Speaker 1 (00:00):
Little behind the scenes. It's weird on the Billy and
Lisa Morning Show. How things just happen right, so organically. Yeah,
the Emmy nominations came out yesterday and the show Severance,
which I think I'm the only one in the group
that hasn't seen.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
Yeah, you refuse to watch.
Speaker 1 (00:17):
But Severance in fact did dominate the Emmy nomination yesterday
with twenty seven Yes, big and so all of a sudden,
Lisa turns to me and she says, oh, I know
for Halloween, we should be the cast of Severance.
Speaker 3 (00:31):
Well, we talked about this months ago, so now we're
in July and guys, we need to get our act together.
Speaker 2 (00:37):
We're going to do it. So justin you are Mark.
Speaker 4 (00:42):
This is great. I love this main cast, the lead, right.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
And Adam Scott, who's from around here, right, isn't he local?
Speaker 4 (00:48):
I'm not sure?
Speaker 2 (00:48):
I think that is he?
Speaker 4 (00:50):
The guy that was in Step Brothers. Yes, as the
brother nobody shows his acting skills. You see him in
Step Brothers. You won't believe how he is in sev Wow.
Speaker 2 (00:59):
Okay, okay, And I'm going to be Helly.
Speaker 4 (01:01):
You're going to be my Helly.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
I'm your Helly. I have to get a red wig.
Speaker 1 (01:05):
So Helly and Mark are together in the show.
Speaker 4 (01:09):
I won't give it away, but the end of season
two of the last season, I don't know what's going
to happen between them two. Somebody is running yep. So okay, so.
Speaker 3 (01:17):
Lise, okay, I'm here, Helly. Now Winnie is going to
be Dylan.
Speaker 4 (01:26):
No, Bill, have you seen Dylan?
Speaker 1 (01:28):
No?
Speaker 4 (01:28):
Okay, let's pull up a picture from the oh is
that the serial killer guy? No?
Speaker 5 (01:34):
No, that's no, no, no, no, no, okay, no, it
was a little strangely he looks like Winnie. This is
like so perfectly balding black man. How would he look like?
Speaker 2 (01:50):
Okay? Wait, so now our favorite part.
Speaker 3 (01:53):
Is Billy yep, who's like, doesn't.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
Want to do that?
Speaker 4 (01:56):
Okay, so who am I?
Speaker 2 (01:57):
You're irving?
Speaker 4 (01:58):
You're going to be irving John her right, But.
Speaker 2 (02:01):
We have a twist.
Speaker 3 (02:03):
So our guy in digital, our VP of Digital, Anthony,
who we love, who is always a winner, and all
of these Halloween.
Speaker 4 (02:10):
Contests he played Wednesday Adams.
Speaker 5 (02:13):
Did that's when I played fizz Fred.
Speaker 4 (02:15):
No, you played Uncle Fester.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
Okay, all right, so they won.
Speaker 3 (02:19):
So we're going to ask him to play Bert who's
the Christopher Walkin character and who's your gay love?
Speaker 4 (02:24):
He's the gay lover of Irving Anthony, because in the
digital is my gay lover. Irving has a gay lover,
Christopher Walkin, who plays Burt. So we need to have
a Burt BT. Okay, Christopher Walkin is very tall.
Speaker 1 (02:44):
No he's not in real life I think.
Speaker 5 (02:46):
So pretty well, but in the show your character is
taller than him, so we need someone he's taller than.
Speaker 4 (02:53):
Oh, okay, so I'm Irving with my gay lover Burt. Yes,
I love this.
Speaker 1 (03:00):
And then what's producer Ryley?
Speaker 2 (03:01):
I think we should make her little girl?
Speaker 4 (03:04):
Girl? It was a little girl?
Speaker 5 (03:05):
Yeahs, yes, it's perfect.
Speaker 1 (03:09):
All right.
Speaker 4 (03:10):
Halloween cannot come quick.
Speaker 1 (03:11):
Enough now clearly well documented on this show. For years,
this show has been boycotted or snubbed by the Halloween Parade.
Speaker 3 (03:21):
Yeah, we get snubbed again.
Speaker 5 (03:24):
Well, that's how we actually need Tony because everyone loves.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
He's a winner.
Speaker 3 (03:28):
He's going to push us to the finish every year.
Speaker 5 (03:33):
We're having in our back pocket. Now we might actually have.
Speaker 4 (03:35):
We actually asked Tony to be my gay lover.
Speaker 5 (03:38):
He'll do anything we tell him to do.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
Okay, he's an easy he pushes him around.
Speaker 4 (03:42):
I really do.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
I don't have to make out with him or anything.
Speaker 4 (03:46):
No, no, the hold hands, I mean it can be
a little bit of touching, the hold hands. Does he
hold my pocket?
Speaker 5 (03:52):
Like?
Speaker 4 (03:53):
No? No, No. You guys are gay lovers, so you're in
love with each other. We openly lovers. Yes.
Speaker 5 (03:58):
Well it's actually a secret because they can't know each
other in the.
Speaker 2 (04:01):
In the outside world.
Speaker 4 (04:03):
Yeah okay, yeah, but you know, for a theater of
the mind, there can be some hand holding I think.
Speaker 1 (04:07):
Okay, a hug like behind the scenes.
Speaker 3 (04:10):
Yeah, well, no, you understand we're starting the costume mate, Okay.
Speaker 4 (04:16):
Okay, I gotta stick this in. Okay.
Speaker 1 (04:18):
Now, does the show have a theme song? Yeah, very
much so yeah, okay, So someone's gonna have to walk
along with the boom box playing the.
Speaker 4 (04:28):
Theme it's twenty twenty five. Just I'm just saying that
as a joke. So somebody, yeah, somebody will carry the
cell phone. Actually, your gay lover, Anthony, he's going to play.
Bert has a speaker that he can bring. There we go.
Speaker 5 (04:42):
He actually actually does can wire the whole office, capable.
