In an unprecedented moment, President Trump spoke before Israel's Knesset after meeting Prime Minister Netanyahu, announcing a peace deal that ends hostilities in Gaza and sees the release of 20 hostages. Sean Hannity, who meticulously covered the events from early morning, frames this as a "historic dawn" the end of terror and the birth of a hopeful, united Middle East. Trump highlighted global cooperation, including key roles by Egypt's General El-Sisi and dozens of Arab and Muslim leaders, all working to disarm Hamas and support Israel's security. Hannity emphasizes guest Trumps global leadership and the worldwide significance of decades-old enemies coming together for stability, prosperity, and a "Board of Peace." This remarkable breakthrough matters as it promises to transform the region and deliver lasting peace, changing the course of history for generations.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Thanks to all of you for being with us. Right
down our toll free telephone number. It's eight hundred and
ninety four one, Shawn. If you want to be a
part of the program. I know most of you probably
got the headlines. And yes, the hostages that have been
held by Hamas and Gaza now are released. We still

(00:20):
are waiting the return of many of the bodies of
those that were killed in captivity or died in captivity.
I'm sure most of them killed in captivity in what
has been a historic day. Basically, you can break this
down into three separate parts. The president's arrival, the president

(00:41):
and speaking before the Kanesset, only the fourth time a
president has done that. Then getting on Air Force one
and heading to Egypt and meeting with General Lcci. I
was shocked when I met General Olcci once and interviewed him, Linda.
I don't know if you remember the interview, but we
needed an interpreter until we started speaking privately, and I

(01:02):
realized he speaks pretty good English, much better than I thought,
and it was I remember being shocked that day that
he knew everything about me. I guess he was brief
before he met me, and he then, of course you
had representatives, you know, from like fifty countries, you know,

(01:22):
a small stamd of the Arab League, Armenia, Jean Bahrain, Canada, Cyprus, Egypt,
the EU, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Japan, Jordan, Kuwait,
as A you know, the Netherlands, Norway, o mom Pakistan, Paraguay, Qatar,

(01:46):
the Saudis, Spain, Turkey, UAE, UK, you and I mean
it just the list goes on and on and on.
And that was the third part of this. The more
remarkable part is when the president got up to speak
in front of all of these world leaders that he was.
He is obviously the most popular guy in the room,

(02:09):
and I would argue that he's probably this force of
nature that comes, you know, and Marco Rubio said up
pretty well, he said, you know, today's one of the
most important days of world peace in fifty years, maybe
one hundred years. He's not wrong. I mean, this is
right up there. And you know, there's there's a lot

(02:30):
of things that that that paved the way for this,
and I'm going to get into my analysis of that
in a second, but I will tell you this that
America is acendency in terms of the leader of the
free world and the leader of the world, frankly, not
just free world, but the leader of the entire world.

(02:50):
And the President Trump has devoted so much time, energy,
and resources into bringing about a world piece is pretty spectacular.
And American exceptionalism, American military strength, American economic strength has
has been on display ever since he took the oath of office,
coming back into office on January twentieth, and it's been,

(03:11):
He's been, and it remains a force of nature. And
he just never stops watching Israeli lawmakers chant Trump's name
the way they did moments before his address to the Kanesse.
I know most of you are asleep, which is why
I'm going to play it later in the show, because
I think it's worth everybody hearing. This is such a

(03:33):
historic day, but his you know, a whole series of
actions that have led up to this possibility, you know,
all as a result of President Trump. He was funny
when he called on the Israeli president to pardon the
Prime Minister Benjaminett, and he's like, really over cigars and

(03:54):
champagnes at the whole place erupted in laughter and greeted
by three minutes standing ovation upon entering the chamber of
the Kanesset, and in one notable moment, calling for the
Prime Minister to be pardon. He's a good man. These
two men are good men. Right here pointing to President
Herzog and he said, I have an idea, mister President,
why don't you give him a pardon? It's quintessential Trump.

