Speaker 1 (00:00):
Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
don't know y'all looking back to back down, giving them
like theming bus bus things. And it's not true. Good

(00:21):
Steve Hartley, I don't joy. You gotta use turning the

(01:24):
You gotta turn to turn them out, got to turn

(01:44):
out to turn turn the water the water. Come come
on your baby, uh huh, I sure will. A good
morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, Come on

(02:07):
dig me now. One and all is Steve Harvey. Man
got a radio show. Steve Harvey got a radio show
because God in the blessing business. Yeah, that's all. I'm
just a recipient. Steve Harvey got a radio show because
God is in the show you favor business. He showed
me some favor. Steve Harvey got a radio show because

(02:30):
God is in the forgiving business. God and forgave me
thousands and thousands of times, you know. And I say
that as a big number like that, because it's probably true.
God is a forgiving God. That's how I exist today,

(02:51):
and that's how you exist today. And one of the
things I want to remind you about even in existing today,
you know, Joel Oldstein had a has a book out
call It's Your Time. I love this book. It's called
It's Your Time, And that's kind of what I want
to touch you on today. And I want to remind
you all that it's still your time. See, you know

(03:15):
there's look, you know, they've got unsuccessful people have created
a lot of sayings to justify our failures as people. Well,
my ship has passed. That that was created by a
person who did not quite make their goal in the

(03:38):
amount of time that they had set for. So to
justify it, here comes this great, seemingly very clever saying,
and a lot of us are dept. Well, my ship
has passed, so we adopt that. Here's another one. Well,
I guess it just wasn't meant to be. That sounds good,
don't it, Because they mix it up with a little

(03:59):
bit of faith based in it. I guessed it wasn't. Well,
here's another one. I guess if God wanted it for me,
i'd have it. Are you serious? Man? Are you serious?
You're actually gonna use that one to to to justify
where you are in life? Man? That's that's so, that's

(04:22):
so not the case. I want to remind everybody today
that it's still your time. That you know your ship
hasn't sailed, you didn't miss all of your opportunities. There's others.
It's still your time. You know you still got a chance,

(04:44):
You still have a shot. Here's a good one. You
still have hope, you do all of you. As long
as God is who he is, there's always hope for you.
You can never lose sight of that. You can never

(05:05):
let the devil win that battle that there is no
hope for you and cause you to do something that's unthinkable.
I'm just gonna cash in the chips. I'm gonna take
my life. I'm gonna commit suicide. No, no, no, wait
a second, Wait a second, Are you for real? That's

(05:25):
not God talking to you. That's something wrong and it's
not coming from him. It's still your time. You still
got a chance. There's always hope. But listen to me.
You got to move and you got to move on it.
So many people are not getting the full benefit of

(05:48):
their life, and so many people are not getting all
the blessings that God has for because you keep waiting
on the perfect time. Man, how many times have I
heard people come to me and say, Man, I'm just
waiting on everything to line up. Right, Man, I'm waiting
on the perfect time to get He can't tell you something.

(06:08):
If I were waiting on the perfect time, I wouldn't
be hardly any of the things that I've become. And
one of my greatest blessings was marrying Marjorie. I wouldn't
even have married Marjorie if I was waiting on the
perfect time because I had gone through what I thought

(06:31):
was enough misery to cover my entire lifetime. And so
when I was first divorced, I just said, man, it's
gonna be five six years before I do this again.
I said it two years later I was married. But

(06:53):
guess what, man, it wasn't the perfect time. I didn't
have my ducks, all my ducks lined up in a role.
It was still some things I needed to clean up.
I even told her, it's some things I want to
clean up out of my life before you know it's
it's I want I want to make sure I got
all the stars are lined up, you know I want

(07:14):
to I want to wait until all the ducks are
in a row. I was waiting on the perfect time.
If I had not stopped and Marjorie and I had
set out and said to each other there will be
no perfect time. And then she said, I'll go through
with you whatever you're going through. That was it. I

(07:37):
took a chance. The ducks were not lined up in
a row. Had a lot of baggage in my life, man,
I wanted to try to clear up. I want to
do some things financially different. I wanted to just get
rid of some residue I had in my life. She said, no,
we'll do it together, because they ain't no perfect time.

(07:59):
And guess what it was it So, if you're out
there waiting on the perfect time to do something, it
may not come. There is no such thing as waiting
on the perfect time. I've said this a hundred times,
and here comes one on one. The road to success
is always under construction. You ain't gonna go out there
and there ain't no barrels on the road. You're not

(08:20):
going out there and not running to deep to a sign.
You're not going out there without seeing the men working
sign to get off. You're not going out there to
see it. So guess what, stop waiting on the stars.
I got man, this is a perfect time to do
it now. If you're waiting on the perfect time, that
could be one of your biggest problems. You're still waiting.

(08:41):
You have got to move and you've got to move
on it, and you've got to make a decision to
go now. God will get you through everything necessary for
you to get through. But you can't quit though. See
it is as apart. You can't quit just because the
road you're own is under construction. You get off at
the exit because you're tired of all the bump of

(09:03):
the bumper traffic. It's that way. Get you some God,
like I said, get you some God, and go on
and go see what your life can be like. So
stop waiting on the perfect time, stop waiting on the
stars to align themselves. You got to move and you
got to move on it. Get you some God, apply

(09:23):
some faith, and get started. And remember when you get
out there, coming towards your goal, the road to construct,
the road to success is always under construction. If it
was easy, everybody would be it. Stop expecting it to
be easy. Come on out here, get up in this thing.
It's funky out here. Yeah I got all that. It's
hard out here, yeah I got all that. But what
you wanna do, man, what you wanna do? You're gonna

(09:47):
push your chips up to the window. It ain't time
for that. You still got time, You still got a chance.
There's always hope, there's always God. That's my conversation to do.
You're listening to morning show, ladies and gentlemen, it is
about time to get this show started. To Steve Harvey

(10:08):
Morning Show, He's on the launch pad, ready to go.
Roscoe Wallace graced us last week. He wrote to encamera
to inform us. Roscoe Wallace wrote the hit Try Jesus,
and he performed it last week. I felt so honored
to have him on this show, so moved by his

(10:29):
renditional Try Jesus was just amazing. So thank y'all. Shirley
straw Berry, Good morning, Steve, Happy Monday for real. I
love how you sing my name. I am here, good morning.
See what's up crew? That damn junior boy? Every time

(10:49):
you call j Anthony Brown. I'm not hire often, but
I'm here. I'm not here a lot, but I'm here.
Not you say that right? No, I'm aware that I'm
whereverybody good. Huh. I have no idea, no idea looking
at No, No, you can't he's not here. If he's

(11:13):
not here, it must be that he's doing something very important,
very important, very what he got? What what what he
got that's more important than his job? He looked, he
didn't run it by me. What he was he got nothing?
Pay more than this, right than you? Nothing? I'm telling

(11:35):
you is I know him. We ain't got nothing, pay
more than this. Got to be very Okay, what's going on?
How you doing that? Yeah? Yeah, because you keep saying yeah, yeah,
I'm through talking. Because you said he had something very

