Speaker 1 (00:00):
Right News round Up in Information Overload Hour eight hundred
and nine four one. Shawn us on number if you
want to be a part of the program if you
haven't been following. So, the President left the US at
eleven pm Friday night, twenty four hours one stop to refuel,
and headed over to Malaysia. While there, he announced the
historic agreement and the military conflict between Malaysia and Cambodia,

(00:23):
on top of a massive trade deal that he made.
And let's play a little bit of that announcement.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Well, this is so exciting because we did something that
a lot of people said couldn't be done, and we
saved maybe millions of lives on this one piece deal itself.
And I'll tell you what makes me so happy is
the two countries we're dealing with and the third that
helps so much. I appreciate so much. Maybe he couldn't

(00:54):
have been done without you. But they really like each other.
I'm not used to that to do these deals. Usually
there's a lot of hatred. They liked each other, so
it made it a little bit easier. But millions of
people are alive today because of this peace treaty. So
before I begin, I want to extend our deepest condolences
to the Prime Minister A Newton, as well as His Majesty,

(01:19):
the King of Thailand and the entire nation on the
passing of her Majesty, Queen syric Hat, the Queen Mother
and a beautiful, incredible woman who is so respected all
over all over the world. Actually respected, I know other
people of Thailand remember her forever as the embodiment of dignity,

(01:41):
kindness and grace. This just happened, but this is a
woman who was so loved and respected. Today we honor
the memory by bringing the blessing of peace to the
nations she dearly loved. She loved this nation like few
people love their nations. This is a momentous day for

(02:02):
all of the people of Southeast Asia as we sign
a historic agreement to end the military conflict between Cambodia
and Thailand.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
Anyway, the President now has made his stop in Japan again.
I mean he's flying day and night. I've heard from
people that are around him he hasn't been. He doesn't
sleep on these trips. I know when I went to
the Golf States with him, he just doesn't sleep. And
I guess probably the most consequential meeting will be with

(02:31):
President Chi of China. Scott Besn't, the Treasury Secretary, said
that the President and China's leader, President Chi could consummate
the deal as it relates to TikTok to operate in
the US. Mister Besson said that the US and China
had reached a final deal on TikTok and as of today,
all details are going to be ironed out. Will be

(02:53):
for the two leaders to consummate that transaction when they
meet on Thursday in South Korea. We also know that
the issue of tariffs and rare earths will be discussed
in detail. Certainly the President last week making what eight
point five I think billion or trillion dollars deal with

(03:14):
Australia on rare earth, showing China that well, we're going
to survive without you and accelerating the production of rare
earths and using our own natural resources to do it. Also,
I'm sure the issue of purchase of Russian oil will
come up, because you know, between India, which President Trump

(03:34):
put a fifty percent tariff on European Union, now is
has pulled back their purchases of Russian energy, and it
was announced last week the President she plans to do
the same thing. That would be a big deal because
the entire economy of Russia is literally pun intended, fueled

(03:54):
by energy. That is their entire economy, that's the lifeblood
that is funding Putin's war machine. So there's a lot,
obviously to discuss, and maybe there might be other transactions
as well, and perhaps the thawing of relationships between she
and the United States and President Trump. We'll see Gordon Chang,

(04:15):
author of The Coming Collapse of China, the Great US
China Tech War, and former US trade representative here to
unpack this trip. You know, there's a story in the
New York Post. It was either yesterday or today or Saturday,
I forget which day, how the Chinese and Russians have

(04:36):
infiltrated big tech companies in this country and their youth.
They're playing very they're playing long ball in a major way,
and they're using attractive women to use sophisticated means to
get close to big tech representatives in our country, even
marry them and have children with them for the purpose

(04:57):
of long term spying and stealing intellectual property as it
relates to relates to big tech in this country.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
Did you read that I skimmed the story.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
Yes, very interesting to skim the story. I've read. I've
read the whole thing because it was so deep and sophisticated.
I couldn't believe it. And apparently these big tech people
are falling for it. You know, I guess you know,
a pretty girl winsa eyelashes at you and you think, oh,
she must really love me. Maybe not. Maybe she's what
they were called it in the story, was a honeypot.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
Yes, well, the Chinese and the Russians have been doing
this for decades, and it's not just for national security
secrets and technology. They've been doing this against our businessmen.
So this has been comprehensive. It's been going on for
a very long time, and the Chinese had been very
successful at it. The most important example in our country
would be a Christina Fom of the Ministry of State Security.