Speaker 1 (04:47):
Of wiring the building. As we hit the parade route. Yeah,
this could be your year. Every year you get snubbed.
Speaker 2 (04:55):
This is this is the year.
Speaker 1 (04:56):
And if we if we are snubbed, we'll know it's Lisa.
Speaker 4 (05:00):
Please please the mushh oh Man. All right, well this
thing's on. Oh yeah, all right, Well Kenny Anthony on
the line.
Speaker 2 (05:10):
Love Billy and Lisa Kiss.
Speaker 4 (05:12):
All right, welcome back everybody.
Speaker 1 (05:14):
We've got Tully Banta Caine back on the Billy and
Lisa Morning Show because at that time of year, Hampton
Beach will come alive this weekend with the Hampton Beach Classic.
Tully Bantacaine, Welcome back, buddy.
Speaker 4 (05:25):
Hey, great to be on Good morning.
Speaker 1 (05:27):
You have a total of two or three Super Bowl rings.
Speaker 4 (05:29):
A total of two Super Bowl.
Speaker 1 (05:32):
Rings and you won both with Tom Brady, right he
won them with me?
Speaker 4 (05:35):
Yes, okay, yeah, I was throwing that line out you.
Speaker 1 (05:40):
Knowing you'd come back with the follow up Game Sport.
Absolutely Team Sport. So this is a fun event and
off the AEIR we were talking a couple of seconds ago.
This is happening this weekend.
Speaker 6 (05:51):
Yes, July nineteenth and twentyth Saturday and Sunday this week
Hampton Beach, New Hampshire.
Speaker 1 (05:55):
And isn't our guy mikey V hosting the event?
Speaker 4 (05:58):
Mikey V will be in the building over on the beach.
He'll have the beach to be out toes out.
Speaker 1 (06:06):
Oh yeah, so how does it work? Walk us through
at the Hampton Beach Classic.
Speaker 4 (06:11):
What happens?
Speaker 7 (06:12):
So?
Speaker 6 (06:13):
Yeah, we start with a you know, in the morning,
we have some cool stuff for anyone who's not playing football.
We have a sand castle competition. We partner with Create
a Castle, who was on Shark Tank and they have
these really cool sand castle kids that they make that
you can make these really cool castles out of check
them out Create a Castle. And then we're having a
(06:33):
cornhole competition for those who don't play football, just want
to come out and play some cornhole and support of
the Appendix Cancer Foundation.
Speaker 4 (06:40):
So Justin claims he's a cornhole champion. I've never seen it.
I mean, I haven't got honored yet, but I'm pretty
good I've played with him.
Speaker 6 (06:48):
Well, hold on one gets you a chance to get
some tickets to the New England Patriots game.
Speaker 4 (06:52):
So I love the Patriots.
Speaker 1 (06:54):
Why don't you go bring the whole family down the
beach this week?
Speaker 4 (06:57):
You got to go? Yeah, where is it again, Soampton Beach.
Speaker 6 (07:00):
You go to Beach Football League dot com to sign
up for any one of those events. But the main
event is the football yeah, and that's coming in the afternoon.
Will have a one on one competition, so anyone that's
an athlete in the area can try out to win
some cash to be the best athlete of the day.
Speaker 1 (07:15):
So anybody can enter and compete.
Speaker 6 (07:17):
Then, yes, it's open to the public. You have to
register on Beach Football League dot com. But eighteening up
you can register for the Beach Football League.
Speaker 1 (07:25):
This is a pretty cool event. By the way, Hampton
Beach is a beautiful beach. I want to go on
record right now. Okay, it takes some heat, but it
is a beautiful beach. Hampton Beach they say.
Speaker 4 (07:35):
It's like one of the cleanest beaches in New England.
Speaker 1 (07:38):
There you go and that whole coastline, then you get
up there Rye, New Hampshire and all that.
Speaker 6 (07:42):
Oh it's beautiful, the whole area, the whole region.
Speaker 1 (07:45):
So so what are the actual events in the competition.
Speaker 6 (07:49):
We'll have one on one receiver versus dB Oklahoma drill
full tackle and then we.
Speaker 4 (07:54):
Have a full tackle who's doing the going you are.
Speaker 5 (08:03):
Oh, I would love to go one on one.
Speaker 4 (08:06):
With you, Belly. I would pay to see that. Let's
get that sponsor right now.
Speaker 6 (08:12):
But yeah, we'll have a so the receiver versus dB,
and then O line, pass rush, O line versus D
line and Oklahoma drill, and the best players from that
will be selected to play in an exhibition game that
day against Ready for this, the A SEVENFL. They're a
league right now, thirty six teams. All of them played
(08:33):
tackle football, no pads. Oh, they've been around for eleven seasons.
So their championship team is from Jersey. These guys are
coming out looking for smoke. So we're looking for the
best athletes in New England.
Speaker 1 (08:44):
Oh, hold on, you're saying that the prize is to
get to play against the guys who play tackle football
with no gear. That's right, that's right the prize. I
would think that would be the consolation.
Speaker 4 (08:58):
That's part.
Speaker 6 (08:58):
There's a prize if you can beat them, but the
actual opportunity to play against and represent New England against
Jersey of all places, that's the opportunity. So it's a
it's an evaluation for the players and athletes to come
out that day male or female, and you guys can
come out and watch, and you can play cornhole, and
you can build sand castles.
Speaker 4 (09:18):
And we also have a.
Speaker 6 (09:20):
Vi P beer garden this year sponsored by Smutty Nose
and Sun Cruiser. So yeah, it's gonna be a little
a little bit of something for everybody. Saturday and Sunday,
we got a bunch of New England Patriots coming out.
Mikey b is gonna be there, Lonnie Paxton is going
to be there. Jermaine Wiggins is going to be Patrick
Chung Uh, Jarvis Green, Patrick Pass, Pete Brock. So everyone
(09:41):
from every era of Patriots will be out there. And
we may even see an Oklahoma drill between Winnie and Billy.
