Speaker 1 (00:02):
What's up and welcome. This is the Rogue Recap, and
you are here with your host, Linda McLaughlin. She is pissed, off, outraged,
and has zero patience with what seems to be an
epidemic of entitlement and stupidity. Here we talk about all
the things the other shows just don't or won't touch.
(00:23):
Make sure to like and subscribe to her podcast so
you never miss an episode.
Speaker 2 (00:28):
Yeah, so tonight we're definitely going to be focusing on
that stupidity, and it is something that everybody is talking about. Unfortunately,
there's such an abundance of negative news, whether we're talking
about Antifa and the President's roundtable on the yesterday with
independent Journalists, which I thought was pretty incredible, or we're
(00:49):
talking about Letitia James, which I don't know when you're
listening to this podcast, but I'm recording it on Thursday,
October ninth, and Leticia James was indicted today for mortgage fraud,
and everybody say, oh, who cares mortgage fraud? I'm like, well,
you know, she is the person who literally based her
entire campaign. Her promises to her donors was that she
(01:12):
was going to get Trump and wasted. I can't even
imagine how many millions of dollars New York City tax
paying dollars in addition to the amount of money that
we were spending on illegal immigrants and the rise of
radical Islam. But different show. But regardless, she was indicted today,
and everybody is talking about all of these things. We're
discussing what is happening. But we've had several hearings, you know,
(01:37):
Senate and congressional hearings before a few different committees. And
I think the thing that I find the most upsetting
and what really just drives me nuts is when people
just assume you're really dumb. And when I think about
former head of the FBI, Christopher Ray, there is no
(01:59):
greater manipult later than this guy. Right, He's he's got
the waspy haircut, he's got all the right answers, and
he is lying to everyone. It's I mean, some people say, oh,
you're lying out of both sides of your mouth. I
think he's lying. You know, six Ways to Sunday. I
have never experienced somebody who is attacking anything in everything
(02:24):
that is America, whether you're just a regular average joe
who loves America, whether you're a practicing Catholic. He definitely
had a full investigation and some sort of deep state
operative on Catholics. You know, he's standing and sitting before
the committee with his family behind him, and he's talking
about how he believes in the Constitution and he's a
(02:46):
man of integrity, and anyone who would ever question that
doesn't know anything.
Speaker 3 (02:50):
I mean, it's just such.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
A load of shit.
Speaker 3 (02:53):
Just stop.
Speaker 2 (02:55):
Just say you're bought and paid for and that you're
going to do things the way you want to do them.
And if anybody's got a problem with that, they can
take it up with the next guy, because you're not
going to do it any differently. I would have more
respect if you were a snarky asshole like Letitia James's
than the way you're acting now, that kind of stuff
(03:15):
that like and James come me's the same way. Also
just indicted under Trump and everybody's freaking out about that.
Oh it's weaponization. This is a complete and utter disgrace.
I can't believe that we're doing this. This is just
him going after his enemies. And it's like, actually, no,
it's not that.
Speaker 3 (03:34):
This is the opposite of that.
Speaker 2 (03:36):
This is him going after the people who literally were
trying to get to the bottom of things like Ukraine,
like Russia, like COVID, misappropriation of funds, all these different
things and everything that we tried to get to the
bottom of. Underneath Joe Biden and before him, Barack Obama,
we couldn't do it because they didn't want to allow it.
Speaker 3 (03:59):
So let's just walk down memory lane.
Speaker 2 (04:02):
I found this guy. His handle is the Magga King
two point zero, which I think is pretty funny TMK
for short. But he took the time to go and
put a list of all of the Republicans that were arrested. Okay,
not just spied on, not just we talked trash about
them for a little bit. These were people that were
(04:23):
actually arrested under Joe Biden's administration for no other reason
than politics, and pardon the pun, trumped up charges because
they didn't have anything concrete. But they didn't need it
because they had scumbags like Komi and Ray who were
doing all their dirty work and making sure that if
something wasn't there, they could put something there that could
(04:46):
potentially be the intimation from it could be X. And
if you wanted to be X, you better believe Dan
Well they were going to make sure of it. So
here's a short list.
