Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, thank you Scott Shannon, and thanks to all
of you for being with us. Right down our toll
free telephone number. You want to be a part of
the program and say one hundred and ninety four one
Sean if you want to join us. Very very interesting.
It's hard to capture or explain, so I think I'm
going to play a large portion of it later in
the program. Today, the new Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney

(00:24):
meeting with Donald Trump in the Oval Office. Now, he
had two very big constituencies that he had to appeal
to here, and one constituency would be Canada that just
elected him and he ran on a very anti Trump platform,
and the other has to be Canada needs. And this

(00:45):
is the strength that President Trump understands that we have
as a country. Canada needs the relationship with the United
States to be good, healthy and strong. Now, the good
news is is that came out of that meeting and
they both recognize that. As the President said repeatedly, we're
just we're having friendly conversations and we're we're going to

(01:10):
be friends, and we're going to get along, and we're
going going to come we're going to get a deal.
But then the Press was also firm about saying, but
I'm gonna be very blunt, we don't want Canadian cars
or aluminum or steel when we don't really need their lumber,
even their energy. He went on to say, on the
other hand, Carneyeh, it was pretty funny exchange. I'll play

(01:33):
it later. Carney says that Canada is not for sale,
will never be for sale, and then President Trumb's response
was never say never, and even kind of acknowledged that
maybe it was a bad idea to call Justin Trudeau
the mayor because that might have might have might have
helped Carney in the end. What's more interesting to me

(01:56):
is this who this guy is and and I'm sure
President Trump was well versed on this individual before the
Prime Minister, before he ever came into the Oval office.
Fashioned himself is a Canada first politician. Now they do
you have this little bit of urgency that's probably going
to be problematic from him. The Alberta province now, even

(02:19):
though it's it's leader saying that they don't want it,
but there's a lot of talk of secession, uh there,
and that might might be that might render Carney more
of a lame duck than than I think a lot
of people imagine. But this guy ran anti Trump. You know,
he's going to fight for the middle class, jobs, more

(02:39):
affordable future. He is a radical leftist, let's be very
clear about this. And he led a net zero campaign
to phase out oil, gas and coal. He's a champion
of globalism. Just the News dot com at a very
good piece on him later on. John Solomon will join us,
but he championed globalism at the United Nations. Righted his

(03:00):
own country's truckers that were protesting vaccine mandates. They're in
the truck alone. Well I didn't understand that part. But
he was one of those that said that they were
anarchists because they didn't want to get the jab and
the shot, and that they should all be prosecuted because
they quote terrorized Canadians. They weren't terrorizing. They were standing

(03:21):
up for their own bodies, in their own life and
their own freedom. Even went as far as to call it.
Sedition wrote a twenty twenty two February twenty twenty two
newspaper op ed about, you know, the freedom convoy truckers
protests in Ottawa. We covered that at the time. That's
a world a word I'd never thought i'd use in Canada,

(03:41):
it means incitement of resistance to or insurrection against lawful authority.
They are not patriots. This is not about restoring freedom,
but the beginning of anarchy. This guy said and alleged
that the horn honking truckers were making resident his lives
hell and bankrupting businesses that have left unchecked would help

(04:05):
achieve the convoys goal of undermining our democracy and rule
of law. And just so you know, just a little
interesting background. Carnae even one further, suggesting Americans that donated
to support the truckers and their convoys they should be
brought up on charges and face legal consequences in Canada.
If you spoke out in support of the truckers, anyone

(04:28):
sending money to the convoys should should be in no
doubt you are funding sedition. He wrote, foreign funders of
an insurrection interfered in our domestic affairs from the start,
and he said that authorities should take every step within
the law to identify and thoroughly punish them. I mean,
that is a major globalist. And up until the time

(04:50):
he was running for Prime minister, he held three citizenships,
not just Canada, but in Ireland and the UK, and
only because he ran prime minister. I should only have
one citizenship anyway, Very far left, very radical, and you know,
he's he suggested that he could be more moderate than

(05:12):
Trudeau on climate policy, but over the weekend, you know,
signal that he'd be defying against Donald Trump. He was
anything but The only one thing he could say that
he really stood up for was Canada will never be
the fifty first state Trump's ansor never say never, which
I think was a you know, a typical Trump troll.
I mean, Donald Trump does take up more space in