Speaker 1 (09:50):
I'm not subjecting. I'd have broken everything. Now tell me
when you first came in here, you were just starting
this classic and look how far it's come. Because Hampton
Beach is not the only one, right.
Speaker 6 (10:09):
Yeah, we after the Hampton Beach event last year, we
just started growing from one location to the next to
the next to you know, now we have ten locations
approved from west coast to East California.
Speaker 4 (10:22):
Santa we just did Santa Monica and Hermosa.
Speaker 6 (10:24):
We're going to wild Wood, New Jersey next next month,
and the American Dream Mall as well, and Jacksonville, Florida,
and so forth and so on. So this is really
for any beach. But the birthplace was Hampton Beach last
year and now we're taking off.
Speaker 4 (10:39):
Well you were saying off the year with the dream Mall,
the American dream Mall that you're bringing in how much
sand to the parking lot? Fourteen tons the beach. Yeah,
isn't there saying you don't bring sand to the beach.
Not in this case. No, you bring a football. That's
(11:00):
a classic line out. Yeah, you're bringing sand to the
so you can bring the beach to the sand. Yeah.
I'm just saying so okay, So this is this coming.
Speaker 1 (11:13):
Weekend and between now and then, what do people have
to do if they want to be in it?
Speaker 6 (11:17):
Yeah, so Beachfootball League dot Com. I'll say it again,
Beach Football League dot com. You sign up, You can
register for the corn hole, the sand castle competitions, you
can sign up to play, or you can just come
and watch and sit in the VIP garden and sip
on a sun Cruiser or somebody knows. It's a free
event to the public. So if you don't want any
of those things, wow, watch but it's a day at
the beach. It's going to be a whole day, whole weekend.
Speaker 4 (11:39):
At the beach.
Speaker 2 (11:41):
Oh yeah, it sounds like so much fun.
Speaker 1 (11:42):
Yeah, you're going to be at the beach first and foremost,
and now you get all kinds of things to watch
and be entertained by and compete in.
Speaker 6 (11:49):
And the last thing I'll mentioned, and I should have
mentioned it first, is on Sunday, we are having our
Kid Zone from eleven to one that's sponsored by the
New England Patriots. Pat the Patriot'll be out there, oh
cool and the street and given out prizes. But that's
from eleven to one where the kids will have an
opportunity to work with the Patriot players.
Speaker 1 (12:05):
And two added events. Now you've got Justin in the
corn hole competition, and you've got the one on one
between you and Winnie. Oh no, no, no, no, we
need lisas out.
Speaker 4 (12:18):
He's gotta be Winnie and Billy. I think we would
all pay to see Winnie and Billy go one on
one in a football challenge. I think we all know
that Whennie would clean Billy's clock, I just throw a
juke man. I throw a juke rod byer. I'm just saying,
I'm just saying, what.
Speaker 8 (12:37):
A Boston is Benson Boone And you're waking up with
Billy and Lisa in the morning on Kiss one Away,
Boston's number one hit music stations.
Speaker 7 (12:44):
Hayley, Now the entertainment update with the Billy Cops.
Speaker 1 (12:47):
All right, Kaitlyn Clark and the Indiana Fever beat the
Connecticut Son in the Garden last night. It was a
wild night in the TD Gardener, totally sold out game.
Speaker 4 (12:57):
Celebrities were there.
Speaker 1 (12:58):
Jalen Brown had to pop up, set up and Deve
Portnoy was there. Bruins goalie Jeremy Swayman was there. And
do you remember yesterday we got a talk back from
Cara saying that she was going to be at the
Caitlin Clark game last night.
Speaker 4 (13:13):
Well she was, and she's on the phone.
Speaker 1 (13:15):
Hey Cara, Hi, Good morning guys, Good morning. How was
it last night? A wild TD Garden?
Speaker 9 (13:22):
Oh my gosh, it was amazing. It was such a blast.
I got there early at like three just to kind
of take in the whole block party scene. Yeah, and
I'm make sure I could get in early to see
Warmbucks and stuff. It was amazing.
Speaker 1 (13:35):
Yeah, the block party looked very cool. I didn't even
know they were going to be doing that. What did
they have at the block party?
Speaker 9 (13:41):
Just a whole bunch of kind of local vendors. The
son hosted it, a bunch of things for things for kids,
different food vendors and but it was good. It was
really just to kind of create a DJ dancing just
wow day.
Speaker 1 (13:56):
Yeah. Well apparently they're trying to bring a wnbat here
to Boston. That's Governor Maura Hareley's dream.
Speaker 4 (14:04):
But well that's awesome.
Speaker 1 (14:06):
Now I heard a story that Caitlin Clark may have
reinjured the groin. Did she do?
Speaker 4 (14:11):
You know that?
Speaker 10 (14:12):
We saw it.
Speaker 9 (14:13):
Yeah, it was awful. It was so sad just to
be a Kaitlyn Parks fan. And it was actually in
the last like thirty seconds of the game she had
had the game. The game itself was actually kind of
a weird game. It never really got into a great flow.
But yeah, last thirty seconds you could tell she just
tweaked something. Then she kind of walked to the end
and yeah, she she cried, which never happened, so you
(14:36):
knew something was going on.
Speaker 1 (14:38):
Carry is sounding like a baller. Do you play ball?
Speaker 7 (14:41):
I don't.
Speaker 9 (14:42):
It's so funny. I don't. I've just taken this up
as a hobby. But it was a lot of fun.
And yeah, I hope they I hope they do bring
a team to Boston, or at least bring the sun
closer so that we can get more action. It was.
It was amazing to be there.
Speaker 1 (14:58):
Well, Kara, thanks for being the listener, thanks for being
a talkbacker, and thanks for being a correspondent for us
at the Fever game last night.
Speaker 9 (15:05):
Anytime. Thank you guys.
Speaker 1 (15:07):
By the way, Caitlin had fourteen points on the night,
their first time ever in Boston, and unfortunately didn't have
much time here.
