Sean Hannity covers breaking developments out of Minneapolis after a confrontation during an ICE operation results in a fatality. He reads the Department of Homeland Security account and argues the incident reflects a dangerous rise in hostility toward federal officers. Sean also responds to statements from local and state officials, framing the clash as a test of constitutional authority and public safety. Speaker 1 (00:00):
Thanks to all of you for being with us.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
Right down our toll free telephone number you want to
be a part of this extravaganza eight hundred and ninety
four to one, Sean if you want to join us.
We are following this developing story out of Minnesota, Minneapolis
in particular, let me give to you the latest update

(00:22):
it is. This is from the Department of Homeland Security
as to what has gone on today. And by the way,
this is very predictable. Let me be very clear here.
This is a direct consequence of the never ending, NonStop
constant attacks, endless demonization, dosing, threatening of ICE officers, especially

(00:46):
in the sanctuary cities, by sanctuary politicians who have been
encouraging rampant assaults on law enforcement. I mean, ICE agents
now are facing a thirteen hundred percent increase and assaults
against them and an eight thousand percent increase in death threats.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
This is happening because.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
Of the rhetoric of the radical left in this country.
And you know, let us start with a simple education,
you know, point of education for the radical left. We
are a nation that is governed by a constitution. Within
our constitution is something known as the supremacy Clause. Which

(01:31):
means that jurisdiction, law enforcement, jurisdiction for federal law lies
with the federal government. You know, under Biden and Harris Mayorcis,
you know, we had wide open borders twelve twenty million people.
Nobody knows the real number of unvetted illegal immigrants, and

(01:51):
among them known terrorists, known cartel members, known gang members, murderers, rapists,
other violent criminals, drug dealers, all allowed into this country.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
And many Americans have died. And the Left has shown.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
Over and over and over again that they care more
about the so called rights of the illegals than they
do about the safety and security of you, the American people,
And that environment has led to what happened today in Minnesota.
In Minneapolis specifically, let me read from the Department of

(02:27):
Homeland Security. Today, Ice officers in Minneapolis were conducting targeted operations.
When rioters began blocking Ice officers by the way, in
and of itself, that would be a crime. He would
be preventing, you know, law enforcement. That substruction of justice,
it has a name. One of these violent rioters weaponized

(02:47):
her vehicle, attempting to run over our law enforcement officers
in an attempt to kill them. An act of domestic terrorism.
An ICE officer, fearing for his life, the lives of
his fellow law enforcement and the safety of the public,
fired defensive shots. He used his training, saved his own
life and that of his fellow officers. The alleged perpetrator

(03:10):
was hit is now deceased. The ICE officers who were
hurt are expected to make full recoveries, thank God. And
this is a direct impact of the constant attacks, as
I said, and demonization of ICE officers by these sanctuary politicians,
among them Timmy Walls, among them, this idiot mayor of Minneapolis,

(03:34):
who will get to in a minute. You know, Jacob
fry fry Baby is he's known or small Fry among
people of Minnesota. But it's an evolving situation and as
more information becomes available, it will be provided by the
Department of Homeland Security, now you know.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
So it leads to.

Speaker 2 (03:55):
Mayor Jacob small fry Baby, Fry fry Baby telling Ice
clearly doesn't understand the Constitution, the supremacy clause of our country.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
But you know this, this is his response to this.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
Remember what we're what we are reporting here is you
had and remember we've seen this. We have there's an
app that is nationwide that actually is tipping off people
all around the country. If ICE officers show up in
a neighborhood giving warning to illegal immigrants in our country,

(04:36):
people that did not respect our laws, our borders, our sovereignty,
that puts ICE officers lives in jeopardy, makes their job harder,
it makes it more dangerous.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
What does it do.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
It It eliminates the element of surprise, which is critical
for law enforcement, especially if they're involved in a in
an operation to arrest illegal immigrants and in some cases
known terrorists, murderers, rapist cartel members. But it takes away
the element of surprise and puts their lives in further jeopardy.