(05:51):
She had a relationship with Eric Swelwell, the congressman's from California,
And we got to remember, you know, Sean the Ministry
of State Security first contacted Eric Slawall, not when he
was serving on the House Intelligence Committee, where obviously he
had great benefit for China, but when he was on
the City Council of Dublin City, California. And that shows

(06:16):
you how extensive China's efforts have been, because I'm sure
that Eric Swawell was not the only person who was groomed.
There have been many swallows, dozens, maybe hundreds.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
So we've got to understand that you're talking about Yes
Fang Than and you don't think that was an accident.
You'd think that was a sophisticated effort at infiltrating a
vote member of Congress.

Speaker 3 (06:41):
Well, it was an effort to promote somebody who one
day might become a member of Congress, or one day
might be a Supreme Court justice or god forbid, the
President of the United States.

Speaker 4 (06:53):
Now, this is not to.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
Say that Slowall did anything wrong. It is to say, though,
that China was working on him from a very early stage.
And it shows you how large China's program is to
infiltrate the US. Every institution, for virtually every institution in
the US has been infiltrated from top to bottom. And
that means we got to get the Chinese regimes out

(07:16):
of our country because we're being overwhelmed. Shot the FBI
is overwhelmed, local law enforcement's overwhelmed, every level of government
is overwhelmed.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
Well, I mean, all right, so let's talk about what
the president is doing on this trip here, what he
hopes to accomplish, but got besent, you know, little has
said that maybe they're going to come to a deal
on TikTok. The President I think gained leveraged by doing
this rare earth deal with Australia. I think that sent
a message President Chi indicating in the lead up to
this that he was cutting back on the purchase of

(07:48):
Russian oil. I think that was a concession on his
part prior to this meeting. Am I wrong?

Speaker 3 (07:54):
Well, that is a concession. What the Chinese said was
essentially their large state oil companies are not going to
buy Russian energy. But traditionally, and this is over the
last year or so, it's not the large state oil
companies that have been buying Russian oil. It's the teapots,
the independent refiners, most of them in the northeastern part

(08:15):
of the country. So we've got to see just exactly
what the Chinese will do going forward. But in general,
on Thursday, we're going to see a cease fire between
the United States and China for about a year, which
by the way expires just for our mid terms, which
is going to be fascinating to see how that works out.
And the issue, Sean will be to see which country

(08:35):
uses the year better than the others. And I think
we're going to be using the year better because of
the things you just talked about, like the Australia Rare
Earth deal. But it's also the Chinese are going to
double down on industrial policies that is going to make
them more vulnerable and more dependent on the US. So
this should be a very good year for America.

Speaker 1 (08:54):
Well, I'm hoping it is. Where do you think President
she is in all of those because he's been back
and forth and bobbing and weaving and in and out
of different deals with the President and then changing his mind.
What's actually going on in his mind At this point.

Speaker 3 (09:09):
I think the most important thing is not his relations
with the US and the meeting with President Trump, but
his standing in the Communist Party at home. There have
been a lot of rumors and even indications that Cajan
Pink has lost substantial influence. So for instance, that announcement
from the Ministry of National Defense a week ago indicated
that his loyalists in the military his most senior loyalist. Well,

(09:33):
the loyalists have been removed and none of his adversaries
have been removed, which means that he's lost influence and
maybe even total control over the Chinese military, which is
the most important faction in the Communist Party. So I
think he's worrying about what's going on at home, not
what's going to happen in Busan in South Korea.

