Right Power two Sean Hannity Show, eight hundred ninefolt one, Shawn,
if you want to be a part of the program,
and I know the President soon at Fort Bragg is
going to be speaking there, but that's a little different speech.
There were some very pointed questions on the issue of
the LA debacle of Gavin Newsom out there. The President

(00:21):
made some comments earlier is in the Oval office about
ten minutes. I want to play this for you so
you can get into the president's mindset about where he
stands and why he's being proactive rather than reactive, and
then we'll get to your calls on the other side.
Eight hundred ninefolt one, Sean, as we continue.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
About the Insurrection Act to deal with the situation in California.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
If there's an insurrection, I would certainly invoke it. We'll see,
but I can tell you last night was terrible. The
night before that was terrible. We have, as you said,
it was on most of your networks, people with big
heavy hammers pounding the concrete and pounding curves, pounding and
breaking up and handing these big chunks of concrete to people,

(01:10):
and they would take you that concrete going up in
bridges and dropping it into the roof of a car.
They were throwing it at our police. They were throwing
it at our soldiers that are there, and we got
it stopped and we have them in custody right now.

Speaker 4 (01:25):
Look, if we didn't get involved right now.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
Los Angeles would be burning, just like it was burning
a number of months ago, with all the houses that
were lost. Los Angeles right now would be on fire.
And we have it in great shape. I'm not playing around.

Speaker 5 (01:41):
Will you determine whether or not there is an insurrection.

Speaker 4 (01:45):
Well, you take a look at what's happening.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
I mean, I could tell you there are certain areas
of that of Los Angeles as you could have called
it an insurrection. It was terrible. But these are paid
insurrection as. These are paid troublemakers. They get money. And
when you take a look at with it where they
show up and everyone say, what's he doing? He's pounding
the curbs. This one guy's pounding the curb, breaking the

(02:07):
curb and handing big pieces of granite. In some cases
it's granted, granted and concrete to other people and they're
running out with it. And then we watch the other
people and they try and throw it into the face
of the soldiers, throw it into the face of the police,
and they have.

Speaker 4 (02:25):
Some people very badly.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
They go up on bridges, they drop it down on
the cars as the cars are moving. They're not breaking
the curb because they're doing a demolition service. They're breaking
it to handout to people as a weapon as bad stuff.
I've never seen that before.

Speaker 4 (02:42):
How soon do you want to see FIMA eliminated?

Speaker 5 (02:45):
And what's your message to the governor's about how much
more of an expense it's going to hold a state?

Speaker 3 (02:49):
Yeah, well, it's not going to be so much the stage.
We're going to give out less money. We're going to
give it out directly. It'll be from the President's office.
We'll have somebody here, could be homeland security. But we're
going to give it out through a method where it's
given out.

Speaker 4 (03:03):
As an example, I just gave.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
Out seventy one million dollars to a certain state. They
were looking to do about one hundred and twenty. They
were very happy with the seventy one million. We did
a little cutting and they were very happy with it.
So we're going to do it much Everly, we think
after this Christian I'd say after the hurricane season, we'll yes, okay,
you set.

Speaker 6 (03:25):
Up a FEMA council.

Speaker 7 (03:26):
Over the next couple of months, we'll be working on
reforms and what FEMA will look like in the future
as a different agency as under the Department of Homeland
Security to the President's vision, and it will empower governors
to go out and respond to emergency situations. And that
what the President does best is to make sure that
the taxpayers are only fulfilling the need to which is appropriate,

(03:49):
and that people are responsible to respond to their own
people closest to home.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
So if a certain state, as an example, gets hit
by a hurricane or Tony.

Speaker 4 (03:58):
That's what governors be able to handle it.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
And frankly, if they can handle it the aftermath, then
maybe they shouldn't be governor.

Speaker 8 (04:06):
And as the.

Speaker 5 (04:07):
President, when is the last time you spoke of governors.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
A day ago, called him up to tell them got
to do a better job. He is doing a bad job,
causing a lot.

Speaker 4 (04:19):
Of death and a lot of potential death.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
If we didn't send out the National Guard, and last
time we gave him a little additional help, you would
have Los Angeles would be burning right now.

Speaker 4 (04:31):
Los Angeles would be not a lot different than what
you saw.

Speaker 3 (04:35):
Take place in California and Los Angeles just.

Speaker 4 (04:38):
A little while ago.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
And you know, you got to remember, we have the
Olympics coming and we don't want people looking at Los
Angeles like it was like it would have been.