(05:09):
You can thank sanctuary cities and states for putting you know,
for prioritizing this over the enforcement of law. Now democrats
want to change the laws, they can change it, or
they could just you know, back in power and lie
to us and allow all these unvetted illegals into our country,
which puts American lives in jeopardy. You know, go back

(05:29):
to the president last year Joint Session speech and he
recognizes Lake and Riley's family, Joscelyn Nungary's family, a young
man who beat cancer becomes a secret Service agent. They
couldn't even stand for the families that lost loved ones
that were murdered by Biden Harris Mayorcis illegals. They don't care.

(05:50):
They care more about the so called rights of illegals.
I mean, you can't stand for Joscelyn Nungary's family, her mom, Alexis,
you know, twelve year old girl brutally murdered and raped
and thrown in a river in Texas. I mean, it's
it's beyond sick. I said at the time, and I'll
say it again. They lost their heart, their sold their
conscience at that time. But anyway, so you have the

(06:15):
mayor of Minneapolis, you know, Jacob Smallfry out there giving
this extraordinary message, you know, telling the the ICE agents,
whose duty it is to enforce the laws of our country,
to get the f out of Minneapolis.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
Here's what he said.

Speaker 2 (06:34):
There's little I.

Speaker 3 (06:35):
Can say again that'll make this situation better. But I
do have a message for our community, for a city,
and I.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
Have a message for ICE two. Ice, get the fuck
out of Minneapolis.

Speaker 3 (06:49):
We do not want you here. Your stated reason for
being in this city is to create some kind of safety,
and you are doing exactly the opposite. People are being hurt,
Families are being ripped apart. Long term Minneapolis residents that
have contributed so greatly to our city, to our culture,

(07:10):
to our economy are being terrorized, and now.

Speaker 1 (07:13):
Somebody is dead. That's on you, and it's also on
you to leave.

Speaker 3 (07:19):
It's on you to make sure that further damage, further
loss of life and injury, is not done.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
The incitement is coming from the radical left. The ICE
agent shot the woman again allegedly, I have to say,
allegedly was ramming officers with a vehicle. If you ram
somebody with a vehicle, you can kill them. That makes
this an act of self defense. What ICE is now

(07:49):
calling domestic terrorism. But you know now we have Governor Timmy.
I mean, they have the worst politicians in Minnesota.

Speaker 1 (07:57):
I don't know what is up with the people of Minnesota.
I have no idea.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
Keith Ellison, your attorney general, this idiot, this moron mayor
of Minneapolis. You have a lunatic governor, Tim Walls, who
by the way, is getting excoriated and exposed on Capitol
Hill today. We'll hit that later. But he goes to xay.
My public safety team is working to gather information on

(08:21):
an Ice related shooting this morning. We will share information
as we learn more. In the meantime, I asked folks
to remain calm after news of the shooting. Congresswoman omar
Ice must stop terrorizing our communities and.

Speaker 1 (08:34):
Leave our city. They're not leaving.

Speaker 2 (08:36):
They're not getting the f out I had Tom Homan
on last night, and after the billions and billions of
dollars that were stolen from the people of not only Minnesota,
but this country. In light of this systemic and institutionalized
corruption that's been going on in that state and clearly
elsewhere around the country, that is not going to happen.

(08:59):
Ice has now this is their job to enforce the
laws of the land. Period end of sentence, No pause
stop here. I mean, you know, we had this incident
that took place, and by the way, I tipped my
hat to the Hilton hotel brand for what they did.
Ye had the General Services Administration terminating they had a

(09:23):
Hilton named independently owned hotel. In other words, they'll franchise
out the name Hilton and they'll slap it on an
independently owned hotel and as soon as they refused access
to ICE and law enforcement agents, and Hilton found out
about it, they took away the right of this independent
operator to use the term Hilton, and they put out