(11:57):
important to do and what he got that's more important
than this hill. I'm Steve Joe Biden. I know he's
supposed to pick a woman. Maybe he's changed his mind.
He's gonna pick Tommy. That's the only thing I could
see that's more important. It would really be hard for
me to pull that handle for Joe bidden. Yeah, maybe
he got word Jesus is coming back. That's the only

(12:19):
thing I could see that You're saying, Joe Biden chooses Tommy,
all bets are off? Is that what you're saying. I'm
saying I would vote for him, but it would be
really hard because other than the person that's in the
White House right now, Tommy would be the third worst

(12:39):
person to be in that White House. But at right
after the one that's in that it's two people that
ain't got no business in that white House. Seen, Tommy,
you have nothing to say to that. I'm just waiting
to eat any because i know I'm gonna get cut up. Okay,
here's the two people that don't need to be in

(13:00):
the White House, Tommy and Kanye. I need the one
of them need to be. It don't sound right to
nobody saying the fact that you put Tommy with Kanye.
I'm ashamed. I'm a you said you the wan said Kanye,

(13:20):
we're gonna pick Tommy. All's running me. I didn't see ye.
That's an inso that is all right. Sorry, this is
a fascinating conversation, but we really have to move on.
Coming up with thirty two minutes after the hour, we'll
have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show, and we'll
have Asked the Cello with the Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey.

(13:42):
Right after this. You're listening to the Steven Show. All right, Steve,
time now for one of your favorite segments. It could
be very well, your very favorite segment. It's called Asked
the Cello. You are the Chief Love Officer of course.
Uh and uh. If you have a question for our CLO,
you can submit your question, or, as Tommy calls it,

(14:04):
the Cloe. You can submit your questions at Steve HARVEYFM
dot com. Are you ready, Cloe? Here we go. This
one is from Lorna in Hawaii. She says, I got
married six months ago and my husband is totally a
different man now. We dated for two years and he
was my protector and king. We rarely argued, and if

(14:26):
we did, we got over it. Since marriage, we've had
a few squabbles and now when it gets heated, my
husband starts crying. He says he can't stand to see
me disappointed and he does not want to fail as
a husband. He's done it a few times and it's
a turn off. I end up hugging him so he'll

(14:47):
stop crying and relax. I can't discuss issues with a
cry baby. How can I get him to man up
and stop acting like a child? Go getting a drive off?
He'll start just leave. Yeah. See, let me tell you something.
Men who do that do that like kids fourteen. I'm

(15:10):
crying because I don't want to hurt you. I don't
want to see you disappointed. I don't want to fail
as a hookman. So that's his way of being deep.
When he started crying, just say, oh lord and go
get in the car, drive off, leaving right there he
will stop crying. Really, what you for? Help? There's no
way to fix this. You can't talk a guy to

(15:32):
crying who wants to cry? You know, get you know,
I mean, look, you know, look that this ain't no movie.
If there's no movie playing, he shouldn't just be crying,
you know. Now this is Brian, so Brian's song, and
he said he picked I love you pick I cry. Yeah,

(15:58):
where you get, Brian say, every man on the show
has cried at some point. So wrong for crying, because man, please,
I ain't never cry for disappoint nobody better get over mistakes,

(16:20):
all right, So you are the advice from Steve Laura.
Get in the car and drive off when he starts crying. Okay,
oh goodness, I know that's what he said, all right.
This one's from Kenisha. She's an online listener. Steve uh
Kanisha says, I recently ended a four year relationship, but
my ex's family wants to stay in contact with me.

(16:41):
I developed a bond with most of his family members,
and we spent a lot of time together over the years.
I feel closer to most of them than my own family.
But I do not want to cause any problems with
my ex. I have tried to make sure he's working
or not around if I stop by the visit, and
I'm not sure if this will affect my new relationship.
And I feel like I'm sneaking around. Is it wrong

(17:03):
to stay in touch with my ex's family? No, The
reason they staying in touch because you the best thing
ever happened to him. That's what the problem is. And
they're just hoping to God he pulled his stupid ass
together and realize what he did. And they don't want
you too far gone. So they they're hoping for because

(17:25):
he dumb, that he'd have done dumb things before. So yeah,
this this ain't nothing you did. If you had cheated
on him and the family and cut you out, this
is what they know. He ain't about nothing. Okay, but
she's a really in a new relationship. Well, you've in
a new relationship is gonna hurt you because when he
finds out you over there at your ex's house, he
gonna want he gonna figure. You know what I mean,

(17:47):
what's what you're still over? Get in your car and
drive off a little just like asked you about it.
Get in your car. I love to see y'all. All right,
Uh this last one time I can ask him a

(18:12):
question about the crying. Can you drive off? If you
drive off when he's crying and you come back and
he's still crying, what do you take another lap round
the block, right back in the car. Yeah, the point
is for her not to be in the house when

(18:32):
he's crying. YEA, sounded like my daddy's motto was you're
gonna either get over it or you're gonna die. Man. Yes, yes, okay,
Steve Cello. This is from Camille in Newark, New Jersey.
She says, I have a three year old son that
I adore and I have spoiled completely. I just had

(18:53):
my second child, and my son is totally jealous. I
tried to explain to him about the new baby, but
all he said was I'm the baby. Now. He yells
at the baby and has tantrums when I'm feeding, bathing,
or just holding the baby. He's been insisting that I
hold him like a newborn. We don't yell at him

(19:14):
or punish him because he simply doesn't understand what's going on.
How can we stop the tantrums and the jealousy. Wait
a minute, First of all, how does he not understand
what's going on? Yeah, he knows exactly what's going on.
It ain't about me no more. He didn't figure that out.
And this little whatever, this he is, even bought in

(19:36):
him all of a sudden, it's sucking up my time. Yeah,
I'm gonna have as soon as you ain't looking, I'm
gonna do something here. See. So now what you got
to do is you got to snatch his ass up.
Now you've spoiled me completely. They're doing. It's okay to
adore your children, absolutely nothing more would do in your children,
most parents do. But he has to adore this newborn baby.

(19:59):
He has a school make room for him. So you
had to have some real conversations with this baby right
here and let him know that how important the little
baby is to him, you know, make him a part
of raising the baby. You got to hold your little brother,
your little sister. You got to be calling your little
brother and your little sister counting on you. He needs you.
You know, make him feel like he's responsible for something

(20:21):
instead of somebody always responsible for him. You got to
include him in the family diameter. But he said, he
say one more thing about the baby room. Knock his
ass crossed? Thank you sell or just getting the car
and drive off, yeah with the baby. Yeah at the house.

(20:42):
All right. Listen, Coming up next Church Complaints with the
Reverend Motown and very special guests, Reverend Adnoid. Wow. Right
after this you're listening. Coming up at the top of
the hour, Miss Anna's here with today's national news. Yesterday
there was a powerful point one earthquake that jolted North Carolina. Wow.