Speaker 11 (15:14):
I didn't really get to do a time. We came
here after our game burst Dallas and kind of had
that night, but then yesterday, and I would love to
come back here and explore a bit more. It's beautiful.
It seems like an amazing city. I think I checked early.
We checked earlier to see if the Red Sox were playing.
I don't think they're in town, so I've never Oh, well,
that's right, it's all started yep in Atlanta.
Speaker 8 (15:34):
Okay, sorry about that.
Speaker 11 (15:36):
I would have loved to go to a Red Sox
game and seen Fenway. I could I guess I could
have gone to Fenway and looked at it with no
people in it, but I didn't do that. But I mean,
I would love to come back here and explore a
little bit more in the history of it and you know,
all the amazing things that you can do. I honestly
was on TikTok like best things to do in Boston
just so I can like see even.
Speaker 4 (15:52):
Though I'm not going to do them.
Speaker 11 (15:53):
And I think that's what's fun about going to these
new places in these new cities, is like you get
to experience the culture and the people that are here.
That's also what makes it a.
Speaker 2 (16:01):
Lot of fun.
Speaker 1 (16:02):
Well, Caitlin, You're welcome back to Boston any time at all.
Big event in the TD Garden, an even bigger event
out at you Let Stadium, the Coldplay show, and Lisa,
you were there give us in.
Speaker 2 (16:11):
The middle of it.
Speaker 3 (16:12):
Highlights were when he did something like this, my universe
would bets and then a sky full of stars and
then he stops the whole showdown, stops singing, tells everyone
to get off their phones, put them down. Everyone did,
and then he restarted the song so we could all
sing it together. That's what they're like, so good. Out
(16:34):
are these big sing along anthems. He brought a ton
of fans on stage and sang to them. The Savannah
bananas were there, all in there yellow, so when he
sang yellow, the whole stadium was yellow because we had
light up wristbands, Wow, fireworks, three D glasses.
Speaker 2 (16:51):
It was incredible.
Speaker 1 (16:52):
Didn't you meet the top Banana?
Speaker 2 (16:54):
I did. We went.
Speaker 3 (16:55):
We were invited to the after party with Chris Martin,
and the Savannah Bananas were there and the owner was there.
Speaker 1 (17:02):
Funny story behind the day.
Speaker 2 (17:03):
And Kate Bosworth from Cohasset so random, so random I was.
Speaker 3 (17:07):
I was standing at the French fry like tater Tot
bar and I look over and I'm like, oh my god, hi,
you're Kate Bosworth.
Speaker 2 (17:15):
And she's like, yes I am.
Speaker 3 (17:17):
I'm like, why are you here? She's like, I'm in
Cohasset for the whole summer.
Speaker 4 (17:20):
That's where she's from, right, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (17:22):
Blue Crush, classic American film.
Speaker 4 (17:24):
I think I've seen it twice. I'm just she was
in a lot of good movies nineties, early two thousands.
Speaker 5 (17:31):
Take Time I always got her Kate Moss and Kate Beckett,
not Kate back and Sale, but her and Kate Moss.
Speaker 3 (17:40):
Her claimed the famous she has two different color eyes. Really,
she has a brown eye and a blue eye.
Speaker 1 (17:44):
I think did it jump right out it?
Speaker 2 (17:46):
No, it didn't.
Speaker 3 (17:47):
But she's beautiful. So yeah, I was really cool meeting her.
And she was chatting with Chris Martin at the party
and she's married to Justin Law she is.
Speaker 1 (17:54):
Yeah, And it's funny how it all developed, because yesterday
during the morning show, you had a one per sent
chance of seeing Chris Martin exactly.
Speaker 3 (18:03):
And then our boss Dylan at five o'clock calls me
and he's like, you're in. And then I texted all
of you that my one percent went to one hundred.
Speaker 1 (18:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (18:10):
I was jumping for joy.
Speaker 1 (18:12):
Yeah, he texted me, He texted Justin.
Speaker 2 (18:16):
We're doing this.
Speaker 4 (18:17):
So a great show.
Speaker 11 (18:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (18:18):
And by the way, the second show out at jo
Let's Stadium tonight.
Speaker 2 (18:21):
Yeah, I would go back again. It was so good.
Speaker 4 (18:22):
All right.
Speaker 1 (18:23):
Emmy nominations announced yesterday, the show Severance grabbing the most
overall with twenty seven The Penguin, which I love Colin Farrell.
I got twenty four nominations. The White Lotus and The
Studio each got twenty three. I didn't see the Studio.
Speaker 4 (18:39):
I didn't either. I want to watch it. It's supposed
to be incredible. But Severance was put on to me
by one of our listeners. Remember had surgery and I
was looking for recommendations for TV shows and movies and
one of our listeners recommended it to me, and I
was like, well, I never saw it. Let me try
it out. How are we doing now?
Speaker 12 (18:55):
Hey, guys, hey, justin this is Nancy, the one who
turned you on to Severance Awards came out.
Speaker 10 (19:01):
We showed them.
Speaker 2 (19:03):
Have a great day, guys.
Speaker 4 (19:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (19:04):
Yeah, twenty seven nominations.
Speaker 1 (19:06):
Yeah, the White Lotus got twenty three, but not a
single one for Patrick Swarzenegger, even though he had the
full frontal.
Speaker 4 (19:14):
Mister Happy was all over the he went all out.
Speaker 2 (19:18):
You put it all out there and it didn't do anything.
Speaker 5 (19:20):
I know, imagine doing that and then you get nothing.
Speaker 1 (19:23):
And he got a lot of attention for his role.
By the way, I thought he was great in The
White Lotus the most recent season.
Speaker 4 (19:29):
He really did a great job.
Speaker 2 (19:31):
Yeah he plays creepy well yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1 (19:34):
Did I hear the new season, the next season going
to be in Egypt? Is that true?
Speaker 2 (19:38):
Well, they're saying that they're going to take it off
the beach.
