Speaker 1 (00:00):
Coming up next our final news round Up and Information
Overload Hour. All right, do just round up and Information
Overload Hour this Friday. All your calls coming up for
the better part of the hour. Eight hundred and ninety
four to one, Shawn is a number if you want
to be a part of the program. Before we get
to that, we've been telling you about our wonderful partnership Puretalk.

(00:22):
I mean, it's insane if you don't make the switch,
because you get the same cell towers, you get the
same five G network as AT and T, Verizon T Mobile.
It's a veteran owned company, the same exact service, and
you pay about half the price. Average family saves a
grandy year or very close to it, some say more
for the exact same service. It's insane, and it's even

(00:44):
better than now to now make the switch because through
the fourth of July, our friends at pure Talk have
partnered with this amazing organization and that's called America's Warrior Partnership,
which help veterans that are in real deep need and
facing issues including PTSD. But beyond that, veterans suicide is

(01:08):
a real national tragedy, and we don't take care of
our nation's VETS, and so we fully support Pure Talk
and what they're doing and what their mission is. And
just by making the switch, they're donating money in your
name on your behalf. I mean, it's pretty amazing. And
I just wanted to give a shout out to Clint

(01:28):
roma Schet who's with us. He's a former staff sergeant
Medal of Honor recipient, completely dedicating his lives to vets
and helping them when they get state side and all
the problems that they're facing. And anyway, his advocacy has
led him into this partnership with our friends of Pure Talk.

(01:48):
And there's this overlook crisis that's been unfolding in our country,
and it's veterans suicide and PTSD on top of it.
And one of the most pressing issues confronting our nation's
vets is the dire need for effective.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Suicide prevention measures.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Let me just say this on a personal note. I
have had people contact me over the years, family members
or people themselves, and they will tell me either a
family member, a friend, or they themselves are really seriously
thinking about suicide. I don't know if any of you

(02:25):
have ever had that call. If you want to get sick,
to your stomach and just feel the weight of the
world on your shoulders and just pray to God that
he will give you the right words to help somebody.
It's not an experience that you ever want to go through,
but honest, to be honest, the fact that I can

(02:46):
get involved and we have successfully been able to get
people the help that they need and not have a
life lost, especially the life of a hero, is amazing.
All So, I'm going to give a shout out to
somebody else here. My go to on issues like this
has always been Colonel Oliver North, and I'd call Colonel

(03:09):
North Colonel I got a problem. There is a family,
they have a family member, they have a friend that's
on the verge of suicide. And the first thing I'd
always say, get me their number, get me on the
phone with them right now. I can tell you I
know instances he has spent over ten straight hours on

(03:31):
the phone with somebody and as personally guaranteed that they
get the help that they need and help save their lives.
And years later, he would you report back to me,
remember that person we talked to, you know, back whenever. Yeah,
they're okay, they're doing well, They've recovered. But there are

(03:52):
people doing great work to help that, and Clint Roma
is one of them, and he has been amazing working
with the American Warrior Partnership. And we're proud of our
friends with Pure Talk, a veteran owned company, for also helping. Anyway,
it's an honor to meet you, Clint. I'm sure you
have experienced a lot more of what I just described.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
Well, I appreciate you having me on the phone today,
mister Hannity. It's a true honor and a privilege to
talk about such an important thing as our veterans suicide
and our veterans around this nation.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
Well, you know, how many times can you even count
have you had an experience like I've described?

Speaker 3 (04:34):
You know, it's unfortunately far too often. And it's one
of those things that as time has gone on and
we you know, pulled out of some of these major
conflicts and our short term memory loss kicks in, we
forget about all of those men and women that are
you know, that have came back from that and now
we're trying to just live for tomorrow and then struggling

(04:54):
with all their all their different you know, challenges they
face and and we kind of since it's not right here,
and now it's easily forgotten. And as we've got more
servicemen and women that are joining and going over their
issues they face every day. And it's, you know, one
of those amazing things that I've always been a firm
believer that the best problems are solved, you learned at
the military solve it at the lowest level. And that's

(05:16):
what's been great with Themerical Warrior Partnership is partnering with
local communities to prevent veterans suicide. You know, we we
connect veterans in their local community, We educate the nonprofits
in an area that can step in and help. We collaborate,
we advocate, and we can't solve the problem at a
local level, we step it up to the next level
until we get that that service manner.

