Speaker 1 (00:00):
Yeah, we're back. It's Turkey Toss twenty twenty five. We
are still live from Tony Cees here at Assembly Row
in Summerville. And by the way, Turkey Toss brought to
you by DC Ours, Baxter Amphitheater at Assembly Row as
well as well Tony c Sports Bar and Grill. Lisa
and I and Justin are sitting here in the dining
room at Tony C's with the champions, the Turkey Toss

(00:22):
Champions twenty twenty five Arlington High School, the spy Ponders,
And we've got Drew Beck and Brady Birkin. Hoo's Beck
and Hoo's what they import you from somewhere, Like, Wow,
you got to chalk right into the mic. Yeah, it's
a Dutch last name. That's okay. Yeah, So Brady, you
were a chaucer. Yeah, and I kind of knew the

(00:42):
second you stepped up to the starting line, the toss line,
that all the other schools were in trouble.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
We're really confident going into this. We knew what we
could do.

Speaker 3 (00:52):
We practiced a little bit yesterday and we were very
confident with what we did. Our coaches were saying like
that might be a record if you guys can throw that,
and we ended up throwing it. You know, someone said
might have been a record, you know, might not been one,
but we're very proudful what we did.

Speaker 4 (01:03):
So when you guys were practicing, were you using a
frozen turkey?

Speaker 5 (01:06):
Yeah, we were using a frozen turkey. I think the
one we were using was a little bit heavier than
the one we ended up using today, So make a
good move it. Also, it might have might have scared
scared us a little bit. You know, it hit like
a truck. So it was good to practice with it though,
because it made this a lot easier I think.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
Now, justin you were on the field when the bird
went in the air when Arlington tossed it. What were
you thinking when that bird went up?

Speaker 2 (01:29):
When the bird went into the air, Like, my soul
left my body, like that is this really happening? And
then my second thought was he's no way he's gonna
catch it. And then when he caught it, it was
just complete pandemonium. I couldn't believe it. Record, it's a record.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
Yeah. It kind of had the feel of game over
right guys. Yeah, Oh did they not have a mic
now or what.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
The manager grabbed a microd need the word.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
He's taking charge the team man. Actually, this is a
cool story because is it already forced yea, now going
into turkey jars that you were the team manager, but
you were originally supposed to be the receiver.

Speaker 6 (02:06):
Right, Yeah, yesterday I was practicing. Brady was throwing an
absolute bomb to me with that heavy turkey, and I
got the first one I caught, fine, didn't hurt at all.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
But the second one I got under it and it.

Speaker 6 (02:19):
Like popped up when I fell back with it, and
it hit my like chin and my and I felt
like I broke my jaw and it like my ear
started hurting and everything, and I'm like, I called Drew
Beck up that night.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
I'm like, oh, you might have to step up.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
Wow, my jaw is not. They have to bring you
under the concussive tent.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
Yeah, they did.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
They were escorting them now into the uh tent. So, uh, Brady,
what were you thinking when the bird left your hands?

Speaker 3 (02:48):
I was so confident I wanted not to turn around
and just let it sail, but you know, I was
confident I need to see my guy catch it, so
you know, I turned around and I was like, oh,
it's over. I saw him back pedal and I was like, oh,
it's all right, it's our year now.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
You guys are both d one right, Yes, sir, So Brady,
where are you headed to? I'm going to play a
line at the University of Wisconsin. I'm sorry, Wisconsin. That's
one of the biggest football programs in the country. Yes, sir,
And you think you're ready for that? Yeah, well yeah,
the day you arrive, you need to go into the

(03:20):
coach and let them know you're the Turkey Toss twenty
twenty five winners. Oh, they already know the video text
of them already.

Speaker 5 (03:27):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
So you're gonna be a cheesehead of course. Headed to
Wisconsin and Drew, You're going to Bryant University of Rhode Island, Yes, sir, Yes,
i am. That's a beautiful school. My son Chris went there. Yeah, awesome. Yeah,
it's I've heard great things about it.

Speaker 5 (03:42):
I'm sure you're sounding a good experience there, So I'm
excited to get down there and have my own experience.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
So they've got a big football program as well.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
They do.

Speaker 5 (03:49):
They're putting a lot of money into it. I'm really
excited about the future they have going there and in
the next four years that I'm going to have there.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
So yeah, so you've already toured the campus and been
down there.

