Speaker 1 (00:00):
Stay right here for our final news round up and
information overload.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
A news round Up, Information Overload. O are toll free.
Our number is eight hundred and nine four one sean
if you want to be a part of the program.
So we have these terrible incidents of very anti semitism,
it shouldn't surprise people. I've been warning now all throughout
the twenty twenty four campaign, all throughout you know, ever
(00:26):
since that when you have fifteen twenty million whatever the
number happens to be unvetted Biden, Harris mayorcis the illegal immigrants,
it should not be a surprise to anybody when incidents
like the ones that happened, like the one that happened
over the weekend in Boulder, Colorado, happened. In less than
(00:48):
two months, we've had people claiming to be motivated by
this free Palestine movement. I mean, the left has been
defending the indefensible, the Khalil mach Moods of the world world,
and those that had taken over college campuses and buildings,
and you know, those giving these anti Semitic speeches and
(01:09):
these groups, and of course all this does is feed
into what has become an environment of virulent anti Semitism.
I keep mentioning it's happening in the halls of Congress,
It's happening on college campuses, it's happening worldwide. You know,
we watched the home of Governors Shapiro of Pennsylvania. They
(01:32):
tried to burn down his home. We've seen, you know,
a couple executed leaving a Jewish museum in DC. We
talked about that issue. We look at molotov cocktails, you know,
thrown at an elderly Jewish group advocating for free hostages
in Colorado. And what have I been saying, Joe Biden,
(01:54):
Kamala Harris, and Alejandro Mayorchis's open borders have allowed known
terrorists into the country, but we don't know where they are.
They have allowed murderers, rapists, They have allowed drug dealers,
cartel members all into our country. And it's a it's
an absolute disgrace. And with every death, I keep saying
(02:16):
that they have blood on their hands, period end of sentence,
you know. And it turns out in this case, yeah,
another Egyptian man in the US illegally, and it should
outrage every person because all of this is preventable. This
has become the most preventable. This was the most preventable
national security threat that our country's ever taken on. And
(02:38):
they lie to us the whole time. The border's secured,
the borders closed, The border is secure, the borders closed. No,
it's not, it never was anyway, we actually have uh.
The suspect in the Boulder, Colorado attack threatening bystanders on audio.
Let's play it for you.
Speaker 3 (03:01):
We can't do nothining alcohol.
Speaker 2 (03:19):
He's making or jo when he's got malta topeels. He's
got right here alcohol. I mean, pretty scary. And look
at the results. How many more of these incidents have
to occur? They have blood on their hands. They are responsible.
(03:44):
This was all preventable. Colorado Congressman Gabe Evans is with us.
He's the grandson of immigrants, former Colorado cop himself, also
the freshman and the only Republican to flip a red
a seat red and in a blue state like Colorado
in twenty twenty four's biggest messaging position is how Colorado's
(04:05):
sanctuary state law is a detrimental to public safety and
as first bill directly addresses the state's public safety, immigration
and crimes rising, the attack in Boulder is only the
latest example of how far the left has gone and perpetrated.
You know, all these crises, all of this was preventable
(04:26):
as this mad band launches this targeted terror attack Bree Palestine. Anyway,
Congressman Gabe Evans, welcome to the program. Thank you for
being with us. Congratulations on your win. It speaks volumes
about the campaign you ran, because that does not happen
very often.
Speaker 4 (04:43):
Oh well, thank you so much. Thanks thanks for having
me on. And like I told everybody, I didn't, unfortunately
have to convince people there's a problem. They could see
the problem all around them. I could just had to
tell them that as a cop, as a soldier for
twenty two years, as a husband, as a father, as
a grandson of immigrants from Mexico, I know how to
fix this problem, and it's not hard. We got to
have secure borders. We got to stop the sanctuary state
(05:05):
policies that are making places like Colorado right now we're
the number two most dangerous state in the country. And
we've got to call out and stop these radical pro
hamas people that are agitating in our community and hold
the left accountable for allowing this poison to thrive.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
Well and That's the whole point. All. What bothers me
more than anything else, is I really this is one
of these times in my career, and I've been doing
this a while, Congressman, that I actually wish I was wrong.