(21:04):
At the top of the hour and entertainment news, we'll
talk about the new video that's out with Kurdie b
and Magna Stallion with Carla. But today is Monday. Reverend
Motown is here digging depth, jam Alpin. Reverend Adnoid We
we are gonna have a special complaint. Dec we are
my older brother sitting in for deacon death jail. My

(21:31):
older brother broke out from under his tutelage and became
the world renowned Reverend Motown. That I'm here is today. Boy,
As you can tell the reason my brother was unable
to make it to the upper tier of ministry and

(21:52):
be as popular as I am because he has a
nasal condition or NAIs, and it has all prohabited him
from making it hobbled him greatly. They can't understand him.
He is doing the best he can with trust, complaint

(22:14):
had knowing anim man, Oh hero, you are so absolutely right.
Breathing held me back. You're absolutely right. But I've already
explained that. I'm just saying it. I'm amenuted. So what
I have here in my head is complaints as announcements.
I have both. I have complaints and today are It's

(22:38):
just we'll go ahead. I'm not gonna be okay. Stop.
Here is my first announcement. This is not a complaint.
This is an announcement. If you have an aunt that
looks like fifty cents in your insted in being a
stunt devil, please see Sister Roneil after service. I have

(22:59):
an earnt that looks like fifty since you're instant in
being a stunt them it is a new movie, you see.
You can run the right up. Oh, I know it.
I would like to volunteer. I don't have an auntie,
but three of the choir members or in the auto

(23:22):
section the ones, all three of them, the ones that
stands right next to the tenor sects. I have been
confused several times. Please all put them in the movie
or at least a trial. Thank you, go ahead. That
was an announcement. Just one is a complaint, so that
they don't be confused. This is an announcement. The black

(23:45):
church members are mad at the white church members because
they know all the words to the Negro National Anthem.
They are upset that the white church members know all
the words to the National Negro Anthem and they don't.
Because we want you to settle this argument. Why are
the upset with them? We have had this own going

(24:11):
problem for a while. Oh, all of our white members
that have come from adjacent ad joining congregations are used
to singing from hymn books. Therefore they all sang the
Negro Spiritual from a hymn book and practice it and

(24:35):
knew the words. None of us know the words. As
I sang the Negro National Anthem. By the time I
get diverse three, I am horribly depressed, no longer motivated
to even be a Negro. You hate them most uplifting song.

(25:02):
It is not a run. So are you listening to that?
A lot of paid and overcoming, and that a lot
of it wasn't overcoming it being to that even Lord,
the church members are complaining that this is another complaint
of complaining that since they're using their own communion one

(25:23):
to have communion, when you replace it with the more
expensive type of wine, they're us the cheap one, and
they weren't you sending them a better grade of wine.
So we are doing communion over a zoom for COVID reasons.
So whatever it is you're using at your house, we're

(25:45):
allowing you to use. Now, I'm God must inform several
people I have been watching these zoom called closely wine.
It's what we're supposed to use, the representative of the
blood hood. All the brown and clear beverages that I'm
seeing on zoom gonna have to stop. It's too much.

(26:12):
As you turn it up. It's not wine. No red
burgunder Merlot, none of that. I'm seeing a lot of
and a lot of expressions after the war after they drinking.
Doesn't say wine, that ain't wine. That's not a wine.

(26:32):
Sound that's not a wine. White man, bite man is
not a one go ahead. Pounding your chest is not
a wine sound when you want to be killed. This

(26:53):
is a complaint. Lake Church members are tuning into zoom
and it would like to complain not complaining about your
background in background is na. There's a lot of books
but that you have read and they're happy with that.
But it won't since we have to see the same
background every week. Would you be interested in moving from

(27:15):
week to week to a different room just to get
him another look? It would that be something you beauty,
didn't do it? No, that's not what we're gonna do.
Ain't nobody doing all that? No, I got that camera
set in a location that conduced to make me look

(27:35):
more intellectual. While we're gonna lead them books back now,
and I'll tell you what. We're gonna have a contest
next week and anyone can name the title of all
the books behind me all of what you get, and
the first person can do that is gonna win something.

(28:00):
But I haven't decided you because it ain't nobody gonna win,
because I ain't gonna move out the way for some
of them times, I go ahead, go ahead. The senior
the senior flip phone choir would like to know when
you set sometime aside for them to sing next week.

(28:24):
I've seen you flip phone chi, did you please search sometime? Said,
I have told them that they're not opening their phones
up and getting the right text messages to the words.
They're all singing different songs, and until they get out smartphone,
we're not gonna handy them man songs. All right, ladies

(28:52):
and gentlemen. That is church complaints from Reverend Motown and
his brother, Reverend ADNOI coming up at the top of
the hour. We'll have some entertainment and national news right
after this. You're listening in the entertainment news, Nick Cannon
says he is going to vote for none other than

(29:12):
guess who's Steve. This fool said he voted for Kanye
He said it, He's voting for Kanye West. This was
while he was in the airport n LA. TMZ asked
him what did he think about Kanye running for president.
Nick responded, I love it, and I'm going to vote
for him because we need another black man in power.

(29:35):
You know what, not it's not a black meat in power.
I think I think Kanye was in power when he
started these gospel choad the church. I think he was
in power with these Jeezys and Adidas. I think he's
doing great work. And uh, you know this here this

(29:56):
this president run this to take vote to from Biden,
which you understand he just said he wanted to do. Well,
Then what you're saying is you're doing this just so
Trump can be president. And if that's what you're you're
you're not doing this to win, You're doing this to
take votes away from Biden. That's that's brother. Do you

(30:20):
understand what's happening in this world? Hey, let me tell
y'all something. If y'all want to understand what's really you
should watch this special on Netflix about immigration. Okay, Netflix
is trending. It's called immigration something. I don't have an
I'm gonna look it up, but buddy, let me tell
you something. I watched it over the weekend. Oh my goodness.

(30:43):
What the Trump administration when he first got in and
he stopped all of those it used to be, you know,
isis was here to collect illegals that were in this
country that we had criminal records and warrants and stuff.
Immigration nation. Yeah, then the focus right after he got
in it became jess all all in, everybody everybody, go,

(31:10):
get everybody, and man, it's some horrible stories on there
about is. We have to check it out. It's some
horrible stories. Man. All right, well, Nick, at least Kanye
knows he can depend on Nick's vote. But we're moving on.
We know what to do. Please go to when we
all vote, dot org and registers so we can make

(31:31):
sure that we are counted this election. Also, um, Carla,
you have a big news story for US music news
story for US. It's trending. Huh, it's been trendish early.
We talked about it off the air. Holl word. Oh
oh wait, guess before you do that. Yes, I was.
I was reading something. I think it's important for our
listeners to notice. Hey, man, y'all, we ain't got no

(31:55):
time for this. We ain't got no time for him,
for Nick Cannon with this foolishness. If you take votes
away from Biden, you're not going to be president. You're
handing it to Donald Trump. This is sick, man. Yeah,
we so we're so stupid. Come on, Carley, you had
music news. Go ahead. I'm sorry, I just okay, you

(32:18):
could say what you want to say. That's a damn shame.
Very important that's very important what you're saying, because it's
not a game, and folks have to take this very seriously. Yeah, yeah,
the countdown is on. Yeah, ladies and gentlemen, Miss Ann Tripp.
This is entered with the News. In the wake of
last Tuesday's massive and deadly warehouse explosion at Bay Routes Airport,