Speaker 1 (05:38):
Well, so you don't you don't give up until the
help is given. You just don't give up.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
It's it's one of those you never get anything alone
in the military, and that's that's the thing I've seen
the trend kind of sneak up the most is that
isolation and feeling like there's no one out there for you.
And like I said, you always had a battle buddy.
No matter what you were doing, and anything you did
in the military, you always had your battles to your
left and right because you take the uniform off. I
just would like our veterans to know that you're never alone.

(06:04):
You're never going to be alone. You've got a battlebody
there that's going to step up and help you along,
to help you carry that rock. But it's it's unfortunate
that a lot of times our VA system looks at
it as just a mental health issue and they think,
you know, let's prescribe a pill or something. But it's
it's more than that. It's actually having you know, hope
and a future, and it's helping with housing, it's helping

(06:25):
with employment. It's having meaningful employment, not just having a job.
It's relationship, you know, it's it's education's and it's dealing
with benefits earned and that sense of not wanting to
be a problem. So why would you bug someone with it?
And that's not the case at all. And it's it's
been great to see the partnership with Americal Warrior Partnership
and the Pure Talks stepping in and so many great

(06:46):
customers doing the roundup to help provide the funding to
help advocate and collaborate and educate.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
You know, I'll tell you a story to change my
life on this issue of suicide that I've told it before,
but not very often. I don't even want to. I
don't like to remember. But I was on the air.
I was a local radio host in Atlanta and a guy,
a regular caller, calls in and you know, I won't
give his name, and and he goes, hey, man, I

(07:16):
just wanted to call you and say, uh, goodbye. I said,
what do you mean goodbye? And he goes, no, no,
I'm checking out. I'm out, And I'm like, but you're moving.
You know, I didn't get it right away. And then
over time, in the course of the call, he admitted
that he just took a bottle of pills and that

(07:36):
he drank a bottle of a court of vodka or
some insane amount of vodka, and that he was just
saying goodbye to me. And I was I was stunned. Thankfully,
I had a program director, Eric Sidell. We called him
slug O, and he was listening and he said, keep
him on the line, no matter what you do, and

(08:00):
that message was relayed to me and we didn't go
to any breaks, and we you know, didn't go to news,
and we just stayed on the line and we talked
a long time. We just stayed with them, and I
just was like telling them everything I could possibly think of.
What about your family, what about people that love you?
You know, what impact is this going to have? And
just you know, trying to get out of him a location.

(08:22):
And it took some time, and I said, just tell
me where you are. Please, just tell me where you are.
And he finally gave up his location. And what was
amazing to me, and I realized, maybe this job on
radio is a little more serious than I had taken
it up to that point in my life. As early
in my career, I realized the power of radio and

(08:45):
the power of an audience. Because within seconds, I mean
cars and even an ambulance that ambulance drivers were listening.
They descended upon this guy, got him in the ambulance,
got him to the hospital. Well, all of the that
he had told me was true. He did take a
bottle of pills, he would have died. And then, you know,

(09:07):
maybe it was a year or two later I got
a call back from him, and thank god, he had
gotten all the help that he needed and his life
was in a better place and he was on a
better track, and it.

Speaker 2 (09:18):
Just woke me up. I can't it kind of shocked
my soul.

Speaker 1 (09:22):
And then to get these calls from veterans as I
have over the years, I'll be honest, I don't know
why they'd reach out to me.

Speaker 2 (09:30):
I'm honored that they do, and the.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
Fact that I have the resources to get you know,
people that have been there with purple hearts like Ali
North to devote all the time on the phone as
possible to help save their life, you know, and has
done so successfully more but honestly, more times than I
can count. You know, it doesn't make me feel good.
It makes me feel relieved because you just feel the

(09:55):
sense of pressure that you know, God, please don't do this. Please.
You know things will be better. You know it doesn't
look good today, but they'll be better. Maybe not tomorrow,
but it'll be eventually be better. And that's what you're
doing every day. So I really applaud what you're doing.

Speaker 3 (10:12):
I appreciate that, and I appreciate all your support and
help on this issue. As I I mean, I've looked
at my friends and other veterans that I've came across.
You know, it's again that sense of hopelessness, and I
think for a lot of Americans too, it's you don't
know where to get started, where to help, and it's
you know, we can't do everything. But if we're all
doing a little bit, and it's sitting there listening to

(10:33):
some of the things that aren't said, that's a big indicator.
I know for guys I've dealt with, it's hearing what
they're saying, but it's more about the pauses and the
in betweens that kind of key you in that maybe
something more is going on and building that relationship. That's key,
And just like you kind of describe there, it's that
trust that you've got in your audience that people truly

(10:53):
believe that you're there to help. And that's an amazing
benefit and an amazing thing to just have and.