(05:34):
people's minds than any one individual on planet Earth right now.
But we do need a good relationship. And the President
was even went as far as to say, of course,
we're going to always protect Canada. We do supply a
lot of their national security. They can count on us,
and they do count on us. Canada has been unfair

(05:57):
in the tariffs that they've levied against us. They're not
free impair traders. I think they've taken advantage of our
goodness and our kindness and our generosity, and I do
think that that imbalance needs to be restored. And I
think the President, like all these other countries that defend
their products by using tariffs, A friend and fall alike

(06:18):
is well within his. The choice is simple. Either you
take either you accept fifty to sixty years of establishment
institutionalist thinking and unfundamental foundational unfairness, or you challenge it
and you come up with better deals. Now, it was

(06:38):
other news that was made today that I found very
very interesting with the president, and that being with the
Houti rebels, and I think that this could be, you know,
good news for the world, and that the president's bombardment
of the Hoodies and after what happened, they fired at

(06:59):
Bengori Airport in Israel, and then the Israeli has hit
their airport twice as hard. And he announced that at
the beginning of this meeting with the Canadian Prime Minister,
that the US would stop the bombings against the Hoodie rebels.
After the Hoodies told the US they don't want to
fight anymore. He said, well, honor, that we'll stop the bombings.
He said he was referring to the military campaign they

(07:21):
have capitulated, but more importantly, we will take their word
they say they will not be blowing up ships anymore.
And a Defense official confirmed that the US military has
been instructed as a Monday night to stand down on
the strikes against the hoodies. I think Israel obviously they've
been targeting know Yemen all this week in response to

(07:43):
the attack against Bengorian Airport. One other interesting note on
the world stage. Well, first of all, Trump's approval rating, Oh,
it's fifty one percent according to Rasmussen today. I'm sure
the fake news media that was trying to convince you
that he was at thirty nine percent, and we had
Matt Towery Robert Cahilly on both radio and TV. Matt

(08:04):
Towery not true. The president is right on the issues,
almost every one of them, and Americans, he's actually doing
much better than what the mainstream media. All the polling
companies that got twenty twenty four wrong and twenty sixteen
wrong and twenty twenty wrong were the same people that
were out there saying, oh, the President's doing terrible. Chuck

(08:24):
Schumer the dumbest press conference I've ever seen. Dali Weyer
had a peace out today. United Nations at a two
hundred million dollar cash shortfall according to the Economists, which
says internal modeling suggesting that the year end cash deficit
will probably explode to one point one billion, leaving the
UN without money to pay salaries and suppliers by September.

(08:48):
The US usually contributes two point three billion annually, but
February fourth, President Trump issued an executive action that stated
the US will not fund the UN RWA or the
UN HRC, and that the US will not satisfy any
claims to pay twenty twenty five assessments or prior arrears

(09:08):
by these organizations. America's total arrears are about three billions. No,
they're not getting our money. It has historically been anti Semitic,
it has been anti American, and frankly, I would be
I couldn't have been. I wouldn't I'd be the happiest person.
Let the UN go elsewhere. Let's China fund that bill,

(09:29):
considering they did everything they could through the WHO to
cover up COVID and be the press secretary. By the way,
the photographer who got that picture of Trump fight fight
fight ended up getting a pull out surprise, one of
the few that actually I think was deserved. That's separate
and a part I think maybe the best explanation of

(09:52):
the president's economic philosophy, and we'll go into more specificity
in detail later was in the Wall Street Journal written
by the Treasury Secretary Scott Bessint, who we had on
last week on Hannity, and he went through how the
President recognizes the key role Wall Street plays and financing

(10:13):
the American dream, but he also pointed out that Main
Street it's their turn to share in the prosperity. And
he laid out what were three very core principles and
what he's calling an economic rebalancing. And this is where
the Republican Party and this is where the President's policies
are in line with the idea that the Republicans now

(10:35):
are the party for hard working men and women, the
people that make this country great. And how the president's
hard efforts to restore America's industrial base will pay long
term dividends, many of which people have not been calculating
or factoring in to their thinking. But when you put