(32:40):
at least six Elevenese lawmakers and one cabinet member have
resigned here in this country. According to JOHNS Hopkins University,
coronavirus cases in the US have now topped five million,
and since the Congress hasn't come to any agreement, President
Trump decided to sign some executive orders over the weekend.
One suspends payments on some student loans to the end

(33:00):
of this year. One prevents renters from being evicted from
federal housing. Another one instructs employers to defer certain payroll
taxes for people earning less than one hundred thousand dollars
a year. You know that contributors to Social Security those
payroll taxes, and the last one provides an additional three
to four hundred dollars a week and extra unemployment benefits. However,
critics say the president don't have the power to tell

(33:21):
the Congress how to spend the country's money. He wants
to use FEMA disaster money instead, which would provide the
extra three hundred or four hundred dollars, with the idea
that the states would have to request the FEMA money,
contribute to the pot, and then administer. When he was
a lot of governors say that doesn't sound good, and
some of the other executive orders that he signed, a
lot of other governors is saying that he can't do that.

(33:42):
By the way, the President was in Ohio over the
weekend and laid out part of his reelection strategy, which
is trying to convince people that lifelong Catholic Joe Biden
hates God. He's following the radical left agenda. Take away
your guns, destroy your Second Amendment, No, let you know anything,
hurt the Bible, hurt God. He's against God, He's against guns,

(34:07):
he's against energy. Yeah. In Kentucky, Oprah Winfrey has paid
for twenty six billboards with the face of Brianna Taylor
on them. Twenty six because Brianna was only twenty six
when she was shot to death in her Louisville home
by three cops who burst in mistakenly looking for some
drug suspect. You know. Brianna Taylor was an emergency medical technician,

(34:27):
young black lady. All three reportedly filed false paperwork about
the incident, claiming there was nobody died, they didn't burst
in a whole lot of stuff. The copies of the
paperwork were online, you could see how they lied. Yet
only one of them has been called on the carpet
the billboards read their quote, if you turn a blind
either racism, you become an accomplice to it. That's what says.

(34:49):
A judge in Minneapolis has ordered the body camp footage
of two of the now fired cops involved in the
knee on his neck police killing of George Floyd to
be released to the public. The videos contained more than
an hour of and apparently show a more complete account
of the CoP's actions and what e ms did and
did not do when they got to the scene. A
strong earthquake rout on much of North Carolina yesterday was

(35:10):
a magnitude five point one Shaker, located just south of Sparta,
was felt all the way from Virginia, all the way
down to Atlanta, and finally today as Nashville loved those
cookies day. You can eat mine cookies, but they cook
it down. Now, okay, sorry, Now back to the Steve
Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to show. Steve introduced your boy,

(35:33):
ladies and gentlemen. For those of you who don't know
him like I do, I want you all to prepare
yourself to take a look into the mind of the obscure,
absurd and twisted but funny mind of Jay Anthony Brown.

(35:54):
Come with Jay, what do you have for us today?
Everybody has been in this situation. You're having an argument,
a full blown argument with somebody. All of a sudden,
the argument goes into a territory that's surprising to you,
and they start to run off phrases and that's why.
It has nothing to do with the argument. But you

(36:16):
go in to that's why you know, you have an
argument about money and dash why and and that's why
your uncle with the jail, Yeah that's why. Yeah? Oh yeah, okay,
and that's why your sois got a new disease. H

(36:38):
oh my god, what what makes you even matter? Yeah? Okay, yeah, okay,
you so smart. That's why y'all cable got cut off?
Boom do the argument? Yeah, yeah, yes, you so smart.

(37:03):
That's why your stepdaddy got a chip too. Wow. And
that's why your big brother stayed back in college and
then city. That's why you don't have a degree. That
that that's why, that's why Perchie beat your daddy. Ass.

(37:28):
He's in it now you. He loves to get in it. Pantiness.
You know that guy? I tell you something else to
That's why no, no, no, no, you stopped talking to me.
That's why I don't even like your mama. Yeah too far, Junior,
Yeah yeah, yeah, okay, all right, And that's why y'all

(37:51):
got miss match covers all in your house. How what happened?
And that's and that's why y'all refrigerator freezer, don't make ice?
How I got war just room temperature drinks. I'm sick

(38:18):
all this. That's why. That's that's why Kanye and Nick
gonna win. We're don't wear what President? All right, thank
you guys, thank you. Jay. Coming up at thirty four
minutes after the hour, the President signed an executive order

(38:40):
for COVID nineteen relief. We'll talk about that right after this.
You're listening to the Steve Morning Show. All right, here's
the question, what is going on after recent talks have
failed with both Republicans and Democrats for a second wave
of COVID nineteen relief aid. This past Saturday, President Trump
signed and executive order to implement certain parts of the

(39:02):
stimulus package. However, Democrats and how Speaker Nancy Pelosi said,
this executive order comes with strings attached and illusions. Well,
I mean, I mean, look, I mean one of the
things what the stimulus package I was to my understanding

(39:23):
was they reduced it hundred to four hundred. Yeah, they
had it at two hundred. The Democrats was fighting so
hard to get people more than two hundred a week.
The Republicans refused to give six hundred because to say
there wasn't incentivizing people to go back to work. But
here's the problem, there's no work to go back to.

(39:44):
That's that's a trick statement to make. A person getting
six hundred dollars a month don't want to go back
to work. Their restaurant is closed, their store is closed,
the shop is closed, but their work has gone. Yeah,
they make it seem like they were just sitting at
home collecting checks and if they didn't have these check
they're going back to work. Right, you can't go back

(40:04):
to work. And know what I'm saying was the governors
have to sign in. They have to sign off on
it too, because the state has to contribute to it
as well. Yeah, it's it's strings attached, just like the Democrats.

(40:24):
So if you're a governor you don't agree, then what happens.
And the governors have to go along with it because
it's the stimulus package. Even though it's a stimulus, it's
still contributions coming from the state level, and the state
is getting hit with this high levels of unemployment. The

(40:44):
unemployment levels have skyrocketing and it's bankrupting the unemployment system. Yes, yes, sir,
yes sir, yes, yes, it's just it's so crazy. Um
And other political news, Joe Biden says he wills his
vice president vice presidential pick this week. We all want

(41:04):
to know what we have a black woman as as
vice presidential nominee. Okay, people are asking, um. Word has
it that Biden's top three picks are Senator Kamala Harris,
former United Nations Ambassador and Obama advisor Susan Rice, and
Representative Karen Bass from Los Angeles. She's also the chair

(41:26):
of the Congressional Black Caucus, and uh, honestly, honestly, I
just need him to pick someone that's going to win. Yeah,
it's going to help him. Karen Rice. The Republicans, Susan
Rice would love for her because then they're gonna throw
that beings and all that stuff up in their face.