(09:45):
a long statement saying how everybody is welcome at a
Hilton Hotel. I give him a lot of credit for
doing all of that, but you know, you can't convince
me that you know, all of this frenzy has been
whipped up by these reckless politicians, these sanctuary state city

(10:06):
politicians that do not enforce laws of our country and
have created an environment where where the radicals pretty much
control everything. There's no law, there's no order, no, they
are aiding and abetting in the law breaking. At some point,
we have got to ask ourselves why sanctuary city mayors,

(10:30):
why sanctuary state governors are not held responsible for aiding
and a betting and offering aid and comfort to those
people that have clearly broken our laws. Now on Capitol Hill,
you've got this skating audit that came out in Minnesota,

(10:52):
conducted by the nonpartisan Office of Legislative Auditor, found widespread
failures internal control problems Department of Human Services behavioral administration
and their grant program. I mean, when you look at
the amount of people, I mean, this is unbelievable if
you look at in this and by the way, this
is the tip of the iceberg. I mean, for example,

(11:13):
of Minnesota, fifty four percent of the Somali community is
on food stamps. Fifty four percent or play. Brandon Gilly
went off on this earlier today. The percentage of Somali
headed households on medicaid seventy three percent. They have a
whopping eighty percent child autism rate in the Somali Minnesota community,

(11:38):
which is unheard of and it's not real. It's a
way to defraud the government. You have this independent, you know,
citizen journalist who's done a really good job. Unfortunately, I
mean his life is now in jeopardy, which it shouldn't.

Speaker 1 (11:55):
His name is Nick Shirley. He's done a great day.

Speaker 2 (11:57):
He would go to all these places, daycare centers that
are spending billions of dollars for daycare for people of Minnesota,
and he knocked on the door. No kids are there,
they don't even have facilities. It's all just institutionalized fraud.
You know, Minnesota, seventy three percent rate on medicaid. I mean,
they're stealing from the American people. The percentage of Somali

(12:19):
headed households on welfare in general eighty one percent. Ten
years of being in the US, the percentage of Somali
immigrant households continue to be on over seventy eight percent.
I mean, this is insane. It's institutionalized stealing, and that
is now being front and center. James Comer accusing Tim

(12:40):
Walls of being asleep and the wheels worse than that
because he was warned by whistleblowers that all of this
was taking place and he chose to do nothing. That's
where this is gonna end up. Leading by the way,
a squad representative Presley's ex con husband claps a phone
out of a guy's hand as he tried to ask

(13:01):
or a question. Sir, you cannot take my phone out
of my hand. The question or can be heard as
saying in the incident, let's see if anything happened. I
don't know if I slap somebody's phone out of their hand.
If the million times in my life that people stick
a phone in my face or a microphone on my face,
if I'm out and about, what do you think would
happened to me? Linda, I think I'd probably be arrested,

(13:21):
don't you think?

Speaker 1 (13:24):
Yeah? I would be.

Speaker 2 (13:24):
But I just say, sir, couldn't you know, please give
me some distance. Please don't make me hurt you. That's
my favorite line, Please don't make me hurt you. And
then I step back and I de escalate. Can I
buy you a drink? I say that in a restaurant
to people. You know that it being jackasses to me.
The last thing I want is to ever have this. Anyway,

(13:45):
we're going to continue to follow this story throughout the day.

this person? A tenant advocate who wants to seize all

(14:09):

that wants to impoverish the white middle class. Had Comrade
Deblasio on talking about that last night, Well asked Bill
O'Reilly about his home state. When we get back a
little later in the program today. Anyway, eight hundred and
nine to FOURT one Shawn is a number. Listen, You've

to your grocery store. By the way, I read a
comment Linda the other day, Sean Hannity doesn't go to
grocery stores. John Hannity never worked in a shipyard. Sean
Hannity was never in construction. We've proven all of this wrong.
I put on my former bosses. Yeah, I go to

(14:50):
grocery stores. I go to convenience stores. I fill up
my own gas tank with the one gas car that
I have left. Anyway, tap to pay is a popular

Speaker 4 (15:55):
Today the Dems want to stand on the step saying
terrible songs and cursing out Trump.