(10:55):
the totality of the president's economic agenda into perspective, Okay,
what is the president doing. He's looking for free and
fair trade. Hees challenging a system that has been unfair
for the better part of fifty to sixty years. He's
bringing back manufacturing to our country that will create high

(11:16):
paying career jobs for Americans. He's also eliminating a lot
of competition for those jobs by deporting people that didn't
respect our laws, borders, and sovereignty. Best in his plays
talked about the China shock is ib identified this a
paper on the uneven effects of trade liberalization and that
resulted in three point seven million Americans losing their jobs

(11:39):
and China accounting for fifty nine point three percent of
US manufacturing job losses. And then the the you know,
the opposite has been applied by liberal Democrats that they'll they'll,
you know, they'll compensate people by you know, giving them
the crumbs from the government's table. That's not going to work.

(12:00):
Could work for most people. Americans instinctively want to work.
And frankly, every American needs, every human soul needs a
purpose in life. You need to. I can't think anything
worth them getting up in the day and having nothing
to do. What am I going to do today? What
am I going to have for dinner? You think at
eight o'clock in the morning, I mean, that's ridiculous. So yeah,

(12:20):
as a result of outsourcing all manufacturing, we made a mistake.
That means pharmaceuticals that means we became dependent on rare
earths that we should have been manufacturing here. That means,
even though we had more energy resources than the entire
world combined, that we allowed ourselves to become dependent until

(12:41):
Donald Trump got into office. So negotiating these these trade
deals will be effective for balancing international commerce. He makes
that point out. We saw during COVID the vulnerabilities in
our supply chain, especially with pharmaceuticals. The President announcing today,
by the way, that the executive order aimed at boosting

(13:02):
US prescription drug manufacturing because we don't want to be
buying pharmaceuticals from other countries. God forbid, there's a war
or a pandemic. We're in a problem. And the same
would be, you know, for rare earths, which you know what,
it's time for America to get other sources, but beyond China.
Then you couple that with the President's energy dominance program

(13:23):
and the President's you know, one big beautiful bill which
will include no tax on tips, social Security or over time,
and making the twenty seventeen tax cuts permanent. Otherwise, the
average family of form that has a median income will
will be paying more than four thousand dollars in real

(13:43):
take home pay. And this year's tax bill will will
restore one hundred percent expensing for equipment and expand incentive
for a new factory construction and accelerate reindustrialization. That's going
to get companies moving like really fast. And you know,
it's it's all good. And that's why you see And
by the way, eighty four percent according to poll out

(14:06):
Today of likely voters wont President Trump's tax cuts permanent.
According to Public Opinion Strategies, eighty four percent. It's like
the borders, just like energy, just like pretty much those
Americans see the wisdom and the President's policies. One of
the reasons that I'm confident that there is going to
be at some point down the line. I hope sooner

(14:28):
than later, because it impacts a lot of people, and
I hate people to be impacted negatively on this issue
of the US versus China. But The New York posted
an article about how protests from furious factory workers in
China demanding back pay or spreading across the country like
wildfire and unrest reported across the country. Workers now taken

(14:48):
to the streets protesting unpaid wages, challenging unfair dismissals following
the closure of factories as a result of these tariffs,
and Chinese industry leaders said that maybe why on Friday
that they decided to maybe say both, the President's serious,
I think we're open to a discussion. It's probably an

(15:09):
everybody's best interest to have that discussion, and maybe sooner
rather than later, and maybe they can realize that, well,
the there's a new sheriff in town. Ripping America off
is in in in their long term best interest and
they do need access to American markets will continue. I'm

(15:33):
getting a little sick and tired of all of the
lawfair that goes on. You have one judge now, a
judge on Monday, ordering the Trump administration to admit twelve
thousand quote refugees into the US under a court order,
partially blocking the president's efforts to suspend this refugee admissions programs.