I've known the whole time that I'm right. You can't
allow unvetted people from hundreds of countries, including countries when
we've discussed them, Egypt, Muslim Brotherhood, Afghanistan, al Qaeda, you
(05:47):
name any country with terroritize. They've all entered this country illegally, unvetted, unchecked,
and if anything they've been they were given, you know,
open arms and taxpayers money in the process. Look at California.
They're struggling right now financially because of all of the
(06:08):
illegal immigrants that are on medical because the sanctuary state
of California gives them free medical care and free education,
and that hurts the kids' education. American citizens they send
their kids to a public school, Well, they don't have
the they don't have the resources to take care of
people that so many kids that need English as a
second language.
Speaker 4 (06:29):
Oh, you're You're absolutely right. And the truly tragic part
about it is we know the California is we know,
the other big liberal states in the country that are
doing this stuff, but my home state, Colorado, weren't actually
even further left than California, because at least Gavin Newsom
has come out and said that he doesn't want to
give illegal immigrants any more taxpayer funded healthcare in Colorado,
(06:51):
we're doubling down on giving it.
Speaker 2 (06:53):
He just doesn't want any more new people, Let's be
very clear about that, only because he's borrowing, you know,
bill millions of dollars to pay for the illegals that
are currently on medical He just doesn't want to add
any more. But yet he's not lifted a finger to
end the state sanctuary state policies or end sanctuary city
(07:13):
policies in the state.
Speaker 4 (07:15):
And again, Colorado is even worse than that because we're
continuing to welcome new people on and less than a
month ago, our governor just signed into law a state
piece of legislation that imposes a fifty thousand dollars fine
on any state or local law enforcement that shares information
with Immigration and Customs. This was a major point of
(07:37):
the nine to eleven Commission after September eleventh. How could
a terrorist attack of that magnitude happen, And one of
the big takeaways was that federal, state, and local law
enforcement need to be able to share information because if
the FBI is hunting down a terrorist, but state or
local law enforcement has a key piece to that puzzle,
they got to be able to share that back and forth.
(07:57):
And we've got sanctuary states like Colorado where governor is
imposing fifty thousand dollars fines on state and local cops
if they talk to Ice. Is it any wonder that
we get illegal Egyptian immigrants fire bombing Jewish communities in.
Speaker 2 (08:12):
Colorado, But they've been aiding in a betting in the law,
breaking the entire time. And this is what frustrates me
because it was supposed to be a nation, a constitutional
republic governed by the rule of law. And for example,
if I were to go down to the southern border,
pick up some people and drive them into your district
in Colorado.
Speaker 4 (08:30):
What would you call that aiding in a bedding.
Speaker 2 (08:33):
And human trafficking? And in my case, they'd arrest me.
But it was institutionalized by Biden, Harris and may Orcus
and then they lied about it and said, no, the
border's closed, the border is secure.
Speaker 4 (08:44):
Well, we saw that with this case. This individual entered
illegally through lax and then when his he could see
he actually had two visas expire on him. He had
a first visa which was around like doing business deals
or tourism that expired, and then the Biden hair administration
then gave him another visa, a work permit, and then
we find out he's been planning this for around a year.
(09:07):
And so you have just repeated failures in the system
under the previous administration. And unfortunately those failures were exacerbated
again by sanctuary states like California where he entered Lake Colorado,
where he ends up carrying out this terrorist attack because
of the barriers that those states place on their state
(09:29):
and local law enforcement being able to work with their
federal counterparts to be able to identify and get violent
anti Semitic individuals like this terrorist out of our community.