Speaker 1 (16:08):
You know you have one guy over this shout and ever.

Speaker 4 (16:10):
Wonder if these people ever go to work? Me too,
throwing out this is the Sean Hannity Show.

Speaker 2 (16:18):
At certain times, we all have or discover certain foods
that may bother our stomach, our digestive system. Sometimes eat
something you feel fine at first.

Speaker 1 (16:28):
And bloated up an hour later. Whatever.

Speaker 2 (16:31):
I hate that feeling. No nobody likes to be bloated.
And I want to tell you about this great company
because I'm into health, wellness, fitness, nutrition that i found.

Speaker 1 (16:38):
It's called viome.

Speaker 2 (16:40):
What voome does is it takes guesswork out of eating
healthy with a simple at home micro biome test, providing
you with comprehensive full body insights, personalized food recommendations, and
even supplements made for you. So I want you to
do is just go to viome vii dot com slash

(17:02):
Hannity today and you know what, whatever you can do
to increase your longevity, your health, your wellness, your fitness,
your nutrition, you know what, it's just smart to do it.
And that's why we're, you know, fully on board with this,
and I think you're gonna love it as well. Maybe
you don't interfere in law enforcement operations. Maybe there's some

(17:26):
lessons some people can learn here. You see the mayor
of Minneapolis and Tim Walls now following this is pure propaganda.

Speaker 1 (17:35):
Well, either the woman.

Speaker 2 (17:36):
Tried to ram into ice agents and kill them or
she didn't. It's that simple, it's that basic, it's that fundamental.
But it is the rhetoric of the radical left, the
demonization of ice agents that is now institutionalized by the
radical left. It has created this insane environment. All right,

(18:00):
we'll get to the other news on the other side,
we have a lot of other news today.

Speaker 5 (18:03):
Straight ahead, when news breaks, you get the inside story
that no one else has and the behind the scenes
chatter that the mainstream media doesn't even know about.

Speaker 1 (18:16):
This is the Sean Hannity Show, by the.

Speaker 2 (18:20):
Way, twenty five till the top of the hour. Then
we I just saw a clip of Tim Walls referring
to Ice agents as gestapa. You don't think this creates
an environment that puts officers in jeopardy? President Trump just
putting on truth social I have just viewed the clip
of the event, which took place in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Terrible
thing to watch. The woman was screaming was obviously a

(18:44):
professional agitator. He goes on to say, I mean, all
of this is so preventable, which is just so frustrating
to me. And he goes on and says, and the
woman driving the car was very disorderly, obstructing, resisting, who
then willfully and viciously ran over the Ice officer who

(19:04):
seems to have shot her in self defense. Based on
the attached clip, it is hard to believe he's alive,
but he's now recovering in the hospital. The situation is
being studied in its entirety. But the reason these incidents
are happening is because the radical left is threatening, assaulting,
and targeting a law enforcement officers and ICE agents on
a daily basis. They are just trying to do the

(19:27):
job of making America safe. We need to stand by
and protect our law enforcement officers from this radical left
movement of violence and of hate. You look at the
video and it's a blockade and just drives right through it,
and then you know other agitators involved. It's just, you know,
so preventable, so sad, so predictable. To be very honest, anyway, it's.

Speaker 1 (19:56):
I don't know. I really don't get it. I really
don't get it.

Speaker 2 (20:03):
Hang on, I am sending a note to somebody as
we speak.

Speaker 1 (20:07):
Uh hang on, nod d okay, important. Sorry.