Speaker 1 (19:41):
Oh so okay, it could be in Egypt. The Last
of Us rounded up the top five. By the way,
not a single nomination for Squid Game, which was the
most stream show on Netflix. Kind of strange there snubbed,
and only one for The Handmade's Tale. And by the way,
the single nomination was not for Elizabeth but Kendrick Lamar
(20:02):
four nominations for his Super Bowl halftime shot.
Speaker 4 (20:06):
Michael, ain't you tie? You're trying to strike a chord
in his Tobby Gay Minor.
Speaker 1 (20:12):
And justin you were surfing around yesterday you landed on
our pal Gandhi's podcast.
Speaker 4 (20:18):
She had Adam Levine on, Yeah, how's she doing now?
Gandhi used to work here. She's on the Elvis Durant Show,
and she has a podcast called Sauce on the Side,
and she had Adam Levine on. It dropped this morning,
it's out now, and they talked about a bunch of things,
including his collaboration with Lisa from Blackpink.
Speaker 8 (20:32):
It was the first song I wrote for the record
and It's funny. I wanted to be in the first single,
but it was always kind of needed something. I feel
like that's kind of how we approached this record with
features and people coming on and collaborating, was like, we
want them to be real collaborations and not just like
here's a completed song and then now you're gonna come
in and whoever you are and be added to it.
(20:53):
It was more like this song needed Lisa.
Speaker 4 (20:56):
Yeah. Yeah, So Gandhi's doing pretty well for ourselves. Yeah,
we love Gandhi.
Speaker 1 (21:01):
Gandhi has THEA.
Speaker 4 (21:05):
We wonder why she left, right It wasn't Billy, No.
Speaker 1 (21:15):
I don't know what kind of doctoring you did to
that piece of audio.
Speaker 4 (21:20):
Doctor that what that was not doctored? Yeah, but you
can hear the podcast on the iHeart That's awesome.
Speaker 2 (21:26):
I'm so yeah.
Speaker 4 (21:27):
I've been talking to her all morning, justin you actually
had a sit down with Brent from Shindown. They're coming
to town this week right Saturday night at the Garden
with Bush. It's gonna be a great show. I'm going
to be there with my son Abel, he's eight. It's
gonna be his first concert, a rock concert, so I'll
be sure to bring the headphones. But anyway, they're kicking
off the tour, this leg of the tour in Boston,
and believe it or not, as big as Shine doown
(21:48):
Is has never done the Garden, but they love Boston.
Speaker 1 (21:51):
Boston.
Speaker 13 (21:51):
When I go back to the beginning of the band,
and this is like roughly two thousand and three, Boston
was the one city where it was very apparent where
everybody here was like, listen, we're gonna give you a shot,
but you're gonna have You're gonna have to prove it.
And every single time we would come in and we
would just keep grinding and grinding and grinding. But the
(22:11):
thing is is about Bostonians like once they're with you,
they're with you for life.
Speaker 4 (22:15):
So the fact that we're.
Speaker 13 (22:16):
Actually starting the second leg of this tour in Boston
at the Garden. By the way, it's the first time
we've ever played the Garden. We've never even been on
a tour where we were an opening actor. What have
you so to play the Garden in Boston for the
very first time as a headliner, this is a huge
you know, it's a big deal.
Speaker 4 (22:32):
Yeah, Brenton's so cool with the lead singers shine down
really cool. We'll have much more on this interview coming
up on the Kiss Top thirty Countdown this weekend ahead
of the show this Saturday night. And they have a
new song, by the way, called three sixty five, which
is great as well.
Speaker 1 (22:43):
There you go, Miiley Cyrus on GMA yesterday she's still
vowing not to tour again ever, and we go to I.
Speaker 14 (22:50):
Do have the physical ability, and I have the opportunities
to tour. I wish I had the desire, but I don't.
I also don't think that there is actually an infrastructure
supports artim And it's really hard to maintain sobriety when
you're on the road, which is a really important kind
of pillar of stability in my life.
Speaker 1 (23:08):
And by the way, the first trailer from the much
anticipated eminem documentary is out. We have a clip.
Speaker 2 (23:16):
Why did you write the song stance is damn? Based
on a real fan?
Speaker 4 (23:21):
Why do you she hear so much about yourself and
your music?
Speaker 2 (23:24):
What the hell goes on in your brain?
Speaker 13 (23:26):
How does it feel to be followed by so many people?
Speaker 6 (23:28):
How much fan mail do you yet?
Speaker 2 (23:30):
How's your daughter?
Speaker 4 (23:31):
Have you read my letter?
Speaker 2 (23:33):
What's it like being famous?
Speaker 4 (23:38):
What's your first question. Yeah, song's amazing. You know, the
word stan is now in the dictionary, the Oxford Dictionary
because of eminem. No one I created the term.
Speaker 1 (23:52):
Yeah, sure, whatever happened to Dido?
Speaker 4 (23:55):
Not sure?
Speaker 5 (23:55):
I got to look that up. Yeah, I don't know
how to spelled Dido.
Speaker 1 (23:58):
Did she doing the idea? I think she's done a
kiss concert in the past. Yeah, to look back, and
she's featured in that song.
Speaker 4 (24:05):
She was good.
Speaker 5 (24:06):
She's fifty three.
Speaker 4 (24:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (24:07):
Her real name is Dido Interesting, Dido Florian Cloud, O'Malley Altumstrong.
She has a very long name. She was performing as
twenty nineteen. She's from London.
Speaker 1 (24:19):
Yeah, she's married.
Speaker 4 (24:21):
Okay, good for Dido.
Speaker 2 (24:22):
Yeah she's still around there you go.
Speaker 4 (24:24):
She has dual citizenship between that's quite enough. Do we
need a deep time? She went on tour and twenty
Okay enough, we're not bringing Dido back. Yeah. It didn't
even need you know what, It didn't even need Dido.