Speaker 5 (03:59):
Yeah, I've been down there there a lot of times.
I've been to plenty of games. I went down there
in April to a spring practice. I did a camp
with them over the summer, so I've good relationships with
the coaches. I met some of the players. But yeah,
I'm just I'm just really excited to get down there myself.

Speaker 7 (04:13):
I have a question for the two of you.

Speaker 4 (04:14):
How important was it that literally your entire school showed
up for this thing today.

Speaker 5 (04:19):
It's it's unreal, you know, the student support, It gets
your heart racing, It gets you really prepared, and you
think about how much you want to win it for them.
It feels great, you know, catching it and standing up
and turning around and seeing just a crowd of people
just jumping up and down, you know, getting really hype
for us.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
How about you, Brady?

Speaker 3 (04:38):
Yeah, so our coaches, you know, our coaches were for
players for ont In High School, and they they tell
us the stories about how they were so close to
win it their year. I think I think one of
our coaches dropped it, but he said it was good.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
Distance just dropped it. Wait a minute, your coaches were
in yes, sir, they were prepared.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
En oeneration.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
It is so you know, for them to have that
much confidence in us, you know, pretty much our whole
team showed out for us today.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
You know, it means a lot to.

Speaker 3 (05:08):
Us, you know, to see our brothers out there, so
you know, we're confident and we knew we were going
to win this for them, and we're really excited for
next year to see who steps up for them.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
And you know we're gonna We're gonna keep in touch
with them and train them if we need to. But
we're ready. Well, you your highlight reel is going to
be all over kissing, all over, iHeart and and as
well as highlights on WBZ TV four so your family
can see what went down here this morning.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
Your families.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
I'm excited. My mom watched live and shout out. You're
going to Jingle Bowl yep, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
Let's go. They were just at Maroon five. Yeah, we
first concert.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
You guys went to Maroon five.

Speaker 7 (05:42):
We were in the pit.

Speaker 5 (05:43):
It was my first concert ever. I've been a Maroon
five fan since I was four years old. I've been
listening to their music, so it was probably the best
best band I.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Could have gone and seen.

Speaker 5 (05:52):
You know, my first concert, I had a great time,
saying almost the entire set list.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
So what took you so long to get to your
first concert?

Speaker 5 (05:59):
I don't Oh, I've just never really been intrigued by concerts.
I'm not really a people's person, so big crowds. Being
a part of the crowd isn't really for me.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
So you're a football guy, yeah, I'm usually one on
the field, so yeah, yeah, I'm really excited about jingle Ball.
Jingle Ball is going to be insane, edge sheer, and
it's headlining. I mean, Olivia Dean is in the lineup.
What do you think about that?

Speaker 2 (06:24):
Ri, Yeah, I'm excited. I love that here and I've
listened to him since I was a kid.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
Now, are you still having fainting spells? To you case?
You will give us a call if you if they
have to drive you to the emergency room today.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
Yeah, you can't hear right now?

Speaker 1 (06:53):

lake one Turkey toss.

Speaker 2 (07:29):
Woo, it's so true, Spy Ponders. I loved it.

Speaker 4 (07:34):
I love Everett, I mean, we love them because they
come to play. But this was like high drama. Oh
yeah today I loved every single second.

Speaker 2 (07:41):
And a new record for the length of the toss.
I've never seen anything like it. It was and I've
never seen a bigger crowd.

Speaker 7 (07:48):
They came to win, they had confidence.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
Yep. Kiss want to wait Instagram, Kiss wanta wait dot com.
You can see all the recap, all the coverage. This
might have been the best one of all time. Little
Turkey Toss.

it is headed for Wisconsin, that's a d one program.
The tree saads he has size fourteen feet.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
They were huge.

Speaker 7 (08:07):
Yeah, Billy can't stop talking about it.

Speaker 2 (08:09):
Well, he's got a weird thing with the kids.

Speaker 8 (08:11):
Good morning, guys, especially Billy.

Speaker 9 (08:13):
Listen.

Speaker 8 (08:13):
I don't know if anyone else is hearing how saucy
Billy's being this morning, but he's talking about beautiful heads
of hair on these Turkey tothers. He's talking about two
of them look like oak trees, and he wants to
get on their diet. Listen, Billy, I think you're slowly
coming over to my side. The water is nice and warm.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
No one never knows.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
I guess fourteen you could walk on water.