(04:17):
What other person would ever do that? And and actually
have the place applauding to the extent that they were
at that moment was unbelievably spectacular and special. You can
see something that I think everybody should really pay attention to,

(04:37):
and that is how much the Israelis put a value
on human life. And this does raise a lot of
questions about the critics and the people that didn't want
him to take out a RAN's nuclear sites, and and
the you know, the rise of anti Semitism. I have
a hard time comprehending why because and some people say, well,

(05:01):
you know, people are just sick of it and it's
gone on too long, and I'm like, well, okay, imagine
if America and American towns and American cities were being
hammered with hundreds of thousands of rockets, you know, decade
in and decade out, you know, surrounded by enemies, culminating
in what happened on October seventh, the worst terrorist attack

(05:23):
in Israel history. You know, they have a small population
of under ten million people. You know, you compare that
to America's population. Extrapolate out the numbers, and that's forty
thousand dead Americans in a day. And if people were
firing hundreds of thousands of rockets into our towns and
our cities and our country and then killing the equivalent
of forty thousand Americans and kidnapping others and raping others

(05:48):
and beheading others and torturing others, would you put a
timetable on victory against that enemy? I don't think so,
but so many have. And the silence, by the way,
on many of the left, or the absolute criticism, is repulsive.
But we'll get to that later. And you could see,

(06:08):
you know, with the Israeli people and his speech to
the Kanesset, I mean, unbelievable applause with these massive crowds
gathered at Hostage Square in Tel Aviv. Tel Aviv's probably
the nicest city, I think in israel I mean, it's
certainly you want to go to the Old City. If
you haven't been to Jerusalem, it's worth going to and

(06:29):
in just the rich history that is involved there. But
his entire more than one hour long speech broadcast on
a jumbo Trump and when he finished speaking, you know,
it's it was like this crowd, the crowd was just
so happy to get people back. And you know, this
was you know, as Trey Yankst actually had said. And
then he interviewed President Trump today and he's been a

(06:51):
reporter in the region now for Fox News for such
a long period of time, and he said, you know,
never before in his lifetime covering this conflict, in covering
what's been going on in the region, in the Middle East,
had he ever seen this, you know, where a moment
where the Israelis was celebrating and the people Gaza were celebrating.
So we only have about six of the twenty eight

(07:14):
dead hostages released. They were listen. There were people on
the left, you know, from Bill and Hillary Clinton to
John Meechaim on the MSD NZ. He said that today's
hostage release is a tremendous achievement for both President Trump
and America, and I would argue in light of the
disastrous withdrawal out of Afghanistan, America's standing in the world

(07:37):
probably was at the lowest point ever. And you know,
I'm watching the left. Tell me how Barack Obama could
have done this? You know, there was the Jerusalem Post
actually had a great piece that they put out here,
you know, zero Wars. They have a picture of Trump
with all the his his face outlined with the pictures

(08:00):
of the hostages. And then they talk about the Abraham Accords,
the Israel, the UAE, Bahrain, Sadan and Morocco, the Israeli
jimases fire, the Armenian Azerbaijan Piece Agreement, the Congo Rwanda
Piece deal, the Israeli Iran ceasefire after twelve days. Nobody
really expected that, the Israeli Palestinian Authority Agreement, the Coast

(08:24):
of O Serbia normalization, North Korea, Cambodia, Thailand, what happened there? Israel, Sudan,
the US and the Jutis. You know, all these happened
under his watch. And you ask yourself, well, why couldn't
Biden negotiate this? Because he wasn't capable of it. Frankly,

(08:45):
you know, the cruelty as the President said, of October
the seventh struck to the core of humanity itself. The
United States grieved alongside you, and we mourned our own
citizens who were vicious also viciously take it. And to
all the family whose lives were forever changed by the
atrocities of that day, To all the people of Israel,

(09:06):
please know that America joined you in those two everlasting vows,
never forget and never again. And you know, this is
now going to be the challenge of a generation to
make sure that this doesn't happen again. And we have
to really stop and pause and think at a moment
like this, what is it that that that led up

(09:31):
to today's events. What happened that led up to today's events.
And you start with the relationship that President Trump and
the trust in the relationship the President Trump and especially
Prime Minister Benjamin Ett Yahoo had in each other. It

(09:51):
was Trump that moved the capital to its rightful home
in Jerusalem. It was Donald Trump that you know, understood
good that the Israelis had a fight for their survival
against radical Islamic terrorism. But you know, the President was
asking a lot out of the Prime Minister of Israel
and turning over you know, thousands of prisoners, which is

(10:14):
part of today's deal, and making that happen, especially at
a point where Israel was probably on the precipice, it
would have been a difficult finish of wiping out They
could have obliterated Gaza. That was the option. That was,
you can do it the easy way or the hard way.
As President Trump said the last time the Prime Minister