Speaker 4 (10:59):
Be part does.

Speaker 1 (11:01):
Yeah, I can't imagine, you know, somebody being in that position,
but I please keep up the good work. If this
audience wants to help you in the America's America American
Warrior partnership. Beyond partnering with Pure Talk as their carrier,
how do they do it?

Speaker 3 (11:17):
Well, they can go directly to the American Warrior Partnership
website to read all this great stuff we're doing there.
And like I said, again with the partnership with Pure Talk,
new customers joining on there. I've got six kids, so
of course that's the cell phone plan we rolled through,
because that cell phone plans get very expensive. And like

(11:39):
just a great company there with that because they're they're
veteran lads, Vetian owned, all US based, So when you
call and you need a little help, you're you're talking
to someone here in the US providing jobs just all around. Again,
like I described, you know, you don't have to wear
that uniform to help this nation or to be a
patriot or to serve it's by doing all those little things.

(12:00):
And it's great to see so many patriotic Americans that
maybe the never put that uniform mom still finance sense
of service by doing whatever they can those little things
all together so we can do better.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
I appreciate all that you're doing. We really do.

Speaker 1 (12:15):
Clint Romache, thank you, my friend. All right, quick break
right back, we'll continue, We'll get to your calls. Eight
hundred and nine four one sean final half hour on
the program. On this Friday, we got an amazing Hannitay
tonight nine eastern on Fox. Please set your DVR Monday
through Friday, nine eastern so you never ever, ever ever
as an episode. As we continue hight to our busy phones,

(12:37):
we go, Let's go to the great crazy city of Vegas.
Hey don Radio, Barry, You're up next. How are you, Barry?

Speaker 5 (12:45):
Hey, Sean, I'm doing great. Thanks for taking the call,
and bless you for being the spokesman for a lot
of patriotic people. I never ever ever miss your program
because they use DVR.

Speaker 2 (13:00):
I'm very very honored. Thank you, my friend. God bless you.

Speaker 5 (13:03):
Thank you. So I'm calling in because yesterday was the
anniversary of D Day and my father was an integral
part of Operation Overlord. He was with the Signal Corps
in World War Two and was scheduled to photograph the

(13:24):
invasion on D Day, and because of the chaos of
war and circumstances, his landing craft, which was scheduled it
was about fifth in q for the invasion, it was
capsized because of German firing from the shore and everyone

(13:47):
in his craft as navy craft, was thrown into the
water and fortunately he and the others were rescued by
rangers that were passing by, and he was deposited on
the beach about ten out ten minutes before eight hours.

(14:07):
So according to documents and newspaper articles, he was the
first American photographer to be on Omaha Beach on d
Day and he photographed some of the first scenes.

Speaker 1 (14:22):
I think back and I look at the video of this.
I mean, it's unbelievable. And if you haven't watched Saving
Private Ryan, go back. And you know, two great movies
that Steven Spielberg did. I don't really give a rip
about his politics. He did great work. And one is
Saving Private Ryan, the other Shindler's List. I recommend, highly

(14:43):
recommend you go back, even if you watch to watch
it again. Sounds like your dad was a real hero.
Berry take a bow. You come, you know. I mean,
they don't make them like that anymore, or like my dad.
God bless you, my friend. Eight hundred ninety four one, Shawn.
On this Friday, if you want to be a part
of the program, we'll just do your call's final half
hour of the show. All right, to our busy phones,

(15:04):
we go. Wayne is in Pennsylvania. Wayne, Hi, how are you.
Glad you called. Thanks for checking in. Happy Friday, Sean, thanks.

Speaker 6 (15:12):
For taking my call. I have a question for you. You've
been very easy on the Democrats, and they have not
been very easy on President Donald J.

Speaker 1 (15:25):
How could you say I've been easy on the Democrats.
I know where this is coming from and has definitely
been a misinformation campaign. But I'm going to correct it
right now, once and for all.

Speaker 2 (15:35):
But go ahead.

Speaker 1 (15:35):
I want you to get it all out there because
I'm not easy on the Democrats.

Speaker 6 (15:40):
Let me make my point. There's got to be a
breaking point for you when you say, all right, it's
time to take the gloves off. And I think that
breaking point is going to be July eleventh. And let
me make my point here. I've been in advertising for
over forty years and I kind of know how to
read people and read an audience. And I do believe

(16:04):
the Democrats have their narrative that he's a convicted felon.
Now they need their visual and the visual is orange man,
orange jumpsuit. And I think he's going to be doing
sometime when Biden comes out and says I will not
pardon my son, and I think the evidence is overwhelming

(16:25):
his son vied on that form. So I think his
son is going to be convicted. And the only thing
that Democrats.