Speaker 2 (08:36):
Yeah, there's like two boats.

Speaker 7 (08:38):
Right, it really is. It's like walking on like slugs.

Speaker 1 (08:42):
It was. I thought it was one of the biggest,
if not the biggest crowd would ever had.

Speaker 4 (08:47):
Definitely the biggest crowd. I'm telling you. We had two
marching bands. Arlington brought their entire school with them, and
so did Medford.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
Yeah, and you know Revere didn't show up. But then
they did show up. Yeah, they were off the list.
They were in traffic and they came and throw it
that far. But you gotta go with it.

Speaker 1 (09:03):
Everything can happen at Turkey Toss and a shout out
to the Medford High School band, a giant band and
all of the cheerleaders. They brought a massive crowd. It
was cool to have a battle of the bands. Yeah, yeah,
he ever good. Medford had a great throw.

Speaker 7 (09:17):
They did.

Speaker 2 (09:17):
They had a great throw and a great catch. Salem
had a great Yeah.

Speaker 7 (09:20):
Salem Witches came to they were great.

Speaker 1 (09:22):

and stuff and the wrap up.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
In nine forty meantime, the long awaited, much anticipated new
season of Stranger Things. The first four episodes dropped tonight
at eight o'clock. And Lisa, you've got a list of
things to remember.

Speaker 4 (09:43):
Okay, So here's like if you forgot because it's been
so long. There's a giant riff that opened up in Hawkins.
That's something to remember. Max Sadie Sink is in a coma.
She's still in a comma. She briefly died, but eleven
brought her back to life. That's a big storyline. Vecna
is alive and ready for his vengeance. Members of the party.
Are all still alive. That's Mike will Buyers, Lucas and

(10:04):
Dustin and number one.

Speaker 7 (10:06):
Mike and eleven are still together.

Speaker 2 (10:08):
Boy and Justin. You're having a viewing party. Yeah, eight o'clock.
We're super pumped. You know, Stranger Things is special for
my son and I because it's the first show we
ever watched together. Yeah, so we'll be watching.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
Okay, the cast of Stranger Things on Foulin last night
kind of doing the whole season tour, or rather a
Stranger Things and they did it in a rap. Check
it out. Robin Sirpert investing Hawk and Mike eleven. We've
been crushing.

Speaker 7 (10:33):
There's no time.

Speaker 1 (10:33):
They found the Russians.

Speaker 10 (10:34):
Cream fight, Susy Poo, Billy's killing get the crew beat
the flavor for glory, never ending story.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
Sustin stot Look where the time.

Speaker 4 (10:42):

It's right behind us.

Speaker 1 (10:46):
Like this Gones is coming. How to kill hurry run
up that hill homes in Russia at home Okay, but
Hell is here to stave the day.

Speaker 4 (10:54):
Anytime I hear that that, like you know, the music
from the theme music, it gives me like chills.

Speaker 2 (11:03):
Yeah, so good.

Speaker 4 (11:04):
And Susie Q is that little was the girl the right?
Isn't she the like the really smart that was the girlfriend?

Speaker 2 (11:12):
Yes?

Speaker 11 (11:13):
Right?

Speaker 7 (11:13):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (11:14):
Bill. They spend millions of dollars on each episode. Oh,
I'm sure how much money invested in this show.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
So the cinematography is like outstanding, not yeah.

Speaker 7 (11:23):
It's I think it's the best show ever.

Speaker 2 (11:25):
I wonder if they're going to have because remember last
season they had the running up, Running Up the Hill character,
you know, the old songs come back. I wonder if
they're going to have a song this season. I hope
so an eighty.

Speaker 1 (11:36):
Yeah, didn't we have a skateboard guy that was going
to the song? And then that song became number one again.

Speaker 2 (11:41):
Running up that Hill bush?

Speaker 1 (11:43):
Wow? Win a crowned on Dancing with the Stars last night.
The mirror ball went to Robert Erwin. Robert now producer
is a huge fan of Dancing with the Stars. Right,

(12:04):
And you didn't even watch the finale last night? Well
it started at eight.

Speaker 12 (12:08):
It was a three hour premiere, and I was worried
about being rested for Turkey Toss, so I just went
to bed at my normal time and I was like, well,
I'll find out eventually. So I'm just gonna watch this tonight.

Speaker 1 (12:20):
Would you have chosen Irwin as the winner?