Speaker 1 (09:52):
Well, that's pretty interesting. Do you think an alliance with
Trump helps solidify his position within China or is the
military just you know, do they want to remain isolated
from the world, you know, and strategically still planning out
one hundred years to be the most dominant force on earth.

Speaker 3 (10:13):
Yeah, that's a great question. And I think that a
meeting with Trump helps Sigean Ping, and I'm sure that's
the reason why Siege and Thing agreed to the meeting.
But I'm not so sure that the rest of the
Chinese political establishment is going to be swayed too much,
because the antagonism among senior leaders right now is at
a very high point, and that's because sig and Ping

(10:36):
has jailed a lot of people, stripped them of their assets,
gone hard after their families, and so the fighting right
now is intense, as intense as it's been for let's
say thirty five years or so.

Speaker 1 (10:50):
Yeah, pretty amazing. What about their plans militarily, The Chinese
have invested very, very heavily in their military new military
technology for the year as well. Simultaneously, all indications that
we can gather and reports that I've heard and my
sources have told me that their economy is struggling mightily.

(11:10):
Where are we with them? Where are they now?

Speaker 3 (11:12):
Well, in the economy, they're not growing at the four
point eight percent pace that they claim for the third quarter.
They're closer to zero. But the thing that's really important
is that the country is in deflation, and we've seen
this in the price data. So economy in deflation is
one that doesn't recover for a very long time, especially
because Sie doing things. Industrial policies which the Communist Party

(11:36):
endorsed about a week ago, make China much more dependent
on industrial production, which means much more dependent on selling
to countries like the United States. So Fijian Thing's policies
are making things worse, which is one of the reasons
why he's having problems right now. He's being blamed for
a whole range of ills, including the economy.

Speaker 1 (11:58):
Yeah. Do you think allultimately that China is waging a
quiet war against the US? Do you think that, you know,
where does he stand with Donald Trump? He understands and
has to understand that Donald Trump is not your average politician.

Speaker 3 (12:12):
Yes, Well, it is sometimes more than just a quiet war,
because China has been behind the Sentinel gangs, for instance.
So that's forty eight thousand Americans last year died from
fentanyl and this was a Communist Party project, So this
was These are not overdoses, Sewan, these are murders. And
clearly the Communist Party has made it very clear in

(12:33):
his propaganda and through other ways that they believe that
the United States is the enemy. They believe we're an
existential threat. So the party has not been shy about
telling the American people where we stand with China.

Speaker 1 (12:47):
Well, we'll find out what happens. But this is going
to be a very interesting trip, a very interesting meeting.
I hope for the sake of everybody that, you know what,
they find a way to thread needles and get along.
I think it's in the world's best interest if they did,
and I'd like to see she pull away from Putin,
so I'm hoping that happens as well. Gordon Chang, thank

(13:09):
you appreciate your time eight hundred and nine four one
showing us a number if you want to be a
part of the program, get to our busy busy phones.
Well we we do have a whole bunch of other
news I haven't hit yet. By the way, did you
see the the hard hitting news show The View today?
They went nuts. They sounded a five alarm fire over
Donald Trump, you know, possibly running for a third term.

(13:32):
WHOOPI Goldberg, Well, you know who told us he was
going to be a dictator on day one, and damn
is a if he is a dictator. By the way,
he made the comment in an interview with me, and
the full context of it is I said, well, the
saying that you're going to be a dictator, he said, well,
I am for one day, and I'm going to secure
the borders. And he said he's going to do one

(13:54):
other thing and cut taxes. Okay, that's that was the
extent of his full remarks in context. And then you know,
Goldberg referring to Steve Bannon's claim that he's going to
get a third term anyway. So Trump gave his nebulous answer,
Am I ruling it out? I mean, you have to
tell me, he said. You know, he's trolling people constantly.
They don't even know it. Alissa Farrah Griffin, There's certain