(10:35):
was at the White House, you know, only President Trump
would be able to Obama would never be able to.
Remember Obama did that idiotic nuclear deal with Iran where
he had cargo planes with cash and other currencies, you know,
hundreds of millions of dollars, you know, dumped on the
tarmac for the Mullahs in Iran to foment even more

(10:58):
terror around the world. It was maybe the worst agreement
ever in the history of peace negotiations, and it would
have prevented ever the Iranians from getting nuclear weapons. On
top of it. But here's maybe the biggest difference, and
having been on that trip with the President of the

(11:18):
Gulf States when we went to Saudi Arabia and we
went to Qatar, and we went to the UAE and
Abu Dhabi, etc. Is He's built up between his first
term and this term and the end of his first
term the Abraham Accords. Now taking it to another level
and getting a coalition of all these neighboring Arab countries

(11:40):
to join in these peace efforts because for decades and
decades and decades, most of these countries wanted nothing to
do with being a part of the solution here. And
he was able to forge alliances with countries because they
respected him. It was underreported, but in his first term
he was able to build a coalition, for example, with

(12:01):
the US and Israel, the Jordanians, Egyptians, the Saudis, the
Emirates in large part to stand against Iranian hegemony. It
was trust me, it wasn't just Israel that was happy
when Iranian you know, nuclear sites were taken out and
that's taken off the table, because that was a threat
to the entire region, and that also freed up these

(12:24):
countries now to take a more bold stance and stand
with President Trump for a long term solution for peace
in the entire region. So you really can't underestimate the
impact of taking her out, taking out Iranian nuclear sites,
and the world knows that Donald Trump, by doing that
does not make idle threats. In case they forgot, he

(12:45):
defeated the Caliphate. In case they forgot, he took out Solmani.
In case they forgot, he took out Bagdadi. Unless he
forgot that they forgot that he took out or dropped
the mother of all bombs on Afghanistan. You know, remember
he gave the Iranians fifty days make a deal on

(13:06):
nuclear issues, or Israel will have a green light to
attack you. Day fifty one, Israel attacked and they took
out their ballistic missile sites and their defense systems. And
then that paved the way for the President to make
a very tough decision, but the right decision by every measure,
to take out their nuclear sites because, as he had promised,

(13:28):
they cannot be a nuclear power that would be an
existential threat to the entire region and the world. Death
to Israel, death to America, and every other country would
forever have lived in fear of a nuclear armed Dran.
And he tried for peace, to negotiate it with a moss.
You can do it the hard way, you can do
it the easy way. And when they initially rejected the deal,

(13:49):
he said, you better take the deal or you'll be obliterated.
And I think they understood he meant it. You know,
President Trump more than any president in the modern eraror.
And you could see this with these economic deals and
seventeen trillion dollars in committed moneies for you know, manufacturing
investments in the country. You know, more than any other president.

(14:13):
He understands the power, the economic power, the military might,
and the influence of the United States. And he's using
that power, both economically and militarily to make this world
a better and safer place. And he has re established
America on the world stage as the leader of the

(14:34):
free world. I mean, this is beyond historic. And I
tipped my hat to all the people that work with
him in forum, from Marco Rubio to Steve Wikoff and
Jared Kushner and everybody else involved, because they all played
a part in this. Look, I don't want to be
Pollyannish and all this. It was a great day. Seeing
these hostages released was great to see. To see them

(14:57):
reunited with their families was phenomenal. It's sad to see
the bodies now slowly, you know, returning of those that
didn't make it. It's sad to see, but it's also
a relief for the families. He gives them a little
bit of closure. I'm sure it doesn't bring peace to them.

(15:17):
I'm sure that they're still devastated, but it's it's it's
at this point, you know, we are at a point
where it either either the war continued or somebody took
you know, took the reins. And Donald Trump took them
and it was historic and these hostages were released and

(15:41):
there is now hope for the region. And he did
build coalitions in a partnership. And hats off to the
President for being willing to do that which so many
other leaders would be unwilling to do. And that is,
you know, to expend all this political capital and energy
to get there and to do that. And I could
see that when I went on the trip and covered

(16:03):
the trip with him on Air Force one, when he
went to the Gulf States. I mean, the level of
respect that they have for them, I can't really even
put into words, but it is it's they they love
Donald Trump over there. These states now freed up to
be a little bit more supportive of the peace process,
something they've been unwilling to do for decades well, in

(16:25):
large part because Donald Trump took out Iranian nuclear sites.
These countries were as afraid of a nuclear armed Iran
as Israel was. And anyway, but the caution is, you know,
there's a story out today that dozens were killed in
Gaza as violence was erupting between Hamas and these armed clans.