Speaker 7 (12:22):
I think that him and Alex were the front runners.

Speaker 12 (12:25):
It was between the two of them, and I knew
it was going to come down to viewer votes.

Speaker 7 (12:29):
I think that they.

Speaker 12 (12:30):
Were both equally like. They progressed in a very similar way.
They were definitely the best dancers on the show, so
I'm not surprised.

Speaker 1 (12:38):
So the Alligator Guy's son and daughter are now champions
of Dancing with the Show.

Speaker 7 (12:44):
First time ever. Wow, bling duos.

Speaker 1 (12:47):
Yep okay, and more TV news this morning. A Star
Search reboot. I remember the show Star Search I two
and it's coming to Netflix. It launches January thirteenth. Keep
in mind the original show that ran between nineteen eighty
three and nineteen eighty five launched the careers of Justin Timberlake,
Britney Spears, Adam Sandler, and Dave Chapelle. A ten year

(13:12):
old Britney Spears was on that show from kent Wood, Louisiana.
Star Search welcomes ten year old Britney Spears. And by
the way, Justin Timberlake when he was on a Star Search,
he was like a nine or ten year old little cowboy.
And he went to a different cowboy suit on and
a cowboy hat.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
Yeah. And yeah he had a different name too. Yeah,
he hit a cowboy hat with a little belt buckle.

Speaker 13 (13:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
He went by the name Justin Randall, which I don't
know if that might be is that his real name? Wow?

Speaker 1 (13:43):
And he played the guitar. It was a little country star.
That's the hilarious.

Speaker 2 (13:48):
Yeah, that's his middle name, Justin Randall.

Speaker 1 (13:51):
Another reboot on the way, the show Scrubs is coming
back with Zach Braff also coming back.

Speaker 2 (13:56):
We have a clip I'm back, baby. Do you know
there's people you maybe try a different approach.

Speaker 7 (14:03):
Maybe a little bit more like doctor Cox.

Speaker 1 (14:05):
Listen up, newbies. Uh really, superstar there, Scooter.

Speaker 2 (14:10):
Leave Bambi alone.

Speaker 1 (14:12):
It's good to be back.

Speaker 2 (14:13):
Did we need this?

Speaker 7 (14:15):
Well, if you were Scrubs fan, you needed it.

Speaker 1 (14:19):
What's Zach Braff done?

Speaker 9 (14:21):
You know?

Speaker 7 (14:21):
He he indeed in Florence Peugh, like from.

Speaker 2 (14:25):
That weird movie. Yeah, like with Harry Styles.

Speaker 7 (14:29):
Yeah, like they were a couple for a while.

Speaker 2 (14:31):
That's Rubs. I watched it really. Yeah, that's a good show.

Speaker 1 (14:34):
Okay. The Diddy documentary comes out December second. It's produced
by fifty cent. We've got a teaser.

Speaker 2 (14:42):
You can't continue to keep hurting people.

Speaker 14 (14:46):
And nothing never happens, just a matter of time.

Speaker 2 (14:54):
You never won fifty coming at you. He is relentless.
You don't even know he is relentless. He's and beefing
with Diddy for I don't know how long. He promised
the documentary and he delivered.

Speaker 1 (15:04):
Yeah, he's been on the ditty case since the arrest.

Speaker 2 (15:07):
Yeah, what happens with Ryan? But he's all over this bitter.

Speaker 1 (15:12):
Ed Sharon's coming in for jingle Ball. He is our
headliner jingle Ball twenty twenty five. Meantime, country singer Megan
Maroney says we may see a collaboration between she and
Ed Sharon.

Speaker 10 (15:21):
Ed Sheeron actually reached out to my team back in
I think it was March, and he wanted me to
play the Bluebird Cafe with him in Nashville, and I
thought it was like a joke.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
I was actually supposed.

Speaker 10 (15:33):
To go on a vacation that weekend, and I ended
up canceling the vacation because I'm like, when Ed Sheeron
calls and wants you to play a show with him,
you drop everything. He was talking to me about how
his kids and his wife are big fans and we've
been trying to figure out the right thing to do together.
I think when the time is right and the song
is right, it'll happen something else.

Speaker 1 (15:53):
So we got to talk to Ed Sheeron about backstage.
I'm going to need a forty five minute interview with him.
I know there's no wrapping me with Ed shear' in
bax Change.