Speaker 4 (04:47):
It would have been bad last night.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
They had total control if we didn't have the military
in there, the National Guard, and then we also set
in some marines. We had some bad people. We have
people they look in your face and the right in
your face.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
They're animals.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
And these are paid insurrectionists. These are paid trouble makers.
They're agitators. They're paid. Do you think somebody walks up
to a curb and starts hammering pieces out as all
the equipment necessary and starts handing it out to people
to use as a weapon. These are paid insurrectionists or

(05:22):
agitators or trouble makers, you can call it whatever you want.
And we ended it, and we have in custody some
very bad people, some very bad people. Did you see
the guy throwing the rocks at the police cars as
they went by and crushing their windows and endangering our police.

Speaker 4 (05:41):
We're not going to let that happen, you.

Speaker 5 (05:42):
Know, Apart we spread it on those Marines. Governorsoen has
described them as political ponds.

Speaker 4 (05:48):
I'm curious for your reaction to that, and what you
see is the marine's role and what are their rules
of engagement.

Speaker 3 (05:52):
All I want is safety. I just want a safe
area we have. Los Angeles was under siege until we
got there. The police were unable to handle it. You
could speak to the chief. He sent it on television
three nights ago. He said, this is this is more
than we can handle. They said that, and the LA police.
I know a lot of the police in LA the good.

(06:13):
They're great people, but they given instructions not to do this,
not to do that. But in this case they were
trying their best. They were not able to handle it. It
was out of control when we got there. And you
have to remember, I've been here before and I went
right by every rule, and I waited for governors to

(06:33):
say send in the national guard. They wouldn't do it,
they wouldn't do it, and they just wouldn't do it.
He kept going on and on, got worse and worse,
and in Minneapolis, that city was burning down seven days.
And I said, I don't care the governor. Who's a
governor that just happened to be running for vice president.
The total you talk about an incompetent governor, he's an

(06:54):
incompetent person that he was picked.

Speaker 4 (06:57):
Well, I was actually very happy he was picker.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
The reasons, but this guy wouldn't call the National Guard,
and we ultimately just sent in the National Guard. We
stopped it, but that was after seven days, and I
said to myself, if that stuff happens again, we've.

Speaker 4 (07:14):
Got to make faster decisions because they don't want to
do it. They radical left.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
It's usually radical left, and it's usually governors that are Democrat,
and they don't want to call them in.

Speaker 4 (07:25):
They don't want.

Speaker 3 (07:25):
To save lives, they don't want to save property, they
don't want to call them in. I don't know what
it is. We send them in, not early, We set
them in late, as far as I'm concerned, but big problems.
As you know, three nights ago, big problems were ensuing.
If we didn't send in the National Guard quickly, right now,
Los Angeles would be burning to the ground.

Speaker 5 (07:46):
The mares is a lot of people take an escalatory step,
though these are guys who fight wars. Are you at
all concerned that things could get out of hand with marine.

Speaker 3 (07:53):
When I see people throwing concrete into cars, When I
see people the kind of people that I saw on
your network doing danger to the police and to the
military and to the National Guard, now it's okay. You know,
you start running out of people when you have two
thousand people from this National Guard standpoint. We have a

(08:13):
very big military, but the National Guard they needed a
little extra help, and we sent them a little and
we did a great job. Last night we had well,
you have a lot of cars go up in smoke
and flame, and had a lot of bad scenes, but
it was it was pretty minor by comparison. This morning,
it's very calm. We'll see what happens later. But they

(08:36):
know if they go there, they're not going to get
anywhere because we have the National Guard that we backed it.

Speaker 4 (08:39):
Up with a number of marines.

Speaker 5 (08:42):
President These protests obviously started in reaction to these large
scale ice operations in Los Angeles. Should people expect to
see similar operations in the rest of.

Speaker 4 (08:50):
The country and we'll similar protests.

Speaker 3 (08:53):
Decis you know, we're moving murderers out of our country
that were put here by Biden or the Autopen. The
autopen really did the people whether it's Lisa Monaco or
whoever operated the auto pen.

Speaker 4 (09:04):
These are criminals.

Speaker 3 (09:05):
The people are criminals that allowed these criminals into our country.
And I don't think that Biden knew what the hell
he was doing. I don't think even knew about it.

Speaker 4 (09:14):
But when they.

Speaker 3 (09:14):
Opened up our borders for the whole world to come in,
We're going to get him out. We're getting them out.
We're starting to get acknowledgment from the courts that you know,
as a system, they come in without courts and they
go up there after they want trials and everything else.
I think that's starting to work out now. Judges are
starting to see what a terrible situation. And as many
of those people that you saw on television last night

(09:38):
are criminals that were allowed into our country by Biden.