Speaker 2 (09:40):
But I've been asking, and Tom Holman will be on tonight,
and I said, Tom, it is it sounds like mission
impossible to me. We have known terrorists, gang members, cartel members, murderers, rapists,
other violent criminals, and we have anywhere from twelve to
twenty million we don't even know the number that Biden,
(10:01):
Harris and Majorcus led into the country. To me, it's
like finding a needle in a haystack. We have known
terrorism in this country, as evidenced by what happened in
your state this weekend. That is an act of terrorism.
Speaker 4 (10:14):
To me, yeah, it absolutely is. This is an act
of extremism, the same sort that I fought when I
was overseas in a combat zone as part of the
global war on terror. And so to see this happening
in our very communities, it speaks not only to the
disaster that is the border, but it speaks to something
that you brought up earlier, which is the fact that
(10:35):
the left has allowed this to fester. We've seen the
attack on the governor's mansion in Pennsylvania. We've seen Jewish
diplomats get assassinated in Washington, d c. And at the
same time that that's happening, we have a Democrat party
that can't even make a definitive statement and then back
it up with action that these sorts of things are wrong.
Look no further than the state legislature in Colorado last year,
(10:59):
where we had some of the Israeli hostage families who
had come to Colorado, and the Democrat Speaker of the
State House in Colorado wouldn't even let them into the
chamber because she didn't think that she could keep her
pro Hamas members in line that inability to condemn this
anti Semitism that's fueling a lot of this violence. And
(11:22):
so we have to have secure borders and law enforcement,
but we also have to unequivocally condemn this anti semitism,
and we need the Democrat party to get on board.
Speaker 2 (11:33):
With this quick break right back, we'll continue more with
Colorado Congressman Gabe Evans on the other side than your
calls coming up. Eight hundred and nine to four one, Shawn,
as we continue, all right, we continue now with Colorado
Congressman Gabe Evans as we talk about this terrible tragedy
in Boulder, this terrorist attack over the weekend. I've been
telling you we have known terrorists in the country now
(11:55):
for almost two years, and this is the result of it.
For more than two years. They're the ones that are
championing these idiots on college campuses like in Colombia, Harvard
and and what you know what you have this Senator
Van Holland going over to El Salvador and other congressman
staying in the fourth seasons and in El Salvador, you know,
(12:16):
for Abrego Garcia, different case, but associated with MS thirteen,
a designated terrorist organization. You know, how do you possibly
deal with a party that wants to that just ran
for president, a woman that wants to pay for free
sex change operations for illegal immigrants, a running mate who
wants taxpayer funded college tuition for illegal immigrants, and of
(12:39):
course a vice president that wanted and he's out there
saying we need to be meaner, we mean, need to
be tougher. He wants to have gender affirming care for
minors without parental consent. How do you how do you
how do you have a rational discussion with people that
believe this?
Speaker 4 (12:58):
Well, in Mayer, we decided we couldn't, so we just
beat them.
Speaker 2 (13:01):
We beat them last Well, what is your district, by
the way, is it plus them plus Republican?
Speaker 4 (13:06):
Is it marginal dead even toss up seat?
Speaker 2 (13:09):
That means every election is going to be rough for you?
That's what that means.
Speaker 4 (13:14):
Yeah, it does. I traded one foxhole for another, but
you know what, I spent twenty two years in the
military and law enforcement fighting for this country. For my state,
and we're not gonna We're not gonna let these folks
have it without a fight. So every two years, I'm
gonna be.
Speaker 2 (13:27):
How do the Democrats in your district feel about this?
Do they really want to be the party of AOC?
The squad? Tim Walls, Grandpa Bernie, and Jasmine Crockett.
Speaker 4 (13:39):
So I have got the largest Hispanic population of any
of the eight congressional districts in Colorado. And so when
I go out and I have conversations with the Hispanic
small business owners, the Hispanic community, I've already lost count
of how many times they looked me in the face
and said, Dabe. The Democrats lied to us. They told
us they were going to do all these wonderful things.