(14:18):
people in Trump's orbit who when you tell, when you tell,
what they're going to do, I listen. I'd put Steve
Bannon on the top of that list. Been the most
senior advisor to Trump in his first term, and he
predicted the events around January sixth, and on and on
and on. Sunny House did Drum's ballroom project indicates he
doesn't plan to leave the White House. He's hooking up

(14:41):
the White House because he doesn't plan on ever leaving.
I mean, he's got these piece people like lives in
their head. Oh, it's not so bad of a weekend
in Chicago, I mean for them. I know, it's the
five times the homicide rate of New York City, which
says a lot five dead, twenty four wounded this weekend.

(15:01):
How's JB. Pritzker and Brandon Johnson's hate Trump plan working
out for the safety and security people. There is an
interesting faith issues have come up. Charlie Kirk inspiring his assassination,
inspiring gen Z to trade parties, you know, and frat
parties for prayer and faith for vivals. And it's pretty amazing.

(15:28):
You know that this is very real around the country.
I saw Joe Rogan, Joe Wright noticed Gavin is begging
Joe Rogan to go on. He's welcome. I've offered him
three hours on this radio show. An hour on TV.
We're on seven hundred and fifty stations. We're on Serious XM,
We're on you know, we podcast the show. Every station
has their own website that streams the show. I mean,

(15:50):
you can get it pretty much everywhere. And an hour
on Fox News and podcaster Joe Rogan praised the merits
of religion, noting that he enjoys going to church hearing
about the Bible and its teachings.

Speaker 2 (16:02):
I have started going to church every now and again.

Speaker 5 (16:04):
Yeah, yeah, do you enjoy it?

Speaker 6 (16:05):
I love it?

Speaker 5 (16:06):
Yeah, it's about I do too. It's a bunch of
people that are going to try to make their lives better.
They're trying to be a better person, and they're trying
to I mean, for me, at least the place that
I go to, they you know, they read and analyze
passages in the Bible. I'm really interested in what these
people were trying to say because I don't think it's nothing.

Speaker 1 (16:26):
And good for him. Uh, there is a you know,
a bunch of is. There's just so many signs that
that the Mayor of Kingston, for example, you know, push
to the limit after a near fatal snowplow accident, does
an interview with Fox News Digital and Anyway recall the

(16:47):
day that he nearly got crushed in Lake Tahoe, and
then he doubled down during the interview, saying an accident
like this showed him, you know that you're being tested
to your limits and it changes everything. And he talked
about the blessings that come out to something that crazy.
Sir Anthony Hopkins that described a mysterious epiphany in nineteen
seventy five after being addicted to alcohol apparently and he

(17:12):
was driving while intoxicated. He said he didn't care whether
he died, and then he describe coming to his senses
about you know, potentially hurting another person and he called
his agent for help. He called it an epiphany and
started his spiritual journey in life. These are real life stories,
real people. By the way, these liberal cities are facing

(17:34):
billions and economic losses as retail crime surges ninety three
percent since twenty nineteen. New York City tourism down four
billion dollars. San Francisco, he's a thirty four point eight
percent commercial vacancy rate in downtown because you can steal
with impunity there. It's insane. Anyway, let's get to our phones.

(17:58):
Eight hundred and nine foot one, Shawn as number if
you want to be a part of the program. Julius
in New Jersey, what's up, Julius, Julius, you know your
state is a good chance of electing a Republican. I'm
I would say that Jack Chittarelli is absolutely electable in
the state of New Jersey. If enough people wake up
and vote, it's now apparently turnout as high. That's good.

(18:21):
Independent turnout as high, that's good. In a state where
Democrats outnumber Republicans by over a million, that's that's a
that that would be the win of all wins. What's
going on?

Speaker 7 (18:32):
H Yeah, Chitarelly is, you know, a bastard, and I
really don't care about the Democratic nominee either, so you know,
either way, it's about who who's gonna screw me over more?
All Right, Tourism is down in places like New York
because well, people aren't traveling to the US, you know,

(18:52):
like this whole thing with the tariff.