Speaker 4 (09:42):
And they want to stay and we don't want them.

Speaker 3 (09:45):
And they come from jails, and they come from mental institutions,
and they come from all over the world, not just
South America, and we're not going to let him stay.
And this is the first, perhaps of many, or perhaps
you know, if we didn't attack this one very strongly,
you'd have roll over the country.

Speaker 4 (10:02):
But I can inform the rest of the country that
when they.

Speaker 3 (10:04):
Do it, if they do it, they're going to be
met with equal or greater force than we met right here.
We did a great job. The people you, Christy and
Tom Holman and all of the people, Pete Hagsa, all
of the people involved in an amazing job. We stopped
a disaster, and it looks like a planned disaster, not
just this didn't just happen. They had weapons, they had tools,

(10:28):
they had everything you needed. I mean they were throwing
iced water in bottles, in glass bottles at offices and
at soldiers. These are you could not use the word insurrection,
but you could also use the word these are very
dangerous people.

Speaker 4 (10:47):
They're bad people.

Speaker 3 (10:48):
They were met with heavy force and they folded, and
they may be there a little bit tonight, may be
there a little bit, but it seems to be getting
less and less because they're going there and they met
with a very heavy force. And if they weren't, you
would have that city right now would be on fire.
It would be burning down the rest of it what's
left over, because the other fire was started because they

(11:09):
wouldn't allow water into La they wouldn't allow water into California,
because they had it all shifted out to the Pacific.

Speaker 4 (11:16):
Ocean, and I turned it around.

Speaker 3 (11:18):
And I told them to do it in my first term,
and they didn't do it. We had COVID and they
didn't do it, and I told them to do it.
We did it in the second. Now we have billions
of gallons of water flowing down.

Speaker 4 (11:32):
But do some should have done? This is an incompetent
man and an incompetent government. Okay, any other question to.

Speaker 5 (11:38):
Any message to adversaries as the army gis off to
the bear.

Speaker 6 (11:42):
With safe overshion.

Speaker 4 (11:43):
I just think it's amazing.

Speaker 3 (11:44):
We're going to have a fantastic June fourteenth parade, Flag Day.

Speaker 4 (11:49):
It's going to be an amazing day.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
We have tanks, we have planes, we have all sorts
of things, and I think it's going to be great.

Speaker 4 (11:57):
We're going to celebrate our country for change.

Speaker 3 (11:59):
You know, recently, as you know, with World War two,
the victory of World War Two, I called up France
and they were celebrating the victory. Well we helped them
a lot, as you know. I don't have to get
into that, but I called up other countries. They were
all celebrating the victory. We're the only country that didn't
celebrate the victory, and we're the one that won the war, Okay,

(12:19):
was it for us that were You would be speaking
German right now, Okay, we won the war, and.

Speaker 4 (12:26):
You might be speaking Japanese too.

Speaker 3 (12:28):
I mean you might be speaking a combination about we
won the war and we're the only country that didn't
celebrate it. And we're going to be celebrating big on Saturday.
We're going to have a lot of it.

Speaker 4 (12:39):
And if there's any protests that wants to come out,
they will be met with very big force.

Speaker 3 (12:43):
By the way, for those people that want to protest,
they're going to be met with very big force. And
I haven't even heard about a protest, but you know
this is people that hate.

Speaker 4 (12:52):
Our country, but they will be met with very heavy force. Well,
thank you very much, everybody.

Speaker 1 (13:01):
All Right, we'll take a quick break. We'll come back

LifeLock dot Com one eight hundred LifeLock promo code Hannity

(15:36):
forty percent off. You know, the most amazing thing is denial,
the denial of the left in this country and the
denial of the reality. I want to educate these these
liberals and also the bain selective, you know, moral indignation

(15:57):
and outrage. You know, the people that were so fixed
on one riot January sixth, and in twenty twenty one
of the same people that elected a woman as vice president,
who after five hundred and seventy four riots and two
dozen dead Americans and billions in property damage and thousands

(16:20):
of cops injured, tilted with bricks, rocks, bottles of Molotov cocktails,
said they're not going to stop writing. They shouldn't stop writing.
We're not going to stop supporting them. I mean, there's
such hypocrites and to watch this hypocrisy on display is unbelievable. Now,
California being a sanctuary state, Los Angeles being a sanctuary
city means normal policing conditions do not exist. Let me

(16:45):
educate these idiotic liberals and we have been telling you
about this. State and local police are prohibited in a
sanctuary city in state from even inquiring about an individual's
immigration status during the routine course of their work. Okay,
That prevents them from doing their job. State and local

(17:06):
offices are forbidden from holding illegal immigrants until they can
be transferred into federal custody. In other words, they are
working against ice, and frankly, I believe it's unconstitutional because
if you look at who has jurisdiction, the supremacy clause
of our Constitution is very clear, and federal agencies are

(17:29):
prohibited from commandeering local authorities to work with immigration agencies
and perform the work of immigration efforts. Well, okay, so
if we can't, if they won't help you, then there
really is no choice unless you want the violence to continue.
One of the biggest problems we have is the outright denial.