At all they ever actually gave us was the higher taxes,
(14:03):
less safe communities, more regulations. And now our boys don't
even know if they're boys or girls right now. It's
time for change. And so I think that is the
pathway forward. That is the message that we have to
carry of Look, Republicans, look at our one big beautiful bill.
We're securing the border, we're getting lower taxes, we're supporting
law enforcement, we're doing everything that we possibly can to
(14:25):
get America back to a safe, affordable place for people
to live, to work, to raise families that resonates in
districts like mine. There are going to be these these
battleground toss up seats year after year after year.
Speaker 2 (14:38):
Aler Rod Our Congressman, gave Gabe Evans, sorry, what happened
in your state. Our prayers are with the victims and
their families. And I wish I could say this is
the end of it, but it's not, and it's inevitable.
And I wish I pray to God that I'm wrong,
but I don't think I'm going to be proven wrong.
Thank you, sir. There is a lot of other news.
(14:59):
Only days after President Trump warned California about letting a
male compete in the girls track and field and event,
the state allowed this transathlete to take two state titles
against female competitors anyway. The transgender student athlete took first
(15:19):
place in the girls high jump in the triple jump
at the state championship on Saturday at Veterans Memorial Stadium
in Clovis, California. I finished in second place in the
long jump. He was the only female to finish well.
One girl was the only female to finish ahead of
(15:39):
Hernandez in any competition that the trans athlete competed in
this weekend. You know, this individual previously took first place
at all three events at the preliminary round on Friday. Meanwhile,
female competitors have finished behind Hernandez, and this weekend's events
were all bumped up one spot and received the medal
they would have earned had the trans athlete competed. If
(16:02):
they really want transa athlete, if they want a category
for trans athletes, fine, you got title nine. Make it
title twenty nine. I don't care. Call it whatever you
want and allow a trans category for competition. Do whatever
you want. But it is unfair and American see, it
is unfair, and the left just keeps doubling down on
this University of Pennsylvania healthcare system announcing that it will
(16:25):
no longer perform gender affirming surgeries on children. You can
thank Donald Trump for that too. Oh and by the way,
this trans athlete telling critics to get a life after
dominating this weekend's girls high school track and field state championship.
You know, and by the way, the girls track and
field athletes didn't stand on the podium next to the
trans athlete at the Oregon State Championship. I mean, when
(16:48):
I started in radio in nineteen eighty seventies are non
topics I thought I'd be discussing. Now, let's go back
to the President's joint session before Congress member Democrats. They
wouldn't stand for mothers that lost their children to Biden
Harris may Orkers illegals, And they wouldn't stand for this
thirteen year old young man who had been battling cancer
(17:09):
and beat it. It sadly came out this weekend the
DJ Daniel Remember he became a Secret Service agent that
night when Sean Kerr and the head of the Secret
Service deputized him. Anyway, and he visited with President Trump
in the Oval Office after that evening and was sworn
in by the Secret Service after, you know, inspiring Donald
(17:30):
Trump with his fight against incurable brain cancer. He's now
been diagnosed with three additional tumors. Oh that breaks my heart.
It really does so sad either way, Linda, I don't
know if you saw this article. Apparently it's like the
it's like a calling card to wear a MAGA hat now,
even in New York City, a Democratic stronghold, I don't
(17:50):
know if you saw this on foxnews dot com, but
particularly between young men and women and movers and shakers,
and apparently now if you are pro Trump and pro Maga,
it's like good for your your dating life. And I
guess with polarization that these groups are emerging. We're young people,
and increasingly young conservatives, movers and shakers who live in
(18:15):
some of America's most influential cities and towns are finding
ways to network and socialize. And anyway, you've got New
York young Republicans, they're they're gathering, and you got everyone
in the rooms like wearing Maga gear. It's hilarious. I
don't know, it's I think that's a pretty good way.
I think we should bring back handadate. What do you think?