Speaker 2 (16:01):
That's cool. He'll give you all the time. Ye Chain
Smokers are back.

Speaker 1 (16:05):
They just did a remix of Taylor swoots the Fate
of Ophelia and we have a clip.

Speaker 7 (16:15):
Oh yeah, we definitely needed this.

Speaker 1 (16:17):
We need I might go to the Grand tonight just
to dance to that.

Speaker 2 (16:21):
They've done our jingle balls.

Speaker 1 (16:22):

We're back with Billy and Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 2 (17:35):
Yeah, we're back.

Speaker 1 (17:36):
And what I like to call this next segment is
a Thanksgiving miracle.

Speaker 2 (17:40):
Yeah, it really is, right, Lisa, It's kind of.

Speaker 1 (17:43):
A Thanksgiving miracle. It puts everybody in the mood for
the holiday season.

Speaker 7 (17:46):
What we do here?

Speaker 1 (17:48):
Yeah, we got Ashley from down the hall at Jam
and Blaze in hip Hop.

Speaker 2 (17:53):
Morning Ashley, Good morning, William. Are you ready to eat
some grow?

Speaker 11 (17:59):
Listen? I I will at my Thanksgiving table tomorrow when
they ask me what are you thankful for?

Speaker 2 (18:05):
I will say.

Speaker 11 (18:06):
Billy and Lisa, because I've never seen power like this.
I I I really thought you guys were maybe losing
a little bit of your touch.

Speaker 1 (18:13):
Why would you think that, well, because I was.

Speaker 11 (18:15):
I wasn't sure. I you know, I came on yesterday
and I had asked it to test it.

Speaker 2 (18:19):
Let's back off the Billy. Let's explain to this I was.
I got it. I will explain, and that is I
came a couple of weeks ago.

Speaker 11 (18:28):
For weeks, I've been seeing Billy in the hallways and
I've been saying, you're just not.

Speaker 2 (18:32):
Who you used to be. You're the restaurant guy, right. Well, Hey,
I need this favor.

Speaker 1 (18:37):
I need you to hit somebody up at.

Speaker 11 (18:39):
The Venetian in Weymouth. And I need to add I
got the resie. I need to add two people. I've
been saying it for weeks to no avail. I'm getting
nothing A lot of nothing this So I thought to myself,
maybe the people were right about you. Maybe you are
losing your touch.

Speaker 1 (18:52):
Well, you have to understand, this is a big program.
So we have what you want to schedule, so when
you bring something to us, we can't.

Speaker 2 (18:59):
There was finally an opening.

Speaker 1 (19:00):
There's a lot going on, but we've got we had
an opening, right.

Speaker 11 (19:02):
Yeah, you gave me, You gave me the opening.

Speaker 1 (19:04):
You called me.

Speaker 11 (19:05):
I was hungover yesterday driving back from from Stevie Nicks
and we had a little convo about it. And I
would like to tell everybody from Kiss Went Away that
we weren't even finished with the conversation and the Venetian
was calling me. They were dming me, they were apologizing
for the leaving me on red and I would like to.

Speaker 7 (19:24):
Full on admit that Billy and Lisa still got it.

Speaker 1 (19:27):
So the Venetian in Weymouth is a famous restaurant, especially
around the holidays, because they decorate for Christmas in the
holidays like nobody else.

Speaker 2 (19:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 11 (19:35):
I don't know what they're given out there for Christmas.
I mean the decorations are nice. Maybe they're I don't know.
I don't know what's going on, but it is impossible
to get a reservation impossible.

Speaker 1 (19:44):
So you got a reservation for two, and when you
came to me and Lisa, you needed to up it
to four. You had tried multiple times, nobody was getting
back to you.

Speaker 2 (19:52):
I guess they don't trus Jim.

Speaker 1 (19:54):
Well, there's that, but they're also very busy at the
Venetian this time of the year. So Lisa and I
went on and made a very brief mention, and within
about two minutes, Lisa, you were getting DM.

Speaker 7 (20:07):
My phone was blowing up.

Speaker 4 (20:09):
The owner people that work there all saying that they
will help Ashley.

Speaker 7 (20:13):
Yeah, that is so sweet.

Speaker 11 (20:14):
They clearly did not listen to hip hop music, but
I'm very grateful that they listened to kiss because now
I've never seen anything. I literally didn't even finish the
conversation with you, and the DM had already come through
and they titled it get Ashley the Reservation for four.