(41:48):
They love for that. Yeah, Kamala Harris looks like the
leading candidate. And the third one surely Karen Bass. Karen Bass, yeah,
from the had a big Congressional Black caucus. She's a
Democrat from Los Angeles, and she right, you know who
I like who making the Stallion's whole Cardie b such

(42:14):
you know something too, see like uh, I don't know
if Nick Cannon was joking or what, but when they
stopped in an airport and they asked him, he said,
I'm gonna vote for Kanye because we need another black
man in power. I'm all for black people being in power.
True statement. Yeah, okay, but it but it has to
be the right person, you know. Yeah, I mean, you know,

(42:36):
I love to see black people uplifted and exalted to
high positions, but also would like for you to be qualified.
Kanye is running simply you all to detract vote. Listen
to what Ruted Giuliani just said. He think that trumps
he thinks that Kanye is still secretly a Trump Admira,

(42:59):
he's running detached votes from Joe Bright. Y'all, this is
we ain't got time for this, and if you do,
then Trump is back in the office again. Y'all, this
can't happen. Kaw Kanye don't see this. I don't think
he's that off. I think Kanye knows exactly what did.

(43:22):
He's not running. He's gonna walk in. No, you're not,
and President, you ain't even got a campaign ad out?
All right? Coming up next, the nephew isn't here, but
Junior is here for the prank phone call right after
this you're listening show coming up at the top of

(43:44):
the hour, about four minutes after. It's my strawberry letter
for today, subject why is he going through my dirty clothes? Okay, wow, yeah,
why yeah? Why is he going out of my dirty clothes?

(47:04):

we We're gonna explain my No, that explains man. This

(49:56):
and I mean the baddest radio show in the land?
A number one? Man? Hey, y'all, can I say this.
I don't plank seeing there, but I'm really getting more
and more ticked off about this Kanye running for president

(50:18):
Because you know, I was talking with Carla off the air,
and Colli made an excellent point. Kanye is a billionaire.
It ain't gonna matter to him who in the White
House he run and playing all these games because he
got a billion to play with. And then whoever making
in the White House what he cared. He got a

(50:39):
billion dollars to fix his life up any kind of
way he wants to. There are people who are suffering
because of this man's immigration policies. Look at the immigration
special on Netflix. Man, I'm telling you, it is heartbreaking.
All those Latino men sitting in prison that don't know
where their children are. That they were taking a three

(50:59):
year old, taken, a seven year old, taken, eleven year old,
just taken. Day in the shelter, the kids just crying
in this shelter, the people talking to him crazy, telling
these kids you will never see your parents again, These
evil ass people. And so then you got that going on.
You got the Docker program that shut down, you got

(51:20):
the travel ban on Muslims. You've got all of these
things right here. And then he tried to throw up
in your face like he didn't done so much for
African American prison reform. I'm not in prison. You ain't
done a damn thing for me. You ain't done to
stop talking about because you passed the prison reform bill
that you've done so much for African Americans. Excuse me, partner,

(51:41):
The majority of us have never ever been to prison,
nor will we ever go to prison? And cabet and
writing or wrong. You don't get cheering, you don't get
crackers for that. You don't get paraded for writing and injustice.
It shouldn't have happened anyway. And now Kanye, with this
foolishness talking about it, he's running for president. Nick Cannon.

(52:06):
I would vote for him because we need another black
man in power partner, not a game, y'all. This is
not a time for this here. Kanye got a billion dollars, man,
he can live any kind of way he wants to.
We have to vote for the masses, the people who
are affected by policy, who have to spend their life
man based on what the government do. Front who are

(52:29):
out of work because of COVID nineteen. Kanye a out
of work. Yeah, listen to me, y'all. When you got
a billion, you can sit it out. You can't. Eighty
five days until November thirty election. Go to when we
all vote dot org please? All right? Coming up next
Strawberry letter. We'll get into its subject. Why is he

(52:49):
going through my dirty clothes? Right after this, you're listening
to Steven Show all right. Time now for today's Strawberry
Letter and listen. If you need advice on relationships, on dating, work, sex, parenting,
and more, please submit your Strawberry Letter to Steve HARVEYFM
dot com and click submit Strawberry Letter. We could be

(53:10):
reading your letter live on the air, just like we're
going to read this one right here, right now. All right,
ladies and gentlemen, it's time for the Strawberry Letter with
my good friends. Shirley straw Thank you, junior. Subject, why
is he going through my dirty clothes? Dear Stephen, Shirley,
When you read my letter, I know you're going to
think my boyfriend and I are young. But I am

(53:32):
forty three and he is forty eight. We've been dating
for two years, and he is extremely intelligent. We both
love the Lord, and we have stable careers. So here's
the problem. I still go out with my girlfriends and
maintain a social life. Whenever I'm out, I'm not constantly
checking my phone because I want to stay present with

(53:52):
my friends. This was pre quarantine, so my boyfriend would
want to know where I went, what I ate drank,
who was there, and what kind of men were there.
I haven't had the chance to hang with my friends
and months. So we got together last month and I
had a great time, drank too much and got home
too late. My boyfriend called me three times, and each

(54:13):
time I answered and told him I was fine and
enjoying myself. I got home, showered, and passed out. Early.
The next morning, my boyfriend popped up at my house.
He said he is convinced that I'm cheating because my
behavior has changed. He went into my room and the
outfit I was wearing was on a chair. He smelled

(54:36):
it and examined it. Then he did the nastiest thing
I've ever seen. He went through my dirty clothes hamper
and examined a few pairs of my panties. I just
let him do it because I knew right then I
was about to break up with him and put him out.
We've been broken up for two weeks and I've had
to block him on social media. I started back answering

(54:59):
his as last week and he has apologized over and over.
He said he's so in love with me that he
can't help himself. He also said he wants to propose
if I'll take him back. Do you think he is
truly in love or will his paranoid behavior continue if
I take him back. Red flags, red flags, red flags

(55:22):
all over the place. You see them all through your letter,
and you already know the answer. You already know you're
asking if he's truly in love. He may be in
love with you, but this is certainly not the way
to express your love to someone you claim to love.
When you went out pre quarantine, he gave you the
third degree when you got home. What you aid, who

(55:43):
was there, what you drank? He was smelling your underwear,
smelling your clothes, going in the hamper, huh, and accusing
you of cheating. I just think he's too jealous. I
think he's too controlling. I think he doesn't trust you.
I think he's too immature. You know, you haven't shown
him any indication where you're cheating. You haven't been out

(56:06):
in a long time. You went out this time because
you got together with your friends after being quarantined for
a long time. He's saying he's so in love with you.
I just think that's an excuse to, you know, justify
his crazy behavior. I think these are all red flags,
and you need to pay attention to him, because you know,
we always want our men to change as women, but

(56:27):
they're not going to change. This is who he is. Okay.
If he's doing it now before you get married, it's
only going to continue and probably get worse. Sorry to say,
you know, if you do take him back, I don't
think you should. But if you do consider taking a back,
don't just marry him and think everything is going to

(56:47):
be rosy and all of that. Don't don't do that.
I don't think he's going to change. I don't think
you should put yourself through this. And if you do,
because sometimes we get weak, sometimes they can talk us
into it. Please please get some counseling and make sure
that his behavior has changed for over quite a while,
not just a few days or a few weeks. You know,

(57:09):
you you this is gonna be rough if you decide
to do that, I don't think you should. All right,
I'm just gonna say that, I don't think you should
take him back. Steve, Lady, This this lot of crazy.
It's wrong on so many levels. You all are too old,
he's too old for this. You've been dating two years.