Speaker 2 (20:14):
You know Democrats now claim ice in dangers the public. Well,
they ignore the real statistics. You know, been going back
to twenty fourteen was a study showing twenty one percent
of US homicides are committed by illegal immigrants. And this
is long before Joe Biden allowed you know, twelve twenty
minute whatever the number is, you know million, you know,

(20:37):
unvetted people into this country and in the wake of
today's shooting. You know, you hear democrats complaining that when
ICE agents attempt to remove illegal immigrants from our communities,
how much longer are these democratic politicians going to try
to obstruct justice aid in a bet criminal law breakers

(20:58):
and put ICE agents in jeopardy. I've given you the
numbers there are through the roof the incidents of attempted
assaults on ICE agents. Nobody seems to care about them,
and never mentioned the people innocent Americans murdered and raped
and victims of other violent crime. Don't mention the number
of Americans that lose their lives because the drug car

(21:20):
tells they don't go anywhere near it. Anyway, We're going
to continue to follow this story related to what's going
on around the world. For example, you know Cuba now
has no energy. Cuba's Cuban, the Cuban people have been
living in poverty. Here's a reason. You know, we have
a very large Cuban American community. And I will tell

(21:42):
you haven't been to Miami a whole bunch of my life,
and haven't even broadcasts from from Miami in what some
refer to as Little Havana. I mean, that's such a
strong Cuban American presence. Linda, you were there with me.
They are the greatest people on the base of this earth, Artists, working,

(22:02):
god fearing, loving people you'd ever want to meet and
hang out with in your life. They really are an
amazing community.

Speaker 1 (22:09):
Yeah, you know.

Speaker 2 (22:11):
They. I really developed a strong relationship with them after
the la and Gonzales case, if you remember, and I
was down there for that, and I just you know,
they they are hopeful for the first time. The only
reason the Cuban economy stays afloat is because people that
got broken down dilapidated rickety boats or inner tubes and

(22:33):
shark infested waters and made their way to Miami and
made their way to Florida and have pursued the American
dream successfully. The wealth of success has been amazing. People
that leave communism they get a breadth of capitalism and
they embrace it and they thrive like you know, no,

(22:56):
like like you know, like they should. In America, I mean,
too many Americans take freedom for granted, don't take it
for granted. But people that come from countries where they
didn't have freedom, they embrace it, They inhale it, they
appreciate it and sometimes we don't appreciate the gifts that
we have. But the community is amazing, and the Miami community,

(23:18):
I know it is very hopeful. But the only reason
that the Cuban economy has been propped up is because
people in the Cuban American community have been so gracious
and generous to friends and family and loved ones that
remain impoverished in Cuba. Now, the lifeblood of every economy

(23:39):
is energy.

Speaker 1 (23:40):
Oil.

Speaker 2 (23:41):
Almost all of Cuba's energy came from Venezuela. They're now
going to be cut off, and that means that probably Cuba,
they're long suffering economies, now in a free fall. I've
read this in the New York Times today. By all accounts,
Cuba is now and during, the worst economic moment in

(24:04):
sixties in the sixty seven year history of the Communist Revolution.

Speaker 1 (24:10):
I'll never forget.

Speaker 2 (24:11):
When I was in Huntsville, Alabama, neighboring town called Decatur,
I had an advertiser on my show. It was Mando's Pizza.
The owner was Armando de Cuissada. He was a Cuban
refugee and he was there during He since passed away.
He was a great guy and by the way, he
had a great pizza store. I would go after, you know,

(24:31):
either before my radio show for lunch or after I'd
go hang out with this guy, and he told me
the whole story. His family was fairly wealthy. They were landowners.
That land was confiscated after the revolution, and he fought
for a while in the resistance until he became a
target of Castro and his regime. And he was somehow

(24:54):
able to escape in a rickety boat and made his
way to America, and he built a life for himself,
a business for himself, and him and his family prospered
as a result. But he but he always did say
that he sent money back to loved ones in Cuba.
Is a great guy. We became very close friends, amazing friends.