Speaker 3 (04:57):
I'm not going to.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
Read it all to you because it's very long. We'll
start with Donald Trump. Then we have Walt Nauta, Carlos Dia, Lavieira,
Steve Bennon, Peter Navarro, Tom Barrack, Matthew Grimes, Rudy Giuliani,
Mark Meadows, John Eastman, Kenneth Cheesebro, Sidney Palell, Jenna Ellis,
(05:20):
Scott Graham Hall, Sean Still, David, James Schaeffer, Kathy Latham,
Jeff Clark, Trivia and Cootie, Robert Cheeley Harrison, William Prescott, Floyd.
I mean, the list.
Speaker 3 (05:36):
Goes on and on and on.
Speaker 2 (05:40):
There's got to be I mean, I'm scrolling through it
right now.
Speaker 3 (05:44):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (05:46):
There's got to be forty names just right here of
people here arrested. And then twelve hundred and sixty five
January sixth defendants, which now that they're releasing the hours
of tape that either they couldn't find went missing, all
the things that were erased by the J six Committee
under the lead Henchman Liz Cheney.
Speaker 3 (06:06):
No, I mean, what an ass. But can you.
Speaker 2 (06:09):
Imagine running a committee and just losing everything. All of
the testimony gone, all of the evidence gone, all of
the recordings gone. And you have all these people. You've
raided their homes, You've raided their phones. We just found
out that the Biden administration was spying on eight sitting
senators and congress members.
Speaker 3 (06:29):
I mean, it's ridiculous.
Speaker 2 (06:31):
Can you imagine if the left found out that Donald
Trump was spying on I don't know, let's just name
a few, right, Schumer, Polosi, Gavin Newsom, Pritzker, Brandon Johnson, Right,
just anybody on the left that he didn't agree with,
which is basically everybody but.
Speaker 3 (06:52):
Some of the headliners.
Speaker 2 (06:53):
Imagine what they would have heard on phone calls and
text messages that those individuals had in their private lives.
And now you're telling me that the Biden administration was
listening in and had these illegal spying techniques and everybody knew.
It's such This is one of the things that I
(07:15):
really find I don't know, I'm I'm trying to figure out.
It's even like with the stand down order in Chicago.
It's the same type of thing where you know, they
say I never said that, I never said that the
police should not go and should not support you know,
Ice and shouldn't be there. I never said that. You know,
this is the chief of police and in Chicago. And
(07:36):
then they play the call to dispatch that says, you know, hey,
the ICE officers are being surrounded by militant you know,
members of Antifa and Free Palestines gone bags and you know,
we're just trying to get to the bottom of you know,
what's happening here. And they say, no, we're not going
to help them. This is a stand down order and
(07:58):
we're not giving you there's We're just not going to
help you.
Speaker 3 (08:01):
We can't do it.
Speaker 2 (08:02):
So you're telling me, as an officer that you feel
good about this, How is that even possible? These are
the things that I struggle with because I'm like, how
could you ever go against your fellow officer, Like, if
you knew an officer needed you and was surrounded by
(08:24):
the enemy, you don't go to help because Pritsker said no,
I mean, it's just wrong, And there's no part of
these guys that's like, yeah, you're right, we shouldn't have
done that. These are the things that keep me up
at night, that make me wonder what the hell is
wrong with these people? But so I was thinking about
(08:47):
Senator Schmidt, who is formerly the Attorney General of Missouri,
and Senator Schmidt is an incredible, incredible attorney. The guy
is no bullshit, right to the point, and he's incredibly
versed in many areas of the law, not the least
of which is trial law and understanding what you need
(09:08):
to have, you know, sort of in your back pocket
to argue the point. So he was asked the other day,
you know how he felt about President Trump weaponizing his
government against his political foes, And I have to say
he had a terrific answer.
Speaker 3 (09:27):
Take a listen, do you think hist.