(57:32):
He's extremely intelligent. Sounds stupid to me, but okay, you
say he's intelligent, I go along with it. Smelling draws
and picking up pennies and looking at stuff on it's
not intelligent. Here's a problem. I go my girlfriends and
have a social life, and you don't check your phone

(57:55):
a lot so you can stay present with your friends.
This was pre quarantine. So your boyfriend want to know
where I went, what I ate, where I drank, who
was there, what kind of men was there? And then
you know, a quarantine hit. You ain't had a chance
to be with your friends. So we got together, had
a great time, all right. So now you you you

(58:18):
trying to make it work, right, so you go out
with your girlfriends. Now he tripped, but you had a
great time. But you'll admit you drank too much. Got
home late. Boyfriend called you three times. Each time my
answer told him I was fine. I'm enjoying myself. I
got home, showered past our Early next morning, my boyfriend

(58:39):
popped up at the house and then here's where the
hell stars. He said, he is convinced that I'm cheating
because your behavior has changed. What did you do? What
did you do? He called your phone? You answer, what
did you do? That convinced him that you're cheating. This

(59:05):
is from this really intelligent man. You've got so just
through logic of deduction. Tell me what you did to
make him think that you were cheating? He went into
your room and outfit I was wearing was on a chair.
He smelled it and examined it. Now, let me ask
you a question. What happens if he misinterprets a smeil?

(59:30):
What to hell? Oh? I voice, sir thought, damn WHOA.
We'll have part two of Steve's response coming up in
twenty three minutes after the hour, subject why is he
going through my dirty clothes? We'll be back right after this.
You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve, come on,

(59:53):
Let's recap this crazy strawberry letters subject why is he
going through my dirty clothes? This man that doesn't trust you?
When you go out with your friends, who calls you?
And so one night you went out with your girlfriends.
He called three times, You answered each time, told him
you was fine. You got home and took a shower,

(01:00:15):
passed out. He pops up the next day, goes in
your room, picks up the dress that you had on
and smells it and examines it. And like I said,
before he left, see what you need to be concerned
with us what what happens if he miss interprets a smell.
See he didn't smell nothing, but he's convinced you cheating.

(01:00:38):
But what happens if he if he if he's missingterpets
a smell, are you gonna get jumped on? I mean,
what's his reaction gonna be? Because you ain't found out
what his real reaction is once he locks in on
Now you cheating? Because now he's smelling your Panis he

(01:00:59):
all up in the in your in your underwear? You scared?
Then he did the nasty thing I've ever seen. He
went through my dirty clothes hamper and examined a few
pairs of my pannish. I don't think. I think he
has a fetish and you just now finding out about it.
He got a panty fetish? Yeah, yeah, he got a

(01:01:19):
pany fetish. That sounds like a fetish to me. Now
he all up in that just a handful of pantis
just sniffing. I got a partner, got that. I've seen
this up close, befo. He scared me. Wait, yeah, he
told me about it. I don't hate dog. You need
to go get some help. That's the first time I've
ever told a black dude to go get something good ADVICEE.

(01:01:41):
I just let him do it because I knew right
then that I was about to break up with him
and put him out. We've been broken up for two
weeks and I've had to block him on social media.
I started back answering his cause last week. He has
apologized over and over. He said he's so in love
with me that he can't help himself. Now, let's look
at that statement right there. He's so in love with
you he can't help himself. So y'all been together two years.

(01:02:04):
He's so in love he can't help himself. So what
does he do with this so much in love feeling
and that he can't help himself? If you get back
together with him? What happens to the I can't help myself?
It don't go away? Shirley said, Jesus red Flags sister,

(01:02:25):
this dude right here, you're gonna have to you gonna
have to come to an understanding of exactly what you're
dealing with him. This dude's a little bit different now.
He also said he wants to propose if I take
him back. Do you think he's truly in love with me?
Or will his paranoid behavior continue. Yeah, it's gonna continue.
What's going to stop him from being so in love

(01:02:47):
with you and not helping himself. What's going to stop
him from being jealous? What's going to stop him when
he finally gets convinced that you're cheating to act on it?
Gonna see people like that, They don't, They don't search
when I find out what it is that I thank
you cheating with me on That has to be some

(01:03:08):
more to the story. You ain't even found out what
the repercussions is for the cheating. See, you haven't even
discovered that yet. And then you said in the letter,
do you think he's truly in loved me? With me?
I think the real question is are you truly in
love with him? Because while he was going through your stuff,

(01:03:29):
you say, it's cool, I'm breaking up with him, So
I don't really know that you truly in love with him.
You didn't say that, no where in the letter. All
you got is this real jealous dude. So if I
were you, I would be a little bit concerned, yeah,
with this jealous paranoia because once he is convinced that

(01:03:53):
you are cheating, which you are not, and he gets
the smelling stuff and missing turpets. Once smell, what's gonna
be the consequences? And if you got to do all
of that? I just smell these panties. What is this
cigar smell? Exactly? Why your party smell like cigars? Where

(01:04:17):
you being? Steve smoked cigars? He dragged you into it.
What you go write in on on the letter? On it?
Now you over that see him and everything. So lady,
if I wire you, I would be a little bit concerned.
Any questions about this letter? Guys, I mean she put

(01:04:40):
in here, yeah, that they love the Lord. They both
love the Lord and have stable careers, and all us
love the Lord. Yeah, exactly all of us got stable careers.
But we're not at the house melanow mates pen Oh

(01:05:01):
my god, so crazy, all that bloody Lord and all
the Scott stable. I'm not in there smelling Marge's drawn
and then he just pops up over her house unannounced. Yeah,

(01:05:24):
these are too many red flags. It's just too much.
So what if he pops up over his house and
he think you cheated over your house? This dude, Yeah,
this dude is difficult. I just don't want her to
get weak because he's begging her back, you know, and
take him back because she thinks he's going to change.

(01:05:46):
I don't want that to happen, because that will that
has happened, you know, so many times before. Well, anyway,
you know, don't take him back. Please post your comments
on Today's Strawberry Letter at Steve Harvey FM on Instagram
and Facebook. Coming up at forty six minutes after the hour,
Junior Sports Talk in full effect. We got some sports

(01:06:09):
to talk about. Junior coming up right after this. You're
listening to the stew Junior is here with what sports talk?
Let's go Junior. Yeah, this is a little different. I
want to start off a little different. Uh did Johnson?
You know a Shark Week on Discovery Channel as one
of my favorite weeks a TV is Shark Week. What

(01:06:31):
they had to rumble in the reef Mike Tyson versus
jaws this food. See, he's not gonna make the fight. Yeah,
he's not gonna make the fightal to Dwill because he
said he wants to confer his fears and swim with sharks.
First of all, day bite too, Mike, you need you

(01:06:55):
need to day bite too. Yeah, why you're black behind
down there? Okay, this is what got me up. Look
at this. He gets in there, he has to go
through training to train how to learn how to swim
with sharks, the dudes and the dunce. Well, his trainer
shows up missing all and a leg due to a
shark attack. Did He tells Mike, first thing, we need

(01:07:18):
to do what we listened it to you. Yeah, you
don't see blind people telling people how to drive. He
showed up with a whole right leg missing and a
level all and said, Mike, this is what we're gonna do.

