a bunch of different, ways like talking
about the creative and the photo and the film and
how it was. Shot we talked about that in, Here

(01:29:44):
but he sat down with a platform and had a
conversation about a ton of different. Things but they brought
up his deal and you could tell he was kind of,
like over the, conversation let's take a.

Speaker 23 (01:29:52):
Listening i'm not the first FILM i could get any
of these, deals you, Know And Warner brothers is not
the first studio to provide these deals to a, filmmaker you,
Know LIKE i think THAT i think that a lot
has been made of my deal in, Particular i'm not
totally sure, why you, Know like, like, UH i have

(01:30:14):
MY i have my, guesses you, know But i've been
in any string long enough to know what kind of
deals are, possible and nothing about this deal is a new.

Speaker 2 (01:30:25):
Thing but as he, said he's defending, it Though, ryan he's.
Not let me tell What ryan is. Doing ryan is
throwing an. Alley You you know.

Speaker 1 (01:30:32):
Why people are making a big deal about, This, ryan because.

Speaker 2 (01:30:35):
You're, black and you're. Black.

Speaker 1 (01:30:37):
Black you're a black man From oakland who does not
code switch in no, way shape or. Form you enter
the rooms, black you talk, black you move. Black that's
why they're making a big deal of, it because they
can't believe a nigger got that kind of.

Speaker 2 (01:30:50):
Deal was an interviewer asking like in a negative.

Speaker 18 (01:30:53):
Way the interview was she wasn't asking another negative. Way
he was sitting down with the democracy. Now but she
did spend a lot of time breaking down like this
is what they, did and this is why it's monumental
and this Is he's like he basically was on something like.
Yeah she was like he's basically on some type time like,
okay but like that's what. Happens this is business AND
i BASICALLY i handled my.

Speaker 6 (01:31:12):
Business so what are you talking?

Speaker 5 (01:31:13):
About and you're trying to take her out figure it.
Out she's trying to figure out how it.

Speaker 18 (01:31:16):
Happened she's just they're making it seem like it's LIKE i,
mean it is monuments and it's amazing to, see but
they're making it seem like. Monumentus, Yes and they're making
it seem like like he changed the trajectory of like
how studios are going to receive money and basically taking
money out of their pockets and like he's changing something
when he's, LIKE i.

Speaker 6 (01:31:36):
Didn't they can't.

Speaker 2 (01:31:36):
Believe they gave a black man that kind of.

Speaker 1 (01:31:38):
Deal you mean in twenty five, years ownership of this
movie is going to go back to this black. Man
you mean to tell me that this black man has
first gross rights and this movie has made one hundred
and sixty one million dollars.

Speaker 2 (01:31:51):
Worldwide so they they in the black now and it's
only been out for two weeks.

Speaker 18 (01:31:56):
Exactly the budget was ninety million for the, film and
the initial projection when people were, hating they thought they
was only going to make thirty five dollars.

Speaker 1 (01:32:03):
Sony ninety million for the production. Budget you probably put
another thirty forty in marketing and, promotions and they're at one.

Speaker 2 (01:32:10):
Sixty they way out of the.

Speaker 18 (01:32:12):
Red that's at this point one hundred black black on black.

Speaker 6 (01:32:15):
Black while you was mad At monumentus of it.

Speaker 5 (01:32:19):
Before, NO i never heard that word before you did
any of that word when you received your honorary.

Speaker 2 (01:32:23):
Degree i've Heard i've heard, monumental But i've never heard.
Monumentals yeah you.

Speaker 6 (01:32:28):
Can it's ohe yous at the, end great. Importance they
don't teach those words and remedial.

Speaker 2 (01:32:32):
Classes, yeah yes what, yes, yes.

Speaker 1 (01:32:37):
Yes and and by the, Way, lauren don't be in
here acting like you don't be making up words, exactly
but that.

Speaker 6 (01:32:42):
Word is so, regular like you MADE i heard that?

Speaker 2 (01:32:45):
Word, why, no.

Speaker 6 (01:32:49):
Idea word DID i make?

Speaker 18 (01:32:50):
Up BECAUSE i do be just saying, stuff yes you,
do BUT i said it was so much conviction that
like yes you just we just let.

Speaker 2 (01:32:57):
Church so my.

Speaker 3 (01:32:58):
Goodness all, Right well that is the latest With lauren
take you, lord and the.

Speaker 2 (01:33:02):
Fact that in be googled it you didn't know it
was a goddamn word.

Speaker 5 (01:33:05):
Either, YEAH i was't say, monumental she said it was
so much poised THOUGH i knew it was. Real lauren
don't know a. Word she would be, LIKE i don't know.
It it's a monumental. Deal she was, like, monumentous hold,
on hold, on.

Speaker 2 (01:33:20):
Hold, on.

Speaker 1 (01:33:21):
MONUMENTOUS i just looked it. Up monumentis is not a
recognized word in Standard english, dictionaries despite its use. Online
it's often used as a combination of monumental and, momentous
both of which are.

Speaker 2 (01:33:34):
Valid words with similar. Meanings so it's not actually.

Speaker 18 (01:33:37):
A, word my definition, says although not in all, dictionaries
it is a word. That, yes it uses the meaning of.
MONUMENTAL i learned the dang word in, school.

Speaker 2 (01:33:46):
Y'ALL i don't think it's a.

Speaker 1 (01:33:47):
Word she. Did hold, On i'm gonna send this to
the group chat and literally says apparently monumentus isn't a real.
Word microsoft word doesn't recognize, it and dictionaries are saying
it's a made up word combining monumental and.

Speaker 2 (01:34:03):
Momentous, yes that's not a. Word you just made that.
Up That's, Delaware delaware education ladies and.

Speaker 5 (01:34:08):