Speaker 4 (09:30):
This department is acting politically by going after President Trump
enemy's James Comey senatorship. I mean, I'm glad you ask
the question. Let me make a clear distinction of the
weaponization we saw under Joe Biden. Okay, that is the
weaponization of government. The idea that you would hold people
accountable who weaponize the Justice Department is not the same thing.
(09:50):
So I hope we'll make that clear. And I'm gonna
say that a thousand times. This is not the same thing.
By the way, if President Trump wanted to do that.
He would have done that in his first term against
Hill Clinton and all the people that came at him.
Then that didn't happen. So this Justice Department is abiden
by every single court ruling and they're trying to clean
up a mess that, again was the most dramatic example
(10:12):
of corruption you could ever have in the Department of Justice.
Speaker 2 (10:16):
And just think about that for a minute. They tried
every single way that they could to bring President Trump
up on charges, any way that they could think of.
They tried it and it just didn't stick. And it
didn't stick because he had better attorneys or because of
the fact that he got off on a technicality.
Speaker 3 (10:36):
They never had the evidence. It was literally to scare.
Speaker 2 (10:40):
Him into silence, into subversion, to make him not continue
his quest to become president again. But see, the issue
was is most of these people are pretty dumb, and
they either have never operated a business, they've never worked
in any sort of private capacity. They hire lawyers that
(11:01):
have always worked with government, so they're used to things
going a certain way.
Speaker 3 (11:06):
But Donald Trump doesn't go the same way everybody else goes.
Speaker 2 (11:09):
So when they started to look for evidence of malfeasance
or evidence of wrongdoing or evidence of corruption or cheating,
or they can't find it because it's not there. You
may not like the way that Donald Trump says something.
You may not like the way he approaches I don't
like everything that he says, but I like ninety eight
(11:30):
percent of it. And I'm sure as hell glad that
he cares more about the people of this country than
the dumbass governors and senators that would really just don't
care about their safety. I mean, these groups are violent
and we're just trying to like get up and down
the street, and the police are arresting us because the
governors are telling them to. I'm like, where is your
(11:50):
call to arms? Is there no part of you that's like,
maybe I should protect this guy. He seems pretty nice.
Oh here's my fellow officer. Maybe he needs an When
I'm going to listen to Pritzker, really, you know, whether
you're listening to Pritzker or whether you're listening to Newsome,
or whether you're listening to Tina whatever her name is
(12:12):
out there in Portland, in Oregon, and it doesn't matter.
They're all the same. They hate Donald Trump more than
they love America and more than they love their constituents,
and there is nothing that any of us who live
in the land of you know, quasi normal, We're.
Speaker 3 (12:30):
Not going to be able to get through. We're just
not and I think that's really part of the problem.
Speaker 2 (12:35):
I want you to listen here. This is Christopher Ray
testifying about the kind of person he is and the
lies that he believes are being told about him.
Speaker 5 (12:47):
I believe to my core that there's only one right
way to do this job, and that is with strict independence.
Buy the book, playing it straight, faithful to the Constitution,
faithful to our laws, and faithful to.
Speaker 1 (13:03):
The best practices of.
Speaker 5 (13:05):
The Institution, without fear, without favoritism, and certainly without regard
to any partisan political influence. That's the commitment that I
brought to my years to duty as a line prosecutor.
That's the commitment that brought to my time as the
(13:26):
head of the Criminal Division. That's the commitment that I
think the American people rightly expect of the FBI director.
And that's the commitment I would make to this committee
and to the country if confirmed. And I have way
way way too much respect and affection, frankly, for the
men and women of the FBI to do anything less
(13:47):
than that. And I would just say, anybody who thinks
that I would be pulling punches as the FBI director
sure doesn't know me very well.
Speaker 3 (13:58):
I think we know you very well, Chris.
Speaker 2 (14:00):
I think you're somebody who knows how to play the
game and tie his tie and comba's hair right so.
Speaker 3 (14:05):
That he can do all of the dirty deeds that
he's doing.
Speaker 2 (14:08):
In the background, there's a guy on ex Joel Fisher,
and he makes an excellent point about this very statement
that Christopher Ray was making before Charles Grassley, and he
just highlights a couple of simple things. He said, you
know this guy quote. This is Joel Fisher speaking. This
(14:29):
guy had Hunter Biden's hard drive for three months, but
he rather let the country go through a sham, fake impeachment.