(16:46):
They're having their own intramural fights and for the first
time since Hamas's power eighteen years ago, Gozin's you know,
speaking out against Hamas and they're doing it at great
personal risk. And now people are fighting within themselves with
these with local militias ahead of the President's address, before
the the kanesset earlier today, disarming Hamas, making sure they

(17:10):
never have a voice, demilitarizing the region. You know, this
is now the moment where our coalition partners and people
in the region need to step up and do as
they're promising here and to get rid of the radicals
and put in place, you know, the proper policing to
prevent that from happening. We you know, maybe the you know,

(17:34):
the democratic response here is fascinating on a lot of fronts,
and there were some people on the left that said
nice things about President Trump. I don't want to I
don't want to discount that. I'll go over some of
that in a minute. Probably the dumbest person of all
to watch Lincoln Anthony Tony Blinken try to basically take

(17:56):
credit for getting this process started. I mean, is he
that delusional? He said, well, it starts with a clear,
comprehensive post conflict plan for Gaza. It's good the President
Trump adopted and built on the plan the Biden administration
developed after months of discussion with the Arab partners, Israel,

(18:16):
and the Palestinian authority. It centers on temporary transitional authorities
for Gaza's governance, security, humanitarian assistance and rebuilding led by
Arab and international partners along side the Palestinians, back by
the United States, and ultimately handed over to full Palestinian control.
You know, the moment was squandered Israel and Amas went

(18:38):
back to war. The question now, and this is what
he's in I guess may I mean it was so stupid.
I just it's remarkable to me, and he's been nothing
but a critic, and now he's trying to take well,
we started to oh no, no we did this, No you
didn't do this you weren't capable of this. And it
was Obama and Biden that were stupid enough to think

(19:01):
that they could buy peace and bribe the mullas in
Iran by dropping off hundreds of millions of dollars in
cash and other currency. After they you know, send him
big cargo planes full of cash and another and see
it was insane. I think again to some of the
fun moments when when uh, the president was joking around
quite a bit. Yeah, maybe you can be tough, you know.

(19:24):
He said the same thing about Erdawan later in the day.
But the more substance of things that the President said
is this is the historic dawn of a new Middle East.
He called for a golden age of Israel, a golden
age for the Middle East, and he said Amas and

(19:47):
Israel looking for the bodies of the hostages. He did
update us on that Phase two of the deal has
already started, and he said, as I believe, I think
all of this goes back to taking out Iran's nuclear capability.
I think that gave I gave a window of opportunity
for Arab countries that feared Iran. Remember, you have all

(20:10):
had this conflict with Sunni and Shia and to actually
do it. By the way, both Bill and Hillary Clinton
did praise the president. You got to give him some
credit for that. Uh. But then you have the lunatics
on the left, particularly by the way, you think you
heard from Zoron Kami Mamdanni, mister Global Anthifata himself. No,

(20:31):
he didn't offer any comment on the release of the
last Israeli hostages. And anyway, Andrew Cuomo Curtis Slie was
celebrated at the development as a critical step towards peace
in the region. And even Cuomo said, Mam Donni's silence
speaks volumes and slee will offered praise and thanks to
the President that helped broker this ceasepire deal. We pray

(20:55):
these hostages coming home can recover and live peacefully again.
We're proud of the President and all involved in making
this peace deal happen. Is that so hard for people
to say and acknowledge? You know, for over the past
two years, we've had squad members left wing commentators in
the halls of Congress, on college campuses all around the world.

(21:16):
We've seen obrise and anti Semitism. Again, I think that's
all based in ignorance, and they all been have consistently
calling for a ceasefire. All have been demanding why did
Donald Trump get a ceasefire? Why doesn't Israel stop fighting back?
Israel needs peace guarantees here. Imagine your town being hit
with tens of thousands of rockets. You know, at what

(21:39):
point are you going to put the safety of your
citizens above those that just want free access to just
fire a rocket anytime they want. You know, you got
this idiot over at ms DNC. What's his name, Mehdi Hassan.
I don't even know this guy, writing in one of
several posts, I love that we live in a world
where we're all supposed to now pray Trump for his

(22:00):
peace making and ignored the fact that at least twenty
thousand Palestinians have been killed on his watch with bombs
and bullets, et cetera, et cetera. Apparently even compared this,
you know, to worse than the Holocaust. He says, you know,
ways that the war in Gaza was worse than the Holocaust.
Since deleted that tweet. You got that idiot, Christian Amanpur.