Speaker 1 (18:54):
No, it's it's people have been scared away from big cities.
We're talking about people domestically in the US. They're staying
away from these dangerous cities. You might as well get
that through your head, because anything to the contrary is boloney.

Speaker 8 (19:08):
Oh please drop it. Okay, Oklahoma is more dangerous than
the city of New York. People come to New York City.

Speaker 1 (19:17):
How about Chicago's Chicago's say, if you want to go
to Chicago tomorrow and stay in Chicago and downtown in Chicago.

Speaker 8 (19:24):
Yeah, let's say that numbers. What area is the one
where the murders are happening the most? Yeah? Gee, I
wonder why? Ohso it's not the area where the cops
also beat the crap out of the locals for decades
and have cream?

Speaker 1 (19:38):
Did you wake up on I'm a crazy angry liberal day?
Today is today? You're crazy? Why are you so angry?
Here's the reality. The cities and towns that have bought
into defund dismantled no bail laws, reimagine the police, sending
the social workers and those that have been aiding in
a bedding and protecting illegal immigrants. So the city is

(20:01):
with the most crime. That's all there is to it.
It's a fact. You know, we put the numbers up
on TV regularly. Why are you so angry? If you
why can't you just admit that defund dismantle no bail
laws and reimagine the police is a dumb idea? Can
you acknowledge that?

Speaker 8 (20:17):
Okay, why do you make up?

Speaker 1 (20:18):
Can you I asked a question? Can you acknowledge that
that's yes or no?

Speaker 8 (20:21):
Stop putting words in my mouth. Stop putting words.

Speaker 1 (20:24):
No, I'm not putting where I'm asking for an answer.
I'm not telling you what answer to give me is
defund dismantle the police, no bail laws, reimagine the police,
and send in the social workers. Do you think that's
a good idea?

Speaker 3 (20:38):
You know what social workers should be.

Speaker 1 (20:41):
That's a yes or no question? Is it a good idea?

Speaker 8 (20:44):
Are you stupid yes or no questions? Because that's stupid.

Speaker 1 (20:47):
It's not a stupid yes or no question. It's a reality.
It's it's a reality check. Are those good ideas that
you support? Yes or no? I don't support them. Do
you support them?

Speaker 8 (20:58):
Right now? Stop making up humans?

Speaker 1 (21:02):
Do you support defund the police, dismantle the police, no
bail laws, and reimagine the police and send in social workers.
It's a yes or no question, and it's the last
time I'm asking you before I hang up on you.
Either answer it or this conversation's ending for me. I

(21:22):
didn't hear your answer.

Speaker 8 (21:23):
I said, I make my own arguments. You don't speak
for me.

Speaker 1 (21:27):
Those policies are in place in all of these liberal
cities and states. Do you support them? Last chance? Yes
or no?

Speaker 8 (21:36):
I'm not a Democrat, so I'm not speaking for the democrats.

Speaker 1 (21:40):
I asked if I didn't ask, if you're a Democrat,
do you support those policies? Yes or no?

Speaker 8 (21:47):
I don't know what the policies are because you have
you lie about these.

Speaker 1 (21:52):
Okay, I'm not lying. You need to read a newspaper
and watch the news. You're just you're not smart enough
to call the chef just not uh eight hundred? Is
that rude, Linda? That wasn't I could have been marking,
and I've found you a big dope. I could have
done that.

Speaker 4 (22:07):
I thought it was I think there's nothing more interesting
than saying to someone, what are your thoughts on this?
And then them saying, you're putting words in my mouth.
I'm like what, I'm asking you a question and asking
for your opinion.

Speaker 1 (22:20):
He by fou I'm bag. Remember you used to say,
oh my god.

Speaker 4 (22:25):
I mean these guys were legends.

Speaker 1 (22:26):
You know.