Speaker 2 (20:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (20:31):
I think we actually have the restaurant on the phone,
and that would be Eric. Eric. Good morning, good morning,
good morning everybody. So Erica, you the general manager, the
manager out in the Venetian.

Speaker 13 (20:43):
I am the owner.

Speaker 2 (20:45):
Oh yes, Bill Billy for the long Head is going
to be so big after this, it's already okay. So Eric,
I want to be clear.

Speaker 1 (20:53):
Mine and Lisa's very quick mentioned on the Billy and
Lisa Morning Show, got right to the owner. You direct correct.

Speaker 11 (21:04):
Well, Eric has no taste in music, but a great
restaurant and we appreciate it right right right listen, I am.
I it was all about me just trying to tell
Billy that he didn't have the pool that he used
to and billian le so they definitely still got it.

Speaker 1 (21:20):
But you still choose me of not having pool because we.

Speaker 2 (21:24):
Know it's done.

Speaker 1 (21:25):
I know you need to lose the attitude. You got
the extra two seats, I know.

Speaker 2 (21:29):
I am, and I'm very appreciative. I can't wait.

Speaker 1 (21:32):
Eric, I got to ask you, when did the decoration
thing at the Venetian? When did that start?

Speaker 2 (21:36):
For you?

Speaker 1 (21:36):
Guys?

Speaker 13 (21:38):
We started it three years ago actually, wow?

Speaker 1 (21:41):
And I mean you go all out and when is
it up and when does it come down?

Speaker 2 (21:47):
Yeah?

Speaker 13 (21:47):
So the last two years we've been starting the installation
on November first and finishing it on January thirty first.

Speaker 1 (21:55):
Wow.

Speaker 13 (21:56):
We've always had people that have said, hey, do a
year round, but for us it's not as special.

Speaker 2 (22:02):
But the demand the last.

Speaker 13 (22:04):
Year was so incredible that we thought for this year,
for this summer season, that we're here summer season. I'm
sorry for this Christmas season that we actually did at
October first, and we went live with the reservations on
August first, and so there were a lot of people
that were just you know, they put their timers on,
they put their notifications on, and within ten minutes on

(22:26):
August first, I believe we had about ten thousand reservations
already made. And we'll do about fifty thousand people literally
in the holiday season.

Speaker 2 (22:34):
So it is.

Speaker 1 (22:35):
It is crazy, crazy fifty thousand people. And Ashley, you
were worried about yourself.

Speaker 2 (22:40):
Count count me in is one for sure.

Speaker 7 (22:43):
Listen the amount of espresso Martinez I'm going to drink
at your restaurant.

Speaker 1 (22:46):
It'll be all worth it in the end, he Eric.
I would just double the price just for her tab. Yeah,
like if the drink is twenty dollars, maybe forty. Because
she feels so guilty right now, we have to cut
her off. Lisa, you've been there, haven't you.

Speaker 4 (23:00):
I've never actually I've driven past there, but I've never
been able to get a reservation. But now that we
know Eric, you're in Maybe next year I'll be there.

Speaker 1 (23:08):
Well, Eric, since we got you, can we get a
table before now, Eric, it's about this time you should
inform actually that her table is outside.

Speaker 11 (23:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (23:24):
I figured I figured they've got those.

Speaker 7 (23:29):
I love that the snow globe.

Speaker 11 (23:31):
Eric.

Speaker 1 (23:32):
Yeah, thank you.

Speaker 13 (23:33):
Things I want to mention.

Speaker 2 (23:34):
Yeah, Billy, you still have clout, You still have clout.

Speaker 1 (23:37):
Thank you for sure.

Speaker 11 (23:38):
You know.

Speaker 1 (23:39):
So of course we all listened.

Speaker 13 (23:40):
I was literally at the gym yesterday morning and everybody
from my team was calling me. Yes, we do listen
to you guys, certainly. And we do have walkings available.
That is sort of like kind of my full disclosure.
Oh so people, Yeah, so people that can't get a reservation,
we do encourage them to come by at the bar

(24:01):
is walking only. And speaking of outside, we actually just
uh we did a Christmas outdoor installation. We have an
ice cream truck that we convert now for the Christmas
season with loaded hot chocolate, chocolate, chocolate, hot apple cider,
donut bites, Christmas canoli.