Speaker 2 (16:32):
I'm not so sure of that, but go keep going.

Speaker 6 (16:35):
I don't want to interrupt, And I think what's going
to happen is he's going to get it. Hunter's going
to get it easy sentenced. But it's going to be
the narrative. Well, my son's not above the law. Okay, fine,
So now you have this period of time, a couple
of weeks JULYA. Lennon comes and the only you know,

(16:56):
you look at and I don't know how much you
believe the polls. You look got how much money Trump
raised after he was convicted. The Democrats see that and
they're saying, man, we're in hot water here. We got
to do something. The last thing they could do is
have Donald Trump convicted and placed. Like Adam said, Rikers

(17:18):
Island is ready to go. So and you know, Sean,
I have been an advertising I have some ideas for
Trump that I'd like to share with one. Well, there,
but what are your thoughts?

Speaker 1 (17:33):
Well, first, let me remind you that everything that they've
ever done, as evidenced by the polls. Today, Trump is
leading Biden in Arizona and Nevada, and he's tied in Virginia, Okay,
And so let's just start there. And two national polls
have come out post conviction that show him ahead every

(17:53):
I have used the term repeatedly. He defies all conventional
political gravity. And I'll tell you why, because Americans see
this for what it is. Now, when you're saying to
me that I'm not fighting back, is there anybody that
has been well, First of all, let's go back to
the beginning. You know, do you know how much crap

(18:15):
I took in twenty fifteen and sixteen when I first
supported Donald Trump. How many of my fellow conservatives, the
most maga of all maga Now, Johnny come lately, magas
were like ripping my head off on a daily basis
on air. I'm not sure if you're aware of it,

(18:37):
but I stuck to my guns. Okay, I stuck to
my guns. And I think I've been proven correct. Would
you agree with that?

Speaker 6 (18:44):
Yes, Sean? And I know you have a good heart.

Speaker 2 (18:47):
Well, I'm not asking about my heart. I want to talk.

Speaker 1 (18:49):
I want to address what you're kind of accusing me
of here now, because I think we have an issue
definition of terms issue that we need resolved once and
for all.

Speaker 6 (18:59):
Okay, And you know, and I know you don't jump
because you always want to so call unpeel that onion.
And I know you want to wait. And I think
July eleventh is going to be a point where you're
going to say enough is enough. When they call it
deplorables and they don't even know us. Hillary doesn't know me,

(19:19):
why would you call me a deplorable? I mean that's offensive.

Speaker 1 (19:23):
So you're one of these irredeemable deplorables that cling to
your God, guns, Bible of the religion.

Speaker 2 (19:29):
I get it.

Speaker 1 (19:30):
But now for just track with me, because I want
to answer your question. You said something that's not true,
and I would go back and say, let's look at
my track record supporting Trump early, taking crap for it.

Speaker 2 (19:43):
I'll be honest.

Speaker 1 (19:44):
I think were it not for this show and Hannity,
the TV show, the three long years of lies that
were peddled, and the double standard in our justice system
when it came to you know, Hillary Clinton, no reasonable
prosecutor would process the dirty dossier. You know, the money
funneled from a law firm, by the way labeled the

(20:05):
business expense. It was not and she was fined by
the FEC, but not charge of course or upcharged and
no misdemeanor. Nothing, thirty three thousand deleted emails. We led
the way with my ensemble cast. I can't mention everyone's
name now, it'll take too long. Then we had impeachment one.
Then we had impeachment too, and I was there every

(20:26):
step of the way. Now I'm going to tell you
what you're referring to. You're referring to you don't think
I'm tough enough because I will not support law fare.
This is where we're getting into a definition of terms issue.
If you're asking me whether or not people that have

(20:46):
committed crimes, for example, we've investigated and we'll see what
happens eventually. You know, the Biden family and the monies
that they received with no background and no experiences at
a time when for example, Hunters addicted to drugs and
I hope that he stays clean, but that at the

(21:07):
time he admitted he had no experience and energy oil
gas call, and then you know, here comes Biden leveraging
a billion taxpayer dollars. Do you think there's anybody in
the country that has hit that legal issue as hard
as me.

Speaker 6 (21:20):
Do you think so, Sean, believe me if it wasn't
for you, No.

Speaker 1 (21:23):
No, you got to you got to track with me.
I don't need your comment. Is there anybody that hit
that issue harder? This is important, of course. So you
think I hit it the.