Speaker 1 (24:39):
This song needed Lisa. Hey, I gotta squeeze this in. Okay,
the New Superman movie. I love it. Since the movie's release,
a five hundred and thirteen percent increase in Google searches
for Adopted Dog which is cool because Superman's dog, a
Schnauzer in the movie named Crypto, is.
Speaker 4 (24:57):
An adopt dog, so Matt in that percentage. Very cool.
All right, Crypto? All right, Dido? Are we done? Are
we done with Dida? I think we're done with Tya?
Go ahead? Okay?
Speaker 5 (25:09):
And are you sure we're doing Okay.
Speaker 1 (25:12):
We're brought to you by Ocean Edge Resorting Golf Club.

Speaker 7 (25:36):
Merry Christmas from the Planet Fitness Kiss one O eight Studios.
Speaker 2 (25:41):
We we're back with a Billy and Lisa in the morning.
Speaker 1 (25:45):
Okay. I don't know if you know this, but my
summer home is at Charlestown Marina, by the way, voted
number one marina in the country. And uh and their company,
Ocean Haven's has a free movie night tonight at the
East Austin Shipyard and it's mo Wana to justin.
Speaker 4 (26:04):
In, Go in Go and od.
Speaker 1 (26:09):
You know, we've got Macy on the phone from Ocean
Haven's and Macy, I'm almost afraid to ask.
Speaker 4 (26:14):
It is Mowana too tonight the free movie, right.
Speaker 10 (26:17):
Yes, it is. You've got that, right, Billy. We're showing
milanait at the shipyard in East Boston tonight.
Speaker 1 (26:25):
Now, you got a lot going on besides the movie,
because I've hosted it a couple of years. And don't
you have food trucks down there and everything else?
Speaker 10 (26:32):
We sure do. We've also got some live music planned
in store for you guys this evening starting at seven
point thirty. We'll have food trucks for some dinner and dessert.
We've got some swag giveaways. We've got some photo ops.
Because we're in East Boston, we've got the best view
of the Boston City skyline. You're gonna want to snap
some pictures before the movie starts, once the sun goes down.
Speaker 2 (26:55):
And Macy, this is a free event, right, yes, says.
Speaker 10 (26:58):
The mission is totally free. Please bring your friends.
Speaker 1 (27:02):
Oh, bring the kids, Bring the kids, friends, bring the
entire neighborhood.
Speaker 2 (27:05):
Nothing that it's gonna be a beautiful night.
Speaker 1 (27:07):
And it's a wide open lot least, and you got
food trucks around the periphery, and the movie screen is
set up, and like people start laying out beach chairs
and everything, and they're ready to go.
Speaker 4 (27:15):
It's a movie night. And like you say, may see
the view is a spectacular. So what time does the
movie start?
Speaker 10 (27:24):
The movie will start probably right around eight thirty or
shortly after, once the sun has started to set. We
need it to be a little bit dark you can
see the screen. But like I said, there'll be lots
of fun prior to you know what.
Speaker 1 (27:35):
You should have somebody selling those a little battery powered fans.
Speaker 4 (27:39):
Okay, it's gonna be hot.
Speaker 1 (27:41):
Might be a little warm out there for sure.
Speaker 10 (27:44):
Well nice cold treats for you.
Speaker 4 (27:46):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (27:46):
So East Boston Shipyard is there an address you can
give people?
Speaker 10 (27:50):
And yes, it is at two fifty six Marginal Street
in East Boston, right by the Maverick NBT stop the
East Boston Faery doc. So we encourage people to walk, bike,
take public transit, take a water taxi. There's plenty of
ways to get to us.
Speaker 1 (28:08):
You know, not enough people take advantage of the water
taxis on Boston Harbor.
Speaker 4 (28:12):
That's a good idea.
Speaker 1 (28:13):
It's a hidden yes, and you get out on the water,
on the water, not worried about parking around.
Speaker 4 (28:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (28:20):
Okay, the other reason I wanted to get you on.
We've been talking to Lisa Dunovan, who was a cold
Play and it so happens you were there yesterday, right,
I was.
Speaker 10 (28:29):
I had so much fun. I saw some of the
pictures Lisa posted on the Kiss Instagram too. It was
a fantastic show.
Speaker 2 (28:37):
Wasn't it.
Speaker 3 (28:37):
I would go back again tonight if I could. Honestly,
he's just absolutely he's just connects so much with his audience, right, so, yes.
Speaker 10 (28:46):
His personality and also just the theatrics of it all too.
The production and their special effects was so much fun
to watch.
Speaker 2 (28:52):
Yeah, the singalongs, the fireworks.
Speaker 1 (28:55):
It's not free movie night at East Boston Shipyard, but
it is Coldplay. And now, did you have a favorite
moment because Lisa had several?
Speaker 10 (29:05):
I mean I was. They led with fireworks and confetti
and that's most other artists grand finale. So when I
saw that, I knew we were in store for a
really good show. And so to kick off with that.
It was a great way to start the evening and
I loved it. And it only went up from.
Speaker 1 (29:23):
There, all right.
Speaker 4 (29:24):
And by the way, what time did you get home
last night?
Speaker 10 (29:29):
I got home around two am. Not a lot of
sleep and a whole lot of coffee, but it was
worth it.
Speaker 1 (29:35):
Yeah, Lisa was in here at four point thirty this
morning and she didn't get in until about two in
the morning, so.
Speaker 10 (29:40):
Oh wow, she is a trooper.
Speaker 2 (29:42):
It was worth it. It was worth it.
Speaker 4 (29:44):
Macy.
Speaker 1 (29:44):
Always a pleasure. Thanks for checking in. Free movie night again.
What's the address.
Speaker 10 (29:49):
Two fifty six Marginal Street in East Boston. It's Boston
Harbor's Shipyard and marina and we hope to see you there.
Speaker 1 (29:55):
And it's Mowana too, right out there on Boston Harbor.
Speaker 10 (29:58):
Thanks Macy, Thanks Philly, Thanks Lisa.
Speaker 1 (30:01):
By all.