Speaker 4 (22:26):
Now you can't say anything. I mean well, I mean
if you're on the left, you can say everything. If
you're on the right, you say anything, and you know,
the little flowers.

Speaker 1 (22:32):
Try it'd be nice and I will conversation. He didn't
want to go there because he knows he loses the
minuities Democrats are doing. It's just to the guy, you.

Speaker 4 (22:44):
Couldn't answer it.

Speaker 1 (22:45):
It was very strange my Free State of Florida. Greg
on the Sean Hannity Show.

Speaker 6 (22:49):
Hi, Hey, Sean, how you doing good to talk with you?

Speaker 1 (22:54):
I'm good. What's going on with you?

Speaker 8 (22:56):
Sean?

Speaker 6 (22:56):
You know I've been watching you know, I'm not I'm
originally be York and left a long time ago. You know,
I watched the races and this and that a little bit,
you know, I listened to Curtis Leelaw a little bit,
and I say to myself, man, he's a good candidate.
I don't understand this, mom, Donnie and all this socialism
coming up. But then I start to think about it,
and I think I start to understand, not saying agree,

(23:18):
but understand was why why it's more attractive? And long
story short, it's kind of the easy button, you know.
That's why somebody like AOC latches onto it. What's she
going to come up with? But along those lines, if
we if you want to keep it pushed back, I
really want to see ideas from Republicans. And I'll give
you an example right here in our free state of Florida.

(23:42):
Just last week, what did Governor DeSantis announce car insurance
prince reductions? Big big insurance companies are going to start
sending chucks back. Why they solved the root cause of
the problem. They put in litigation reform. This is the
type of thing that we need to hear from on
some of the big issues that the Democrats who love

(24:04):
socialism own. We need real solutions, real root causes, not
just socialism bad. Socialism bad. This is what I get it.
We an'll get it. But when people are hurting, people
are going to latch onto it. You know, the Democrats
are very much from more from the emotional point of view,
So they have that, you know, that sense of you know,
poor people, we need to help them, and this and

(24:24):
that we really need I really would like our lot
of our Republicans to give more root, cause you need
to really lift a hood on some of these bigger
social issues that have been around for forty fifty sixty
years and are not getting solved. Why do we have
a big divide because the problems aren't really getting solved.
And so in the end, sooner or later, I'm afraid

(24:46):
Democrats are going to have the majority and they're going
to get more and more socialism through.

Speaker 1 (24:51):
Listen now that they've gone so radical left and they're
so outward about it, and this is now the future,
this is the radicalize Democratic Party. I think they're losing
more and more of the country and you're going to
see that elections for them on a national basis are
going to be harder to win. You know, had they

(25:12):
been smart, they would have been introspective, they would have
been self reflection, they would have been meetings. And unfortunately
they all live in a state of constant fear of
this rise in radicalism. I mean, Chuck Schumer is exhibit A.
Hakeem Jeffers endorsing Mamdani Exhibit B. They're not leaders, They're

(25:36):
they're leaders in name only. The real leaders thought leaders
in the Democratic Party are aoc Jasmine Crockett, the Squad,
Grandpa Bernie Pocahontas, and now Mamdani. And you know there
was a poll. Oh Andrew CMO's closing the gap. He's
only losing by ten points in the latest poll. I'm like, oh, okay,
that really gives me confidence. He's doing great. All right,

(25:59):
that's good to wrap things up for today. Hannity Tonight
on the Fox News Channel loaded up. Okay, we're gonna
you know, all these millions of Americans, forty million Americans
won't have food stamps in a few days. A Democrat
is going to open the government. We'll check in with
the Senate Majority Leader, John Thune, Ted Cruz Tonight, Steve Hilton,

(26:20):
he wants to be the next governor California. Katie Pavlich
and Emily Campanno, and much more news you'll never get
from the state run legacy media. Mobs say your DBR
Tonight Hannity nine Eastern. We'll see you then back here tomorrow.
Thank you for making this show possible.