Speaker 1 (24:19):
So again, my god, this is you have a trailer
outside the restaurant.

Speaker 13 (24:24):
We do.

Speaker 1 (24:25):
Wow. Ohait if that doesn't say Happy Thanksgiving? Yeah, Yeah,
well there it is. There's your ice cream truck gets
pulling in for the weekend.

Speaker 12 (24:37):
Eric.

Speaker 1 (24:37):
I will be in touch with you because I want
you to be a guest on Food for Thought on
WBS news Radio. But thank you so much for helping
us out and helping Ashley out. Ashley, you want to apologize, Eric.

Speaker 11 (24:46):
Got my cannot wait to come to the restaurant, and
I might lie and tell everyone that Billy is part
of the forge, just so maybe I'll get some special
treatment because I've learned my lesson. Oh my god, I think, yeah,
I think the tabpage.

Speaker 1 (25:03):
Outside Eric, next to the ice cream truck.

Speaker 14 (25:07):
Thanks Eric, It's almost insulting. How do you think that
Bill Costa has no pull? How he wouldn't be able
to get you into that reservation? Do you know who
he is? He is the Bill Costa? Don't you ever
forget it?

Speaker 4 (25:21):
Okay, Billy and Lisa every morning, just want to wait
talk back.

Speaker 2 (25:25):
Leftovers? You must have tons justin Well, let's start with this.
So yesterday we received at the office a gingerbread basket
from ginger Betty's. Yeah, this thing was beautiful, is beautiful,
and we got it. We weren't really sure who sent it.
We thought maybe it was Ginger Betty's and I feel
so bad because, you know, do an after show podcast
and I was talking about it on that. I was like, oh,

(25:46):
shout out to Ginger Betty. Yes, you know. It turns
out it was from one of our listeners and her
name is Shannon.

Speaker 15 (25:51):
Oh, Justin and Shannon. So I'm so glad to hear
the Ginger Betty's basket arrived. And I don't know if
the card was with it, but everything's giving. I give
out a few extra gestures of gratefulness. So I wanted
to send some sweets to you, Billy, Lisa and producer Riley,
just to thank you once again for all the phenomenal

(26:11):
energy you give every morning. So I hope you enjoy
the sweets, and I hope you have a blessed Thanksgiving
with your family.

Speaker 1 (26:19):
I gotta tell you it came with a beautiful note
and it was signed Shannon. But I assume Shannon was
from Ginger Betties. And by the way, we've always loved
Ginger Betty.

Speaker 7 (26:28):
They're amazing.

Speaker 15 (26:30):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (26:31):
I had about five. Yeah, gingerbread cookies so.

Speaker 1 (26:34):
Good, and you might want to think about Ginger Betties too.
When you approach Christmas because they do a great job
with Christmas.

Speaker 7 (26:39):
They have great gingerbread houses too.

Speaker 2 (26:40):
Yeah. Oh that's a good tip, Lisa. Yeah, that's a
good one. Yeah, thank you, Shannon. We appreciate you listening
and you didn't have to do that, but thank you.

Speaker 3 (26:47):
Happy Thanksgiving to the kids team and everyone listening.

Speaker 7 (26:51):
I honestly doubt you'll play this, but never doubt.

Speaker 2 (26:54):
That I'm going to play something. See here's the thing.
You can say whatever you want. It's not my voice
that said, is it when I get in trouble for
playing it? Maybe, but still I'll play it. This isn't
that bad. But I'm just saying this little.

Speaker 6 (27:05):
Song that gets stuck in my head around the sun year.

Speaker 11 (27:08):
It's only a song.

Speaker 2 (27:08):
It's just like a really popular video, but I just
have to say. It means greens, beans, tomatoes, potatoes, h
you name it. It's like a video from this lady.

Speaker 1 (27:18):
She's like singing that on a stage or something.

Speaker 2 (27:20):
But I just, yeahything's giving everyone. Yeah we know that song,
so we do giving tradition. Well I do. I sing
it every year.

Speaker 9 (27:27):
I got things, creams, potatoes, tomadus, lamp chans, crings, potatoes,
Tomadus chicken creamy.

Speaker 10 (27:36):
It's a jam.

Speaker 2 (27:39):
That's a Thanksgiving tradition favorite. It's the best.

Speaker 1 (27:42):
Yeah, I like that.