(25:17):
But the president announced last night that the authorities in Venezuela.
Now a lot of people have asked me, well, why
hasn't the president fully endorsed Maria Karina Maschado. At this point,
the opposition leader that in twenty twenty three one ninety
two plus percent of the vote to run against Maduro.
Maduro wouldn't let her because I think the president understands

(25:42):
that for now there is a degree of control and
a degree of necessity for continuity as they transition into
getting their energy economy up and running. The old only
way that can happen is with American ingenuity, American energy companies,

(26:05):
and that money hopefully will flow very quickly to the
Venezuelan people, but also America will benefit greatly from all
of this. And by the way, as Maria Machado has
said on this program, but anyway, he announced that over
between thirty and fifty million barrels of high quality, sanctioned

(26:25):
oil to the US will be turned over by Venezuela,
and that oil will be sold at market price, and
that money will be controlled by the president, and the
President will use that money and ensure that it will
be used to the benefit of the people of Venezuela
and the people of this country. And I do believe
in the process of rebuilding. Remember, American ingenuity and American

(26:48):
oil companies built out the energy sector starting way back
in the nineteen twenties. They have the largest oil reserves
in the entire world in Venezuela. But this is the
beginning of and by the way, it's a perilous process.
This is this is not in any way going to
be an easy you know this, He's in this for

(27:11):
the long run, just the way it is. Hang on four. Sorry,
I'm doing ten things at once here, which I hate
to do.

Speaker 1 (27:21):
All right. So anyway, two.

Speaker 2 (27:24):
Out of three poles now showed Trump's approval rating, you know,
going through the roof, I to talk to Matt Tower
inside her advantage. He said, you know, nearly sixty percent
of Americans approve of the President's actions in Venezuela, what
they're now calling the Donro Doctrine, which you know, there's

(27:44):
so many benefits that we haven't even spoken about. I
mentioned yesterday how the missile defense systems and the air
defense systems in Venezuela were Russian made and China made
and they failed, just like they failed spectacularly and Iran.
And what that means is the influence that Iran, China

(28:05):
and Russia had in Venezuela in our hemisphere is now
gone as well. And the President says he's he's going
to sell Venezuelan oil and that money, you know, will
be used for the benefit of the eighty six percent
of Venezuelan's who've been living in poverty because of the corruption.
Going back to Hugo Schabez and then Nicholas Maduro, and

(28:26):
Maduro sends you know, this arrest sends a clear message
for all these drug cartels and all these other countries
that your days are numbered. Period, end of sentence. And
you know, we got so much happening, you know, the
brutal Maduro enforcer. You know, there are people that are
standing in the way or trying to stand in the way,

(28:46):
but in the end they're not going to have any
success doing so. And US demands from Venezuela to sever
economic ties with Iran, Cuba and China. That's all going
to happen as well. But there's there's a period of
transition in any effort like this, because there's a great
amount of difficulty. Now Fox News reporting today as we

(29:08):
move along, and I don't think this would have happened
had Donald Trump not taken out the nuclear capability of
the Iranian mullas. But the headline is Iran is on
the brink as protesters now moved to take two cities
and there's a major development two cities in western Iran
that have been effectively taken over and people actually celebrating

(29:29):
in the streets. I've seen videos of police laying down
their arms and showing solidarity with the protesters. That's something
that had never happened before. The people chanting death to
Kamani Ali Komanie now, according to multiple reports, as plans
to defect and move on to Russia. Iranian freedom fighters

(29:50):
now say Tehran is a war zone. The National Council
of Resistance on Iran put out that protests now spread
to one hundred and ten cities across the country, thirty
two so far identified as having been killed, signaling a
major shift in the balance of power in the streets.
Security forces did ramp up their brutality, but it seems

(30:13):
to be backfiring and more people take to the streets
as the violence gets ratcheted up by the Iatola's mob.
By Tuesday morning, the Grand Bazaarre, usually a hub of trade,
described by one witness as a war zone. The regime
is trying to deploy all their resources. Their offer of
seven dollars a month for people to stop protesting is laughable.

(30:37):
But I don't think there's any doubt that, you know, really,
any day, any week, any month from now, that this
regime is on the verge of collapsing as well. Yeah,
all again because of Donald Trump and his actions and