(22:24):
I have no idea why this woman is even on TV.
He is like the chief international you know, propagandist and
a isril Our commentary over the years have been repulsive
as far as I'm concerned. And anyway, she gives big
thoughts on this and claims that well, the Israeli hostages

(22:46):
were probably being treated better than the average gazin and meanwhile,
the world had been spending hundreds of millions of dollars
in aid, a lot of which was stolen by Hamas
leaders at the time. We do have an update. We
originally had four of the twenty eight coffins that were
being transferred that have been handed over to Israel before

(23:08):
crossing in Israeli territory, a military protocol is held in
the Gaza Strip in their memory. According to the Idea AF.
During that protocol, IDF soldiers draped the hostages coffins with
Israeli flags, salute them and recite a chapter from the
Book of Psalms. I can only imagine, you know, heartbreaking.
There was some families that didn't know whether or not

(23:29):
their loved ones were coming home. But six of the
twenty eight bodies of dead hostages have returned and a
lot of people are like, well where the rest of them? Apparently? JD.
Van said that we might not get them all because
they don't know where they put them, which is a
little you know, hard for me to swallow or understand.

(23:54):
But you know, if you're evil, you know, what do
you care? I mean, this is one of the problems
that a lot of these neighboring countries have had with
absorbing the Plastinian population, and that is that they've been
radicalized since their youth. You know, the cartoons, you know,
have been teaching them to hate Israel. The school books

(24:16):
that they use, you know, have been teaching them to
hate the Jews. You know, if you have ten Jews
and you kill seven of them, how many Jews are
left to kill? And you think I'm exaggerating, I'm not.
We've shown it on TV a number of times, a
high value terrorists that Israel has released. That was probably
a bitter pill Israel to swallow, but they did it

(24:38):
because of their love and respect for human life. Only
democrat that I saw that really went to the map
for Donald Trump throughout this whole thing was was John
Fetterman of Pennsylvania. And anyway, there was some question about
the Israeli Prime Minister now joining the President on his
summit Egypt, but it was due to the Jewish holiday

(25:00):
that is starting, but it is. It is a moment
to celebrate. Pause, be cautiously optimistic. Trust, but verify those
nations that showed up in Egypt today, and I went
through a list of many of them, over fifty of them.
I believe those nations. Now they have to step up
and they have to do their part, and a lot

(25:23):
to do here. I will tell you that I don't
think anybody else. I don't see any Democrat that could
have pulled off with President trumpull today we have Nu
Gingrich's take on this role as going to check in
with Ambassador Nathan Sales. Just some other quick news because
we're going to spend a lot more time on this.
By the way, Oregon now spending more tax dollars on

(25:44):
free healthcare for illegals than it does the police. I
couldn't believe that. In the Daily Caller today more than
thirty children rescued amid trafficking operations in a major US city.
Operation Lightning bug leads to the arrest of new investigations
targeting the trafficking of young youth. Anyway, this effort out
of San Antonio, uh now we are expecting Antifa antifas

(26:08):
threatening families of law enforcement, according to Epic Times Today
and a piece that they have out there. Uh, the
DHS Secretary Christy Noan visited Portland ICE facilities and uh,
you know, now we're looking at all options. The president
is going to restore peace in these cities. They have to,

(26:28):
you know, we have we have got to get this done.
By the way, the Schumer shut down, You've got this
big crazy rally of you know, well, first of all,
we had anti ICE protesters in Portland staging a new
diet not very pretty. They have this No King's protest,
and you know, I guess these crowds on demand. Their

(26:49):
CEO says, manipulations, information, misinformation, turned public expression into tools
for profit. Bernie Sanders livid that speaker Johnson called the
upcoming protest the hate America rally. Uh kamala, I mean,
and the Liberals are back to doing what they do.
They just go right back to hating Trump. They can't

(27:11):
spend five seconds and take a minute and say, wow,
this is really good for the world, this is good
for the Middle East. You know, they can't. They can't bother.
It's not in them anyway. We'll get to a lot
of this Coming up, we'll get news take on this.
As a historian, professor, I'm trying to get his take
on it.