(01:07:42):
I don't really believe he did it, but Mike did.
Mike did conquer his fears sharks. He did get into water,
and he was down there with some bullsharks man and
he just messed around with water for them for a
little while. But congratulations, Mike got get to the fight
on the twelve, not sitting up here playing with you
by this man. And then in other news, what was
the name of bull one bull sharks? Yeah, he out

(01:08:04):
there and I don't I don't even care. I don't
know it's a shark. It's just a shark. I saw
all I need to know. And I don't even know
where black people get the design to want to swim
with sharks. Well, this is the first time I've watched
Shark Week for years now. I've never seen a black
person on Shark Week, Shark Month, Shark Yell, Shark Centric. Yeah, yeah,

(01:08:30):
see something that big in the water. Shark Sharks don't
really attack whale, they don't really fool with them, you know.
But man, it was proud of Mike man he did.
He did a break thing. He conquered it, fear next up,
next up, Will Smith is gonna be on that this week.

(01:08:51):
That's his next thing. He wants to swim with sharks
to see black people started one black Perdy going to
hit him another. But we're not going on this show.
None of the water County Dog. I don't even like
swimming with fish, let alone shots aout doing it. No,

(01:09:11):
but grag ladies of Mike. He still got to fight
against Roy Jones Junior, September twelve, on paper of You.
We're gonna watch that fight though I'm watching. Oh yeah, man,
we got to do that all right, Thank you, Junior.
Coming up at the top of the hour, Carla with
her music news It's gonna be good too. Right after this,

(01:09:31):
you're listening to all right, Carla, come on girl, what
you got music news? What you got girl? You know
it's trendon. You know what's going on to hip hops, females,
the hottest women in the game, the rappers, Cardie B,
Megan v Stallion, Jail Your Girl, they got together. They

(01:09:53):
did a collabo Hana song Let's Call Wop, and the
internet and social media everybody has been going crazy about
the song and the video. They dropped a video on
Friday as well. Now, okay, wait, Carla, you can say it.
Girls say It's just Cardie Bee's booms were just out,
just boobages everywhere everywhere. I had to get another television.

(01:10:20):
What it was just really never Oh yeah, that's all
I wanted to say. Well, some of the celebrity appearances
in the video included Kylie Jenner. Folks got a problem
with hun in the video because they was like, she
shouldn't be in the video. You know, it was just
about the sisters in the video. But anyway, Normani and
other video and celebrity influencers they were in the video anyway.

(01:10:44):
The lyrics, the lyrics to the song a lot of
people feel are too much, too much sex talk for
artists that have a very young fan base. Hour However, however,
some people argued that these rappers, these female rappers, are
highlighting their sexuality. Uh. Millions, millions upon millions watch this

(01:11:09):
video premiere and you know it is what it is. Um,
I think it's a double standard. Then nobody says nothing
when men see what they say and they watch the
videos and in the minute the women say it, it's
all bad. It's it's that's true. It ain't double standard.

(01:11:31):
Uh huh, um. I think you know, listening to the lyrics,
they're they're out there, they're a clean version of course
that you're gonna hear on the radio probably go yeah,
when we go to break if, you'll probably hear the song. Um.
I just think anything that you know, we were talking
about it off the air, anything that is adult driven

(01:11:52):
like this at being a mother, you have to censor
stuff for your kids. You just have to these kids.
My daughter is exposed to so much, yea, more than
we were fast. It's hard for me to keep up
with everything. She comes in the house. You'll say something
me and my husband turn around ten where she hit
up from. Yeah, he was watching the whole time. And

(01:12:13):
I'll tell you TikTok will expose them to everything very
very fast. Yeah, very so. I mean you just gotta
be a parent. You gotta raise your kids, you gotta
monitor what's going on. Yeah, I mean, you know, this
is the world we live in now. It used to
be when we were growing up, you ain't going down there,

(01:12:33):
and then you didn't go down there. Well, you ain't
going down that. Coom, I zoom, call, I'll skype, I'll
do whatever. I'll face my room, I'll be there. So
it's very different. Call us right, because she's raising a
young girl. I saw the video. You know, if it
was just for grown people, they can say what they

(01:12:54):
want to say. But I listened to the lyrics and
I just it's sending just the wrong message to women.
It is now you old, okay, and I understand that,
but it's still sending the wrong message to women. I
got I got that. I'm you could you could say
Steve is old, but yeah, I'm old and old is

(01:13:15):
the goal. And so it's just sends the wrong message
to a lot of women. That is just about sex. Now, look,
do they have the freedom to flaunt their sexuality? Yes
they do. Are they artists? And they could do it
anywhere they want to boom boom do. I like Cardi
bat yelp. I ain't got no problem with that. I'm

(01:13:36):
just saying the video it's like, it's like the twerque video.
Fascinating video. You know, I didn't know they were singing it.
I watched, I know it. But it's just tough for
young girls to see that and pattern itself after that

(01:13:58):
and and try to and try to live that out.
They don't have the money that these artists have to
live it out. They may not have the mental capacity
to recover from doing the things that this suggest. That's
the point, that's right. So parents, parents, stay on monitor
as much as you can. Yeah, all right, you're listening to.

(01:14:23):
Oprah Winfrey put Brianna Taylor's picture on the cover of
her omagazine for the September issue. Oprah has now gone
a step further by putting that cover on twenty six
billboards in the Louisville, Kentucky area. Oprah and the O
magazine team plan to amplify Brianna's story and the fight

(01:14:45):
for justice by erecting a billboard for each year of
her young life. Each one will feature her image with
a call to action that reads demand that the police
involved in killing Brianna Taylor be arrested and charged. You
can visit until freedom dot com. Until Freedom is the
national social justice organization that recently announced that it would

(01:15:09):
be moving its entire team to Louisville. Let's go, oh,
let's go oh yeah, yeah, I love it that each
brings us closer. Yeah, black people in power right there? Yeah, yes,
justice for Brianna Taylor, say her name. Absolutely. And then
we got Nick Cannon voting for Kanye West. See what

(01:15:31):
see how it mixes? Yeah, see it's I'm telling you, man,
there's a way to do everything, and there's a Wrong's
the right way in the wrong way, it just causes
your way. Don't make it the right way. That's some wisdom, right,
that's to said, you've learned that old life. Yeah, that's

(01:15:53):
some wisdom for real. Yeah, all right, we'll have more
of the Steve Harvey Morning Show and some trend news
coming up at thirty three minutes after the hour. Thirty
three minutes after the hour, we'll be right back. You're
listening to show. In entertainment news, Nick Cannon says he
is going to vote for none other than guess who's