Speaker 1 (18:33):
I don't many don't think we should do that.
Speaker 2 (18:36):
It was a long why not?
Speaker 1 (18:37):
I think we're good. I think people should wear their
Maga hats and find each other in the in the
regular world.
Speaker 2 (18:43):
You're not answering my question, what's wrong with Hannah Date?
How many people got married on Hannah Date? You you
wouldn't know better than me.
Speaker 1 (18:50):
I think I think we had a close to fifty.
Speaker 2 (18:51):
Couples at the end of the day got married. That
got married. Yeah, lots of people that we have to
put a big disclaimer up there for legal reasons and
frankly just an admonition for your safety. You've got to
be careful when you're meeting people. I just think you
take every precaution necessary meet.
Speaker 1 (19:09):
Each other in real life. I think IRL is highly underwating.
Speaker 2 (19:12):
Wait a minute, what if you can click on a
state on Hannah Date, and you live in a particular
state or a particular city, and you want to meet
people that are like minded, that like this show and
like my TV show, and you have all of that
in common to start with, the odds are starting. You
probably have similar values and belief systems. I mean, we're
facilitating love. And I never charged the penny for that.
(19:33):
I'm not charging any money. I mean a lot of
these dating sites charge a lot.
Speaker 1 (19:37):
Yeah, I just don't you know. I'm kind of getting
to a spot where I feel like people need to
get off the screen. You know, it's getting a little weird.
People cannot people are having a hard time not looking
at their phone all the time, And I would just
like people to go back to old school, like seeing
someone talking to someone and whether that's because you're all
wearing magga gear outside or you know, I know, in
(19:59):
our our family, we all have our conservative hats, whether
it's you know that don't tread on me, or the
blue line or the Red Lion or the Mega hat,
and we go out, people do say something they do,
so I agree that there's definitely a camaraderie among the
same people that walk around with their hats on and
are brave enough to do so, you know, we're like,
I support Israel or whatever. There's there's some like mindedness there,
(20:22):
which is great because all the free Palestine people can
have each other.
Speaker 2 (20:26):
All you people that decided to stay in New York
and didn't make your exit. And I still think Andrew
Clmo is going to run away and be the next mayor.
I believe that, and I think you kind of agree
with me. But you got this radical leftist what's his name, mom, Donnie. Anyway,
he's now aiming to permanently eliminate the fair on city
buses and make Suni tuish and free, and tax the
(20:51):
rich and chase every company out of New York. Nobody's
going to stay based on the proposals to pay for
all this insanity. He wants to make.
Speaker 1 (21:00):
iCal socialist, Muslim free Palestine mayor in New York. That
is not what we need.
Speaker 2 (21:06):
Ever, he recognizes that winning elections changes more than everyone
convincing the electorate to ignore so it's constraints and anyway,
Yet the extent to which he risks harming working class
New Yorkers, you know his big ticket items. He wants
to freeze on rents. Why should a landlord ever be
(21:26):
forced I could never understand these rint control laws. A
landlord has forced them to subsidize a tenant and not
got pre market value for the property that they own.
That's why who wants to own anything in New York
for crying out loud? Anyway, provided it wages at parody
with public school teachers and you know nothing, it would
(21:48):
be guaranteed to cause a major market disruption. Freezing rents
on the city's you know, rental units would do nothing
to address the city's fundamental housing problem. And they already
have you know, thousands and thousands of rents stabilized. To me,
the idea that you think you want to empower your
government and tell your landlord what they can and cannot
(22:09):
charge you, and then you can never if people never
leave their apartments in New York. Oh, New York's doing
such a good job on law and order. The assaults
on NYPD police rose sixty three percent. I guess Alvin
Bragg is figuring out his next move to go after
Donald Trump. In California, Gavin Newsom is proposing a two
(22:30):
thousand dollars asset eligibility test to control soaring medical costs.