(15:56):
This is what the left does, and you know, they
don't really seem to care. I don't know why my
phone has been blowing up. Something is going on. I
can't put my finger on it. There's something like I
just get the sends based on my sources that there's
something happening today. I don't know. I have no idea

(16:18):
what it is, but I could just tell there's too
much activity from too many people. What Linda, you want,
you can speak on air, go ahead. Scot has just
announced that they're supporting the President's decision to not allow
transgenders in the military. Now, no, the Supreme Court is
mostly ruled with him. What I don't understand is on

(16:38):
the Alien Enemies Act is why with the Supreme Court precedents,
you know, they still wanted it to go through the
proper appeals court because I think ultimately they will side
with that precedent and we'll see this one policy that
we spent a lot of time on yesterday, and we
had christininom on last night, the Trump administration is set

(16:58):
to pay illegal immigrants for coach fair to get out
of the country in one thousand dollars upon their arrival
in their home country. Now, the interesting part of it,
most people don't know this, but it has proven very
successful in countries like Germany, Denmark, and Sweden. Now, currently

(17:19):
the average court costs to arrest, detained, and remove an
illegal alien seventeen and twenty one dollars, and even after
you pay for their plane ticket home and give them
a thousand bucks. You're still saving. It's going to decrease
costs of deportation by at least seventy percent. Last year,
the German government revealed the policy and had ensured that

(17:42):
more than eight thousand illegals return to their home countries
in ten months. Sweden, their asylum applications dropped to a
forty year low, as the Scandinavian country pays illegals to
self deport, with plans to drastically increase payments to migrants
who incentivize repatriation. Denmark also gives illegal immigrants in their

(18:03):
country a financial stipend to self deport. Asylum applications are
extremely low compared to other European countries and Norway and
there has an assisted return policy as well, and it's
been very successful for them too. You know, sad article
I've read today in the New York Post, even though

(18:24):
I grew up reading New York tabloid papers, and it's
kind of cool. You can get the hard copy. Still
old fashioned. Love to read the hard copy, especially the
New York Post, Wall Street Journal. You can get them
down here. I don't read the New York Times anymore.
It's not worth it the paper that it's printed on.
But a twelve year old migrant boy busted in a
violent subway mugging that got out a slap on the wrist.

(18:45):
And what they are discovering is all of these young people,
the images of these illegal immigrant children and all the
crimes that they are committing. It is just so sad
to see. And the amount one illegal trend a Aragua
linked you know, youngsters brawling with NYPD cops in a

(19:08):
wild Times Square fight that took place. I mean, the
headline in the New York Post the other day was
stolen youth, heartbreaking images of what illegal? What the migrant
crisis has wrought an eleven year old in cuffs for
a violent muggy. Anyway, the Trump team has also stepped
in to move to protect your kids. After Blue City,

(19:30):
let's see an illegal child sex predator walk free and
the illegal from Hondura and a Hondurian national was now
by ice after you know, they said, local authorities dropped
a series of charges which included child abduction and home invasion.
I mean this happened in Washington, d C. I mean,
you just think of every single person murdered, everyone, raped, everyone,

(19:54):
victim of a violent crime, every and the same. That's
why I keep saying, Joe, Biden, Kamala, they all have
blood on their hands. Now here's an interesting update to
the a Brego Garcia story. And even ABC News picked
up on it. I guess they were forced to. But

(20:15):
it turns out that when remember we got the video,
we played it on Hannity and we played it here
on radio. But it's a better video. Tennessee State trooper
caught a Brego Garcia with a car full of Biden
illegals in twenty two. The cop knew they were illegal,
they knew it was a human trafficking operation. Well, now
we find out ABC News is even reporting that it

(20:38):
was the Biden FBI that ordered the troopers to let
him go. You know, every time Christopher Ray would go
before Congress, the last six seven times in his CYA briefings,
it's never been as bad. Well, then, why are you
letting unvetted illegal immigrants, those that the cop believes is
involved and looks like it was a of obvious human trafficking?