Speaker 4 (30:02):
Yeah, my children went to the Moanitu in my town
last night. It was an outdoor screen now and they
sat through the whole movie. Oh yeah, So this is
a great event to go to if you have kids,
they gonna love it. I'm guessing you. I was not. No,
I was at home. I was in bed, but my
wife was sweltering, sending me pictures, but it was a
lot of fun and it's very rare for them to
(30:24):
sit for two hours. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (30:25):
Wow, that movie's captivating.
Speaker 4 (30:27):
So yeah, so that's really cool.
Speaker 1 (30:30):
And Lisa justin, let's get them in the chalkback leftovers.
Speaker 4 (30:33):
There are lots of them, lot of tired people this
morning waking up from cold Play last night at Julette,
including Lisa.
Speaker 2 (30:39):
Just waking up from cold Play and tuning in. It
was so incredible.
Speaker 4 (30:43):
Lisa.
Speaker 14 (30:44):
I looked for you down in the crowd, but there
was a sixty five of the thousand people, so couldn't
find you.
Speaker 4 (30:50):
But hope you had as much fun as I did.
Speaker 3 (30:53):
I had an amazing night, every single second. Yeah, and
I would do it all over again if I could.
Speaker 4 (30:59):
That mean that says a lot. Yeah, I want to traffic,
the parking, the heat, and you would go again.
Speaker 2 (31:05):
Absolutely.
Speaker 4 (31:06):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (31:06):
It was just fun, like we never sat down.
Speaker 4 (31:09):
Yeah, it looked amazing. The videos always look amazing. Cold
Play live. So if you're going tonight, make sure to
check in tomorrow with us on the talkbacks. So give
us a call and let us know. The talkbacks are
always open at any time of day. You can leave
a talkback at Gellette.
Speaker 1 (31:24):
Oh right from the show.
Speaker 4 (31:25):
Definitely download the iHeart app. It's free. You can you
can leave a talkback from right there. You can leave
a talk back about anything. You can even rap if
you want.
Speaker 15 (31:32):
My name's Fizzle Lumma, local artist who goes the hard
is looking to see if I give you a kiss
one hundred and eight times, if you could potentially play
one of my latest tracks.
Speaker 1 (31:41):
Look, it's entitled.
Speaker 15 (31:42):
Walls Down and you better believe it's gonna shut the
studio down. So all I'm asking is believes so winning
and justin if you would give me a chance, I
believe this song could be the next summer jam.
Speaker 2 (31:53):
Oh I actually felt like that, and it's good.
Speaker 4 (31:55):
All right, Fizzle, you know what, shoot your shot. No,
it's more of a jamming thing. You can send it
to them down there too.
Speaker 7 (32:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (32:04):
I think you have a better chance down the hall.
Speaker 4 (32:06):
I've never had before.
Speaker 1 (32:08):
That's kind of yeah.
Speaker 4 (32:10):
Yeah, that's pretty cool. Yeah, listen, the talkbacks are for everybody.
You can leave a talk about back about anything. And
we just had Macy on for the streaming screening of
Moana Too tonight at the East Boston Shipyard. That's gonna
be a cool event.
Speaker 12 (32:22):
Hi everyone, good morning, It's Devin from Danvers. I loved
that little segment with Macy talking about the movies tonight
in East Boston. I just got to say, as somebody
who is at that, you know, East Boston Harbor Shipyard
every single weekend because we work there as well, it's
the most beautiful view of Boston you'll ever see from
(32:45):
from that pre So absolutely go check that out. You're
gonna love it.
Speaker 1 (32:49):
Yeah, you get the entire skyline, especially you'll be there
for movie night tonight. If you turn around and look
at the Boston skyline all lit up, if you haven't
seen it lit up recently, it is mind blowing.
Speaker 4 (33:01):
Oh it's so much different than when I was growing
up East Boston. Yeah, oh yeah, so much different. It
would be so cool to go.
Speaker 5 (33:07):
On like a boat at night. I wish we know
anybody that I don't know anyone that takes a boat out.
Speaker 4 (33:14):
We're gonna pick a date for the morning show.
Speaker 5 (33:16):
I've never seen that view before because I've never really
been out on a boat.
Speaker 4 (33:20):
Yeah. I did an inflatable yeah a few times.
Speaker 2 (33:25):
Yeah, it's just not the.
Speaker 1 (33:26):
Same pick for the morning show.
Speaker 5 (33:29):
I've known someone for seven years with the boat. He's
never once took it out.
Speaker 4 (33:33):
Never. It would be nice to see the sea, you know,
the skyline from a yacht. Yes, I will show you
the skyline from a yacht. We will have a ball,
We'll have it catered.
Speaker 2 (33:42):
Oh, he says this every summer. You guess who's catering
at me? He went on the way, can't pick up
some shrimp, some sushi.
Speaker 1 (33:51):
Yeah, make sure you had some taps.
Speaker 4 (33:54):
I'm gonna have some entertainment to maybe some Dido bring
back t Yeah. The in your report this morning because Dido,
who was on stand with EM and m the documentary
is coming out called Stan So we were talking about.
Did a lot of Dido talk this morning.
Speaker 16 (34:08):
Hello, it's Dido. I just wanted to give you guys
an update of my life. I'm taking care of my
collection of subrus that have climbed Mount Washington and all
of my cats.
Speaker 15 (34:18):
So there you go.
Speaker 4 (34:19):
Oh, thank you. I don't think we had enough Dido talk. Now.
That'll do it.
Speaker 3 (34:24):
Kids, It's the morning wrap up on Billy and Lisa
in the morning.
Speaker 4 (34:29):
Let's go. Here's what you missed on the show this morning.
Night one of Coldplay at Jillette was last night. It
was hot, there was traffic, but Lisa went. She made it.
She loved it. Even even Chris Martin was talking about
the traffic on stage.
Speaker 17 (34:41):
You must have superpowers because they can survive the street
in all this seat. They sucked for traffic in so
many hours. Welcome everybody, And the first thing we want
to say is thank you for coming.