Speaker 2 (21:32):
Hardest, you hit it the hardest, But I think Okay, Now,
with the definition of terms, just track with me. I'll
give you. I promise. I'm going to give you more time.
I promise. Okay, Okay, So now let's let's backtrack.

Speaker 1 (21:45):
When I say I don't believe in law fair or
the weaponization of our justice system. That I believe in
equal justice and equal application of our laws, and I
believe in the fidelity of our precious constitution.

Speaker 2 (22:04):
That does not.

Speaker 1 (22:05):
Negate the illegal activities that I believe need to be
investigated and charged based on what we now know to
be facts. So please understand the distinction. What they did
to Donald Trump in New York, be it the civil
case where they evaluation case where mar A Lago was

(22:27):
valuated by the judge at eighteen million, That is law fair.
That is the weaponization of our justice system and how
it's been politicized. If you look at this case with
Alvin Bragg, without repeating every single thing that I've been
repeated for weeks. That is law fair, that is you know,
that wouldn't have happened to anybody but Donald Trump. Now,

(22:49):
do I want Republicans to do that as a means
of revenge? No, I will answer straight up front, because
that would be a shredding of our constitution and I
have a fidelity to that. Should real crimes that I
believe have been committed on a very high level in

(23:12):
a multitude of areas that I have chronicled in depth
comprehensively on this show and on TV, should they.

Speaker 2 (23:21):
Be investigated and prosecuted. Absolutely.

Speaker 1 (23:25):
And you know you're assuming because I say, you know,
I don't support going after people for nothing or making
it up. You don't have to make it up with
them because they've done it. So I think we're kind
of talking over each other here, and maybe I've not
been clear enough and that's my fault because I'm a
communicator and I should communicate it better. Does that make

(23:48):
Does that make sense to you? Does that make you
feel better?

Speaker 6 (23:50):
I agree they shouldn't create a crime. They should thank
you well where the crime is, and then thank.

Speaker 1 (23:56):
You and if and if we did it the other way,
the way they do it, what is going to happen
to our our constitution and our republic. We will cease
to be a democratic republic at that point.

Speaker 2 (24:08):
Do you agree with that?

Speaker 4 (24:10):
No?

Speaker 2 (24:10):
If we if we make.

Speaker 6 (24:12):
It up, we'll play the game fairly, and thank you willing.
If they're not willing to play the game fairly, that's fine.
But I just hope.

Speaker 1 (24:24):
Trump this constitution is I believe inspired we the people.
That means the rule of law. And there's a lot
of the list of things that we need to investigate
and I believe ultimately prosecute is so long. You don't
have to make anything up. You just don't. And I've

(24:46):
covered them all comprehensively and extensively. Am I being a
little more clear than maybe you thought I was being?

Speaker 2 (24:53):
Now?

Speaker 6 (24:55):
No, no, no, you definitely clarified it. And I appreciate
you having Trump on last couple of nights that sit
down one on one. That definitely opens a lot of
people's eyes.

Speaker 1 (25:06):
He's I asked him, you know people are accusing you
of this, would would you ever do this?

Speaker 2 (25:12):
He goes, it has to stop.

Speaker 1 (25:15):
He's talking about weaponization of justice, not real justice. Now
there is cause for real investigation and real prosecution. I
think it is obvious, it is transparent. That's not what
he went through. There's the distinction. We're we're we're not
going to We're not going to sell our soul and
sacrifice the rule of law because out of revenge. I'm

(25:40):
not willing to do that, and I think you're not
willing to do it either.

Speaker 6 (25:44):
Now. I believe his line. Success is the best revenge.
I believe if we're a successful country, that is the
best revenge against the Democrats.

Speaker 1 (25:54):
All Right, I appreciate you giving me an opportunity to
clarify it, because you know, I think you know I'm
reading you know, I mean I don't. Sweet Baby James
hands me this. I look at it and I'm like, yeah,
they don't know what the hell they're talking about, and
I throw it in the garbage. I what I'm focused
in on right now is one hundred and fifty days

(26:15):
from now, and yes, should there be accountability for people
that abused power, didn't know, that did not obey the
laws of this country. Should they be held responsible and accountable. Yes,
But that's what a constitutional republic calls for. It doesn't
call for making Adam ship uf up. That's what the

(26:39):
Democrats have been doing.

Speaker 2 (26:40):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (26:41):
And if you gotta have one standard to raid bar
A Lago, that standard needs to be applied to Joe
Biden and Hillary Clinton.

Speaker 2 (26:49):
Okay, Now, am I crystal clear?