(21:01):
Why would you order them to let them go? We
have the body camera footage. It was twenty twenty two,
Tennessee State troopers, after questioning a Brego Garcia, discussed among
themselves their suspicions of human trafficking nine people traveling without
luggage of Breago Garcia, and then he even said, yeah,
I guarantee you that if we checked their pocket, they

(21:23):
have a toothbrush and toothpaste, which is a dead giveaway.
The offers that the officers issued no speeding ticket allowed
a Brego Garcia to drive on with just a warning
about his expired driver's license. According to the report, the
Tennessee Highway Patrol troopers had contacted federal authorities before making
that decision, and the Tennessee Highway Patrol confirmed that this

(21:47):
traffic stop that took place on I forty and quote
per standard protocol, Tennessee Highway Patrol contacted federal law enforcement
authorities with the Biden FBI, the agency of jurisdiction supremacy clause,
who made the decision not to detain them. But that

(22:08):
was every day. His twelve year old Biden illegal busted
in this violent subway mugging last August, released with a
slap on the wrist. Now being accused of being part
of a rowty mob that attacked these NYPD cops in
Times Square over the weekend. You know this perpetrator believed
to be the ringleader, a kid of this migrant robbery

(22:30):
crew behind a string of muggings in Central Park in
which several people had their cell phones while it's jewelry
stolen last summer eleven years old, making headlines you know
and baby face Sure no serious consequences thanks to the
state's lax juvenile justice system. People asked why did you
leave New York. I need to keep reminding people. By

(22:54):
the way, Rwandan officials have confirmed that the East African
nation is in the early stages of the talks with
the Trump administration about accepting unwanted deportees after Al Salvador
recently entered into a similar agreement with the United States.
They want a good relationship with the US. One Biden
illegal charge with raping and murdering a Georgia grandmother. This

(23:17):
story comes to US Visa v the Daily Caller. Illegal
alien released into the US Biden administration not guilty Monday.
He pled to the brutal murder of a Georgia grandmother.
Twenty one year old Honduran national unlawfully entered the country
several years ago. Pled not guilty to killing this fifty

(23:38):
two year old grandma, mother of five. According to Cobb
County Superior Court documents, unbelievable. Now being accused of rape, necrophilia,
other gruesome charges involving the incident. Blood on their hands,
all of them. Border Patrol did round up forty eight
illegal immigrants on a highway interdiction operation. This was called

(24:03):
Operation Magnolia. This interdiction operation resulted in the apprehension of
fifty illegals from Mexico, Nicotagua, Kazakhstan, Hondura's, Columbia, Guatemala. In
the last week of April. Three US citizens also arrested.
If you attempt to smuggle narcotics, contraband the illegal aliens
through Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, you will be caught, You will

(24:24):
be prosecuted, you will be put in jail. According to
Adam Calderson, New Orleans Sector Acting Chief Patrol Agent said
in a statement, US border patrols committed to enforcing our
nation's laws as they kind of should be, don't you
think kind of basic one oh one? Keep people safe
and by the way, the Trump administration is now taking

(24:47):
major steps to change deportation efforts by deputizing law enforcement
across the country to carry out immigration enforcement. That is
a big development, as well as self deporting opportunities that
were given yesterday. I think smart. We'll have an update
from Congressman Jason Smith on this one big, beautiful bill

(25:07):
which will extend the Trump tax cuts, no tax on tip,
social Security, or overtime, which I like a lot. I
think it's going to be good for the hard working
men and women. Michelle Obama whining that it costs a
lot of money in the White House. The Obamas went
into the White House millionaires that by the time he
left he went from one point three million in networth

(25:28):
to seventy million dollars. And she's complaining. Now she's admitting
she is transitioning not that way easy. Now I'm reading
from an article as a mom of two, and I've
finished a really hard thing in my life with my
family intact. I'm an empty nester. My girls are in,

(25:49):
you know, they've been launched. And she acknowledges she has
other voices to talk to and a new person that's
getting to know me as she navigates life outside of
public service. I'm getting that tune up for the next
phase because I believe this is a whole another phase
of life for me. I now have the wisdom to know,
let me get some coaching while I'm doing it. So

(26:10):
she's getting therapy. Okay, good for her, she needs help.
I do not think it's a bad thing for people
that think that they need therapy. For Democrats fighting amongst themselves, left,
right and sideways. You know, Gavin Newsom is we need
to do a forensics on why we lost. Probably not
a bad idea. But don't think for a second that

(26:30):
he's not thinking about himself right now. But the real
leadership of the Democratic Party is the left wing. Gavin
Newsom is his biggest problem if he wants to make
that run will be his own record. Gasmin Crockett doesn't
know if she's the future of the Democratic Party, and

(26:52):
she said, look, I mean I look at Democrats. They
were totally in disarrayed. Trump said, anyway, Crockett said, I
don't know that I'm the future of the Democrat Party,
but I do know that in this moment, we need
people that are unafraid and willing to go after the
administration for the good of the entirety of the country.
I want to make sure we're shining a light on
all the darkness that they are bringing to the country.
Right now, I'd say that the darkness happened in their error.