He sent his guys to raid the president's home in Florida. Now,
mind you, this is the same guy who had the
following items in his possession and we as American citizens
never heard boo about it. Number one, he had the
(14:51):
twenty twenty election server. Number two, he had Huma Aberdeen's laptop.
Number three he had Seth Richards laptop. And if you
don't remember Seth rich. He was somebody who worked for
Hillary Clinton and was murdered on a DC street on
a particular night where the TV and the security film
for that night disappeared and nobody was allowed to ask
(15:14):
questions about it. And it was before people were getting
killed the where they are now. It was a little
more shocking, which is really sad to say that it's
gotten worse. He lied to Congress about January sixth, which
he did. He knew that there were undercover agents in there.
He knew that stuff was not right. He knew he
had his guys on the inside, and he knew that
(15:35):
the average person. I mean, my god, my own church
went down with a bus. You know, they're there to
pray for the president. These are not people that are
going down for an insurrection. You had your guys down there.
You had your guys breaking windows and telling people to
come in and opening back doors. And I'll tell you what,
through the prism of history, this decade of our lives
(15:58):
from Obama to Trump is like it's something out of
a movie. I will never be able to explain this
to people. You'd have to live through it, right, which
I guess is how everybody is, like, oh, remember this,
Remember that this is going to be one of those things.
Remember when everybody wore a mask and thought it did something.
Remember when everybody took an untested vaccine and shot it
(16:19):
in themselves and their kids and everybody started geting mile
carditis and dying. Remember when Fauci disappeared and he wasn't
there anymore. Remember when we found you know, the son
of the president with crack pipes and hookers and all
of the evidence.
Speaker 3 (16:32):
For it, but he never went to jail.
Speaker 2 (16:35):
Remember when Joe Biden lost his mind. It looked like
he took a crap in his own pants while giving
a dress with another world leader. Remember when they went
and rated Marl Largo. Oh yeah, and guess what they
went through Malania's underwear drawer. Really, these are the things
that you'll look back on and say, why were we
okay with this?
Speaker 3 (16:55):
Why did we not speak out? Why did we not call.
Speaker 2 (16:59):
Our senators state and local as well as national? I mean,
what the hell? You have to ask yourself what is enough?
Because I know I've had enough. I'm really sick and
tired of it. I cannot believe that we are questioning
senators about a weaponization. I just listed off to you
(17:22):
every single person that was arrested, that worked with or
under President Trump, and then all of the evidence they
had against Democrat leaders and how they withheld it.
Speaker 3 (17:33):
You're not seeing that in the reverse, no way.
Speaker 2 (17:36):
And if you did, forget about it. Do you know
how much media coverage is being spent on Komy, how
much media coverage is being spent on Tis James, on
all of the things. The Antifa violence is zero on
mainstream media.
Speaker 3 (17:52):
If you're not on X, you're not seeing anything.
Speaker 2 (17:55):
These people that are out there and they're voting for
these lunatic liberal women like Mikey Cheryl in New Jersey
and Abigail Spamberger in Virginia, What.
Speaker 3 (18:08):
The hell is wrong with you?
Speaker 2 (18:10):
I mean, you have to be able to get away
from yourself for one second and all your liberal bias
and say what kind of world am I leaving for
my kids or my grandkids or my cousins whatever. That's
where we have to be. We have to start to
think forward, because I'll tell you what, we're not going
backwards and present and forward is looking pretty damn scary
on a day to day basis. There's got to be
(18:32):
common sense, There's got to be some kind of normal saying.
And if you don't like that with the word normal,
tough shit. It exists for a reason. Just because something
hurts your feelings doesn't mean it doesn't exist, and it
doesn't mean it can't be said.
Speaker 3 (18:45):
It just means it hurts your feelings. That's all it means.
Speaker 2 (18:49):
This is Linda MacLaughlin.
Speaker 3 (18:50):