Speaker 4 (34:59):
I though it's such a hey to get in here.
Thank you for being God. Name a nicer guy than
Chris Mom.
Speaker 2 (35:04):
Can I tell you what he did last night?
Speaker 3 (35:05):
He picked people out of the crowd that they showed
up on the screen and he made up songs like
little ditties on the spot about each person.
Speaker 4 (35:13):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (35:13):
It was really cool.
Speaker 4 (35:15):
Wow. So if you're going tonight, you have a lot
to look forward to.
Speaker 2 (35:17):
You do it was an amazing show, and leave.
Speaker 4 (35:19):
Early and expect to get home at three am.
Speaker 2 (35:22):
The door close to.
Speaker 4 (35:23):
Two o'clock in the Yeah, Lisa, you.
Speaker 2 (35:26):
Know, I don't even know how I'm here this morning.
Speaker 4 (35:28):
So anyway, if yeah, if you go in tonight to tonight,
make sure you hit us up on the talk back
so we'll give us a call tomorrow. Also this morning
for topic time side hustles does a new side hustle
in New Yorker girl invented or you know, came came
up with some seinfold actually called car sitting, and you
know we came up with our own mind's going to
be selling eggs when he tried to take a shot
at me for it, but I'm sticking by it with
(35:48):
selling eggs.
Speaker 7 (35:49):
Justin go ahead and sell your eggs because you are
going to make money off of them. Real egg eaters
will pay more for found fresh eggs, not the brown
eggs in the store. Your found fresh eggs that aren't
unwashed and unrefrigerated. They last longer, and they're more tastier,
especially in.
Speaker 2 (36:07):
The green eggs. If you have a green egg layer.
Speaker 7 (36:08):
Oh my gosh, so good.
Speaker 4 (36:11):
Do I have a green egg layer? Find out what
it's not for everybody. No, they are tastier, I've heard this.
They taste better and you don't have to refrigerate them.
Speaker 7 (36:24):
Right.
Speaker 1 (36:25):
If I'm gonna buy backyard eggs, I'm gonna buy them
from your wife Jat.
Speaker 4 (36:28):
Thank you very much. So they should be coming very soon.
Also this morning, Tully Banta Caine, former Patriot, two times
Super Bowl winner, was in studio. He has the Beach
Football League this weekend at Hampton. Gonna be great, amazing events.
They're gonna have corn holes, sand castles and former Patriot
players too.
Speaker 6 (36:45):
Saturday and Sunday, We've got a bunch of New England
Patriots coming out. Mikey be is gonna be there, Lonnie
Paxton's gonna be there, Jermaine Wiggins is gonna be Whoa,
Patrick Chung, Jarvis Green, Patrick Pass, Pete Brock. So everyone
from every era Patriots will be out there. And we
may even see an Oklahoma Joe between Winnie and Billy.
Speaker 4 (37:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (37:02):
And we got to be clear that mikey Vee is
not a former Patriot.
Speaker 4 (37:05):
He played for He played for framing him high. Yeah
in college too.
Speaker 2 (37:11):
He did.
Speaker 4 (37:12):
Oh and justin allow us at least.
Speaker 1 (37:13):
And I promised Terring his way out that we would
get his sponsors in because he's never managed it.
Speaker 4 (37:18):
Can we do it?
Speaker 11 (37:18):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (37:19):
Huge list, So Polar Seltzer, Shadboomy, you know the tents,
the beach tents, I have one. Shod Boomy is a
huge sponsor, Gatorade, Water Beach Club, Casino and Bernie's Beach Bar.
Speaker 4 (37:30):
Oh nice. Oh and he also added fast signs in
Boardwalk Cafe too. Oh yeah, so it's pretty cool. He's
expanding this Beach Football League.
Speaker 1 (37:37):
You should get a shabboo meet for the pool side.
Speaker 4 (37:40):
I actually I'd never heard of it until now, so
maybe maybe I will. Okay, speaking of pools, that's another side.
We were talking about side hustles. I guess that's the
one too.
Speaker 11 (37:48):
I just want to share that there is a huge
side hustle of people renting out their pools.
Speaker 5 (37:56):
I don't know how, and I don't know why, but
they rent their pools out to others for swimming and gatherings.
Speaker 4 (38:04):
If I want that at my house.
Speaker 3 (38:06):
He was showing up, probably from an insurance standpoint.
Speaker 2 (38:10):
He's got some issues.
Speaker 4 (38:11):
Yeah, it's drinking involved, right, all of a sudden they're
sneaking into the house. Yeah, yeah, no good. And finally,
this morning, we were talking about Severance, which got a
bunch of Emmy nominations, and how we're dressing up the
Billy and Lisa Morning Show as the cast of Severance
group costume. Yep, I'm gonna play Mark, the lead character.
Lisa is going to be Helly my Helly. Winnie is
(38:35):
going to be Dylan the frumpy looking one, and Billy
is going to be Irving who's the and the the
fourth member, and then he has a gay lover Bert.
It's gonna be played by Anthony from Digital here at
the radio. We think so we have an aster. Well yeah,
he'll do what we say and got a role to producer.
Riley is going to be oh, miss Wong, the young
(38:57):
girl on the show.
Speaker 2 (38:59):
Jesus, slightly creepy a little.
Speaker 4 (39:01):
Bit, but let me tell you when he has Dylan.
Speaker 10 (39:04):
Perfect Winny is Dylan bad attitude?
Speaker 1 (39:10):
Very true man, but the Mighty one also a legend,
if not anywhere else, possibly in his own mind.
Speaker 4 (39:17):
He was at that cold play.
Speaker 2 (39:20):
I was sitting right next to him.
Speaker 1 (39:21):
Which one of us is going to tell him to
give up on the mustache?
Speaker 4 (39:24):
Oh he won't. I talked about it. Yeah, he grew
a mustache and he's sticking with it.
Speaker 1 (39:28):
And he's coming and open the door.