(17:53):
Here's Maxine Waters, for example, claiming that there is no
violence and we've been watching it now for days offold
and now it's spreading like a cancer to other parts
of the country, including Dallas and San Francisco and other
cities around the country. As we told you earlier, here's
Maxime Waters.

Speaker 8 (18:11):
And even those who were out of step with what
we are advocating. Peaceful protest did not create any violence.
Nobody was shot, nobody was killed. Get it in your head.
And so when martial law is called, what are you
going to say? I missed the point. Don't miss the point.
You all don't think that somehow because they called out

(18:33):
the National Guard there was violence.

Speaker 4 (18:35):
There was no violence.

Speaker 8 (18:37):
I was on the street, I know, and I went
from downtown Detention back out into the community talking to people.
What happened in Paramount, what happened in come to what
happened in Inglewood. So first of all, get it straight
and don't just rely on what you're being told. Are
the few incidents that you saw.

Speaker 1 (18:57):
The few incidents that you saw, you know, as I
said earlier in the program, today, they literally were handing
out frozen water bottles. Why were they handing out frozen
water bottles to pelt police officers with which can cause
great harm and great injury molotov cocktails. They're also hitting
them with fireworks. They're also had prepositioned things like baseball bats.

(19:21):
As we reported last night on Hannaday on the Fox
News Channel, all of this is designed to protest. Now
we'll get to the bottom of who might be behind
this or the organizations that will be behind this, and
maybe some funding that goes along with this. That's all
going to be a matter of course. But now the
president has two options here to let the madness in

(19:43):
the sanctuary state of California continue, as Gavin is out
there fighting me on X and going on ms DNC
and every other legacy left wing media outlet. He confined,
instead of dealing with the problem, I mean, this is
probably he's if you were to grade this, it's probably

(20:05):
worse than his handling of the Pacific Palisades, you know,
where hydrants had no water and reservoirs we find out
are empty. And meanwhile, these wildfires are as predictable as
the day is long, and Santa Anna wins also as
predictable as the day is long. I lived out in
the eighties for five years in Santa Barbara. Everybody knows

(20:27):
it's going to happen, and they've done nothing, no preparation,
and they reject the science of forestry. But you know,
if you can get worse than that, Gavin's now doing
a good job topping that. As we've been chronicling. Anyway,
here with the reaction to this Deputy Assistant to the
President and the principal Deputy Communications Director, Alex vifers with us. Alex,

(20:50):
how are you, my friend?

Speaker 2 (20:51):
I'm doing great, Sean, thanks for having me on. I
just did those comments from Maxine Waters. I just wanted
to address them, if you give me a chance. Here
she she says, there's no violence that happened, which I
don't understand. How that How she thinks that they looted
an Adida store, a CBS, all these local businesses. They
threw glass bottles at police officers last night. This is

(21:13):
all stuff to happen last night. I'm not even time
about the weekend, and I don't understand the Adida store looting.
I don't know if they think ice officers like to
wear Adida sneakers. But the important thing that I remember
when you played that clip is who Maxine Waters was.
After the Rodney King riots which destroyed swaths of Los
Angeles left people dead. At the time, Maxine Water said

(21:36):
they were understandable and acceptable. So that's who Maxine Waters is.

Speaker 1 (21:41):
Oh, I can go back and I'll pull up this
clip of Maxine Waters. You might remember when Donald Trump
was president the last time he was the person telling them,
you know, give them no peace and get in their
face and follow them into stores. And here's what she
said back in the day.

Speaker 9 (21:58):
Anybody cabinet in a restaurants, you get out and you.

Speaker 1 (22:08):
Get a go out.

Speaker 9 (22:11):
Done them.

Speaker 1 (22:14):
Sounds like a thread against the president's life.

Speaker 2 (22:17):
To me, she's despicable and you know her comments, you know,
reflects for the state of California politics. Karen Bass, the
mayor there, she called Fidel Castro commandante when he died,
uh and visited Cuba a bunch in the seventies. And
so this is the thing you were talking about in
your intro dealing with sanctuary cities and what's at the

(22:38):
core of the problem here. So what happened would set
off these riots and the need for the National Guard
of employees on Friday Ice was doing an operation. And
it's not just that the lapd H didn't help, you know,
turnover in a legal immigrant right those sanctuary status. What
happened z.