But here's the rub. Newsom is proposed freezing new enrollment
for adults that are in the country illegally because he's
had to borrow billions of dollars and he's got billions
in a deficit, and it's the highest tax state in
(22:52):
the entire country. It is. It is madness. But that's
what you get with the left and taxpayer funded sex
change operation and free college tuition for illegal immigrants. All right,
let's get to our busy phones. Eight hundred nine to
four one seawn. If you want to be a part
of the program, let us say hi to Scott speaking
of New York. In New York, you're on the Sean
(23:14):
Hannity Show.
Speaker 5 (23:14):
Hi, Hey, I wanted to share with you, but blaring
example of how the media twists the narrative. If you
notice that they're very much so enthusiastic about Democrat appointee
judges hindering and impeding Donald Trump's deportation agenda. But when
I was in office for four years and how the
(23:37):
border wide open, none of the mass media put pressure
on the judiciary to have Biden enforce the law and
deport illegal aliens who crossed the country. Crossed the border
illegally into the country by the tens of millions. No
one in the mass media was cheering for the Supreme
(23:59):
Court or any ower court to compel the president, meaning Biden,
to close the border and deport these invaders who've overrun
our southern frontier. So again, it's a glaring example of
the hypocrisy of the mass media and of the corrupt
judiciary appointed by Biden and Obama.
Speaker 2 (24:21):
I think you're raising some very good valid points. And
we see what the left can't get done legislatively, we
see what they can't get done electorally. They go judge
shopping and they seek out judicial activists, and they get
their they get their decisions done. By the way, there
are nine Supreme Court decisions and I'm telling you because
(24:42):
we're coming to the recess summer recess very soon, and
these decisions will commit. One is the gender affirming care
for miners case, is that of Tennessee to prevent gender
affirming care from being provided with miners. One is the
nationwide injunction birthright citizenship. That is going to be a
(25:03):
highly contested issue. I think if you're in this country illegally,
you don't you know, and you give birth to a child, that's,
oh well, that's birthright citizenship. That's not how it was designed.
That was not the intent. And even though justice is soda,
Mayor Olena Kagan seemed to think that the administration has
misinterpreted the fourteenth Amendment. They're dealing with a case about
(25:24):
parents that sued Montgomery's school Board in Maryland after they
determined the parents could not opt their children out of book,
recorded readings and controversial content about gender and sexuality. That
is the Mood versus Taylor case, arguing that the school
district had violated First Amendment rights by compelling their kids participation.
(25:45):
We have the Obamacare Preventative Care Panel Kennedy versus Brainwood Management,
and that is the constitutionality of the Federal Preventative Services
Task Force created under Obamacare and makes binding recommendations about
preventative medical services. That's going to be a big decision.
(26:06):
Age verification for pornography websites. The Fifth Circuit upheld the
laws of Texas and stating that it does not violate
the First Amendment. If you regulate and you have to
have proof of age, makes sense, doesn't it? As a parent?
It does to me? Medicaid funding for planned parenthood, should
(26:26):
it be for abortion? That's another case. Mexico's lawsuit against
gun companies. They're trying to blame gun companies well for
the actions and misuse of firearms by these cartel members
and criminals in Mexico. You have two consolidated cases Folds
versus the PLO and the US versus the PLO. Supreme
(26:48):
Court considering whether the families of terror attack victims can
sue the PLO terrorist group. That's another big decision that
is coming up as well. Two big decisions in that case.
Waste Storage Texas objecting to the Federal Nuclear Regulatory Commission's
attempt to license private storage providers to operate an interim
storage facility in the Permium Basin, which is the nation's
(27:10):
most productive oil field. Texas sued. The Supreme Court took
up the Nuclear Regulatory Commission versus Texas case. These are
nine huge decisions that we'll be hearing about in the
next month. That's huge anyway. Eight hundred ninety four one seawn.
If you want to be a part of the program,
all right, that's going to wrap things up for today.
Hannity Tonight, nine eastern on the Fox News Channel. Tom