(27:16):
We'll get into every Democrat now that is that they are.
I didn't know. I had no idea that Joe was
a cognitive mess. Okay, we only played it every day
even before the election. The prosecutor who let Eslo Vandal
off easy is now under a DJ probe. Good our
meet Dylan announcing Saturday, the DOJ will review the new

(27:37):
policy at the Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty's office to
see whether the officer is engaged in a pattern or
practice of depriving persons of rights, et cetera, et cetera.
We'll find out what happens there. There's a lot going
on on the national stage that we need to pay
attention to. I do think the President's patients with Vladimir

(28:01):
Putin is coming to an end. I do think that
the American people are sick of this war, and I
think that they realize that it's it's got to come
to an end, and a Putin won't be a part
of it. I would expect that the tone is going
to shift very harshly with actions behind it towards Ukraine

(28:27):
and America. Now under President Trump is providing an iron
dome for Ukraine. Trump will accept total dismantlement of Iran's
nuclear program and if that, if that's not possible, the
President has been very clear he will act. And some
people say, well, that's not Trumpian. Oh, I'm just telling

(28:48):
you what Trump said. Do I think even though it
would be Joe Biden's fault, it really would if they
got because they got rich under Biden because he got
rid of the sanctions. Even if it happened, they would
just want to blame Trump for That is the one
difference with the iranium mullas and even people as horrible

(29:09):
as Putin and and Kim Jong un and other countries
that have nuclear capability. The one big difference is the
caliphate mentality Convert or die, you know, the belief that
you're rewarded in heaven if you kill the infidels. That
is not a small issue. That is a huge issue.

(29:30):
By the way, the New York Times hitting the panic button,
even though Donald Trump said he's really not thinking about
a third term over the weekend. Did they not understand
that this late hour of Donald Trump's presidency, that he
prolls them constantly? Did they not understand that part They're
having a hard time understanding why they're so dumb, and
this is this is why they always revert to form

(29:52):
and they go back into just Trump hate rage arrangement.
One way to save money and one may way to
not sacrifice service, make the switch to pure talk. The
beauty of pure talk is they use these same Excel towers,
same five gen network as the big carriers Verizon AT
and T and T Mobile. And by the way, you

(30:13):
might want to get your new cell phone before there
might be a price increase with this current battle with
China going on. Hopefully that comes to an end, but
in the meantime it's ongoing and a lot of people say, well,
does pure talk give out free phones? They actually do,
but the difference is you don't need four lines to
get it, you don't need an activation fee. I urge

(30:33):
you to read the fine print, and you don't pay
for services that you'll never want, need or use your
entire time or a three year deally have to sign
you make the switch to Pure Talk. They'll give you
a brand new Samsung Galaxy for free, and their plans
started just thirty five bucks a month. You get unlimited
talk and text, fifteen gigs of data, mobile hotspot roaming
on America's most dependable five gen network thirty five bucks

(30:55):
a month. A month average family of four for the
same service now paying or saving it over one thousand
dollars a year. That's real money. The switch is simple,
it's fast, it's easy. Pound two to fifty on your
cell phone keywords save now pound two to fifty keywords
save now from Pure Talk, America's wireless company. All Right,

(31:16):
the President said, there's going to be a big announcement
before a trip to the Middle East. What is it
when we come back? Chairman Jason Smith on the Big
Beautiful Bill

I interview experts, celebrities, thought leaders and athletes so that we can grow our mindset, build better habits and uncover a side of them we’ve never seen before. New episodes every Monday and Friday. Your support means the world to me and I don’t take it for granted — click the follow button and leave a review to help us spread the love with On Purpose. I can’t wait for you to listen to your first or 500th episode!