Speaker 2 (27:43):
What doesn't say Thanksgiving the mash, I got things.

Speaker 9 (27:46):
Creams, potatoes, Tomadus lamps, creak potatoes, Tomadus.

Speaker 11 (27:51):
Chicken kids one Away Into the Morning, wrap up on
Billy and Lisa in the Morning.

Speaker 2 (28:00):
In another turkey toss in the books. What a morning.
It was first and foremost. If you missed any of it,
you can watch watch all the recap, all the videos
on the Kiss social media is that's Instagram, Facebook, TikTok.
You can also go to kiss went away dot com.
Actually on the Instagram. On Kiss there's a great video
of every single toss. So congratulations to Arlington. They took it.

(28:21):
They upset Everett. Incredible. They had a toss that was
basically from Medford to East Boston. Oh yeah, never seen it.
It was crazy. I have the moment they had the
toss and I remember it's complete pandemonium here. I mean
the place went bonkers. Yeah, he caught the turkey. It

(28:46):
was the longest I've ever seen. But there was controversy. Yes,
it was because he may or may not have been
in the line that the tosser, so we had to
check the tape on that. But right after them, Everett
went they last like they always do and completely flubbed. Yeah,
completely flubbed.

Speaker 1 (29:00):
The bird hit the.

Speaker 7 (29:01):
Dirt, but they it was like an incomplete pass.

Speaker 2 (29:03):
It was. It was one of the worst throws of
the morning. He missed his target. Yeah, so we had
to review the tape before we announced the winner, and
that winner, ear yes was Arlington.

Speaker 1 (29:11):
They have checked the tape and although his heels were
on the line, they were not over the line, which
means we have a need tough chick.

Speaker 11 (29:29):
High.

Speaker 2 (29:31):
Yeah, complete chaos there. I mean Everett was stunned. I
mean they were speechless there and Arlington just went nuts.

Speaker 11 (29:38):
Oh.

Speaker 1 (29:38):
We love Everett and they have won several years and
they really work it hard. But you know, things happen
when the frozen birds flying for the air.

Speaker 2 (29:45):
You never know what's going to happen. Thank you to
all the teams that came out and competed, and you
know what, ever, it is always next year.

Speaker 4 (29:51):
Yeah right, And I love Evert because they raised the
bar on the competition.

Speaker 11 (29:54):
Lock.

Speaker 2 (29:54):
Yeah right, they certainly did.

Speaker 1 (29:55):
They had everybody else rehearse in practicing it now.

Speaker 2 (29:58):
The thrower for evertt, I believe his name was Gaetano.
Is he walking around with his head down in shame
this morning at school? The poor kid. It's a tough
break at things.

Speaker 1 (30:07):
It's tough.

Speaker 2 (30:08):
It's tough, but there's always next year. But how about
this part of the story with Arlington. So they originally
had Brady and Orri where the tosser and the catcher.
Ori got injured during tryouts when they were practicing the
other day, almost broke his jaw.

Speaker 6 (30:24):
Yesterday, I was practicing, Brady was throwing an absolute bomb
to me with that heavy turkey, and I got the first.

Speaker 2 (30:31):
One I caught, fine, didn't hurt at all.

Speaker 6 (30:33):
But the second one I got under it and it
like popped up when I fell back with it, and
it hit my chin and I felt like I broke
my jaw and it like my ear started hurting and everything,
and I'm like, I called Drew.

Speaker 2 (30:45):
Beck up that night. I'm like, oh, you might have
to step up.

Speaker 13 (30:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (30:49):
He called in Drew, and Drew made the miraculous catch
he did to win Turkey Talks twenty twenty five. They
scored jingle ball tickets exciting stuff.

Speaker 7 (30:57):
I think it's weird that his name is Drew and
then Brady.

Speaker 4 (31:00):
It's like Drew Bloodstoe and Tom Brady.

Speaker 13 (31:03):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (31:04):
I did notice that, So congratulations to them. And again
you can watch all the video, all the recap, and
all the socials. Kiss went away, Kiss one away dot Com.
Just a great morning thoughts guys. You know what happened
to or in the face. He took the Brudi in
the face. Oh man, what a way to go into Thanksgiving. Huh.
Eat mashed potatoes because Lisa likes making mashed potatoes, stuffing. Enjoy,

(31:29):
love you guys, Happy Thanksgiving.