(01:16:16):
Steve noticed said he voted for Kanye. He said it,
He's voting for Kanye West. This was while he was
in the airport in n LA. TMZ asked him what
did he think about Kanye running for president. Nick responded,
I love it and I'm going to vote for him
because we need another black man in power. You know what,

(01:16:41):
it's not a black men in power. Okay. I think
I think Kanye was in power when he started these
the gospel choad the church. I think he was in
power with these Jeezys and Adidas. I think he's doing
great work. He made his billion and you know this
here this president run this to take votes away from Biden,

(01:17:04):
which I understand he just said he wanted to do. Well.
Then what you're saying is you're doing this just so
Trump can be president. And if that's what you're you're
you're not doing this to win, You're doing this to
take votes away from Biden. That's that's brother. Do you
understand what's happening in this world? Hey, let me tell

(01:17:28):
y'all something. If y'all want to understand what's really you
should watch this special on Netflix about immigration. Okay, Netflix
is trending. It's called immigration something. I don't have any
I'm gonna look it up, but buddy, let me tell
you something. I watched it over the weekend. Oh my goodness.
What the Trump administration when he first got in and

(01:17:49):
he stopped all of those it used to be you know,
isis was here to collect illegals that were in this
country that we had criminal records and warrants and stuff.
Immigration Nation. Yeah. Then the focus right after he got
in it became jess all all in, everybody, everybody, go,

(01:18:12):
get everybody, and man, it's some horrible stories on there
about is. We have to check it out. It's some
horrible stories. Man. All right, Well, Nick, at least Kanye
knows he can depend on next vote. But we're moving on.
We know what to do. Please go to when we
all vote, dot org and registers so we can make

(01:18:33):
sure that we are counted. This election coming up. It's
our last break of the day. It is the last
break of the day. In the other the head, if
you got a lot of hair on your chin and
you're missing a little bit of hair on the top
of your head, the hair top needs to go. Okay
needs to go. I got to do with the last

(01:18:54):
break of the day. If you got a lot on
your chin, keep that, but what's on top and it's
next spinning out let that go? Okay, he's this is
spoken from a bald man. These are words from the
completely A lot of brothers that won't come on the
side us, join us, the brother walk with us. Coming

(01:19:20):
up with some closing remarks from the one and only
Steve Harvey in forty nine minutes after right after this,
you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, here
we are, last break of the day, Steve. Guys man,
it's been a good Monday week. Yeah, it's great week.
This this whole this voting thing, everybody m hm um.

(01:19:45):
We were talking off the air, me and this team here.
Our country is in a crisis. I mean Carlin mentioned,
who would have ever thought that it wouldn't be safe
for your child to go to school because of a pandemic.
Who would have thought that doing a pandemic that America,

(01:20:10):
old great America, with the best doctors, the most money,
the best everything, would have a fourth of the world's
cases of corona or fourth of the world's deaths from corona.

(01:20:32):
And yet we're only four percent of the population. Who
would have thought that I wouldn't have Who would have
thought that twenty twenty would have been this way? Who
would have thought that we would have a president that
doesn't wear a mask? Who would have thought that we
would live in a country where a man says that

(01:20:53):
this pandemic is a hoax and didn't take it seriously.
Here is a man who said, when it was twelve
hundred cases in New York, in two weeks, it'll be
down to zero. Who would have thought that we would
have a president when they were talking about the now
over one hundred and sixty thousand deaths, that he would

(01:21:16):
other the statement it is what it is. Who would
have thought that this president would come in and resind
Docca that he doesn't care about immigration? That just who
any of this man? And now we've got the nerve

(01:21:39):
the audacity of Kanye to run for president. And then
Kanye come out over an article over the weekend and
admit it that he is trying to take votes from
Joe Biden. Wait a minute, man, and that he's not
walked going to walk into the White running into to

(01:21:59):
run for the White House. He's walking in. Hey, look, man,
this is not a game, y'all listen to me. And
then on top of that, Nick Cannon turns out and
says he's gonna vote for Kanye. These are two well
off people. Everybody who got some money where they can
turn around and they can make statements like this and

(01:22:20):
survive it. Who I represent on the radio? Who we
wake up for every morning? Me Shirley Carler, Jaye Kier
and Tommy Who and Monica. Who we wake up for
every morning is not for the wealthy. We wake up
for the masses. The people who made us the Steve
Harvey Morning Show, the people that made us to Kings

(01:22:42):
of comedy, the people that gave us comedy careers, radio careers,
TV careers. That's who we wake up to help get
through life, to help that you get off to a
great day. Kanye got a billion dollars, he got time
for this foolishness. But you're gonna take votes from Joe Biden.

(01:23:03):
Do you know that that means you're handing votes to
Donald Trump. Rudy Giuliani actually came out and said he's
good for Trump. He quietly thinks that Kanye Steele is
a big support of Trump. He's got to be if
your objective is to take votes from from Joe Biden,
black people, people of color, young people in hippop We're

(01:23:26):
nothing to be fooled by this foolishness. This is serious
business here. This country is in trouble, don't you see it.
Can't stand by and let this boy because he wants
to be a damn rapper call himself the next president.
The birthday party, This is ridiculous. We got no time
for this foolishness. We need justice for Brianna Taylor. We

(01:23:48):
need justice for Floyd, We need justice for Aubrey. We
need somebody in the White House that's not so divisive
in this country. We need we need programs put back
in place to help people to get back on the feet.
We need people who are sympathetic to people who are
out of work. And this COVID thing, Man, this crisis
that we're end after November, Man, this thing gonna get

(01:24:10):
worse and you're gonna need somebody in there with a
heart that cares about people. Kanye for president. We ain't
got time for this foolishness. You can put me on
the shade room, the blue room, the dark room, in
any other room you want to say, and this here,
we ain't got time for this foolishness. Here. We have

(01:24:32):
to get to the polls and vote. We have to
prove that black lives matter. We can make a difference, y'all.
We can make a serious impact in this election if
we all go to when we all vote dot org,
if we all make sure we're registered, and we all
early vote, and we all absentee vote, and we all

(01:24:52):
show up at the polls to vote. Because listen to me, man,
the fix is in. They gonna try, they try out
all ready to make the primary so difficult to vote,
to discourage you from voting in November. This president is
scared to death. But do not listen to the polls, y'all.
We have to show up and vote. Remember last time
they said Hilary was killing him in the polls. Remember

(01:25:16):
that he's the president and we the masses, cannot afford
four more years of this guy. It's the policy, it's
the divisiveness. You've got more some white supremacist groups raising
up now because they think they have a friend in
the White House. Come on, y'all, Kanye is not presidential.

(01:25:39):
This is not a game. Don't get deceived voting for
Kanye is not a vote for black people. Voting for
Kanye is a vote for Donald Trump, and he ain't
for black people period. When we all vote, dot org
sign up, make sure you register. Let's get to these polls.

(01:25:59):
Let's vote that stop some of this racial injustice. That's
how we prove black lives matter. In November, we're gonna
show them how much we matter because you're gonna count
out vote at the polls. Thank you. Oh, you're welcome.