Speaker 1 (22:55):
Described the operation you mean the operation that nabbed murderers,
the operation that nabbed sexual predator. Is that one.

Speaker 2 (23:04):
Yes, killers, child molesterers, verified gang members, field domestic violence conditions.
That's what the rioters are standing up for. And they
called in for LAPD help and the LAPD didn't come
over for over two hours, didn't come to help. And
that's what festered the problem. And that's why, Sean, we
need a big, beautiful bill. It's going to increase ICE
by ten thousand personnel. They currently have about twenty thousands,

(23:26):
so this increases ICE by fifty percent. We can't depend
on cities like Los Angeles to help us when it
comes to immigration enforcement. And that's how we needed up
the funding for ICE so we can actually fulfill the
mass deportation pledge.

Speaker 1 (23:41):
Not only did they not show up, but even if
they did show up, I just read through the prohibitions
and the handcuffs that they put on law enforcement in California.
And yesterday on this program, we played the LA police
chiefs saying we are overwhelmed and describing that they are

(24:02):
under fire and desperately needing help. But Gavin doesn't care.
He's too busy fighting me on X and too busy
doing his interviews and too busy attacking Donald Trump to
actually get a you know, get out there and calm
the calm the Waters he wants to use this as
a political opportunity to make himself look good.

Speaker 9 (24:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (24:22):
I don't understand how what Gavin, what Devin thinks he
gets out of this, because for the past few months
he's been pretending he's some sort of moderate right and
now he's exposed to the nation who he really is,
which is someone who sides with Leland Grin criminals. Again,
the people who Ice has arrested in LA in the
past seven days include a convicted child molester, a convicted murderer,

(24:44):
as some most convicted for manslaughter. So he's in the
worst of the worst that Ice is picked up and
this is who Gavin, Karen Bass and Maxine Waters is
choosing the side with. Unfortunately, President Trump is resolute in
his determined termination to liberate American neighborhoods from legal immigrant crime,
and Ice is not the turn. Ice right now in
LA is still out there arresting legal and grips.

Speaker 1 (25:07):
Let me while I have you, if you don't mind
change topics a little bit here, And I've interviewed a
number of Senators and they'll look into to try and
cut more money out of this one big beautiful bill,
and the President has given them permission to do so.
Is this still on track in your view to get
us to the fourth of July.

Speaker 2 (25:29):
The big beautiful bill is on track for passage and
signed the summer. You know. As for the date, you know,
we'll see, but it's on track wire constant. All the
President's tax priorities will remain in the bill. This is
the largest working in middle class tax cut in history.
If you if you're listening to the show right now,
and you make between thirty and eighty thousand dollars, you're
going to face it. See it fifteen percent tax cut. Okay,

(25:52):
it's huge. It has no tax on tips, no tax
on overtime, splashes, taxes for seniors and social Security. So
all those tax priorities will remand the bill. We're confident
our border priorities will remand the bill finishing the border wall,
funding increased ice sportations. And another key thing that doesn't
get much attention is, obviously we've seen all the news

(26:14):
about airtraft ConTroll being outdated, still losing floppy disks and whatnot.
This bill includes twelve point five billion dollars to modernize
aircraft control. We're confidence outstand now it's for any tweaks
here and there in the Senate, you know they'll do
what they'll they'll do. But you know we're confidence is
the key priorities will remand the legislation and it's on

(26:34):
track for passage.

Speaker 4 (26:35):
All right.

Speaker 1 (26:36):
We appreciate you being with us. The Deputy Assistant of
the President and Principal Deputy Communications Director Alex Pfeiffer, thank you, Alex.

a buck a day and they have a sixty day
satisfaction guarantee or your money back anyway, secure your family.

Speaker 6 (28:32):
The final hour of the Sean Hannity Show was up next.
Hang on for Sean's conservative solutions.

Speaker 1 (28:46):
All right, when we come back, How would a red
state deal with the issues facing California. In other words,
a state that is not a sanctuary state, or a
that's that does not allow sanctuary cities, that does not
put handcuffs on law enforcement. Well, we'll ask the Florida
Attorney General, James Hethmeyer on the other side of this,

(29:07):
because it's unbelievable how little local police are even allowed
by law to do. Hey, don't forget punchlines on Patriots
coming up June twenty eighth in Clearwater Ruth Eckert Hall,
Tampa for Clearwater surrounding areas. Don't forget June twenty eight, Saturday,
seven o'clock. Get your tickets at Hannity dot com in
